Weapons: Prophet, a rifle stolen from an Elenium Research and Development Center. It is powered by a brand new power source, a Zero Point Energy Generator. The ZPEG core is placed where a normal clip would be, however thanks to ZPEG you can fire Prophet a practically unlimited amount of times. It is called Prophet because of the advanced AI core built into both it and Shiel.

Shiel, is basically a gauntlet. However unless you are wearing Shiel you will be unable to use Prophet. The AI built into both Prophet and Shiel is the same, it utilises an MST(Micro Subspace Transmitter) to allow it to travel freely within the Memory of both. Although it is technically an Elenium AI it was created using a Terran AI as a basic model. They believed they had eradicated all of the Terran SR's(SubRoutines) and CP's(Command Protocols) but the AI, who goes by the name Miranda, simply tricked them into believing they had. They were also kind enough to upload the command data for a fasinating new piece of technology, a Predictive Sensor. The sensor itself exists out of phase with our own time and space, about two seconds ahead, and it communicates using the unique MST. Long story short, Miranda knows everything that is about to happen within a mile radius.

Khiel, another gauntlet. However this time its function is much simpler, it creates waves of controlled kenetic energy. Basically its telekenesis in a gauntlet. It also has a small storage space built into it using Dimension Compression technology.

Crimson, a red tinted sword made in the Bushido style. It has no special extras built onto it and is stored with Khiel.

She is also proficient in most aincient Terran martial arts.

Armour: She wears a modified Gaian Infiltration Suit. Aswell as allowing her total freedom of movement and looking rather stylish it has a PDF, Pulse Dissapation Field. Basically meaning that any energy related weapon fired at her will dissapate before it gets to her, now this does have limits. For instance she probably couldn't survive a shot from a ships battery. It also gives her partial invisibility, more so when she is still.

Magic: No magic. However she can fly and with proper timing and use of the PS she had found that if she accelerates ballistically into something he can stop and yet will the power of the inertia to continue forward resulting in something akin to impact.

Strengths: Aswell as having superhuman traits, increased strenght and hearing, greatly enhanced smell and eyesight. She is shockingly singleminded, once she gets an order to something nothing but death will stop her.

Weaknesses: Two words, no magic. In a place where most people have some sort of magical ability she is rather lost. Aswell as this she can sometimes be overzealous in the pursuit of an objective.

Personality: She is rather laid back when she is just relaxing. But when in combat she is cold but not calculating. She would think nothing of killing anyone who got in her way but at the same time wouldn't really consider the ramifications of their death. She is hard to anger, but one thing that will get to her is when somebody talks down to her.

Bio: In the year 2031 the people of Earth were ravaged by a strange and deadly plauge. Once contracted there was no way to cure it, however it did not kill quickly. For the average person it took years to die, all of them spent in pain and misery. However even after a decade no one knew anything more about it than when it started.

Some people just couldn't catch it, others would contract it even if they were living in a sterile enviroment and it was only deadly to humans. Despite the efforts of the greatest minds of the day nothing could be done to prevent its spread.

Religions had a field day, mass suicides and "cullings" were orginised en masse. The fact that this was some kind of punishment was about the only thing they all agreed upon. Heck, the Pope went as far as to say that prayer was the cure. Other religious leaders basically said the same thing.

Several govenments collasped. The first to go was the US, with several States declaring themselves independant while others began forming new ties with each other. In Europe the cities of London, Paris and Berlin were totally decimated by civil unrest. Across Asia martial law was declared. In general it looked like we were about to write humanity's last chapter.

Then a message was recieved, its origin was unknown but several scientists theorised it came from somewhere in the Alpha Centauri system. The message was a single scentence, in Latin for some odd reason. It read:
Brothers and Sisters we are coming, aid will soon arrive.

Almost instantly it debunked as a hoax by all major religions and some governments denied their people access to it. Not that any of that stopped anyone. People were desperate for an answer. Less than a week after the messages arrival the first ships landed.

