Name: Lilith Shadoweaver
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Race: Demon
Theme Song: IIEEE by: Tori Amos

Weapons: A dark sword named Zunta. Zunta can destroy barriers created from holy entities. Lilith also has a black wolf named Keiba.

Keiba (key-bah): Keiba is the wolf of darkness. Making him, the second part of a wolf, the dark side. (refer to Lyia then scroll down to Lutai) Keiba has the ability to slip into the shadows, and nearly vanish. He is an exceptional fighter. He also has the ability to summon the darkness, increasing his strength.

Armour: She wears a purple cloth that covers very little of her body. She tends to dislike wearing cloth that covers her body. Her wings also act as a shield to protect her.

Strengths: Lilith’s dark entities are very strong. She can destroy most holy and psychic. She can shred them to pieces. Also, her skills are increased at night.
Weaknesses: Lilith hates the sunlight. Lilith is greatly weakened in the daylight. Her powers are the greatest at night, and they are neutral during twilight. Holy attacks have a great affect on Lilith, but her dark attacks have a great affect on holy entities.

Skills:

Dark Orb: Creates a ball of dark energy that is fired at the enemy.

Dark Shield: Covers her wings in a dark protective aura when she uses her wings to shield herself.

Dark Wing: A dark aura surrounds the wing/wings making a razor sharp attack.

Apocalypse: Lilith’s most devastating skill. A giant wave of dark energy that obliterates everything within a half mile radius. But after this attack, she is at great risk due to all of her energy being drained from this attack. If this move is used to much, she can and will die.

Appearance:

Lilith

Keiba
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...lith/Keiba.jpg
Zunta
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...lithsword1.jpg

Personality: Lilith is a dark being of sorts. She once was an angel, but after a certain crime, she was banished. She despises all angels, and wishes that they would all just die. She also see's mortals as inferior beings.

Bio: Lilith once was a beautiful angel. Beautiful as they come. But she had a dark heart. She hated the holy magic and skills and only wanted to train in the dark arts. Her wish came true on day when she found a demon, on the outskirts of the city, testing her dark attributes. A sly smile came to her face, this would be the perfect oppertunity. She silently glided down to the demon.

"Angel! What are you doing here?" The demon spat.

"I have come to learn how to be a dark master. Teach me, will you not."

"Hmm, I have never had an angel pupil before. Tell me girl, what is your name?"

"It is Helena. But I dispise that name! Give me a name only fit for the darkness that I will learn."

"Alright then, Helena, you shall be named, hmm a name for one such as you. Ah, I have one, Lilith. You are now Lilith. But I must warn you. Once you learn the dark arts, you will be forever transformed. Your wings will change, as will your body. Do you still want to learn?"

"I want to be rid of this holy body. I want to feel dark and dirty. Please teach me!"

"Once you are on the road to the darkness, there is no turning back. And if you are caught, you will be banished. But let us begin."

As Lilith trained, her wings lost there white shine and softness. The feathers changed. Slowly but shurely, she was turning into a demon. And she loved the feeling, but one day, she was caught and banished to the mortal realm. She would stay there forever. But Lilith did not care, in the mortal realm, no one could stop here. She would use the mortals to do here biding, and those who resisted, were killed. She was a tyrant of sorts, and everyone knew it. But no one resisted. The only humans, who did not mind her, where her closest guards. They were treated fairly, they got food, drink, and sleep.

Not a day went by that Lilith did not enjoy watching the mortals suffer. But eventually, she did begin to grow weary of it. But an interesting day came to her, the day she met Keiba. The wolf had a dark aura, close to hers. It was traveling her direction, and she had not realized it was an animal. She thought it was another demon. Until she met the wolf, head on.

“A wolf, how odd. Wolves don’t have such an aura, unless they were once owned by a demon. This ones demon, must have died recently.”

Lilith looked straight into the eyes of the wolf, and how cold and heartless they were. And as she continued starring into them, a recent event came to mind. The day she had met the angel, and her wolf.

“This wolf, could it be the other half the angel was talking about. The half of the wolf, they are two wolves. One black, one white. The black on has the dark aura, the white one has the holy aura. Combined they make an ultimate force, but the two wolves were separated long ago.”

Those were the angel’s words. She had sensed Liliths aura, and figured it was the wolfs. Lucky for the angel, Lilith had not felt like destroying her, that day anyway.

Lilith decided to keep the wolf, it may prove itself to her. And perhaps, this wolf was the other half. The dark half. The next time Lilith met that angel, she would destroy her. And luckily for Lilith, that day came, quickly.

The angel had obviously felt the second dark aura. It was mingled with Liliths, but it was there. The angel had flown directly to Lilith, just as Lilith had wanted her too.

“So, the angel has come looking for the wolf I presume.”

“You found the wolf, ehh demon.”

“You would be wise to hold your tongue, I was once an angel like yourself.”

“I know you were, Lilith. I’m not stupid.”

“Apparently not, if you know who I am. Now the question is, who are you angel?”

“Hmp, I’m Lyia. And I was falsely accused for your actions.”

“Oh, that was you. The one who was accused for stealing what I had stolen. You got the second scroll yes, but I still have the one I was truly after.”

“You stole another one. How not surprising. Let me guess, you stole a scroll of the dark arts, and stole a scroll of the ice arts, so I would get banished.”

“You are a smart one that you are Lyia.”

“Of course I am. But then again, who doesn’t know your actions. Everyone knows what you did to become who you are now, Helena.”

Liliths face darkened, she had not been called that for years. And never again, would she hear that name. She was no longer that wretched thing she once was. She was Lilith, a demon of darkness. Helena was a thing of the past, and would stay in the past, forever.

“You are to never say that name again. And I will personally see to it that you are the last angel, to every see me!”

A ball of dark energy formed in Liliths hand, she was going to kill this angel.

“Prepare to die!”

“You are the one who is going to die!”

Lilith used her ball of dark energy on Lyia, and there cataclasmatic fight had begun. There fight lasted for days. Everything was destroyed, woods, mountains, animals, people, whole cities. Nothing stood up against there attacks. They approached the fifth day of there battle, and only two words were uttered that day.

“Apocalypse!”

“Ultima!”

The dark and holy aura clashed with each other, and the force was great. Lyia and Lilith were shot away from each other. Far away from each other. But they could not continue there fight. There energy was drained, they would be lucky if they survived. The last attack used by both, Apocalypse and Ultima had drained there bodies of what energy was left. But both survived, they would finish each other off, no matter the cost. They would continue there fight, in another time.

“You got lucky Lyia, I would have killed you easily.”

After those words were said, Lilith slept, feeling that she now had something to do. Her final goal, would be to destroy Lyia.

Lyia could feel Lilith’s aura was weakened. But she was exhausted herself.

“I swear to you Lilith, I will destroy you and regain my honor. If nothing, it will be the last thing I do.”

Re: Character List

Pant, pant. I had to run through all of the really long profiles in here.
*Approved by Selah*

Name: Maru

Age: Unknown+0

Race: Toa: An element controlling, weapon wielding, guardian of truth and justice. They cannot die by natural causes, however, they can die by starvation, dehydration, and being murdered. They are biomechanical creatures; a mixture of organic and mech.

Sex: Male

Hair: N/A

Eyes: Ice Blue

Weight: 200 pounds

Height: 6 ft 8 in.

Weapon: A pair of armored gauntlets, perfect for boxing. They have a line of short blades along the forearm. (I plan on having him trade these in for a much sweeter pair.)

Strengths:
He particularly powerful against ice creatures.
He's a good organizer.
He has a lot of undiscovered mental potential.
He has really long legs.
He has quick reflexes.
He has really good eyesight.

Weaknesses:
He can't swim.
He'll get clobbered by a water creature at about the same power level as him.
He's not the most tactical thinker.
He has a problem ignoring people when they try to annoy them. (should this go in personality?)
He can be severely weakened if his mask is removed.

Skills/Magic:

Skills:
His quick reflexes make him a good hand to hand fighter. He prefers a boxing style that includes taking advantage of his bladed gloves.
He can use a sword if necessary, but not very well.
He's a quick study.
He may not be very tactical, but he's not stupid.
He is very smart.

Magic:
He has the ability to absorb solar radiation through meditation. He, however loses this ability if his mask is removed. This energy can be used for various purposes such as: quick healing; magic regen; a burst of adrenaline; or increasing one of his stats by a small amount permanently. This power is used in charges which are filled by periods of meditation. It currently takes 5 hours for him to fill one charge and his current maximum charge count is 1. (stats concerning charges as well as the purposes for charges will be expanded as this character is developed)
He can create and manipulate fire. However, this skill has yet to be refined. Meaning he can conjure up a firestorm, but he can't light a match or weld a door.

Appearance:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=208563

It's the pics of the red guy that are lit.
If this picture doesn't have enough detail, I apologize. Below is a detailed description of this character's colors.

Head Color: Dark red except for his eyes
Neck: Bright Orange and long (not so long it's bizarre)
Upper Torso: Dark red
Lower Torso: Yellow belt-like armor with an orange buckle
Thigh: Dark red armor
Shins and Calves: Dark red
Feet: Light red with dark red heels
Upper Arm: Light red with dark red shoulder plating and yellow bicep armor
Lower Arm: Orange with long, silver, armored gloves (details in weapon section)

Personality: Maru is shy and calm by nature, but once engaged in conversation can be a good friend. He's helpful and has a good heart. He can sometimes get a bit awkward when trying to think of something to say. Most of the time he stays separate from large groups, and with a group of friends will sit back and enjoy the conversation unless spoken to directly. He makes a loyal friend, sometimes to a fault. He worships Mata Nui, the Great Spirit. He will stick by his beliefs to the end. If given a duty he will fulfil it, even if it's done at the last second. He takes comments said about him way too seriously. He can be arrogant, but so rarely that your lucky to see him say he's smarter than someone else. He has his own sort of wisdom about him. He's not very good at holding a grudge. Overall he's a calm person, but has a wild and really weird side to him that comes out very rarely in public.

Biography:
150 thousand years before being deemed a veteran toa, Maru was nervous.
He had been waiting impatiently for several hours, wondering what would happen when the intercom called his name.

A green toa came over and sat next to him on the bench. "Hey, cheer up," he said, "this is an honor just being here!" Maru wondered whether that was true. He felt like he had been dragged into this.

Annoyed he wasn't getting an answer, he spoke up. "Just look how far you've come!"

That was true. Maru had come a long way from the worker he once was. He had started out as a simple worker waiting for the call of Artahka, a place where he would work in peace and light. A huge difference from where he had been currently been working. So, he had waited just like everyone else. The unmeasureable time eliminating all memories of where he had come from. Until the evacuation call came. When everyone was told to drop everything and leave immediately. In the confusion he hadn't felt the hand that had pulled him away from the crowd. He had then been led somewhere he didn't know existed. Then a pulse of brilliant light and energy had filled the room he was in, and when the light dimmed he found he had been transformed into something he didn't recognize, but knew it was much more than what he had been a minute before. He had then been told by a huge red and silver figure that what he now was was called a Toa, and that he was going to become more than he had ever thought possible. The figure then turned and left. Maru had followed cautiously. When he was led where they were going, he was told that he had been given amazing new power. He was also told was that he had 5 years to train himself in whatever way possible, and to meet back at where he currently was at the end of that time to determine what would happen to him next.
Now those 5 years were up, and he was waiting for his turn to be placed.

He looked up from the floor at a pretty blue toa he had been looking at every once in a while.

The green toa was still there and followed his gaze. "Got yourself a crush, huh?"

Now Maru just found him to be an annoyance. So, he got up and started walking away, the green toa following close behind. "Hey! Where ya goin'? I'm talking to you!"

Just then the intercom turned on. Every head in the room turned to listen. "Maru, Sheera, Pogon, Dogroq, Zyx, and Aeaku. Please, proceed into the next room."

Maru took a deep breath and started walking towards the door. When behind him he heard the green toa speak saying, "hey, that's me!"

Maru groaned inwardly.

When he reached the door, he stopped and wondered what would happen if he walked through that door, and if it was worth it. He nodded and started walking again when he figured that there wasn't anywhere else to go.

As Maru walked he thought about the 5 years he had spent training, and the many things he had done during that time. All of which had happened at the Dome.

--------------------------------------------------------------
It's not long long, just long.

How do I apply for the Dome?

~MARU~

Re: Character List

Name:
Ralis Lerin

Age:
16

Race:
Human

Sex:
Male

Hair:
Dark brown hair, goes to the back of the neck, almost shoulder length.

Eyes:
Brownish Hazel

Weight:
126 lbs

Height:
5'11"

Weapon:
A serrated silver long sword. The left edge is incredibly sharp while the opposite edge is serrated like a saw's teeth. It is forged from pure and refined silver ore, of dwarven craft and is not easily scratched, broken, or damaged. Ralis has equipped a pair of steel gauntlets with four small and sharpened spikes over the knuckles in case his sword is lost or unavailable.

Armor:
Ralis has a black and hooded traveling cloth, with chainmail woven into the interior of the cloak. He wears an mithril jerkin over his chest which covers his chest, waist, shoulders, and back. Leather bracers over his forearms, and mithril greaves. Standard leather boots. He likes to be fast and light on his feet.

Strengths:
Ralis is trained well in swordfighting, sparring, and is deadly with or without a blade in his possession. He has martial arts skills which allow him to disarm or knockout an opponent. Used to be a common thief, and is trained to sneak around, steal. Using his own shadow, Ralis can turn invisible in dark places and his shadow can touch and hold real objects. Ralis can see, feel, hear, taste, and smell things in shadow form and cannot be hurt. Can converse with others in this form. (He uses his shadow as a vessel, his mind within)

Weakness:
Besides magic, Ralis has no long range capabilities. No bow, arrows, throwing daggers, etc. Ralis's armor is very lightweight, but still protecting. However, direct hits from heavy weapons won't be sheilded. When Ralis creates a shadow object or person, light will cause it to die and vaporize. Ralis cannot control trees, nature, light, or earth through magic. In shadow form, Ralis can be seen when a form of light and can been heard still. His real body is vunerable and unprotected when Ralis is controlling his shadow.

Skills/Magic:

Darkness:
Ralis has a dark personality at some times and his powers are controlled by his emotions. When feeling sad, or depressed, anxious, nervous, or frightened, he gains full control over dark magic.

Dominant Shadow:
Ralis can manipulate the darkness from shadows and have them materialize into real world objects or things.

Objects:
Ralis can materialize objects from darkness or shadows. Small things such as arrows or daggers take small amounts of energy and concentration and can be made almost instantly.

Larger objects such as sheilds, swords, or armor take a longer amount of time, energy, and concentration. Ralis can link his sword to whatever shadow weapon he creates and by using his sword, he can wield the shadow weapon as well since the two are linked. Ralis can use shadows to cover his body and they can protect small blows before vaporizing.

People:
Ralis can only materialize a living shadow when another person is near. He morphs their shadow into a 3 dimensional being and Ralis controls it. Ralis is extremely vunerable while controlling it, because it is an empty vessel with his mind, but in the shadow Ralis cannot be harmed even in the light.

Emotional:

When Ralis is happy or optimistic (very rarely) he can wield the water element.

Water:
Materialize and shape water. Can be used as a projectile and freeze others in place. Ralis will need a larger body of water if he wishes to use more dangerous attacks.

Ice Barrage:
With a substantial amount of water, can morph water into large shards of ice to either use as a shield around himself or projectiles to an opponent.

Water Vortex:
With enough water can summon large waves against more than one enemy which knocks them backwards.

Fire:
When Ralis is vengeful, angry, hurt, et cetera, he can wield fire magic. The angrier he is, the stronger and more potent his attacks will become.

Blaze:
A simple attack that form a shower of sparks or fire blasts.

Infernous Rage:
Ralis only uses this attack when his life or another he cares about is threatened and will do and he can to prevent that. He becomes severely exhausted after this attack. Ralis protects himself with a ring of flames around him and in wherever direction he thrusts his hand(s), a blast of fire will follow. Can only be used for a small duration as it takes a lot of energy.

Appearance:
Tall for his age, dark brown hair, light brown eyes, fair skin tone, wears a dark blue jerkin that covers his mithril. His black hooded chainmail cloak strapped around his neck by a silver chain. His sword worn around his waist by a brown belt. Tan breeches over his greaves, but wears his gauntlets at all times, yet his long sleeved cloak tends to cover them. Boots worn at all times as well.

Personality:
Ralis's mood changes depending on the situation. When around strangers he likes to be sarcastic and jokeful. When he's angry or in a time of battle, he is quiet, tense, and serious. Ralis only enjoys company when he gets to know them and they accept them. Most of the time, he is calm and depressed, obsuring his face with his hood.

Ralis hates snotty, pretentious, and over confident people who think that they know everything or are the best at everything. Plus people who try to change instead of accept him.
He treats those people with indifference and trys to ignore them. However, those who are similar or accept him, he will respect them like kin.

Biography:
Ralis was born in the Drainor Province, ruled by a greedy and demanding king. His mother died during his birth and his father had to take care of him. After the kingdom suffered a great battle, they won against barbaric invaders, but at a horrible cost. The city was nearly destroyed and ruined so the king leeched off his denizens through taxes. After his father couldn't pay the officials enough money for three fortnights in a row, he was taken to the city and Ralis had no choice but to run. That's when he accepted the ways of the theif and stole to survive.

When an old merchant moved near his village, Ralis went to steal from him. Little did he know, that the merchant, Alan Droskin, was a dedicated battlemage. He forgave Ralis and took pity on the poor boy. He taught him how to grasp and understand magic. After Ralis had finished his training, Alan gave to him his old blade and armor as the time passed for Alan to need it anymore.

Ralis never believed in a god because in the Drainor Province, only the king was to be treated as a god or deity and Ralis cringed at the thought. Ralis seeks to someday avenge his father, but he wonders how and won't rest until he does, one of his only dreams.

Re: Character List

Surge once had a name long ago, but he doesn't remember it. Instead, he goes by two other titles.

Number: Project 39

Nick name: Surge

Species: Gordothian

Age: 26

Personality: He was raised to fight, so naturally he is very aggressive. However, he has a hidden loneliness to him. He may look like a blood thirsty, pure evil beast. But under his violence and frightening appearance, he has a soft side. Even though he does have a good side to him, he is very violent and it shows up much in both battles and in simple conversations. He doesn’t ever willingly show compassion; for he believes it’s a weakness, although he does have compassion over most living things. At one moment, he could be protecting a life, but the next moment he will realize how weak he was acting and create an excuse for it. He will eat anything, not having a particular taste. Once he devoured one of his fingers just to disturb his opponent. He has a sick sense of humor and idea for entertainment which he still clings to himself to add to his allusion of strength.

Eyes: A strong shade of gold, they reflect light giving the illusion that they glow.

Hair: None

Appearance: He’s quite tall and very strong; his body is void of any scars due to his remarkable healing ability. He has two golden earrings, one on each ear. His body is covered in blue tattoo-like patches in various parts of his body, as seen in his picture. He is very muscular and his strength shows it. The artist’s depiction of Project 39 below doesn’t do his strength justice.

Height: 8 feet, 2 inches.

Weight: 310 pounds, all muscle.

Weapons: One of Surge’s various mutations in the past gave him countless retractable tentacles protruding from his back. The tentacles are very powerful and should not be underestimated. At the tentacles’ tips are small claw-like spikes, very deadly at close and medium range.

One of Surge’s favorite weapons is his quick draw Architect Blaster Pistol. It can fire rapidly, or in powerful short bursts. Either way, when in contacts something it will knock them back greatly. The damage from the blast gives slight burns, but the blast itself isn’t that powerful due to it only being a quick-draw model.

His primary weapon, however, is a black titanium masamune housed in a white sheath. His movement with the weapon is quite fast while the blade itself is virtually unbreakable. When Surge charges the sword with lightning, it uses up significantly much less energy than it would charged through other objects.

As one of his last resort weapons, Surge has too undetectable hidden blades that can retract from his wrist cuffs. They are quite deadly for close quarters combat and are almost weightless, although quite powerful.

Finally, simply his feet and hands are can be quite deadly weapons because of his razor sharp claws. They may be a nuisance when he’s handling delicate or breakable objects, but they will leave a nasty mark when he needs them to. He is heavily trained in hand-to-hand combat, being part of Slag’s most elite.

Armor: Surge bears two metallic shoulder pads and wrist cuffs that protect him from any sort of slashing and piercing damage. They are near impossible to break, though they don’t cover much. He doesn’t have much need for armor, due to the fact his body regenerates his limbs, save for his head, almost instantly.

Strengths: Surge’s senses are very keen. He can detect things as small as an insect crawling on the ground around him, to it flying off through the air. His smell, sight, hearing, speed, strength, agility, and feeling have all been genetically enhanced. There’s no sneaking up on this warrior.

All Gordothians are born with a healing ability that, within a few weeks, they can regenerate lost limbs. Slag figured this speed was far too slow, so he genetically enhanced this feature. Now, Surge’s limbs can regenerate in mere seconds. Surge’s most powerful asset, however, is his strength. Once the Gordothian lifted a light one-man fighter craft, throwing it into another. It was an incredible feat, even for a Gordothian. Surge's strength is not to be underestimated.

Weakness: One of Surge’s main weaknesses is that he is confined to one sort of elemental attack, lightning. It limits his elemental abilities, but usually he tries to keep to physical combat anyway. He is a strategist, but he has a tendency to act irrationally at times, relying entirely on luck and chance rather than science and probability. Sometimes it works for him, other times it doesn’t.

Skills: When Slag raised Surge to be the ultimate soldier, he wanted to give him a power the rest of his troops didn’t have. So when Surge went through his various mutation processes, he was given the power to generate lightning from the energy already within his body. It took several tries, but finally the power was perfected. He can electrically charge the lightning through any part of his body or any object that he touches; this also includes other living things. When he charges his energy through metallic objects the lightning’s damage is increased.

Sphere: Creates a sphere of energy Surge can generate from any part of his body or from his weapons. Uses very little energy, but is quite inaccurate. He can use this attack in rapid succession.

Strike: Creates a blue strike of lightning that follows the electric signature that every living thing has in their body. It can be avoided by using another living thing as a shield. It’s a much more dangerous attack than Sphere, it’s near impossible to avoid due to it traveling at the speed of light. The speed of the attack breaks most magical barriers, but not all. This attack uses much more energy than sphere.

Biography: Surge was raised by his loving parents, his father the governor of their civilization. He was going to grow and take his father’s place when he passed on. Everything was going to be great for the boy, until his sixth birthday. What a birthday present he received. From the sky, countless starships appeared without warning. The Gordothians were a peaceful race, but they were natural born warriors, they needed to be to protect their home. That day their natural born talent wasn’t good enough. The planet was wiped clean, very few Gordothians managed to escape.

