Re: Character List
Name: Rein
Age: 27 Race: Human Sex: Male Hair: Jet black, straight and long enough to cover the top half of his eyes Eyes: Green Weight: 191 pounds Height: 7 feet 1.2 inches Weapon: Great halberd, it was passed down through his family over generations, it has red steel pole for a handle, one end has a small golden ball, the other has a flawless steel blade with the family emblem engraved in gold. (For those of you who don’t know, a halberd is a polearm that has an ax-like head with a steel spike in line with the shaft Hanger) Armor: The only armor that rein wears is on his torso and on his clothes, they where crafted by his brother's fiancés father, who was the most skilled blacksmith in their village. Strengths: Rein is very strong and skilled at using his weapon thus being great at close quarters combat. His determination means he will never give up, even in the face of death. Weakness: Whereas he is skilled with his weapon, he is very vulnerable to magic attacks; he also struggles against any kind of ranged attacks. He is also very arrogant and will never make a compromise unless there is something in it for himself. He is quick with his weapon but when it comes to running he can be fairly slow meaning it is difficult for him to flee from a fight. He has a tendency to overestimate his own abilities thus wearing out quickly. Skills/Magic: Trained with his halberd Appearance: Reins hair is straight and down making it difficult to see his green eyes, he wears a red garb underneath his silver armor which is dull and scratched from battle. The garb has the occasional gold decoration and has a red hood with a golden stripe which he only doesn’t wear when in battle. He wears armored gloves of silver and red with open cut fingers. His left pinky is half cut off from battle. His bottom half contains no armor but some fairly baggy red trousers that are loose for easy movement. He wears shoes as black as his hair. Personality: He is very arrogant and is constantly acting cocky. This results in him getting into many fights with people he has insulted. Underneath this tough guy shell however he is kind and caring with a strong sense of justice, he rarely shows it though. He has a lot of pride and if he loses a fight he will hold a grudge for years. Biography: Rein grew up in a small mountain village with his farther and his older brother. His mother had sadly died during childbirth and rein therefore never knew his mother. His farther was head of the villages defense force and spent almost all of his spare time training his two sons, and due to the quiet nature of the village he had a lot of time on his hands. Rein and his brother Fador became very skilled with their weapons, Fador a sword, and Rein a halberd, both weapons that had been passed down the family. When Rein was just 15 and his brother 18, their farther passed away due to illness. After an era of mourning Fador took his farther as the head of the village defense and thus met Helda, who he asked to marry. Helda's farther was the village’s most skilled black smith and made armor for both fador and Rein. When Rein was twenty and Fador was 23 the wedding was ready to happen. Unfortunately Reins skills with his weapon had caused him to become overconfident and arrogant and ended up making a pass at helda, this of course infuriated Fador and the entire village decided to hate him for this. Rein decided it would be best to leave and has spent the last 7 years traveling and waiting to find someone who can match his skills with a halberd. |

Name: Esni Dayrose Title: Innocence, as his name means innocence in Silronian. Age: 10 Species/Race: Human Sex: Male Hair: Long light blue hair that parts down the middle. It isn’t too long and it doesn’t cover his face, it just stays to the sides. Eyes: Blue eyes with the same hue as his hair. They seem to reflect the pure meaning of innocence. Weight: 76lbs Height: 4’5” Discipline: Esni has literally no training whatsoever excluding mental training. As a plus, he basically knows everything that there is to know, which is an amazing advantage in battle that most people take for granted. Preferred Weapon: Thinking beyond the box, Esni uses no weapon larger than a pencil. He does this purposely so that he has the ability to move around without carrying the weight of a weapon. Held Weapon: Day Rose: This happens to be a very unique weapon where nothing else of the kind exists in Silronia. It is a simple little rose that glows blood red, but it has a special property. The Day Rose can technically be used as a weapon by generating magic at twice the level that the normal caster could create, but there is more to it. When in a dire situation, Esni can actually pick a petal from the flower and eat it. Eating the petal infuses him with the power of the rose, thus increasing all of his abilities substantially. The only downside to eating a petal is that there are only six petals on the flower, and the longer it takes for Esni to win the battle and get make the power go away the longer it takes for the petals to re-grow. For every minute that Esni