Weapon: Cascade - this is a mythical sword passed down from champion to champion amongst the water lords. Its hilt is made of a natural metal and although the blade is a column of water, it cuts like razor sharp steel. The watery blade can also transform into a whip which is useful for defense.

Armor: Dark blue Kendo style robes with black trim and black belt.

Strengths: his liquid composition alows hydraxis to flex into positions most people could not. He also has the power to manipulate water and is resistant to fire
Weakness: Although resistant to fire, Hydraxis cannot withstand high and low temperatures as they weaken his strength. He is also susceptible to electricity.

Skills/Magic:
Regenration: Hydraxis has extensive regeneration capabilities when submerged

Torrent: Hydraxis can shoot out an intense beam of water at an oponent to knock them down.

Mist: Hydraxis is able to create a mist around the area reducing the oponents visibility. This is more a tactical meneuver than offensive.

Personality: As a water lord Hydraxis has learned the virtues of patience and calmness. Hydraxis is a passionate being who cares greatly for the creatures of the sea and is angered by those who abuse it. When faced with a situation, Hydraxis remains calm and formulates a strategy in his mind that will best suit the situation.

Appearance: Hydraxis is a towering 6 ft and has a medium frame. He has similar physiology and appearence to a human but he is composed of water whereas humans have a skeletal structure muscle tissue and blood. His hair however is not made of keratin, It is spikes of water protruding from his head. His eyes are a saphire colour and have no pupils.
Hydraxis weares a Dark blue Kendo style outfit with a thin, light metal plating underneath for added protection and wears a pair of sandals. On his wrist he wears golden bracelets which are inscribed with symbols from his language. Strapped to his back is is sword cascade, sheathed in a pearl and saphire encrusted scabbard.

History: Acording to the magi archives, the water lords first came to be when the earth mother decended into slumber. To protect the planet she had cultivated, she created gaurdians. Ents to protect the forests, mighty stone golems to rule the mountains, Dryads to control the skies and the water lords to watch over the vast seas.
The water lords, created from the strongest of magics, have incredibly long life spans. It is believed that they can live for up to 2000 years.
The water lords are a proud race and pride themselves on there vast knowledge and powerful warriors. Every millenia a new champion is elected to watch over and rule the creatures of the sea and it was this millenia that ydraxis was chosen as that champion and handed the legendary blade cascade.
Hydraxis considered himself to be a valiant warrior and trained hard in his combat and magical skills. He had always imagined himself as a champion like those spoken of in the legends of his people. It was after Hydraxis defeated the balhoom, a giatn squid that attacked his underwater kingdom, that he finally became the Champion of the people he always dreamed he would be and became the next in line to rule the people. Hydraxis accepted his title of champion and began to rule his kind for the next 1000 years.
now 500 years into his rule Hydraxis had become curious about the world above the great ocean and decided to venture into the land above. Leaving his most trusted Steward, Pylorian, in charge of the ocean in his absence, Hydraxis ventured out into the land.

Additional: To retain his bodly structure on land, Hydraxis relies on surface tension. If struck with a sword, the tension will break and Hydraxis will "bleed" water, thus weakening him. He can however recover after a battle using his regeneration technique (see magics/skills). (thanks to andurhill for this help)

*Ok, for weight, let's try something like, 140 lbs or so, which is a little lighter than your average 6' man, but he's water, so he'll be a bit lighter.

The thought just occured to me, though, that the human body is also mostly water, so in that I believe your logic is a little flawed.

I do have one question: If he's made of water, you mean liquid water, yes? If that's the case, how do you wound him without using fire magic? Normal weapons would be on no use. Come up with some more vulnerabilities for him, cuz otherwise you've got a pretty powerful character who could withstand most warriors.

Hmm never thought of that maybe i will just re-write his biology. Let me think about it.

I have a suggestion for a vunerlablity, after a while he freezes in the winter. Some battles are in the winter, of course.

STILL cant think of a solution to the said problem, Think im gonna have to re-invent this character.

EDIT: After searching desperatly for a solution, i turned toward Andurhill for some help and he was able to help me with the prediciment so thanks for that. As to your comment about flawed logic, I do know humans are made up from a large composition of water, I was just trying to point out that hydraxis is entirely composed of water wereas humans do have things such blood and muscle tissue etc.