When the strange forces touched ground, their troops took the Gordothian underground caves by force. Surge charged into the intruders before the rest did, slaughtering as many as he could with his claws. It is said that the mind of a child is more brutal than the mind of the devil’s, combined with rage he was ferocious. Though the Gordothians fought bravely, they were killed off. Surge was knocked to the ground at one point. He became paralyzed, and had no means of movement. In his line of sight, he watched helplessly as his parents were slaughtered before his very eyes. That was the last thing he remembered.

When he awoke, he was in a tube of water with an oxygen mask across his mouth. He struggled to free himself, but he was secured tight. He had no choice but to succumb to whatever they had for him.

In his captivity, various painful tests and mutations were performed on him. Finally, he was released. He didn’t want to cooperate with anything they wanted him to do, because of how they killed his everyone on his home planet. The scientists couldn’t control the boy, so they were forced to erase his memories.

The rest of his memories were entirely consisted of intense training and violent mutations. He was also tortured on occasion to build his endurance. One day, he met the man who was the leader of this strange organization, Keon Laan. The stranger took Surge as his apprentice, teaching him even more about combat and strategic decisions. He gave him the name he is known for, Surge. He gave it to him after the lightning mutations were performed on the boy. Finally, after Keon raised him for several years, he tricked Surge into being mutated one last time. That was when his tentacles were painfully added. It took Surge months to get used to them, but he never held the same respect for his “father” again.

At the age of 20, Surge became Keon’s right hand man. His eternal obsession seemed to be trying to recover an artifact of great power. It was a portal capable of teleporting anything to anywhere in the known universe. It was Project 1, the first of Keon’s infamous experiments. It was the most successful thing he had ever invented, and it was stolen by a group of rebels. Keon and Surge together searched the galaxy until they finally discovered its location. Far away from the areas they ruled, it was found on the planet of Earth. Gathering their forces, they struck the planet without remorse. Finally, together they recovered it. As they fled with their prize, a cloaked counterattack was already prepared.

Surge opened the portal given a mission to destroy the world the people of Earth were fleeing to. As soon as the gateway opened, the ship they were in was struck and Surge’s ship was sent flying through the wormhole. He could tell something was definitely wrong, but it was too late. When he awoke, his ship was smothered on a mountain side. He had no clue where he was, but he knew he wasn’t where he was supposed to be.

Surge was doing what he usually did every day, performing repairs on his ship. But suddenly he was attacked by a mysterious machine from Surge's own time and dimension. An assassin droid called Dark. He said he was sent by a man named Igner to eliminate him, this confused Surge greatly. Igner was third in command after Slag and himself, why would he send someone to kill him? But it was obvious, Igner wished to take command over Slag's place.

Surge and the machine fought for hours, both evenly matched. Eventually, Surge was able to shoot it off the edge of cliff. But Surge knew that this robot was too powerful to be defeated so easily, so he was forced to leave his ship behind. He knew that Dark knew where he stayed; now he was forced to move from his spacecraft to find allies who could help him reclaim his ship.

Re: Character List

Name: Oppa
Age: ???
Height: about 42 lbs.
Weight: a little over 3’
Race: Moogle
Gender: Male

Fur Color: White, with a subtle tan tint covering his ears and a single spot of brown in between his ears.
Pompom Color: Red (you know, the little puff on top of their heads)
Eye Color: A small blue iris surrounding the pupil, which constitutes the majority of his eye.
Wing Color: Red

Appearance: Normally displayed with a smirk on his face he is found wearing a light blue turtleneck shirt with a brown vest over it. He wears a pair of green corduroys as well as his brown boots. His whiskers shoot out from just behind his nose and stop a little shorter than the norm. His face tells of travels, but no one can tell how old he is, or exactly how much of the world he knows. He wears a pair of light brown gauntlets to match the belt he found on the streets of Rabanstre.

Weapon: He carries a short wooden staff amplified with a protect spell to prevent it easily breaking.
Armor: You wouldn’t tell from the look of his clothes, but a small fine iron mesh guards him underneath all his style. The mesh may not be strong enough to stop an attack, but it’s just enough to lessen the to a more endurable impact.

Strengths: He is adept at Magiks of varying sorts and sizes. He is also gifted with the ability to fly short distances as long as he is somewhat close to the ground.
Weaknesses: He can’t move very fast, and as such relies on Magiks to speed himself up, which always takes a toll on how much offensive Magik he can use. He tends to be curious as to enemy tactics and techniques so he may occasionally leave himself open to attacks to see some of the more fierce skills his enemy holds.

Skills/Magiks: He has an adept perception of Time, Black and Green Magiks such as fire or water spells, or spells to hasten his movements, slow enemies, or protect him. He has always wished to dive further into Arcane and Summoning Magiks but he consumes his time with practicing what he already knows.
Black Magiks: Fire (Fira), Water (Watera), Thunder (Thundara), and Blizzard (Blizzara)
Green Magiks: Protect, Shell, Poison, and Silence
Time Magiks: Haste, Slow, Quick

Personality: He is devoted to mastering the Magiks he already knows before he moves on to others, and he adores training with them. He tends to be somewhat of a bookworm and a pessimist, but that’s never stopped him from making friends. Though he has friends, he keeps them somewhat at arms length, still refusing to tell even his most trusted traveling companions what he’s been through. He’s always been curious, but naturally good hearted and caring for others. Too bad he never bothered studying White Magiks.

Biography: Born in the Dalmasca region he grew up with a wonderful family. He had little access to the knowledge of the world of Magiks, unless it was from the endless adventurers who took up jobs to clear werewolves from the lower plains regions. He would hang on every word of the mages while the other children stood admiring the shine on the warrior’s armor. Books and learning were scarce in the Giza Plains, so he and his family agreed that he spend several years training at the new School of the Magikal Arts and Sciences in Nalbina. He had always longed to see the world outside of his small village in the Giza Plains and took off for Nalbina. He studied hard in school and soon grew to the top p of his class, even becoming a TA for the Blue Magik teachers. After several years of study he advanced to the rank of scholar and sorcerer in Nalbina. While in Nalbina he met up with a Bangaan templar and Vierra Hunter who gave great haste in telling him their fantastic stories of monsters and treasure outside the cities. He joined with them and another recruit from Nalbina, a Hume Alchemist, and journeyed through the Archadian region. That was when the war between Dalmasca and Archadia hit. The party continued their quests and hunts, staying one step ahead of the armies. After the war was finished, Dalmasca had lost, its king had been assassinated, and the heir to the throne had taken her life in grief for her kingdom. Consequently, the party had to regroup with their fellow countrymen and families back home, protecting them from the harsh Empire soldiers. Oppa quickly returned to the Giza Plains village he had come from, but arrived to learn that his family had relocated to Bhujerba and had joined an insurrection in which they were promptly put down by the local law enforcement. Swords and spells had been exchanged in this insurrection and Oppa’s parents had fallen bravely defending their beliefs in the Dalmascan way of life. Oppa moved from the Giza Plains to the nearby Rabanastre where he set up a Magik shop that quickly fell as Empire soldiers detracted the adventuring appeal of the area. After his shop failed he moved into a residence in the Lowtown of Rabanastre where he continued to teach basic Magik and planned to live out the rest of his days in peace. Unfortunately for Oppa, the rest of his days held much more excitement for him than he had planned. Shortly after the new Consul, Vayne, arrived in Rabanastre, Oppa began becoming active in the local Clan Centurio. He began hunting monsters in his old homeland as well as across the regions.

Re: Character List

Name: Valyx (pr. Val-Icks)

Age: 19 wolf years

Race: Wolf

Sex: Male

Hair: Valyx has a thick fur coat- contrasting hues of grey along his back, with his legs and paws dipped in a cold white. Straight down his backbone is a part which marks a V-intersection of furs. The furs that skew from either side of the part look worn and wispy. His fur isn't straight and silky-smooth like domestic dogs or wolves born into a conservative life. When coming into contact with Valyx on the vast snow plains, one would assume he had been in a fierce tussle with other well-matched creatures, due to the unkempt state of his fur.

Eyes: Piercing blue eyes. Although friendly, his eyes carry with them the burden of a rough life. For anyone who gazes into them, they can see within his eyes a realm that holds a dark scar that will forever remain.

Weight: 51 kg (112 pounds)

Height: 28 inches

Weapon: Valyx uses his jaws to attack. Years of fending for himself and for his pack when he was younger honed his teeth into lethal chompers. He also uses his legs for wrestling with his enemies during desperate encounters.

Strengths: Stamina and endurance are very high. When he needs to retreat from a difficult situation, or has to get somewhere fast, his feet will not easily tire. He will sprint for miles when the need arises.
Agility is another one of Valyx's advantages. He is quick on his paws, and is able to dodge, duck and weave to and fro during conflict, giving him the upper hand against slower enemies.
Valyx's damaged past has built him into a warrior with endless perseverance. When confronted, he will do whatever it takes to live on for his pack and for survival. He has learnt never to take his foes lightly, and not to give chances either.

Weaknesses: Valyx has a fear of deep water. Ever since one of his brothers from the pack drowned in a blue lake while out catching fish with him, he has always been very useasy about touching his paw in the deep end. It is something that he cannot forgive of himself, and it is seen in his eyes.

Because Valyx equips no armor and has a layer of skin and fur as his only protection, his body is easily-penetrable and highly vulnerable to attacks. He is weak against sharp objects and projectiles.

Skills/Magic:

Snow Burrow - When Valyx is among his natural terrain, he is able to dig holes in the snow with his paws and tunnel underneath.

Appearance: See hair and eyes above. Valyx's tail is long and thick, of various shades of grey the same as his back. Below the wolf's stout, square muzzle is a small mane of white fur. For the mostpart, Valyx's pelage is fairly thick. Valyx does not wear anything, or carry items or equipment.

Personality: Valyx has a resilient personality. All his life he was worked to protect the pack and survive in the harsh environment. The death of some of his brothers has made him train harder in defending himself and his pack. No matter what comes his way, he fights through it and moves on, because that's his lifestyle. He has a never-say-die attitude, and will not back down against anything. He has learnt not to be guilty for slaughtering his enemies, but he is forever guilty for the deaths of those close to him, even though none were his doing. The loss of loved ones has fuelled the hatred of his enemies, and he will kill in cold blood for vengeance and for survival. Underneath this ferocious drive however, is a kind, loving, sensitive streak. He is warm to all those that mean something to him, is generous in his services, and is always willing to make big sacrifices so that others can be happy. Upon encountering a lady wolf other than those in his pack, Valyx's heart sinks. He has never found a female companion to be with and protect who he can love and nurture. He has an honest charm about him that lady wolves like, and he hopes that one day he will find someone.

Biography: Valyx was born into a pack of nine (four brothers, two sisters, his parents, and him). For his whole life he has lived on the vast snowy plains in the land of Willun. He has had an extremely tough, unfair life. He did not have an abusive childhood, in fact, it was completely the opposite. He adored his family; he loved playing games with his fellow pups and rolling in the snow. His parents cared for him when he was too young to fend for himself, and he grew very attached to his pack. It was when bad things began to happen to those he loved that Valyx's life took a downhill spiral. One day when Valyx was out searching for twigs and shrubs to camouflage the entrance to his home, he found two of his brothers lying in the snow, motionless. Overwhelmed with shock, he examined the wolves and discovered bloody wounds on their skin that seeped through their thick fair coats. They had both been butchered, and Valyx had no trace as to what or who did it. He is still searching for answers to this day. After recovering from the short-term grief, Valyx was out catching fish on another occasion with one of his other brothers. They were both standing on a platform of ice overlooking the mysterious depths of a blue lake, snatching at the water with their paws when fish surfaced. Valyx's brother lost his footing on the ice, and slipped in to the cold water. He had never learnt to swim. Valyx had watched his brother struggle with painful eyes, and then slip away into the darkness. His brother was too heavy to try and save without drowning himself too. If this wasn't enough psychological damage for Valyx, he endured one last fateful event. When he was 17 wolf years old, he was out hunting for food for his pack. He returned home to find the home had been ransacked by some sort of creature, and abandoned. His pack had scattered and left him behind, as they feared for their immediate safety. Valyx was left with no one, and he was stranded out in the cold without a home. For two long wolf years, he had travelled across Willun in search of answers, and in the hope of relocating his family. Not long ago, Valyx finally received a spot of good luck. When exploring a snow-covered forest, he heard burrowing noises close by and ran to where the sound came from. Tucked away in a small alcove in the snow, hidden behind a large tree was a cowering wolf. It was one of his sisters, Elle. Valyx and Elle became very close, and trusted each other with anything. Valyx would open up with her and tell her how he felt all the time, and she would help him to become stronger mentally. At the moment, Valyx protects his sister with his life and takes her with him on his travels in search of the truth.

Re: Character List

Name: Sirius Amon Moris. When his name is spoken by the Dark God himself, the very elements of the earth tremble in response. He is known to many as the God of Darkness. But his most commonly used name was given to him after his freedom from imprisonment. They called him Sin, the result of everyone’s wrong doings.

Age: Since before time itself.

Race: Some think he is a demon, but it is hard to tell what he really is. He is a one-being race, none other like him. He is an abomination bent on sinister intent.

Sex: Male

Theme music:
Liberi Fatali
Seizure of Power
Sonne
Hard Rock Hallelujah (for kicks)

Hair: None have seen it.

Eyes: His eyes glow a bright white from beneath his hood. They send fear through those that look into them with the thought coursing through their mind that they may never see anything else again.

Weight: No one knows how much he weighs, he can almost change his weight it seems because he can float and fly and push down with the amount of weight desired.

Height: 7 feet, 3 inches.

Weapon:

Dual Blades: Mind and Soul:
Sin wields two powerful swords he conceals within his cloak. Hidden inside, they fly from his sleeves into his palms when he needs them. These swords posses a unique ability to transform into any weapon desired. Sin has trained with the swords enough to morph them into any weapon from a kunai to a whip to a two-handed battle axe. The hilt itself is dangerous, covered in a dark essence and sharp points. If a mortal tries to wield his blades, their hands will be cut while their minds will begin to corrupt with darkness.

The forms his swords usually take reach almost seven feet. They are broad and bear serrated teeth that run along the edges of both blades. The swords are sharp and strong, able to slice through most armor. The serrated teeth tend to lock onto flesh, tearing away one’s body to the bone.

Sin’s swords are connected to him in a way where he can call them through the air without touching them, and sometimes without even motioning for them. At times he’s fought with the blades while attacking with his armored hands. It’s a very dangerous tactic that often confuses his opponents.

A new ability gained from the Chamber of Memories incident allowed him to create weapons from any of the elements. He doesn’t use this much unless he finds it necessary. He would much rather use his own blades.

Accessories: Sin once stumbled across a great warrior named Kenjin. He ran a group of powerful warriors he titled The BA Nights. He discovered that this clan had members who wielded great power, so he used the group to learn from them. When he joined he received a small medallion that resembled a sword. Kenjin told him that some day when he needed help the most, the medallion would activate a hidden power deep within. The medallion still hasn’t been activated, for Sin’s life has never been to the point where he needed it.

Armor: his hands and feet are covered in invulnerable metal, but the rest of his armor has less protection since nothing can harm his body anyway, aside from his head.

Strengths: Sin’s strength, speed, and agility are matched by very few. Some say he has no weaknesses in that area, but there are a few who have overpowered him in those areas. He once came across a mysterious warrior who he defeated, the man calling himself Bolt. He had an unusual ability to run faster than one’s eye, Sin killed him and devoured his power. Now Sin’s speed is his greatest strength. He can move at the speed of sound for short periods at a time, due to this incident.

Weakness: Sin’s entire body is impossible to harm except for his head. Magic doesn’t affect his head as much anymore, fire and darkness not having any affect at all.
Dark fire is now much harder to douse, required much more water to put it out. Most water dumped on it is evaporated into steam.
At times, although it happens very rarely, Sin loses control and his rage gets the better of him. He doesn’t get angered that easily, but when he does he moves without thinking. This can be either an advantage, or a disadvantage depending on who he’s fighting.

Skills/Magic:

Sin possesses the ability to control the power of all the elements: Fire, Earth, Water, ice, Air, wind, lightning, and the rest as well as a strong influence of the power of Darkness. His magic is very powerful, yet doesn't require him to exert much because he uses the power of devoured minds instead of his own energy for attacking. If he ever uses this energy to the point where it is completely consumed, he will turn to his own energy which is much more dangerous. This has never happened, so the result of this happening is unknown. Other than the basic bending ability he has over these elements (such as sphere, beam, and other experimentations) he does have a few special techniques he likes to use. (See below)

Sin’s favored element to wield is one no one else can control nor dispel: Dark fire. It behaves exactly like fire in every way, but is pitch black. Instead of being bright, dark fire would consume the light around it. Although dark fire doesn’t seem it, it is extremely hot. At its full power, Dark Fire can be hotter than the surface of the sun. The reason Dark Fire cannot be wielded by anyone else is because it's actually a part of Sin. He can create large amounts, but because it's a part of him no one can control it. If another dark being attempts to absorb the power, it will only harm them internally as a result.

Sirius can fly and float without using any energy at all, he spends most of his time floating but if he must or if he simply wants to he will walk.

Sirius also has the ability to render himself invisible. He cannot be seen when like this, but his dark presence can still be felt. Even though his opponent may know he’s there, they won’t be able to tell where he’s at. In addition to this, he has the power to move through any solid object he desires.

One of Sin’s special abilities is to transform his outward appearance to match anyone he’s ever seen, including people in the memories of others he’s killed. When disguised as another he gains that person’s physical advantages, but their magic power can't be tapped into unless Sin has killed the person he's disguised as, in which case he has all of their abilities.

Sirius doesn’t have to eat because of his immortality; instead he devours the minds of anyone he kills. When he does this he gains their knowledge and power as their energy is added to his own. He doesn’t devour minds by eating them; he does it several different ways. The two most common ways is he either shoves his hand in the side of their head, draining it of their brain. Or when he’s in a large battle he slices off their heads and sucks them into his sleeves. Inside his cloak, he devours everything in their head, discarding the skull afterwards.

Sin’s dark influence is visible everywhere. Whatever he touches, whether it’s a tree or rock, it will transform into its dark form. Wherever he steps, the grass will turn black in response to his powerful presence. When he touches a human or animal they get a frightening shiver that crawls up their spine as if their blood had turned to ice. All fear Sin when they're near him, including other dark warriors. They might even be more powerful than him, but deep down they can sense that this monster shouldn't be taken lightly.

Because of Sin's powerful influence over the elements, he's attempting to forge his own elements by creating things such as dark thunder and dark water. He hasn’t been able to perfect this yet because the keeper of the elements is always contradicting his actions, preventing him from keeping these elements stable for long. This only makes Sin angry, knowing that the creator is still stronger than he is. However he can still generate these elements for short periods of time. When the elements are in their dark form, their power is doubled and they cannot be blocked by magical defenses. However, using these dark elements requires Sin to use his own power instead of the power he gains from others.

Sin can sense the presence of others. He can tell how strong they are simply by being near them. Because of this, Sin has been able to find individual minds that would suit him best, instead of killing randomly and hoping to gain significant power. Still, the old way of doing things is sometimes the most exhilarating.

Sin's mind is untouchable by any sort of mental attack. In fact, if someone's trying to tap into his body in anyway, the result will be the attack using their technique on them self.

Special Abilities:

Dark Hand:
Sin creates a giant, dark flaming hand from the ground combining the powers of Darkness and Dark Fire. The hand’s size can change to fit its target. The arm never completely leaves the ground, but it reaches above onto land. The hand is fast and grasps enemies quickly, squeezing hard as it burns them. Light attacks weaken it, but do not destroy it because of how Dark fire absorbs most of the light. When it’s weakened, brute force can break through it if strong enough. If they can’t free themselves, then it will explode doing significant damage. This power uses much energy, though Sin is training himself to where he can use it more. Only usable on land

A weaker, but possibly more effective form of this attack creates dozens of smaller dark hands that rise from the ground, grabbing multiple enemies. These can be destroyed by swings of a blade, but will bring harm to the attacker after they vanish by sending a painful shock up their arm. The shock can be avoided by using ranged attacks or light magic. This move uses less energy than the larger hand. Only usable on land.

Dark Tendrils
Similar to Dark Hand, Sin can generate long tentacles made entirely of darkness from from any surface or from any part of his body. Like Dark hand they can squeeze and crush people, as well as explode when commanded. Unlike Dark Hand, the tendrils can't be harmed by light magic. However, despite their incredible strength, a mere slash of a blade with render them useless.

Terra Rain:
Sin uses the power of the earth beneath his opponent’s feet creating countless spikes that come at them from below. It has a large attack radius, and if it is somehow avoided, the bits of Earth will pass by Sin’s target and rain back down on top of them. This move is hard to predict and avoid. The spikes are small, but move fast, causing many wounds but with less damage. There is a slight chance that one of the spikes may land in a vital area on one’s body, puncturing a delicate organ and killing them. Sin uses this attack rarely because he sees it as being “too easy.” This move is most lethal in enclosed areas with hard surrounding rock. Only usable on land.

Black Carnage:
Sin focuses all of his power into his hands. He can use any element wished, but the easiest and most deadly he uses is dark fire. When the power is activated, two powerful beams of the chosen element emit from his hands in a constant stream. This tears through the surrounding land, causing massive damage to everything it touches. It’s quite dangerous because Sin can point the beams in any direction his arms can reach. This move is Sin’s most powerful yet.

Absorb:
When fighting his enemy, a small percentage of their strength and energy is lost, and given to himself. The amount is minuscule, barely noticeable, but it adds up when there are a lot of people around him. When in large combat situations he grows exponentially stronger. Absorbing the added force of everyone on the battlefield can make him all the more deadly.

Appearance: Sin is a very dark warrior. His entire body is pure black, as dark as darkness can get. The only two features that stand out are his intense white eyes and bright golden teeth that shine through on occasion, but are quite dim. He wears a dark torn cape that waves behind him when he flies, it moving randomly with a mind of its own. Under his dark shrouds he is continually burning with dark fire. When angered, his fire grows bigger and more intense, flickering from the open folds in his clothes.

Personality: Sirius is a master of deception. He can convince anyone of anything. He is even more believable when he’s disguised as another person. He is an evil killer that believes if he consumes enough darkness and power from the minds of others, he will become unstoppable. He is also very good at keeping, and exploiting secrets. He keeps information of his own weaknesses hidden deep inside him at all times so his enemies would not be able to defeat him, even if they could read minds. He is very fierce, yet cocky in battle. When things are going his way he cracks some evil humor. No one has ever seen his face, although when he is about to kill someone he will sometimes reveal his face to them, but only if their deaths are certain. He doesn’t care about killing people fast, he cares about killing them in the most fun, imaginative way he can think of, and he has a big imagination.

