So I was playing Skyward Sword, got through an important event in the storyline, and remembered. I remembered Zelda Universe. I've salvaged this account from a time when I wasn't quite myself, but it will do as long as the
ZU community can accept that.
I can't say I've been the most devoted fan of the series. I've left it off and on, especially when the newer handheld games came out. But about everything I am has something to do with Zelda, or I found because of Zelda. My love for hummus, open source blender, piano, and gumbo have all came from Zelda-oriented sites.
I'm almost done with
SS. I remember everyone having huge hopes about the game, and it
did get a 10/10 on IGN. But I felt it... Somewhat lacking. I think it's that the world was so dense. I know others like this, but I loved the open Hyrule field of previous games. In my opinion, the story isn't really meshed properly with the items and mini games, and all the other places. But the absolute worst part of the game is... No fishing

(as far as I can tell). And I really despise how they nerfed the Gorons and Zoras for kikwis and... Moldorms? Despite that some theorize that they are early forms of my two favorite species. I'm not
hating on it, I really like the twists on the plot, the combat, and how everything comes together at certain points.
But enough about Zelda. My stomach usually thinks louder than my brain, and I have a huge appetite. I've taught myself to stay out of politics after a couple of unfortunate bouts, but still hold my opinions. Well, I'm back. And we'll see if I'll fall off the forums again or maybe become more prominent in months to come.
