Appearance: Dragomancers are an ancient order of Dragon tamers that, through magic, have turned themselves into demi-dragons. Wildfire has red, scaly skin, coal black hair that is short in the front, and shoulder length in the back. He has short horns that start in the top middle of his forehead, and frame the front half of his head before turning up at the points. He has wings that span eight feet, and a prehensile tail that spans four feet.

He has coal black claws on his hands and feet, and a large chest. His ears are long and pointed. Most people could mistake him for a demon, which is partly why Humans distrust Dragomancers.

Personality: Similar to Dragons, Wildfire is intelligent, protective, and strongwilled. He's a tough character, but tries to make friends rather than enemies so as to bring honor to his people. He likes being around nature, and feels uncomfortable in cities. In battle, he only uses enough force to subdue his opponent, and only unleashes his full power when he feels he's about to be killed.

Weapon: He prefers to use claws and tail to beat his opponent.

Armor: He relies on rough scales as armor, and his wings as shields, as they are both moderately resistant to physical and fire damage.

Skills: He can fly, and communicate with any Dragon. He can control his Dragon through a deep bond.

Magic:

Flame Claws: His hands burn red hot, and he can scortch opponents.
Fire Blast: A blast of fire from his hands or mouth.
Heat Wave: His body emits heat waves that force opponents back. It also has shielding prperties.
Explosion: A most powerful attack that consumes all. This spell can also be compressed into a ball and thrown.

Strengths: He has great speed, power, and agility. His bones are hard to break, and he can withstand almost any heat. All of his abilities are at their peak during midday.

Weaknesses: He can't swim, and can't handle water based attacks, or humid areas. He is weakest at night, and has horrible night vision. Since his wings are so big, he can't fly well in wooded areas.

If he uses his magic too much, or to too high a degree, he will overheat because he's half Human, and can't fully handle Dragon magic. In a nutshell, he could get heatstroke, or spontaniously combust.

Background: Out of all the beasts in the world, Dragons are the only ones Intelligent and strong enough to match up against Human magic and weapons. As one species takes up residence in the other's territory, tensions escalate. On opposite sides, there are the Dragomancers that use Dragons in everyday life, and Dragon Slayers who hold Humans superior to Dragons. Each side calls the other evil, and everyone in between emains confused after an eon of rivalry.

Ancient legend tells of a powerful mage who saw the Dragon's power and wanted to use it to its fullest extent. Unfortunately, he wasn't accepted by the majority, so he sought to transform himself. This resulted in a Demi-dragon who's power wasn't quite equal to the Dragons. This was more acceptable to them, so the first Dragomancer tained Dragons and learned their ways.

Wildfire is the son of two Dragomancers, and lives in a secluded valley. He journeys the world, trying to bring Humans and Dragons together and protect his people from Dragon Slayers and their followers.

Dragomancers often watch over eggs, and every Dragomancer takes a test to recieve an egg days before it hatches. He has trained this Dragon, who he named Zoshonel, as a guard dog. Zoshonel acts as a guard when Wildfire sleeps, and Wildfire rides him over long distance just as a Human would ride a horse.

Adolescent Dragons like Zoshonel are around the size of horses from shoulder to hip, though adults grow to emmense sizes. They are much tougher and faster than Dragomancers, but also are weaker against water based attacks. Wildfire only uses his Dragon in battle as a last resort or against multiple enemies, prefering to hone his own skills by fighting himself.

An interesting character here. I'm not sure about some of the theory behind him, but I'm not going to argue about it.

1) Introduce a downside for using Wildfire's magic.

2) Give Wildfire another weakness. The ones you have listed can't be exploited by most chars that are floating around.

3) The way you describe dragons and the way you describe Zoshonel don't add up. Could you fix that, please?

I gave him a drawback to using magic repeatedly, and that counts for the one other weakness. I think he had plenty before, since he doesn't do well at night, in forests and jungles, or in swamps and bogs.

I also erased the pack horse part for Zoshonel. I noticed the confliction earlier, but I needed a reason to not use the Dragon so much, as Wildfire is already tough.

On another note, I gave him the same fire attacks as Boomer because I was going to replace the Goron, but one of my friends really likes Boomer, so I think I'll keep him.

I like the bit about spontaneous combustion. This will do nicely.

Thanks. The SC part was mainly a joke. I don't like having characters killed, especially in such a way.