Biography:
Sirius was a powerful angel serving under the all high Creator, master of the elements. Sin was one of the best angels that ever existed, although they didn’t call him Sin then. He fought with great power and was a good person. However, something would happen every time he’d visit the physical realm. Some said he would have secret meetings with someone outside the heavenly realm, but the entire truth was unknown. Whatever happened to him, his path changed drastically.

The physical realm was under slavery to a dark element known as Dark Fire. The Creator and his top angels worked centuries to take it down. Finally, the Creator grasped the source of the dark power and took it to the Black Lake. Sin was there, wondering why everyone was celebrating. When he discovered what had happened, he cried out for the dark flame. The Creator cast the element into the dark lake just like he had with the other evils of the elements before it. Sirius leapt after the flame. As he fell, he snatched it in his hands just before both were submerged in the putrid Black Lake. Darkness took the angel, bearing down his throat and through his eyes. It filled his very pores, transforming his very essence. The lake was known as a dark place where all darkness the element creator found would throw away for the safety of the plenet, it was an evil place that even hell itself rivaled.

The pain in the lake was severe, burning through the holy energies inside Sirius. For several years he remained submerged, not wanting to leave. He enjoyed the pain, he enjoyed the suffering, he enjoyed the raw power within the lake. It was his grotto, it was where he made his choice, though why he made it is still unknown. In the dark lake, Sirius burned and withered until he was nothing but darkness. Assumed deceased, the angels left him. After ages of the lake’s perversion, Sin emerged a completely different being. He tried to return to the heavens, but found he couldn’t any longer no matter how hard he tried. After several failed attempts, the Creator came to him and explained why. Sin committed a serious crime, for when he was cast into the lake he unleashed the darkness within it. The angel showed far too much passion for the evil that wasn't supposed to be, so the element master placed a curse on Sirius, forcing him to live on Earth with the people of the planet.

Anger with Sirius began to boil toward the creator and the people of Earth. Sin trained in his power for vengeance, discovering many things he never knew he was ever capable of. His favorite feat, however, was the power to absorb others’ abilities after killing them. In his obsessive rampage, many races went extinct. Sin would return to the Lake of Death very often to absorb the power within it as well. As time passed on, Dark Fire grew stronger, living within Sin. It began to spawn beings of its own creation, nearly invincible and dark warriors, impervious to most anything. Sin’s army grew large fast, so he got overconfident and hasty. It was his downfall.

Sin called the Creator of the elements down from the skies and fought him head on in a ferocious battle. Sin had forgotten the strength of the angel and his armies were decimated, sent back to burn in the center of the earth. The Creator of the elements pointed his blade at Sin’s neck. “How could you fall so far, Kegan?” Sin hissed and tried to strike his enemy, but instead he was frozen in place. The Creator closed his eyes and prayed a prayer of sealing and Sin was instantly banished from the earth. For the next several millennia, he was imprisoned in the core of the sun, left to burn for what was supposed to be an eternity. Inside the burning ball of gas he was tortured in his own personal Hell. Only one thing burned in Sin’s mind through his endless torment, and that was his revenge. It consumed him within the star. Over time he forgot many things. Most of all his memories vanished, including memories of him being a great angel under the Creator’s command. The power of Dark Fire was growing weak to him as well as many of his other abilities.

The world was saved.

However, there was one way for him to be unleashed once again. If Sin’s complete name were to ever be spoken again, he would be freed from his banishment. Even though the guardian’s of the land expelled his name from the planet, his name was spoken anyway.

”Sirius Amon Moris”

Thunder rolled, the earth opened, and the sky dyed red. Volcanoes erupted, the sky itself cracked, and the pits of Hell screamed in terror.

Sin was free.

No one knew how, why, or who did it. Someone freed him from his prison, and Sin didn’t care who. All that mattered was he was free and he had some loose ends to tie up. He would fight the element master again in the future, though he needed some work first. When he returned he would be ready. Until the Creator’s defeat, all Sin could do was torture the people of earth to anger the mighty angel. Maybe he would wait for the Creator to come to him.

Sin built a kingdom, one fixed in the highest mountains. There he was king, though his empire was still weak. He had nothing but a few weak forces at his command, nothing worth mentioning. How he longed for his deceased army of old. After Sin’s first victory over a small city, he bred with a woman and had a son. When this boy grew, he would rule along side his father. Sin never liked to admit to help, but he knew that his Son would grow just as strong as himself. The boy’s mother named him Ford, but Sin decided not to name the lad until he earned the name himself.

Before Sin’s child was conceived, he managed to enslave an entire elven race after months of battle. However, his hold over them wasn’t as strong as he hoped for. Under command of a brave elven commoner, the race managed to overthrow their masters. Leading an unexpected sneak strike into Sin’s main fortress, the elves destroyed most of his forces. In the process, they freed Sin’s mate and her son.

Sin’s anger over-boiled. With the few soldiers that were left after the attack, Sin crushed the elven nation with one quick stroke, leaving no one alive. Every soul was killed; this was when a memory struck Sin’s mind. He went back through the city and devoured the minds of every dead elf in the ruined kingdom. His power doubled that night. He and his army searched the remains of the city, but his stolen son could not be found.

Finally through his constant searching for his son, Sin came across a lone log house. When he arrived, he found his mate. He grabbed her by the neck and demanded to know where his son was. The woman whose name he never bothered to remember. A tear rolled down her cheek as she spoke. “Ford is dead.” The woman was so convincing. Her voice would have convinced anyone as if she rehearsed saying that line correctly her whole life. That’s where Sin knew she was lying. He could tell when anyone was lying, even this woman. He pinched off her neck and watched her lay on the ground dead. She must have re-located the boy. Just as her scream was cut off, another man burst into the room. The woman must have gotten married, though that didn’t bother Sin. Still, this man was in his way. He killed him just as quick as he killed the woman, if only he knew where his son was. He would make a most powerful tool of war when he could be trained properly. But, until he found him again, he would discover other methods to grow in strength.

During Sin’s rampage, a lone warrior encountered him. His name was Arthur Rune. Arthur’s goals and motives were unknown, but his skill in combat was so great it even rivaled Sin’s. With a struggle, Sin managed to injure him. He was about to devour this man’s mind, but before he could get near him he vanished. Arthur’s skill was insane, he performed magic unlike any Sin had ever seen before. He simply had to kill this man. It didn’t take him long to find him again. Arthur was still wounded from their previous battle and Sin was able to kill him without much of a struggle.

When Sin devoured the man’s mind, a great power surged through his body. But at the same time, Sin could remember the warrior’s entire past. He had a family, three children to be exact. Before Arthur Rune died, he held the knowledge that his children bore the same power that he had. There was also a prophecy tied to the children, this is what shocked Sin the most. The prophecy stated that when three children descended from the powerful warrior Rune, they would together hold the power to free the world from the calamity, Sin. The exact prophecy was unknown to Arthur, the meaning distorted over time. At all costs, Sin would have to kill these children, not just for the power. This prophecy wasn’t just a false hope; it was written by the Creator’s superior.

Sin went instantly the Arthur’s home, taking a while to find even with the man’s foggy memories. When he arrived, the place was deserted. Either the children moved elsewhere, or something else killed them. There was one way to find out though, but even that would take a long time. The Hall of the Un-happen, lost over the ages, would be the one way to find if the children were to survive. It was where all prophecies were created and written in stone, it a formation Sin would have to grab hold of in the future. But for now, he was stuck looking for them by hand.

In Sin's search for these children, he found one of them. Tayler Rune was her name, she was weaker than he expected though, not having power that was even close to her father’s. When he thought the battle was going far too easy, suddenly the unexpected happened. Tayler, with her sudden hidden anger, gathered her strength and banished Sin from the battlefield with a powerful light based attack. This was before Sin's immunity to light attacks, so he was defeated. Later he returned to the scene, only to see that she had left. This put jealousy into his heart; he wanted more than ever to get that power.

Sin’s long forgotten army was lost ages ago, it was his intention to find it again. This soon became his top priority. So he searched for these invincible warriors. His constant exploring paid off for he found their location, a door in an old abandoned forest. The door, however, was cursed. It was designed specifically for Sin, disallowing his entrance.

As Sin traveled the land, by sheer coincidence he wondered across a war that was in the midst of battle. Remembering his old forces he used to eliminate the elven race that stood against him, he summoned them to battle. His army was very small, but determined and unwavering. Sin knew he was sending them all to their deaths, but they were just a tool to test his own strength. One of the commanders of the opposing army’s name was Gorin, a brilliant commander. Sin ran headlong into the opposing forces, slaughtering with his own prowess in battle. His army’s morale was infinite, charging through the opposing warriors without fear. Even though his army was a sixth the size of his enemy’s, he took down a good deal of them. In the end, every last one of his soldiers died when the two opposing armies joined together. Sin was surprised that his skills as a strategist hadn’t dwindled much over the years. He left the battle with a few discouraging words to his enemies’ forces. He would return to Gorin again in the future, he was a magnificent fighter and strategist. It would be interesting battling him again.

Sin had once fought along side a warrior named Kenjin; he soon found that the warrior’s strength greatly surpassed his own. Kenjin was the leader of a clan called the BA knights. Only so he could learn the power of this worthy warrior, he teamed up with the master clan, hoping to one day surpass every member of the group. Suddenly, the group ceased activity. All Sin had left was a trinket he received when joining, a small necklace in the shape of a sword. He was told when he needed help the most the medallion would activate a great power to aid him.

As Sin expected, he met up with Gorin on more than one occasion. In their latest encounter they entered a hidden temple called the Chamber of Memories. When inside, Sin’s entire memory was returned to him. His full potential was remembered and his power increased two fold. He was no longer just the master of deceit; he turned from his previous weak ways and took on the name the God of Darkness.

Yes, no mistake this time, he knew he was hearing what he thought he was. Every time his full name was spoken, he could hear it, but this wasn’t just one person speaking his name; it was an entire population. It was a chant, as in some sort of worship. Either that… or they were trying to summon him. If it were the latter, they would get their wish. Sin would take a look at this society; then use them to his advantage.

The God of Darkness took a moment to get his bearings, and lurched off into the night. Their location was distant, but at the speeds he was traveling he would get there in a matter of minutes.

What would he do with these people? Would he kill them all from the very start? Or possibly, they might serve him as some other sort of use. He hadn’t had an inside connection to the humans before, perhaps he could use these people to his advantage in a different way. Some things couldn’t be solved by killing, having a civilization to build his rule on was what he had planned on from the start. Until he had his army up and running again, these fools would have to do.

At last!

Sin gazed for nearly a full hour at his prize.

What are the odds?

Who would have known?

The Black Lake.

He found it.

Sin flew to the edge of the waters and drank long and deep. He hadn't the slightest idea that the words he was hearing would lead him here. He took his time drinking, but eventually stopped himself. Something was amiss in the water, there was definitely something missing. It still had power, but it was very dim. He couldn't feel the same strength he felt in it before. What happened? Why was the lake dying? No, that couldn't be it. Was it resisting him? Was the lake refusing him its power?

He could still hear his name being chanted.

He'd come back to the lake later, but for now he'd have to discover who was summoning him. He followed the sound to a small village just off coast, and what he saw surprised him. A bunch of humans were gathered around a bonfire, dancing and chanting his name as if it were a demonic worship service. The idea that he was being compared to that devil scum made him cringe, he wasn't a demon.

Sin decided to please his worshipers anyway, appearing in a dramatic fashion to quench their thirst.

Suddenly, the bonfire roared, tongues of flame licking the sky. The blaze crackled and buzzed; everyone falling quiet. All eyes were focused on the fire, or rather what was inside. In the center of the flame, a dark and ominous figure loomed. He was blacker than the night sky, eyes piercing out of the shadows. It was amazing how the fire around him didn’t even singe his clothes.

"Sirius Amon Moris!" They all said in unison. They all bowed before their god. All but one. Sin stared at the static man and studied him briefly. He didn't care if he was worshiped or not, but for some reason... this guy resisting him made him angry.

He stared into the featureless face before him. He got a good long stare, trying to figure out why exactly this man had no distinguishable features. He couldn’t sense life in the man, but he knew it was there. There was something peculiar about him, and he would find out soon.

Sin noticed everyone was bowing to him now. It was no doubt that he was their god. They were all very devoted, and many were excited. It appeared as if they all were born for the day they would meet him.

One of the bolder humans, probably their leader, raised his head from his place on the ground, trembling before he spoke. “Oh great sculptor, long have we awaited your return!” Sin turned to stare the man in the eye. He trembled for a brief second, and then continued. “Here we have a sacrifice for you, a possessed monster from the black lake.”

Sin’s attention was snagged by those words. Could it be… the Black Lake? Sin’s attention snapped back to the faceless one once more. He came from the black lake? How? Sin was the only one! He was the only one! Why did the Black Lake accept another? Impossible! Why did that delectable black water betray him?

He’d find out soon enough.

Sin whipped his clawed hand out of the fire, digging it into the stranger’s faceless skull.

So it began.

Sin’s hand scrounged around the inside of the stranger's head, but... his brain was missing? There was no mind, no life source. This guy was a spiritless shell.

He vanished. Sin’s eyes were wide with amazement. One second he was there, and the next…

“Hello, pawn.”

Sin wheeled around, swinging his blades where this stranger was once standing, but in his place there was nothing but a white smoke. Sin cursed. He knew it wasn’t going to be easy if it were true that he came from the lake.

A gust of wind from behind signaled his attack, and Sin’s blades were ready to block it. The first clash between the powerful combatants only began a series of many other strikes. Sin moved back, taking the defensive. He never took the defensive. He couldn’t think clearly. He could only block and walk backward, he’d have to move up to his more powerful techniques already.

The villagers moved away to make room for the two, surprised at how their prisoner escaped and retrieved his blade without them noticing. Still, watching their god in action amazed them. They weren’t afraid to die if they got in the way. This was a great day, and death on this day would be an honorable one.

The faceless fighter heaved his dark blade through the air, just barely missing his target before Sin sunk through the ground. He vanished nearly at the same time, appearing on the roof of a nearby cottage.

Sin was gone, or invisible. The stranger didn't know which, but was secretly pleased.

The dark lord appeared from behind. He didn’t have to turn around, he saw him anyway. A mere fraction before Sin’s blade would have struck him, a dark portal suddenly swallowed him up, spitting him out a second portal directly in front of the faceless man. The stranger heaved his blade toward his back, meeting metal with metal.

Sin signaled one of his weapons to fly on its own. The faceless saw it, catching it in a black hole, sending it into the ground below. His blade met Sin’s again, grinding down its serrated teeth to the guard.

The god of darkness let go of his sword, the faceless flipping it off to the side. Sin back-flipped off the building and to the earth below, simultaneously firing an orb of black fire.

He saw it coming, and enveloped it in one of his swirling portals just before Sin’s blade returned to fighting him. Again he sent the blade away with his vortex ability.

“Is that the only trick you can do?” Sin shouted from below.

On queue, dozens of the same black portals covered the area. One of the villagers accidentally stepped in one, falling out another somewhere in the distance, screaming. There were so many it was hard to see the sky.

Sin stared at the swirling doorways, intrigued by their design and function. Did the black lake grant him this ability? Whatever it was, Sin wanted it, but this faceless man didn’t seem to have a mind to devour. What was this guy exactly?

The faceless stabbed his sword into the roof of the building, removing his hat with his other hand. “This is true power, Sirius, the ability to outwit your opponent, not sheer force. No matter how strong your attack is, I’ll be able to deflect it.”

His voice, where was it coming from? He knew he was the one speaking, but his voice didn’t come from a particular direction. It seemed to be sounding from within his head. It didn’t matter, Sin would kill this thing soon enough.

The faceless man tossed his hat through a vortex. It was then that Sin noticed how the portals were lined up, realizing the razor sharp blade lining the rim of the stranger’s hat. The hat flew from one hole and into another, coming out one more and back through another. It was zipping rapidly through and across all the different doors, moving through them quickly in his direction. If Sin tried to move, he would fall through one of the portals due to there being so many, but if he stood still the hat would hit him. He let the hat come. Sin smirked. Finally, the bladed hat was upon him. First it passed through his chest, not harming him the slightest, but when it came back from a different portal, it was flying true toward his only weak spot: His head. Sin saw the projectile coming. He could have dodged it, but he didn’t. He grabbed it with one hand, blade doing nothing to his armored hand.

Sin began to laugh. “Your tricks don’t work on me.” His voice trailed off because when he turned his head back to the faceless, he wasn’t there.

The portals all vanished. Sin spun around, sword snapping into his hands. He swung hard, decapitating the stranger’s head from his body. But he also received a wound: A sword through the front of his head, out the other side.

Both stood there for a full minute. A headless body and a skewered god. Neither moved, neither fell. Sin stared at the blade lodged in-between his eyes. He stared at the designs, the blackness of the blade. It was foreign, even to darkness itself. It was darker than darkness, much like himself. A familiar presence suddenly filled his head, and he knew what he was looking at. He knew this sword, and it hurt.

“So you understand now.” The faceless said. Sin took a double take. The man’s head was back as if it were never missing, his hat even atop his head once again. He slid the sword from Sin’s skull, wiping it off on his pants.

Sin snapped his neck to the side, his head healing slowly. “So you come from the black lake.”

He didn’t respond to his question, though it sounded more like a statement. Instead he got straight to the point. “Sin, I have the key.”

The dark god didn’t move. Did he mean… that key? “The key?”

“The key needs to be unlocked before it can work.”

Sin paused. It was that key. “How many?”

“Nine hundred and ninety-nine.” The villagers stirred. They could hear him now.

“Then we better get started.”

He wasn't sure if he should trust this man, but he did have the key. With that key... his true power would finally be unlocked, and he would lay siege to the world.

Dream Warrior, Ryoku Takori

((Before you read this, I must inform you that a fiction I have created is quite similar to this character's universe, but is not exactly similar. Any and all similarities between this character's universe and the one of my fiction are partially coincidence and my choice to make them independant of each other.))

Name: Ryoku Takori
Alias/Title: Ryoku the Connected Shinzui
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Race: Shinzui- A Shinzui is the force that drives living beings to live, and it is what is manifested in Dream World when a living being dreams. A being that cannot dream does not possess a Shinzui, and when a being that possesses it dies, it detaches from their body and exists in our plane of existance as a spirit. Shinzui age slowly if their bodies die, and they will eventually die as well. They do not hunger, thirst, or need sleep, but can enjoy those pleasures.

A Shinzui connected to a body that is still alive constantly produces Dream Energy, making them powerful. In Ryoku's case, he is a Shinzui still connected to his body (Connected Shinzui), even though it is being controlled by another being. Those kind of spirits do not age until their bodies die, but when they are reunited with their bodies, their form meets the age of their corpse.
Hair: Light Brown
Eyes: Green
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 145 lbs.
Theme Song: Blood by Papa Roach

Weapon: Oneiros Kenpei - A blade that is created for a Shinzui when they pass the Shinzui Academy in Dream World. The blade is fashioned for the user's liking, and is indestructable by all means. Capable of amplifying the power of Dream Energy channeled through it, this weapon is used for many purposes, but combat primarily. In Ryoku's case, Oneiros is a katana, and is given the name Oneiros Kenpei (Kenpei meaning authority in Japanese, and Oneiros meaning dream in Greek). The katana can be summoned (by means of teleportation) to Ryoku's hand by mere will. Ryoku can make Oneiros Kenpei come to his hand if he is seperated from it, but can also make it vanish when he doesn't use it. This weapon can affect spiritual, magical, and supernatural beings, including Ryoku hismelf. The katana is quite light, and suits Ryoku's fighting style.
Armor: Ryoku has a guard on his left forearm and wrist, giving some armor if none at all. It is composed of a very tough but light metal.

Strength: By building upon the training Ryoku had done in the real world with training under Xeros and the Military Shinzui Academy of Dream World, Ryoku has attained greater strength, speed, endurance, and jumping skill than most humans. He is proficient with the sword, and also at martial arts. Capable of producing and manipulating Dream Energy, Ryoku can perform a list of abilities that aid him in and out of combat situations. His combat tactics are quite good, but not good enough to outwit an opponent much stronger than himself. Ryoku is quite flexible and acrobatic, but still has his limittations in mobility.
Weakness: Ryoku has little armor, and is vulnerbale to attack because of it. Although he is skillful in fighting, he is pretty much unskilled in real combat. He is a mere novice in controlling Dream Energy, limiting what he can do it battle. Some of his Dream Energy-related abilities have serious limitations, preventing him from using them to their fullest potential. Most of his abilities are low-level at this point, meaning Ryoku cannot fight seriously strong opponents in this point in time. His fighting skill is also quite weak when compared to the skill of seasoned warriors, limiting what he can achieve in combat against a combat-veteran.
Magic/Skills: Below is a list of abilities that Ryoku has learned up to this point in time.

Shinzui's Corporeality- Because Shinzui are composed of Dream Energy and Matter, they are invisible to the naked eye, and cannot influence or be influenced by the physical world. However, to individuals who can see spiritual beings, they are visible and act as if they are compsoed of natural energy and matter, but only to them. By concentrating slightly, Ryoku can make himself corporeal to the physical world, and incorporeal once again. While incorporeal, he cannot be influenced by physical objects nor influence them, but can be affected by spiritual objects and weapons. Over-use of this ability during a short period of time, Ryoku will be stuck in a corporeal form for a long period of time. While incorporeal, Ryoku can perform feats such as going through objects (walls, for example), and can walk on surfaces otherwise impossible if corporeal (such as walking on water, air, etc. as if completely weightless).
Telekinesis- By manipulating the Dream Energy he produces, Ryoku can perform telekinesis on the things around him. He can influence objects around him, but the strength he can affect them in is gauged by a few factors: the distance of the object, the weight of the object, the speed of the object, the amount of object, and foreign control over the object. So, should an object(s) be far away, heavy, fast, numerous in amount, and be under someone else's control, it will be less controllable. An example of Ryoku's moderate strength with this ability is this: he can lift a person around his weight (though with much effort), and throw them back with little force. He is also capable of catching objects it mid-air, and using its force to fling it back. This ability is most often used defensively.
Mediumship- Because of his nature as a spiritual being, Ryoku can see and communicate with spiritual, magical, and supernatural beings as if they were corporeal and composed of normal matter. This allows him to affect them while incorporeal (as if he were corporeal), but he can be affected by as well.
Heavenly Tounge- Spirits are capable of understand all language and writing, so this ability is natural to Ryoku since he is a Shinzui. This ability allows him to understand all speech, communication, and writing, but not in a way one would expect. Ryoku does not understand the language itself, but what the person is trying to convey in that language. A whole language is not understood by Ryoku because he is a Shinzui, but what is conveyed is merely translated into a language he can understand.

