Alura Fitaria
Name: Alura Neimi Fitaria
Title: Princess Alura Neimi Fitaria, Commander of the Fitarian Pegasus Knights Age: 29 Race: Human Sex: Female Hair: Long straight and blond Eyes: Teel Weight: 145 pounds Height: 5 ft 10.8 in Side-note: Alura’s Pegasus is named Nika and has been with her since she was only a child. She once belonged to the first queen of Fitaria and as tradition dictated it was passed on the newborn daughter. For this reason it is has been decided that the pegasus will never age. It is pure white except for its smoky grey hooves and blazing blue eyes. It’s six feet tall and has a pair of beautifully feathered wings paired with an equally nice bushy tail. The princess mounted an elegant leather saddle on the pegasus’s back and two leather ropes as reigns which go around Nika’s neck. She bears the Fitarian coat of arms on a luxurious piece of silk along her chest and continues along partially under the saddle. She flies smoothly in all types of weather and her vision is unaffected by rain and snow. Weapon: Elicia’s sacred bow. Like the name implies, it was once wielded by the hero Elicia who was one of the three chosen ones who fought against the great demon and saved the lands of Marinia from complete destruction. The bow was made from a special willow tree that used to grow in the western swamps but it has since withered along with the rest of the forest making it a much feared place. It is four feet from tip to tip and can shoot arrows with such precision that one would assume it had homing capabilities. The arrows are two feet long with Pegasus feathers at the end and a shining white gem at the tip. The arrows can pierce any common armor and burn severely pulled from wounds. Also, when she wills it, the tip will erupt into a bunch of golden ropes that will bind her foe momentarily. Armor: She wears the armor of her ancestors. It is extremely lightweight so as not to hinder her movement in the skies or on land. Alura’s armor is white with the traditional crimson along all the rims. A circle of gold jewels is embedded on the chest and along the wrist of her white gauntlets. She bears a tiny silver crown atop her blond hair and some silver boots with a crimson heel. Her round shield is tiny and depicts the Fitarian coat of arms which is a white castle with two wyverns on both sides and a golden orb directly in the middle of the castle. This orb closely resembles the one on her chest plate and its history dates back to the great battle against the demon. Alura’s armor only weighs about ten pounds which goes well with her slim figure. It is also extremely resistant to any magic related attacks; however this leaves it very susceptible to weapons. Strengths: She is a fierce warrior in the air and on land. Alura can ride her pegasus with unsurpassed ease and she has not once missed her target with Elicia’s sacred bow. No amount of rain or snow can stop the princess from riding into battle to fight for her kingdom. Weaknesses: Due to her light armor and slim figure she can be a pushover in hand to hand combat on land. She cannot wield a sword or any other weapon other than a bow which makes fighting at a distance a necessity for her. Her pegasus Nika is terrible against arrows and the weapons of men, and in the unique case that Nika does get hit, the princess of Fitaria will have to fend for herself. Skills/Magic: As already stated, Alura has exceptional accuracy and speed with a bow. Her arrows contain the magical ability to erupt into a bunch of golden ropes which will bind any foe momentarily. Alura also has extraordinary skills as a pegasus knight. Appearance: Princess Alura is essentially the traditional princess when she’s not wearing her pegasus knight armor. Her long blond hair goes down to the middle of her back and some of it fall down in front of her shoulders. Her magnificent silver crown sits atop her shiny smooth hair. Teel eyes are a hereditary trait of all the women in the Fitarian royal family. Alura has pale skin and lush red lips. She has narrow shoulders and undefined muscles on her arms and legs to go along with her tiny waist and very attractive breasts. She is most commonly seen in a striking crimson gown that flows down to her ankles. Around her neck is a golden medallion passed down through the women of the family. Silver high heeled shoes comfort her feet along the cold hard floors of the castle. Personality: At first glance Alura would seem to be merely a figurehead for the kingdom but upon a closer inspection one would find that she is a very wise and caring individual. Her mentor General Valor taught her about war and authorized private lessons to train the woman in the art of aerial combat. She knows much about the economics and suffering that her people endure and it is her strongest desire to spread peace and harmony across all of the great lands of Marinia. Even though much is placed upon her life, Alura is thew commander of the Fitarian Pegasus Knights and she leads her small troop and the Fitarian soldiers into battle. Biography: Princess Alura Neimi Fitaria was born into the Royal family one harsh winter’s day. As tradition dictated, the newborn daughter received Nika the pegasus, a beautiful flying stallion. The kingdom was undergoing many hardships at the time and Alura was seen as a beacon of hope for all. Her mother Queen Jasmine and her Father King Kyron were the rulers of Fitaria, the largest kingdom in all the lands. It truly was as a matter of fact, its many towers stretched up towards the heavens, its crimson flags blew violently in the winter winds. From below on the other side of the moat the citizens could see the many