Damian

Ok, I hope I'm allowed to make another character since my last one was dissproved. Anyway here is my try at an original character...


Name: Damian

Nickname: Dame
Age: 125, appears about 19.

Race: Celtic vampire

Sex: Male.

Hair: Short, black hair.

Eyes: Dark red.

Weight: 180 lbs

Height: 6'0.

Weapon: Celtic Sword. Blade Length: 23 ½” Handle Length: 7” Overall Length: 30 ½” Weight: 4lb 4oz. The sword has a bronze handle, wrapped with leather, for grip, set with a small crystal. It has a bronze sheath, to carry the sword.

Armor: Leather mail, gauntlets, and shin guards.

Strengths: Damian is extremely quick with his sword, moving it in intriquite patterns, at magnificent speeds. Also, after he was tattooed with the the holy mark of the Celtic sun god, he became immune to certain vampiric weaknesses, he was able to go out in the day, which actually strengthened him because the sun was there, he wasn't weakened by holy crosses, either.

Weakness: The moon is Damian's greatest weakness, if he is exposed to it's light, it slowly drains the power, right out of him. Another is archers, since he has no means to block it, besides weak leather armour. Finally, anything driven through his heart would kill him, immediately.

Skills/Magic:


Appearance: He has short black hair, that is just above his eyebrows. He wears a plain white t-shirt, with leather mail over it, leather gauntlets, leather shin guards, and regular moccasins. He carries his sword on a sheath at his side. He has a medium build and is fairly tall. Also he has a tattoo of a circle with one vertical line going through it, and two diagnol lines, that form an X, on his right arm. This is the Sun wheel, or Wheel of Taranis, the Celtic sun God.

Personality: Damian is usually calm, cool, and relaxed, during a battle, but if he is pushed hard enough, he will get angered and attack in a raging fury, which doesn’t tend to help him out in a battle. Outside of battle, Damian is very tight with money and tries to haggle whenever he can. He makes friends easily, but loses them just as fast.

Biography: Damian was born in a small village. His father, Adam, owned a small shop, that sold household appliances, etc. His mother, Laura, stayed at home to take care of Damian and his other siblings. He had one brother, Martin, and one sister, Monica, they were twins. As children they lived a happy life playing together, but Damian soon found out he was different from his other siblings. At age 11 his eyes turned dark red, when the dominant eye color for the family was brown. At age 15 his front two teeth became extra sharp and pointy.

"Father, why am I so different?" he asked

"Son, there is something we've hidden from you, for it would get us all killed, if revealed. he took a deep breath. You are a full blood vampire. We found you as a baby and raised you as our own, we didn't know of your secret until you were 5 years old, by then we couldn't let go of you.

Damian was speechless, he couldn't believe it, he was a vampire. He immediately realized that this was a terrible secret, which he must keep, at all costs, or his family would be doomed.

"Father, I will keep this secret, no matter what." he said, quivering slightly

Damian looked up, to see tears in his father's eyes. After this Damian felt like his whole life had been changed. Soon after, at age 16, Damian developed night vision and a weakness to the sun. His father told him they would have to be very careful, for he looked even more like a vampire now. Soon the villagers became suspicous, no matter how careful they were, someone always managed to notice Damian's appearance.

One day the villagers formed a meeting in the town hall, to which Damian and his family weren't invited. They discussed what they thought of Damian. Soon there meeting turned into a mob of angry villagers.

"Kill the freak!" they chanted

They moved quickly towards Damian's house, holding torches and random items to use as a weapon. Damian's mother, Laura, was the first to notice them. She quickly caught on and warned the others.

"You must leave, now!" yelled his father

"I can't leave you..." Damian replied

"Don't worry about us, you are the one in trouble. Before you leave, promise me you will never come back or come looking for us" said his father

"I promise" whipsered Damian then his father pushed him out the door

Damian ran as fast as he could, he ran and ran, and didn't stop running until he was satisfied with the space between him and the village. That night his family tried to flee, but they were unsuccessful. The mob caught them and they were hanged the next day. After that, Damian made a vow to weild his fear, holiness. He was tattooed with the holy mark of the Celtic sun god and he weilded the Celtic sword. Damian didn't brake his promise, he never returned to his village, or looked for his family...
