Omaru

Well, here's my character! (And first post! Wee!)


Name: Omaru
Age: 13
Race: Hylian
Sex: Male
Hair: A very untidy, jet black, and shoulder length mess. ^^
Eyes: Dark Brown
Weight: Nani? I honestly have no clue... Erm... 146 pounds? All muscle!
Height: 6'3 (Hey, it's only 3 inches taller!)

Weapon: A bow with Fire Arrows/normal arrows, and short sword. Plus, anything I can find on the ground.
Armor: Does a sheild count? It's just a Hylian Shield...

Strengths: Has the ability to block out/dull pain (depends on severity. If I stub my toe, I can block it, but if I get stabbed in the gut... I can dull it, but I'm still in pain... a LOT of pain, most likely), very quick, and I have semi-enhanced strength (I'm stronger than average, but I'm not exactly Superman).
Weakness: VERY short attention span, bad memory, tendency to trip on things, and can't resist a chicken. Pet the chicken! Yay!
Skills/Magic: My Fire Arrows...um...and my...Fire Arrows? :confused:

Personality: Bordering on insanity, and has his own fighting style, the dreaded... Hamster technique! *watches as people faceplant* ^-^ It's essentialy insane, all-out brawling. I make TOTAL use of my enviorment, things on the floor, and any opening (fightwise, not like a door..maybe a hole in the floor ) Like I said, I'm random, semi-insane, and have a hugely bad memory/attention span. I could be fighting Ganon and get distracted by something shiny. I'm generally a nice person, and help others when I can. Except when I get mad. I go on a senseless killing rampage until my opponent is defeated/dead. It's really bad, and I don't remember it afterwards... It's what I did to the people who killed my parental units (more in history).
Appearance: Like I said, jet black hair, dark brown eyes, and 6'3" in height. I've got a lean frame, not skinny, not muscular, in between. (Not fat! I mean in between those.) I generally wear a shirt with a green main part and hood, long orange sleeves, whitch have green Japanese symbols on them. A circle of orange symbols encircle a dragon and tiger fighting on the chest. I also wear black pants ripped on the knee. I wear plain boots, too. I carry my bow and arrows on my back, and my sword is in a scabbard on my waist.

History: I was actually born in Hyrule Castle Town, I guess most Hylians are... As it usually is, my parents were killed when I was around 9 or 10. I didn't learn this until later, but it was because my parents were gaurding some sort of sacred object for the royal family. Seems they were allies. Anyway, some robbers (most like Ganon's Moblins, but they wore hooded robes, so I couldn't tell) broke into or house, and were caught saearching for... whatever it was. I came out just as they killed my father. They decapitated him and the leader swallowed his head. Then they started laughing. This was the first time I went into one of my psycho rages. It's amazing what you can do with a potato peeler... After I killed the Moblins, the castle gaurds came in, and I gave them the thingy (I didn't see what it was, 'twas packaged)...Afterwards, I spent a year in an orphanage, before escaping into the fields. I have never entered that city since, and no one has bothered to find me. I swore to kill any servant of Ganon I saw, and, if I ever met him, the king of evil himself. I then spent 3 years in hard training, helping people, and the like. Then, when I felt I was ready, I exited the forest (not the Kokiri one, just some random woods) that I usually stayed in, and set out to fight evil, help people... And raise some rupees. I'm young, but strong and ambitious!
Usual hangouts: Lon Lon Ranch, Kakariko Village, but usually Hyrule field.

Any new (quality) writers into the BA are very welcome. I will probably be ignored, since I'm new and obviously can't aprove you, but I felt you needed at least an informal greeting to the boards. A 13 year-old character. Interesting!

^ Umm...my first character was 12, and my new Mirren is 13, plus we've had younger than 11...age is really that interesting huh?

A 13 year old who is 6 foot 3, acts like an adult and can use a sword for unknown reasons is interesting.

I didn't want to come out and say it, but if you insist on being sarcastic...

Well first I thought you just meant his age alone was interesting, but still, I've seen some other crazy stuff on here in time. I believe someone made a 6'6 13 year old once, close to that. Trust me, once you've spent over a year here you know about loads of characters ^_~

I like characters that make sence, personaly.

I wasn't loved enough as a young child.

*gets down on one knee doing double rock-on hands* XD ALRIIIIIIIIIGHT! Sorry, I was guessing on the weight... o_O NO idea how much I weigh...Anyone know what would be normal for my character? And, in real life, I actually DO have a sword, and I'm working on it. Cost a bundle, tho...That and the archery... And I'm actually six foot one now... I GREW AN INCH IN A STINKING WEEK! XD 2 more and I match me character.