is using the power a week is added to the total recovery time of that petal. Other than its magical advantages, the rose is infused with a certain energy that can repel any attack if the rose blocks it. Appearance: He wears a blue robe where one half of it folds under the other half so that it looks like a kimono. The robe itself is a light blue, but it has one-inch lines that follow the sides of the robe that are white colored. Beneath the robe is usually a dark blue cotton shirt. He wears the Adams’s family crest on a chain around his neck to show his loyalty to King Adams. He sometimes wears a blue tactician’s hat too. Special Abilities: His incredible mind and the unique rose provide quite an advantage in battle. His age as well is something that could possibly cause an opponent to underestimate him. Special Attacks/Magic: Godhand: Timeskip – The only Godhand technique that was taught to a mortal was the Timeskip ability. This allows Esni to actually go back in time for five minutes to try and change the outcome of a battle. He can choose any time in the last 24 hours and there are two of him while Timeskip is cast; there is the original him that was in that time and the one from the future. Upon his return to normal time, all changes that would have been made are already made and he is in the same position as he was when he cast the spell. This spell can only be used once a month so he only uses it in dire situations. Godhand: Reanimation – This is a technique that is only legally allowed to be used by the gods, but Esni was able to figure it out without being taught by any of the gods. Being that he was able to create the skill from scratch, he is able to use it according to the universal principle of “if you can do it without the help of the gods then you earned it.” This technique has the simple principle of giving life to the dead. Simply by touching the dead with a glowing hand, the soul is summoned back to the body and nothing can get in the way because it is as foolproof as the gods’ version. Godhand: Barrier of Creation – Esni was able to learn this technique through the same means that he used to learn the Reanimation skill. This technique is perhaps just as useful as the Timeskip technique, as it had certain strengths that can affect any opponent. The Barrier of Creation removes a sample of the opponent’s DNA instantaneously and then a barrier is created around whatever area that repels that type of opponent. For example: if Esni used the barrier on a dark elf, no dark elf would be able to get through the barrier because all members of the same species have the same stem of DNA. This barrier can last forever, so it is a good thing to have when trying to recuperate or when planning on what to do next. The only problem with it is that it cannot block the actual opponent and he/she’s weapons or magic. It can only block one thing at a time, so Esni would have to be fast when switching the barrier to block certain things. Gravity/Magnet Magic – Spells that use gravity and magnet to do damage to an enemy. Gravito – A very useful spell when in the hands of Esni. This technique can be used for numerous things, and with it under his mind, it’s even deadlier than it seems. Magnetic Tomb – First, Esni sneaks somewhere and implants a metal trap in the dirt. When the opponent comes by, he can set the trap off with his mind from any distance. What it does is explode and releases a large amount of white gas and a myriad of microscopic spikes that are hidden by the gas. The iron makes its way into the skin pores of the opponent, and as long as they stay in there, Esni can manipulate the actually opponent to a degree. The effectiveness all depends on the opponent’s strength and control over his/her brain. Fire Magic – Spells that use fire to damage an enemy. Flamequake– Esni summons fire from deep within the earth and forces it up through the surface. As the flames and heat rise, the crust begins to crack to let it all out. Finally, the flame and magma all burst out of the crust and cause a massive eruption of flame and lava from below. It also leaves a huge fissure in the earth. Fireball – A simple ball of fire that can be shot at around 20mph from the hand. Lightning/Electricity Magic – Spells that use lightning and electricity to damage an enemy. Heavenly Bolt – Esni moves around an area that he feels is suitable for the attack and places three or four flags in the ground. After placing them, he can leave the area enclosed by the flags and summon a massive bolt of lightning that incinerates the entire defined field. The flags do not prevent the enemy from escaping; they just lay out the determined area of strike. Volt – A simple shot of three rotating bolts of electricity from Esni’s hand. This travels at around 30mph. Water/Ice Magic – Spells that use water and ice to damage an enemy. Crystal Dicer – The crystal dicer is a rather bloody attack if it hits. In this attack, Esni forms several thin sheets of ice out of his own or nearby water. He raises them into the air and then he sends them straight at the enemy. The enemy is slashed