LEA's Personal Character List
All of my characters are listed here, now with each character having its own separate post. Should you wish to battle or RP (though, I tend to prefer RPs), just peruse this list and see if anything catches your interest.
__________________________________________ Mariana (3.0) Name: Mariana Age: Unknown; appears to be about 30 Race: Vampire angel Gender: Female Height: 5’4” Weight: 125 lbs. Hair: Midnight blue with silver streaks and silver bangs Eyes: Deep violet Appearance: Mariana’s rebirth greatly affected her appearance in almost every aspect. Her once navy blue eyes are now pools of dark royal purple capable of drawing you in and seeming to extend into infinity. Her matching navy hair is now the darker shade of midnight with wide bands of silver running through it. She gained a couple inches in height and also about ten pounds worth of weight. Her body is still fairly proportionate, with perhaps a more slender waist. Her skin is now considerably paler, too, and her clothing was also drastically changed. She now wears a shirt with a wide open neck that is traced by a red line that comes down her midsection in a straight line. Her sleeves are white and are separate from her outfit a little, showing some skin on her shoulders. Her black pants legs flair out slightly at the bottom and dance lazily across her bare feet. The outfit compliments her body structure and accentuates her curves rather nicely. There are holes in the back for her brand-new wings, probably the most glorious characteristic of her new body, to fit through. For while her wings were marred by the discolorations left by Lucilius’s demonic influence, during her rebirthing process under Arimas’s care, her wings were transformed into a solid midnight blue, and her wingspan was extended by a couple feet. She also wears the Argentsigna around her neck on a thin, solid black chain. And of course, now that she’s vampiric, she has a set of pearly fangs. Weapons: The Argentsigna—Mariana can use the silver seal itself as an indirect weapon. The crystal’s presence around her neck amplifies her control over the water and lunar elements, and she can use the raw holy energy to attack or to defend herself. Ashriel—The Argentsigna, being a semi-sentient entity, is closely attuned to Mariana’s emotions and overall state of being. As such, it desired to accommodate Mariana’s new form in order to maintain its ties to her by becoming her new weapon, Ashriel. When blood from Mariana’s wings drips onto the crystal and coats it completely, the Argentsigna transforms into the sword. Ashriel’s blade is long and straight; the platinum blade is tattooed in crimson with the words, “Cursed until dying breath is any life that scathes the one who's pure blood forged me.” When unsheathed, the blade is surrounded by a halo of golden light, accentuating the words on the blade. At the base of the blade and the top of the hilt, two sapphire angel wings are outstretched and between them the Argentsigna itself is embedded. The grip is midnight blue with thin bands of platinum entwined around it, and in the pommel, a polished, round sapphire is set. Sword Techniques: Heaven’s Tears – Ashriel’s blade glows completely golden and as Mariana slashes, tiny spheres of compressed lunar energy are expulsed from the blade and are capable of homing in on an intended target. The sheer number of spheres makes this attack extremely accurate, but it is only capable of causing moderate damage. Seal of Argent – The Argentsigna embedded in Ashriel’s hilt pulses with brilliant silver light and a circle of the same light forms around Mariana’s target, effectively trapping it inside a band of holy energy. A massive beam of holy light then discharges from Ashriel’s tip to strike the target. This technique is extremely deadly, but it only works against those of demonic origin. Ashriel’s Judgment – Mariana stabs Ashriel’s blade into the ground, causing the earth nearby to shake. A beam of light shoots vertically up toward the heavens, leaving a vortex of lashing wind in its wake, and intense beams of lunar energy rain down on Mariana’s adversaries. Vampiric Abilities: Blood Alchemy: Mariana acquired this ability as a result of her rebirth. She can manipulate the unique, dark blue blood that now courses through her veins and cause it to rip out of her body to form solid, crystalline shields around either herself or others. Blood Draining – Now that Mariana is vampiric, she has the ability to drain the blood from her opponents. Unlike Max, however, she cannot absorb blood through her skin, only through her mouth. Healing Saliva – She can use her saliva to seal small, minor wounds, like bites. Hypnosis – Mariana’s ability with hypnosis is limited to being able to dull pain receptors if she doesn’t want those she drinks from to feel any pain. Teleportation - Thanks to the absorption of Lucilius's taint, Mariana acquired the ability to teleport at will. Fighting Style: Mariana’s rebirth resulted in the enhancement of her muscular structure. This, coupled with the added strength she gets from being undead, has greatly enhanced her physical fighting ability. She is much more adept at melee fighting, and yet she still relies heavily on her magical and Ashriel’s abilities. Strengths: Mariana’s angelic tendencies make her immune to holy energy and sunlight and negate the crucifix weakness normally associated with vampires. Her rebirth strengthened her magical abilities, as well as her physical strength. Weaknesses: Wooden stakes and silver present big threats to Mariana. Her kind nature can sometimes blind her to the threat an enemy poses, for she strongly believes there is good somewhere deep inside everyone. Personality: Since the separation from Maximilian, Mariana has become a shell of her former self. Max was the one person she had to comfort and love her, and with his departure comes an emotional emptiness, a hole deep within her heart that longs to be filled. And yet, she finds herself unable to fill it with anything. And so, she lives with her loneliness daily, convincing herself she must remain in this state because no one wants her. There is also a hint of resentment in her disposition toward Max. The separation came seemingly out of nowhere, without warning. And his reasoning for leaving her wasn’t satisfactory enough for her. And so, at times, the resentment bubbles to the surface in a combination of tears and screams of anguish, most especially when she is secluded. Despite these deep feelings of depression and mild hatred, Mariana does attempt to retain some measure of her once-amiable nature. She is still capable of kindness and love but probably won’t be engaging herself in another relationship for quite sometime, if ever again. Bio: Mariana was first entrusted with the task of protecting the Argentsigna in the earth year of 1400. She was sent to earth to inhabit a small, obscure village in the emerald hills of Ireland called Lochlynn. Here, she became well-loved by the people, especially the children. She displayed such piousness in the religious affairs of the village, that the village council decided to go against the Roman Catholic ban against female church leaders and elevated Mariana to the position of priestess. She answered directly to the council leaders. Lochlynn prospered under her guidance, and tales spread of the woman contradiction to the religious teachings of the day. Five years after Mariana’s establishment as the religious head of Lochlynn, a stranger appeared in the village. The only name he would offer was Lucilius. He had extremely handsome features and the most disarming smile anyone in the village had ever seen. He exuded politeness and kindness, most notably to Mariana. When she asked him what had brought him all the way to Lochlynn, Lucilius replied, most enigmatically, “I was searching for something, but I do believe I’ve finally found it.” Mariana was puzzled but did not press the matter further. In no time at all, Lucilius was offered a place on the village council, which gave