Rikyu, the Son of Destruction
Name: Rikyu Soseki
Alias/Title/Nickname: Ben Shaddai Mal’ach (translated into Hebrew as “Son of the Angel of Destruction”) Age: 16 Gender: Male Race: Rephaim, or spirit of a dead Nephilim (was a Nephilim-Human Hybrid when he was alive) Hair: White Eyes: Blue Height: 5’9” Weight: 150 lbs. Theme Song: It's Not Over by Daughtry Weapon: Sword of Azazel- The weapon crafted by the very angel that presided over the arts of war, ornaments, and cosmetics, the Sword of Azazel was the weapon used by Azazel himself during the Great Rebellion in Heaven. The weapon is composed of adamant, the toughest metal in all of creation, and is indestructible by all means. The blade takes the form of a katana, and is housed in an adamant sheath, which has ancient, pre-Flood writing inscribed upon it. The weapon is capable of deflecting magical and elemental attacks, but the strength required to perform that is near Rikyu’s full strength. Although it is composed of adamant, the sword cannot cut through materials as tough or tougher than iron, due to the restrictions placed upon it by God before He gave it to Rikyu. All of the weapon is silvery in color, including the sheath. Armor: Supernatural Blessing of Immunity- All loyal servants of God and Lucifer that are in contact with their respective leaders naturally do not ever attack Rikyu with killer intent. This does affect those who do not know of Rikyu’s “importance”. However, those who serve God may be informed by Him of Rikyu while they are fighting him, should they have killer intent. Strength: Being a supernatural being, Rikyu is stronger, faster, more agile, and more physically able than humans. Having been transformed by God into a Rephaim upon his death, Rikyu exists as angels and demons do: without need of sleep, food, and drink, though he is able to enjoy those pleasures if he wants. Rikyu can, by whim, walk on water and other surfaces as if he was weightless, but he cannot fly. Capable of great leaps, Rikyu can fight flying foes to some level, and is also capable of wielding the Sword of Azazel well to some degree. Weakness: Rikyu is capable of death while in physical form, meaning he is not immortal. Unskilled in combat, Rikyu is inexperienced as a fighter, and is not good at fighting veteran fighters. Rikyu’s quick temper is also a problem in battle. His incorporeality/corporeality control ability has some technical flaws to it. Magic/Skills: Incorporeality/Corporeality Control- Being a spirit of sorts, Rikyu is naturally incorporeal, but he can take physical form if he so desires. While incorporeal, he acts as if he was in physical form, except he is intangible and able to go through things, invisible to the naked eye, and undetectable in any natural way. He cannot harm physical objects in this state, but can fight things that enter this state of being, as if on a separate plane of existence. He also cannot shift between incorporeality and corporeality often, or he’ll be temporarily stuck in an “in-between” state, where he can be affected and seen by both incorporeal and corporeal entities at the same time, but can only affect corporeal objects. While in this “in-between” state, he appears as a translucent version of himself. Personality: Burning with a hatred against those who’ve hated and manipulated him, Rikyu is very distrustful of people. Hating both angels and demons, Rikyu feels that he should be able to continue his existence freely, without being watched, manipulated, attacked, or even spoken to by good and evil angels. Hating humans for the cruelty they showed him while he was alive, Rikyu will not hesitate to kill someone he deems dangerous and a threat to his existence. Intelligent yet rebellious, Rikyu won’t hesitate to fight, and will occasionally go to places where warfare and battles are present just to have an excuse to kill. He cares little for the needy, and has a neutral opinion on God Himself, seeing He has done nothing bad towards him, despite the actions of His manipulative angels. Quick to anger, just like his demonic father, Rikyu will not tolerate those who are cruel and evil to others. He seems to fight for a self-righteous goal that does not (but should) reveal his own hypocrisy towards cruelty and malevolence. The Rephaim treats those of the opposite sex as he would his own gender, and seems to have forgotten how it is to be human again. Without a true goal or purpose, Rikyu wanders the Earth in search of a reason to continue his existence. Appearance: Full body picture of Rikyu. Biography: Long ago, when mankind had been cast from Eden and began to become fruitful, it came in contact with angels. The angels set to watch mankind, known as the Grigori, fell in love with the daughters of men, and took them as wives, and began sons for them. These Grigori were 200 in number, and their leader was Samyaza, one