The Lads Camp: Man-Strong

This is the official thread for the guy's team in the giant gender-war. Or something.

This stuff needs to be sorted because you can just see the interest sipping away and this could actually be kinda fun if it's gonna roll. So, you've got 24 hours from the start of this thread to say what you'd like to do. I'll update the beginpost whenever someone signs up for a category.

Allright, so this is the list:

We need 3 male-players per category! Except for the PodCast-category; we need 2 male-players here! You can only sign up for 2 categories in total, so choose wisely!

!! Make sure you put in a small argumention when you sign up for a category as a player. This will increase your chances for being picked !!

We also need 2 male-judges in total; they will judge every category! Along with 2 female-judges, they will form the complete judge. You can't be a judge if you're already signed up as a player!

!! Again: make sure you put in a small argumention when you sign up as a judge. This will increase your chances for being picked !!

After 24 hours, Power Shot shall pick the players. The judges will be decided by both Power Shot and Anime_Queen. The picks might be discussed with everyone if there are more nominees than places, but once Power Shot has made a decision, that decision is final and can not be changed. The picks will be based upon his own experience/your argumentation, so don't feel offended if you don't get picked; it's nothing personal.

This should do the trick. Remember: only sign up if you're willing to take part in this 'war'.

- Beh ("I feel I'm pretty unbiased.")
- Sailboat (I'm a good critic and I know a good bit about all the challenges. I could easily swallow my huge male pride and be fair if you want me to. Although it may appear that I am EXTREMELY biased towards the male side, I'm not. Trust me, I can be a perfectly fair judge if you want me to.")
- Deception ("I have a keen eye for detail, I've always gotten top grades in essays, and I'm decent at judging poems and drawings. I've also listened to some good podcasts, so I should be good at judging the Podcast debate.")
- Mattocks ("I know I'm not as well known as say the MODs, but I think if anything that would make me less bias as I don't have any close connections to most of you guys (no offence). I like to play devil's advocate, so I always keep an open mind, and can see things from both sides. I'm not particulairy outstanding in any of the catigories, but I understand them all quite well. I try to take the bias out of everything I do, so that should not be a problem for me at all. Realy, I want to be a judge because I know I wouldn't stand a chance at any of those comps, and I want to still be part of this somehow because it if a defining moment for ZU.")

Put me down for judging. Because...uh...I'm unbiased and all that. I don't really know what else to say. I can judge singing, haikus, and artwork because I know a little bit about all of those things (some more than other, obviously), so yeah. The other stuff is all pretty much up to the individual person's taste.

Do we really need a Brawl judge?

Put me down as a judge for the Dare Contest. I have nothing better to do.

Also signing up as a compeditor for the Essay Contest and as a Judge for the Artwork contest.

We need to know exactly what we can do for the Singing Contest.

I'd like to judge Brawl Showdown and Artwork Melee please. :3

Brawl Showdown: I like Brawl and I feel I'm pretty unbiased. Besides there are 3 judges to straighten me out. xD (How can it be judged btw? Whoever beats someone in Brawl beats them. No denying.)

Artwork Melee: I've always been quite fond of art and just like above I'm unbiased and there'll be 3 others if I'm tempted.

Hope don't have to resort to bribery. ^_^

Shot, don't make people confused in this signup page; use the Battle-page for that. You can, for example, demand someone to take a picture of the end-results, which the judge will receive and post. Something like that. And isn't there a spectator-option in Brawl? Oh well, discuss this in the other thread - this is for signups only. It seems like Brawl doesn't need judges.