him even more time to spend with Mariana. The angel quickly found herself falling in love with him, and he certainly did nothing to deter her feelings. Everything came to a head one summer night when Lucilius cunningly lured Mariana into bed. To her dismay, she discovered that Lucilius was not a man but an incubus trying to destroy the Argentsigna. But by the time she had found this out, it was too late, for she had already engaged in intercourse with him and now had part of him inside her. She was able to protect the holy crystal by her sheer force of will, but Lucilius’s attempt to dislodge the crystal resulted in four long and deep scars across her back, chest, and stomach. In addition, the slight demonic taint residing inside her body mutilated her once-glorious wings. Her spirit was broken and her emotions were a raging mass of confusion. On top of all that, Lucilius mercilessly slaughtered little eight-year-old Cedric, a boy whom Mariana held dear to her heart, and left his mutilated body sprawled over the altar of the church. The incubus left her alone for the remainder of the night, and by morning, he was gone from the village. Mariana was still able to retain her position of protector of the Argentsigna, but she felt it necessary to leave the quaint village of Lochlynn. Everywhere she went in the village, all she could see was Lucilius. She had loved him. She still loved him, despite what he was and what he had done to her. She determined to find him again and try to make him see reason. She did not know at the time that this strong desire to find Lucilius had been planted into her mind and spirit by the demon himself in an effort to keep his hold on her no matter where he was. For countless years, Mariana wandered the earth, searching for any whisper or sign of Lucilius. Her journeys eventually took her to a mysterious cave, where she later discovered an angel had been slaughtered to forge a demonic weapon of terrifying power called Angelfire. It was there, in the darkness of the caverns, where she first met Max. From the moment she laid eyes on him, she could feel some sort of connection between them. Despite her initial fear at his vampiric nature, Mariana soon found herself drawn more and more to him. She was falling in love, and she soon found out that he loved her, as well. However, the discovery that Lucilius’s demonic taint was slowly poisoning her entire body dampened her new-found happiness, and she went to Max for comfort. After helping Max free the captive vampires he was sent to save from the caverns, Mariana went to Ryiel, the realm of the vampire god, Arimas. There, desiring to be rid once and for all of her taint, Mariana submitted herself into Arimas’s care and was placed into the same rebirthing crystal where Max’s real flesh underwent rebirth, for she had seen him alone inside it and had decided that she would do anything to be as close to him as possible. When the rebirthing process was complete and both of them were released from the crystal, Mariana found she was now a vampiric angel and had a telepathic bond with Max. It was then that the Argentsigna revealed to Mariana that it would become her new weapon, Ashriel. Soon after acquiring their new bodies, Max and Mariana were forced to defend themselves and Ryiel from Lucilius and Orion, Max’s doppelgänger, who both had found their way to Arimas’ realm with the help of Zeke, a member of an unholy trinity bent on wiping out all life in the universe. With the help of Arimas and the newly-revived vampire trio Max and Mariana had rescued from the cave they’d met in, the pair escaped Ryiel through a portal and entered Max’s old world, Nexus. Upon arriving there in a rather violent manner, Mariana discovered that she was utterly alone—Max had been possessed by Orion. When all seemed lost, a mysterious man named Rando appeared to assist Mariana in subduing Orion without causing bodily harm to Maximilian. Eventually, through a series of events leading up to Max’s acquisition of a certain phantasmal mirror, Orion was sealed inside, releasing Max from the doppelgänger’s grasp. However, shortly thereafter, Max decided to end his relationship with Mariana, much to her sorrow. Arimas sent her back to the period of time just before meeting Max, though she still had all her memories intact and still possessed her vampiric nature. As for Max, she doesn’t know what happened to him or where he is now, and she does not care, either. She has been reduced back to a lonely wanderer. Re: LEA's Personal Character List
Lucilius
Name: Lucilius Age: Unknown Race: Incubus Gender: Male Height: 6’ 2” Weight: 210 lbs. Hair color: Jet black Eye color: Emerald green Appearance: Lucilius is, in short, a very gorgeous individual, which is only natural considering what he is. His striking green eyes are both his most attractive feature and his most effective tool for the seduction of women. His silky black hair falls in straight, thick layers to the tops of his shoulders and is parted straight down the middle of his head, his bangs framing the sides of his face as his shortest layer of hair. His facial features are all perfectly formed and proportional to the rest of his face. He has a small nose and semi-thin lips for a mouth that houses impeccably straight, pearly white teeth. His complexion leans more toward the pale side, while still retaining the look of the living, and this paleness is accentuated by his dark hair and almost unnatural emerald eyes. Another prominent feature worth noting is his ability to extend his blackened nails by several inches, forming them into formidable weapons for him to use. His body structure is lean and wiry; he can move swiftly and effectively when he needs to, and yet he is firmly toned with a thin, compact sheet of muscle covering his entire body. For clothing, he wears a loose-fitting, dark emerald green shirt and comfortable black dress slacks that fall to cover part of the tops of his black casual shoes. He also sports a knee-length, black overcoat with a fairly high collar that partly obscures the sides of his face. Thick, emerald bands made of a soft, leather-like material and stitched in black with various demonic symbols encompass his wrists. Weapon(s): Retribution (fallen form): This is the sword Lucilius previously possessed while he was still Reyas, although now that it has fallen along with him, it is considerably warped in form. The entirety of the weapon is black, with the exception of thin bands of emerald green that snake around the hilt. The black blade itself is very irregular in shape, jagged in inconsistent patterns, twisted and demented just like Lucilius himself. Despite its unwieldy appearance, Lucilius is capable of handling Retribution with amazing skill. He summons Retribution to him through a blood ritual, calling it forth from some obscure pocket in the underworld. Armor: None Abilities/Skills: Hypnosis: Being an incubus, Lucilius can harness extremely potent hypnotic abilities. This is mostly useful when he wishes to subdue females before taking them. However, he can also choose to use hypnosis to aid in the creation of an illusion and in confusing his opponents. Once something is under his control, it is extremely hard for it to break free, unless it is willing to risk serious mental repercussions. Pheromones: This is one of Lucilius's most important abilities related to his species. The incubus can exude his pheromones in order to ensnare potential prey by making him seem incredibly, almost otherworldly, attractive. Victims who experience Lucilius’s pheromones often become disoriented and may even hallucinate. This, coupled with his hypnosis, is extremely effective in capturing prey. Teleportation: The name says it all. Lucilius has the ability to teleport in the blink of an eye, further aiding him in his hunt for prey or in tough situations against opponents. Emerald Hellfire: Now that he has fallen from his angelic state, Lucilius has the ability to command the fires of Hell in practically any way he wishes. However, this ability is