Avyuir's Awsome Characters

Well, here are my BA characters since I was getting tired of the Character Thread nonsense, so here they are ^^ From my first created character Emir all the way down to my most recently created character Akita =^.^=

START: Emir

Name: Emir(ee-mere) Sedra (say-dra)
Age: 22
Gender: female
Race: Human

Class Symbol
Theme Song: The Howling by: Within Temptation

Hair: blonde and is about shoulder length but is tied in braids
Eyes: unnaturally crystal blue

Weapons: Emir has many weapons. Each weapon was forged from the great smith Hindemith Infinite. Her weapons are The Infinity Bow, The Infinity Polearm, and The Infinity Wing Duel Blades. She also has a Dark Dragon named Valakas in which she will call upon to get her out of sticky situations.
Armour: Emir has 1 set of armour. Her armour is called and Dark Crystal. This armour is stronger than diamonds, but as light as a feather.

Strengths: Emir has many strengths aswell. She can outrun a stronger opponent or she can catch up with a weaker one that is fleeing. Her speed is essential for defeting an opponent. She is also capable of judging what weapon she should use for combat. She also has the ability to charm male opponents.
Weaknesses: Even though Emir has great strengths she also has weaknesses to counter act them. She is weak against magic. Her armour protects against weapons not magic. She is a human so therefore can be decieved. She can only kill someone if they are truly a threat to the 5 races of her land. She does sometimes make a wrong judgement. She also easily falls in love. Her other weakness that is a majow one is that her skills have something of a cool down mode where she can't use them for a certain amount of time.

Skills:

Focus attack: attacks one enemy at a time. Used with a spear, dagger, or duel blades.

Whirlwind: a wide arcing swing that inflicts damage to multiple surrounding enemies.

Revival: Emir helas herself but only when she is greatly injured

Wrath: by swings a weapon at enemy

Apperance:

Personality: Emir is mostly layed back and is easy to make a friend with. But she only gives her trust to you once and if you break her trust within you she will not even acknowledge your presence. If a person were to hurt one of her friends though... they would have hell to pay. She is a little overprotective of her friends but she is a great allie. She is strong and courageous. Even though she has friends... she prefers to travel alone.

Bio: Emir once lived in the grand water jewel of her land, Lior. She was happy and young with her best friend Ryoko who lived together in the land of Aden. Ryoko was a Dark Elf, beautiful, young, and was a powerful fighter. Emir and Ryoko were palace guards for the King of Aden who lived in the palace located in the city which was called Aden aswell. But she did not serve the king... no she served her majesty the queen who was also a warlord. But on a fateful night, a night she happened to not be on guard duty, the palace was seiged! The attackers were from a renegade clan called Aurora. Luckily though the palace was saved. However another not so fortunate event happened the next day.

The King blamed Emir for the attack since she was not there when it happened. "Emir! You are guilty for leading those pitiful renegade scum from beyond the Dark Elven territory to here! From now on, You are BANISHED from Aden and its surronding cities. Pack your things and leave. You have two days to be gone from my land!" The King Boomed. "King Teon... she is not guilty of these crimes you speak of. She was at our home in Lior with me!" cried Ryoko. Those who liked the King better than Emir joined his side accusing Emir of crimes she had not done. Those who were friends of Emir and Ryoko accused the King of lying. "How dare you call your King a liar. You should all be banished with her." King Teon raged. " No. I will leave but my friends will stay. Queen Lionna it was a pleasure to serve you. King Teon aswell." Emir bowed her head and left without another word. She ran to her town, packed her things, and left without a single good-bye to anyone. She never truelly left them behind though. All of her friends knew that if they were in trouble, Emir would somehow save them. Some tried to follow her but could never find her.

She has traveled beyond the land of Aden to another called Elmore. Here she has lived in a small village called Garoh. Her she protects the village from outsiders that mean them harm. This is where she got her dragon, Valakas and has protected the village since.

She got her dragon when she found out that there was a female dragon killing travelers who went through the snowy pass Luita. Emir went up the pass and found that the only reason the dragon had been kiling was to feed herself because she was about to begin her egg laying process. Emir could not find it in her heart to kill the dragon so she decided to feed the mountain goats that had swarmed a mountain nearby. The first time she tried to do this however she was almost burned to ashes. But as Emir kept on feeding the female dragon it understood that Emir meant her no harm. Emir decided to name the female dragon Luita after the dragons snowy home. The day that the dragons eggs hatched was the day that Emir got Valakas. This was the dragons first baby to hatch out of the cluster of eggs. Emir named nim Valakas after the demon dragon that had been terrorizing the city Aden. Emir trained Valakas to protect their little village rather than destroy it.

An intersting day came to them when a young female elf ran into their village. Emir could tell that she was weak and had fought a great deal to reach this village. Cuts and bruises were everywhere that had not been protected by her amour. "Emir you must come back to Aden! Antharas has awoken and found his way from the top of Kruma tower! You must help!" the elf yelled. "Why should I go back?!? I'm banished. The king ordered it himself!" Emir replied coldly. "The king himself said it was foolish of him. He told me to find you and bring you back. He wanted to apologize. He said, 'It was foolish of me to banish Emir. She was my best warlord I've seen in all my reign.' Please you must come back. We are losing too many warriors. Emir, your friends are dying in battle because you are not their to lead them!!" Something clicked inside of Emir. She would not let her friends die because she was not their. "Fine. I will leave immediatly but you . . . stay here and rest untill you are better. Find my friend Aurora and she will give you something to make your journey to aden faster. Tell her I sent you. The elf nodded. Emir whistled for Valakas and took off into the sky back to Aden.

OoC:She is my first character to be part of the Alliance of Tasogare!!!

START: Ryoko

Name: Ryoko(Ri-o-ko) Dasta(Dah-sta)
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Race: Dark Elf
Dark Elf Symbol
Class: Blade Dancer
Class Description: The BladeDancer uses duel blades and dances to her own rythm to whichever dance she preferes. A BladeDancer has many dances ranging from those that she uses in combat to those that protect her in combat.
Class Symbol
Theme Song: Closer by: Lacuna Coil

Hair Colour: White
Eye Colour: Very bright green

Weapons: A pair of duel blades called, Swords of Delusion. A dagger called Angel Slayer. And of course her dragon, Biconne(bi co nay) of Blue Sky. (Not as large as Valakas!!He breathes blue fire cause he is an ice dragon!!)
Armour: She has a 1 set of armour This armour is called the Robe of Nightmares. Tis just a red robe that is somewhat cursed. Only one of the black magics can use this robe without being cursed by devilish nightmares. Very pretty too!!.

Strengths: Ryoko has strengths that are about the same as Emir's. But they still are different. She is faster than Emir but she can not run at a higher speed for too long. She loves to charm male opponents because of her big clevage(kids, don't ask your parents about that. You'll find out sooner or later!!). A strength that is one of Emir's weaknesses is she can kill with ease. It doesn't matter if they are a threat of not.
Weaknesses: Ryoko has a smaller frame than Emir so is therefor much easier to hurt. When she has run for a long distance, it takes her a long time to be able to run like that agin. Her skills also have a sorta cool down time like Emir's. She tends to have a temperment that gets her in trouble!! She tends to also be a little decieving that makes her not very liked by others.

Skills:

Dance of Fire: temporarily increases her critical damage. Creates a flame around her swords/dagger

Dance of Light: increases her attack power

Dance of Inspiration: Ryoko's next attack will always hit its mark

Dance of Fury: temporarily increases her attack speed.

Dance of the Shadows: protects her from heavy damage from dark magic attacks

Dance of the Siren: Ryoko dances a dark dance fearing most enemies

Apperance:
Robe of Nightmare
Swords of Dellusion
Angel Slayer
Biccone

Personaility: Ryoko is a bit tempermetal. She easily gets mad but she truly does have a caring heart even though she tends to show it in a weird way! She is a very powerful allie andis good to have on your team. Even though she acts like a prick, she is very humerous. Emir is her best friend and was heart broken when King Teon banished Emir.(Reffer to Emir's Bio) Once Emir came back (reffer to Clash in the Satrap Apitheater) she regained her old personality and her humerous ways. She is very kind to dragons especially her's. She loves to take care of Valakas when Emir leaves him with her.

Bio: Ryoko had met Emir when she was younger. She was only 16 when they first met. Back then, she was only a Palus Knite. She was on a mission to find this blue dragon that was killing many people and Ryoko had to destroy it. I hate being the best. Too many people rely on you to do things for em. Ryoko had met Emir while traveling to Dragon Valley wher the blue dragon lived. She was walking with her hands folded behind her head when she accidentally crashed into Emir.

"Hey, whats the big idea!!" Ryoko yelled

"Heh, sorry about that. But you should have been watching where you were going!" the warlord said. But back than, she was just a Human Warrior.

"What?!? You shouldn't have just been standing in the middle of the path!"

"As if, you weren't even paying attention! Plus, I was listening for a blue dragon!"

"What? You too were given this mission?!?"

"Yea, were you?"

"Yea, thats really the only reason to be here in Dragon Valley. Hehe, sorry about yelling. By the way, I'm Ryoko, Ryoko the Palus Knite"

"Training to become a Blade Dancer ehh. Well I'm Emir, Emir the Human Warrior!"

"Are you gonna be a Gladiator or a Warlord?"

"As if I'd be a Gladiator, there so barbaric. Warlord is what I'm goin for!!"

"Kewl, lets go get that blue dragon!!"

Emir nodded and they both set off to find the blue dragon. Although, when they found the blue dragon though, it was dying. Emir felt soory for it and Ryoko said this dragon was too beautiful to kill. They decided to heal it and pretty much brought it back to life.

"Well, since we have nursed it, who is going to keep it. It's too small for my tastes so why don't you have it!" Emir offered.

"What?!? You don't want him?"

"Nope, he's all yours Ryoko."

"Biconne, his name shall be Biconne."

"Hmm, I have a better one Ryoko, Biconne of Blue Sky!"

