Amy Keir
Copyright 2002. Blitz, Drake, Amy, and all characters/storylines/concepts surrounding them belong to Silver Lining Co.. Use of these without my permission is strictly prohibited.
Name: Amy Keir (maiden name--Amy Lewa) Age: 25 (27 including the years she’s been dead) Race: Human Sex: Female Eyes: Deep brown Hair: Rich brunette, straight; bangs fall in front of her face; tied into a ponytail with a red bow; falls to the small of her back. Weight: Never ask a woman about her weight. ![]() Height: 5’ 6” Weapon: The mist staff has a relation to the Supernova, having been created by the same mighty warriors that crafted Blitz’ weapon. True to its element, the mist staff is composed entirely of ice, and has the ability to unleash a spray of mist to cloud the area and blind the enemy. The length of it is rather misshapen and jagged, but it is six inches around at its widest and two inches at the thinnest. At the top, it forms a large hook much like a cane, so it can be used for more than bludgeoning the foe. Using this weapon requires power over the ice element, which Amy has; due to this, she can reform the mist staff if ever it is sliced in half or destroyed. While not being used, it morphs into a tiny beautiful crystal that hangs on her necklace chain. Armor: Amy wears no armor due to her small and light frame. Strengths: She exerts great skill and control with her weapon and can efficiently dispatch weak foes with her elemental powers; also, Any is almost completely invulnerable to the ice element. She rarely fights on her own, and is almost always found with her husband at her side; they are a team to be reckoned with. Weaknesses: Amy cannot take a hit at all, and has a very low tolerance for pain. In addition, she has no truly devastating abilities and is not physically strong enough to take on powerful foes. Without someone at her side, she is defenseless against physically stronger enemies. Skills/Magic: Amy utilizes the elemental power of ice to freeze her enemies, and also possesses powerful healing abilities. While technically the ways in which the ice element can be used are virtually limitless, she prefers to stick to a certain few abilities. Freezing Cascade: Amy’s most well-rounded offensive move; she can fire a blast of energy ranging in temperature from freezing to sub-zero (the lower the temperature, the more energy is required). As the energy extends, it turns to solid ice in mid-air and falls to the ground once the move has been executed to its full. It is quick, effective, and requires little charge-time. Freeze Lancer: This is less of an ability and more of an offensive strategy. Using her power to manipulate the form of solid ice, Amy creates a six foot shaft on her right arm that narrows to a sharp point at the tip. This lance, which is much more dangerous than her mist staff, can be used as an alternative weapon if the foe proves physically more than Amy can handle. Tundra: This ability blankets all nearby surfaces (dirt, rocks, plants, and any other non-living things) in a sheet of slippery ice. Enemy movement is affected, but Amy can manipulate the ice as she moves along it, making travel for herself effortless. It requires a large amount of energy, but is not very difficult to cast and takes very little charge-time. Snare: This one requires very little energy and can be cast instantly. With this ability, Amy can quickly encase any small inanimate object in a sheet of ice. Using this on light-weight foes’ weapons can make them heavier than the enemy can bear, but it will not affect runic objects as well as it would any other. Of course, any fire-based spell or ability could easily render Snare useless. Imprisonment: An advanced form of Snare; Amy focuses condensed energy into a small orb and hurls it at the enemy. Whatever it contacts is smeared with a sheet of solid ice which dissipates in exactly twenty-four hours; a perfect move for when an escape is necessary. The technique can take several minutes to charge and there is no guarantee that the enemy will be unable to break free, but it is still one of her best offensive abilities. Cure: A healing-based power that resurrects the dead body tissue of still-living individuals. It can knit scars, close wounds, and even heal bad burns, but requires more energy than other healing abilities. Phoenix Rebirth: An ability so powerful that it can bring a person back from near-death. However, it requires so much elemental energy that if the user does not pass out immediately after casting, they will be terribly debilitated and unable to fight. Regenerate: This healing ability causes the body to constantly regenerate health and can quickly rid the body of diseases or toxins that would hinder their combat ability. It does not, however, knit broken tissue or close wounds. (Note: For an explanation of how her power works, see Blitz’ profile. I’m not writing all of that again.) Theme Song: Reflections of Emotion (e-mail me for the track, the file's too large for ZU) Appearance: Amy is breathtakingly beautiful by any standards. Perhaps adorable is a better word, though. Being slightly shorter than Blitz, she has a very slender build and petite figure. With a heart-shaped face and cute smile, she can easily make new friends with those that would often make enemies with her husband. Her hair is long, glossy and always well kept, and her skin is fair and clean. Gazing into her deep brown eyes can soothe even the most troubled spirits and bring calm even to raging beasts. Her voice makes her sound very young, and is often likened to that of an angel by more poetic individuals. Amy most often wears a white blouse and a ridged blue skirt that falls to just above her ankles, both of which give off an air of purity. Delicate pearl ear-rings adorn her fair ears, and a single diamond ring is fitted over her left ring finger. (Hands off, she’s