made unique to him through the emerald hue imbued in his fire. Demonic Summoning: Through another blood ritual, Lucilius can call upon the essences of several lesser demons in Hell to emerge and assist him in battle. These demons, while considerably less skilled than Lucilius himself, can still present a threat. They can also be employed as a distraction while Lucilius prepares some other attack or thinks of a plan. Fighting Style: Lucilius is a balance of brute strength and subtleties. When he becomes enraged, he’ll unleash nearly everything at his disposal without remorse. But as long as he maintains his usually cool demeanor, he’ll rely mostly on deception, trickery, and illusion to topple his opponents. Strengths: Lucilius has his looks, sword skills, and incubus abilities all in his favor. He could easily be considered one of the most powerful incubi in existence, mostly due to the intense emotional hatred and lust he felt for Mariana that instigated his fall in the first place. Weaknesses: Lucilius’s one major weakness is Mariana. He will do anything to seduce her again, which means he can often put himself at risk just for her. He is also slightly vulnerable to light/holy magic, but he has built up somewhat of a resistance to the extent that it won’t immediately obliterate him upon contact. Also, if he loses his temper, the resulting rage can potentially blind him to threats and can also render his strategic thinking useless. Personality: Conniving, seductive, and sly all describe Lucilius’s personality. He is an incredibly smooth talker and knows exactly how to seduce females. With his brilliant, albeit twisted, mind, the incubus can think quickly even in high-stress situations. He is extremely confident in his abilities and his power over women. At times, his more demented side can show, especially when Mariana is involved. He is obsessive over her in particular. He is also extremely prideful and is capable of feeling heated jealousy. Most of the time, however, he is calm and collected, exuding an insidious yet very deadly evil aura that leaves no question as to his alignment. However, in the end, he hates being ordered around and only schemes to further his own ambitions. Bio: Lucilius was formerly known as the angel Reyas, one of the seven Seal Guardians. It was in this venue that he met Mariana, another Seal Guardian. Over the span of countless years, Reyas and Mariana grew closer as friends and companions--mostly due to the fact that Reyas was not well-accepted by the other Guardians, especially Vauthor, and Mariana was the only one kind enough to speak with him about more than simply business relating to their duty. The two balanced precariously on that edge between being friends and being more than friends. When the day in which Mariana received her reassignment to Earth arrived, Reyas decided to finally approach her about stepping over that edge a bit. Mariana turned him down and left for Earth, and as a result, Reyas went insane. He was so angered at Mariana for placing her guardianship of the Argentsigna over his affections that he corrupted his own charge, the Viridasigna, damning himself in the process. He fell from his angelic position, and the lustful feelings he harbored for Mariana changed him into an incubus. After he was cast down from Heaven, his new nature was incredibly untamed and out of control. As a result, the only thought present in his mind was to seek out Mariana and exact revenge since he placed the entirety of the blame for his fallen state on her. He was successful in this endeavor, seducing her and tainting her in the process. But he was vexed when it came to destroying the hated Argentsigna and was forced to retreat, but not until after brutally murdering eight-year-old Cedric, whom Mariana loved dearly. Soon after that night, he was found by none other than Lucifer himself, who took great interest in the incubus because of his former status as a Seal Guardian. In exchange for help with controlling his new incubus nature, Lucilius pledged his allegiance to the Father of Lies. However, even to this day, Lucilius only begrudgingly obeys direct orders from his Master. Several centuries later, a fallen archangel named Xaevakra initiated a plot to create a weapon capable of destroying angelic kind. With a hunch that Mariana would eventually become involved with this, Lucilius convinced Xaevakra to let him help her in the creation of Angelfire. Soon enough, the cave which served as their base of operations was invaded by several warriors--including, to Lucilius' extreme pleasure, Mariana. However, the course of events did not go as he wanted, for Mariana fell in love with the vampire Maximilian, and the two eventually branched off on their own to leave the cave through a portal into a realm Lucilius was not familiar with. Once the party of their enemies arrived in the center of the system of caves, Xaevakra was waiting for them, but she was outmatched. Seeing that Mariana was not with the others, Lucilius quickly retreated, abandoning Xaevakra, who was destroyed at the hands of the angel Osiris. After the Angelfire fiasco, Lucilius joined forces with Max's doppelgänger, Orion, and Zeke, a member of an unholy trinity bent on the destruction of the universe, etc. After Orion revealed that he knew where Max and Mariana were, Lucilius agreed to work with Orion and Zeke but only for his own selfish motives. Since Orion was only a phantom at the time, he required a physical body to serve as a host. Lucilius supplied him with a body he made himself--one that looked exactly like Cedric in the hopes that Mariana would be too psychologically conflicted to cause harm to Orion. In addition, since he knew that Cedric was a weakness of hers, he thought her mind would be even more vulnerable to his influence. In Ryiel, though Max and Mariana were outmatched at first by the three antagonists, Arimas sent them aid by way of the newly-revived trio of vampires the pair had earlier rescued from the Angelfire cave. The three vampires were able to hold off Lucilius and Orion long enough to allow Max and Mariana to escape, though Orion managed to take possession of Max just before he and Mariana were through the portal to Nexus. With Mariana gone, Lucilius left Ryiel soon thereafter in frustration. More recently, Lucilius has acquired the loyalty (albeit loose) of the assassin, Fallenstre Vamond. In addition, he has been incredibly secretive about something--no doubt a scheme of his that he is in the process of orchestrating. Battles: Walking Contradictions (Dropped) RPs: Blood Red Summer (Finished) Character Fictions: Angelic Vestiges: Emerald Night (Finished)

Re: LEA's Personal Character List
Sileya
Name: Sileya (See-LAY-ah) Gender: Female Race: Elf Age: 742 (the Elven equivalent of a young adult Human) Height: 5’9” Weight: 132 pounds Hair color: Silver with streaks of light blue Eye color: Emerald green Weapons: Sileya wields her favorite weapon, Drageziel (Drah-GEH-zee-el). This large and deadly broadsword has been passed down in Sileya’s family since the moment of its creation. It was a gift to her ancestors from the ancient Dragon Bladesmiths. Its hilt is entwined with twin silver Dragons, their wings outstretched to from the crosstrees at the top of the hilt. Gleaming emeralds are set where the Dragons’ eyes should be. Their tails encircle the shining ruby set in the broadsword’s pommel. Ancient and sacred Dragonrunes tattoo the silvery blade itself, granting strength and the power of the elements to the wielder of the blade. In a battle with Oni, the god of darkness, the Eight Greater Elemental Dragons granted her the gift of being able to channel the elements without touching Drageziel, eliminating her one major weakness, and they themselves became sealed within her great broadsword, allowing her to call upon their spirits in times of need. Abilities: Sileya has the ability to summon the Eight Greater Elemental Dragons that are sealed within Drageziel. The Dragons can only be summoned if she has enough strength to do so. The