Personality: Ryoku is a child of many faces, but all that unite under one lifestyle. He loves to learn about the world around him, and tries to see from everybody's perspective. However, Ryoku does have a dark side, and likes to keep to himself on some occassions. A friendly person that is good at manking friends, Ryoku tries to make friends with all people that are not hostile to him. However, he does get angry on occassion, and he will resort to violence if it comes to it. Not the kind of person who grew up in a perfect household, Ryoku tries to get used to many situations, even if they are difficult.

Appearance: Ryoku

Biography: Ryoku grew up unlike most children, and developed a personality that suited that lifestyle he was forced to have. His parents both came to America from Japan, and settled down in the western United States. There, they had a couple children, including Ryoku. Ryoku's father worked two jobs to keep the family alive, and Ryoku's mother cleaned people's homes to bring in extra money.

However, as Ryoku began to grow up, the money started to collect. This begin to change all his life, as his father stopped his job and became involved in construction. This multipled the family income, allowing Ryoku's mother to stay more at home. When Ryoku started going to school, he began to realize that learning was his passion. However, Ryoku's two brothers and sister would affect his life greatly, as they teased him and put him down.

Ryoku would begin to develop a personality that would fit his lifestyle: he would remain silent most of the time, and acquire information on his surroundings. By doing that, Ryoku would learn alot more about the world around him that others. As Ryoku's family became richer, they moved to a large house, where they enjoyed the things of life. Although they were not extremely rich, they could do things that most people couldn't with their family budgets.

But all this time, Ryoku was still being put down, and his personality morphed drastically as he entered pubertity. He would begin to dream often, and those dreams would be his escape from his life's problems. Ryoku would alter the oneiric world around him, till he would become a sort of god in his dreams. However, even in his dreams did his careful and watchful personality stay.

When Ryoku entered middle school, his family began to lose money, and eventually they lost their house. They moved to a small house, where they tried to solve their financial problems. Even when faced with the loss of everything, Ryoku's father refused to declare bankrupcy. As Ryoku went through middle school, he was teased for his family's poverty, and began to hate those that were better off than him. This anger would grow as he went through middle school, and would be hidden from his friends' eyes.

When Ryoku entered high school, his family began to get more money, but was still under the middle class. Ryoku began to dream more and more, but that would not satisfy him. Ryoku got a part-time job working at peoples' houses, as his older siblings job part-time jobs at other places. This brought some income into the house, but was not enough to get them out of the financial whole. That would begin to cause psychological problems to sprout in Ryoku's father, which made him a more irritable person.

As Ryoku went from freshman to sophmore, he turned into a more social person, but was joked at for his poverty. Because of this, Ryoku literally knocked unconcious a student that insulted him. This caused many students to fear Ryoku: something he didn't want. He began to make friends with other students, but struggled to hold back his anger and frustration. This would call for Ryoku being sent to martial arts classes, where he learned many fighting styles, including the use of a sword.

Ryoku began to dream more and more, and started to create characters in his dreams, those that would act as loyal friends. These "friends" would act positive towards Ryoku, but eventually Ryoku gave them up. Ryoku began tyo accel at his martial arts classes, and acceled even more in school. He attained high grades, and became a student that his teachers were proud to have in their class. Ryoku became popular for being intelligent and sly, but was also infamous for his anger. People who disliked him wanted to destroy him with that weakness.

When Ryoku was 16, his uncle died. To make matters worse, Ryoku broke up with his girlfriend Alex, whom he was going out with for over half a year. This caused grief to overwhelm Ryoku, and he wondered why he should continue living. Suicide was out of the question, but he began to wonder why did he do the things he did. His family was still in poverty, some people disliked him in the society, and many were only friends with him for his skills and not his personality. Ryoku decided it was time to take control of his life, but soemthing stopped him before he could even try.

One night, when Ryoku dreamt, he saw his uncle fighting a figure dressed in odd clothing. Ryoku, realizing he was dreaming, decided to assist his uncle in the fight. By manipulating the outcome, Ryoku managed to get his uncle to win the fight. When the figure in odd clothing vanished, Ryoku's uncle rushed to his nephew. He told Ryoku that people were coming to take him, and Ryoku would never see him again. The teenager, thinking this was an exciting dream, told his uncle to let them come. Ryoku's uncle told him that he wouldn't be able to take them down himself, and warned Ryoku to not wake up, no matter what happened.

Ryoku's uncle began to say things to Ryoku that made no sense, such as there was a world that everyone went to when they died, and there were men and women there that took the dreams of people that were alive, and used them to fight against 'nightmares'. Ryoku asked his uncle what he was talking about, but the man took hold of Ryoku, and brought him to a large field in his dreams where there were two gates: one fashioned of horn, and the other of ivory. He told Ryoku to go through the gate made of horn, and Ryoku did so.

However, a bright light flashed when he went through the gate, and felt a cold chill go past him. When the light dimmed, Ryoku saw himself in a long corridor, where there were many doors and pathways. After walking for a long while, Ryoku managed to find his way out of the building, and stepped out of what looked like a ziggurat in the middle of a modern city. As Ryoku began to walk into the city, he was confronted by people dressed in black. They started to attack Ryoku, but a figure dressed in odd clothing, similar to what the figure that attacked Ryou's uncle was wearing.

The figure in odd clothing managed to destroy the figures in black, and then came to Ryoku. Ryoku started to run away from the man, but the man eventually caught him. He questioned Ryoku, realizing he was not from there. Ryoku responded that he was from the large, ziggurat-like building, and the man's eyes widened. He took hold of Ryoku, and instantly the two were transported to the hallway in the building. The man rushed to a door that was slightly open, but before he could grab the doorknob, the door slammed shut.

The man looked back at Ryoku, and told him to try and open the door that closed. Ryoku tried, but failed. The man sighed as he thought of what to do, and then told Ryoku to relax. He placed his hand on Ryoku's forehead, and the teenager fell unconcious. Instantly, Ryoku shot up as he awakened, and realized that he was in a park and not his bedroom. Ryoku saw it was still night, and got up to look around. He came up to a water fountain, and looked inside the water. He saw his appearance was not visible, but when Ryoku examined himself, he saw that his appearance had changed drastically: his hair color had changed, and he was wearing odd clothes.

Ryoku instantly looked in a direction, and saw a figure walking directly towards him. In fear, Ryoku was frozen as he tried to see who the figure was. When the person neared, Ryoku realized that the figure was himself! However, the figure had a malicious expression on, and stopped when he reached Ryoku.

"How does it feel to be a Connected Shinzui?" asked the figure, which looked exactly like Ryoku. "I hear normal people can't see you naturally, nor can you see your own reflection."

"Who are you, and why do you look like me?!" Ryoku asked.

"My name is Olivier, I am a being that has taken over your body. You were a fool to go through that gate like your uncle said, for you allowed me to enter inside, kill your uncle, and take over your very corpse!" said the figure. "I seem to like this body, for it is very fit. However, it does have a few flaws that need correcting."

"You sick monster..." Ryoku said as he curled his hands into fists. "Give me my body back!"

"Oh, I don't think I'll be doing that. Anyway, see you later, Ryoku!" said Olivier as he walked off. "I always wanted to take over a teenager's body! I heard they can do wonders in the society."

"No!" Ryoku shouted as he ran towards Olivier.

Olivier turned as Ryoku ran at him, and instantly kicked the teenager away. Darting into a run, Olivier managed to reach a speed Ryoku couldn't dream of achieving in his body, and got out of Ryoku's sight. The teenager, realizing what could happen, dropped to his knees, and started crying...

The following day, Ryoku arrived at his home, only to realize that everybody was frantically trying to search for someone. Ryoku, dulled of emotional senses, saw a letter written in his handwriting, saying that he was going to commit suicide. The teenager knew that he couldn't do anything to tell them what happened, so he just wandered the neighborhood for a while. He came across his ex-girlfriend Alex's house, and walked inside. Ryoku came across Alex talking on the phone, and she instantly looked at Ryoku when he came into her view.

Alex instantly dropped the phone, and started to run. Ryoku, not understanding what just happened, looked behind himself. Seeing nothing there, he pursued Alex slowly. He saw her run into her room, and entered inside just by walking through the door. Ryoku saw Alex standing there with a lampshade, ready to strike at Ryoku, but she instantly dropped it when she saw him walk through the door.

"Alex..." Ryoku said with a weak voice.

"W-who are you?" the girl asked with a tinge of fear in her voice. "Why did you come to me for help?"

"I'm Ryoku." replied the saddened teenager. "Something terrible has happened."

"Ryoku?! You don't look a thing like him!" Alex replied.

"I can explain why I look like this, just give me a few minutes." replied Ryoku.

After explaining the whole series of events, Alex stared at Ryoku in disbelief, and told him to stay at her house for a few days. Ryoku thanked Alex, and she told him that despite their relationship was over, she would still be his friend. A few days passed, and Ryoku began to talk with Alex more and more. However, one day, when Alex was at school, a figure dressed in white clothing and appeared to have wings came to Ryoku, and told him it was time to go.

Ryoku didn't know what he wanted with him, but he remembered that Alex told him some beings would come to bring him into the afterlife. Ryoku refused to go with the figure, and told him his story. The man stood in silence, and laughed after Ryoku had finished talking. Ryoku was angry at why the man laughed, and the figure told him that Alex had contacted him recently that he should come and assist Ryoku in getting his body back.

The man told Ryoku to come with him so he could begin to train him how to fight and become powerful enough to regain his body. The man, who said his name was Xeros, said that he was a Soul Reaper, and would teach Ryoku abilities that would aid him in getting his body back. Ryoku went with Xeros, and they entered the world that Ryoku had been in the night he lost his body. Xeros explained that this was a world where living beings's spirits went to when they dreamed, and Soul Reapers brought their spirits there when they died.

The world known as Dream World was large, and complex, to say the least, and was filled with things Ryoku didn't understand at the time. Xeros said that in time he would explain everything, and teach Ryoku to live a life that would suit his current situation, and help him track down Olivier. Xeros also explained that creatures known as Nightmares were waging war with Dream World, and that a figure known as the Crimson Harbinger would help Dream World defeat them. Ryoku asked him if Olivier was a Nightmare, and Xeros snapped up to say that Olivier was not a Nightmare.

Xeros explained that Olivier was a rouge Guardian, or a being that guarded individuals in the physical world. Olivier had joined the Nightmares when a three-part being known as Hypnos had come and took control of a team of Guardians, Soul Reapers, and Shinzui. Olivier was one of the Guardians, and managed to defeat his squad leader, Jinkai, in combat. Ryoku asked that if Olivier could take out his squad leader, how could he defeat him to get his body back?

Xeros never answered his question directly, and began to train Ryoku at the Elite Shinzui Military Academy of Dream World. There, he learned a few techniques that added onto his raw and powerful ability to produce and control Dream Energy. Alex visited him in Dream World whenever she could, and taught Ryoku an ability or two that could assist him. After months of training, Ryoku passed the academy, and became a full-fledged Shinzui capable of fending off Nightmares. However, the day he passed the academy, Ryoku continued training with Xeros, and the Soul Reaper taught him a few more abilities that could aid him in combat.

The following day, Ryoku, Xeros, and Alex traveled across Dream World, and towards the Spirit Realm. There, Ryoku and Xeros would get a pass to go to the physical world, and Ryoku and they would track down Olivier. However, as soon as they got there, a man dressed in royal clothing who wielded an ornate sword stopped them, and instantly incapacitated Xeros. Alex tried to fight the man, but she two was knocked out. Ryoku tried to fight the man as well, but was paralyzed, and a portal behind him was opened. Ryoku was pushed into the portal by the man, and Ryoku fell unconcious as he was transported to a certain location.

Ryoku awoke to find himself in the alleyway of an old and broken-down town. The teenager got up, and started to walk around the large and poverty-struck town. He realized that he was not in Dream World anymore, but in a strange and different world altogether. Ryoku felt a malicious presence present in the town, and he headed towards the seemingly large castle that overshadowed the pitiful town...

Terms: This is a list of terms that one should know so they better understand the world Ryoku lives in, and the things associated with that:

Dream World- A reality that exists alongside our own, but can be accessed naturally by beings that can dream. Only the life force, or Shinzui, can enter Dream World when one dreams, but there are other ways to enter this reality instead of just dreaming. This is where the spirits of the deceased go when their bodies die, and they are brought there by Soul Reapers.
Dream Matter/Energy- The matter and energy that makes up not only the entire reality of Dream World, but makes up the life force, or Shinzui, of living beings that can dream. Dream Matter/Energy is constantly produced by Shinzui still connected to their body, and this energy is manipulated when one undergoes lucid dreaming. The more they control their dreams, the more a person can control Dream Energy.
Shinzui- The spirits or life force in all living beings that can dream, the Shinzui are not composed of natural matter, and is the part of a living being that enters Dream World when they dream and when they die. When a Shinzui dies is Dream World, and their bodies have died in the past, they cease to exist forever. However, a Shinzui can be reincarnated, but this is done by the Rebirth Ritual that is optional to all Shinzui.
Soul Reapers- A group of creatures created to bring the spirits of the dead to Dream World, Soul Reapers are also part-time defenders of the physical world and Dream World as well. They were created long ago, and have remained in existance ever since. Soul Reapers age as slow as Shinzui of deceased people, but possess powers greater than most Shinzui do. They are compoed of the same materials as Shinzui are composed of.
Guardians- A group of beings that guard special individuals in the physical world. Guardians are capable of travelling between Dream World and our world with ease, and have powers that allow them to go almost anywhere. They are composed of the same materials Shinzui are made up of.
Nightmares- A mysterious group of beings that reside in the darkest corners of Dream World. Not many know of the true origins of Nightmares, but rumor has it that they were once the masters of Dream World itself. Although the leaders of Dream World disclaim this fact, some people have their doubts of it being just a rumor. They possess powers based on the darkness affinity, and they are quite powerful foes. Nightmares are compsoed of similar (but exactly the same) materials are Shinzui are.
Onerios- A sword created for Shinzui once they pass the Military Shinzui Academy in Dream World, Oneiros is created to suit the fighting style of its user. On all occassions, the weapon is indestructable, and possesses abilities that enhance the user's way of fighting. Composed of Dream Matter and Energy, Oneiros is a weapon used primarily by Shinzui in battle. Each weapon is given a name meaning something in one language or another.
Military Shinzui Academy- Because Dream World is enemies the Nightmares, they created an institution that would teach Shinzui how to fight. There are different academies across Dream World, but all of them teach a Shinzui how to fight against Nightmares. When one passes the academy, they are given an Oneiros, or a weapon made specifically for their fighting style.

Re: Character List

Name: Stygi
Alias: The White Eye
Race: Soul
Class: Mage
Weapons:
Soul Energy: An unexplained energy that is harnessed from the third plane in the first plane. Stygi is able to control this energy easily though it is not sure why, it thinks it has something to do with, ‘The Gate.
Spirit Energy: An unexplained energy that is harnessed from the third plane in the first plane. Stygi is able to control this energy though it is much harder to control than its cousin, soul energy.
Stats:
Age: Varies
Gender: Varies
Weight: Varies
Height: Varies
Eye color: Its left eye is always covered in a film of blank white while the right eye varies in color.
Hair color: Varies
Description: No one not even Stygi knows much about Stygi. When seen Stygi looks like its host, but while in a mind the viewer of Stygi allows his or her imagination to sculpt the form of it.
Personality: Stygi is a character that has a very mysterious attitude. It does not like to give out any information that the opposition might want and instead acts one step ahead and drops clues (whether they be true or not) as to the desires of others. It seems to show up when tension is tight and has fun with making it tighter by saying sadistic comments. The only time where Stygi breaks its cool is when it is in a raged fight, it seems to Stygi that the faster it gets the battle over with the sooner it can resume its harvest of knowledge for one thing in particular, ‘The Gate.’
Skills and Magic:
Possess: This move allows Stygi to inhabit the body of living being that has just passed away and completely reanimate it without any wounds that were present before possession. This technique must be preformed within an hour of the host’s death or the body’s soul will have been gone for to long for another one to inhabit it. Due to a flaw in the relationship of time, body, and, soul Stygi may only inhabit a body once and if it leaves must search for a new one that has not been taken by Stygi.
Soul Share: Stygi is able to enter a body even though a soul might still be present, however when this is done Stygi will be redirected straight to that thing’s mind. When Stygi enters the mind of the being it can either do it with alarm or with stealth as to not alert the host. While inside a mind Stygi is able to read subconscious script and travel through distortion points as its will. Stygi can stay in a mind as long as it pleases until the host forcefully ejects it outside back into the third dimension.
Ethereal Evacuation: Stygi may at any time quickly leave its host and turn back into its ghastly existence. When the inhabited body had no soul the vessel becomes limp and falls to the floor, if there was a previous soul inhabiting the body upon Stygi’s departure the host will resume life as normal.
Ghastly Existence: Stygi normally exists on the third plane. While on this plane all contact to and from Stygi is rendered impossible. Not even the strongest magic can break this barrier except, ‘The Gate.’
Triple Sight: Stygi has the ability to view the three planes that reside in this dimension at the same time. Though he can see the planes he may only interact with things on the current occupied plane. Stygi’s sight is blocked while in the first plane and as a result cannot view any activity in the second or third plane.
Soul Force: Stygi is able to channel Soul energies from the third plane at all times. This force diffuses through most any matter of the first and second plane (Stygi is the only known exception) allowing what is incased inside of its barriers to also fuse through objects. The usage of this skill may range from flying to walking through walls and much more…
Spirit Arrow: Stygi’s only means of inflicting harm other than physical contact. Stygi quickly calls forth spirit energy in the form of a large arrow and launches it toward its target. The sensation from this magic is an intense stinging that targets the innards of an enemy. Since the attributes of this force have magical powers this move can also harm magical beings. This is not a strong attack and as a result it may be chained in multiple castings.
Open The Gate: A secret technique that not even Stygi knows it knows. A long ceremony is conducted and a large closed eye pattern appears on the surface of the ground with Stygi standing in the middle. For the next thirty minutes Stygi floats in the center while in a trance chanting ancient cryptic words. While the chant is being preformed the eye pattern slowly opens to reveal the white eye that has plagued Stygi for so long. At the point where the eye is fully open Stygi says the final words of the incantation in a rushed tone and then falls to the ground. At that moment soul and spirit energy flow forth like a fountain and move sporadically with no control. The spirit energy will inflict massive harm to all surrounding things. This lasts for as long as Stygi lies unconscious and when is wakes up it Stygi will be in the third plane and unable to return to the first plane for twenty-three years. No one knows what will happen if a living being steps onto the eye symbol while the energies are flowing out.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Stygi’s physical characteristics are prone to the condition of the host at the time of possession. This, in many cases, causes it to be incredibly weak (unless a strong body was possessed). Stygi is also not strong with long ranged attacks (only having one), however what Stygi lacks in attacking strengths he makes up in strategy and reaction time.
History: A human tribe belonged to an unknown dimension. This tribe’s name was lost long ago but the one and only thing that remains from this tribe is their worshiped mask. This mask had a truly mighty power. It could be used to create things that no other thing could and it even could bring things to an end.

One day a philosopher, named Igyts Animret, of this old tribe theorized about various dimensions (he was the first one in the plane to assume this theory). With many more hours shoved into his research this man finally completed his concept of the dimension. This philosopher rushed over to the tribe’s chieftain and pleaded his findings to the old wise man. When the chieftain looked at the philosopher he stopped breathing and died. The guards hurried into the throne room and quickly seized the Igyts. Thrown outside the village walls, the philosopher was banished from his only place in this world.

The first night while sleeping under a tree, the man thought to himself, the only purpose to life was to prove the dimension theory. So, under his tree the man schemed, he schemed for hours until his plan to capture the tribe’s mask and use it to create a portal another dimension. That night he slept with an evil contempt look on his face.

The following night when everyone was asleep the Igyts snuck into his former primitive village and entered the Shrine of the Mask. Making extra sure to stay quite the philosopher snuck around the guards and into the holding chamber where the mask gazed into his heart. The man was kind of freaked out by the mask, he had never seen it before, and it scared him. Aside from that, the man proceeded to dislodge the mask from its pedestal and then head outside into the village thoroughfare.

Giving a maniacal laugh the crazed Igyts placed the mask onto his head and started to scream toward the heavens, “Give me what I so desire great goddess!”

His loud voice echoed through the village and as a result many of the residents began to emerge from their dwellings. Shocked faces riddled the lot as they viewed their own sacred mask about to cause great destruction! The Great house to the near north of the thoroughfare contained the new village chieftain who like others left his house to view the horror. The demented philosopher landed on the ground and the mask glowed with a cold iridescent light. In front of him a blue circle appeared floating in the air; it was expanding – still larger it grew – encompassing houses! The large blue circle seemed to be living because it had created a magical stair step into its center, as if it was calling to the surrounding creatures. Animals of various species stared to form unnatural lines the entered the portal. The humans of the village also started to send themselves into the portal as if they were have been put into a deep trance. The man that was adorned with the floating mask dropped down unconscious.

Waking up while lying on the floor the philosopher rubbed his head then slowly stood up and stumbled while gazing around. He looked around in a daze. Nothing was around him. Burned, charred, a village left in a mess.

“My… My village!” Igyts slumped down in a teary mess, he wept for hours until what he saw left him breathless.

Upon looking up Igyts saw his wife. A picture of his wife was floating in the great blue circle that was in front of him. Raising his arm out toward the circle the man started to run toward his wife. Right before he was able to pass through the portal the image of the woman was crushed by a sun and then an uncanny cold grasped the man and his senses. Not having enough time to comprehend the crushing of his wife the man looked up and saw a huge moon hurdling toward the world. Igyts was struck by fear and anguish (the thought of his wife had just kicked in). Crying he fell backwards into the blue portal and then moments later the world was crushed by the fierce moon.

“Where am I? What am I? Who am… Stygi! The Guardian Plane! Lucky Dimension!” Stygi thought with much anger of his identity, “I must research life.”