to pieces if it hits them. Dragon Spout – One of Esni’s more powerful basic spells, it is a long passed down spell of the Dayrose family. First, Esni puts his hands together at the bases of the palms. He then pushes all of his fingers directly up against each other and curves the ends to face the enemy. Once in position, he twists both hands in that position and a huge spout of water shoots from them. The pressure that this causes when it hits a surface is enough to put a hole in an iron wall. There are also traces of frozen water in there too, so it may cut the opponent. Earth/Wood Magic – Spells that use earth and wood to damage an enemy. Forest of Buurakaido – This is a special technique taught to Esni by his adopted brother, Braiden Dayrose. This uses the spirit energy of Braiden’s planet, Buurakaido, to create a massive forest. This doesn’t really seem to be a deadly technique at first look, but it is quite a killer move. First of all, the trees grow unnaturally close together, so it is easy for the opponent to be crushed or impaled. Second, the forest comes up out of the ground within a second and sends up flying rocks and debris that can hit the opponent. Finally, it is useful because these trees cannot be destroyed and they provide adequate cover for Esni. When Esni has no more use for the trees, he dispels them and the energy returns to Buurakaido. Spire – This is a simple technique that causes a large spike of earth to come up beneath the opponent. It can grow as long as there is dirt to feed it. Wind/Celestial Magic – Spells that use the sky and celestial bodies to damage the enemy. Moon Rain – This technique is very deadly, but rather disadvantageous to use in some situations. This actually creates an entire moon up above the place of battle. Because it is such a complicated thing to create, this takes lots of energy and is not a favorite of Esni’s. Once the moon is created, it immediately begins to break up. Within a minute, a massive meteor shower falls down on the battlefield. Gust – This is a basic spell that creates or manipulates a wind current to either hurt the enemy or give Esni a movement boost. He can force the wind to blow as hard as 120mph, so it can get pretty windy. Holy/Healing Magic – Spells that use holy magic and healing magic to harm enemies and heal friends. Crucify – This spell creates a massive cross behind the opponent and sucks him/her directly onto the front of it. The cross and the opponent are then enveloped in white light and good damage is dealt. Blood Oath – Because Esni gave up a blood offering to Ka, he was blessed with the ability to regenerate skin cells. This isn’t an automatic thing, though, it must be activated and it takes a while to heal completely. Dark/Forbidden Magic – Spells that use the dark and forbidden arts to harm enemies. Shade – This simply envelops a small area in darkness so that the enemy cannot see. Of course during this time Esni can see the same as normal. Soul Curse – This is a forbidden technique that involves a short ritual. First, an offering of the victim’s blood must be present on the sacrificial parchment. Once the blood is ready, Esni creates a miniature cross and sticks the parchment to the cross. After five minutes of the parchment being on the cross, the entire thing catches on white flames and finally dissipates. Once the parchment is completely gone, the opponent’s soul is already the property of Christof and the enemy is in checkmate. These are just two examples of each kind of magic he can perform. Honestly there are an infinite amount of spells he can really cast, including enhancement and disabling spells. Strengths: His mind, his weapon, and his incredible magic skills. He also is the only one who can perform three different Godhand techniques. Weaknesses: He is very compassionate and it is difficult for him to fight or hurt somebody or something that he does not have a good reason to hurt or kill. Because of his age and stature, he is easily wounded. Also, he is basically completely a mage; his physical attacks are only effective against mortals with no special powers. He also isn’t amazingly powerful, so he has to waste energy on using an enhancement spell when fighting fast opponents. Personality: Esni is, as his name describes, innocent. He is very compassionate and intelligent, and can pretty much make a friend out of anyone. He is often regarded as a child by outsiders and has to deal with being ignored, but he is so good-natured that it doesn’t really affect how he treats the people. Though he is very intelligent, he doesn’t really brag or bother anyone. There has only been one time that he pissed someone off by being more intelligent, and that man was Luce Spearseten. History: Esni was born into the all-powerful Dayrose family. His father is Vane Dayrose, who basically holds the same amount of authority in his dimension as the gods themselves. Unfortunately, his mother is actually a succubus that seduced his father. Once Vane remembered what had happened, he went and killed the succubus. What he found out, though, was that she had actually given birth, and the baby was laid down right next to what looked like a pot of boiling water. He knew who’s kid it was and he took him in, naming him Esni, which means innocence in Silronian, so that he would grow up not involved with the sins that existence entails. Because of the crisis with Rein Aeria, Vane had no time to take care of a child, so he moved Esni and himself to a nearby dimension where the time count was several times faster. 