After that, Ryoko and Emir became great friends. They even decided to move in with each other. They both disliked the busy bustling of Aden so they decided to move to Lior. They both enjoyed there new home in the Grand Water Jewel City of Lior! Here, she and Emir were palace guards for the King Teon and thy lady the queen, Liona. Even though they lived in Lior, it was only about a 10 minute walk from Aden to Lior! They both were part of Queen Liona's personal guards. They made shure that no one was to harm the queen. When Emir was banished though she was broken. "

"Emir! You are guilty for leading those pitiful renegade scum from beyond the Dark Elven territory to here! From now on, You are BANISHED from Aden and its surronding cities. Pack your things and leave. You have two days to be gone from my land!" Teon Boomed.

"King Teon... she is not guilty of these crimes you speak of. She was at our home in Lior with me!" cried Ryoko.

Emir ended up leaving without even a simple good-bye. Ryoko became depressed and she hardly ever went to guard the queen. When Ryoko had recieved news that Antharas, the great devil land dragon had awoken, she knew they needed help. What she did not know, is that the Liona had sent a young elf, her pupil to be exact, to find Emir! With Emir's help they defeated Antharas but at a high price. Emir had been almost mortally wounded,(reffer back to Clash in the Satrap Ampitheater) and was layed in a comma for nearly a weak. Once Emir was strong enough, they both visited the King and Queen and Teon relinquished Emir's banishment. He had even offered Emir to become a palace guard once more but she declined.

"Sorry King Teon, but I've had to much fun traveling."

"Emir, are you crazy, this is what you do. Its what you've done since we met."

"Come with me then Ryoko. I'm sure Biconne would like to travel again."

"Come with you. With Biconne. But Biconne can fly and you can't."

"I know, but while I was banished, I got a dragon. His name is Valakas and he is much bigger than your little pipsqueak!!"

"WHAT?!? EMIR, HOW DARE YOU CALL MY BICONNE A PIPSQUEAK!!!!!"

"Believe me Ryoko, once you've seen Valakas. Biconne will look like a pipsqueak."

Ryoko twitched with irritation.

"Fine. I'll come with you. We'll see about your so called dragon Valakas."

"I am sure you two will be fine with each other. You will be missed. But know, you are always welcome in Aden and its territory." the sweet voice of Liona spoke.

Both Emir and Ryoko bowed. They would definitly be able to handle themselves, but what about the castle.

"Emir!!!!" yelled a young mans voice.

"Ehhh, Kagan? What are you doing here?"

"I'm a palace guard just like you were. But i'm a HawkEye know!!"

"Ryoko!!! Your leaving!! Please don't" cried a young girl about Kagans age.

"Avyuir, calm down. You'll do fine my dear SwordSinger! Kagan, promise me you will take care of Avyuir." (Yes, that is me woot!!)

"Of course Ryoko." Kagan saluted.

"And don't worry you two. Your ready now."

They both bowed again and walked out of the castle. Ryoko whistled for biconne and Emir whistled for Valakas. When Ryoko saw Valakas, she nearly fell over.

"Wow Emir. That is a big dragon!"

Armour: Avyuir is a relativly simple character with little to carry. Like only having one weapon, she has one set of armour. This armour is called Tallum Plate, they said it was worn by the greatest of all war heroes, Tallum Reighn.

Strengths: Avyuir have the abilty to hear very well. She can hear things from a mile away. She is very fast. She is quiet nimble too. She can easily evade an attack and turn on a dime. She is very skilled with her swords aswell.
Weaknesses: She may have the ability to hear well, but if its too loud, she gets quiet a headache. When she gets a headache, she can't concentrate on usuing her skills. Because she is nimble she has a light frame. Hard blows to her mid area can easily hurt her. Her skills, like both Ryoko and Emir, have a cool down aswell.

Skills: She has many skills just like my other characters.

Personality: Avyuir is a very kind and loving elf. She does not have the heart to kill no matter how evil. She is very sweet and everyone seems to love her. She does however, get very flusterred sometimes. Especially around her friend Kagan. She loves nature seeing as she is an elf. She dose hate people who burn down forests.

Bio: Avyuir had been learning from Ryoko on how to become a Palace Gaurd. She had been training intensively since she bacame the age of 16. She began as a simple Elven Knite on her way to become a full fledged SwordSinger. She had hoped to train from an actual SwordSinger. Instead, she got a down right dirty BladeDancer.

"I do not want to learn from a DarkElf!"

"Avyuir, listen to me. I may be a DarkElf, but still we are the same. A bladeDancer is not very different than a SwordSinger. Plus, al the Elven teachers are to busy training there pupils."

"Fine then Master Ryoko, teach me!"

"Just call me Ryoko. Master is too formal for my tastes."

Avyuir soon found at that Ryoko was a great teacher. She was actually wuiet happy that she did not get an Elvan teacher. But her training soon slowed, when Emir was banished.(OoC: hmm, seems like a lot of people were hurt from Emir's banishment. Hehe, bad choice King Teon!! BiC) Ryoko had been crushed by what happened to Emir (OoC:reffer to either Emir's or Ryoko's profile!BiC). Avyuir figured that if she gave Ryoko time, she would come back to her old self. But un fortunatly, it never happened. Avyuir was assighned a new teacher. An Elven SwordSinger. Avyuir did not like this teacher at all. She wanted Ryoko back.

"I am sorry, but I WANT Ryoko back. I will not train under you!"

"Dear Eva (OoC: goddess that the Elves worship. BiC), what has that dirty, blasted DarkElf done to you Avyuir. You used to b"

"How dare you say that about Ryoko. She is not dirty nor blasted! It is you!"

"You are training to be a SwordSinger, not a BladeDancer! They are too different!"

"What would you know about the differences between BladeDancers and SwordSingers. Ryoko taught me that their almost equal. They have very little differences! The only difference is that we sing and they dance!"

"You will neve learn how to be the perfect SwordSinger if you were taught like that. And I will not teach you! Go find your pitiful DarkElf. Perhaps you can colour your skin grey and join them!"

As Avyuir watched the Elven teacher she felt her stomache turn. Perhaps the Elf was right. No, I will not believe that Elf. Ryoko is right. And I will continue training in the way she taught me. Avyuir contineud to watch the elf walk back to the training grounds.

"Hmp, colour my skin grey and join them. And perhaps you should die and burn in hell for saying what you said about Ryoko" Avyuir mumbled.

That day after training, she went to Lior to try to change Ryoko's mind about not training her for a while. But when she got there, she noticed that Ryoko's Demon's Tunic was missing as were her duel blades. Where could she have gone? Avyuir noticed the piece of parchment on the table. Hello, what do we have here? She quickly unrolled the piece of parchment. It read, "Ryoko, please come see the King imediatly. The great devil beast Antharas has awoken. We need your help to kill the beast." But, I didn't even see her on the way to Aden. Avyuir quickly left Ryoko's house and went back to Aden. Here, she noticed how distressed the King was.

"What are we to do, the beast will not die."

"I do not know Teon, we have lost many warriors. Perhaps, say, we brought a certain Warlord back from banishment?"

"But even if I would, I can't. I have no one who is fast enough to find her."

"Umm, excuse me. But I can go?"

"Avyuir, you are still young though."

"I know, but come on. I was taught by the best BladeDancer here. Ryoko has taught me well. Please, let me find EMIR!!"

"Go Avyuir. You must find her quickly. I have a felling she has gone to Lutia."

"I shall find her!"

After Avyuir had found Emir, Emir quickly returned to Aden. With Emir's help, they quickly defeated Antharas. Avyuir had returned home shortly after the defeat, only to find Emir and Ryoko leaving.

"Ryoko!!! Your leaving!! Please don't!"

"Avyuir, calm down. You'll do fine my dear SwordSinger! Kagan, promise me you will take care of Avyuir."

Of course Ryoko." Kagan saluted.

"And don't worry you two. Your ready now."

"Good luck, to both of you. May you make fabulouse Guards and be even beter than Emir and I"

START: Kagan

Name: Kagan (kay-gan) Arisu
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Human Symbol
Class: Treasure Hunter
Class Description: The Treasure Hunter, known as the "danger that lurks in the darkness", acts according to his own private goals. The Treasure Hunter moves without fear by using Silent Move and is skilled at using Backstab against his enemies to eliminate them from behind.
Class Symbol
Theme Song: Knights of Cydonia by: Muse

Hair Colour: blonde
Eye Colour: brown

Weapons: One dagger and one bow. These weapons are called, Dark Elven Dagger and Elven Bow of Nobility. The dagger is very sharp and deadly. Its slices are precise and accurate. No one wants to fight Kagan when he pulls out his dagger. The bow is very precise as well, so long as the wielder who is aiming the bow, is shooting for a noble intension. This bow will not aim as precisely if the wielder has a dark intention.
Armour: Kagan has one set of armour. Dark Crystal.

Strengths: Kagan has a sturdy build. He is not easily knocked over nor easily hit. He is fast due to being a HawkEye. He fairs in both long ranged and close ranged combat.
Weaknesses: Although Kagan has a sturdy build, being heavier can be a disadvantage. Quick opponents make it harder for him to hit. And even though Kagan fairs well both long and close ranged battles, it takes time to switch out his weapons. Switching out his weapons puts him into a vulnerable position.

Skills:
Bow Skills

Double Shot: Allows two arrows to be quickly fired.

Stun Shot:
Stunning attack that inflicts shock and damage

Burst Shot: Exploding arrows inflict damage on multiple enemies at range.

Lethal Shot: Shoots a potentially deadly arrow. After this arrow is shot, Kagan will not be able to use this skill for at least 10 minutes.

Dagger Skills

Backstab: Attacks an enemy from behind, inflicting a very painful wound.

Deadly Blow: Attempts a potentially deadly attack. Only works if the enemy is crucially weakened.

Mortal Blow: A potentially deadly attack. Will weaken enemy if the enemies back is turned and the attack was not fatal.

Lethal Blow: A potentially deadly attack. After this attack, Kagan will not be able to use this skill for at least 10 minutes.

Apperance:
Kagan1
Kagan2

Sorry for the black and white. I had to do sketches this time. Couldn’t find the right pictures unfortunately
Dark Elven Dagger
Elven Bow of Nobility

Personality: Kagan is mostly laid back just like his mentor, Emir. He is protective over his friends but not to the extent like Emir. He’s usually just himself, cool, calm, and collected. He enjoys having his mentor be Emir although they are completely different. Emir is used to training with heavy weapons while Kagan is used to bows and daggers.