Stygi created at that moment yearned to live and understand its true meaning of existence.
Terms:
Dimension: Only one dimension is known by any one thing at a time or else chaos will befall both dimensions. So the concept of dimension is thought of as a theory and a theory only. The definition of a dimension is a set turf in which multiple planes may exist. A dimension has its own universe and own physical laws that govern the world.
Dimension Theory: A theory created by Igyts that stated, “There are infinite dimensions all connected by destruction,” the origins of how this theory was created was lost long ago.
Dimension Theory of Uncertainty: This law is not stated anywhere as to the destruction of dimensions upon proof, but it does still exist. It states, “Any portal that spans dimensions are have a random end point. The points may be certain for x amount of time but then a change will occur.” This often allows for 2+ dimensions to be destroyed upon every portal created.
Plane: Many planes may exist on one dimension. The planes share the turf of the dimension but are separate in all other aspects (species, towns, weather, etc…).
The Three Planes: The three planes that exist on the known dimension are the first, second, and third plane.
First Plane: Sometimes called the corporeal plane, this is where the majority of living things reside.
Second Plane: The second plane, ethereal plane, is where spirits reside. This plane is known to crash and sometimes collide with the first plane. The instability might be due to the fact that this plane was not created the same time as the other two.
Third Plane: The third plane has no other name and almost no one knows of its existence. This is due to the fact that up until Stygi’s time no one ever entered it. This plane is shrouded in mystery.
Guardian Plane: Stygi Knows the third plane by this name, its function and origin is unknown to all, but Stygi hopes to one day find out the answers to theses questions and many more.
Life: Life is the combination of three elements; time, body, and soul.
Time: Time is the first and most important element of life. Time is defined by a string of linear moments that when placed together it will enact the other two elements to move.
Body: Body is a vessel in which life is given a physical appearance. This vessel may take the form of a body, magical shell or a spirit (for the first, first and second plane respectively).
Soul: The element of life that gives will and thought. A soul is what drives the mind to think and the body to act.
Subconscious Script: Writing that exists in a mind. The writing may only be read by visitors and not the owner. This inability to read one’s self’s script is what gives it the name subconscious script.
Distortion Points: Points within a mind where if crossed will warp the thing to a distant part of the mind. These are invisible to everyone however the subconscious scripts leave clues as to the whereabouts of them. Stygi uses old existing points that the mind’s owner created.
Ancient Cryptic Words: These words hail from another dimension and have an elven sound to them.
Closed Eye: The closed eye is a symbol that has a shrouded purpose behind it, all ancient pictures indicating this picture also show a key floating above the center of it.
White Eye: An ancient tribe called the Arojam depicts that the white eye is their doom. This tribe was wiped from existence by an unknown cause.
Eye Symbol: In many old scriptures that come from the Arojam, the Open eye symbol serves as a doorway in which the people of the Arojam are seen walking into.
‘The Gate’: An unknown force that is the goal of Stygi’s research.
Shrine of the Mask: A shrine that held an ancient mask of unimaginable power.
Default Body: The skin of the human body is dark, tan, and rough. Tight brown leather strapped the thin legs of this figure and a matching lighter brown unzipped vest was placed over a bright red long sleeve shirt crafted from cotton. The head of the woman was a not misshapen one bit; however it was a little bit on the small side. Her facial features were small except for a large humped nose place high on the face. An eye patch made from thick black cloth was placed sloppily over the left eye (concealing the white eye) and laced over red hair that was crafted into a tight bun in which nothing could penetrate. This body was clearly a female adventurer.

Re: Character List

Approved by the most awesome Ranarath!

Name: Gaerk

Age: 22

Race: Twili

Sex: Male

Hair: Relatively long, orange hair that is tied back in a very tight ponytail.

Eyes: Black with large, glowing, orange pupils.

Weight: 125 lbs

Height: 5 ft. 11 in.

Weapon: A naginata consisting of a black hilt with Twili patterns glowing green all across it. An orange gem protrudes from the far end of the hilt and is incased in a light steel that makes up the guard. Extending from within the gem is the blue-green blade of the weapon. Unlike the thin, flexible blade of a normal naginata, this blade curves upward a bit more and is much wider, appearing more like a short falchion's blade.

Armor: The only actual armor he wears is a steel chest plate he wears under his robes. It isn't very thick, making it both light wear and not as defending as real fighter's armor.

Strengths: As all Twili, Gaerk is an adept in the arts of dark magic. Although existing outside the Twilight Realm, these powers are very much limited. This has lead him to train in the use of his weapon more, giving him moderate abilities in melee combat. He isn't very agile or strong, but he is very intellegent and can often outsmart foes that are seemingly stronger then him.

Weakness: Aside from tactics, a limited defense spell, and a thin plate of chest armor, he has virtually no protection from physical attacks. He isn't trained to stay in close combat long and is easily overpowered in a pure physical brawl. Because he wields a long, staff-like weapon and his spells take concentration to cast, close quarters are very dangerous for him to be in. His lack in physical strengths also leave his body tired after excessive combat. He can go through a full fight without any problems, but being outnumbered, hit consessively, or victim to several fights in a row will break him quickly. Being of a race destined to shadow, light in general weakens him and light magic of even low levels can break through most of his spells and outmatch him.

Skills/Magic: Twilight Matter: No matter where he is, Gaerk has the ability to break his body down into twilight matter. Doing this leaves him unable to attack but allows for incredibly fast movement in any direction. This ability can be performed almost instantaniously, but being in this raw form also drains his spell casting ability very quickly, making it very unwise to be in for more then a few seconds.

Dark Manipulation: This spell takes time to cast depending on what he is trying to control. The larger, heavier, or more resistant something is, the more time and concentration he needs to put into casting. Once it is cast, however, Gaerk has a telekenetic hold over his target and can manipulate it or move it anywhere for as long as he can hold the spell. Due to the resistant nature of an opponent, this spell can be used as an attack but it takes time to cast and the hold can only exist for a few seconds. He can, however, cast this spell on himself to allow for relatively unstable levitation.

Wave of Shadow: This spell takes a few seconds to cast, but leaves Gaerk completely defenseless as it requires both hands, concentration, and a stable position to prepare. Gaerk holds his naginata in one hand, and uses the other to directly channel some of his spell energy into the blade in an unstable manner. The blade is unstabley charged with darkness and swingin the blade from this point on flings the dark energy off of it like water. To a creature not of the darkness, this serves almost as acid.

Twilight Shield: This spell also takes time and concentration to use, but is well worth the wait. Casting the spell makes an invisible wall of force appear in front of him. It moves with the palm of his hand and is virtually weightless but only lasts for a few minutes.

Pulsating Horror: Extending his palm, a few moments of concentration allows for several waves of pulsating energy to explode from the open hand. The energy overcomes creatures not of darkness and leaves them stunned.

Beam of Darkfire: With two fingers held foreward, darkfire erupts from the fingers and quickly burns through most living material. Casting the spell leaves him a little open but only requires a few seconds. It has a limited range of 30 ft.

Appearance: His skin is of the same pale blue that characterizes all Twili. Glowing green Twili marks are present on his hands, forearms, neck, and back. The unnatural black hue of skin is invisible under the robes, but actually makes up a good deal of his chest and legs, ending just below his breast. He wears black robes that are designed to not hinder him in normal combat. They are very open and cut like trousers around both of his legs, giving him a bit more dexterity with his legs then would exist with a normal robe. The top of the robe hangs over in the back, ending at his thighs. He wears a cloak over the robes and keeps himself hooded most of the time. The cloak is also black but shares the glowing, green Twili patterns. He has an orange tuft under his lip and one of his eyebrows are pierced twice.

Personality: Gaerk is more or less close-minded and arrogant. He doesn't show a lot of symapthy for others but is nonetheless very social around those he appears to like (limited only to those he is interested in or needs to get something out of). He is impatient, bad mannered, and pushy but likes to make a good first impression just incase he may need someone later. In combat, he chooses to avoid direct confrontation with an opponent unless it is in his favor or it's required of him. He isn't a risk taker and is always a little precautious.

Biography: Gaerk was born and raised and, like every other Twili, destined to die within the Twilight Realm. Spending his time studying the ancient art of magic, he became phenominally powerful in his abilities and quickly began to master all of the old arts. He was very popular as a child but never established a real connection with anyone other then the magics he studied. Due to this level of power he had reached, Gaerk worked under the rulers of the Twilight Realm as a protector and scholar, further expanding his abilities and rising to a level within the society that none would have expected of him. Here in the world of his destiny, Gaerk had grown and reaped his own success to until he was ultimately content with his life, still at such a young age in his life.

A day came upon the world of Twilight where an invasive force of beings from another world came, planning to take the Realm. Gaerk lead the charge against the strange army, wielding a bladed staff he had forged of his own magic. The Twili spells did little against these beings, however, as the creatures shrugged off the darkness like water. They could do little more in the fight and were met with many a defeat. Outmatched, outnumbered, and overpowered, the Twili had little choice but to pull back their forces. Gaerk had promptly decided that their only chance of victory required the destruction of the portals through which the beings were pouring out of. With a small band of soldiers, the young warrior travelled out to destroy the portals.

The mission required stealth, but thanks to the shear power of his magic, Gaerk easily sealed all the portals save for one. Upon reaching the last portal, the enemy had fortified it's position for the sole purpose of it's defense. Gaerk sent his remaining men forward to attack the bulk of the defenders, knowing that it was suicide. Using his men as a distraction, he quickly went forward and began to seal the portal. In the last moments, an arrow struck the would-be hero and lurched him into the closing portal.

It's tie with both worlds now shattered, the portal sent him flying out of dimensions and leaving the entire world that he knew behind. He knew niether where he was going to land, or if the portal would ever align itself with a world again. Channelling through an endless tunnel, Gaerk made a final swear to himself that no matter what would happen, he would find a way back to his homeland. Almost as soon as he swore his oath, the portal miraculously re-opened itself and sent him hurling into the exit. As he drew nearer, he felt the powers of the Twilight world begin to fade and weaken. The great power he once had, almost drained into nothing. By some chance of fate, the Twili retained some of his power as he exploded from the other side of the portal.

It was hard for him to rise to his feet, but for some reason he was still whole and actually possesed a good deal of his magic. Unfortunately he was now in a world where his powers were diminished and he stood alone in a place he had never seen before.

Re: Character List

Name: Dybia
Age: 46
Race: Human
Sex: Male
Hair: Short salt and pepper colored
Eyes: Blue
Weight: 183 lb
Height: 6 foot 7
Weapon: Pair of enchanted iron gauntlets, enchantment gives an elctric charge to his punches. Also allows him to shock the hell out of his enemies by grabbing their sword or weapon to amplify the charge.

Also carries a platinum gold hilted sword wrapped in a cloth, that he never uses. Hung from his belt. The sword also has magical properties allowing him to focus the electricity into a bolt of lightning, on the rare occasion that he uses it.

Appearance: Wears a long sleeved unbuttoned blue jacket (ever watch full metal alchemist? sort of like those military coats but it only goes down a few inches below his waist) that has a hood on it. Wears a pair of slightly loose long denim pants(not fall down loose, just free movement loose) And a black shirt under his jacket and a pair of leather steel soled boots. His gauntlets bear a symbol of a forgotten god, a circle with a + inside. The symbol is also on the back of his jacket. Has a belt that hold medicines and ointments, various things like that. Has short hair done like axel's in my avatar. The best way to say it is he looks a whole lot like greed from soul calibur 3, by look and sound.

Strengths: close combat is his major strength, and he has great speed and strength. The vision in his bio below gave him great longevity. That's why he can still fight at his age as a human.

Weaknesses: no armor off of his hands, and not good at ranged combat. If he's severly wounded the electricity's power is severly cut.

Magic: His ability to focus lightning through his gauntlets and sword. The enchantment on the gauntlets I mentioned earlier is what lets him do this and he can only focus lightning bolts through his sword but can still shock the hell out of anyone else by grabbing theirs. He can also focus the electricity through the steel soles of his boots to power up hs kicks but he does feel a small jolt going through his legs each time so it takes a little out of him each time.

Bio: He was born and raised in a mining town in the west that exported iron mainly. At one point the town got lucky and found artifacts of an underground culture. They found riches not only in the old fortunes, but from museums who bought the artifacts. One day they struck the wrong wall releasing a noxious gas left by the ages of rotting corpses and other contained gases in the mining tunnel. Many were killed from that day including Dybias father.

Those that got out had to abadon the town because the gases seemed to stay in the tunnels never dissapating. Moving from mine to mine always running out, never getting lucky like that one time. Most were able to support themselves for many years from the small fortune they had gotten. Dybia was still scarred from then, so he simply kept digging, never socializing much. He left the other people to find some new surroundings, but just get back to mining.

At the age of 21 he was on an archeological dig, Dybia had been at the dig for three days for the 6months it had been going on. On the third day he struck the wall of what looked like an altar chamber. He walked forward to the altar where his future weapons layed. There were skeletons laying through the room of all types, man, beast, monster, and some carrying weapons. As soon as he touched them though (in Indiana Jones fashion) the skeletons in the room started to come to life one by one. At just that moment one of the other diggers walked in with a look of awe at the large room.

"run!!" dybia yelled darting for the entrance with the gauntlets and sword in hand. "what?" the man said with dybia passing him a skeleton caught him in the head with a scimitar. the miners had installed points of explosives in several points in the mines and with the skeletons preoccupied with the many miners that were too slow to react. all Dybia had to do was set it off. When he made it to the entrance he slowed down to carry and place one more set of dynamite at the entrance with only five other diggers coming out from behind him, he jumped to the plunger setting off the dynamite. If not destroying but trapping the undead skeletons in the tunnels.

When the 6 of the were leaving to report what had happened to their employer Dybia decided to put on the gauntlets. As soon as he put them on, he was given a vision from a forgotten god. Giving him great power from within the weapons he took from the altar.

He left the diggers to pursue new opportunities with his new power. He kept fighting and getting more powerful and skilled with his new weapons. Over the 25 years from then, he did not make many enemies, because most were not left alive to hold grudges.

Personality: Not a big talker, Fights when he finds some justification or loop hole for it. Doesn't like to play the hero, but does have a good sense of right and wrong. Not good at making friends, but picks the best allies when he does.

Re: Character List

Might as well put 'em all here....

Soledad
----------------------

Name: Soledad Marquis

Age: 21

Race: Human

Sex: Male

Hair:Black hair, spiked up so it stays out of his eyes

Eyes: Dark brown eyes

Weight: 155 lbs

Height: 6 ft. 1 in.

Weapon: A short sword with no special powers. He also carries a dagger with a magical jewel in the hilt that gives him the power to call it back to him. The hilt is gold and the short blade is serrated. The further away it is, the more he must concentrate to call it. Not only can he call it back, but he can also control its movement in the air.

UPGRADE: A ruby found in a treasure cove on The Island of Waterfalls gives the dagger the ability to drain energy from any living thing that touches the blade and gives it to whatever touches the ruby next. This means that it can even drain Soledad, and it can give energy to whoever touches it first, Soledad or not.

Armor: A simple light chain mail shirt. He avoids heavy burdens in order to stay quick and silent.

Strengths: He was found to be skilled at sneaking and thieving, so he has taken the job of an assasin. He is great at hiding in the shadows, so he usually only goes out at night.

Weakness: Since he's not usually out in sunlight, his skin is pale and he can be stunned by a bright light. He is usually weaker during the day. He is also no good at hand-to-hand combat because he's not too strong.

Skills/Magic: Has the ability to cloak himself, making him invisible to even the well-trained eye. This works better in shadow, for in light he runs the possibility of being seen. In direct light his form appears as a shimmering version of whatever is behind him.

Appearance: He can usually be found dressed in a black shirt, dark green pants and some black shoes. His shirt and pants have no design, but his shoes have magical symbols to imbue them with the power to help him stay silent and quick. He usually carries a sack on his belt to keep healing herbs and other useful items. His sword sheath is across his back and his dagger is kept out of sight most of the time at his waist. It is usually concealed by the a heavy black cloak that he usually wears over everything. In most circumstances, the hood is found pulled up, covering his face as the cloak hides his lean figure.

Personality: During battle he will kill, but only what/who he needs to. He values life and does not believe that it should be wasted by killing needlessly. If he is threatened he will only defend himself until his life is in danger. In everyday life he is stand-offish. He does not like to talk, and he will answer things with as little talking as possible. If he gets annoyed he will sometimes show his dagger to get them away. He's not mean, he just likes to be alone and contemplate the world.

Biography: He grew up in a large city with his parents and his older brother. It was a regular life, at the beginng. He always looked up to his brother, like any other small boy. He grew up in relative peace. His life was made simple by the fact that his parents had money. He lived comfortably all throughout his boyhood.

Soledad was a good boy, but his brother always got bored. When he got into his teens, he began experimenting with other kinds of fun. Eventually he fell into the wrong groups and when he started getting into bad things, Soledad followed in his footsteps. His brother managed to get major debts, and Soledad's parents became suspicious and cut off his money supply. That's when his brother turned to more illegal methods of acquiring money. When his skill in sneaking was found out, Soledad was exploited by his brother and his friends. They used him to get the things they wanted.

His life changed on one routine theft.

"Come on Soledad," his brother prodded. "Do it for me." That line always worked, and it succeeded this time as well.

"Alright," the young boy caved. Jumping quickly up a row of boxes, Soledad reached a high window and opened it with a small knife. Jumping down into the warehouse, he landed silenty and carefully, not tripping any alarms. Looking across the room, he noticed a master switch. Before moving, he kicked up dust all around him and revealed the trip wires all along the floor. Walking carefully, he easily made it over and disconnected the traps. Calling to his comrades, he opened the door to let them in. They charged in rowdily, ready to claim their spoils. In their eagerness they failed to be careful. Soledad had missed some traps and they were triggered quickly. Everyone dropped what they had and ran, trapping Soledad under a heavy dresser. Unable to move, he called out to his brother.

"Diego! Where are you Deigo?" His calls got no reply. His brother had failed him. When the authorities had arrived, they brought him to his parents. They were immensely ashamed, and sent him off to his aunt's. She lived in a far-off village, and Soledad looked to his brother for support. Once again, he was let down. Soledad never told, and his brother never confessed.

Off at his aunts, he trained himself in swordplay. A local sparring place gave him a place to train and learn. The open wilderness allowed him to hunt for himself and explore to his heart's content. But none of this gave him true joy; he always felt the stinging pain of his parents' rejection and his brother's betrayal. That never left him, even in the happiest of times.

His aunt was a kind woman, allowing him freedoms he could never have had in the city. He could go wherever he wanted and do whatever he wished as long as he was back by dark. He exercised this freedom every day, often choosing to go off into the wilderness and support himself for the day. This seclusion led to his later personality...and his special weapon.

One day while exploring in a cave near the beach, he saw something washed upon the shore. When he went closer to examine it, he found it was a treasure chest. He opened in eagerly, but saw nothing but a ratty, old map. When he brought it home to his aunt, she was surprised. When he asked her about it, she told him a story.

"Do you know why I'm widowed?" she asked him, the firelight from her hearth illuminating her face. Soledad nodded slowly. "It's because my husband, your uncle, went off to sea and never returned. You see," Soledad hung onto every word of her tale, "your uncle was a pirate." She began to laugh, and Soledad dismissed it as a tale.

A few weeks later, he noticed the map on his desk. After examining it closely for the first time, he noticed landmarks from around the area. Realizing that it was more than just a story, he followed it eagerly to the "X". When he reached the spot, he dug. After more than a day of digging and resting, he was just about to give up when his shovel hit something hard in the ground. Digging it out, he found another chest just like the one that had contained the map. Positive this was the treasure he knocked off the lock and opened it. Inside was no gleaming treasure, just a faded dagger and a small note.

"The Dagger of Destiny. May the wielder find all of its powers and use it for good. When you complete it...it shall be the Ultimate Power." Soledad didn't understand any of it, but just picked up the dagger and examined it closer.

It was nothing out of the ordinary. Just a golden hilt with a small, serrated blade attatched. Turning it over, he noticed a small blue jewel embedded in it. He attempted to pull it out, but it was set firmly. Giving up, he brought the chest and all to his aunt. When he showed it to her, she merely smiled and patted his head.

"Take care of that dagger," was her only comment.

When he got to the age of 19 he set off on his own to make an honest living. His aunt waved him off merrily and reminded him of his fate.

"That dagger holds secrets neither you or I can imagine. Your uncle staked his life on it. Take good care of it."

He could never hold a job, for his skills had only been developed in fighting and sneaking. For most of his life after his aunt he just kept moving from town to town. Finding no other alternative, he was approached by a shady character in a shady town. In a back alley, he got his first taste of his future. The man had an enemy, one he wanted dead. Soledad took the money and hardened himself for his kill. Unfortunately, something went horribly wrong. Forced to be on the run, Soledad continued doing the only thing he was good at. Now he travels around the world looking for another job so he can get some food and a warm bed to sleep in.

UPGRADES: See Weapons. Approved by WOTS.

Rex
----------------------

I've been wanting to create a new character for a while now.

Name: Rex

Age: 19

Race: Human (No more demon)

Sex: Male

Hair: Black hair combed down in a bowl shape

Eyes: Brown

Weight: 250 lbs

Height: 5' 8"

Weapon: A sacred sword named Eliendel he inherited, it was given to him to help control his "outbreaks". After he defeated Scion, he keeps it with him as a memento. It reminds him of the family he once had, and how he defeated the beast that took it all away.

Armor: An enchanted armor that changes along with Rex, it is a light blue color and it covers his whole body except his face, hands, and feet. It isn't anything special, it can block weak (and I mean very weak) magic attacks, but it can handle most physical attacks.

Strengths: In his human form, he can use some of the demonic powers (see Skills/Magic) because Scion left his mark for all eternity. Since he's been training with Eliendel since he was very small, he is a master with it. He's also stronger than most normal men, so his attacks pack a punch.

Weakness: His powers in his human form are pretty weak, and they take a lot out of him if he uses them too much. Since most of his skills are fire-related, he's also weak against water. He isn't good against long-range attackers, and he can hardly use any weapon other than a sword. Even with another sword, he isn't nearly as good as he is with Eliendel. Because his attacks are so strong, he isn't able to attack quickly.

Skills/Magic: Thanks to Scion's longtime possession of his body, Rex has retained the powers the demon used, only weaker.

Fury: This power allows him to increase his physical power, but he immediately loses control. He can't tell who or what he's attacking, he just does.

Fireball: He can create fire in his hands and throw it at someone. If fire is already available, he can use that. This is one of the powers he uses in human form. In either form, the power it uses depends on how big the fireball is and if he must create the fire. It will exhaust him quickly if there's no fire around for him to use.

Heal: He can heal minor wounds on himself and he's learning to use it on others. This is another power he uses while he's human. This only takes a small amount of energy because he can only heal small wounds.