9 normal years passed there before Vane felt that Esni would be capable of taking care of himself when he wasn’t around. They returned to Silronia and Esni saw for the first time what evil and sin could do to the world. He was shown videos of Rein Aeria in the City of Bimalon, and he was educated in the ways of Silronia. Vane had already known that the child was a prodigy, considering the fact that he could come up with an effective, elaborate strategy in less than a second, and execute it without flaw. Everyone loved him and respected his uncommon love for learning and growing in all forms of magical study. By his tenth birthday, he was already considered and equal of Prince Nicanor Adams, the greatest strategist in Silronia. The only thing was that Nicanor was so smart that he was the only one who realized that Esni was, in actuality, more intelligent than he. Following Nicanor’s examples, Esni became quite an unbelievable military tactician and was even appointed as the second strategist of the Helios Crusaders. The boy worked half with King Michael Adams and half with his father in trying to bring down Rein. Using the timeskip technique, Esni was able to save five minutes of time every time that he switched dimensional planes; those five minutes added up. Because of the great amount of extra time that he had, Esni was able to contribute a lot to both sides. On Amaran, he helped defend Helios land from the Land Pirates and Sentus Maroulis. He devised many strategies that kept their much smaller army on top and eventually helped them drive Sentus completely from their land. With his father, Esni traveled alongside him in his quest to find Caysheo of the Sincarnate Five. At this point, Rein had begun his plan to take over the parallel dimension of Silronia and was going to destroy the real one once he was done. Caysheo was the last member of Rein’s elite team and was primarily used to create a barrier around the real and parallel Silronias so that nobody could interfere with their plan. Before they were able to find Caysheo, though, the team found Suxen Carmine, the third member of the Sincarnate Five. Taking in the abilities of his teammates, Esni was able to create a plan to level the battle out. His father, Vane Dayrose’s; his adopted brother, Braiden Dayrose’s; his father’s pupil, Xing Demos’; and his own powers were taken into consideration in the plan. He was able to command several teamwork tactics that evened the odds in the battle and they were able to take out the massively powerful Suxen. They gained Caysheo’s location from him afterwards, but he escaped by making himself appear to die. With all of his accomplishments, Esni is considered a hero of Silronia; his compassion and bravery make him a unique flower that had never before bloomed and will never again bloom after he is gone… Battle Rank Player: Vane Dayrose Character: Esni Dayrose Innate Element: Omni-elemental Overall Rank: V Strength: II Defense: II Elemental: X Speed: V Skill: V

The Ekirei Tenma, a shadow of green, shot past the buildings of the Village Hidden in the Sand. The demon spirit came up to a door in one of the buildings and seeped through the cracks in it. "Nenshou, please go get your brother," a slender woman, in her thirties atleast, said to a small boy, atleast five years old. "Yes, mother!" he said. He bounced into the next room and woke his brother up. Dokubutsu Kyoushu was a seven year old boy who was, to everybody in the Sand Village, the cutest little boy in the Fire Country. He was also wearing a big grin most of the time, which just added to his cuteness. As he rubbed the sleep from his eyes, he went to the table, sitting on top of his heels, forelegs and knees flat on the ground. His mother passed out the plates, filled with food, and they all began eating simultaneously, after saying their usual, "Itadakimasu." After Dokubutsu ate, he went outside. Ekirei Tenma had easier prey than expected. Dokubutsu shivered in the cold. As he looked around the village, an unexpected form strolled up to him. "Raikatsu-nee-sama!" Dokubutsu said to the Kazekage, a man also in his thirties. Ekirei Tenma wanted to avoid being seen by the Kazekage, so he waited patiently. "Hello, Dokubutsu. Is your mother home?" he asked. "Mommy's in the house, I'll go get her!" Dokubutsu said, running inside. He yelled for his mother, Tsuchi Kyoushu. As she came to the door, Tsuchi rushed Raikatsu in her house and shut the door. The Kazekage slept there tonight, and Ekirei Tenma waited until everyone was asleep. __________________________________________________ _________________ The next morning was a tragic one; Dokubutsu had gone missing. The