Bio:
Kagan had been training along side Avyuir on how to become a Palace Guard as well. He had been training since he was only 11 though. He had met Avyuir when he had just become a Rouge so he had been training much longer than she had. Although, he loved to play tricks rather than actually train. His first day, he had almost been expelled from the training grounds.

“Kagan, I can’t believe you would do that. Those are real explosives. They could have hurt someone. Your almost 12 and yet you play like a 7 year old.”

“I’m sorry Emir. I thought they were fake. Why would you use the real things? I mean, you said yourself, people could get hurts.”

“That reason is for the dwarf race. They use them. And plus, you knew they were real, because I told you they were. No you were lucky not to be expelled. Come on, let’s get you home. Your parents will be worried—“

Instantly, Emir knew she had said the wrong thing. Kagan had lost his parents when he was only 4. And Emir knew that feeling having lost her parents when she was young.

“Kagan, I am sorry. I merely forgot. Let us get you back to Scryde.”

“No. I don’t want to go back to him. Please Emir, let me stay with you!”

“What happened between you and Scryde? You had told me things had been bad this past week. Something must have escalated to worse things.”

“Yes, but they are things I wish not to talk about. “

“That is fine, let us go home to my house then.”(OoC: Ryoko and Emir had not met each other yet and Emir still lived in Aden at the time. BiC)

Kagan had been solemn the entire way to Emir’s house. Emir had kept glancing back to make sure he was still walking with her.

“Emir, can I ask you something?”

“What is it Kagan?”

“When will I become a Rouge? I want to know. I already have my sights set on what I’m going to take up!”

“Already? But you just started. You can’t just jump into being a Rouge. But if you must know, I’d say about fourteen maybe fifteenish. But that’s only if you stop messing around and actually train. And what do you plan to be?”

“I promise I’ll train harder than before. And I want to be a HawkEye!”

“You always did like using a bow more than a dagger. And you better!”

True to his promise, Kagan had begun taking training much more seriously than before. He still played pranks every now and then, but none such as bad as the explosives prank. He trained extensively, pushing himself more and more. He trained much harder than the rest of his fellow trainees. He became a Rouge when he had just reached the age of fourteen. By the age of sixteen, Kagan had met Avyuir and Emir had met Ryoko. Emir had become a Warlord and Ryoko had become a BladeDancer. Kagan and Avyuir were both the same. They both wanted to reach the same goal, becoming a palace guard before anyone else. And they had nearly achieved there goal. Both Kagan and Avyuir had become a higher class than expected, while the other trainees had just become the middle class.(OoC: what I mean by higher, middle, and lower is beginning(just applied to become a palace guard), intermediate (becoming a Rouge, Warrior, Elven Knight, or Palus Knight.), advanced(Warlord, HawkEye, BladeDancer, SwordSinger) BiC) Having graduated much earlier than the rest, some began to blame Kagan and Avyuir for cheating. But Emir and Ryoko easily denied it and everything went as normal, or it would have, had Emir not been banished. After that had happened, many of the other trainees sneered at them for being “teacher’s pets.” Kagan had nearly had enough of this and was ready to teach them a lesson or two, but Avyuir stopped him. She had told him that it wasn’t right and that if they just ignored the comments, it would go away. Unfortunately, it did not stop. The shred comments got worse and worse. Kagan had finally reached his limit.

“I can’t take this anymore! There all jealous and there such fools! They have no idea of the exertion that we both put up with to make it to this level.”

“Kagan, there is no helping it. Yes they are jealous, but they do have a point. We did graduate much earlier than expected.”

“Avyuir! How could you possibly be so calm at times like these?!? I can hardly stand it!”

“You learn to live with it Kagan. Unfortunate for us, it is. Now would be a good time to have Emir back.”

“We need to find Emir. I’ll go find her, while you find Ryoko. Maybe she can help us, if she isn’t too broken.”

Avyuir had stayed at the palace after Kagan had gone straight to the King ask if he knew as to where he might think Emir may be for she knew that it would be very useless to go now. They still needed Avyuir to help with training sessions. But when he got there, he found the King very distressed.

“Lionna, what am I to do? Antharas has awoken and is on his way to our city. There is no way we will be able to save our city.”

“Send word to Ryoko. She could help. But that is all I can offer Teon.”

“That is what I am to do! But whom to send?”

“How about Kagan, he’s standing right out of our doorway.”

Kagan gulped, had Queen Lionna known he was there the entire time. Kagan slipped into the room silently, under the eyes of the King and Queen.

“Kagan, you are the only one right now who is not training, correct?”

“That is true Lord Teon.”

“Then you must take this piece of parchment to Ryoko.”

King Teon quickly wrote a simple letter to Ryoko stating an attack of emergency. It read

Dear Ryoko,

I am issuing a state of emergency. The demon Antharas has awoken. Please, bring with you your strongest armour and your strongest weapons. We will need your assistance in this battle. May the wind travel with you.

Your Lord
Teon

Kagan quickly delivered the message to the broken Ryoko, only to find that her spirit had not yet been shattered. Ryoko had been quick to jump up and grab her things when she read the letter. Ryoko and Kagan had ran all the way back to the castle, only to learn that Ryoko would be going without the assistance of Kagan or Avyuir.

“But what do you mean I can’t help! Those are our people dying out there!”

“Kagan, I understand where King Teon is coming from. You are still a young one. Please, stay here and guard the younger trainees.”

“But I don’t want to guard them! I want to fight along side you Ryoko!”

“No Kagan. Stay here, please. You would only get in my way.”

“NO! I will not do such a thing! I do not want to feel like I let Emir down!”

“By protecting the younger ones, you will not be letting Emir down. I will be going alone. And Kagan, try to follow me, and I will send you straight back! Understood!”

“Yes Ryoko understood. . . .”

Kagan watched Ryoko leave, only feeling the irony that he had let someone down. Why am I always the one left behind. It’s not fair. They always get the fun.
Later that day, Kagan was dreading over Ryoko. Ryoko should have been back by now. He stood on the lookout that overhangs the palace outer doors. He noticed two figures coming. One was Ryoko, and the other, looked like someone familiar, but who? Who is that? She looks so—Emir! Kagan ran down quickly to help Ryoko, only to find Emir unconscious and a very large wound that was releasing blood, very quickly.

“Kagan, thank goodness you’re here. Help me get Emir to the infirmary.”

“So it is Emir! What happened to her?”

“It’s a long story. (OoC: I’m really not in the mood to do the whole story again. Just look up Clash in the satrap Amphitheater. BiC) I’m sure that Emir will tell you once she wakes up.”

Ryoko, Avyuir, and Kagan had been completely worried about the recovery of Emir. It had taken a week for the warlord to recover finally. Avyuir and Kagan had hoped that Emir would stay, but they found out that both Emir and Ryoko were leaving.

"Ryoko!!! You’re leaving!! Please don't!"

"Avyuir, calm down. You'll do fine my dear SwordSinger! Kagan, promise me you will take care of Avyuir."

Of course Ryoko." Kagan saluted.

"And don't worry you two. You’re ready now."

"Good luck, to both of you. May you make fabulous guards and be even better than Emir and I!”

Kagan had continue training the way Emir had taught him. He even started training some young trainees. Kagan had accepted the fact that he didn’t need Emir for everything. And that even he, the worst prankster for his time, could become a great guard.

Even though Lutai is an ice wolf, she is also a holy wolf. Since she travels with an angel, she was granted the holy powers.(these are nothing special, just the power to repent evil lol) Making Lutai, one part of a wolf, the holy side.

Armour: She has no armour at all. She simple wears a piece of cloth that covers her chest and pelvis. She has a gold circlet and a gold armlet. The gold circlet was given to her as a birthday present from her father. The gold armlet she found. They are for apperance only.

Strengths: Her strengths are ice. She can minupulate the ice to do her battles for her. The ice is blistering cold and can be used almost everywhere. She is strong against, earth, rock, ground, and steel elements.
Weaknesses: Fire. Fire is her main weakness. Her ice powers are greatly cut. She cannot conjure ice in places of extreme heat. (mainly volcanoes.) She hates the sight of fire and believes it is the worst element. She also can not stand electricity. Because electricity is heated from thermal energy it is very hot. Also, if her wings are struck she becomes weaker.

Skills:

Blizzard
- conjures a very powerful snow storm that can freeze most opponents.

Winter Night- creates a makeshift night that is cold like a winters night. Increases ice powers.

Snowy Wind- Kinda like hail but does not hit as hard. It can nearly kill someone if they stay in the freezing wind for too long.

Icicle Storm- Rains down a shower of sharp icicles that pierce the skin.

Ice Spear- Conjures a long make shift ice spear that is freezing cold to anyone besides Lyia.

Ice Heal- Heals any person/animal she wishes with a chilling sooth.

Now, since she is an angel, that makes her holy. But, she only has one holy attack.

Ultima- This is Lyia only holy attack, making it the most powerful of her attacks. Cleanses the area of all dark entities within a 1/2 mile radius, but afterwords, she is greatly weakened.

Apperance:
Lyia
Ice Mace
Lutai
Ice Spear
Cape

Personality: Lyia is mostly just a layed back person. She likes to travel with her wolf and enjoys other peoples company. She does get mad if people try to hurt her, her wolf, or her friends. She likes cold places and dislikes volcanoes. Even though she is an ice angel, she feels the most serene in forests.

Bio: Lyia was once among the Angels of Einhasad. Her father was the King of Einhasad. She usually did not get in trouble, but on a certain day, she was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Lyia, I can not believe you would steal a sacred ice scroll. I know that your an ice angel, but to steal a secread treasure. That is a large crime!"

"But father, I did not steal the scroll. I was chasing the person who stole it! Please hear me out!"

"I am sorry Lyia. I would like to believe you, but we have no evidence that is was not you."

"Father please! It was Helena. She-"

"Helena! You know she is not permitted beyond the gates! You lie Lyia!"

"Father please, I beg of you, I am not lieing! I saw the devil black winged angel herself!"

"I will not listen to your lies! You are forever an outcast! Leave Einhasad now!"

"But where am I to go? there is no other place but Einhasad for angels!"

"You will go to the mortal realm!"

