Name: Joker, the possibility of his real name being released is highly unlikely.
Age: 19 - A year older and still he annoys people to no end. Obviously doesn't learn his lessons.
Sex: Male, yes he still is. Some things don't change.
Hair: Ice blue hair that hangs to the middle of his back in a long tail. The top half of his hair is actually done is layers just short of getting tied, these usually falling to ear length before flicking out in spikes at the tips. His fringe falls into his eyes, a messy spiky affair that parts over his left eye and has many strands that fly in a haphazard manner above and to the sides.
Eyes: Deep purple with a light blue ring around his pupils. Lately when he uses his Dream Weaver powers the blue ring glows brightly.
Weapon: Twin daggers that Joker can manipulate to change form and affect his surrounds, as well as anything from his current surroundings and possibly from surrounds not so current.
Strengths: Confusing and annoying people faster than the norm. He is highly skilled when it comes to acrobatics, being able to use such tricks and flips mid-battle to escape in the nick of time. He doesn't boast supernatural speed, but he is known for always being a quick observer, thus able to analyze situations and quickly respond to them on reflex; namely ducking things moving towards him quickly or twisting out of the way of attacks. Having a vast array of items at his disposal that his opponent cannot possibly know of before hand as well as a magical pair of daggers which will be explored in more detail below.
Weakness: Low endurance. Wouldn’t hold up in a war but he will get his way through a small skirmish if he’s lucky. He’s more accustomed to bar room brawls and alley fights. Using his portals mid battle takes its toll after awhile, making him slower to react to things he would have normally been quick to respond to. Unlike physical exertion, portals are mental and thus cannot be cured by a quick stab of his daggers.
Skills/Magic: Dream Realm Skills: Subconscious Manipulations- Can enter people's dreams and thus, manipulate them. This first level of manipulation deals with the dream itself and can easily have little side-affect, perhaps only leaving the Dreamer with a more 'real' dream and thus making them tired and wary. Repeated occurrences can result in Dreamer's losing sleep and becoming stressful. Some perhaps start thinking they are insane. To get to this level, Joker would need to repeatedly visit an individual.
Beneath the Surface, Lies Truth - A power all Weavers have, they can delve beneath the surface of Dreams to see exactly what parts of a dream are tied strongly to the Dreamer. These things glow with an aura matching the Dreamer, and if manipulated strongly affect the Dreamer more strongly than repeated nightmares ever could. It is playing with these key elements of a Dreamer's Psyche that mean the difference between insanity and a suicide. Aside from that, it is used to see the inner personality of the Dreamer, through examining the symbolism of the items that glow.
From Thought Came Creation - Joker is the only Weaver known to be able to craft items out of Dream Ethers and then take them into the physical world via his portals. Given appropriate time, the items he can make are endless in what they can do, defying what ever logic would hinder their creation normally. For these items, only Joker's imagination is the limit. So far he has a wide collection of explosives to use as distractions, as well as other curious devices.
Portals: Joker creates portals to the Dream Realm and possibly, from there to another location. He usually can only portal to places he's been to, but lately has found himself in lands he's never seen nor heard of. Unlike normal Weavers, when Joker goes to the Dream Realm in his physical body, he can still enter dreams as normal. The only difference is that if Joker dies within a dream, or on the Dream Paths somehow (since things there aren't 'real') it will be a permanent death. For other Weavers, they just go into a coma.
Portals - A Storage Bin - Joker has a home in the Dream Realms that he uses to store various items he has created. Mid battle, he can create a hand sized portal directly to one of these rooms and pull out the necessary items, like the aforementioned bombs, therefore negating his need to carry physical goods and surprising his enemy at the same time.
Portals Mid Battle, An instantaneous Appearance - Joker makes two portals instead of the usual one when appearing behind an opponent. The first goes to the Dream Realm, the second goes to the desired location. For those who would predict where a portal would open from the initial one, they would only see it leading to the Dream Realm first. In battle, this is a strain as Joker forcibly rips open two portals simultaneously instead of going in one, closing it then opening the other. It also shows how much command he now has over his portal abilities.
Daggers Magic - The daggers were crafted in the Dream Realm, Joker's main idea of having a weapon that would abide by his wishes to the best of their ability. He was surprised to find he could carry them through the portal and that in the Real Realm they still carried the properties of being crafted in a world where the will created a way. Joker is still learning various techniques with them the following being the tried and tested:
Imaginary Cut - Joker can command his daggers to pass through physical items/people.
Ties That Bind - A form of Imaginary Cut, in this case Joker commands them to cut through non-physical things. For instance, Joker uses this to cut away the fatigue from his limbs, thus giving him a 'second wind' so to speak. He can also use this to cut away feeling in limbs.