council of the Sand met at the Kazekage's hut. There were four in all, including the Kazekage. "Kazekage-sama, excuse the interruption, but this is urgent!" one of Raikatsu's secreteries said, bursting into the room, "A plague has swept our village! People are becoming fatally ill second after second, and one person is already dead. What should we do?" she finished. "Plague?! Evacuate everyone!" Raikatsu said. "Excuse me, Kazekage-sama, but Nenshou Kyoushu cannot be found, assumably out looking for his brother!" another secretery said, bursting into the room. "Nenshou too?! Send a search party of chuunin to find him! Make sure he gets back safely!" the Kazekage said hastily. "But first, completely evacuate the whole village, NOW!" he finished. "Y-Yes sir," the secretery said. "Tell everyone to meet atleast a mile away from the village, too!" the Kazekage said after the secretery. She nodded and ran out to the village, using kage bunshin to help her. "Now, let's go before the plague hits us," he said to his council. They nodded, then teleported away. The Kazekage did the same. __________________________________________________ _________________ Everyone was at the meeting point. Every head accounted for, except Dokubutsu and Nenshou. "Don't worry, the search party will come back with Dokubutsu and Nenshou, safe and sound!" the Kazekage assured. And, as if on queue, three chuunin jumped out of the trees of the forest to their right. But something was wrong... "Taka, Mizuchi, Yami! What happened? Where's Katori?" the Kazekage said, running over to the three battered and bruised chuunin. "He's...Dead, sir! Dokubutsu...Killed him!" uttered Taka, taking deep gasps of breath. Mizuchi all-out fell over and coughed up blood, while Yami just fell to the ground unconscious. "What the hell are you-" started the Kazekage, but he already saw the answer, since it was walking right towards them. Dokubutsu walked over to all of them, snake-eyed. Slamming his hands together, he started doing handseals. "Dokubutsu, stop!" yelled Tsuchi. But he just continued making handseals. The last one stopped, and out from Dokubutsu's mouth came a huge torrent of poisonous fumes. "Run! Don't breathe in those fumes! They'll instantly kill you," the Kazekage yelled, teleporting out of the mass of fumes, completely unaware that all of his people were forced, by genjutsu, to breathe them in. Dokubutsu stood facing the Kazekage, his elder brother. His brother was completely bound, and could not even twitch. All he could do is watch as Dokubutsu took a kunai out of his pocket and slowly moved it towards his heart. "Goodbye, brother," Dokubutsu said, jamming the kunai into his chest completely. Raikatsu's eyes were now completely and utterly lifeless. Dokubutsu then turned his back on the Sand Village forever. __________________________________________________ _________________ Nenshou ran away to the Leaf, unaware that his whole village had just been destroyed by his own brother. After years in the leaf village, he had found two companions. DISCLAIMER: This fight is quite violent ![]() Nenshou stirred about slowly from his unconciousness. Opening his eyes, he saw that he was no longer fighting Dokubutsu. All he could remember was the snarling face of a wolf, and everything else was pitch-black. "Shouten...Souzetsu...You guys have probably gone to Heaven. But there's something inside me that weighed me down to Hell," he said aloud. "Is it...Really my time?" Nenshou thought about nothing for awhile. He just sat in the cold black ashes of Hell. After awhile, he started to observe his surroundings. There were long obsidian walls with cracks of lava in them. Every now and then, a gargoyle or lesser demon would fly by. Where he was laying, there was cold ash. Below the cold ash was burning ground, so he was lucky he didn't land on it. He stood up, brushing the ash from his clothes. And then, there was a figure. Nenshou couldn't make him out of course, but the figure was no doubt humanoid. "Hey...Could you tell me if this is Hell or not?" Nenshou said to the humanoid figure. Coming into the light, he saw it was an unnamed greater demon, of course stronger than Nenshou. "Quiet, knave," the greater demon said in his deep, grumbling voice. He kicked Nenshou back into the cold ash. Nenshou didn't move after that, just crumpled into a ball and started sobbing. But those tears slowly turned into anger. He rose to his feet, chakra bubbling and churning with hate. "Who's the knave here again?" Nenshou yelled at the demon, who turned his back to Nenshou. The demon turned to him and charged. Nenshou jumped over him and charged back. Taking out two kunai, he jumped onto the demon's back. He stabbed one kunai through the demon's head, one through the heart, and jumped off. In midair, he made handseals. "Hebi, ryu, usagi, tora...Katon, Ryuka no Jutsu!" he said. A great burst of flame swallowed the demon completely until he was no more. Nenshou smiled, forgetting completely about where he was. "Heh, the name's Kyoushu, remember it well!" he yelled. He spun around on his heel. It took him