Lyia was in shock. The mortal realm. She couldn't believe it. She flew out of there as fast as she could. Tears streaming down her face. She found her self flying to her sacred hideout. She quickly grabbed the things she needed and left. If they didn't want her then she didn't want them either! She flew to the portal to the mortal realm. Without someon keeping the portal open, there was no way she would be able to come back unless someone found her and brought her back. She did not care, she was leaving. Good-bye my beautiful home. That day was the last day any of the angels ever saw her.

Lyia found it to be much harder in the mortal realm. She was always hiding because many people tried to kill her. She tried to act like a mortal but her wings made her stand out to much. Every time she had tried to hid them, they always found a way to appear. She finally decided to flee to the most coldest northernest regions. Her is where she had found Lutai.

The day she found Lutai was just another day to Lyia. It was cold, just the way she liked it. No mortals were there, another way she liked it. Her mace was cold and sharp. The only thing that was annoying her was the wolves howling. Jeez, I come here for peace and quiet and what do I get, a pack of wolves howling through the night. She looked out into the snowy day and saw the wolves. A pack of about eight to ten. Jeez, so thats why there able to make all the noise. As she looked at the way the pack had come from, she noticed a straggler. And she saw why. It was a young pup and had a very large wound. She couldn't help but feel sorry for it. She decided to go and help the pup. But when she got near it, it tried to attack her. She easily evaded the young pup and it fell into the snow.

"Feisty one aren't you."

But she saw that it did not get up after the attack. It must be more hurt than I thought. She easily picked it up and noticed how light it was, it definitly had not been eating properly. She easily flew back to the cave in which she had been staying in. She got a fire going much to her dismay amd put the pup close to the warmth.

"Ice Heal"

A small light blue aura appeared around her hand and she touched the wound. The young pup cried out but got use to the chilly touch. Soon enough, the would healed and the pup awoke. It jumped up in alarm when it first saw Lyia, but calmed down as Lyia handed it some meat. The young wolf pup quickly ate the meat, much faster than Lyia had expected.

"Slow down there. You could choke."

Like it can understand me, its an animal. Lyia continued to watch the pup. Perhaps it would stay with her and keep her company.

"Lutai. That is what I am going to call you. Lutai."

START: Lilith

Name: Lilith Shadoweaver
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Race: Demon
Theme Song: IIEEE by: Tori Amos

Weapons: A dark sword named Zunta. Zunta can destroy barriers created from holy entities. Lilith also has a black wolf named Keiba.

Keiba (key-bah): Keiba is the wolf of darkness. Making him, the second part of a wolf, the dark side. (refer to Lyia then scroll down to Lutai) Keiba has the ability to slip into the shadows, and nearly vanish. He is an exceptional fighter. He also has the ability to summon the darkness, increasing his strength.

Armour: She wears a purple cloth that covers very little of her body. She tends to dislike wearing cloth that covers her body. Her wings also act as a shield to protect her.

Strengths: Lilith’s dark entities are very strong. She can destroy most holy and psychic. She can shred them to pieces. Also, her skills are increased at night.
Weaknesses: Lilith hates the sunlight. Lilith is greatly weakened in the daylight. Her powers are the greatest at night, and they are neutral during twilight. Holy attacks have a great affect on Lilith, but her dark attacks have a great affect on holy entities.

Skills:

Dark Orb: Creates a ball of dark energy that is fired at the enemy.

Dark Shield: Covers her wings in a dark protective aura when she uses her wings to shield herself.

Dark Wing: A dark aura surrounds the wing/wings making a razor sharp attack.

Apocalypse: Lilith’s most devastating skill. A giant wave of dark energy that obliterates everything within a half mile radius. But after this attack, she is at great risk due to all of her energy being drained from this attack. If this move is used to much, she can and will die.

Appearance:
Lilith
Keiba
Zunta

Personality: Lilith is a dark being of sorts. She once was an angel, but after a certain crime, she was banished. She despises all angels, and wishes that they would all just die. She also see's mortals as inferior beings.

Bio: Lilith once was a beautiful angel. Beautiful as they come. But she had a dark heart. She hated the holy magic and skills and only wanted to train in the dark arts. Her wish came true on day when she found a demon, on the outskirts of the city, testing her dark attributes. A sly smile came to her face, this would be the perfect oppertunity. She silently glided down to the demon.

"Angel! What are you doing here?" The demon spat.

"I have come to learn how to be a dark master. Teach me, will you not."

"Hmm, I have never had an angel pupil before. Tell me girl, what is your name?"

"It is Helena. But I dispise that name! Give me a name only fit for the darkness that I will learn."

"Alright then, Helena, you shall be named, hmm a name for one such as you. Ah, I have one, Lilith. You are now Lilith. But I must warn you. Once you learn the dark arts, you will be forever transformed. Your wings will change, as will your body. Do you still want to learn?"

"I want to be rid of this holy body. I want to feel dark and dirty. Please teach me!"

"Once you are on the road to the darkness, there is no turning back. And if you are caught, you will be banished. But let us begin."

As Lilith trained, her wings lost there white shine and softness. The feathers changed. Slowly but shurely, she was turning into a demon. And she loved the feeling, but one day, she was caught and banished to the mortal realm. She would stay there forever. But Lilith did not care, in the mortal realm, no one could stop here. She would use the mortals to do here biding, and those who resisted, were killed. She was a tyrant of sorts, and everyone knew it. But no one resisted. The only humans, who did not mind her, where her closest guards. They were treated fairly, they got food, drink, and sleep.

Not a day went by that Lilith did not enjoy watching the mortals suffer. But eventually, she did begin to grow weary of it. But an interesting day came to her, the day she met Keiba. The wolf had a dark aura, close to hers. It was traveling her direction, and she had not realized it was an animal. She thought it was another demon. Until she met the wolf, head on.

“A wolf, how odd. Wolves don’t have such an aura, unless they were once owned by a demon. This ones demon, must have died recently.”

Lilith looked straight into the eyes of the wolf, and how cold and heartless they were. And as she continued starring into them, a recent event came to mind. The day she had met the angel, and her wolf.

“This wolf, could it be the other half the angel was talking about. The half of the wolf, they are two wolves. One black, one white. The black on has the dark aura, the white one has the holy aura. Combined they make an ultimate force, but the two wolves were separated long ago.”

Those were the angel’s words. She had sensed Liliths aura, and figured it was the wolfs. Lucky for the angel, Lilith had not felt like destroying her, that day anyway.

Lilith decided to keep the wolf, it may prove itself to her. And perhaps, this wolf was the other half. The dark half. The next time Lilith met that angel, she would destroy her. And luckily for Lilith, that day came, quickly.

The angel had obviously felt the second dark aura. It was mingled with Liliths, but it was there. The angel had flown directly to Lilith, just as Lilith had wanted her too.

“So, the angel has come looking for the wolf I presume.”

“You found the wolf, ehh demon.”

“You would be wise to hold your tongue, I was once an angel like yourself.”

“I know you were, Lilith. I’m not stupid.”

“Apparently not, if you know who I am. Now the question is, who are you angel?”

“Hmp, I’m Lyia. And I was falsely accused for your actions.”

“Oh, that was you. The one who was accused for stealing what I had stolen. You got the second scroll yes, but I still have the one I was truly after.”

“You stole another one. How not surprising. Let me guess, you stole a scroll of the dark arts, and stole a scroll of the ice arts, so I would get banished.”

“You are a smart one that you are Lyia.”

“Of course I am. But then again, who doesn’t know your actions. Everyone knows what you did to become who you are now, Helena.”

Liliths face darkened, she had not been called that for years. And never again, would she hear that name. She was no longer that wretched thing she once was. She was Lilith, a demon of darkness. Helena was a thing of the past, and would stay in the past, forever.

“You are to never say that name again. And I will personally see to it that you are the last angel, to every see me!”

A ball of dark energy formed in Liliths hand, she was going to kill this angel.

“Prepare to die!”

“You are the one who is going to die!”

Lilith used her ball of dark energy on Lyia, and there cataclasmatic fight had begun. There fight lasted for days. Everything was destroyed, woods, mountains, animals, people, whole cities. Nothing stood up against there attacks. They approached the fifth day of there battle, and only two words were uttered that day.

“Apocalypse!”

“Ultima!”

The dark and holy aura clashed with each other, and the force was great. Lyia and Lilith were shot away from each other. Far away from each other. But they could not continue there fight. There energy was drained, they would be lucky if they survived. The last attack used by both, Apocalypse and Ultima had drained there bodies of what energy was left. But both survived, they would finish each other off, no matter the cost. They would continue there fight, in another time.

“You got lucky Lyia, I would have killed you easily.”

After those words were said, Lilith slept, feeling that she now had something to do. Her final goal, would be to destroy Lyia.

Lyia could feel Lilith’s aura was weakened. But she was exhausted herself.

“I swear to you Lilith, I will destroy you and regain my honor. If nothing, it will be the last thing I do.”

Weapons: Her only weapons in her dragon form are her claws, teeth, and fire. When she is unmorphed, she has a sword which is quite light, but as strong as dragon claws.

Weaknesses: When Akita morphs, she is in a state of vulnerability. If she is struck while in the processes of morphing, she goes into a state of shock and passes out. If she is struck hard, she could possibly die. It also takes time for her to morph into her dragon form.

Appearance: Akita looks like your normal 23 year old. Except when she turns into a dragon!
Human Form
Dragon Form

Personality: Akita has a most relaxed personality. Well, for a Dragon Kin anyway. Most Dragon Kin have fiery attitudes and are most of the time, quite stubborn. But Akita has quiet a mellow personality. Rarely does she get into a fight about something, unlike her parents and siblings. Some might say she isn’t a Dragon Kin, until she proves them wrong.

Bio: Akita was born in the grand port of Lemar. While she was growing up, Akita learned much of the Blue Dragon. But she knew little of the rest. When she was young, she had asked her mother of the different kinds of dragon species there were.

“Akita, must you ask me this now? The dragon festival is approaching faster every single day.”

“But mom?!? This is when I should know about all of the dragon kin!!”

“Fine . . . sit down and we’ll talk. But first, let me grab some tea.”

Akita’s mother was a Sapphire Kin. She had been touched by the most serene of all dragons, the Blue Dragon. Because they are so serene, they are often called the Sapphire Dragons or Kin’s.

