Official ZU Fan Game Thread

I'd be able to sprite again, but GoldStud is way better than me. Also, I'm only 13. Yes. I'm thirteen. I doubt you'd accept me for the obvious.

The project will need more than one spriter...as there is a lot of stuff to make and I don't think age is really a handicap

1. We have two different spriting styles.
2. I have had many turn downs because of my age regardless of skill.

I barely even lurk in the Zelda section, but this is getting off-topic. Case in point: Me and GS have different styles. Question: Should I make like GoldStud and just revamp the current tiles into a Twilight Princess fashion?

Hey, I signed as village writer before the restart, but I wasn't able to PM my Writing Staff audition at the time because I did not have computer access where I was. BUUT, I would still like to be involved with the project in any way I can be helpful. If you would like, I can help with music composition for the game, if you were planning to use an original soundtrack for it. Please let me know, and thanks in advance!

Age discrimination, I believe, will not be tolerated. If you can contribute, then your skills are greatly needed. Why keep such gifts to yourself when you can lift somebody else? If it comes down to your age being a problem, I'll fight for you! You have the heart and desire to take this project on, a grand quality that anyone would be fools to overlook and ignore.

You can always learn to work in the style that will be decided. If it's GS's style, than you have a fun challenge ahead of you! Also, my best friend GoldStud is always happy to teach you in his ways.

11:59 EST (basically midnight) is the exact deadline so if you get it in by then your good.

Ahh... bouncy hair. Thank you for the positive comments, especially Khao. That gave me the motivation to put together this next animation. Walking up is next!

I have to admit, I was disappointed by this question. The idea is that we make these sprites in Minish Cap's style. Not our own. I don't know if you've seen my other work, but this () is not in my style. If it was, it would look something like.... This: . As a spriter, I hope you can tell that those images are different, and that I am using Minish Cap's style in the place of my own. I was hoping that I had done a good enough job to make this obvious, but apparently I need to re-examine my work.

Hmmm... then maybe you should stop telling people your age, and let your skill do the talking? Instead of saying, "Hey guys, I'm 13," I recommend saying, "Hey guys, here's my great sprite." If you really are good, being 13 will make you even more impressive.

Soala, yes, send in some form of relevant sprites. We are still looking for spriters. Deadline is tonight, but if you send stuff in later we'll still consider adding you to the team.

No, I think I'm definitely just posting random thoughts. I'm going to be utterly busy starting September and then November, so I think the writing position will demand some time. I still really want to help out somehow, though. If in need of any concept art, illustration, or digital stuff like banners, I'd love to help.

No, and thanks for that correction. I changed it on the original sheet too.

By the way, what program do you use to generate .gifs? I would like to get rid of the "AdGif" banner at the top of all my animations.
