Weapon: Sphen 12 (Semi-Automatic Long Range Sphen Rifle) - Standard Gaian Defense Force weapon

Strengths: Strong soldier, who has been through much training, equipped with an unending strength to succeed. Knowledge of a full arsenal of weaponry comes in handy, too.

Weaknesses: He is fully human, so he has no magical or special abilities, but he does not often let that stand in the way, and pushes harder when against such a foe.

Personality: After being in the Gaian Defense Force for most of his life, Aurelius has grown fond of battle, and has become a strong warrior in many aspects. He is a very wise soldier, and does not push his luck, taking advice from his officials whenever possible. Although stern in battle, and at times when needed, he can still put on a happy face after a victory or accomplishment. Knowledge of his history puts fear into his enemies.

In the parallel world to the present, Alexander Aurelius was a great warrior, who never gave up hope, even when it seemed to be the end.
He was born into a prosperous family in the wealthy nation of Gaia, with a soldier for a father. Having the blood of a soldier running through his veins, he was thrown into intense military training at the age of 12.
He grew up to be a Corporal of the Gaian Defense Force at age 20, given command of a unit of Gaian Soldiers. Two years later, he was trusted enough by his officials to be let in on a government secret. The Gaian government had placed detention camps across their nation, and had been seizing ships from other nations, filled with other races, and supporters of those races, and confirming that the ships had been going down in intense waters off the shore of Gaia. He was offered placement as a head Corporal of the military police guarding their largest camp. Strongly regretting it later, Aurelius took on the position as an honor.
Months after he accepted the position, Accretian troops blasted into the camps and a gritty battle was at hand inside the camp's walls. Being incredibly overwhelmed by the amount of strength the liberating Accretians had brought, the remaining Gain guards, including Aurelius, had no choice but to evacuate. They escaped under way of heavy fire, but only a handful left alive.
Being unforgiving toward the Accretian Empire, Aurelius led the Gaian troops in battle during the Nations' War which followed soon after the storming of the camps. He fought hard, the hateful history between the two empires fueling his angry flame.
After continuing the war for three years, people began to grow sick of it. Battle after bloody battle only sent fathers and sons home in body bags, for the mere reason of hatred toward another empire. The people of Gaia that had once let out never ending cheer for their soldiers turned to a dwindling moan.
Aurelius began to lose hope and care for his empire, especially when word came around that their Emperor had been assassinated by an Accretian who was granted access into his personal chamber, an Accretian named Daniel Alchemy.
The deceased Emperor's son took the throne, soon after Accretia declared itself a dictatorship. Being a more lenient leader, he quickly transformed Imperial Gaia into a republic, and allowed fleers from Accretia into his nation. Now having a new, just cause, the Gaians fought back hard, now fighting for liberation against dictatorship, as the Accretains once had. The new training program for the Parry Trooper began. These hardcore troopers were told never to quit, and were taught inteligence over sheer power. They quickly became the most efficient military force the world had ever seen. They gave the Accretion Empire a run for their money.
Aurelius was given the customary black Parry Trooper armor, and was promoted to Commander. Many people who had fled from Accretia now served in the Gaian military, fighting against their now unjust nation. Many of these people included ones with special abilities; among these was a friend Aurelius made during the war, Bingo Trevors.
Technology expanded, and the war raged on, the Accretian Empire's power dwindling against the united nation of Gaia. The battles became more epic by the day. Eventually, during a glorious air battle, the Accretians presented their new weapon. It was a giant green blob, with the consistency of gelatin, that had a metal core in the center. When the 'gelatin' was shot at, a hole was burned, but it quickly melted and created more.
The Accretians used this new weapon to their advantage, using it around all of their weaponry. However, without such a thick, gooey shield it was mostly useless. The main weapon that posed a threat was the large, blobby airship. In a dramatic finish to the Accretian Empire, the Gaians focused their full power on the blob weapon, as airship after airship crumbled. Enough of an opening in the gelatin became apparent to what was left of the Gaian military, and a bomber along with two wingmen flying by its side (one being Aurelius, himself) flew in and dropped their full power on the metallic core. As the gelatin began to close, the three ships flew out, one got swallowed into the flaming blob, but the other two escaped. All of Gaia watched as the weapon exploded from the inside, and its flaming carcas dropped into the sea. The Empire of Accretia surrendered soon thereafter. The day was saved. There was peace.

After Gaia had settled down, Aurelius showed his friend Bingo back to his wife in the distant land of Aimier, far north of Accretia. They had a long goodbye, having been through much together.

Five years passed, and Gaia had an economic boom in this period, after the war. Their production spiked upwards. All their cities became major technologically advanced metropolis's. They also helped to create a republic in Accretia, and became an allied nation with the newly found government. Gaia was at an all-time high.
Soon after, an armed remnant fought against Gaia, simply for the name of their crippled dictatorship. However, this war offered little more than an annoyance to Gaia. It was mainly based around a tropical island called Fugani, lying on the equator. This island was the remnant's central headquarters, adn was hard to push into due to the thick, tropical woods. Many battles were fought across the beaches of that island, as well as nearby islands. Parrys wore special outfits for the beach wars, including were open footwear, to suit the occassion.
Eventually it was found that the leader of the Remnant was one Daniel Alchemy. Upon the learning of this knowledge, Bingo Trevors re-enlisted in the Gaian military, and once again fought alongside Aurelius against the Accretians.
Aurelius, knowing of the struggle between Bingo and Daniel, helped him track the traitor down. Although he constantly advised Bingo to turn away from it and return to his love, but Bingo sternly insisted that it was his destiny to destroy the monster that he had failed to, years ago.
Upon learning of Bingo's wife's death, he quickly exited the battlefield and joined his friend in Aimier to help. Bingo explained to Aurelius that he had to leave; his duty was finished in the world. Aurelius begged him to stay, but Bingo wouldn't have it.
The war against the remnant soon came to a halt, and peace was acquired once again, Bingo exiting the known world to a life of solitude.

Fifty-three years passed by, and the end of the known world seemed at hand. Outsiders that used strange machines took city after city without end, cruelly killing innocent people in horrible ways.
The entire known world fought against the monstersin defense, but it was of no use.
Aurelius, now an old man, watched the world fall apart as the beasts' neverending conquering spree swallowed the land. The known world was in ruin, and there was no pause to the craziness. Platoons of men were abandoned in bombed-out cities to fight for their own. It was an absolute mess. The end of the world was clear.

With the discovery of the machine's origins in the snowy wasteland to the north, by way of Malian spies, all nations of the known world were notified, and united together, marching north.
The most epic battle anyone had layed eyes on was present in a blizzard in the northern wastelands. Millions of men poured in, ten dying every minute. Airship after airship being torn down to the frigid surface.
Aurelius joined them, along with a platoon of the best men of the Gaian military, on a secret mission to the central core of the machines power supply. They snuck deep inside the core, having cold chills that no machine had ever felt. They were attacked by several groups of machines, but most of them pulled through.
Aurelius took a laser weapon to the chest, and fell, wounded. He told the men of the platoon to live on for the future, for what is left of the world. Aurelius committed his final act of heroism by detonating a weapon inside the core. His life was taken, but the world lived on.
What was left of the machines, now left without orders, fled farther north, where there was surely another stronghold. But for the present, the world was saved. The new world was built upon the ashes of the old, and life continued.



In this separate dimension, Aurelius was born into Gaia, as he was meant to. At the present he is about twenty three years old, and enlisted in the Gaia military.