“There are many. I will begin with the colours of each. The green dragon, the red dragon, the blue dragon, the blood dragon, the yellow dragon, the purple dragon, and the white dragon.”

“Now, they each represent a gem, or stone of there tribe. The blue dragon represents the sapphire.”

“Can you show me what these stones look like?”

“Hmm, I might have some pieces of there stones. . . . . . . . . . . ah yes, here they are.”

“Now, as I was saying, the blue dragons represent the sapphire. The red dragons represent the ruby. The yellow dragons represent the gold topaz. The green dragons represent the emerald. The blood dragons represent the garnet. The purple dragons represent the amethyst. And the white dragons represent the diamond.”

“Wow, so many. But how do we all live together?”

“That is a tale for another day Akita. I have to finish preparations for the festival. If you really really want to know now, which I know you do, go see the old historian of mythological dragons of the past.”

“Old whaty of the what and the who??”

“The old historian, by the library. He knows almost everything about the Dragon Kins. He acts like he’s been there since the beginning of time, which might be possible considering how old he is.”

Akita jumped down from her chair. She was eager to learn more of the Dragon Kin's history. She ran down to the old historian, who was probably the oldest thing alive in the town. She walked into the old librarians home. It smelt of musty books and old scrolls. He greeted her with a weak voice. She could tell that his hour glass, was running out of sand.

“I hope I’m not bothering you or anything.”

“Certainly not young child. What can I do for ye?”

Lyia looked at him. She hated being called child. But she understood where he was coming from, he had to be at least over tens of thousands of years old. “Nothing much. I just want to learn more about the Dragon Kins.”

“Ahh, will you be setting out anytime soon to find your special dragon? Have you any in mind?”

“My mom doesn’t want me to be a sapphire, and neither do I. I think I want to be either a emerald or a garnet.”

The librarian sighed. “Your mother has taught you of these tribes has she not?”

“Well yes, but how did you know?”

“I’m assuming she taught you of the ruby, the topaz, the amethyst, and the diamond as well?”

“Well yes."

"But there is another. The black dragon, or the Obsidian. But they are a most distructive species. Not many Dragon Kin are able to get an Obsidian to touch them.”

Hmm, a black dragon huh. This should be most interesting. Akita looked at the old man. He was wise, but she was curious as to why her mother had not told her of the black dragons. “Tell me more please.”

“Well then, let me put on a pot of tea first, this is going to be a long story.” The old man walked over to his kettle, and easily set it over an open flame. “Now, your mother has taught you of the races. I shall teach you of each of the races leaders. The Sapphire is Ashura(ah-sure-ah). The Emerald is Tempest. The Ruby is, well most people don't know the name, so most call him Hellstorm but his true name is Firebrand. The Diamond is Sentinel . The Topaz is Alecan(ah-lay-can). The Amethyst is Daichym(day-shm). The Garnet is Draconis. And the Obsidian is Nemesis(nem-i-sis).

And so Akita learned. She learned of each festival the different tribes had. And of the grand festival where all of the dragons came and conversed with each other. She learned of the tribe borders. She knew each of the grand cities that each different dragon tribe had. Each city, with a magnificent stone in the center of it, keeping the city brimming with life of each tribe. Akita gathered as much information as she could. For after the festival of the Sapphire, she would set out to find her dragon, and become a true Dragon Kin. The festival is tomorrow, perhaps it would be best if I were to be getting home. Mom will need help tomorrow. Man, why is she always the one who sets up the Festival of the Sapphire. . .

“I should be getting home. The hour is late and the Festival is tomorrow.”

“Ahh yes, the Festival. It has come so fast this year. Come see me any time young one if you wish to learn more.”

“I will be back most definitely.”

“Good, The company is quite nice.”

Akita laughed. This old man was a great help. She said good bye and ran to her home. She heard her mother running around inside. Akita knew why, those last minute clean up things. She walked in the door.

“Mom, why did you wait till last minute to clean things up?”

“Oh Akita, your home! And I don’t wait till last minute. Last minute would be doing this a half hour before sun rise.”

“Whatever mom. Just get some sleep soon. The Festival takes a lot out on you.”

--------------------

The next day, Akita woke up early. There was no sleeping in on this day. Her mother was already up. Everything had been moved out of the house and down to the Sapphire Fair Grounds where the Festival of the Sapphire was to take place.

“Mornin mom.”

“Oh, good morning Akita. Hurry and get ready. The festival will begin soon.”

Akita walked into her bathroom. And a cold shiver ran down her spine. Something bad is going to happen. I can feel it. Akita began getting ready none the less. She grabbed her blue gown she had bought a few weeks before the festival. A brilliant sapphire blue, perfect for the festival. Akita was running towards the kitchen when her mother yelled for her.

“Akita! Hurry up! You’re so slow.”

“I’m comin mom! Sheesh give me a break!”

“You know how important this festival is to the Kingdom of Sapphire!”

“Yea yea, let’s go then!”

Akita and her mother were the first to arrive at the fair grounds. The sun had barely risen over the ocean horizon. Akita helped her mother set up the decorations and made sure the lights were working.

“All right mom. Everything’s a-ok over here.”

“Good. That makes the last of it. We’re ready for the festival now.”

The other festival helpers had arrived soon after Akita and her mother had. They helped set up the decorations and began setting up their stations in the fair.

“Well, today looks like another great day for a festival, don’t you think Janice.” (ooc: here mothers name is Janice[sha-neece] bic: )

“You don’t want to curse us Lady Ashura.”

“Hey mom, can I talk to you real quickly?”

“Of course, what is it?”

“Privatly.”

Akita’s mother walked over to her. “What is it Akita?”

“This morning I had a feeling. Something bad is going to happen today.”

“Well now, you can’t let a little superstition ruin your day Akita. Relax and enjoy. It’s the time of the festival.”

“I hope yo-“ A loud screech cut Akita off. Her suspision had proven right. Obsidians had attacked. There were rumors of black dragons destroying festivals, but no one paid attention to the rumors, they were just rumors.

“Mom run! Obsidians are attacking!”

“Black Dragons?!? Here? That’s not possible, there supposed to be extinct!”

“Well there not! Now RUN!”

“But what about you?!? You could get hurt!”

“JUST GO MOM!”

Akita ran. She was looking for something she could use as a weapon. And she found it. A sword with a gold hilt. This will have to do for now! To Akita’s surprise, it was a real sword, not a wooden sword she was expecting.

By now, most of festival was burned to the ground. Sapphire’s had engaged talons with the Obsidian’s. Akita ran, but her dress was slowing her down.

“Sorry mom, but I gotta do what I gotta do.” Akita ripped the bottom part of her dress, half way up her thighs. It made it easier for her to run. She easily jumped onto the top of a large building. With sword in hand, she was going to engage the lead dragon. Akita jumped into the air, and dived on the nearest dragon. However, the Obsidian easily evaded her, and laughed as she missed. The dragon obviously looked at its leader, the largest of the Obsidians. The one they called Nemesis. Akita looked at the large dragon, and she froze. He was of massive stature, and his gaze petrified her body. Her mind telling her to move, but her body wouldn’t respond. The dragon laughed, and then spoke to her.

“So, you are a Sapphire child? How pitiful. Morph, show me something worth fighting.

“I-I can’t. I’m no- no- not a fu-ful-full Dra-drago-dragon K-ki-kin yet.” Get it together Akita. Snap out of it!

The massive Obsidian looked her down. What an easy prey this would be. Another dragon for his tribe. “Asura, you’ve been waiting for someone, knows your chance.”

A smaller Obsidian approached Akita. Akita feared for what it would do to her. What is it going to do, this is not good.

A long whisker flowed from the dragon, and touched Akita on the forehead. A mind numbing pain went through her body. Her eyes rolled back into her head. Her mind was spinning. She felt like she was going to die. Whats happening to me? I’m going to die! This dragon is going to kill me!

As she thought this, the dragon receaded. As it did, the pain also receaded, but the pain over took her body, and she went cold.

------------------------------

Akita woke to find herself in her bed. She tried to get up, but she had a head rush and laiyed back down. Her mother walked in as she awoke.

“Oh thank the sapphires you’re alive Akita! I was so worried. When I saw that dragon touch you, and then you passing out, I thought the dragon had killed you! But your alive and that’s all that matters!”

“Ugh, how long have I been out?”

“Almost a week Akita. But I hate to be the bearer of bad news Akita.”

“Whats wrong? What happened? No one died when the Obsidians attacked did they?”

“No, not that. But that Obsidian did touch your right Akita?”

“Yes. . . Why?”

“It seems, since you were not touched by a dragon, that Obsidian turned you into an Obsidian. You are now a Dragon Kin, but with a price. You will be feared because of the Obsidian blood in you.”

Tears rolled down Akita’s face. She had not wanted this. “Why, why did this happen to me?!?”

“It is your fate. I knew this would come to pass. Though, I tried so hard to prevent it.”

“Prevent it, how?”

“When you were born, the Oracles came to me. They told me of your future, and how you would be feared, for you would transform into an Obsidian. That’s why I did not tell you. I feared it would spike interest in you. And that you would want to go and find the Obsidians, and become one. I am soooo sorry this happened to you.”

“It is not your fault momey.”

“Oh Akitana.” (OoC: momey is what akita used to call her mother when she was very young and Akitana is Akita’s child name or used when she is in trouble. BiC: )

“Momey, I will be leaving soon. I will take my revenge on the Obsidians, and Nemesis. He will pay.” Akita felt a burning desire in her to take revenge. But she did not know where they lived, or where the Obsidian Kingdom was. Akita had not left the Sapphire Kingdom once. “But I need direction into Obsidian territory.”

“Akitana, please, do not do this.”

“I must momey.”

“Fine. Obsidian Kingdom or Territory as we mostly know it, lay in the deepest canyon of Shadow Hills. Be careful Akita. You will travel through Emerald, Garnet, and Diamond before you reach the outskirts of the Territory. Be careful Akita.”

Akita gathered her things. She would leave tomorrow, before the sun had risen.

“Akita, you are now a Dragon Kin. You have the power to morph, but it is a curse for you. Morphing into an Obsidian is not the best choice for a Dragon Kin.”

“I know Mother.”

“I advise you to practice morphing on your way to the kingdom of Obsidian. You will need the powers of Asura to help you defeat Nemesis.”