of the angels who led the rebellion in Heaven. Their children were known as the Nephilim, and they were men of great size and skill, and were renowned as heroes and were sometimes violent. The Grigori then decided to teach mankind the secrets of Heaven, and one named Azazel, who was the leader of the Nephilim, taught men how to make weapons of war, ornaments, and even cosmetics. This caused God to regret creating mankind, and decided to destroy them with a flood. Sending the Angel of Flame, Uriel, to Noah to warn him of the coming flood, God’s angels began to prepare for a maneuver they would perform to bind the Grigori on the Earth during the Flood. When the flood came, a large army of angels led by the Angel of Healing, Raphael, came to the Earth to bind the Grigori an unknown desert. They created a pit separately for Azazel, where he would be sealed away from the other Grigori. The name of the pit is Dudael, and as with the desert the Grigori were sealed in, it’s current location is unknown. After the Flood, mankind began to repopulate the Earth, free from the genetic corruptions the Nephilim possessed. However, the Grigori were only 200 in number, and Lucifer had thousands and even millions more angels at his disposal. Because of this, rumors of post-Flood Nephilim sprouted amongst the angels of God; all of them were verified by God to be true. However, without being able to destroy them again with a Flood, God decided to use mankind to eradicate the Nephilim once more. By calling the patriarch Abraham, and eventually creating the Jewish peoples, God created a chain of events that would ultimately end with the destruction of Nephilim existing in Caanan. Never again were so many Nephilim present in one place on Earth. However, God granted the souls of many Nephilim the right to exist as spirits which wandered the Earth, who would cause men and women to fall. This would mean that Nephilim could exist on Earth, but not in many numbers, such as those that makes up a nations. Thousands of years of later, in the country of Japan, a young woman by the name of Imare Soseki went out with her female friends for a night of partying. At the night club they went to, Imare met a beautiful young man that had a seductive aura about him. She began to speak with the man, whose name was Hideo, and Imare started to became infatuated with him. That night, the two made love, and Imare conceived a child. Unbeknownst to Imare, the man named Hideo was not human, but in fact a fallen angel named Asmodai. The fallen angel had seduced her to fulfill a dark prophecy given to the patriarch Enoch, which stated that a child born in a line entwined with the blood of angels, demons, and humans would become the tool of Lucifer to usher in the Apocalypse. In fact, Asmodai was the son of Samael, the Angel of Death and “brother” of Lucifer, and Lilith, the first wife of Adam. When Asmodai had died during the Flood, God had turned him into a fallen angel, a position that Asmodai used during history to influence mankind negatively. Asmodai was recorded to even have predicted King Solomon’s kingdom would be divided after his death, and eventually Asmodai and his fellow angels would “disperse among human beings again and shall be worshipped as gods because men did not know the names of the angels who ruled them". This cursed lineage and history would cause the initiation of the prophecy to occur at the conception of the child. Nine months later, the illegitimate son named Rikyu was born into a world that seemed to despise him. As he grew up, Rikyu started to become a burden to his mother, who had put aside her young life to raise her son. This caused Rikyu to feel like a mistake, and became depressed as time passed. At school, he was picked on and hated by other students, who were at the time being slightly influenced by fallen angels to do so. Rikyu started to feel a hatred for others, and started to become a violent child. At age 10, Rikyu’s life turned upside-down when his mother had committed suicide due to the difficulty of raising her son. The even more depressed child was taken in by his grandparents, whom Rikyu disliked greatly. The 13-year-old started to hate his grandparents, who were both strict and traditional in nature. An intelligent yet stubborn teenager, Rikyu became very rebellious both at home and at school. He became popular at school for starting fights and always contradicting the teachers during class. Rikyu started to gain friends, almost all who either hanged around him because of his attitude or his popularity with girls. When Rikyu turned 14, he moved to the city of Himeji, which seemed to shatter his rebellious attitude. Feeling alone and rejected, and with a great hatred for those he knew, Rikyu was ripe for demonic influence. At this point in life, Rikyu felt suicidal, and decided it was best to take his own