Flame Shield: He can use flames to create a shield around him. This uses a lot of energy if there's no fire around. Rex can use it, but he hardly does because it will take up all his energy.

Appearance: He looks just like a normal human most of the time. Pretty average height, he doesn't stick out much in a crowd. He's muscular, but not so much to draw stares. He isn't fat, but he has girth because of his muscles. His face always betrays his intentions. If he's happy his eyes smile. But whenever he's deep in thought they reflect his mind's absence.

Personality: Normally a nice guy; very friendly and he loves to get to know people because he never wants to hurt anyone again. He assumes the best of everyone, no matter what they may look like. He hopes that someday his good deeds will drive the demon out.

He's a bit of a ladies' man, or tries to be. He'll move in on most women he meets. At the least, he likes to be close to girls, even just as friends. He wears his heart on his sleeve and is a bit of a romantic.

In battle, he is still lighthearted. He is always optimistic, no matter who he faces. He is a fierce fighter, even without his demon form. After battles he mourns for any who are dead. Everyone he kills, he gives a proper burial, and everyone he defeats he will try to comfort with a few parting words.

Biography: Rex grew up in a small village with a normal family. He had a younger sister that he always protected from anyone who would do her harm. He lived peacefully for the younger years of his life.

When he turned 15, his parents told him of his curse. Since the beginning of time a cunning demon named Scion had tricked humans with bargains of power or life. Each pact he made gave him more power, and each time the human who dealt with him died soon after.

Years ago, his ancestors made a pact with a mighty demon for ultimate power. They went off to try to rule the world, but they were quickly defeated because of the trickery of the ancient demon. The demon's name was Scion.

Scion knew he was soon to be parting the mortal realm to be thrust into the underworld, so when he made that pact with Rex's ancestors he had them promise him one of their children. They obeyed, and he inhabited the child's body, not always controlling but always there. That child escaped when the ancestors were destroyed, and he lived peacefully and had a family. Every third generation the demon would return to inhabit the firstborn of the family.

Eventually Rex's family caught on, and they sought for a way to prevent the demon from possessing their children. They went to a blacksmith who had the ability to make blessed weapons and pleaded him for something to destroy the demon with. Since Scion was an ancient being, he could not be destroyed. Instead the smith made a sacred sword, Eliendel, to hold back the demon's powers. Whoever wielded the sword could keep Scion at bay.

The family passed the sword on through the family, and then Rex's parents gave it to him. He trained to master the sword so he could control Scion, but unknown to him, it had lost some of its power over all the years.

A band of thieves famous across the nation stumbled onto their village while escaping from a heist. Most of the townspeople obeyed the thieves and they quickly took the village. The thieves took everything the little town had, including Eliendel. When they took the sacred sword, Rex's parents stood up and revolted. Just outside of the town, a battle erupted. Many of the thieves were killed and run off, but they eventually won in the end. Rex had participated in the battle, and lay on the ground slowly dying. Then a giant bird appeared in his vision.

"I...can save you" it whispered in a calming tone. "I can save them all. I can make the thieves go away. I can give you power beyond your imagination. Join with me."

"You're...Scion..." Rex breathed.

"Very good" it replied in its real voice, a raspy tone that sounded like two stones rubbing together. "Now, do you want to live? Do you want to defeat them? Do you want to save your parents?"

The last line struck a chord, and Scion knew it.

"Yes...your parents. They'll die without me. Unleash me. Stop holding back. I can save them all."

Rex gave into the demon's pleads. He stopped thinking, stopped resisting death and the demon, he even stopped breathing. Then he rose with glowing red eyes.

"Yesss..." the demon hissed in delight. He then grew into his demonic form. The thieves ran in fear, but each of them was chased down and ripped apart, supplementing the demon with more power. He burnt everything around him. After just a few minutes, not a living thing stirred. The demon was finally free to walk again. He first used his demonic powers to create armor for himself.

After a few years of destroying towns and villages, a powerful priest confronted the demon. After a huge battle, he attempted to seal the demon away forever. But instead of being sent to the underworld, Scion changed back into Rex. The priest was astounded, and cared for him until he was healthy again. When he was well, the priest explained all that had happened.

Rex was astounded, and immediately went back to his village. All he found was charred land and corpses. As he sifted though everything, he found Eliendel in the clutches of a dead body. As he gazed into its eyes, he knew that it was his father. He had managed to free the blade from the thieves. But Rex had killed him. He searched around the charred bodies and tried to see any hints of the rest of his family. He never managed to find the bodies of his mother and sister, but he had no hope for them.

"I thought you said you would save them!" he yelled at the sky.

"I did. Life is suffering. They were saved from it all."

"Where are you?!" Rex demanded.

"I am in you. Forever. Never forget that."

Rex left the place after burying every body and never returned. He wears the enchanted armor as a reminder of what he could become at any moment. Now he travels the world trying to do good wherever he can and hoping he never has to let Scion control him ever again. But he has other motives, too. He is always searching for the one thing that will bring him true happiness. (<-----HINT, HINT!!)

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

After traveling, Rex met up with a fallen angel named Mesfido and drove Scion out. The details are found in The War Within.

Algol
----------------------

Name: Algol ("Demon Star")

Age: 30

Race: Human

Height: 6' 3"

Weight: 230 lbs.

Eye Color: His left is red and his right is blue.

Weapon: A long halberd called "Demon Soul". Its handle is wooden and the staff is mostly taken up the size of the blade. It's almost like a huge sword, somewhat like Cloud's of FF VII. It is heavy, but he wields it quite easily.
Pic.

Armor: A light chain mail shirt that doesn't cover his arms. Instead he has silver gauntlets that cover his hands except for his fingers. He also has some heavy boots with steel bottoms and toes that cover his .

Strengths: His eyes are special. Obviously, they are of two different colors. His right is imbued with perfect vision and even a little above that to compensate for his other one. Thanks to the accident (see bio), Algol's left eye is blind to the normal spectrum. He can see almost every other with it, though. From elements, energy, and infrared to radio waves and the like (Yes, he can view the waves moving through the atmosphere, sorta like ultrasonic stuff; he'll notice when it bounces off objects). He can change through these different spectrums at a thought.

He is also skilled with his halberd. He's had it since he was reborn into a younger body, and has trained everyday with it. It is the only thing that can defeat the one who ruined his life.

Along with that he can use a little bit of magic. He has small elemental attacks he can use because of an amulet he wears. He cannot combine them, and he can only use one at a time, for the amulet can only hold one element.

He has the hidden ability to transform, but his spirit has not yet been released. So as of now, he is trapped being human.

Weaknesses: His blind eye gives him a distinct disadvantage. His depth perception is off as he hasn't trained in using both together. Usually he just wears an eye patch over the irregular one so it won't distract him. This is the same for when he uses the other eye. He moves the patch and the his perception is skewed the opposite way. There's also the fact that his red eye is very succeptible to being blinded. For example, an object that gets too hot while he's in infrared view will blind him and incapacitate him for a whlie.

Although he can use some magic, if his amulet is taken away he cannot. It is the only thing that allows him to do it. Also, he cannot use any elemental attack without the element already present. After he has absorbed an element, he is then succeptible to the element's opposite.

His halberd can also count as a weakness. Although he is proficient with it, it is still heavy. Even though he can wield it quickly for its size, his attacks are still quite slow. Any quick opponent can easily dodge his attacks. Also, once he starts an attack, he usually can't stop it. Both the weight of "Demon Soul" and his own boots slow him down considerably. Not only is he a slow attacker, he's an all-around slow mover.

His volatile personality is also a hindrance. He is easily angered and will often stop thinking while he's infuriated. Most battles he wins is by brute force alone. Although he is a good tactician, he rarely uses his mind.

Magic/Skills: His eyes could count as a skill. One sees normally, while the other views in the spectrums outside of the normal range.

He also has control over a few elemental spells. The element must be in the immediate area for him to absorb and then use it. In order to cast a spell he must first gather it from around him and concentrate it in the amulet. After that's done he has to concentrate again to use it in the spell he wishes. The spells' strength depends on how much of the element Algol has absorbed and how much of his own energy he puts into it. The stronger the element is around him, the less energy he has to use unless he wants an extremely powerful attack. With the darkness spells, he can use his own energies entirely for those. He can absorb darkness within his soul. He still has to take the energy into the amulet, and it also takes more out of him than the other spells because he is using everything from himself instead of another external source. For the light spell to work he must absorb the goodness from those around him. It usually takes longer for this to work, especially if the target is unwilling, because he has to extract it from someone else. He can also manipulate whatever element that he's absorbed.

Fire Wall- A simple attack that creates a wall of fire that charges at the target. Its size varies on the amount of fire element, but with a reasonable amount of energy it is pretty hard to dodge around.

Tsunami- A water attack that envelops the enemy in a torrent of water, effectively drowning them if they stay in too long.

Ice Blast- If there is ice about, Algol can use it to create sharp shards that he launches at his opponent.

Earth Shield- Algol's defensive spell. It uses the earth absorbed into the amulet to create a wall of rock that can deflect most attacks.

Gust- Algol can use the wind element around him to push his lighter enemies around. He can also use this to increase his jumping ability so he can soar. If he gathers enough of it he can sustain himself in the air for a time.

Light Flash- If a light element is around, Algol can absorb it and release it in a blinding flash to disorient enemies. It has no effect on him as long as his regular eye is shielded.

Shadow Wave- This spell gathers the darkness from around Algol (or even the darkness from himself) and emits it in a scythe-like shape that can cut through most things.

Appearance: He hardly stands out in a crowd. His muscles are defined from the training using his halberd and constantly traveling with all the weight. He wears a cut-off t-shirt under his chainmail. "Demon Soul" is strapped to his back and hangs there when not being used. His boots are brown where there is no steel. They usually go up to just under his knee and effectively cover his shinwear. Dark green pants cover most of that to about the ankle.

His face is boyish and quite handsome. Unfortunately the perfection is marred because his left eye is scarred. He also shows little to no emotion other than anger. When he smiles, it is an evil grin that shows the true evil that hides inside.

Personality: Algol is usually very unsocial. He has violent tendancies and will kill at the slightest provocation. Due to these tendancies, he stays away from social situations he can avoid so he can stay unnoticed. So if he's not off in a corner by himself, he's probably in the middle of town slicing everyone's heads off. He never laughs or even smiles in joy. Because he stays away from people, he can often be awkward in everyday situations.

In a fight he can often be hot-headed. He is angered easily and becomes blinded by rage. He doesn't usually talk while he fights unless he needs information to find a way to defeat his foe, or he feels like he should scream out taunts and curses.

History: (Taken from The War Within. For optimal understanding, please read both Rex's bio and The War Within.)

The monk's body was like a drop in a pool of water. But this pool was teeming with the souls of the damned. Demons laughed, having their fun with the poor souls that inhabited the area. But as the body fell, they all looked up. Some launched themselves at it, tearing past each other in a mad attempt to gain freedom from the wretched abyss. But one stood out above all.

"This is my sacrifice. Any who take it away will feel my wrath."

The eyes of Puthis fell upon one demon in particular. He had seen it before. And it knew him well. He let out a scream, but he was far from any help. A claw reached up and wrenched the monk's soul from his body, leaving it for the same fate as all the others. The demon then touched the body, and disappeared. The descent slowed, then began to reverse. The body of Puthis erupted from the hole Celina had created as it sealed beneath it. In front of Scion's recently-killed body did the poor man fall.

Rising as if tied to a string by his neck, he slowly turned to face the downed demon. His eyes opened, casting a red light. When he looked upon the eyes of the corpse, it began to glow. It brightened in intesity until one would go blind by looking at it. But Puthis continued to stare. After a minute, the cadaver began shrinking. When it was the size of Puthis, it flew into his body. He slumped down on the ground for a moment, but stood up quickly.

"I liiive!" he roared in delight. All the lesser demons squealed in equal spirits, glad to have a master once more. "I once more have a physical connection to this plain! It is quite fitting, even." He laughed at the irony of his new body, and so did the followers.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

As a parting gift, the demonic angel that revived him handed him an amulet.

"Your soul is sealed. Until you break it, use this. It can gather the elements for you."

The new body was acceptable, but it was much too old. Scion knew he could not defeat his adveraries and claim his revenge if he continued on how he was. So he sought out one of his old friends.

Thelis was a demon of old, just as Scion was. They both escaped from the fires of hell as the new world was being created. Without Scion, Thelis never would have been able to escape. It was only fitting that he return a small favor.

"The Waters of Youth?" Thelis screeched. "It is my own personal spring. Why do you need it?"

"I told you before" Scion said in the old monk's voice, "this body will not do. I need something stronger for my plans. I need revenge."

"I can't just give this to you. You must do something in return."

"It is not I who need to give you something. I can send you back to hell if you'd like." The threat fell on deaf ears.

"You have no power in that body. Don't kid me."

"I kid you not." He held out his hand, and it resonated with a bright light. "Now, go back to hell!"

"I'll do it!" Thelis screamed, frightened beyond his wits. "Don't banish me!"

Scion lowered his hand. The light element within his palm disappeared back into the amulet. His ruse had worked. Moving quickly, he entered the cave and bathed for a day and a half, being waited on by those lesser demons that served Thelis. When he finally emerged, his body had been transformed. No longer was the monk's body old, but instead it looked like that of a healthy youth. Spying a large weapon on the wall, he immediately moved over to it.

"That is mine!" Thelis roared. "You come here and do all this to me, yet still you want more? I've had enough, go away from here." Smiling with evil intent, Scion released the light he had been holding while Thelis was blind. He swiped around wildly in an attempt to kill the mortal body that his old friend inhabited. He caught him, but only his eye. "No! My Demon Soul!" the demon roared as he heard Scion dash into the surrounding area. So Scion named it.

His eye was useless. For a while it could see nothing. But soon Scion's locked demonic powers healed it their own way. It was still blind, but it could see in new ways. He quickly mastered this new sight, but never bothered to use them in unison.

He needed a new name. Thinking back into the "old language," he thought of the perfect one. Translating it into english, he whispered it to himself. "Algol." He was the demon star.

Now he searches for the one who destroyed him. The one named Rex. Imbued with demonic power, "Demon Soul" would be able to counteract the effects of the boy's own sword. No longer would the one he had once haunted have that mystical advantage over him. His blood oath would be completed, one way or another.

Emily
----------------------

Name: Emily

Age: 15

Race: Human.

Sex: Female

Hair: Long, flowing, straight black hair usually tied back into a ponytail.

Eyes: Piercing brown eyes. Uncanny for one so young.

Weight: 110 pounds

Height: 5’2"

Weapon: A brown wooden staff said to be imbued with magical energies. It’s tip is curled into a swirl and it is smoothed all along the outside. It’s most of Emily’s height and she stores it on her back whenever she doesn’t have it out. It’s not much of a physical weapon, though.

Armor: A blue robe with defensive properties against magic. It flows down to her feet and goes over whatever she’s wearing. On the back is a large character in an ancient language that translates to "Protect."

Strengths: Emily’s main strength is her magical abilities. She has both healing and defensive magics, but only a few offensive ones. Due to her lightness, she’s also quite quick and agile.

Weakness: She has weak physical defenses and no armor. She’s also not an offensive person and hardly trained in any fighting. She’s inexperienced in battle and easily trusting. Some would call it being gullible.

Skills/Magic:
Healing magic:
"Aspris" - Heals minor wounds. Cuts, scrapes, small gashes, the like. Only expends a small amount of energy.

"Maxpris" - Heals major wounds. Cannot revive after death, but can sometimes heal mortal woundings. Takes most of Emily’s energy. She an only use it twice a day, or once every twelve hours. She needs the rest of the time to regain her power.

"Revino" - Some call it necromancy. But it is nothing like it. Emily uses some of her own life force to reanimate a recently deceased corpse. And by recently, I mean in a few minutes. It’s highly dangerous and could easily kill her depending on how long it’s been. The longer the person has been dead, the more life force she must use to bring them back.

"Disprata" - Using her magical energies she can extract a demon who is possessing someone. Depending on the strength of the demon, she may have to use more energy. Actually, she can use this spell to extract a demon from most anything.

Defensive magic:

"Fire Dome" - Just what it says. Creates a protective dome of burning flames. Emily can control the size of the dome and intensity of the flames.

"Earth Skin" - Creates a protective barrier of earth around Emily that conforms to her body. It moves with her, as if it’s another layer of skin. She can control how thick the earth layer is. The thicker it is, the slower she moves.

"Refthrin/Refthra" - Creates an unseen magical barrier around Emily that absorbs or reflects magical attacks, depending on the spell she calls out. When the barrier absorbs, the energies go directly to Emily.

Offensive magic:

"Thundra" - Thunder element. A blast of electrical/magical energy. Depending on the power Emily uses it can fry a person or give them a small shock.

"Balsah" - Fires a ball of magical energy. Emily can change the size of it depending on how much energy she uses

She also has the uncanny ability to contact the dead. It seems to be connected to her immense losses at a young age, and the close ties with death and dying she has as a healer.

Appearance: Emily is a bit on the small side, but most of her slender figure is hidden by the loose-fitting clothes she wears. Unlike her brother, she is able to hide her emotions in all of her face except her eyes. But just like him, she’s often wearing a smile that can brighten up a room. Her eyes are constantly shining with an inner glow that can enrapture most people. But they also have a cold stare that can freeze the toughest of men.

Personality: Normally carefree, she will quickly sober up when she talks of her past. And that’s why she’s usually quiet. Though she will talk when approached, she doesn’t usually like starting conversations. She’s not cold, just distant. She’s also quite deep for someone her age. Because of her reserved nature, she’s a deep thinker.

While fighting she’ll stand up to most people, even if she knows she’ll lose. She tries to be brave like her mother, and will stare down whoever insults her or her loved ones. What she lacks in physical strength, she makes up in ferocity. Sometimes that alone is enough to get her through a battle. Sometimes she just falls into fighting, acting only on instinct. Afterwards she won’t remember much.

Biography: "Daddy! Rex! Mommy, where are they?"

"They’ll be fine. I promise. Just stay with me and everything will be fine."

"But what about our house? The dogs?"

"It’s not safe here, Emily! We need to go into the mountains. Please, just stay close."

"Yes, mommy."

Hands clasped in a tight hold, they rushed through the small village, passing by neighbors. Some rushed to the battle, others fled in the same direction as Emily and her mother. Sometimes one of the thieves would appear and terrorize the women and children, but a fighter from the village would quickly come in and engage the stranger in battle. Onward they ran, until it was just the two: Mother and child. They entered the woods, moving constantly onwards towards the mountains. After miles of running, Emily’s mother finally stopped. Panting heavily, she held her child in her arms.

"Emily. You need to be strong. For me, and for daddy, and for Rex." Emily perked up at her brother’s name.

"Okay mommy."

Onward they ran, until they reached a small break in the trees. Looking back, Emily saw smoke rising from the town.

"Oh no…" her mother whispered. "He’s changed." Grabbing Emily’s hand a bit roughly, she kept the young girl moving.

After months on the road, Emily’s mother collapsed on the steps of a monastery. The monks there took her in, caring for her and Emily the best they could. Unfortunately Emily’s mother died soon after. The kindly monks of the monastery took Emily in as one of their own, raising her and teaching her the ways of magic.

When she turned fifteen they entrusted her with an ancient staff. They told her to use it to channel her magical energies.

"Where should I go?" she asked. The head monk, Poriah, answered her.

"Your brother is alive and well."

"Rex?! How do you know?"

"Our brothers in another monastery have found him. They held him there as he healed his wounds. Scion is still within him, though. Go, and find him. You can help him."

Emily set off with a goal firmly in mind. She would find her brother. And she would do whatever it took to free him of his curse.

My TA Characters

This will be a list of characters I will be using for the TA, opposed to the other post with my retired TA characters. It will be subject to change, but I won't change it drastically yet.

Name: Kenji
Age: Existed for 30 years, but doesn't age
Race: Hylian/Cyborg
Gender: Male
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde, spiky hair.
Weight:134lbs.
Height: 5'7"

Weapon: Starts out without none. See magic/skills for weapons he can create.
Armor: None.

Strengths: 1.Kenji is fast, strong, and has good reflexes, all due to cyborg technology.
2. Kenji can manipulate light in many ways(see magic/skills).
3. Kenji has learned many forms of fighting, making him unpredictable sometimes.
4. Kenji has boosters under his feet, allowing him to fly.
5. Kenji has sound, heat, and night vision visors, allowing him to see his opponents in any enviorment.
6. Kenji is very athletic, and has the ability to even roll into a ball!
7. Kenji has the ability to pilot his ship even when not in it, making it useful for escapes.
8. When his flying ability is gone, Kenji's shoes have the ability to make him stick to solid surfaces.
Weakness: 1. Kenji doesn't have external armor, making him vunerable to damage.
2. Water can short circuit Kenji, and can stop him from using his weapons, light manipulation, visors, and boosters.
3. Mangetics can push and pull Kenji because of his metal infrastructure.
4. Lightning or thunder can make Kenji's circuits overpower, which stops him from using his weapons, light manipulation, visors, and boosters.
5. His energy source is not unlimited, so his light attacks will become weaker later on in a fight, and he won't be able to fly.
6. Kenji relies on his ship for his basic needs(food, sleep, power), so if seperated from it, it can be dangerous for him.
7. If his ship is a long distance away from him, he has no piloting control over it.
8. When Kenji is angry, he loses concentration, which bad for him in battle.
9. If Kenji uses his weaponry too much too often, his systems could overheat, and not allow him to use it anymore.
Magic/Skills: Kenji can maipulate light in many ways:
Light Arsenal- Kenji can turn his hand into swords, whips, axes, any weapon out of light because of his cyborg technology. The weapons are indestructable, and can cut through almost any materials.
Light Bending- Kenji can bend light around himself to create barriers which can only be broken by water, incredible strength, or magnetics. He can also change his appearance and turn invisible by bending the light around himself!
Light Weaponry- Kenji can turn his hand into an energy cannon, and fire beams, waves, or blasts of energy at his opponents.

Appearance: Kenji appears to look like a normal Hylian, but he is actually a cyborg! He has blonde spiky hair, and blue eyes. he has light skin, and wears a trench coat. He has black-leather pants, and unique shoes that have a hole for his boosters. Under his trench coat he wears a tight, red shirt. He is pretty attractive, but has no intentions for romance.

Personality: Kenji is cold-hearted, brutal, and has fear of nothing, not even death. His true desire is to complete the mission given to him, and will stop at nothing to get it done. Killing is not a casual option for him, but if forced to do so, he will do it without the faintest bit of remose. Kenji doesn't care about romance, and believes that sadness is for the weak. He doesn't get angry easily, but if insulted, he will burst into a rage of fury.