“How do you know the name of the dragon who touched me?”

“He was once was a friend. Now, he is an enemy to me. He cursed you, my daughter.”

“So I see. I will leave tomorrow Mother.”

“Than so be it. Good-Bye my daughter. And good luck.”

“I’m not leaving yet mom.”

“I know, but I may not see you tomorrow.”

Now Introducing Reiha!

Start: Reiha

Name: Reiha of the Flame Sword (Reiha[ray-hah]Ayame [eye-ahh-may])
Age: 20
Race: Human/Soul Reaper
Eye Colour: Red
Hair Colour: Red
Theme Song:Dance With the Devil by: Breaking Benjamin

Weapons: Reiha carries a long katana named Shakugan which is her Zanpakuto. This katana is light, the blade sharp, and its movement swift.
Armor: Reiha has no armor. All she wears is a long black coat, a black shirt or a white shirt, a black skirt, and black leggings.(see description for better idea!) If you noticed, she doesn’t where the traditional Soul Reaper clothing

Strengths: Reiha is very swift in her movements. She is a master swordsman or swordswoman. Her katana is light giving her movement a given advantage. She is very agile and only master swords men can even come remotely close to hitting her.
Weaknesses: Although Reiha is agile, she is a girl and has a smaller frame then men. She can be easily hurt by strong blows to her midsection. Any strong blow can knock her off her feet. Although, it may be extremely hard for someone to land a blow on something they can’t see, let alone catch.

Skills:

Shikai: This is the first spell obtained by Soul Reapers. It is used to defeat evil spirits and rivals. This spell uses Spiritual Pressure to disable a foe however like Ban Kai, it has a set limit though it can be used much longer than Ban Kai. The more Spiritual Pressure, the longer and stronger the Shikai. Reiha’s Shikai is flames in the shapes of flowers swirling around her body and blade in which she can use both to her will.

Ban Kai: This is a powerful spell that only high level soul reapers can use. This spell draws out the soul within the Zanpakuto and unleashes its strength. However, there is a risk to using this skill, once they use Ban Kai, they have an almost set time limit for how long they can use it, and once that time limit is up, the wielder goes back to normal. In doing so, the wielder becomes very weakened, and this is when most Soul Reapers die. The stronger the Soul Reaper, the longer the time limit. When Reiha calls upon her Ban Kai, fire swirls around her body and forms a massive flaming phoenix. With its wings outstretched, this winged creature takes flight, burning everything in its path, and leaving nothing but soot and ash of her enemies.

Description:
Reiha1
Reiha2
Reiha3
Reiha4

Personality: Reiha has a very fiery personality, she doesn’t let anything stand in her way. This sometimes gets her into trouble because since she is so hot-headed she doesn’t know when to back down. She has few friends, perhaps one or two that know her slightly. She is a very good asset in battles though, her swiftness with her blade and the sharpness of her movements make her a master in the art of battle.

Bio: Was just a normal day for her. But then again, what was normal to her. She was a strange child, even when she was of younger age. She never had many friends, some looked at her oddly, and some just didn’t look at her at all. Perhaps this is why she is the way that she is. Perhaps this is why, she is Reiha Ayame.

Reiha was born in a small little fishing village. Her father was a fisherman, and her mother, well her mother had recently grown ill and couldn’t go to work. She had an illness that was slowly killing her. Reiha was young when her mother had fallen ill, so she didn’t fully understand what was happening. Her older sister Sayuri knew what was happening, but her father had told her not to tell Reiha about the pain their mother was in. Reiha was only six back then, so it was only natural that she didn’t understand, but she was smart. She knew when she would go and see mother, and when she should leave her alone.

Reiha’s mother had always been kind and gentle. She had a soothing voice that, from what Reiha could see, calmed even the most vicious of storms. She never raised her voice, never got angry, never seemed to even get irritated. She had light blue coloured eyes that were serene and beautiful to look at. Her mother was of the water element, cool and calm and graceful.

Reiha’s father on the other hand was slightly stubborn, and didn’t like to give up. His voice was gruff and scratchy, like when someone has a sore throat. But he had gentle eyes, eyes of a caring man. His eyes were a soft brown colour with a bit of amber in them. Occasionally he raised his voice at Reiha or Sayuri, but he never truly got mad at them. He was the earth element for he was strong and sturdy. But in being the earth element, he did sometimes butt heads with Reiha, since she was of the fire element.

Her sister Sayuri was a sweet girl, but she tended to do things that seemed on accident, like making food, she made it look like the food just cooked itself. Reiha’s sister was a bit spastic at times, Sayuri seemed to jump out of her skin at the slightest scare, and perhaps it was just her element. Sayuri was of the wind element, which made her jumpy and jittery and also quiet energetic.

When Reiha’s mother died, her small family went into turmoil. Her father became an empty shell of a man, and her sister busied herself throughout the day that any time Reiha wanted anything, her sister was too tired to do it. Reiha was ten when this happened, so she had learned that her mother was destined to die. She was destined to die, I know this, but I still feel the terrible dread of it. . . Reiha went through this same routine everyday for a couple of years, however, when she was thirteen, she decided that that was the time to get out. Her father had become worse, he was an empty shell that did nothing, he barely even ate. Her sister was so tired, that she never had the energy to do anything. Reiha’s fiery nature led her to this decision, being as she is one that needs to be doing something, because when someone of the fire element is bored, their destructiveness comes out.

Reiha looked to the sky, remembering her family saddened her, and how she left them. She did it secretively, running away in the dead of night while everyone was sleeping. But she figured it had been the right decision.

Reiha packed her things swiftly, she was leaving her small home, and the memories of the life she had lived here. The good memories and the bad ones, she was leaving them both, she knew if she retained those memories, she would be struck with homesickness, and she didn’t need that. She grabbed her small katana, it was nothing special, just a steel blade with a hilt and it actually wasn’t even hers.

The night was dark, the moon an eerie pale sliver of a crescent. She rushed out of her small home quickly and silently, not disturbing anyone. Her steps quick and agile, yet something didn’t feel right. The air was stale and the presence of something sinister was all around her. This night is strange, it’s ominous. Is it telling me to return? No, I must keep going. She felt a blade slip in front of her throat, and she almost let out a scream, it was the last thing she saw before complete and utter blackness.

Reiha’s eyes widened at this past thought it was how she became what she was, or what led her on her way to becoming what she was . . .

Reiha stirred slightly, she was cold, no she was beyond cold, she was frigid and numb. She couldn’t move her body, and she didn’t know why. She felt like she was tied up, but she heard a few voices.

“Looks like she’s coming around.”

“Let her have some space Untah!”

“Mimori go get some water for her”

“Okay Satsu.”

Reiha’s eyes opened slowly, the voices were warm, not cold like she had expected. She looked around, the room was somewhat run down, but it had a “homey” feel to it. She understood why she couldn’t move, for she had on about fifty pounds of blankets on her. But she couldn’t understand why she was so cold.

“Welcome to the Soul Society, I am Satsu. Who are you?” The woman named Satsu had warm, caring eyes of the colour green. Her long black hair was shinning beautiful if the light streaming down from the window, and her face was a soft round shape.

“I’m . . . . I’m Reiha . . . why am I so cold?”

“That because your dead!”

“Untah! Get out of here!”

Dead? There was no way. How could she be dead, where was she. This place was so strange, it was not bleak like her hometown but brightly coloured.

“Why does he say that I am dead?”

Satsu turned back to Reiha, unsure of what to say. “Well you see Reiha . . . you were killed but you were saved by what we call Soul Reapers. The Soul Reaper sent you here, to the Soul Society, where the souls of the dead and the Soul Reapers live. So . . . you are unfortunately dead Reiha . . .”

Reiha couldn’t believe her ears?!? She hadn’t even left her village, she had only ventured a little ways from her home, and she was killed! What would become of her father and sister when they found out she was dead.

“Here is some water. I’m Mimori.” Mimori was a short girl, probably around Reiha’s age. She had short brown hair and amber eyes. She had a small smile but a big heart and she was very kind.

“And I’m Untah!” Untah had spiky blonde hair, and he was pretty arrogant. Though he was kind hearted and stood up for his friends in the time of need. But he was pretty blunt about things.

“So I’m dead . . . are you all dead?” Reiha’s hands trembled a bit, she was afraid to accept the fact that she was dead.

“Yes we all are. We are souls in the Soul Society where the Soul Reapers protect us.”

“Yeah we found you on the outskirts of the society, you looked pretty beat up, and so we brought you here.”

“I carried you back all by myself haha”

Reiha looked at these people, they were strange but welcoming and funny. Although, she was dead, it almost didn’t feel like she was dead. Soul Reapers, how interesting . . .

“Will you tell me more about Soul Reapers miss Satsu?”

“Since you just arrived here, I suppose you wouldn’t know. Soul Reapers are dead souls just like us, however they have a higher concentration of Spiritual Pressure.”

Satsu told Reiha of the Soul Reapers. They were defenders of the Soul Society and also of the living world. She told of how Soul Reapers travel to the human world in order to escort lost souls to the Soul Society and also to destroy the evil Hollows. She told Reiha about how there were twelve elite squads, each with their own individual responsibilities. She also told Reiha about their weapons, the Zanpakuto, and how each Zanpakuto is warped to the Soul Reaper’s Spiritual Pressure. The more Spiritual Pressure, the larger the Zanpakuto. Reiha found this all quiet fascinating, and wondered if she had the ability to become a Soul Reaper.

“Tell me Miss Satsu . . . Can anyone become a Soul Reaper?”

“You can stop calling me miss, Reiha. And no, not just anyone, only people with the ability to manifest their own Spiritual Pressure is qualified to become a Soul Reaper. But that’s just to get into the academy.”

“What is Spiritual Pressure, and how does a person manifest it?”

“Spiritual Pressure is similar to say a person’s strength. However it involves the mind and spirit instead of body and muscle. Spiritual Pressure is pretty much the presence someone emits when they are around other people, like a person’s vibe. If a person has strong Spiritual Pressure, you can feel it nearly radiating off of them, if a person has weak Spiritual Pressure, then not so much. Also, the Spiritual Pressure acts the way a person does, if the person is good, then they use their Spiritual Pressure in good ways, and they are evil, then of course they will use it in a bad way. A person who is evil and uses Spiritual Pressure is a threat to the Soul Society and its inhabitants and therefore must either be destroyed or detained.”