Out the Other Side - In a single slice, Joker can tell his dagger to specifically cut one thing only. In a hostage situation, he can tell it to pass through one person harmlessly and, in the same swing only do damage to the other. In a practical way, he can pass through walls and hit a person on the other side without leaving any holes.
With Thought Comes Form - Joker can manipulate the physical form of his daggers. If he can imagine it, they can do it. So far, his main use is to extend the blade into a steel whip that can attack enemies at long range, either stabbing or wrapping around them in a trap. In one case, he fused the two daggers together to create a hover board that passed air through to fly. Logically, it wouldn't work, but since his mind said it could, it did.
Temporary Upgrade - Usually the daggers are of normal strength, but in cases where he is being overpowered Joker can and has commanded them to gain a sharper edge or point . This can range from being able to slice deeper into armor or to cut cleanly through bone - though the last doesn't really fit with Joker's personality. He doesn't like to hack limbs off people. That being said, perhaps one day he will give them magical attributes.
Appearance: Middling of height he has dark golden skin that contrasts with the icy blue locks of hair that frame his face so haphazardly.
His eyes are vivid against his face, the icy ring that surrounds his pupil causes disconcert among those who meet his gaze.
Joker has decided to abandon his flouncy appearance. Now, he dresses in a casual manner. He still has a black choker around his neck, jokingly with a little bell on it. He favors cargo pants, the many pockets making it easy for him to reach in and pretend to pull something out when he is really opening a portal. Because it's him, his pants usually are more complicated and thus have zips to change the length from shorts to three-quarters and then just above ankle length. Around his waist is a checkered black and red belt, the extra length dangling down his waist. He now wears a long sleeved shirt, usually white underneath a short sleeved t-shirt. The t-shirts all feature a logo of a crowned smiley face, the eyes white plus signs while the mouth is spread in a sharp toothed grin with a tongue poking out. T-shirts vary in color between black, red and purple.
On his left wrist is his old leather wristband, black with a feather etched into it in an icy blue, a gift from Kinrei. His right wrist has a black sweatband decorated with symbols from a deck of cards.
Personality: Joker is of a most cheery outlook. He lives up to his name with his antics and skills at annoying and entertaining those in his vicinity, although some cause of this irritation is from how he continually refers to himself in the third person.
Joker can and does ignore all insults aimed at his person, he willingly enjoys riling people up and is quite used to the way people automatically think he's an idiot or a fool. Usually he has an ulterior motive behind his actions, so if they are willing to think of him as stupid, they'll be none the wiser of his true goals.
During his graduation, link provided below, his mind reverted back to what it was before he was a Weaver, the personality of what Joker would be like were it not for his constant travels into a world of whimsy. Needless to say, that personality was a lot colder and more self-centered, finding others to be a drag and detrimental to his own personal wishes.
Biography: Joker was born in the busy city of Aramiel to wealthy parents who own a great share of land in the state. As he grew up he never thought it was strange that when he closed his eyes to sleep he would be transported to another realm, a place where he could alter the dreams of those who wandered past on the dream roads.
When he told his parents of such things they mistook it for the imaginations of a young boy growing up in a place where anything he wanted was given to him, and so they played along and were never the wiser to his powers. As he grew older he realized what he could do was not so commonplace and he cherished his ability to leave and explore worlds of his own creation as well as being able to share those worlds with the dreamers. Yet his power had a burden, he realized that he could bring happiness to some and destruction on others as his dreams played with their psyches.
Thankfully he isn’t as morally corrupt as most rich people are, thanks to his one time fiance: Kinrei de Moncrieff. Oddly enough she wasn’t rich as he was, she was quite the average girl down the street. Except that she could also walk the dream paths with Joker and she was an insomniac making her quite bitter to everyone who could sleep. When Joker met her as a child he’d been drawn to her for her temper and her animosity and from her he learned not everyone was so lucky as him. He does continue to keep contact with her, even if he only gets monosyllabic responses or, if they meet in the dream realm, a punch in the gut and insults.
So again, thanks to her steadying as much of his personality as she could, Joker is more or less emotionally stable and socially acceptable... to a point. He is hyperactive and friendly to people, kind of like a very enthusiastic puppy.
Recently, Joker had stumbled across a place referred to as The Dome. He doesn't know how he got there, being as he'd never been there before and it was the first case of his portals depositing him in a place he'd never been to before. While there he met and teamed up with a girl half demon, Aleena, where they had to pass several tests alive to 'graduate' from the Dome. Here, Joker had to confront a certain part of his personality that he was not willing to give up as yet.
Updated: pretty much everything under the Skills/Magic section to clarify what he does with his daggers and how the portals work and what items he 'could' have. Appearance has changed as well as his age, not that those really need approval, I guess.
