Elban, Knight of Justice

Elbans mind raced. The desert winds blinded him in their swirling rage. Tearing at his skin and reducing his movement to almost a slow crawl. It had been raging like this for an entire day now, and the surrounding area began to grow dark. Elbans clothes were filled with sand and it chaffed at him horribly. Often times as he crawled through the sand, he felt like screaming at the tops of his lungs. But what would that accomplish. He must save his energy. " Foreward, easy does it, thats the way. Just...foreward." He would say to himself. Sometimes as he made his way through the dunes, we would drift in his concentration, his mind and body begging to be back in the arms of his wife and two childeren, he would call out their names.
He had just drunk his last pouch of water, his throat crying in thirst pangs. Suddenly, his arms and legs gave out.
A month wandering through the desert would do that to any man. His face came in contact with roasting grains of sand. It burned his face, but Elban was to exhuasted to do anything about it. " This, is the end of me..." He thought. His last thought before he lost contact with reality was: " Let me say goodbye to my family."

Elban awoke, unable to breath, instantly inhaling a mouthfull of sand. All was black and he was buried underneath the dirt. The storm had covered him with it during the night. Elban panicked, flailing about wildly. At first it seemed as though he was stuck in hardened concrete, but just as suddenly as he had been awoken, his hand broke the surface. Then his second hand. Then his head poked through, gasping for air. His throat burned with the sand grains swimming inside his mouth. But when he had finally come out of his plight, his eyes showed him something his mind could not comprehend. A great dome rose up in the middle of the desert, so large was its perimeter that at first Elban thought it might be a great rock or small mountain. It was only about a mile off, and Elban knew that something this great couldnt be a mirage. Stumbling and sometimes tripping, he wandered towards it, hoping that some people there, if there were any, might give him just one drop of life sustaining water.

Weapon: One Long sword, with a secret power that blinds its opponents with a star like light. A cross bow that he rarely uses. Keeps it locked up at home.

Armor:Chain mail suit, shield with celtic like cross on it. It retains a repellent force of magic that disarms many magical spells and jinxes.

Skills in Magic: None

Strengths: Anything to do with a sword, although he has just begun this career, he is highly skilled. He is an excellent tracker, is a long distance man, and is known for stealthiness in the woods. He uses the darkness of night to his advantage when the job calls for it. Has been known to carry a cross bow but rarely. Has never fought against any kind of beast, but would be determined to defeat it if the time came.

Weaknesses: Is not the best on horseback, and prefers to walk. Magic and enchantments can sometimes be weakness for him. He has never fought creatures before nor has he fought a wizard or a witch. Magic seems to be his achilles heel. Another weakness for him is has family. If his family were to be kidnapped or attacked in some way. He would become distruaght and almost histarical.

Personality: Determined, curious, and always willing to help. Loves to have fun while carrying out his work ( i.e. singing songs to annoy criminals and playing mind games with them.) He has always loved his family and his family is his critical support. Sometimes he has a tendency to let his mind drift. He worships a christian esque God, and is very firm in his beliefs. Being a traveler, he has made many friends on and off the job. He loves a pub and a group of old friends with him when ever duty doesnt call. He loves music and enjoys dancing with his wife. He is, in a sense, a magnet man. Someone who people are just attracted to.


History: Born as a hard working country boy, he grew to love the land and the animals his family took care of on it. Was 11 when his farm was raided by bandits. His brother was taken captive by them, but his father, being a old knight, brought Elban with him to rescue his son and they did. After that, Elban swore to do the same for anyone outside his family because he wanted to help others. When he was 16 he traveled to Monora Castle to ask for a teacher. After a week of deliberation and testing by the kings scholars, Elban was accepted. Trained as a Knight, Elban first began his career by protecting a family from a bandit attack, ever since then, people would ask him to escort, protect, gaurd and infiltrate in the name of justice and all that is good. Some times reffered to as " The White Knight" or " Elban The Honorable"

You don't have to post an intro thread to the Dome in your character profile. You only do an intro post once a teacher has picked you up. Also, go back and read this thread for help in constructing a good character profile. Revise accordingly, and we'll see if it's approvable material then.
