Best Users Evar

Bein (somewhat) new here, I wanted to leaen some of ZU's history. And I decided to find the best users
ever. So, what do you think? And be nice.

MOD EDIT: This can stay open for now, but only post "best"s. "I hate Liah" is not an okay response.

Bad = Cody.

Worst = Avamike.

There's a lot of bias in this one, but it's for good reason.

sadida is the best member this place has ever had. Super nice to anyone she ever talked to, an amazing artist in both digital and hand-created work, and even though the girl has had an actual life outside of the internet since she first joined, she was able to devote a lot of effort to bettering this site for some time.

What I mean by that is while the majority of us who worked on the site back in the day were kids in highschool and college (some in middleschool, like myself early on), sadida was a young adult living on her own with her own responsibilities that most of us couldn't comprehend, but she still dedicated so much of her time to make this place as enjoyable as it was for the rest of us.

On a personal note, she's by far my favorite person to ever post here. We mainly kept in touch while I was in my early teens, and was there for me through the best and worst of my growing-up period. She would chat with me on a regular basis like a normal, real-life friend, she would support any of my endeavors in my writing and other site-related projects, and she even knocked some sense into me a few times when I was a stupid, immature brat.

She was pretty damn close to what a big sister would be, and when she never met me in person and only saw what I looked like based on a couple of still photos, well, it means a whole lot that someone would still care that much about me.

Alright, srs, whether this gets locked or not: best? Uh... probably a generic ZU answer, but Asia/Anime_Queen. I don't know anyone else who gave as much as she did, on a personal level, to this community. If I could show an ounce of the kindness she demonstrates... I'd probably cringe and shame in a corner somewhere lol. In all srsness, she's a great lady.

Worst? Uh. Erm. Me, probably lol.

I don't know you very well, but I do know that you've given just as much to this place. And everybody loves you, so you gotta be doing something right.

And anybody on here who still remembers me, especially back when I used to be super active, knows that sadida was my closest friend on this place. She's really the only thing about this place that can generate emotion out of me. Or at least get me to display it.

This can stay open for now guys, but it's changing to a "best" ZUers thread. Listing who you hate most isn't a nice thing to do any leads to hurt feelings. So keep in nice, mkay?

I remember the first time I ever went into #zelda, I had an hour-long conversation with sadida about constipation. she might actually be the best person ever.

WORST MEMBER EVER!

There are plenty of fantastic users on ZU, and I have a lotsa friends here, they're all awesome. However, I'm not saying my best ZU buddies (ilu, Foxheart <3), I'll try to focus on those who's done a lot for the community, imo.

Also, I can't mention a lot of wonderful members from the old times, because I'm relatively new, so... yeah. Prepare for ramble.

Liah

Liah has this bright, cheerful, sisterly aura. So, if you have problems, you go and tell her, and it's gonna be alright. She's in the ZUBC (everyone in the ZUBC deserves a bow, but I won't mention them all now, watch the banners and you'll know), and she also does community-building projects like sigs with all ZUers faces, or I dunno. Is that still in progress, Liah, or have you dropped it? Not that it would matter. So, I don't want to ramble a lot, what matters whenever Liah shows up, there's also a rainbow of friendship, or something cheesy like this. And she's technically friends with everyone on this site, and she never hesitates to show it off whenever it comes to a say something nice about your friends thread. I think I've never heard anything bad of her. That must mean something. So, yeah. She's a cool user.

Anyway she's a 65-year-old pedophile.


SacredSturgeon

I think Sturs deserves a mention for Nayru. I don't know about the other clans (Din has changed a lot since I left), but Sturs, he's the pillar of the Nayrulian community. He always has something nice and kind to say, and he never ignores anyone. And I think without him Nayru would be a complete dramaclan crap, and yet, he keeps everything cool and still most of the time. So, yeah. Perhaps he is not that well-known outside of the clanlands as other members are, Sturs is a cool user. A super cool one.



