Welcome To The Jungle Desert







It's a warm place here for sure. And dry, yet the humidity spikes like crazy. 124F the other day, and 115 at 1 AM. Still, this place is built up pretty good in that there are actually (hot) buildings for people to work out of, or pallets. Or you're just on the flightline for 12 hours, like me.

So I went boating the other day and here are some photos of the trip.

It actually got kind of dark out, the sun was almost going down. It's get's dark around August, and there was rainbow, but I couldn't get a decent pic of it

I was planning on buying one originally but settled for a telecaster!

Frankly, it's a carbon copy of a Rickenbacker 4003 series. Originally produced by Ibanez somewhere in the 1970's, when Rickenbacker hadn't filed a lawsuit against Ibanez for duplicating their design. I've been looking for scrap parts across the internet to fix it up a bit.

Sadly, it doesn't sound like a Rick; partially the reason why I'm contemplating to throw in some original pick-ups to get that authentic Rick-O-Sound.

Yesterday I returned from my trip to Utah to visit my boyfriend, LexanPanda. I stayed there for 18 days and long story short, it was an incredible experience. I can't wait to go back, whenever that may be. Here's some pictures. ^_^


The two turtles are necklaces that we've had for over a year. He sent me the brown one last year and he's kept the white one, and when we met it's like our turtles were reunited. The picture was his idea. It's one of my favourites (:

Here's a picture of the gorgeous mountains. Being from Ontario, I've never actually seen a mountain before because this place is so flat. When I flew over these in the plane, I was like "yep, I'm definitely in Utah!"

Tess...I did not know you were from Ontario...or even Canada (which is bad since the flag is there). But trust me, Ontario isn't flat. Saskachewan and everything East of Calgary is flat. Ontario is pretty bumpy.

Glad to hear you guys have been together so long. I know how hard it is so I know how much you must mean to each other. Just don't give into the American ways because not only will he win, but so will Vynrah!

Went to the Biennale of Sydney the other day and the guy I'm seeing took a sneaky photo of me looking at one of the artworks. Turned out better than expected.



It lit up when you rubbed the back of your hand against it, and the feathery fronds would slowly open up. Weirdly sexual, actually.

I found this old hat which always makes me feel like Alexander DeLarge whenever I wear it.
So let's strike a Clockwork Orange pose.
