Gahara
Name: Gahara (guh-HAAR-uh)
Age: 67 (looks 40 years younger, gotta love that elven longeivity) Race: Elf Sex: Female Hair: Silver and shoulder length, tied in ponytail rarely. Eyes: A deep sapphire blue Weight: 103 lbs. Height: 5'7" Weapon: Lindegarde. A beautiful rapier, jeweled with diamonds along the straight edge of the guard and studded with an emerald where the gold wire-wrapped handle meets the pommel. The blade matches her eyes and is unbreakable. Armor: Light upper body armor matching her hair in color, allows free movement. Elven forged and very strong. Strengths: She is inhumanly strong, fast, and alert, and is attuned to the flow of magic and thought. Weakness: She is vulnerable to Dark Arts and powerful magic-users. If her magic is every completely used or taken, she literally dies. Weakness to dragon mana(IE. their fire breath, or any other magic they release) Elemental energys in general are a bit more effective than other types of energys. More advanced creatures(sentient beings) can distract her mind if she's listening to her thoughts. If she's listening to any creature, she can't block other creatures. Damage to her body (not her armor) will take the same effect as if she was a human (ie. extensive bleeding, pain etc.) Skills/Magic:She can hear the thought of any unsheilded mind and speak telepathically. She can also use magic(grarmayre) either in the form of spells in the ancient language or if forced, silently. Personality: Mirthful and easygoing, she enjoys a challenge and has learned the blessing and the curse of magic. If you can have anyting you want in a few words, then the process is what makes life interesting. She doesn't take magical shortucts and will not use magic unless forced(another magic user or a dragon/etc.) Although she hides behind a face of elvish joy and laughter, she becomes very distant and quiet sometimes, remebering the sorrows of her past. Appearance: A very slender young woman, fairer than any human by fay, with her high cheeckbones and slanted eyes. She has pale skin, like all her people, and silver hair accented by sapphire eyes. For battle, she is garbed in light body armor, elven forged and strong, allowing freedom of movenment. She is of medium height and is very slim and fit. History: Born during the war between dragons and elves, she grew up in constant fear of the gargantuan creatures. Both sides had taken heavy casualties, and the war seemed near it's closing. However, she would suffer greatly before that happened. Enlisted to fight among the others at age 21, still young by elf standards, but full grown, she greatly admired her commanding officer. Rising in rank although the elves suffered embarrasing defeats, she became greatly respected and her armor and sword were forged when she received a promotion putting her in charge of a small group of men. Harboring the adoration for her now-fellow officer, which blossomed into love, they did something rare among elves, and planned to have a child. The next campaign they were sent on blossomed into a large battle, they fought valiantly side by side, but in the end her mind was overwhelmed and she was placed under mind control. Turning, she drover her blue blade into his gut, spilling red life on the both of them. Collapsing on top of him, her mind wept for release as her body moved to finish him. With his dying breath, rather than heal himself he sent a surge of magical energy at the wizard holding her and muttered an ancient word of death, fading from life as she regained herself. Tears preventing the bloodstains on her clothing from drying, she bore his body all the way to their home town, burying him in a beautiful clearing. She resigned that day, and the war was ended not long after, with a pact among dragons and elves to prevent such things from happening again. 34 then, she went on her way, leaving the civilization that was her home, and journeying the land. Later she returned, and pledged her service to the elven monarch. She became an abassador to dwarves and dragons, and later humans, when their civilization surfaced.

Re: Gahara
Asside from a slightly short-winded history, not bad. I's suggest a Weakness or two more though, as those two that are there are too hard to exploit by anybody.

Re: Gahara
excuse the double post, but I'm done editing now. Look over her weaknesses again. Is that enough?