The academy . . . how interesting this Soul Society place is.

“Once you get in the academy, you learn the spells of a Soul Reaper and eventually, you take a large test that qualifies you to become eligible to become a Soul Reaper, fail the test, and you are sent back to the classes where you scored the lowest on the test.”

“Yeah, but is a disgrace to fail, so usually either everyone passes, or anyone who fails disappears.”

“Satsu, how do you get into the academy?”

“Well, once a year they have trials where you test into the academy. The trials change every year, but they are centered around whether or not you can manifest your Spiritual Pressure, a written test and a physical exam. Now from what I’ve heard, there are pretty tough. And I believe you have to be at least sixteen”

Damn. That was the only thing that came to mind. Reiha was only twelve, but there was a benefit to this, she could train for the next four years in order to get accepted in the academy.

“Reiha, you aren’t thinking about training to join the academy, are you?”

“I am Satsu, this whole Soul Reaper thing interests me, and I want to give it a try.”

Satsu sighed, this girl was a fiery spirit. “Well, it’s a good thing all of us found you. I’m a retired Soul Reaper, and I’m training Untah and Mimori to get accepted into the academy as well, I don’t think having a third would be bad.”

Reiha was amazed at this, she was to be trained under a Soul Reaper veteran. A person who knew what it was like, and who had gone through all of the trials of becoming a Soul Reaper.

“But you should rest tonight, your body pretty much just went through hell. You’re probably feeling cold, and that’s natural, so rest young Reiha, and tomorrow we’ll start your training.”

Reiha couldn’t help but remember Satsu’s warm face. She also remembered Unta’s kiddy smile and Mimori’s sincerity. They had taken in a complete stranger, a person whom they didn’t know, and they had helped her along her path. Reiha started out the window, the sun warming her face, now that she looked back on it, if she had not died back then, she would still feel trapped, trapped in the world of the living.

“Reiha . . .Reiha . . . . REIHA!!!”

Reiha’s eyes snapped open. “What Untah, what is it?”

“Did you forget?!? Today’s the day Reiha! And we don’t want to be late!”

Reiha practically flew out of bed and threw on her clothes simultaneously. Today was the day, she was sixteen now, and all those four year of hard training with Satsu were about to payoff. It was the day of the academy trials, and she and Untah were to test their. Mimori was not coming with them, for Satsu felt that she was not ready and that Mimori was also only fourteen. Reiha brushed her red hair quickly and washed her face. She also prepared a quick breakfast for herself and Untah, it was a light breakfast, but it would keep them going throughout their tests.

“Good luck to the both of you! And keep in mind, these tests are very serious, so take them seriously!”

“Of course Satsu!”

Reiha and Untah downed their breakfast and rushed out the door as quick as they could. Luckily, the academy wasn’t too far from their home, but they still ran as quickly as they could. By the time they got there, both of they were out of a breath. They stopped for a moment to regain their breath and then walked up to the boards that listed their names. They had registered a few months prior to the academy’s testing date and searched for their names on the large board.

“I found mine Reiha, have you found yours?”

“Hang on Untah . . . I’m still searching . . . ahh, I found it!”

“What are you doing first? I’m to have the physical portion first.”

“I get the hardest one first . . . I’ve got to show them I can manifest my Spiritual Pressure.”

“Well, you’re good at it Reiha, better than I am anyways. I guess I’ll see you at the break then.”

“Yeah, do we have the written portion at the same time Unta?”

“Looks like it, so you have your physical last ehh?”

“Yeah . . . that’s going to be fun . . . not.”

“Good luck Reiha.”

“You too Unta!”

Reiha and Unta ran their separate ways, but they did not realize that in going their separate ways, they would be separated throughout their entire training.

Reiha realized she had not seen Satsu, Mimori, or Unta in quiet a while, she had been to busy with her duties as lieutenant of her squad. Perhaps I should go visit them one of these days . . .

“Reiha Ayame! It is your turn, show us your Spiritual Pressure!”

Reiha walked forward into the white chalked circle, watching all of the judges peering at her intensely. She held out her right hand, and began to focus all of her energy into manifesting her Spiritual Pressure. She closed her eyes, and began to focus all of her power. . . Focus the mind, without a focused mind you will loose all concentration. Focus on what you want, if you do not focus how do you expect to get it. Focus on your power, focus on bringing it to reality! Reiha’s eyes shot open, and in her palm she held an orb of bright white matter, her Spiritual Pressure manifested into reality. Those four years of training paid off. The orb was large and bright, her Spiritual Pressure swirling around.

One of the judges began to clap, and even stood up. “Well done Miss Ayame. You have clearly mastered the ability to manifest your Spiritual Pressure. The best I have seen in a long time.”

The other two judges stood up, the female speaking first, “Yes, you have clearly been training, but under whom I wonder.”

The other judge cleared his throat, he was an older man with long white hair, “Under one of our own Soul Reapers from the looks of it, seeing as how that stance is used by none other than our Soul Reapers, tell me Miss Ayame, who was your teacher?”

“Miss Satsu Sakudori.”

“Satsu . . . the retired Soul Reaper?”

“Yes sir!”

“But how, she was injured, far too injured to train anyone?”

“She not only trained me, but my friends Unta and is in the process of training another friend of mine Mimori.”

The judge who had stood up first looked at the woman and then to the elder. “Satsu was a very revered Soul Reaper of ours, but we thought she had been mortally wounded by a Hollow a few years back, to hear that she is training students, it is wonderful!”

The woman however, did not look pleased by this, “If she is training, then why did she not resume her duties?”

“Well you see, she could only train us in manifesting our Spiritual Pressure, she can no longer fight.”

The old man cleared his throat again, and eyed Reiha as if looking into her soul. “Where is this Unta and Mimori you speak of?”

Reiha was unsure if to tell them where they were, but she decided to do it none the less. “Unta is currently taking the physical portion of the trial into the Academy, while Mimori is still training with Satsu because Mimori is only fourteen.”

The three judges looked between themselves, a look of puzzlement on their faces. They were whispering to each other and Reiha could not make out what they were saying which only puzzled her further. Finally after about ten minutes or so, all three of them sat back down, with a bizarre look on each of their faces. The old man began to speak first . . .

“Miss Reiha Ayame, you will be permitted into the Academy without the need of further testing so long as you tell us, does this Unta friend of yours know how to manifest his Spiritual Pressure?”

“Yes, as a matter of fact he can do it better than me!”

Reiha thought she saw the flicker of a smirk cross all three of the judge’s faces, but if it was, it was only for a moment. The old man called down a butterfly, which struck Reiha as an odd thing. That must be a Hell Butterfly that the Soul Society uses as a way of communication, what an interesting creature. And it’s black on top of it. The old man whispered to the Hell butterfly, and it was off in a moment, then turned his head back towards Reiha.

“As I said, we are permitting you into the Academy, without having to further test you, seeing as how even if you were to take these tests, it would be frivolous to you since you already know so much. Follow me, we are going to meet up with that friend of yours.”

Reiha followed the old man, and was surprised at how briskly he walked. He was quick for an old guy, and it had taken Reiha slightly of guard. Remember to keep you’re guard up, for you never know what might be around the next corner. She kept walking, following the old man as they rounded a few corners and went up a few flights of stairs to their destination, the front doors of the Academy.

“The Academy, here you will learn everything there is to know about your duties as a Soul Reaper. Come, let us enter.”

“The old man opened the doors with ease, and led her to the registry office. The lady there nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw the old man. Who exactly is this old man?

“Sq-Squ-Squad Ca-Cap-Capta-Captain Nu-Num-Numb-Number O-One, wh-what do I-I-I o-owe thi-this ho-hono-honor?”

Reiha’s eyes were wide, she had just been led her by the legendary Squad Captain number One? She couldn’t believe it! Amazing, why didn’t I think of it before? Of course he’s Squad Captain Number One! Reiha noticed the door open once more, and Unta walked in behind another man.

“Untah!”

“Reiha?”

“These two are to be enrolled immediately into the Academy, they have proved that they do not need to be tested further however, the boy must show me that he can manifest his Spiritual Pressure.”

Unta looked around, “Huh, you mean me?”

“Well you are the only boy around, so yes.”

“Oh yeah,” Unta began to focus his Spiritual Pressure, forming a small orb and began to make it grow by adding even more, he did this with some ease, easier than Reiha did that is and his orb was even larger than her.

“Impressive.”

“Indeed is it not Squad Commander.” It was the other man, he too was fairly old, but not as old as the Captain of Squad One. “I had him demonstrate it to me on our way here.”

“Lieutenant Barbari, finish getting these two registered, I must return to judging the rest of the entrants.” The Squad Commander left them with the Lieutenant, who easily registered them with the secretary and sent them off to their classes.

“I can’t believe it Untah! We’re finally going to become Soul Reapers!”

“Well Reiha, that’s only if we pass all of our classes you know!” Untah looked at her with his kiddish grin, one that always cheered her up.

“Well . . . looks like we part here once more Untah.”

“You make it sound like we’re never going to see each other Reiha.”

Reiha punched him lightly in the arm, “You know what I mean you goof.”

“I know Reiha.” Untah smiled once more, and then gave Reiha a high five. They walked their separate ways to their classrooms and thus began there training for the goal of becoming a Soul Reaper.

A Hell Butterfly floated down from her windowsill of which she was looking out of into the Soul Society and into her room. It whispered its message in her ear, it was straight from her Captain, the Captain of Squad Ten. “Of course . . . tell him I shall see him there tomorrow bright and early.” The Hell Butterfly flew back through her window to deliver her message to her Captain.

“MISS AYAME!!” The ruler rapped on the desk of which Reiha was sleeping on, since her enrollment to the Academy, she had been limited in her time of sleep, with all the training and homework.

“Yes Ma’am!” Reiha nearly jumped out of her seat, not expecting a ruler to be rapped across the desk and then her head.

“You will either stay awake and pay attention, or you shall leave my room at once!”

Reiha scribbled down the notes on the board furiously, not wanting to miss a word. Her teacher was pretty serious, but she knew what she was doing. The bell had rung, dismissing the class to their lunch break, however, Reiha was put to stay.