life. However, when he was 15, Rikyu sat in his room and saw a fallen angel appear before him. Acting upon impulse, Rikyu tried to run, but the demon caught him and held him down. Surprisingly, the teenager did not scream, but only asked the fallen angel what he wanted with him. The demon replied by saying his name was Arioch, and he was sent to take his life. Smiling, Rikyu asked the angel what would he exist as after he died. Arioch replied that Rikyu would exist as a spirit that would exist only to make men fall astray from God. Rikyu then let the angel touch his forehead, which instantly made the teenager die. When he came into existence as a spirit, Rikyu asked Arioch what would happen next, and the fallen angel did not reply, but merely vanished. This led Rikyu to plan his future existence, and thought about tormenting those who picked on him while he was alive. As he continued to exist, Rikyu started to learn that he possessed spiritual powers as a Rephaim. He started to use those powers to torment others, and Rikyu started to gain the attention of good and evil angels. A good angel came across Rikyu stalking a human girl who made fun of him years ago, and the angel tried to kill the evil spirit. However, Rikyu fought the holy entity back, and the battle quickly ended as the angel stopped fighting and remarked that Rikyu was a Rephaim, or Nephilim spirit. Rikyu questioned the angel, asking him who he was and what he wanted with him. The angel, who was both cunning and wise, knew of Rikyu’s destiny, and decided to “help God out”. Although it was against Angelic Law that a good angel would influence a Rephaim’s existence, the angel explained to Rikyu that he was being fooled by fallen angels, and would be manipulated into destroying his own existence. Feeling at least a little fear of true death, Rikyu asked to angel to prove his statement, and the angel replied that God could use Rikyu as an angel of death, who were known as being cold-hearted and sometimes malevolent. Rikyu was interested in the offer, and accepted it, on the terms that he could continue existing as a spirit, and not an angel. Instantly, Rephaim’s appearance was completely altered into that of a young man, and a sheathed sword had appeared in his hands. Rikyu asked the angel in suspicion what had just occurred, and the angel replied by saying that God decided to give the Rephaim a gift for deciding to work for Him. The sword he was given was a weapon used by a great fallen angel during the Great Rebellion. He also said that Rikyu could take the designated lives without punishment from God, but only as long as he would remain a servant of God. Pleased with his position, Rikyu asked the angel about the angel Arioch, but when he heard the fallen angels’s name, the good angel’s expression changed to one of utter fear and shock. Without answering his question, the angel vanished, aware of the dangers that were to come. In confusion, Rikyu thought of a way to pursue the angel, but could not think of one. After wandering the Earth for a few days, Rikyu was confronted by a fallen angel, who was instantly shocked when he saw the weapon Rikyu possessed. Trying to coax the Rephaim into giving him the weapon, the fallen angel saw that Rikyu was aware of the threat the fallen angel had. The fallen angel attacked Rikyu, but the Rephaim countered the attack with one of his own. After fighting and subduing the fallen angel, Rikyu questioned him, and discovered that both the sides of good and evil were trying to manipulate him. Good angels had intended on using Rikyu and eventually turning him into a vessel for God, obligated to work of the Almighty One or be destroyed, while fallen angels intended on using Rikyu as a tool of Lucifer, who would cause chaos and destruction with him. Rikyu questioned whether or not Lucifer cared for his life, and the fallen angel, forced to speak the truth, replied with “Lucifer could care less about your life; all he wants is you to do the work he cannot”. After releasing the fallen angel, Rikyu told him to return to Lucifer with a message, “Tell your master that I am not the servant of anyone, not him, and not God.” As the fallen angel vanished, Rikyu ceased to be a servant of God, and would become enemies of both good and fallen angels. Rikyu felt that everyone wanted to use him for their own gain, something that he would not accept. He wanted to exist freely, not under the rule of others and not as a tool for good or evil. However, that would never be possible, as his rebellious nature would lead him to Armageddon, the place that he would meet the most rebellious one of all, Azazel. Re: Rikyu, the Son of Destruction
Hey, that's not too bad. I'm surprised it hasn't been approved yet. (See, I think the other approvers wait to approve the worst profiles last >> .) Anyways, I liked his theme song, kick ass.
*approved*