summoning process can very easily be interrupted if her concentration is broken or if she sustains a major wound. Also, the summoning consumes A LOT of Sileya's energy, rendering her all but incapacitated for several hours. The Dragons also have a set amount of time they are allowed to stay in physical form. Once that time is up, they revert back to their spirit forms and become sealed within Drageziel once again. Sileya is capable of summoning multiple Dragons at once; however, the greater the number of Dragons, the more time required to perform the summoning and the greater the amount of lifeforce drained from Sileya. She has never attempted to summon all eight at once, but the attempt would most likely kill her. The Dragons each have a unique, powerful attack they can use. However, once they use it, they automatically return to their spirit forms. Also, once a Dragon has been summoned in a fight, it cannot be summoned again for the duration of a full 24 hours. ~*The Eight Greater Elemental Dragons*~ *Note: All images are copyright of Ruth Thomspon's Tarnished Images, Inc. Fire Elemental - Pyria (female) -Major/finishing attack - Blazing Inferno – A massive wall of flame descends upon opponents. This is extremely difficult to evade, unless you have an excessive amount of water at your disposal. Water Elemental - Areina (female) -Major/finishing attack - Tidal Surge – A consuming vortex of water crashes over the landscape toward opponents. Wind Elemental - Zelpher (male) -Major/Finishing attack - Whirling Maelstrom – Huge gusts of wind slice at opponents with razor-sharp accuracy. Earth Elemental - Roanok (male) -Major/finishing attack - Terra Shattering – The earth underneath opponents bucks and rolls in deadly, bone-crushing quakes. Thunder Elemental - Taiken (male) -Major/finishing attack - Thunder Net – A net of thunder is woven around opponents and contracts at a fast pace to thoroughly electrocute opponents. Ice Elemental - Shilera (female) -Major/finishing attack - Glacial Spear – A thick, long spear of pure ice elemental crashes into opponents as icy gusts lash by. Shadow Elemental - Slezyn (male) -Major/Finishing attack - Blood of the Condemned – The ground beneath opponents opens up and the spirits of the damned hold them partially suspended in the underworld while Slezyn unleashes a wave of shadow energy straight at them. Light Elemental - Lithiuan (female) -Major/finishing attack - Final Judgment – The heavens part and brilliant light shines down on opponents and is quickly followed by the raining of myriad streams of light onto opponents. As opponents are pounded by these streams, Lithiuan unleashes a huge beam of light energy to finish the attack. Armor: None Strengths: Sileya’s main strength is her skill with her broadsword. Over the years, she has developed this skill quite a bit and is a formidable opponent in battle. She tends to rely on her swordsmanship rather than her magic or the Ancient Dragons. If the need arises, though, she will resort to these two other strengths of hers. Weaknesses: Sileya can be a bit overdramatic sometimes, which often gets her into trouble. She is not afraid to unleash her sharp tongue on her opponents in the form of boasts and taunts. Her overconfidence in her own abilities sometimes causes her to miss flaws in her own battle style or to overlook her surroundings. Appearance: Sileya’s silver, blue-streaked hair falls to her waist. Her 132 pounds is all muscle and sinew. She has a smooth, ageless countenance and, of course, pointed ears. Drageziel is always in its elaborate, Dragon-decorated sheath on her back. Personality: Sileya is more easy-going and carefree than her sister, Alys. She thinks of battle as a game and has no trouble causing damage to her opponents. She can think on her feet in most any situation, but if the situation is bad enough, her temper can sometimes get the better of her. As she has grown and matured, she has calmed her dispostion somewhat, and she exhibits a quiet wisdom which those who meet her quickly come to respect. She is also a fierce defender of those whom she calls friend. Should one of her friends be threatened, Sileya will do everything in her power to help him or her. Bio: Sileya is the younger of two children born to the rulers of the Elven Realms of Valina. Her older sister, Alys, was next in line to assume the throne, but when she ran away one night to escape the frivolous duties of court, following the Elf, Valthanis, to seek the lands beyond the Elven Realms, Sileya’s parents disowned Alys and instated Sileya as the new heir to the throne. She was immediately instructed to study harder in her schooling, learning such things as the history of the Elven Realms and the differing dialects that were represented among the people of the lands. Sileya severely disliked being cooped up studying, and her most enjoyable part of her day was when she was allowed outside the palace grounds to ride around the countryside. She would seek her special spot, a secluded glen in the nearby forest, where she would train herself in the art of swordsmanship. With nothing to practice against, she could only teach herself so much, so she also took to simply lying on her back against the trees and daydreaming about faraway places and the adventures she could be having there. One fateful night, Sileya’s wish to be free of her duties to the crown was granted. An army of unidentifiable, hellish creatures assailed the walls of the palace. Amid the chaos created by the attack, Sileya determined that she would help defend her home, but she needed a weapon. Stealing into her parents’ bedchamber, she discovered a secret passageway into a room she had never been privy to. There, she first laid eyes on the Drageziel, that wondrous weapon granted as a gift to the Royal Family of the Elven Realms by the Ancient Dragon Bladesmiths. Her eyes shone as she grasped it, and her fate was sealed. In the ensuing battle to fight off the hideous creatures, Sileya became lost in the dark and inadvertently wandered away from the royal palace and deep into the forest. When she realized what she had done, she decided to forget about returning to her home. After all, she had wanted this chance to escape the life of royalty. So the Elf continued on, leaving her old life behind, and she would never be the same. In her travels, she learned much, including the fact that her new weapon allowed her to harness the magic of the elements by touching it. She met many foes, and with every one she met in combat, she bettered her level of skill with Drageziel. And it was that fateful battle with Oni that granted her the use of the elements without having to be in contact with her weapon, as well as the presences of the spirits of the Greater Elemental Dragons sealed inside her sword, now at her beck and call. She forged a close relationship with the Dragons, and they in turn respected, some even loved, her in return. Also, among the many people she met along her travels was a Drow named Vahn. The two started out as partners in battle and then grew into traveling companions. Soon after that, the two fell in love, but circumstances and fate saw fit to ruin the relationship. Vahn was a member of a particularly secretive tribe of Drows who worshipped a dragon god, and through this connection, a Drow belonging to this tribe had the ability to achieve the Dark Dragon transformation, as they called it. Drow also have an inherent dementia inside them just waiting to be unlocked. One fateful day, Vahn went insane and no longer recognized his love, Sileya. For a while, she was able to hold him off with only minor difficulty, but when he underwent the Dark Dragon transformation, he became a considerable threat to her life. Therefore, she had no choice but to summon Lithiuan to destroy him. Since then, Sileya has always had a difficult time agreeing to even start relationships of that nature with anyone. Her grief and self-imposed guilt over the incident stays constantly with her in the back of her mind. In time, Sileya came upon a place called the Dome, where she became a teacher for a short amount of time. During her brief stay there, she managed to form somewhat of a bond between a few of her students. Sudden, unexplainable reasons forced her to retire her position as a teacher, and she has now re-embraced her life as a wanderer, constantly seeking ways to improve herself. Battles: Note: Sileya has been around for a long time, and I only listed a few of her more recent battles. Just know that several more beyond these exist. Dragons' Soul (Dropped) Whispers of Celestial Dragons (Dropped) Azazel's Stone (In progress)