“Miss Ayame . . . I realize that the Captain of Squad One admitted you to the Academy, however this does not mean you get to slack off. I will not take any slackers in my class room!”

“Of course Ma’am, I understand!” Reiha bowed her head and exited the classroom, her teacher’s eyes still boring into her.

Reiha’s classes went on like normal, first class of the day was learning all of the powers of a Soul Reaper and learning how to defeat Hollows and escort lost souls to the Soul Society.

“Now take notes on this everyone! Hollows are souls, just like us, however it is a soul who either still has regrets or wants to get revenge still and has not made the passing into the Soul Society. The reason they are called Hollows is that in their chests, is a perfectly cut out circle and you can see right through it. Now tell me, does anyone know how the best way to kill a Hollow?”

Reiha raised her hand, of course she knew.

“Miss Ayame, would you like to hazard a guess?

“The best way to kill a Hollow is to come from behind and attack its head, this way you do not see the Soul underneath the mask.”

”That would be correct.”

Then it was off to focusing her Spiritual Pressure and manifesting it even further (and she was the best in her class). Then lunch, and after that, the rest of the school day was dedicated to Zanpakuto training. Of course they didn’t have true Zanpakuto, for they weren’t ready for it, but they were using something similar. She rarely saw Untah anymore, the only time she actually saw him was when they went home, and even then, she would either go straight to bed, or both of them would lock themselves away in their rooms practicing and studying. A few month’s passed, and little of this changed, the same routine day after day, wake up, go to the Academy, come home, study or practice, and then go to bed. Satsu still training Mimori and Mimori still trained her Spiritual Pressure in the hopes of being able to manifest it.

“Today is the day young trainees, the day you wield your first and only Zanpakuto! A Zanpakuto will transform itself according to your Spiritual Pressure.”

They all lined up, and luckily for Reiha, since her last name started with an “A” she was able to get hers almost first. She picked up her Zanpakuto, and almost instantly, it transformed itself into a long slender katana. It pulsed at her as if it were a living breathing entity.

“Most impressive once again Miss Reiha Ayame. Your Zanpakuto has already taken its shape to your Spiritual Pressure. Can you tell me what your blade is telling you?”

Reiha looked up, what was her blade telling her? It pulsed like a heart beat, as if it were truly saying something. She closed her eyes, letting all of the other sounds die away, only focusing on the beat of her sword. It was speaking to her, speaking of something that Reiha couldn’t make out. What are you saying to me? Please speak to me my Zanpakuto!

You are my wielder . . . my master . . . what is my name?

I do not know, please tell me your name?

But you are my master, my wielder, you should know my name!

Your name . . . your name is . . . Shakugan!

Yes, that is my name! You have done well my young master! I am the flaming flower Zanpakuto Shakugan!

Reiha’s eyes opened slowly, her teacher still looking at her intently. “My Zanpakuto spoke to me.”

“And what did your Zanpakuto say Miss Reiha?”

“It told me its name. She told me her name!”

Reiha’s teacher widened his eyes a bit, obviously he was a bit shocked. “Already your Zanpakuto has shared its name with you?”

“Yes . . . my Zanpakuto is Shakugan, the flaming flower sword.”

“Most impressive Reiha. And now all of you, keep your Zanpakuto close, never let them out of your grip. They are yours to keep, and yours to forever keep.”

Reiha’s face beamed with pride, she had her Zanpakuto, she was nearly a Soul Reaper, the only thing left was to graduate the Academy, and that day was fast approaching. Her skills had multiplied ten fold from what they were. She was seventeen now, she had been in the Academy for a year. She went every day except for the day of rest, Sunday on Earth, and Soul Reaper Holidays, but other than that, she had never missed a day of her schooling. She had demonstrated her skill in combat, her wits in trickery, and her power in her Kido. She was ready, ready for the day of her graduation. However, she had not expected that she would graduate straight into one of the thirteen elite squads.

Satsu and Mimori showed up they day of Reiha’s graduation, but to her surprise, Untah too was sitting in the stands. Am I graduating before Untah . . . Reiha waved to them from her place and they waved back. However Untah looked almost annoyed, like he should be up there with her. She would ask him tonight when she got home.

“Reiha Ayame, age seventeen, graduating from Soul Academy in just one year! We welcome you as a new Soul Reaper, and as a unit of the late Hitsugaya Toshiro’s Squad Ten!” (OoC: I’m sorry, but I couldn’t resist :XD BiC: )

Reiha’s face beamed with pride, and she couldn’t believe she was a member of Squad Ten! This was amazing, Satsu had told her of the former Squad Leader Hitsugaya and how he was brave and dependable. Hitsugaya’s son was now the new leader of Squad Ten, but everyone still called him Hitsugaya like his father. The surprising thing was that he looked almost exactly like his father, though he had shorter white hair.

Reiha looked out her window, remembering that day, Hitsugaya actually was only the lieutenant back then, and got promoted to leader when Reiha was about seventeen and a half. He was pretty young for a captain, for he had only just reached the age of twenty but he had already mastered his Ban Kai.

“Welcome to Squad Ten Miss Reiha Ayame. I am Lieutenant Hitsugaya Ino.”

“And I am Squad Ten’s Captain, Hatsumo Qaeda.”

“I am pleased to be part of this wondrous squad Captain Hatsumo and Lieutenant Hitsugaya. I am grateful for your choosing of me.” Reiha bowed her head for it was the respectful thing to do.

Captain Hatsumo Qaeda was a very beautiful woman, more so than even Satsu. She had long flowing black hair and crystal blue eyes. She was powerful and very skilled with her might Zanpakuto Rapier.

Reiha’s eyes filled with tears as she remembered her late Captain. Killed by a Hollow, ruthlessly murdered, and with no one to help her. This happened just before Reiha’s nineteenth birthday. Untah had finally graduated, and was assigned to Squad eleven, the fighters Squad and Reiha had moved up the Squad ranks quiet quickly.

“Reiha, I hear by promote you to my third in command now that you have mastered your Shikai. And you Hitsugaya, I congratulate you on mastering the Ban Kai. You are now within the ranks of Captain. Reiha, you must work towards mastering your Ban Kai as Hitsugaya has done.” Hatsumo said it like it was an order, but Reiha knew it was for her best interest.

“Thank you Captain!” Reiha bowed her head, for she was still a subordinate to Hatsumo.

“And Reiha, now that you are my third in command, you can stop bowing your head.”

“Thank you Captain, for congratulating me on my success in mastering Ban Kai.” Hitsugaya hastily walked out of their Captain’s room, which puzzled Reiha.

“Reiha, stay a moment will you.”

“Of course Captain. What is it you wish of me?”

Hatsumo adverted her eyes away from Reiha and began looking around the room as if searching for the words to say. “Well . . . you see Reiha, when I am gone Hitsugaya will take my place.”

“Captain! How can you say such things?!?”

“Because Reiha, I have foreseen this. And that is the reason why I promoted you so fast. I want you to be Hitsugaya’s Lieutenant because I believe that you will lead Squad Ten to greatness.”

Reiha couldn’t believe her ears, her Captain believed she was to be killed sometime soon? It was impossible. “But Captain, I do not understand.”

“Reiha . . . I am not sure how to say this but from what I have seen, Hitsugaya has taken a liking to you, and for this reason I appointed you to my third in command as well. But that is beside the point, Reiha, when I am gone you must help Hitsugaya, and remember both of you will be young. When I am gone Hitsugaya will be one of the youngest Captains in the history of the Soul Society, but he is strong, but in order for him to run a Squad efficiently, he needs the support of his Lieutenant as well. Is that clear?”

“Yes Ma’am . . .” Reiha still couldn’t believe what she was hearing but she knew that she would support her Captain, no matter who it was.

“That is all I wanted to say, you may leave if you wish Reiha.” Hatsumo finally looked Reiha in the eye, but Reiha could not make out what she was feeling, but Reiha felt it best if she left. She opened the door slowly and exited, closing the door behind her, leaving her Captain to her thoughts.

“Good bye Reiha . . . Hitsugaya, keep this Squad in its greatness . . .” Hatsumo grabbed her Zanpakuto and swiftly headed out of her room. The sun was sinking as she headed towards the forested region of the Soul Society. “Hollow, I have come for you!”

“Hitsugaya, have you seen Captain Hatsumo?!”

Hitsugaya lifted his head to find Reiha quiet flustered, her red hair in disarray, and her breathing hard, “No . . . has something happened?”

“I’ve been looking for her all day, and I c-“

“Lieutenant Hitsugaya! Third Commander Reiha! You had best report to the Council Room . . . unfortunate news has . . . befallen us.”

Reiha looked out the window to find a member of Squad One and then back to Hitsugaya. “Lieutenant . . .you don’t think it actually . . .” Reiha tried hard to hold back the lump rising in her throat but to no avail. Her voice cracked and tears began to form in her crimson eyes.

“There . . . there is only one way to check. Come on Reiha . . .”

Reiha followed solemnly behind Hitsugaya as they made their way to the Council Room. When they arrived, all of the Squad Captains and Lieutenants were present, and some other Squad members.

“Hitsugaya, Reiha . . . I am sorry to say, but your late Captain Hatsumo was found this morning, her soul taken . . . taken by a Hollow.”

“No! Captain Hatsumo!”

“Reiha, get a hold of yourself!” Hitsugaya’s tone was harsh but not cruel. They both looked at the body of their deceased Captain, and Reiha fought with all the power in her body to keep the tears from flowing freely. “And what of the Hollow?”

“We were able to capture it, and destroy it. It will no longer terrorize our Society.”

Reiha felt her legs get weak, and she fell to the floor on her knees. Her mind was racing, her Captain knew all along. Reiha felt stupid, she should have stayed by her Captain’s side. She wasn’t joking, she knew it was going to happen. Why didn’t I take her seriously? I’m such a fool.

“So who is to be Captain of Squad Ten?” It was a member of Squad Four, obviously new from the looks of it.

“Hitsugaya Ino will be the Captain, and he may choose his Lieutenant.”

“But he is so young?”

“And after such a tragedy, are you sure Captain of Squad One?”

“Of course I am sure! He has mastered the Ban Kai, he is strong, he is ready.