Bio: In the future, Hyrule was a dangerous place. A cyborg named Hirada was created, and was taken by the military for close examination. They equipped her with high-technology and made her work for them. Hirada refused to comply, and destroyed the lab, and was never seen since. She was the first cyborg in Hyrule, and the government was struck with a great blow. The government decided to create a cyborg of their own, so they took DNA of a descendant of a legendary hylian warrior name Kodure. For 20 years, they used this DNA, and the highest technology known to their day, and created a new cyborg name Kenji. They trained Kenji in every form of fighting known, and equipped him with higher technology than Hirada. They gave him a ship, and sent him into space to search for Hirada. Kenji traveled a greate distance in the galaxy, but was pulled into a black hole. Kenji activated his emergancy boostres, and managed to break through time/spcae by using the wormhole properties of the black hole. he was then transported to ancient Hyrule, were people were low in technology, and relied on heroes to protect them. Kenji's sensors detected Hirada's prescence, and he was amazed on how she got in this time period as well. Kenji went closer to her position, when he came upon the legendary Lost Woods...

Re: Character List

Name: Kevin

Age: 728 years old, still making him a strapping young man, looking about a mere 22-25 years of age.

Race: Part angel, and part vampire. He's more vampire than angel. He's very contradictory toward himself in this sense too.

Sex: Male

Hair: Curly bone-white hair. It's long for being a male, and he lets it droop down as it pleases.

Eyes: Almond shaped, and the color of plums.

Weight: 160 pounds

Height:
6 feet 3 inches

Weapon:
Due to being part vampire, he a lot of brute strength. Though, he uses a crossbow pistol strapped to his back with a long leather belt, over pretty much any fist fight he'll get into. It's nothing too fancy, but it serves its purpose.

Armor:
Since, he's a vampire, he doesn't really feel that armor is needed, despite his fear of most everything. However, he does wear leather gauntlets on his hands.

Strengths:
He is NOT afraid of one thing, and that is birds, especially flightless ones, such as the penguin and the ostrich. He considers this a talent, considering everything else scares him so much.

A major strength of his would be the obvious trait of being part vampire. It gives him a much longer life span than any normal person and his senses are enhanced as well. He's strong, physically and mentally. Even though he usually acts like a scaredy cat, he still has a sensible mind on his shoulders.

He also has the abilities of an angel, which allows him to fly and heal. Though, it isn't very powerful, he does have that to his discretion.

He has exemplary aim, for he's wielded his pistol for many decades and has trained himself to use it properly.

Due to being a vampire, he's often feared, giving him an advantage. Also, due to being a chicken, he's often underestimated, giving him a window of opportunity to the unsuspecting opponents who let their guard down.

Weakness: His one major flaw is the fact that he's afraid of virtually everything. From the smallest creatures to the most gargantuan beasts, he'll be afraid of it. He goes so far as to be afraid of himself. And, it's not just a minor fear. He's been known to pass out and scream very loudly at most things.

Because he is a vampire, he makes many unneeded enemies. He's not really a mean guy, he just can't stand to be around things for an unnatural and uncontrollable fear of them. Since he's a vampire, and since he's scared, it's also hard for him to make any kind of allies or friends.

He also has a weakness for blood. He's a vampire in most senses, and this is no exception. He does have large canines, made for sucking the blood of his victims, but the thing is, he's hemophobic. That means, he's also afraid to eat. Because of this, he rarely eats and is rarely at the top of his game. It weakens his body, but he's so afraid of blood, he's almost grown used to it. Still, he's nearly starved to death several times.

He also has the usual vampire traits, though, not at the same caliber, due to the angel that balances it a bit out. He can stand light, but only to a certain degree.

Kevin lacks the ability to use any weapon other than his crossbow pistol. Whenever he is without it, he resorts to fighting with fists, and, usually, he's very fearful to even touch whatever he is fighting. So, without his weapon, Kevin is, basically, a flailing pansy.

When he is not judged as a vampire, he's judged as an angel, but Kevin only has a few angelic traits. He finds that he disappoints people in this sense, and he's also fearful of that.

He can fly, but he's afraid of heights, so he keeps that at minimal use, if he can.

Skills/Magic:
Well, being both angel and vampire, he has mixed abilities, so much so, he's often doubted. They shall be separated by angel and vampire.

Angelic:

The ability to fly is a major one of his angel abilities. Though, most people rarely see them, Kevin does indeed have wings. They're a rich burgundy color, instead of the usual and holy white, obviously from his vampiric side. With them, he can soar through the sky.

Another ability would be the ability to heal. With a simple thought, he can heal himself. Though, because he's more vampire than angel, it's not a very powerful healing. Sometimes, depending on the magnitude of the injury, it only heals the surface. It's never a fool proof thing. Oddly, it's more accurate when not being used on himself.

Vampiric:

He has the ability to turn into a bat, but it's only for a short period of time.

Kevin does have regenerative abilities, but they work very slowly. Often times, he has to choose because his angelic way to heal, or his vampiric way to heal. He doesn't really have a favorite of the two.

Appearance:

Normally:

Kevin is what one might refer to as “tall, dark, and handsome”. He has two auras about him, a dark one and a light one, still, he's seen as “dark”. He has a lanky build. He's a bit on the skinny side, but otherwise, he still has muscles.

He has thick, curly white hair, about shoulder length. It drapes down as it wishes and the curls are thick and springy. When he zones out, he plays with them.

He has almond shaped eyes, a deep purple color. They have a very docile feel to them, as though kindness emanates from them. He has a thin face, and a very prominent jaw line. Kevin has abnormally white teeth, that are also abnormally straight. He has a long nose, but by no means is it off putting. It gives him a very fancy look.

His neck is thin, nothing too muscular. He has broad, yet thin shoulders, leading down to very proportional arms. His hands are very large, but thin as well.

His body, in general, has a very fragile feel about it. Being tall and lanky overall doesn't help. His not eating only emphasizes this weak look.

He has long legs, somewhat improving his speed. And, due to his height, he also has long feet.

As far as his clothing goes, he wears a very long cloak, reaching down to his feet. It's a crimson color. On top of the cloak, he has two belts that strap across his chest, both black with silver buckles. One of which holds his crossbow gun. The other is just there to balance it out. Underneath the cloak, he wears a tight, sleeveless, black shirt, made of a soft, yet sturdy material. He has a silver belt tied around his waist, holding up a pair of tight black denim jeans.

While his clothes imply a somewhat bad boy persona, he's far from it...

While as a bat:

When he turns himself into a bat, he looks exactly as a bat does, except, instead of black, he has a red tone to him.

When he's using his wings:

He has two wings that burst out from under his cloak. They're large and crimson colored, despite them coming from his being an angel. They aren't the usual white because of his vampiric side.

Personality: First and foremost, Kevin is a fearful person. He's afraid of pretty much everything, with a few exceptions. Those exceptions being birds, preferably flightless birds, for he is afraid of heights, ironically.

His fear ostracizes him from everyone else. From people of his own races, and people he newly meets.

Yet, he's feared and hated by so many people that it saddens him. Especially since he's actually a really nice person, once you get past the fact he probably has an irrational fear of you. To those people that have actually gotten to know him, they realize that he's truly a sweetheart, and one of the kindest people you could ever meet.

He dislikes fighting for fear of hurting his opponent, but still does for fear of getting hurt by his opponent. Sometimes his fear does control him, yet, that doesn't change the fact he's a very intelligent person. He always tries to think with his heart and not with his fear.

Kevin doesn't consider himself to be brave, but he does feel that he could easily stop being so willing to face his fears. But, he won't allow himself to. One of his goals is to stop being so fearful, yet, with everything and everyone he meets, he feels as though this is unattainable.

When in the thick of battle, he'll talk, but usually it comes out stuttering, always afraid of the response he will get. Afraid of it being good... afraid of it being bad. No matter who it is, he's tentative of what will happen.

As he meets every new person, he sees two things: A chance to train himself for the better and just another person to fear. These mixed emotions always make him feel uncomfortable around them.

He's not really attached to anything at all, but he's still nice to everything in an attempt to convince himself that they aren't scary.

He rarely drinks blood, making him grow weak. He always makes futile attempts to hide this fact, but never really pulls it off.

Biography: Kevin has lived many years, far too many for most anyone to sit through. So, to brief most of it...

When Kevin was a child, he grew irrationally fearful of everything over the course of a few years. He never knew how this came to be exactly, but he believes it came from his mother, who separated from his father around that time.

He wasn't very close to his mother, who was an angel. She would rarely come to see him, let alone talk to him. Always claiming to be “preoccupied” with “higher orders”, Kevin merely shrugged everything she said off, for the most part... until the last straw...

~ ~ ~

“M... mother?” came a weak voice, from a young male child.

A groan sounded and a scolding tone replied, “What NOW? Can't you see that mommy is busy!”

The boy shuffled his feet nervously, staring at a closed door which he spoke to, “Erm... well, no, you won't let me enter...”

“Bah, trivialities, go run off and play your little games, you'll probably end up here anyway,” the mother snickered, “though, with what you do, you'll go down there.”

His voice squeaked, “Down where?”

Hell,” came the disdain, thick in her tone. “Where all those sinful people go... where your nightmares will come to life. Pleasant, no?”

“Erm...” he said, back, tears being to well in his eyes.

She snorted, “Not good enough for you?”

He began to wail, not understanding how an angel of heaven could treat him this way. He wailed, “Why?!”

“Vampires are sinful creatures, I have no idea how your father ever got me to fall in love with him and betray my heritage as a messenger of God, but none the less, you're just a reminder of that manipulative... bastard.”

“DON'T TALK ABOUT HIM LIKE THAT!” he screamed, taking all he could from his mother. He began into a sprint, getting away from the building of his mother's “work”, getting away from the mother who convinced him of his own weakness.

~ ~ ~

He was very, very close to his father, who was, at the time, the only thing he wasn't afraid of.

His father was nurturing, and kind, always protecting Kevin from anything that might scare him. Kevin loved him dearly, and when he passed away, became extremely afraid of a single thing... death.

~ ~ ~

A cough could be heard, echoing in the young boy's mind. “No, no more, daddy.”

“I... I'm sorry about what your mother said. It's not true. I swear I would never do such a thing...” replied his father, who had suffered a stab in the heart from a raged vampire hater. He'd been rushed to safety before he could die there, on the street.

He shock his head, vigorously, “I know, I know... just, focus on getting better, please. I don't want any more of this.”

“I... I don't... t... think, I can do that,” he paused, catching what little breath he had, “My time... is limited.”

“No, don't say that... but, mommy...”

The man grimaced, “You won't need to stay with her... stay here. P... please. I don't want your happiness sacrificed by my death...”

With a tear streaming down his cheek, the young child began to bawl, “How can you be so selfless... when you're about to pass away?”

“Kevin... this is a kind of courage that you get with time...”

“Courage? What courage do I have... I can't even stand to see you like this, because I'm so afraid of pain,” Kevin sobbed out, “I want to be so much more like you...”

A trembling hand reached out, and the dying man consoled his child in the last selfless act of his life, “You will... with time. You have all the time in the world, son... just, try... you don't need to be afraid of everything... get that courage, I know you possess it...”

“But-” he stopped, noticing his father's eyes had shut, indefinitely.

~ ~ ~

He had a problem with himself, which is what truly started his journey. He wanted to change how he saw the world. Kevin decided that perhaps a weapon would help, in some way shape and form. And that it would somehow bring him strength...

~ ~ ~

“So, what'll it be?” asked an impatient shop keeper.

A man replied, nervously, “I don't know, I'm still looking, sorry.”

“Eh, just hurry up, I don't have all day,” he replied, gruffly, “Do you even have anything in mind?”

“Something... lightweight? Perhaps, long range?” he asked, motioning toward the bows, and guns, scared stiff at their very sight.

The weapons shop owner nodded, “I see, I see... I think I know what you might be interested in.”

He walked out from behind a beaten counter and in front of the dark man, asking for him to follow him. The shop keeper led him into another room, stopping in front of a wall.

“Here we are...” with a press of a button, the wall parted, revealing several other weapons. “Any of these suit your fancy?”

The man's eyes grew wide, fearful of these menacing contraptions, “Erm... t... they look sharp... what are they?”

“That's the point... and, they're crossbows,” he said, proudly, “this is probably the only shop within miles that still carries them.”

“They're rather... big...”

“Psh, well, we have one more... though, I thought it would be a bit out of your criteria,” he pressed another button, opening another shelf. “It's a mix between a gun and a crossbow. It's smaller, more travel worthy if that's what you intend to use it for.”

Instantly, the man knew that it was exactly what he needed, “That's it!”

“Alright, good,” he got a few forms out of his coat pocket, “Who'll this be made to?”

“My name is Kevin...”

The shop keep scribbled, “What's the purpose?”

“Self protection and self improvement.”

~ ~ ~

Kevin met a person, a friend who would help him. He was afraid of said person, but he still considered this person to be a friend unlike any other. This man took away a fear of his. This person was a fellow vampire by the name of Emmanuel.

~ ~ ~

Legs swung back and forth as a man looked over the gorge into the nothingness beyond.

“E... excuse me, sir, don't you think you should back away from the ledge? You might fall...” said Kevin, scared for this man's safety.

“I'm a vampire, kid. If I fall, I just turn into a bat and fly away,” he said, waving a hand, nonchalantly. “If you want to assault me now, go ahead, do your worst.”

His eyes widened, “Oh, no. I would never assault a vampire. I'm partially vampire... and, honestly, I'd be too afraid of you to do so.”

The other man turned around, “A vampire? Afraid of a vampire? I think I've heard everything.”

“I'm... sure you have,” Kevin said, politely, just wanting to please the man and get away before any more fear would be stricken into his heart.

“Hey, hey, no need to leave, yet,” the vampire stood up walking toward the, now departing, Kevin, “I'm far too bored and you've peaked my interest. My name's Emmanuel.”

Kevin's first thought was the fear that this man would follow him, but he decided to just be kind and stay, “Um... hello, Emmanuel. I'm Kevin.”

“Heh... pretty standard name you got there,” Emmanuel said, chuckling. “No problem with that... so, Kevin, what else are you afraid of?”

He unsure about how to answer this, but tried his best, “Er... everything.”

The vampire stood there, expecting for Kevin to say something along the lines of 'Fooled you!' or 'Hah! You fell for it!', but no such response came. His jaw dropped, “... Seriously?”

“Ye... yes.”

“... Even birds!?” He inquired, almost hysterically, now.

His eyes grew frantic, “Especially birds! I mean... how they fly around and stuff...”

“Are you afraid of the flightless ones?” he said, dumbfounded, no matter what the answer was to be.

“Yeah...”

The vampire groaned, “Okay, that's it! I'm going to take you under my proverbial wing and teach you not to be afraid!”

“What!?” Kevin exclaimed as he was taken by the wrist and dragged off by this stranger. He began to scream, being afraid of strangers, and being dragged off.

And with the events of that day, he would be relieved of one fear... however much insignificant. The birds would no longer be a fear of his.

~ ~ ~

He left to see the world. To see the people and things he was scared of most. To help himself.

~ ~ ~

“So, you're leaving?” came the vampire's voice, the question lingering in the air for a few seconds in the large and cluttered house that once belonged to Kevin's father.

His head hung low, nodding, “I've come to the conclusion that I have to. You know, to face my fears.”

“You mean everything?” Emmanuel's reply came, half jokingly.

Kevin's hands trembled as he reached for his crossbow pistol, attaching it to his back with belts. “Erm... y... yeah.”

His friend walked over to him, slapping him on the back, making Kevin flinch. “You know, I support your decision. It would be great for you to return and finally not be afraid of me!”

Emmanuel chuckled, and the half vampire joined along, nervously. He forced himself to smile and said, “Yeah... I... I would like that very much.”

“Good, good... now, get out of here. We all know that you have bigger and better things waiting for you outside of this town,” he replied, grinning widely. “Somehow, I know you'll succeed.”

“T... thanks. You have no idea how much that means to me...” Kevin gave his friend one last smile, waving. With that final motion toward Emmanuel, the man walked out the door of his house, leaving all that was there behind, except those fears that dwell within his mind at every moment of every day...

~ ~ ~

And that is his life, summarized up to this point. A life that has molded a man, making him unlike any other vampire, or angel for that matter.

Re: Character List

Name: Kenjii Miamoro

Age: N/A

Race: Half human/demon

Sex: Male

Hair: Bald

Eyes: Hellish red

Weight: 225 pounds

Height: 6’7

Weapon: Steel sword, with dried blood on the tip from his enemies. A bow for long distance combat. Can use bare fists.

Armor: Bronze chest plate and bronze gauntlets

Strengths: Kenjii Miamoro is very fast, even with all the armor on. Knows the art of Ninjitsu and is an excellent marksman. Has a very powerful “Burnout” attack (Check skills/magic for more info). Has great agility and raw power. Kenjii Miamoro also excels in defending with the sword. High focus and concentration.

Weakness: His eyes are highly sensitive to light and any bright objects. Light blinds him and can leave him immobile. Burnout (Check skills/magic for more info). Fire magic.

Skills/Magic: Kenjii Miamoro has only one skill.

Skill: Burnout
Burnout is a destructive attack. Almost nothing lives after being hit by it. Kenjii Miamoro engulfs himself into a giant ball of fire that can travel insane speeds. Kenjii Miamoro is immune to every attack in this mode. But, it has problems off course. Kenjii Miamoro needs a lot of time to concentrate on the attack, around two minutes. If Kenjii Miamoro uses Burnout for too long, the flames could kill him. The attack can only be used once per battle. This is a highly destructive attack.

Kenjii Miamoro has also been trained in the arts of black magic along with the arts of Ninjitsu magic.

Black magic one: Fire
All ninjas have been trained in the basic magic of fire. Kenjii Miamoro creates a small ball of fire, around the size of a fist. The magic packs a punch. It takes Kenjii around ten seconds to charge up the spell.

Black magic two: Lightning
Lightning is the second of Kenjii’s black magic. The attack sends out a stream of lightning from Kenjii’s fingertips. The magic takes no time to charge, but Kenjii must wait fifteen seconds to use it again. Lightning only sends a flash; it can not keep a constant stream.

Ninjitsu magic one: Split
This allows Kenjii to make five exact fake images of himself. This confuses the opponent, allowing Kenjii to make a quick strike. As soon as Kenjii strikes or makes an attempt to strike, the images disappear. Split drains fatigue and stamina from Kenjii upon use. It can be used instantly.

Ninjitsu magic two: Invisibility
Invisibility turns Kenjii invisible. Not only can he be not seen, but he can not be wounded; but he can’t wound anyone either. The magic lasts twenty seconds, but can be used instantly. Can be used infinitely. The only other problem is that it takes a lot of Kenjii’s concentration.

Appearance: Unlike a traditional ninja, Kenjii does not where the black ninja outfit. Instead, he wears a dark blue or red. He wears sandals carved of wood for more mobility. His sword hangs from his right side, while he carries his wooden bow and quiver with one arrow on his back (Check biography for more info on this). His skin is very pale. He is a huge walking death machine, with eyes red as blood. Not much else… he's a ninja, what do you expect?

Personality: Not much is known about Kenjii’s personality. He is a blood thirsty demon that only lives to kill. He is cold hearted and does not care about others. He is a loner, he has no love. He will go to great extents to satisfy his needs. In battle, he focuses on tactics and raw power to overcome his enemies. As stated, not much is known about his personality.

Biography: Kenjii Miamoro has no family. He is a warrior created from hell; a son of Satan would be a good way to put it. He was trained in an unknown universe by the Kuraoto clan. Re: Character List

***Approved by Ranarath-Sempai***

Name: Kazaisu (Ka-say-su) Usually called Kaze (Kay-ze)

Age: 17

Race: Human

Magical Discipline: Archmage-Disciple (Disciple=Magic granted due to family genes)

Magical Affinity numbers: Light-50, Darkness- 50, Fire-3, Water-97, Earth-25, Wind-115. (Strangely enough, more on that later)

Sex: Male.

Hair: Long, wavy dirty blond hair, turns to a dark brown when wet.

Eyes: grayish silver.

Weight: 139 lbs

Height: 5’7

Weapon: No weapon, except his own words.
Armor: No Armor, except own words.

Strengths: He is an abnormally powerful Archmage (Mage that focuses on affinity magic without Dabbling in other types of magic), Who specializes in wind magic (He has a higher affinity in it then should be possible) Can also do most magical spells, instantly without words, or hand seals (Although he does sometimes, for fun). He is very smart, with an abnormally high IQ, he also seems to be able to create new spells quickly, sometimes in the heat of a battle.

Weakness: He is also fairly new to the world of magic, which can result in what would be called rookie mistakes, and of course since he is so young, he can become overconfident due to his strong magic. He Also hates fire magic of all kind, and will never use it, activly mocking people who do which leads him to greatly underestimate its power.

Skills/Magic: *Gulp* Well here it goes. In the magic world, there are many different types of magic casters, and magic users, one of the most popular, and wide spread is affinity magic. Basically, and I do mean Basic, first you have to set of the basic six magic’s affinity’s on a hexagon, At the top corner is light, then clock wise it is, fire, wind, darkness, water, and earth, as you may or may not have guessed by the magical affinities stated above, opposite sides of the hexagon should equal 100 (only known exception is Kaze where the opposite seems to equal 140), the number represent how much control you have over said element, (EX: you can perform a fire spell with only one point, but it would be little more then a spark, while a fire spell for someone who has say an 100 in this affinity would be more like an explosion taking out a large city, if they used a lot of their power).

Using these magic affinities they are able to create spells, which usually require verbal recognition (Incantation of sort), or physical recognition (Hand seal, dance, ect). Also depending on the person’s innate abilities, and training they have different amounts of energy to use magical abilities with.

Ok now onto types of abilites, there are three basic types, which split into six sup types, Defense, Attack, And Support, now I shouldn’t have to say this but I will anyways, Defense, are usually magical barriers, and sometimes reflection attacks, Attack abilities, are well guess, Support, can either be healing, or magic’s used to enhance other peoples magical abilities. Defense, are split into direct, and sub spells, Direct are cast in the heat of the battle, while Sub Spells, are always active, and block more of the blows of direct attacks, in case someone tries a sneak attack. Attack are split into Direct(Guess), and hidden, hidden work the same as Sub Spells,(Which stands for subliminal spells) as they activate when someone tries to attack except, hidden attacks counter attack a physical attack with a magical attack I guess it is sorta like a attack, and a defense spell in one. Support are split into healing (You figure it out) And helping, which can be anything from creating physical weapons, to teleportation.

