Alexi

**Another character I whipped up. Hope it's cool enough.**



Name: Alexi


Age: Because of their mixed descent, she has an extended life to that of humans. She has lived almost 60 years, which is equivalent to about 20 in a human livespan.

Race: Her clan is of human descent, however a far beyond ancestor was of mixed blood.

Sex: Yes please...just kidding...

Female


Hair: Has short black hair that hugs her face down to her chin.


Eyes: Pale Orangish color.



Weight: 140lbs.



Height: 5'11"


Weapons/Skills:
Alexi's weapons consist of her psychic summoning power, a chain gauntlet around each arm, and her two small blades (Midnight and Twilight). As an accomplished summoner from her clan, Alexi can use her abilities at will and to their full extent. Her "gift" allows her to create monsters and fabricate them from her mind. The creatures usually end up similar to real animals but tend to have slight alterations due to the creator's personal taste. The creatures can perform various attacks depending on what type of monster they are. Alexi can also perform a rare act, in which she will meld into the creature, becoming one with it. She tends to only perform this if in dire need of it; this ritual consumes a lot of her stamina and energy. And every creation is summoned by a ritual in which the creature is formed with the offering of Alexi's blood.

Alexi wears two chain gauntlets around each arm. They consist of a thick metal ring around her wrist and then several strands of chain twist around her arm up to her elbow, clamping onto a thinner, tighter wring. When Alexi creates a monster, a strand of chain unclamps itself, and forms a "leash" onto the creature, giving Alexi full control of it. She can control several creatures at one time. As a weapon, she can use her psychic powers to manipulate the chains to attack with the long serrated blades on each end.

Alexi's two small katana like blades (Midnight and Twilight) are used mainly for close encounter battles. She is also able to manipulate the chains and combine the blades with chains to create formidable swords or create deadly bladed chains.


Armor: Armor is frowned upon in her clan's practice. It is thought to be to troublesome when in battle.

Strengths:
Alexi is quite fast and tactful. Her agility is unmatched within her clan. She also has a natural resistance to evil creatures, due to her inheritance of the mixed blood carried down in her clan.

Weakness: Other summoner's tend to gain an edge on her, especially if they are more powerful. She can also get bogged down by unrelenting, quick attacks, for she isn't that strong in physical combat, though she can hold her own.

Skills/Magic:

Alexi's chained gauntlets can deflect attacks. And her main defence is her monster's protection of her. And her rare feat of combining with her creature gives her near impenatrable defence. Though nothing is impossible to penetrate.

Personality: Alexi is naturally quiet, and soft-spoken. When faced with confrontation, she is quite the leader. She will speak in defence of her beliefs, and she is quite valiant in her attempts to protect others and weaker comrades. Her clan is thought to be evil because of their "gift" but the direct opposite is true. And Alexi is quiet defensive of her people. From the destruction she has encountered, she has begun to dissapate from reality, experiencing slight manifestations of insanity. However these occurrences are rare; though with each day, she can feel herself slipping further and further from the world.

Appearance:

Her face is thin and smooth, angulating downward. Her eyebrows are thin and dark. Her skin has a soft paleness to it and seems paler in comparison with her garments.

From her waist to her ankles is a dark ebony skirt. Two strips of thin cloth mirror each other down the front and back to form the skirt. Large slits down each side separate the two sides.

Tattooes of dark symbols and runes run from her wrists to her neck and then down the length of her back, centering around her spine. Many thin leather straps wrap around her chest and to her belly-button and wrap downwards to her back to expose a large "V" like area on her back. A large leather choker studded with many silver stones runs around her neck and connects to her top, via a single strap.

History:

Growing up a prominent summoner, she excelled in her clan village. Reaching head summoner by age 17(in human years) she had gained respect throughout her entire clan's region of inhabitance. The mixed blood also shown bright in her, giving her exaggerated psychic ability, and made her the perfect weilder of sommoning and her guantlet chains. She was challenged and barely lost to a neighboring village's hight summoner who proved that experience can make the difference. A great war among the continent erupted, and her people were called upon by the human army to help them fight.

A juxataposition occurred and they were lured into a trap in which hundreds of her people were slaughtered. Her and the man she lost to, Rarus escaped in the carnage and were broken up in the fleeing. Alexi returned to her village to find the remnants of an abandoned city. She now searches for any trace of her people, and Rarus. Finding bits and pieces of tales that lead her across the continent.
