Gazr Metalshade
Name: Gazr Metalshade
Age: One hundred and twenty four. Race: Goblin Occupation: Goblin Engineer Sex: Male Hair: Gazr's hair WOULD be a beautiful shiny white colour, however he keeps it unkempt. You never really see it, though, because at all times he wears an old pilot's hat that he pilfered off of a dead human. Despite his headwear, though, his white hair sticks out on either side from under the cap. Eyes: Deep red colour; his right eye is partially blind. Weight: 20 stone. Height: Two and a half feet. Weapon: Being an engineer, Gazr has a great many weapons at his disposal, with the innate sense and ability to build more with the right materials. However, he has a few main weapons that stand to describe: Tools Exactly what it sounds like. Gazr uses a variety of tools for his work, and can use any one of them as a weapon. How, you might ask? By simply bludgeoning someone on the head, anything can become a weapon! Pellet Gun Built by Gazr, this small contraption is similar in size to a small automatic machine-gun, however it is somewhat smaller and is brown and green in colour, and not nearly as deadly. More of an annoyance weapon (however, prolonged shots can cause bleeding and, eventually, death), the pellet gun shoots small spherical bullets made of wood, soft metallic material, or anything else he can get his hands on. Boomshooterkiller (as fondly named by Gazr) A favorite of Gazr, this beauty is a true room-clearer. It's slightly inconvenient as a quick-fire weapon, because it must be set up. It works almost like a mortar, as it sits upon a stand and the ammo is shot in an arc. There are a variety of ammo's that Gazr can load into here, all of which equally deadly and creative: firebombs, which explode in a burst of fire on contact; boombombs, which simply explode on contact; poisonbombs, which release a cloud of gas that causes itching, weeping, coughing (not especially deadly, more of an escape/annoyance weapon); and lastly, flashbombs, which are similar to flashbangs in that they blind an enemy for a short amount of time. Dreadshocker Still in the experimental stage, this is a breakthrough in Goblin technology; four claws extend from the end of this weapon, and the user wears it like a glove on his/her hand. at the end of these claws, when the trigger is pressed, a small fizzing sound is heard, and a concentrated bolt of lightning is fired from the tips. Even though it is extremely dangerous to those AGAINST it, it is also dangerous to those using it. Due to the materials (some of them radioactive) used in the gun, prolonged exposure can cause defects and brain damage, and there is a chance that it will backfire and, instead, deliver a lethal dose of electricity to the user. As such, this is Gazr's least-used weapon. Strengths: To be blunt: Gazr is smart. Almost of a genius intellect. As such, he is very good at thinking things through and coming up with quick solutions to problems. Not only is he smart, but he is creative and devious, and does not have much of a conscience. Lastly, Gazr is stealthy due to his small size. Weakness: As a goblin, he is not very resistant the elements. To be more straightforward, goblins are flammable, conduct electricity, and cannot swim to save their lives. In addition to this, though he may be stealthy, his small size makes him weak and easily thrown-around. Goblin skeletal structures aren't known to be the strongest, so he is easily hurt. Skills/Magic: The only real skills that Gazr has are in engineering, as in building and creating things. He knows not of magic or spells, and fears warlocks and wizards deathly. Appearance: In the proverbial look of goblins, Gazr is short and has green skin, yes. He wears an old pilot's cap upon his head (his white hair sticks out at either side), and a gigantic pair of goggles adorn his eyes. As for his clothes, he wears cloth pants and a leather vest, and he has beaten-looking leather gloves on his hands. Gazr's smile is not pretty, not even in Goblin terms; it's a very wicked sort of thing, and often will give regular humans a chill down their spine. Each of his teeth is a point, almost like a dog's teeth, and they are somewhat yellowed, but clean. Goblins don't care much for hygiene in most respects (mainly bathing), but teeth are important. Gazr's clan doesn't necessarily eat nice, soft food, so without teeth you're lost and most likely dead. His skin is a mottled green colour, and it is very rough and callused. Scars adorn his body from various accidents or fights, and his clan brand is singed into his right shoulder. When he doesn't have his ridiculous-looking goggles on, you can see that his eyes are a deep red colour, almost the colour of blood. His left eye is partially blind from being hit there by a piece of metal shrapnel during an explosion in the workshop. A pair of leather footings adorn his feet, and on the tips are steel spike-looking objects. Needless to say, once he gets kicking, you start bleeding. Personality: Gazr isn't a very nice person to be around, and you could probably tell within five minutes that you want to stay away from him. He's a rough sort of creature, and his language isn't very intelligible; often it consists of mainly strange cursewords and whatever string of syllables that sound vaguely demeaning in any way. Needless to say, unless he speaks clearly and slowly, no one ever knows what the bloody hell he's talking about. Inside, he isn't a soft, emotional person like you would think (hah! I laugh at the thought!); he's just as mean inside on the inside, but more creative. You see, Goblins are not nice creatures, as has already been established, not even to their own kin. Their entire lives are spent (at least in HIS clan) figuring out ways to make the others lives miserable. At this, Gazr excelled. There is one place that Gazr finds peace of mind and body, though; when he's surrounded by metal, with oil and grease everywhere. The workshop was his home (and I don't mean that metaphorically. He slept and ate there and everything) and that's where he was and is comfortable. Gazr has no friends, and that's a fact of life. He does have acquaintances that he will be nicer to than others, but that's a pretty narrow subject as well. Goblins think not of beauty or of the creativity of something (even though Gazr himself is creative, but only to the point of deviousness), but of the efficiency of something. As such, Gazr will never appreciate the bark of trees, or the fear fire induces, only how he can use it to his advantage. Biography: Gazr was born just as every other Goblin in the clan was born; in the dirt and the muck and the grime. He grew up just as every other Goblin in the clan grew up; without love, without beauty, without something to care about. He went into engineering and found what he was good at, and did it. No tragic past, no quest for vengeance, that's about it. However, Gazr found that he was good at something other than engineering; killing things. And so, he set off to find jobs. Effectively, he was a goblin assassin. After this sort of fell through, he turned to robbery and found another thing he was good at. Using the stolen gold and money and things that he pilfered from others (no conscience about this at all, mind you) he bought himself a large workshop and began working on an aircraft that he could use to travel to other lands and see what they had to steal there. There was one night, a particularly beautiful evening, when Gazr was working on the finishing touches to his ship when there came noises of a large group of people outside. Opening the door to the workshop to see what the hubbub was about, people rushed in and began destroying his work, his creations. He was thrust aside and watched in horror as the beautiful craft went down in flames. The people simply laughed at him and told him things like "That's what you get!" and "That'll teach you to be a dirty little thief!" and they kicked at him. After they had all left (the only real damage they did was mutilating the aircraft and breaking several other contraptions), Gazr sat down and thought, and during that time he developed an inbred mistrust and hatred for humans, especially humans who trampled all over him. He promised himself that any humans like that would be dead.

Re: Gazr Metalshade
XD I like this character quite a bit. I gotta admit that I really didn't know what to expect from a goblin, but it's really well-done.
There's really only one thing I want to address, and that's the age. Now I understand that he's a goblin, but a thousand years is quite a long time and I feel like the biography doesn't really justify such an age. Maybe you could compromise with something closer to a hundred, say 124 instead of 1204?

Re: Gazr Metalshade
Alright, awesome. *approves*
He really is an interesting read, I want to see how you'll use him in an RP.
