R'dosin, the cursed faerie
Name: R'dosin
Age: 273 years (young for a person destined to live 1000 years) Race: Cursed Faerie Sex: Male Hair: Black Eyes: Black with red flecks Weight: 250 lb with wings 190 without Height: 6'3" Weapon: Twin atlantian scimitars, Four short swords, and six throwing daggers. Armor: Doesn't need it Strengths: Has two dragon-like wings, and is trained in the art of Twelve blades. He uses anything at his disposal as a weapon, and frequently switches from blade to blade, thus maintaining an offensive almost impossible to predict. Weaknesses: R'dosin is prone to anger, which clouds his judgement. As long as he keeps his cool, he is a dangerouse enemy. He hates being taunted. Idle name calling bounces right off him, but any kind of threat to his skill really goes deep. Because he is a cursed fairy, light iritates him. Direct sunlight can severly wound him. Skills/magic: R'dosin can fly. He can summon a wings out of the shadows around him, so he does not wear them all the time. If he loses his weapons, he has the limited ability to summon a sword from shadows, but it is weak, and easily broken. R'dosin can freeze the weak minded with his eyes, but this is also limited. His most powerful skill is also a weakness. When angered, R'dosin can ignite fire upon his blades, and his attack power increases. But the catch is that he loses all regard for his own safety, and reason and judgement nearly go out the window. Appearance: R'dosin was human, so his skin is still the color of living flesh. He has many tattoos, though, like the one on his face that makes him look like his cheek was ripped off. He also has a thick red stripe drawn from each ear over both eyes, and false eyes are painted onto his eyelids. He has long hair that is tied back. He wears scarlet cape, and long black tunic. R'dosin wears no shoes, for his feet rarely touch the ground. A belt ties his daggers to his waist, and his scimitars as well. The four short swords are tied to his back. Personality: R'dosin is arrogant and inteligent to the observer, so he uses his tounge as a sword as much as anything. This has made him a lot of enemies. He has a very bad temper, but he tries to control it. As a cursed faerie, R'dosin is in self exile, perfering the company of other species. He has a fondness for humans rarely found in his species. He can be compassionate, kind, even loving, but perfers to hide these kind of emotions when around others, and comes off rather rude to those he first meets. Biography: R'dosin was actually a human named Ja'sin, and was destined to destroy a great evil threatening the world. When his father sister and brother were murdered by a demon, Ja'sin went after it, and died. Alia, a girl trained in ancient ways of healing, brought him back before he completley crossed over to the next world. This was a fated action that gave reason for many to believe it was Ja'sin that was to be a great hero to face the dark threat of Malhroth. Malhroth was a follower of an arcane sect of Faerie that worshiped Vothsys, the Lord of Undead Stars (black holes). Vothsys means literaly "Oblivion". Malhroth declared that he would enslave the world in the name of Vothsys, and destroy any who stand against him. Ja'sin was the desendant of one who first bannished Malhroth to the uttermost north, Ja'sin the First, and Ja'sin was to be the one who would find the power to destroy malhroth completly. Ja'sin went with Alia and a band of warriors deep into dark and dangerouse territory, to find the realm of the Faerie's who had not rebelled with Malhroth. There, they were to find the Sword of Life and Death, which would seperate Malhroth's spirit from this world forever. Alia was captured along the way by a huge skelatal bird, and was taken north. Ja'sin abandoned the quest to save Alia, leaving Alec, and Selia to find their way across the Seoli Desert. Alec carried a flute that would bannish the madness brought on by twilight when crossing the borders of the Faerie Dominions. Selia was a forest spirit they had encountered that claimed to be Alec's long lost wife. Together, they recovered the sword, and brought it to Ja'sin on the back of a Griffin. Ja'sin took the sword, but found that Malhroth had captured Alia, and he held her hostage with his power, ready to kill her with a single word. Just as Malhroth had planned, Ja'sin begged for her life, saying that he would pledge the all the power he had to Malhroth and Vothsys. Malhroth agreed to this, and transformed the power he was gifted to destroy evil, the Sword of Life and Death, and twisted him in to a Shadow Faerie. Ja'sin changed his name to R'dosin, and joined Malhroth for Alia's sake. As Rdosin, he destroyed the last kingdoms that stood against Malhroth, Slaughtered thousands, and handed the world on a silver platter to his new lord. R'dosin had outlived his usefulness, at least in Malhroth's eyes, and Malhroth decided it was time to kill both Alia and R'dosin. Underestimating the youth's power, he killed Alia first. R'dosin felt this immediatly, and turned on Malhroth, breaking free of his oath to serve him, and killing him with the power of sheer rage. Peace gradually took hold, and Malhroth turned into a frightening bedtime story. R'dosin continued to live, and realized that he had indeed fulfilled his destiny to banish evil. He forgave himself, and turned to honing his skills as a Shadow Faerie. Last edited by HonorableDarkness; 02-12-2007 at 01:11 PM. |

Re: R'dosin, the cursed faerie
Everything seems okay...but:
- The Bio could do with more detail about his life, and also who some of the people, like Malhroth, are. I'll check back when you've edited it. |
