Victus Comros, Jedi Hopeful
Second Jedi Character, WOO!
Name: Victus Comros (called by his Last name) Age: 12 (as of 5 years after the Battle of Naboo), Born on July 20th, 39 BBY (BBY = Before the Battle of Yavin, the fight in which the first Death Star was obliterated) Race: Human Sex: Male Hair: Silver, long and flowing. Eyes: Blue Weight: 85 lbs. Height: 5’2 Weapon: Before he becomes a Padawan, he does not fight. After he becomes a Padawan: A turquoise Lightsaber. I shall have a picture up as soon as I get my scanner working. During much contact with systems in other galaxies, the Force has gained a strong connection to this Lightsaber, forcing it to be able to fight other types of enemies, namely those without Lightsabers (a Lightsaber would slice right through a normal sword), when necessary. Since it is Comros’ tapping into the Force that activates the Obrin, the Force controls the entirety of the Lightsaber’s emitter parts, causing the molecules around the Lightsaber to wrap around it, solidifying it. This makes the energy field that is the Lightsaber’s blade into a fairly hot, and just as light, slab of sharp metal. When facing another Lightsaber, or material that can resist it, (such as a Phrik alloy weapon) the Lightsaber acts as normal. Note: When the Force does this to Comros’ Lightsaber, it is completely out of his ability to stop it. Armor: Traditional Jedi robes, and a bracelet of Phrik Alloy on each of his wrists. Strengths: Comros shows interest in Lightsaber Form II: Makashi. A detailed description of this Form from Wikipedia.com: After Form I's proliferation as a saber combat technique, Form II came about as a means of lightsaber-to-lightsaber combat. It is described as being very elegant, powerful, and requiring extreme precision, allowing the user to attack and defend with minimal effort, while his opponent tires himself out. The form relies on parries, thrusts, and small, precise cuts—as opposed to the blocking and slashing of the other forms. The blade manipulation required for this form is very refined and requires much focus, but the results are extremely potent. However, as ranged weapons such as blasters come into play, the advantages of this form become less useful, but this form of lightsaber combat is still very potent against multiple opponents. Form II emphasized fluid motion and anticipation of a weapon being swung at its target, allowing the Jedi to attack and defend with minimal effort. Although many Jedi historians considered Form II to be the ultimate refinement in lightsaber-to-lightsaber combat, it was dropped in favor of Form III combat when blaster weapons became prevalent in the galaxy. In addition to his prowess in Makashi, Comros is also very quick, agile, and (later on in his Jedi-hood) deadly with the Lightsaber. Weakness: Comros is normally a very lay-low person, and has extreme respect for those who deserve it. However, he is ruthless at times, and can sometimes let his strength get the best of him in battle, making him vulnerable to attack. His speed is easily daunted if the person he is fighting has better speed than he. Comros knows not of arrogance, but often, he will accidentally get in over his head with a stronger foe. Skills/Magic: Access to the Force. Appearance: Comros’ face is simple to that of a child, contrasting to his wise-beyond-one’s-years silver hair and blue eyes. His clothing is a typical Jedi robe set. He is only a young Padawan, so he is rather short. Personality: Comros remains cool most of the time, but does speak up occasionally. He is a member of the Jedi Order, so his respect for people can rise easily. He is normally kind, but will do what he must for the Light Side of the Force. When he battles, he fights with fierce determination, and is swift to think of complicated decisions. Biography: Comros was born on Ballistant, a very large moon of one of Coruscant’s sister planets. Ballistant was much like Earth, with oceans and landmasses, and a calm and stable atmosphere. Comros’ life was pleasant for his first 3 years, when he was able to walk and was soon discovered by the Jedi Council. One day, around the time he was 3, Comros was walking in the forest with his 15 year old brother, Ajan, and the two heard a noise. It sounded like the ignition of a Jedi’s lightsaber; Ajan and Comros loved watching the Jedi in action upon the HoloNet when they could get the chance. Taking the opportunity, Ajan took his younger brother to the source of the noise. What a sight they saw! Jedi Master Mace Windu stood there, purple lightsaber in hand. In front of him stood a much younger Jedi, a green lightsaber ignited in his hand. By the look on Windu’s face, the younger Jedi had done something horrible, and was soon to be punished. Circling around this young Jedi, Windu spoke. “Ostonoir,” the Jedi councilman said, entering Aggressive front stance, “I will give you one more chance. Back down, and I will not expel you from the Jedi order.” Ajan’s face perked up, as he lifted Comros onto his back. The young Jedi in front of Windu then rushed in, sweeping down at Mace in a flurry of quick and elegant strikes. Windu easily blocked, for Ostonoir could not have been more than 15. The duel continued for a few more minutes, until Windu stood still, looking deeply at Ostonoir. Comros stood back, jaw dropping at the Young Jedi’s dueling skills; thus began his infatuation with Form Two, Makashi. Windu stepped back. “Your skill in Form two, Makashi…” said Windu, blocking every move made by Ostonoir, “…is quite powerful. You remind me much of Master Dooku, although I think he would have had more sense than you.” Ostonoir scowled. “You underestimate me, Master Windu!” he yelled, using the Force to flip up and around Windu, continuing his massive assault. “I don’t need your Jedi Code, nor do I need the ways of the Dark or Light Side. I will take this Lightsaber and be on my way, thank you!” Windu sighed, sensing the two boys watching from afar. “Fine,” the wise Master said, retracting his lightsaber and placing it on his belt. “I tried to reason with you, but it appears that will not be an option. You are a danger to the Council, the Republic, and yourself. In the name of the Galactic Senate and the Jedi Order, you are under arrest.” The Jedi Master then extended his hand, and Ostonoir was flushed to the ground with the Force. Windu then turned Ostonoir around with the Force, and tied a set of handcuffs to the Young Jedi’s arm, seizing the boy’s lightsaber firmly. He then turned to Ajan with a face that said “stay here”, and walked off. Soon after, the sound of a Starship rocketing off towards Coruscant was heard. * * * Later that day, Windu returned, and found Comros and Ajan still in the forest. He was led back to town with the two boys, where he had a discussion with their parents about sensing an amount of Force power from within Comros’ body. With a quick blood test, Windu found that Comros’ midi-chlorian count read 18,000 (or so he would think, as it would be proven later in Comros’ life that it was indeed much higher). And so, Windu took Comros back to the Jedi Temple, where Comros began his training as a Youngling. His mind forever touched by the duel in the forest, Comros had a permanent interest in Form II, Makashi.
