Weapon: A long samurai sword called the “Tetra Steel”. It’s able to channel the energy that Hanzo draws from his body.
Armor: Samurai armor that was once his father’s. The powerful steel protects his chest and stomach. He also wears leg, arm and shoulder guards. There once was a helmet, but it is long lost.
Strengths: Hanzo is cool a precise. He frees himself of emotion during battle, preventing any remorse. Also, he keeps calm and never lets anger drive his blade. His swordplay is both quick and powerful and his armor is quite strong, it would take a very powerful strike to pierce it.
Weakness: Due to the many years of battling, Hanzo has become relatively cocky and tends to expect all conflicts to be over quickly. If they’re not, he sometimes lets his guard down and tends to go for a killing strike rather than playing it safe. He’s also getting old and can’t move quite as fast as younger warriors. He’s reluctant to kill women, but he will if he has to. When he casts magic on his sword it requires intense concentrations to keep it up in the thick of battle. Also his poision his only fatal when contact is made to the neck or major artiry.
Skills/Magic: Hanzo has sorceresses’ blood flowing through his veins. Although he is unable to actually cast magic spells, he does have the unique ability to channel magic through his sword, Tetra Steel. As a result, he is capable of engulfing the blade in flame, give it a poison blade or even channel electricity through it. Because of the magic channeled through his sword, the blade is unbreakable.
Appearance: Hanzo has a cold, stern face. His hair is tied in a ponytail that sticks out into the air. He has a scar on his right cheek, dangerously close to his eye. His samurai armor is silver and red, although the silver has become stained after years of use. He wears brown sandals, dark green pants and red gloves. His sword has a blue hilt with a long white blade.
Biography: When Hanzo was young he lived with his mother, who was a sorceress. His father was killed when he was a baby, yet Hanzo was well aware that he was a skilled samurai. His father’s armor was erected in his house, and it inspired the young Hanzo to learn the way of the blade. When he was six his house was raided by men who feared his mother’s strange powers. His mother was murdered, but Hanzo escaped. He wandered aimlessly for days but was finally taken in by a farmer and his wife. They had a son the same age as him called Ryo and they both grew up as brothers. When they were seventeen they left to join the imperial army. It was there that they expanded their already basic sword skills. However, in their second year as soldiers Hanzo discovered a superior officer who wore what was unmistakably his father’s armor. Apparently, the officer had stolen it from a raided house years ago. Enraged, Hanzo murdered the officer, took his father’s armor and fled for his life. He became wanted for murder and was left with no choice but to flee the land. Ryo, not wanting to leave his brother alone, went with him. For years they both traveled the land as mercenaries, making ends meat and perfecting their swordplay. It was during this time that Hanzo discovered his magical powers and began to hone them He tracked down sages and sorcerers who could help him achieve the power that he wanted It was with their help that he mastered the fire, lightning and poison spells He still wasn't content though and vowed that he'd learn more. He also acquired a special sword and named it “Tetra Steel”. Over the years Hanzo became a ruthless killer, and even Ryo feared his powers. Finally, Ryo decided that he had enough of that kind of life and left Hanzo in search of a place to settle down. Hanzo felt betrayed and swore that he’d kill his brother if he ever saw him again. Hanzo continues to roam the land. Yet now he prefers to fight for the thrill rather than the money. He stopped being a mercenary and instead lives off the stolen money of defeated foes. He has become somewhat merciless and now his only goal in life is conflict. He's a loner, and although he would never admit it, he misses his brother terribly. As he travels he continues to attempt to learn new magic spells, but is frustrated by the fact that he can't seem to master any new ones.