Re: LEA's Personal Character List
Fallenstre Vamond - The Butterfly Assassin
Name: Fallenstre Vamond (Fahl-LEHN-strah Va-MOND); answers to Len, Vamond, and/or any of her aliases. Aliases: The Butterfly Assassin and Silent Wings, among various others her numerous employers have used over the years. Age: 25 Race: Human Gender: Female Height: 5’8” Weight: 140 lbs. Hair: Pale violet red Eyes: Rosy brown Appearance: Len is extremely intimidating upon first glance. She has that tough-as-nails, don’t-you-dare-mess-with-me-if-you-want-to-keep-your-soul-attached-to-your-body look. And she has the prowess to back up her appearance. Her entire body is nearly solid muscle, except for a couple of those uniquely feminine areas, of which she does posses an ample amount and which she is also not bashful about using to her advantage should a situation call for such behavior. Being an assassin by trade, she has the grace and stealth of a hunting cat, and her toned body is constantly ready to spring into action, even when it seems there is no threat present at all. Len’s pale violet red hair is nearly always pulled back into a ponytail, with a couple medium-sized pieces framing her sharp face. Shorter, uneven bangs partially cover her rosy brown eyes, which are usually either hardened in anger or concentration, or blank and expressionless. Other characteristic features include her perpetually-painted and filed fingernails and the silver ring she almost always wears on her finger. Black leather usually composes Len’s outfit. And she’s also rather fond of belts. She wears black silk stockings and calf-high, lace-up black boots. While her dress is in actuality a halter-top, she does have sleeves separate from it, which frill out at the ends and partially obscure her hands. Unique pieces of leather are attached to the back of the dress to form a set of fake butterfly wings, her trademark. For all you visual people out there, click here for a picture. Weapons: Two specially-crafted dagger-class blades, identical in form. One is called Stille (STEEL-ah). The other is called Hemel (Heh-mehl). For an extremely detailed look at the weapons, click here. Armor: None Abilities: Iridescent Invocation: Len’s basic supernatural ability. With this, she can conjure hundreds of colorful butterflies to aid her in battle, should she require assistance. The time necessary to complete the summoning depends on how many butterflies she wishes to call forth. If it is but a single one, it takes her barely a second, but should she wish to call hundreds or even thousands to her side, it would take her considerably longer, several minutes, at the least. All her other abilities stem from this one. Shimmering Sedation: Once Len has successfully summoned a swarm of butterflies, she can command them to put people to sleep using their powdery sedative. A target’s susceptibility to the sedative depends upon how many butterflies are present and how resistant or not a target is to sleep at the time. Once a target has been put to sleep, the swarm can then utilize the following… Fallacious Fantasy: The conjured butterflies are capable of invading the minds of victims in the thralls of sleep. Once a mind has been penetrated, the swarm can manipulate the target’s dreams based upon what information is available to them in the person’s memories. The possibilities for manipulation are limited only by what isn’t already inside the mind of a victim. Voracious Vampirism: When Len becomes especially angered, her summoned butterflies will turn extremely aggressive and viciously swarm Len’s opponent(s). In this state, they shed their usually sweet and docile natures and adopt a manner more like unto hunger-crazed vampires, biting and shredding anything in their path with their tiny, temporary fangs. However, it takes a lot to anger Len to the point where her butterflies will undergo this mutation. Strengths: Without her speed, stealth, and cunning, Len would utterly fail at her profession. She has a brilliantly tactical and analytical mind and is able to keep calm in nearly any situation, even when others panic. When she attacks, she does so with a precision that ensures damage to some extent is done. She is strongest under cover of darkness, when she can use the shadows as launching points for her attacks or to hide in while summoning her butterflies. The night also increases her butterflies’ chances of putting targets to sleep, since most people are more susceptible to dozing off in the late hours. Weaknesses: Len does not handle physically strong opponents well, most especially if they confront her directly. She much prefers stealth and evasive tactics, rather than blindly charging at an enemy. While most of the time she is cool and collected, Len does have a tendency to allow her temper to flare up when pushed over her personal edge. She isn’t pushed over that edge so easily, but when she is, the resulting storm of indignation can be brutal, most clearly manifested in her butterflies’ Voracious Vampirism ability. Personality: Len is a quiet person, usually. But that’s not surprising, considering silence is a key element in her trade. She is not prone to random outbursts, nor does she allow her emotions to get in the way of accomplishing her goals. She can be almost painfully blunt, but that does not mean she’s entirely insensitive. It’s just that she chooses not to display any sensitive qualities. Her past has hardened her to the point where she teeters on the edge of not involving herself emotionally with anything anymore. She views any intimate encounters with the opposite sex as just another path to completing her objectives and rarely, if ever, involves herself with anyone just for the sake of pleasure. All her mind focuses on is her work and maintaining her simple lifestyle of killing and then collecting the resulting money from whomever her current employer happens to be. Bio: Day 1 (Age 15) I never thought I’d be the kind of person to sit down and write a journal, but here I am doing it. I feel alone. And unwanted. The monks here finally told me today about how I came to be here in the first place. Some woman—presumably my mother—left me at the gates. Didn’t even give me the courtesy of a basket or a blanket or anything. Just left me naked on the stone steps fifteen years ago, today. One of the monks said he’d recognized the woman as she’d run off into the jungle. He called her a “lady of the night,” as though trying to be cryptic so I wouldn’t understand. How little they think of me. I know what a whore she was. I was just another unwanted child, a mistake. A terrible mistake… Day 6 (Age 15) It’s been a few days since I last sat here with you, beneath this ripening cherry blossom tree. Life here at the monastery is pretty…boring. The monks do nothing but meditate and chant all day. Things I could do without. I desperately need some excitement. Something to make my mind stop lingering on the feelings of loneliness. I heard a couple of the monks talking about some secret place nearby. It sounded promising, at any rate. I think I’ll pay it a visit tomorrow… Day 20 (Age 15) I’ve been in a coma for two weeks…just now gotten my strength up enough to write again. That place…there was something there. Something…that attacked me. But it wasn’t real…or was it? Even now, the details are fuzzy in my brain. But ever since I’ve awakened, I’ve felt strange. And the monks won’t stop whispering furtively behind my back, even though I know