taken! )Personality: Amy’s good-natured camaraderie have always discouraged lecherous acts from nefarious people, and her sometimes girlish ways can persuade even the most stubborn politicians; hence, her effective diplomacy. While her vocabulary is not overwhelmingly vast, she has a very strong way with words that can quickly give her the upper-hand in a debate. While she may be in service to a secret organization that wages war with a wicked syndicate on a virtually daily basis, she does not like to fight. She consoles her conscience with the reminder that Dark Horizon would enslave the world were it not for the resistance effort. However, the highly unpredictable maternal phenomenon is always present; Amy will fight to the death to protect her husband if necessary, and is very vengeful toward all those that endanger her family. Before marrying her, Blitz sometimes referred to her as “the mother I never had.” Amy also has a dominant motherly quality about her that truly shows when she is around her daughter, whom she is very protective of. Anyone who endangers Terra had better be prepared for a slow, painful, inevitable death. History: Amy was born into a wealthy family with parents who were kind and showered her in every material want she could hope for, but did not truly love her. As a direct result of her father’s career choice, the Lewas moved often. Three days before Drake was kidnapped and Blitz ran off to the rescue with Jacqueline, Amy’s family had just moved into the neighborhood and was early in the process of getting settled. At the time, she was only twelve. She met Blitz through Drake the very day of the incident; she and the future swordsman instantly clicked. However, when the incident occurred, Amy did not see or hear of the young boy for another five years. Shortly after the incident, Mister Lewa was laid off; however, he was more than wealthy enough to retire, and retire he did. That small house in Austin, Texas became their home… until yet another startling occurrence. When Amy was seventeen, Kyros the Dark Armor ordered and led an extermination on the small suburb in order to ensure the destruction of a group of informants. What of the Tears had been gathered were sent to prevent the extermination, but the mission was ultimately a complete failure. While a few of the informants escaped with their lives, nearly every single civilian in the town was killed. It was a massacre. The panicked citizens were no match--nor of any use--for the dark lord, and so he struck down every last one that presented itself. Somehow recognizing her from so long ago, Blitz managed to rescue Amy from the dark lord’s grasp, but it was too late for her family. The Lewa heritage was all but lost. Determined not to let her fall into such a predicament again, Blitz convinced his old friend to join the Alliance and fight alongside the forces of justice to prevent just such bloodshed; she reluctantly accepted. For years she fought alongside the boy, and they soon grew very close; closer than friends. Drake grew to think of her as a sister, and she of him a brother. It was five years after Amy’s membership that Dark Horizon was defeated in such a way that the Alliance believed it would never rise again, and she talked Blitz into leaving the rest to the cleanup crew. The two were finally wed at ages 20 and 21 (respectively), and stole away to build a mansion in the hilly remains of Roma Mater. Slightly less than a year later, Amy bore a daughter: Terra Keir. Together, Blitz, Amy, and their daughter lived in the Hills of Mater for five more years. And then something terrible happened. The Dark Armor appeared once more, as if from nowhere, and seized Amy. Blitz tried to protect her, but was not strong enough to face the Dark Armor alone. Kyros overpowered both of them and, after brutally beating Amy, hurled her into the sea beyond the hills. Blitz dove in after her, but it was too late. With her dying breath, Amy mournfully called out the name of her love, and encased her body in an impenetrable sarcophagus of ice. She awakened two years later to the sight of her lover’s teary eyes… Battle Rank Player: Wielder of the Sword Character: Amy Keir -- the Crystal Goddess Innate Element: Ice Overall Rank: III Strength: I Speed: III Elemental: III Skill: VI Current Battles (In Chronological Order): Innocence More to come! Re: Amy Keir
You know, I'm still referring to you as Keiji whether you like it or not.
![]() Lol, thanks buddy. Now I have to wait till the end of CMoC and chunk her in the Dome. I've never fought with Amy (even in fics), so I have no idea how I'm going to use her. I think I'm going to do a character fiction about how Blitz ressurects her apart from CMoC. I've already got a nice little opening lined up in my head, so let's see where it goes.

Re: Amy Keir
Damn it, Safer, I was going to approve Amy! Lol thats okay, though, I'm just glad she's back. I was waiting for that time, I had expected it to be right when CMoC ended, but I guess it isn't really required, is it? We all know whats going to happen ...
Anyway, just so you know, I would have approved her too, your writing is getting better and better every day ... it looks to be better than mine, at least oO. I look forward to fighting Amy in the BA in the near future. |

Re: Amy Keir
Keep in mind you'll be fighting Blitz as well.
As the Strengths section said, she is rarely seen apart from him. A Red Mage (for lack of better words) and a White Mage make a formidable team, especially when the former's strength lies in speed. It's kinda wierd, though... You guys act as if you know her. I mean, I could understand Bloodsword's reaction. He's known about DL since the days of the old ZU. But I wouldn't expect Keiji to be so familiar with her. After all, the two of you have just met. But play nice! Remember, she represents my dream girl. Touch her, and you die. ![]()