We later came to know them as City Ships. People expected those operating them to be alien, or at the very least green. However when what was obviously a human being emerged people were stunned. Using their ships they broadcasted a message, titled The Truth it singlehandedly resulted in the end of Terran religion.

According to it Earth was but one of thousands of planets where life trived in the human form. Apparently a race of beings known only as the Seeders planted the building blocks of human life across this galaxy. The reason for it was simple, they were a dying race fighting a losing war. It was their hope than humanity would provide both an ally in this war and their ultimate legacy.

But something went wrong, perhaps they simple didn't realise how long it would take for human life to develop to the stage where it would be useful. Perhaps they died of or lost the war. But regardless of what happened they dissappeared.

So in their absence humans evolved throughout the galaxy. But now this particular faction of humanity needed help. They had taken over the task of overseeing any less developed cultures but they judged the Earth culture to be advanced enough for them to engage in contact. They were fighting a war with another race. They had the technology to fight but not the numbers.

So in exchange for a cure to this plauge they asked all Terrans to leave Earth, forever. To fight in this war, to help their industry and to live among them, the Gaians. Everyone agreed without question and so almost 3.5 billion Terrans became Gaians. By the time they arrived however their number had fallen to almost 2.5 billion but nobody asked any questions.

The truth was this. They judged the other 1 billion to be unworthy of life in Gaian society, so they killed them. Now what about the others still left on Earth, those that weren't killed outright were infected with the plauge, which it turns out was a weapon created by the Gaians. However some people proved immune to it.

After further investigation the found that some people had a genetic marker that granted them immunity to the plauge. The odd thing was that it was entirely natural. This was something worth of investigation and so the people who were immune were tested, eventually they found a new strain of the plauge they they thought would work. It did, for about 80% of the people. For the rest it had the oppisite effect.

It gave them many superhuman traits. Some even gained abilities that seemed to simply defy the laws of science. Most of these people managed to escape and using these new abilities fought back. The Gaians had started to terraform Earth, removing all evidence of Terran life. So the escapees defended it. Living in the ruins of major cities such as Tokyo and Barcelona they fought the Gaians.

This war raged on for years. Fortunately most of the people who survived were also gifted with a long life some seeming to not age at all. But ultimately it was an unwinnable war. So under the direction of Alian Cateur, who was the de facto leader of the Terrans, they managed to capture a city ship.

From there things got better and better. They found more ships and even invented new technologies like the Jump Drive and they had the most advanced AI ever concieved. However it became evident that if they were to survive and eventually win this war they would need to leave Earth. So they began making preparations to embark on a journey through the Universe.

But before they did they wanted to discourage the Gaian's from trying to follow them. The most prominant leaders of Terran society met to discuss the issue. It was decided that a show of force was needed, something that would really grab the Gaian's attention and at the same time throw them into disarray. It was a man named Patrick Millyr who came up with the plan.

Using their latest creation, a ship named the Terra Immortalis, and the Blink Drive they would enter orbit around one of the Gaian's Utopias. The moon in question was to be one with a mainly Earthling population, and make a show of force by sending one of their men onto the planet to cause a disturbance. Namely one at the Gaian Trans-Solar Entertainment Awards. Using the fact that the Terra Immortalis was a stealth cruiser, it was undetectable on most forms of Sensors and still had the capacity to take down a sizable fleet, and a Directional Matter Transportation Beam with a few tweaks they would give a show worthy of winning one of those coveted awards. Millyr himself volunteered for the job.

He was slipped onto the planet one Earth week before the awards were set to take place. He took the week to see how the Earthlings were doing. Terrans and Earthlings might be from the same planet but the Terrans were those who were left behind. The way they see it they are a completely different and better race. The Earthlings, most of them, have no idea that the Terrans exist. So after spending a week in the luxury of a Gaian Utopia Millyr was more than ready to create a distubance, he just hoped Alain who was the Commander of the Terra Immortalis did everything he was supposed to.