they do it. The only visible evidence that anything happened to me is this scar that runs straight down the center of my body. Which I know wasn’t there before. I suspect the monks are going to throw me out soon in fear of me. Something’s happened to me, and I don’t even know what… Day 1 (Age 21) The last five years have taught me something. And nothing at all, at the same time. I found that I enjoy what I do. So much that I’m no longer as appalled as I was the first time I professionally killed a man. It’s like second nature to me. They call me The Butterfly Assassin. Oh, yeah. I found out what really happened to me that day in the secret grove just outside the monastery. I inadvertently wandered into the sanctuary of the resident forest god. Its name escapes me at the moment, but I don’t really care. It seems it took pity on me and bestowed me with this “gift” I now possess—the ability to conjure butterflies at will. Hence the name by which I’m known. No one knows my real name. But rumors of my deeds—or misdeeds, as many might say—are whispered around faster than a spark erupts into a full-fledged conflagration. I’ve turned into my own, personalized version of a “lady of the night.” If I cared anymore, I’d probably think my mother would be proud of me. Day 66 (Age 21) I found a new employer today. Or…rather, he found me. I sensed there was something strange about him from the start, but I didn’t think anything of it. It wasn’t until after we’d sealed our business deal in the bed in his quite lavish hotel room that I realized just what I was dealing with. An incubus. He intrigued me, to say the least. And I can’t say I wouldn’t mind helping to satisfy his appetite more often. Although, I don’t know if that’s just the mild hypnosis I know he used on me talking. Somehow (I’m still not entirely remembering all of this with full clarity), he persuaded me to be in his full-time employ. Or…at least to drop everything else and answer his summons when he needed my services—or my blades. I asked him how I was supposed to know it was him calling for me. He gave me a darkly amused smile and told me I’d know him by his name. Lucilius… Battles: Azazel's Stone (In progress)

Re: LEA's Personal Character List
Devin
Name: Devin Amon Cullen Age: 29 Race: Human Sex: Male Main class: Bard Secondary class(es): Archer/thief Height: 6’ 1” Weight: 195 pounds Hair color: Dark brown Eye color: A gentle gray-blue Appearance: Devin has been described by many, mainly females, as “handsome,” “cute,” “gorgeous,” and “hot” among other things, although he himself will never admit to it. He keeps his dark brown hair cut short and straight, except for his bangs, which fall into his eyes, giving him a somewhat mysterious appearance. He looks through his bangs with gray-blue eyes that are usually filled with melancholy, while also soft in their form. On the extremely rare occasion that he does smile, Devin’s teeth are impeccably white, and he has a shy sort of smile. Tall, lean, and wiry, Devin’s body is moderately muscled, granting him decent physical strength while also allowing him to move with cat-like grace and fluidity. He wears a comfortable, sage green, button-down, collared shirt, with the long sleeves of the shirt rolled up to halfway between his wrists and elbows. The top two buttons of his shirt are always left open so as to keep his airway unobstructed to allow him to utilize his singing voice. Around his neck rests a hemp necklace, with beads that match the color of his eyes. Dark, well-fitting blue jeans serve as his pants. He wears sturdy, comfortable, black flip-flops on his feet and can easily kick them off should the need arise. On his right wrist, he wears a thick, sage green wristband. And, finally, he has pair of stylish, thin-framed, silver glasses. Weapons: Devin’s primary weapon is his acoustic guitar. It is a beautiful instrument strung with six steel strings. It is composed of several different kinds of wood, including painted-black and stained spruce for its solid top and mahogany for the sides, back, and neck, while the fingerboard is crafted from ebony wood. However, the guitar is not Devin’s only form of defense, for hidden within the neck of the guitar is an ornate short sword, etched with Elven runes of protection and given to him by his half-Elven great-grandmother. As another form of defense, Devin also carries a medium-sized rowan bow, strung with silver unicorn hair, and a compact, treated leather quiver filled with arrows made from ash trees and fletched with phoenix guide feathers. Because of the inherent resurrection powers of phoenix down, all of Devin’s 25 arrows can regenerate if they happen to be destroyed, unless the guide feathers are somehow separated from the shafts. The bow, arrows, and quiver were also presented to him by his great-grandmother. Armor: None Skills/Magic: Using his enchanted guitar and his nearly virtuoso singing voice, Devin has the ability to cast magic, depending on the mood, speed, volume, melody, etc. of a song or even just a phrase of music he plays and/or sings. He knows no offensive spells whatsoever, mainly focusing on support and restorative abilities. The amount of time Devin has to craft a melody determines the power, effectiveness, and duration that a spell will possess. Aside from his magic, Devin can wield his short sword with moderate skill, enough to be able to fend off the average attacker with ease. He is more skilled with his bow, and thusly, prefers ranged combat over close combat if he can help it. Strengths: Devin’s musical and other artistic talents are his main strength. Through his singing and playing his guitar, Devin can cast his potent defensive magics. Sometimes, he sets the poetry he writes to music, allowing him to create a new type of spell he can cast, depending on the content of the poem. His skill with the bow is well above average; he is capable of hitting anything within at least 100 yards. He is quick and light on his feet, although he lacks the coordination to perform complicated dances, and his reflexes are fairly high. Weaknesses: Devin’s wiry frame makes him very unsuited for close, physical combat of any kind, and he will fight at close range only if there is no other option. His withdrawn personality makes him very hard to work with, and so he doesn’t readily form partnerships or alliances with other people. Also, he is practically blind without his glasses, so if he were to lose them, he would be unable to use his bow or defend himself with his short sword, much less be able to walk around without running into things. Personality: Because of his past, Devin is extremely shy and introverted, especially around females. He speaks very little, and even when he does work up the courage to say something, his tone of voice is usually hushed, barely audible to normal human ears. His words are muttered and hardly enunciated at all, making it even harder to understand his speech. He also tends to avoid looking anybody straight in the eye. He is reluctant, at best, and downright reclusive, at worst, definitely not a people-person. He much prefers spending as much time as possible alone composing music, writing poetry, or reading books, as these are all his most favorite pastimes. In battle, things are no different as far as his personality goes. He tries to avoid collaborating with others and would much rather flee a fight than actually participate. Bio: Devin’s story started off happily. He found the woman of his dreams at a young age, seven years old to be exact. Lily was the most beautiful seven-year-old girl he had ever laid eyes on, and from the first moment he saw her, he knew he wanted her for his own. The small school in his little hometown of Faerny made for an easy way to keep tabs on his dream girl, considering that he saw her everyday. It became his life’s ambition to get her to notice him. One day, when he had progressed to the sixth grade, his teacher introduced his class to the art of poetry. Devin immediately fell in love with all the rhyme schemes and the stanza