Sorry to burst your bubble, but I doubt we could even make an app with our current finances. But maybe I'm wrong; I'm no webmaster, after all.

As for a Florida project, how about we get together everyone from Florida, south Georgia, and other surrounding states and go to Disney, Busch Gardens, or Adventure Island?
It would be fun!
we DO have a special MEETUPS forum

Nope, I agree with him. Needs an actual purpose. You said you want to make a "ZU suicide club". That's not enough to start a project from. What would the club do? It's really not a project. Just go make a group, and use that as your clubhouse. Or, elaborate on why creating a club should count as a project.

EDIT: I'd also like to file a complaint, about ZIMPP. The project that was approved 3 months ago and never did anything.

Please use this thread for serious suggestions, thank you.

And DD, have you brought it up with the people who had planned to head that project? I believe Ranil suggested it, maybe you should hit her up.

I've requested for someone to remove her from the CC group. Sorry guys, I should have done that long ago.

Since Lord Ranny's project "kicked the bucket", I suppose that means there is an opening for a project now? (Not that I have anything in mind, or to sugguest.)

Since when was there a set number of projects allowed to be going at once? Last I checked, it was just if it was a good (and do-able) idea, it got turned into something real.

^Yes, but Margar (kind of) made a number of how many are allowed to go at once. ZU just can't have twenty projects going at once, too cofusing.

That was more something I set up at the outset of the rebirth of this forum, just so we wouldn't have an influx of dumb projects

But since we have more CC mods than just me now, a limit isn't as important.
Now it is more of just a matter of "doability".

Official ZU BigCanofBeer

So uh I just got this idea and I think it would be really great.

It's like the Big piece of paper project except we would do it with a beer.
I figured it would be a fun thing to sign and pass around when the BPP runs out of room.
But I didn't want to leave the younger members out so I thought maybe if Jason had a problem w/ mailing beer to minors it could be sorta like an "entry into adulthood" present from ZU. So we would uh, mail the official ZU Beer Can to members on the day that they are first able to legally drink in whichever country they might be in, then they can sign it and mail it to the next person on the list. (no DRNIKING the Official ZU Beer )
Not sure about border laws though. =/

So maybe there could be Official ZU Beer Can's for each continent/country or something.

I dunno I thought it could be kinda fun. Besides I've never had an excuse to mail beer to someone before.

Let me know what you guys think.
If people want to do it I would be willing to organize and look into the feasible logistics of such an activity.

I don't see it happening. The project is too much like the BPP project... plus the beer would get warm. There is also no way that ZU can make sure no kids drink from it unless it was completely empty, washed out, and closed.

Re: ZU Community Center: Got an idea for a project? Read First Post!

but why would anyone drink warm beer?
that'd be like burning the BPP. =(

well maybe it could be for birthday's exclusively then? that would be different then the BPP project I suppose.

And then problem gets a little more focused. The average age of people on this site is below the legal drinking age, and then there are still people who lie about their age. It's easier to lie about your age here than it should be.

Re: ZU Community Center: Got an idea for a project? Read First Post!

Eramus: I see several problems forming from this.

1. Mailing beer at a site that claims to be "family friendly".
2. It's sounding too close to the BPP.
3. How many active ZUers turned 18 this month? Not a lot. And, out of those, how many do you guess would sign up for this?
4. Oh, and isn't the drinking age different in different countries? That would be another not fun factor to keep track of.

1. I have beer with my family.
2. yes that's true
3. I don't know, guess there's only one way to find out.
4. I would not have a problem keeping track of that. would other people?

Having beer with your family is very different from what you're proposing to do with random people on the internet.