So during the main event Millyr took out a projectile firearm and shot a round into the air, Gaian security forces only searched for energy weapons. Then without killing any security personnel he proceeded outside onto the main plaza. Then right on cue as hundred of Emergnecy Response police and even a few military units closed in the modified DMTB was activated. Rather tahn begin to transport him up to the ship it created a large beam of light about twenty feet in diameter that securely protected Millyr inside while keeping everyone else outside.

Then Millyr launched into a rather roughshod speech about who he was a who he represented that was vauge enough not to be definitive but with enough information so that the Gaian's would have a hard time explaining it away. Then just as he finished the speech he was dematerialised and rematerialised on the Terra Immortalis. As soon as he was onboard the ship powered up main engines and broke orbit, the activation of engines gave away their position and so the Gaian fleets within range descended upon them. After firing a few shot designed to do nothing more than slow down the Terra Immortalis Blinked away.

Once back with the rest of the fleet most of them began to travel towards their new homeland. How Millyr took his ship, the Arcane, on a different course as he had been assigned to do recon on possible new offensive by the Elenium Federation against the Darian Empire. While en route via Hyperspace, the Blink Drive needed to be charged after every use and it had other drawbacks, they came across a battle between the last remaining frigate of an Elenium fleet and an unknown foe. Although the Terrans had no formal treaty with the Federation they had helped each other out in the past and the Elenium Federation had proven themselves to be an honourable ally.

It was this that caused Millyr to stop and aid the frigate. Coming out of Hyperspace just at the edge of the battle he placed the Arcane between the new ship and the frigate. Unfortunately he only had the manually operated Projectile Batteries and the Main Cannon to shoot with, and the Cannon needed to be charged. Opening up with the Projectile Batteries he closed on the unknown ship, the Elenium ship offered its thanks and began to fire using the Arcane as cover. After taking a few punishing shots Millyr held off on the advance and after repositioning the ship stopped completely. Another shot almost blew away all the armour on the forward section but then the Main Cannon became fully charged. It was a last ditch effort before retreat but it worked. It disabled the attackers shielding they retreated. After hacking into the frigates database they ascertained that the Federation was indeed moving to attack the Empire. Thus follows a direct transcript of the conversation.

Arcane: This is Commander Patrick Millyr of the Terran ship the Arcane, may we be of any assistance?
Nova: That you may.
Arcane: Speaking?
Nova: This is First Officer Kanlen of the Federation Starship the Nova, our Captain is dead.
Arcane: I assume you tried *transmission intteruption* Holy Christ that thing packs a punch! Have they made any demands?!
Nova: No, they just started blowing us to bits. Let me be frank, we have minimum engines and our shields are completely down. Commander you should get your ship out of here before you can't, whatever that thing is its like shooting at a star.
Arcane: Your advice *transmission interruption* noted. Roll us over goddamit! *indistinct shouting*
Nova: Once again Commander you should really get out of here.
Arcane: No chance, is the main cannon charged yet?
Nova: Commander again I urge you...
Arcane: FIRE!
Nova: What was that!
Arcane: They are pulling off, and their gone. Out of sensor range.
Nova: *cheering* Thank you, how may we repay you?
Arcane: You could tell us if the Federation is moving against the Empire?
Nova: No doubt your AI have already hacked in and gotten that information from our database.
Arcane: Yes but its polite to ask. We will be sending over a medical transport aswell as a team of engineers and some supplies to get your ship up and running, Arcane out.
Nova: We are in your debt, Nova out.

Many agree that this was the first step towards the strong alliance between the Federation and the Terrans. However they also agree that this first encounter with the race we came to know as the Skared may have been what provoked their hatred for Terrans.