structures, and he decided that he would win Lily’s heart through the writing of love poetry. Granted, his first few tries were a little shy of the mark, but what can you expect from an 11-year-old? The poor boy hadn’t had the experience of love yet to be able to effectively write love poems to Lily. As he grew older and entered into that awkward phase of life known as the teenage years, he vastly improved himself in his poetry, and he also began to learn to play the guitar and write music. He was able to master the guitar at an extremely faster pace than normal, and he also developed his amazing singing voice. Because of his musical talents, Devin was often called upon to perform at various school and town-wide functions. Through all of the attention, he never stopped thinking of how he could attract Lily. Unfortunately, she seemed to neither care nor be interested in him whatsoever. When Devin finally graduated high school, he was given several precious gifts, the first being his guitar. In addition, he was presented with his rowan bow, quiver full of enchanted arrows, and his intricate short sword, and he was also told of his Elven heritage by his half-Elven great-grandmother. Because of this heritage and his superior musical talents, he was told that he could cast magic by utilizing those talents. Even as he was trained by his great-grandmother in the proper way to cast Elven magic, Devin still sought to win Lily’s heart through his poetry. However, most of what he wrote, he felt wasn’t good enough and therefore threw it away. The day finally arrived when Lily did take notice of Devin and fell in love with him. The two agreed they were meant to be and became engaged. Their courtship was one of the happiest times in Devin’s life, and he couldn’t wait for the wedding day and, most especially, the wedding night. The blessed day at last arrived, and the two were wed and went away on their honeymoon. After returning home, things were blissful for a month or two before Devin began noticing something strange about the way Lily was acting. She would be noticeably absent from the house for hours at a time, without leaving any sort of explanation as to why. One night, Lily failed to come home, causing Devin to go into panic mode. He frantically went through the town, asking if anybody had seen or heard word of Lily’s whereabouts. When he finally got to the little school to find his old sixth grade teacher there, he learned that Lily had been by there earlier that day to say goodbye. She had run off with Devin’s best friend, Brian. And, ironically enough, Brian had won her over to him using the old poems that Devin had originally written and decided to trash, thinking they weren’t good enough. This tore Devin up inside and sent him into the withdrawn state he’s still in to this day. Emotionally dead, now, Devin left Faerny, dejected and hopeless. He hopes, through merely wandering from town to town, selling his poetry and music, that he might someday find Lily again. RPs: Blind Ambitions (In progress)

Re: LEA's Personal Character List
Dane MacKiernan
Name: Dane MacKiernan Gender: Male Age: 26 Race: Human (Scottish Highlander, to be exact) Height: 6 feet even Weight: 190 pounds Hair color: Sandy blonde Eye color: Hazel Weapons: Dane’s primary weapon is an enchanted claymore that is intended to defend against magic. It can “break” spells cast toward Dane before they hit him, and it can also simply function as a normal claymore. Dane also carries a dirk and an even smaller hunting knife. Skills/Magic: Dane cannot use any magic whatsoever, thus his magic-breaking claymore is his main strength. He has excellent skill with his claymore, and he can also throw his hunting knife with deadly accuracy. Appearance: Tall and lanky, Dane can at times cut somewhat of a comical figure. He always wears traditional Scottish Highlander clothing, including kilt and simple white tunic. His hair is long but considered short for a typical highlander. Spending much of his time outdoors, Dane has a slight hint of a tan in his skin. His handsome, rugged features make him quite popular with females. Personality: Dane has a tendency to appear distant and has a habit of letting his mind wander to other things when someone’s attempting to speak to him. He has an extremely arrogant disposition, however, which stems mainly from the fact that he is virtually immune to magic. His thick Highlander accent often causes him to be hard to understand, but he can usually get his point across. He is fully aware of his popularity with the female sex, and this knowledge often causes him to do rash things to impress women. He does have a kind heart beneath his brash façade, though, and he especially has a soft spot for small children. Bio: “Och, well hello there! Me name’s Dane MacKiernan. Ye got tha’? MacKiernan, ye ken? So, suppose ah should tell ye a bit aboot meself. Ah’m a braw laddie o’ twenny-secks, and ah’ve got this bonnie enchanted claymore that can repel magic. An’ if any of yoo ‘appen to be o’ the female variety…ah’m definitely very single and available, ye ken? Hehe… Och…well…anyway, tha’s great and all, but ah suppose ye dinnae care aboot tha’. Ah suppose ah should start from th’ beginnin’…” * * * * * Dane MacKiernan was born into a noble Scottish family in the Highlands of Scotland. From birth, he was marked as the heir to his father’s estate and fortune. Growing up, he had everything he could possibly want, and early in his life, he was trained to wield the claymore. The kingdom grew and flourished along with Dane. When he was about seventeen years old, Dane’s home was threatened by an evil sorcerer who desired Dane’s father’s throne. No-one in the entire kingdom knew how to combat the supernatural forces at the sorcerer’s command. The kingdom was doomed to fall to the evil if something couldn’t be found to silence the sorcerer’s powers. On one particular day, Dane was wandering through the bowels of his family’s castle when he discovered a secret passage left untouched for several hundred years. As he continuously made his way through the winding corridor, Dane noticed an ethereal, greenish glow that intensified the farther along the passageway he went. When he reached the end, he found himself in a medium-sized chamber that was bare except for a small pedestal set in the exact center of the room. Around the pedestal, various ancient and magical symbols were etched in circular patterns in the stone floor, and the green light seemed to radiate from those symbols. The most extraordinary thing about the room, however, was the intricate claymore stuck blade down in the pedestal. Power seemed to pulsate from the sword, and Dane was instinctively drawn to it. Upon closer inspection, Dane noticed characters inscribed in the stone pedestal. They were Old English characters, and Dane had to wrack his brain to remember how to translate them. Ah suppose mah da was righ’ in makin’ me study th’ Ole English. Tis a bonnie thing ah’ve ta’en those classes. Now, lesse… Slowly, the words revealed themselves to Dane: I have slain spirits unseen The unknown holds no fear for me Take hold the hilt to set me free I’ll pay you thrice o’er With the blood of your enemies Not one to think things through, Dane shrugged and immediately grasped the hilt of the shining weapon. With one easy tug, the claymore came free, and the green glow emanating from the symbols in the floor transferred itself into the blade in a brilliant flash of light. Dane had to shield his eyes against the glow, and when he removed his arm, he saw new characters etched into the silvery blade: The one who is pure has called me forth Use me against magical might I will aid you against more than brute force And deliver you from dangers in the night * * * * * “An’ so, ah went on tae defeat tha’ evil menace tha’ threatened mah family’s kingdom. Now, ah jus’ wander th’ country searchin’ for lads and lasses to hone mah claymore skills agin. So, if yoo are ever in th’ neighborhood, come to call. Especially if ye are of the lassie variety! Hahaha!”