Ok one last thing in order for a potential mage, or likewise to use his powers, first he has to learn his/her Prima Incantatio, which is a piece of poetry, that unlocks their hidden powers, the first time in a very chaotic manner, it is the key to unlock power, and has to be said for them to use all direct magic, and can be held for any amount of time, but it slowly drains energy. Also when activated unless concealed, any other magic user would be able to sense the power.
Ok that is the very basic of the affinity magic, now on to his actual powers, I must warn he is slightly powerful.*gulp…again*(Note: inchantation=(I) hand seal=(H) None=(N), or any combination of the two, ex (I/N) Means he can enchant the name, or not, depends on his mood.)

Prima Incantatio- “Cold rain pierces the soul, while chilling wild ravages the mind”

Wind Magic:

Attack- Hidden- Gale force(H)- When attacked physically a small gale will thrown the attack back several feet.(Note: Always active, can only be used up two, ten times in a five hour period)

Attack-Direct- Ventus vesica(I/N)- depending on his will he creates any where from one two ten blades made up of wind, and then at will the charge slashing however gets in the vicious winds way.
(Incantation:The art of pure Wind, Wind-Ventus vesica)

Attack-Direct-Hurricane spit(H/N)- uses his wind powers to throw objects at opponent.

Defense-Direct- procella contego(H)- Uses winds to block projectiles, and some magical attacks.

Support-Helping-flight(N)-…take a wild guess.

Support-Helping- turbo permoveo(I)- A whirl wind sucks him up them moves to another point in the battle arena instantly(A teleportation spell if you will). [WARNING-Takes a lot of energy to use]

Support-Helping-Demented Wind Puppet(I)- A powerful advanced wind spell. After one, to all, of the users limbs become incpacitated, he is able to use this spell to creat stings of wind to control his body much like a puppet, in this way he can push his body past its usual limits giving them up to ten times there usual strength. [WARNING-If this spell is on, he can no longer use any wind magic till it gets dispelled]

Darkness:

Defense-Sub spell-Darkness Magi(H)- Uses a thin shadow shield(You can see it) to block the full impact of spells, can be broken with enough power.

Light:

Support-Healing-Light support- A magic spell that works similar to a sub spell, or hidden spell, it is always active, unless is dispelled, and slowly heals any wound he recives.

Support-Healing-Nameless(Thats not its name it just doesnt have one)- its a basic healing speel for medium sized injuries on himself, and can be used on others.

Fire:

He hates fire magic.

Earth:

Attack-Direct-Tremor(N)- Basically shakes the earth a little bit to distract opponent.

Support-Helping-Wall of Strength(I)-Slams his hands on the ground, and causes a wall of earth to emerge from the ground. Good for blocking passageways, or for comical effect.

Water:

Defense-Direct-Ice Shield(H/N)- basically, creates a wall of ice to block attacks.

Attack-(#) Arrows of ice(I/N)- Creates a varying number of ice arrows to send towards his opponent.

Attack-Direct-Spherical Death(H)- Creates a small sphere of water he uses to drown an opponent..

Support-Helping-water rider(H)- Basically he creates waves of water he can ride on to move faster(Is faster then flight)

Attack/Support-Direct/helping- Frozen touch(I)- Basicaly he brings hydrogen, and oxgen partiacls in the air closer together making a mist whish he surronds around his hands creating frozen mist, using this he can create ice sculptrues if you will on anything he touches, for example he could create a ice blade on his hand for meele attacks, or he could touch the ground and freeze the ground all the way to his oppents feet, and freeze then to the ground. It is a very versitile attack, but requires what ever being frozen to either be touched, or connected to the ice in some way, so he couldn't create say a beam of ice. Also the faster he creats ice the more energy it takes, for example he could create a ten foot spike of ice in ten seconds, but it would waste alot of energy, but if it takes say five minutes it would take almost no energy. Man that's complicated.

(Ahem now we get into sub categories, and combine categories, basically all the elements not mentioned here, such as Shadow, or lightning are sub categories, or combine categories of the six main elements, got that good, here we go)

Twilight(Dark-light):

Support-Helping-True Sight(I)- While it requires a incantation, it can stay active for weeks, without any affect on the user, it is used to see other peoples magical abilities which look like a swirling vortex around them, it can be lowered to almost a deactivated level, or risen to see the true scope of the person’s power.

Support-Helping-Dispel(H)- He uses this to dispel many different attack but depending on the attack the more energy it takes to use.
Support-Helping(none battle)-Instant Learn(N)-Can learn the contents of a book, by the mere touch.

Lightning(Sub category of wind):

Attack-Direct-Bolt(N)- Strikes whomever or whatever with a small bolt of lightning from the sky, not very powerful, but can be used effectively, as a distraction.

Storm(Wind-Water):

[WARNING- the following spells are EXTREMLY powerful, and are not to be used without my permission, and I will not use either of these without permission from the person I am doing it to, I admit they are sorta godmodded)

Attack-Direct- poena tempestas(H+I)- This attack needs both a long hand seal, and the incantation, it creates a literal hurricane right around them, with wind throwing everything not latched down around, and with lightning bolts striking every minute, and heavy, heavy rain, it is dangerous, and takes a amazing amount of power to use, it is way to strong to be used unless totally necessary.

Attack-Direct- Perficio Turbo(H+I)- *gulp* This is his most powerful attack, after this is used he is pretty much done if the person receiving this survives, it is an actual tornado a giant spiral of wind nothing can escape, its grasp. But the true terror lies within as hundreds of Ventus vesica(see above) are swirling around destroying anything that enters the center of this terrible attack, he has only used this once, killing the receiver, and almost himself, he vowed never to use this awful attack again unless he was literally about to die.

Appearance: His hair is a dirty blond, which turns dark brown when wet (Which is often because it rains often when he around). Wears a blue tunic, with gray trimming, with a pair of simple baggy black slacks, and simple black leather books on his feet.. Around his neck he dons, a fancy cape(He says it makes him look cool), it is black on the outside, on the inside, it is a marvelous royal blue, with black borders, which makes the blue stand out that much more. On his side he carries a small bag of money, and a couple books he reads on his spare time, mostly about magic(Yes he could learn the contents in seconds, but he enjoys actually reading as well). Also he wears a pair of simple black gloves, and a silver bracelet he was given as a child. He has a fairly small figure, not being that tall, or big, while he is fairly well built, he still looks like a menace once he gets that glint in his eye when he sees a good opponent.

Teh Awsome Picture done by Hito, THANK YOU!.

Personality: A strong man with a rebellious side. He dislikes being told what to do, and often lives by his own set of rules. He's kind, and funny with a slightly odd sense of humor. He has a large ego, and loves to have it stroked, though often he'll talk about something he knows nothing about in a way that makes himself sound like an expert, but really just gets him in more trouble. Though he is usually carefree, and laid back, given proper insentive he can become passionate, and un deniable, stopping at nothing to do whats right

In battle he has his own unique fighting style which mixes Melee attacks powered by wind with long ranged magical attacks. he tries to use as little energy in battle as possible, often aiming for weakness in the human body (like the archilles heal) to maximise the effects while minimizing the attack, He's not fond of large area attack, but will use them if completely neccasary. He will take lives if he has to, but usually tries to find a way not to. He will never kill someone he deems innocent.

Despite what happened in Kaze's life he usually is bright about the future, but the events of his past did have an effect. He no longer believes in any sort of God Like figure, and given proper insentive can act down right emo at times. His Anti-religious ways, desipte causing problems, allows him to fully undertsand the extent of his abilites, beleiving himself as a catalyst, and everything he does as a chemical reaction.

Biography:His child hood was normal, only child, loving parents, you get it, so let me start off this story when he was fourteen. It was a sunny day in the town, or it was, as when he was hanging out in his girlfriends house, it suddenly started to pour, at around the same time he and his girlfriend Melissa, were having the biggest fight of their “relationship”, which ended with Kaze storming out in a huff, he was angrier then he ever remember being, that’s when “it” happened.

The forest was dark and stormy, he could feel his hair, and body getting wetter, and wetter as he walked, no power walked through it, his mind was nothing but a endless stream of anger, and angst, he sat down eventually, realizing, that she would probably break up with him because of this. He still though angry knew that Melissa was the best thing that happened to him, he couldn’t live without her, the thought made him want t cry, and cry he did. Burrowing his head in his knees as the rain mocked him he cried for what seemed like ever, slowly he lifted his head muttering works almost inaudible.

“Cold rain pierces the soul, while chilling wind ravages the mind,” It was as if those words made the storm grow worse, the wind blew hard enough that some trees, actually fell over, the rain poured down like an endless torrent flooding all rivers in miles, he ran, ran home, hiding in his room, wondering what happened, he felt a strong power when he muttered those words, he wouldn’t mutter them again for a year.

Life for the next year went on without incident, he and Melissa made up, and life well continued, he didn’t speak, of what happened nor did he want to, but every once in a while he was haunted by strange dreams…no nightmares. It involved an endless rain, and strong winds, and in the middle of a field, she was there, her eyes where torn out, her face was torn, and mutilated, there where signs of forced sexual intercourse, but she was alive, she was saying something.

“Its…its…its…not you fault,” Of course after those words she fell over dead.

“Melissa,” His mouth said, wait for it, wait for, I know you want it, ok go, “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

These dreams happened oh lets say once a week, not a very comforting thought. Anyways one year from the day he first said his Prima Incantatio he, and yes Melissa where discussing what happened a year before, when Kaze’s will finally broke, he told her of what happened, the power he felt, how the storm grew to a hurricane at his words, she of course innocently asked what he said, now Kaze figured he word have forgotten, but as soon as he opened his mouth.

“Cold rain pierces the soul, while chilling wind ravages the mind,” As if on cue the sky turned dark, and a cold wind blew through the house, causing them to shiver, out side the pattering of rain drops could be heard, yeah defiantly weird.

*Several miles away*

“What the hell is that?” He felt it, a man saw the rain forming seemingly out of random, he could feel the power, it was beyond any Prima Incantatio he has ever felt before, “Could it be,” A sick smile grew over the fire Archmage’s face, “It’s him, the council will be happy,” Spinning his hand around each other in a circle he felt his body turn into flames, then disappear into thin air.
As Kaze Was walking, almost leisurely through the rain he loved, when suddenly he felt his world go black, his mind fog as he was knocked unconscious. As he awoke his eyes stilled closed he heard people talking, being fifteen, he figured it would be best to eavesdrop.

“So are you sure its him,”

‘Its has to be, his Prima Incantatio was far greater then any I ever heard, and you saw his magic affinity numbers, he has 115 in wind, that doesn’t even make any sense, also the opposite side actually has a number, it doesn’t make any sense,”

“He’s right I have never seen such a thing,”

“But he is a child, he needs training,”

“Then let me train him,”

“You, I found him,”

“As much I hate to agree with him, but he is the most talented Archmage of wind known,”

“But…but, I deserve some…”

“Silence, I have decided to let him do it,”

“Fine…”

“Huh…are you guys talking about me,”

“Well looks like he’s awake,” And Kaze was trained rather reluctantly, for about three months, after that he had learned an endless wealth of information, along with many, many spells,(Since I explained a lot of it above, I feel like skipping over the explanations, live with it). Anyways, he eventually escaped the mansion complex he was trapped in, through a magic ward, over some mountains, to his hometown, using a spell he was taught, called turbo permoveo.

He got home to find something rather disturbing, according to town members, his girlfriend was “Found outside of town, horribly mutilated, with signs of forced insertion,” Of course this new wasn’t very helpful to Kaze mind set, he went out on a journey to find who ever did this, and he had an idea where to start, he felt, deep in his heart it was him, the person who found him, the fire Archmage, Sephier.

It took two months to track him down, which was much quicker tehn he thought it would be, of course it ended in a spell duel to the death. After setting op the Magic Ward(A barrier that conceals what’s inside, and stops magic from getting out of the wards area) the battle began.

“You know you can’t win,” Sephier mocked,

“I don’t plan on winning, if I can cripple you then my life would have meaning,”

“Strong words, Fire ignito,” He Chanted causing five fire balls to be shot out of a red orb that magically appeared over his head. But before the spherical flames could hit him, a wall of ice flashed attempting to stop the attack, bad move, the fire burst through the ice, hitting him on the chest burning the shirt he was wearing, not completely but making five oddly shaped holes.

“****,” he said dropping to one knee, clutching his chest.

“Oh this will be a blast,” he joked, his hands twisting in an ancient hand seal. Suddenly, a beam of fire, hotter then any Kazaisu had felt before blasted out of his hands, incinerating anything in its way, it would have hit Kaze if he didn’t leap out of the way right away, he was losing, badly.

“Five arrows of ice,” he chanted throwing them at high speeds at his opponent, who simply raised a fire shield melting them before they could get close This is no good, my ice attacks won’t work, I need to try something else, before he could finish his thought, he saw his opponents hand moving again, in a similar pattern to that before, Heh, a fire beam, this give me an idea,

“Ventus vesica,” he smiled, the fire beam roared, but the wind blade cut it in half, one half flew to either side of the wind mage, and the attack hit successfully, doing little damage, but proving that he was a challenge, which got Sephier thinking Well, he hit me, time for mental war play, A sick, and sadistic smile crossed his face.

“You know, she wasn’t what I expected,”

“What,”

“I don’t know from one of such natural beauty I was hoping for more”

“Y…you, YOU DID YOU BASTARD!”

“What did you never, it is a shame, you don’t know what your…” He never had a chance to finish his sentence, because as he spoke his sadistic words he failed to notice the “child” was muttering something under his breath threw his tears.

“Cold rain pierces the should, while chilling wind ravages the mind… Perficio Turbo” Suddenly the fire mage was sucked into a giant tornado, blood rained from the sky, a hell breaking scream rung out, then nothing, the ward shattered as the last breath of Sephier was taken, prompting Kaze to fall unconscious, he had his revenge, she could rest in piece now.

When he awoke he found himself in a jail cell...easily he broke out, and was confronted by one of them men he met when he was captured. given kaze's outshowing of power he was accepted into the grand mages council, though he usually doesn't show up for their meetings he is still under orders from them. Of course he only accepts missions that interest him, and if he had would betray the council...

Re: Character List

Sara Wildfire
Name: Sara Wildfire, Sara is most of the time called Wildfire Sara because of how she acts towards men she doesn’t know or like. She doesn’t even call herself Sara Wildfire, because she believes that putting her female name first is putting down her manly reputation that she known for. So, her herself normally when a guy is around will call herself Wildfire Sara. If there is no guy around or is feeling nice she call herself Sara and forget about the rest.

Age: 20

Race: Human

Hair: Long, silk, light brown hair that reaches pass half way down her back. Her hair is straight and soft as it hangs loose across her back to sway across it. Only one pink bow is in her hair and that’s right at the neck. The bow is made with a ribbon and is hand put on. The bow isn’t on tight but just enough to stay in her hair.

Eyes: Her eyes are a dark brown with lines of black breaking up into the eye. The pupil of the eye is sold black. She wears only a little eyeliner underneath her eyes that’s black and dark purple eye shadow.

Weight: 130lbs

Height: 5’10”

Weapon: She wields two short blade weapon were the blade is in the shape of a half moon. The rounded part is the blade and both of the hilts are wrapped in black tape. The left sword blade is black with a white cross engrave into the blade. This is her favor sword that was passed down to her by her mother in honor to her reaching 16 years old. The other sword is also black with a red upside down cross that’s engraved into the blade. This sword with given to her by her father to keep with her if the Heavens are not there to help her. The two swords are sheathed at her side in brown leather sheaths.

Armor: None

Strength: She is really fast when she wants to be in not only running speed but also reaction time and counterattacking. She is very smart in battle and knows how to keep away from others weapon attacks and counter attack them. Her top running speed she has been time at about 50 mph but her reaction time to move out the way is only a few second after seeing what her opponent about to do. It’s hard to trick her in to something your about to do.

She also has a wide range of spells she has learned in her lifetime that can be used. Her spells are strong magic in both healing and attacking magic. She is very skilled with using her two sword and known how to fight with one or both of them. The smallest of the short sword and how lightweight the sword is makes her swing fast.

Weakness: Though, she is fast at moving around a battle field she isn’t strong physically. If she up against someone strong she wouldn’t be able to go head on. With that said she isn’t good at fighting with her fist and will only fight with her short swords. Guys piss her off to no end and she will lose her cool and attack without thinking about their moves. her spells take time to cast as she summons up the magic. She does like to fight all that mach so doesn’t try to hurt a person to death and this gets her in trouble when she thinks her opponent has had enough.

Skills:

Fang style- Sara has master being able to use her swords in many ways. This style is the most basic and the first position she’ll take. This style uses her favorite white cross short sword to attack and block things. If up against other she uses her short sword to change the direction of the thing she blocking without trying to use her power to force it back.

This style gives her both quick blocking and attacking at close range. This style also lets her to see how strong an opponent maybe and see if there is any see able weakness in their attacks. She also holds her swords in two different way to focus her on more blocking and attacking or just attacking and moving out the way.

Wolf style: This style is use when she feels that she needs to get into real fighting and stop playing around. She uses both her sword in this fighting style and is made to attack quickly without blocking much. She uses both swords to attack the person in more then one spot at a time. She really good at both these style and as she fights in them it show how much control she has at fighting with them.

These two style are a base idea on how she fight with these two she also can switch between them very fast as need.

Magic: All magic spells take time to cast because she has to said a little prayer to summon the magic up.

Serpent flame dance: Prayer- “Oh, great serpent of the sea guide me to the heavens in your sea of flames.” This spell calls a raging flame in the shape of a serpent at her opponent. The flame is hot and can move quickly. She will sometime cast the flame on her blade or blades to help her attacks hurt more.

Sea God Triton: Prayer- “Powerful god of the sea and water, I call upon your aid in battle and in life. Triton give hope back to the world and call your powerful waves of water.” This spell calls a power tide wave of water out of the sky at her opponent.

Summon Cerberus: (note this is the only summon she learned from her father who was into dark arts of magic.) “The gate keeper of the guards where the mighty Hades is kept. I need your aid and powerful might to save my life to day. Cerberus come as I command and fight under my order!”

Cerberus the powerful three-headed hound is a scary summon even to her and she only summon him if all else fails. Since Cerberus doesn’t really listen to her and will kill his foe without thinking.

Gift of the Unicorn: Prayer- “Blessed, sacred holy beast with healing powers unmatched by normal human. Guide me to the path of light for I only see darkness in my eyes. This cold touch that’s place upon my hand isn’t getting warmer as I walk the path of death. No, only your gift from above can heal this wound that no other can. Please great unicorn save my life.”

The Unicorn gift is a powerful healing spell that can heal almost any number of wounds on her body. The down fall and the reason she doesn’t use it much it that the spell takes so long to cast she would have to do a lot of run away to cast it, but if cast all wounds would be healed and her body would keep healing for sometime after.

Appearance: She has a nice hourglass shape to her body. Her skin is smooth and light brown in color and lighter on the parts that don’t get much sun. Her nails are a little long they, come off her finger about a half-inch. A light coat of dark red nail polish covers her nails and has a shining look to them. She also wear light pink lipstick along with the makeup on her eyes. Her legs are the muscular part of her whole body, but the muscles help give her legs shape in the best of ways.

A dark red almost rose color shirt she wears that coves the upper body and show off her shape. A short skirt that stops about half way before reaching her knees. The skirt is also red and matches her shirt and nails. The skirt hangs down loose around the legs and both the shirt and skirt are made out of cotton. The shirt has two thin straps that goes over her shoulder to help hold the shirt up. Her two swords are sheathed in a brown leather belt that’s around her waist. Blue shoe finish she clothes off.

She has a necklace that her mother gave her just before she left home. The necklace is sliver with a sliver cross and the word “May heaven be with you.” on the back of the cross. She wears gold earrings that have a small loop.

by, HitokiriChibi

Personally: She can be a nice, kind, sweet women to be around, but she becomes really cold really quick to men. She is a loveable person to be around, but life has taught her not to trust men right off. So, she dislikes them and wish they were not on the same planet with her. To other women she tries to make friend with and get along with them and most of the time she does, but some doesn’t like the way she acts to all men.

Underneath the cold act that she puts on to the men she believes in true love and wish to find it. The one thing that keeps her from not wanting to be alone is this dream. That her knight and king will find her and unlock her true heart. That he will take way all the pain her feels from the past and protect her always so she doesn’t have to put blood on her hands anymore.

This one dream and wish keeps her from killing all men that only likes her for her looks. Though, she dislikes men and doesn’t try to get to know one she doesn’t start a fight with them. People that hasn’t met her, but her about her believes she’s a cold heart person that beats up on men for no reason. Most of the time this keeps the guys off her and is the only reason her doesn’t say it’s wrong.

Biography: Sara and her parents lived in a church in a small town called Eldor. The little town was an old beat up place with wood houses that are breaking from old age. She was mostly happy as a young girl playing with the other children the church took in off the street. All the kids that she when to school with thought she was poor because of where she lived and got bulled by the boys a lot.

Both of Sara parents were really into history and studying the past through the eyes of the church. Though, both loved history they study different things. Her father mainly learned about the black dark history of the world and hell and evil stuff like that. He soon learned how to do a lot of things and had a sword made to show the devils cross.

Oddly enough her mother always nice and kind caring women focus on heaven and the good beautiful things that happens in the world. She to learned about magic mostly healing magic. Sara mother taught her daughter the prayer to heal herself at a young age. Her mother always had her ‘holy sword’ as she called it with her. The sword with the cross that been passed down her family line since it was mad.

Sara didn’t really care much about what they read but she did learn what her mother and father wanted to show her. After she turned the age of 14 her father thought it was time she learned to fight after seeing her face bleeding for a boy pushing her down on the ground. He trained her hard at running and reaction day and night setting a goal at the level she must get to by the end of the day before rest.

At Sara 16th birthday her mother passed down the ’holy sword’ to her daughter. At this point her father had stop training her to move fast and didn’t want her learning how to wield that short sword. So, Sara taught herself how to use it and practice everyday. Sara father saw this and handed down his sword and away to keep both by her side.

At the age of 18 she left her mother and father off to find her way of life. She didn’t want to live but both of them told her it were best she leave and find her own way of life. Sara came to a big city called Dango with lots of people. Since all the boys in her town was mean to her because of where she lived she didn’t believe all of them are mean like that. In Dango a nice man came up to her and started talking to her. She didn’t catch on until after other girl he asked out came up to slap him in the face. She then found out what he really was like. He tried hard to act sorry, but the sword to his throat stopped him from trying anymore and he let her leave. Until this day she doesn’t like men and wishes they were on a different planet then the one she on.