Margar

She's a hell awesome chick (another ZUBC person, yeah), and I think Margar also does a lot for the community. So there's ZUBC, but she also coordinates kind of everything with Mattocks (he also deserves a mention, yup), and she is very, very dedicated and it's really great. So is her humor that keeps the community colorful here. Also, if you look in the Scrapbook or the CT, you can see that she never ignores anyone, she also has great advices for men and women, and she's a really good friend. You have another cool user ever, cool, huh?


SuperDecimal

So, this man is, like, one of the kindest persons I've ever known. In his every post he shows how caring, how nice, how friendly he is, and this attitude definitely strengthens the community. Seriously, he's so nice that I feel like a mean person with no soul next to him. Plus, he's not only kind, but also damn smart as well, and I read somewhere that he has the most mod actions or something in the record of ZU, so I think here the statistics can also tell how much he's done and is doing for the community. Gotta respect this cool user.


Melpomene and Jehanne

They deserve a mention because of their art. I think it's really-really good, when the great artists make nifty artywork that features members of the community, and these two ladies do it all the time. I'm really glad, because it's so funny and nice to see drawn ZU members, or funny little comics around. And I sometimes feel their works and efforts are underappreciated, so -- hope you feel loved, ladies. <3



Avalanchemike

Since he's been a moderator, he does a lot for this community, I think. Sure, he might seem like a goddamn wanker for the first sight, but he's just like that, and he has his way to handle things, and the outcoming is usually very, very good. So you might as well trust him. I do appreciate all his efforts, because, ew, I sometimes feel he receives nothing but "aw, AvMike was mean to me" complaints. And he deserves more than that. Because he really does a lot for ZU -- for you too.


So, that's quite a lot for you to get to know! I'm sure I missed out some who should've been here, but I think these guys has done a lot, so it all works.

But then she dated the webmaster for a while, and then when she didn't have feelings for him anymore and broke up with him, he immaturely banned her.

I miss Sugar.

Anime_Queen is, indeed, the Queen of all the members. No one here has really come close to her. She's fantastic. Hardest working individual I know - and she honestly seems to have a special place in her heart for everyone. :3

Second, would be Liah. I would say she's pretty much on the same level as Asia! She seems to have a minute to spare for every member. Very caring~ <3

Then of course there are members of staff such as Notsil, Calliope, Avalanchemike, AxraelBlack, Florina, Breeze, etc, that you can approach with any question and they'll reply like the fuzzy cuddly teddy bears they are.. what? Actually, I find that everyone I work with is amazingly capable of making any noob welcome! GO YOU GUYS.

Then you have the forum sweethearts such as Lly, Jordan, Nesi, Joker, Fairess, Eternal Legend, Unknown Soldier, tnf, and many others that I'm sure I'm missing! They're really lovely individuals to talk to.

Overall, ZU is pooing out members that are awesome. Ya won't find many forums like this one.

I've never met a man kinder on ZU than Mike here. He's always concerned about the well-being of the forum go-ers, when he's not wondering about the welfare of the children in Africa. He's always sending me lovenotes filled with pretty pictures of flowers, hearts and snuggly kittens. Sometimes, at night, I just lie in his arms and cry, and he sings to me classics from the Sound of Music. He knows every song, every note, every word. So much love.

Notsil/Zach:
Aw man, I never thought Zach was the type, but he's... just so... sensitive. He cries to me over Skype about his worries, through whimpers and sobs tells me he only wants for a better world. His passion for animal rights drives him daily, but when things get down... he just cries. And, oh my god, don't even get me started on how much he tears up over ZU drama. When people are fighting, raging, whatever, he just sits at his computer and sobs until it's over. I love the fact he's so open about his sensitivity to the internet. Love you, man.

Aniday/Jordan:
His loyalty to the ZU mangement is amazing. I can't ever explain adequately how much he looks up to authority figures, how much he respects them. When we talk, it's all he ever goes on about! Well, no, sometimes he speaks about his adoration of rap music, which is strange, but he's always saying how much he wants to be like those wonderful rapper menz. Furthermore, he's so humble about his appearance, I don't know how he looks at himself in the the morning without thinking, god, you sure didn't tip the balance in MY favour, no sir.