Re: LEA's Personal Character List
Annabelle Syn-Lupus Name: Annabelle “Anna” Syn-Lupus (Sine-Loopuhs) Aliases: Dream Dancer, Wolf Dreamer Age: 17 Race: Human Sex: Female Height: 5’5” Weight: 127 lbs. Hair: Silver-gray Eyes: Burnt yellow Weapons: Anna’s only weapons are her many and varied bracelets and necklaces she has wound around her wrists and neck. More specifically, she utilizes the various charms she has attached to said jewelry as her weapons. These charms can do any number of things, but each charm can only do one specific task. For example, a charm in the shape of some type of bird could grant Anna temporary flight, or a charm in the shape of some herb possessing healing properties could grant her the ability to heal a wound, depending on how effective the actual herb is at healing. At this point in time, Anna has a limited amount of charms at her disposal; therefore, her abilities are also limited in terms of both strength and variety. Aside from the charms themselves, Anna has the ability to remove all her attached charms from her bracelets and necklaces and connect all the various chains and strings of beads together to form them into one long, continuous whip that she can use to defend herself with should her charms themselves be or become inadequate. Armor: Having armor would extremely inhibit Anna’s ability to dance. As such, she does not wear any form of armor whatsoever. Strengths: Due to her dancing prowess, Anna is extremely light and nimble on her feet. Her charms allow her flexibility in battle, depending, of course, on the number and variety available to her. Her senses of sight, hearing, and smell are keener than that of normal humans due to her connection with the wolves. She finds strength in the wolf pack assigned to protect her. They are her closest guardians and friends, and she shares a bond with each of them individually, some bonds being stronger than with others of the pack. The wolf pack is almost always near her if it is at all possible and ready to defend her life with theirs if necessary. Weaknesses: Anna’s frame is not built for physical combat, and thusly, she prefers ranged over melee fighting. Should an opponent get close to her, she would not fare extremely well. Another weakness revolves around her charm usage. Once a specific charm has been utilized in a battle, it dissolves and becomes temporarily unavailable. Anna has the ability to recreate charms she already has in her possession, but that takes considerable time and concentration, things which are usually in short supply in the midst of direct combat. The wolves are another weakness for Anna. She loves them dearly and would never want to see them come to harm. Skills/Magic: As has already been stated several times, Anna’s main abilities in battle stem from the use of her charms and her jewelry. She also has a prominent non-offensive ability. Being the Dream Dancer, Anna is able to infiltrate the inner psyches of almost anyone by simply dancing, that is, only if their mental capacities are weaker than her current level of ability. She can lull people into a relaxed state and then enter their subconscious to probe for memories or other vital information. This ability, however, does have a dark side to it, for while inside somebody’s mind, Anna could conceivably cause irrevocable mental damage by erasing or altering memories. She would never intentionally use her ability in that way, though, unless someone specifically asked her to do such. Appearance: The most striking aspect of Anna’s appearance is her yellow eyes, eyes that are almost wolf-like. Her hair is kept short, the silver-gray waves stopping at around her shoulder blades, and her bangs fall down into her eyes, helping to obscure their unnatural appearance. She is of average height for a human, her 127 pounds of weight proportionally distributed very nicely over her body. Aside from her potent jewelry, she is usually clothed in a flowing black, shin-length skirt with a swirl pattern embroidered in dark forest green all along the bottom half of the garment. For her upper half, she wears a loose-fitting dark forest green shirt that laces up on the upper half of the front of the shirt. Underneath this, her upper body is garbed in a skin-tight, black tank-top. Nearly 100 percent of the time, Anna is barefoot, with several silver and gold anklets encircling her right ankle. Her lithe and slender frame is perfect for dancing. Personality: Anna is extremely mature for her young age, in all aspects of the word. She is a caring individual who values life for the sacred thing it is, and she will do anything she can to help preserve it, regardless of the form it’s in. Normally, she is calm, controlled, and serene, but if she sees a life being threatened by some malignant source, she lets her indignation flare up. When in battle, whether she herself or something else she has chosen to protect has been threatened, she can be fierce and relentless. Quick to offer sage advice or to lighten the mood with a slight jest or friendly banter, Anna is a personality that is easy to get along with, despite her slightly intimidating outward appearance and the usual presence of her wolves. Bio: Annabelle Syn was born to nondescript human parents in the hidden land of Arqueith, the land of dreamers. Arqueith is a land filled with concerns for the subconscious; everything revolves around dream and memory analysis. In fact, the people there are virtually obsessed with it. In every city, town, or mere village, there is what is known as a Dream Center. In these lavish, government-funded facilities, dream experts and analysts perform experiments around the clock in order to further their knowledge of how dreams and memories work, although activity in the Dream Centers is heightened during the night hours, the peak time for people to be sleeping and dreaming. The reason for all the hysteria over the subconscious is found in the ancient, anonymously-written texts of Arqueith. It is said that a select group of chosen people will be born with the ability to directly affect the subconscious through mystical, unexplainable means. Naturally, the scientific minds of the time have decided that nothing cannot be explained through scientific means and have searched night and day for some way that they can affect the nature of memory and dream capacity. This was the society that Anna entered into, and from the time she could talk and think for herself, she became accu |
