Graphics contest - ZU FUNDRAISER

Well, lets raise some dough for the forum we love, shall we?

This is the sign-up thread for an all-out graphics competition. It doesn't matter if you're a spriter, sig maker, avatar maker, sketch artist, anything to do with graphics!

The way this will work: At first the different artist types will be split up into different sections. The top two of each of those sections will compete in a randomly chosen graphics related contest chosen by me and the judges.

Now, I'm also looking for four other judges. Sign up for that if you're interested.

Prizes
1st. Avatar and Signiature combonation + bragging rights
2nd. Avater + bragging rights
3rd. Bragging rights

Now, for the sign-up requirments: You must submit a video(under 1 minute) of you donating at least five dollars to ZU.

I appreciate people stepping up to help out the site, and every bit helps, but maybe we could put our heads together and come up with more ways to raise money in addition to the graphics contest? just putting that out there!

Seriously, even if it isn't a big turn-out, at least ZU has some money, right?

75$ is half a forum license and the domain bill for like 12 years!

heh, I know nothing about how this website stuff works, I was just thinking "ok we raised $2,000 for ZU before, and this will get, maybe $75?

It just seemed imbalanced to me, but as I said, I have no idea how much this kind of stuff costs

At least it raises money.

Money is money, and hey, if it helps ZU, the admins can't complain. But.... with that money, where would it go and for what purpose?

*facepalms* Why doesn't anyone get it?! The raised funs would be sent to Jason, and he would use it for whatever ZU purpose he wants!

VN -- we're thinking that for the amount of effort we're going to expend to make this project work, we could make so much more money.

I mean, you're busting a gut to get this thing off the ground. Whereas if you busted a kidney in the right time and place, we could make -- perhaps -- ten times as much moneh.

The funny thing is, people keep saynig that, but I'm the only one that tries.

Seriously, if you guys have so much better ideas to raise money for ZU, GO DO THEM!