crimson guards through the crenulations in the stone. An enormous wall had been erected around the castle and the entire city, providing much needed protection from the raiders to the south. As she grew up she was taught sciences and math and the art of war from none other than the infamous General Valor of the Fitarian Wyvern Knights. However the subject that tickled the Princess’s fancy was history. She loved nothing more than to hear about her kingdom’s past from the battles that were fought, the construction of the city and even the creation of the land. Here is the history told by the royal historians... Long ago before people, before night and day and even before the sacred land of Marinia, there was but light and darkness. An entity appeared as if from nowhere and cleverly used the opposing elements to create everything we see today. The goddess Fayesha, with her shining golden power made night and day, earth and sky, life and death and when she created those that would uphold law and order in these lands, there were those that were fashioned who would do everything in their power to undermine it. Before returning to the lands of the gods, Fayesha left a brilliantly bright pearl that housed the forces of light as a means of repelling the evil that she had made. As she had predicted a vile group of men gathered together and with their mastery of the dark arts they produced a being so powerful that it could not be stopped. A shadow spread to every corner of the land and an in one penultimate attempt at restoring peace, thousands of men gathered and fought to bring down the great beast. It is said that in moments, the demon stood atop a mountain of corpses and proclaimed its conquest of the golden land. The pearl, that was held by the few people that remained glowed brilliantly and from their midst came three chosen heroes. Arkana the swordsman, Ellicia the archer and Nalora the mage each wielded weapons blessed by Fayesha herself and with their shining light they separated the demons soul from its body and sealed it within the golden pearl. The body was sent into the bowels of the eastern forest where it would rot for eternity. "Then after the demons demise Ellicia Fitaria led the people to the very centre of these lands and founded what is today the kingdom of Fitaria. Yes Alura, she is the first of your bloodline", Valor chuckled as he saw a strange look cross the Princess's face. Alura would often ponder this tale as she stood on the balcony and stared out into the eastern forest. “Is it possible for this demon to be revived?” she asked one evening. A fearful look crossed the general’s face, “it is said that the demon still lives in the golden orb, constantly suffering under the power of the light force trapped with him. He calls out for his body constantly, in hopes that one day he will be united with his vile corpse so that he can once again conquer our peaceful lands. But alas it is getting late, and these are not matters that a Princess should concern herself with. The golden orb of Fayesha is safe within these walls; now off to bed Alura you will need your wits about you for tomorrow’s math lesson”. Years passed and the young princess flourished into womanhood and immediately began her training as a pegasus knight. Alura and general Valor would fly over the kingdom of Fitaria and practice shooting targets with a bow and arrow. She was a natural, as if she had been born with these exceptional archery and flying skills. The bond between Alura and Nika had grown so much during their time together that they were nearly inseparable. Along with her princess duties, she became the commander of the Fitarian Pegasus Knights in place of Queen Jasmine. This was a group of seven elite guards including Alura who patrolled the kingdom’s borders occasionally and acted as messengers for the foot soldiers. One stormy evening when she was in her early twenties, her mother Jasmine informed her that General Valor had been killed in battle in the frosty northern peaks. Alura was devastated, she could not believe that her mentor, who had been like a father to her was never going to give her any lessons anymore or share his tales from the battlefield with her. The funeral that followed was a cheerless occasion. Thousands had gathered to pay their tributes to the general and the wyvern knights flew overhead in perfect formation offering their respects to their fallen leader. A few days later, King Kyron bestowed the honor of becoming general upon Bryce, the man from Tipando village who had more than proved himself worthy. Alura arranged a private audience with the new general and spoke with him about the deceased Valor. Bryce and Alura had an immediate connection as if they had been childhood friends. They spoke of anything and everything long into the night. The pair shared common goals with regards to the revenge they sought against the dark riders and the ice mages. And so in the middle of the night the general and the princess parted ways each going in opposite directions to prove something for themselves. Bryce desired to see his childhood home while Alura wanted to confirm the strange history of the demon. And so it was the that young princess of Fitaria grew into her role perfectly and assumed command of the Pegasus knights. But where had this kind man Bryce come from? Was the ancient legend of the demon merely a myth? Read part 2 to find out. Thanks very much for reading my character profile and if there is anything I can change please feel free to let me know. ~Cloaked Mystery Just to note the story makes more sense when read in the following order but it should be alright anyway.
