Exclamation Gerudia

IMMA GONNA TRY THIS AGAIN............STILL WORKING ON IT.

Name: Gerudia

Race: Goron

Sex: Male

Eyes: Blue

Hair: None. He's a Goron.

Age: Somewhere between 25 and 30

Height: 7'0"

Weight: 350 lbs.

Weapons: Gerudia uses his fists, feet, and entire body. More on the Melee Attacks section. He also carries around a Biggoron's Sword...but only uses it when he really needs to.

Armor: Gerudia is made of hard rock and thick skin. His back is made of very thick rocks and has rock spires jutting out everywhere on it.

Strengths: Gerudia is very skilled in defense. Some melee attacks and weapons can pierce his skin (for example: sharp swords or spears). Very few melee weapons or attacks can scratch his rock-laden back, and when he is curled up in a ball as defense, there is little physical means of damage you can deal. He is extremely resilient against wind and fire based spells. He is slow, but he can curl up into a ball and roll around very fast. Earth-based spells do no damage at all.

Weaknesses: Like I said before, he is slow. Water/Ice spells deal a massive amount of damage and Gerudia isn't very fond of the cold. He cannot swim whatsoever, he only sinks. It is this reason that Gerudia cannot cross streams or lakes in a flash. He has to go UNDER them...unless he is on a boat or other water-faring vessel.

MELEE ATTACKS

Dig: Gerudia will burrow underground by spinning rapidly in place. This flings up dirt and rocks, often causing the opponent to be blinded by the debris.
When Gerudia is underground, he can make a fast escape from battle by digging away from the battle or lunge from underneath his opponent to send his foes flying.

Goroll: Gerudia's innate sense and ability to roll comes in many uses. When he is rolling, few things can hurt him. He can roll very fast to barrel through obstacles, barge into an opponent to do serious damage, roll recklessly and bounce of walls and terrain like a pinball, or he can use it to travel great distances. Since his "shell" has sharp spires on the back, he can also roll up walls and easily traverse mountain ridges if he moves slow and careful.

Super Goron Punch: Gerudia will wind up his fist charging his muscles, body and mind for a devastating blow. Winding takes about ten seconds, so he can't use this willy nilly, nor can he use it all the time. After he winds up, the resulting punch can decimate rocks, walls, metal, or if it hits an enemy, can deliver a mortal blow. This is very VERY hard to hit an enemy with, as Gerudia must stand still for ten seconds winding up. So instead, he uses it as a utility and tool instead of a weapon.

Shockwave Smash: Gerudia will smash his fists into the ground, creating a large shockwave that deals damage to all enemies hit by it. Gerudia can use this as much as he wants without fatigue or attack power dropping, but it can easily be avoided if you know what to do...

SKILLS TO BE LEARNED

Cataclysm: Gerudia will stomp the ground with all of his might, creating a massive earthquake that demolishes buildings, causes mountains to rise up from the ground, and huge pits to form in random spots within the Cataclysm's range. This does insane damage to all enemies, regardless of type, except flying creatures, and does extra damage to HUMAN-type characters. It also changes the entire terrain to Gerudia's benefit. All those mountains, holes and debris is a Goron's dream. However, Gerudia must wait 6 hours before he can attack with Cataclysm again.

Earth Bomb: Gerudia will dig underground, then resurface carrying a massive clod of dirt and rocks over his head.He will then throw it at the enemy. This does immense damage to small enemies (Anyone smaller than Gerudia) and moderate damage to large ones. This attack is very slow, so it takes a while before he actually gets around to throwing it.

Storm Spin : Gerudia will spin rapidly in place, bringing up a giant cloud of dust. This dust hinders an opponent's an opponent's accuracy, making it miss with all melee attacks for a few minutes. (2-3). Spells hit perfectly, though.

Spells:He's a Goron! Gorons don't know magic!

Appearance: Gerudia has the general bulk and shape of a Goron, but with a few minor differences. The back, instead of smooth rock, is covered in spiky stone outcroppings. His shoulders bear the Goron's tribe mark on them, and his head has several spikes on the top. Gerudia doesn't really wear much, except for tattered black pants and steel gauntlets. He also wears a belt with a few sachels full of items attached to it and a hook for latching Biggoron's Sword to.

Personality: Gerudia sure acts...differently than the other Gorons do. He has a nasty habit of picking his nose in public, and punching holes in walls when he doesn't get his way. He isn't very inclined to fighting, he would rather defend. He loves to sumo wrestle with other gorons and he always likes to pick on anyone of Kokiri decent. Eating rocks and relaxing in hot springs are his favorite things to do, but unlike other gorons, he likes to swim in lava too. Gerudia would rather be around other gorons than people, but he manages to get along withmany different races...except the Kokiri. Rumor has it that he has a pet Dodongo named Boomer...but that hasn't been confirmed yet.

Biography: Gerudia has a really...intersting past. He was born in Hyrule like other gorons, but instead, he was born in the Dodongo's Cavern. He had an interest in dodongos, although he didn't know that they didn't really care about him. When he was young, he would wrestle with other goron kids and always win the matches.

In his teenage years, he would train with Darunia in the art of fist fighting. His skills were very impressive, however not as good as Darunia's. In a shocking match between him and Darunia, he actually came out on top. It was this action that earned him the trust and reverance of the other gorons. Gerudia mastered his fighting skills and was given a medallion for his efforts.

When Gerudia reached 18, he wanted to go hunt some dodongos with his buddies. He ventured off from the group, and found a baby dodongo that never attacked him. This dodongo followed him through the caves, but still never attacked. It is unclear what Gerudia did about it, but some gorons say that he is hiding the dodongo in his room, feeding it and growing it.

Gerudia left Death Mountain at about the age of 20. He wished to seek out and start a life away from Death Mountain. Darunia was pleased by this, seeing his favorite goron "brother" leave the Mountain. He gave him one of Biggoron's Swords and a small golden rock as a goodbye present. The golden rock seemed to have no purpose, but it has a big purpose...Gerudia just doesn't know it yet...

On his journey to Hyrule Town, he met up with a small Kokiri boy running around in curcles. He never said "hi" or even did anything to help him, he just stood their and laughed at how small and funny his clothes looked. This may be why Gerudia rips on Kokiris all the time. He was getting close to town.

In the town, he wandered through the streets and alleys looking for a good house to start a life in. It was then that he saw a poster of the Escapist's Haven, a place where battles and adventures are always happening. Gerudia liked this, and found an oppurtunity to start a new life there. When he returned to Death Mountain, the other gorons were happy for him. He never really left Death Mountain, he still visits every week to see how his buddies and parents are doing...and maybe also take care his pet.