Over the next few years Millyr was on the frontlines against the Skared and anyone else who threatened the peace and security of the Terran people. A cousin of the then and current president he helped create a great deal of the Terran foriegn policy and ultimately helped organise their military into one of the most effect fighting forces in the Galaxy. However the war cost him his wife and all of his immediate family, a brother and a sister, during the Skared's great offensive he lost both his second wife and his eldest daugther from his first marrige. Taking his daughter, Jesina, he left the military just before the last stand against the Skared and was branded a traitor and deserter.

He simply vanished and no one saw anything of him for years. Then twenty years later he reappeared commanding a trading and mercenary ship out of Zrenara Station, one of the frontier Battle Stations which had been abandoned during the war. It was now a haven for just about everyone and anyone. It was there that Alice first met him.

Alice was an orphan of the war. She spent a great deal of her life moving from ship to ship, never really staying anywhere for long. This was partly because she always thought ther were people watching her and partly because she had a problem with other people in general. They always seemed caught up in such stupid things.

When she was ten she joined the Krystos, a trading ship. It was their that she met the person she affectionately called, Grandpa. One of the few people who ever really seemed to understand her random moods and volatile nature Joshan Sehendre looked out for her. When the Krystos was attacked and almost destroyed he and she were the only survivors. The same scene repeated itself on Media, except this time Joshan didn't survive. She took it upon herself to avange his death at any cost.

She found out the people who had attacked the ship were a terrorist group known as the Karian Freedom fighters. For the most part they were basically pirates but the top teir of their command was shouded in mystery. she joined them at the age of fifteen and slowly began identifying the people responsible for the attack on the Media. Quickly finding that she not only enjoyed but was good at the type of thing they usually did she dedicated herself to their ultimate goal, taking down races like the Gaians who used less developed cultures to their own advantage.

Rising quickly through their ranks her determination and lack of compassion earned her the name Alice Malice, what none of them knew was that the people she killed on the way to the top were members of the group that attacked the Media. While toturing one of them she found out that someone higher up had ordered the attack. Deciding that doing it one by one would take too long she decided to try and find out who the person was who ordered the attack, kill him and be done.

It was then she met a fellow Terran, a woman called Nina. They formed in instant companionship, and after a while Nina shared a secret with Alice. Not only was she a master of all forms of Terran martial art she could share this knowledge with others, that was her special skill. She would gladly share this with Alice if she made a promise, to kill a man named Zeran. She wasn't allowed ask questions and it was this or nothing.

Alice grudgingly accepted then went and sought out Zaren, killed him and reported back. Nina congradulated her, saying that killing Zaren was the test for acceptance into the upper levels of the group. She also confessed that she beared a little grudge against Zaren and that sharing the knowledge of martials arts was a bonus. With this new found power Alice began to quietly seek out the person who ordered the attack.

But as she reached seventeen she was called before the people in charge; they called themselves the Association. They told her that she was being given a special mission. One suited to someone of her unique skills. She was to lead a group of well equipped and highly trained mercenaries deep into Gaian territory and destroy one of their weapon production facilities. But not before copying the contents of the weapons database and then uploading a virus.

The mission seemed fairly straightforward, find and infiltrate the uninfiltratable weapons facility that officially doesn't exist, copy its mainframe and upload a virus before blowing it away by overloading the power generator. All this without alerting anyone to the fact that they are there before the generator goes critical. Simple.

They found the facility after a month, getting in was easy but things went downhill from there. They were surrounded and while the others were getting captured Alice made it into the ventalation system. Determined to complete her mission she made her way to the Power Control Room, killed the gaurds and a few engineers, disabled the alamr protocols activated an overload and then got out of there.

She headed for the Mainframe but along the way she passed one of the testing facilities. They were trying out a brand new form of armour, that not only augmented the wearers strenght it allowed them to go invisible and resist blast from standard energy weapons. Grabbing the first one she could she slipped it on, for a moment she felt odd, off balance almost but she quickly recovered and was on her way.

She passed many guards in the hallways rushing here and there but thanks to the GIS she was able to walk past them undetected. She downloaded a copy of the mainframe and uploaded the virus in record time. She now needed a way to escape.