awhile to realize he was face to face with a gigantic shadow demon. "You seem scared judging by the tears on your face, but then again, you're just a child," the demon laughed. "I am Rein Aeria, the king of Hell!" "Well that's good then, if I kill you I can go to Heaven!" Nenshou shouted. "Funny," replied Rein. Nenshou looked straight into the giant demon's eyes; "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" Five Nenshou clones appeared and threw two kunai each straight into the heart of the shadowy colossus. A loud hissing sound came from the black heap as the darkness began to melt away leaving what looked like a mere man. "That was surprising, you got through my little disguise," Rein said. "You liar...You can't be the king of Hell," Nenshou shouted as he ran straight towards Rein. "You'll see," Rein whispered under his breath as he caught a quick punch from Nenshou and elbowed him in the stomach. Nenshou was disoriented and he couldn't see. Rein threw a swift punch to his nose and knocked the boy down. Nenshou looked up to see where Rein had gone, but he saw nothing. "Where are you demon?" he shouted. No answer came, only a loud "sizzling" noise. Nenshou looked up to see a black veil falling upon the area at a high speed; he couldn't escape it. The dark shade landed directly on top of Nenshou as he let out an agonized scream. Rein watched the darkness subside, leaving a naked boy with very little remaining skin. What was left of his skin was horribly burned. "That was... pathetic" Rein hissed, "I had better clean up the mess, I know how Vane is with seeing children burnt up ever since what Kaze did to his son, especially the eyeballs. Rein began to fly down to the body, but chakra suddenly began to rise up around it. Rein stopped for a second to observe and saw that the chakra was healing him; he wasn't dead. The skin slowly regenerated and his skin tone went back to normal. "So this will be more fun than I thought," Rein said to himself as scales began to protrude from his body. Nenshou looked up with a wince and looked a full shadow demon in the eyes. "You bastard...I will definitely kill you!" Nenshou shouted. Nenshou dodged a beam of black energy from the samurai sword and charged with a blackened fist of chakra. He slammed his fist towards the shadow demon's chest, but something blocked him. His punch was deflected completely, and all the chakra that was in his fist was gone. He saw that Rein was twirling his sword around rythmically. "Damnet!" Nenshou shouted. He packed a 32nd of the Juubi's chakra gift into a rasengan. He slammed the rasengan into the shield of souls. All of the souls were sucked into the rasengan, giving it even more power. It had a ghostly white aura around it, practically pulsating with power. Rein, shocked, tried to pull back, but the rasengan hit home. "Rasengan!!" Nenshou yelled. A huge ring of power erupted and shot Rein, spinning wildly, straight into a rock. Nenshou, still possessing a great 31/32 of the chakra, stared at the figure that was Rein. Nenshou's eyes widened at what he saw next. "Hmph...Not bad, for a kid. I can't believe I'm using my second demon form for this brat..." Rein said. He was no longer black, but silver. Nenshou stared at the spiral of pure power that surrounded Rein; he knew that he wouldn't be able to hold out much longer if the power increased. Suddenly, Nenshou felt a fist hit him; again, again and again. The next thing he knew, a sword protruded from his chest. "I don't think you know what you are dealing with," Rein said as he removed the sword and watched the boy fall to the ground, eyes closed. He began to walk towards it and a large flurry of chakra blasted him in the chest. It surrounded Nenshou's body and he began to slowly stand up using inhuman reflexes. Rein stared eyes wide-open at the boy, "it appears this is going to be very fun!" Nenshou said nothing as he charged at a speed impercievable to the human eye. Rein couldn't even see it, but he was able to dodge it on reflex. Nenshou turned around at the same speed and began striking rapidly at Rein. The demon moved back at the same speed, blocking and striking back each hit. Rein realized that he should begin to take the battle seriously and warped to a safe distance. "Relax, it will be over in a second," Rein said to Nenshou telepathically as he strung an arrow on Desperae. Nenshou screamed at the top of his lungs as a second chakra tail appeared behind him. He turned around to look for Rein and sensed his presecence in the northwest. Rein saw that Nenshou had found his location and let the arrow go. All that could be heard was an ear-piercing cry as the arrow went completely through Nenshou's shoulder, launching him several hundred miles away. "If I were naive I would say that it is over, but I saw that he moved so that the arrow only struck his shoulder. He won't be able to use that arm; it probably disconnected entirely. Nenshou was forced back up by the Juubi. With every bit of consciousness, he pleaded for victory, some small chance that he'd win. And the Juubi responded. "Boy, you're interesting," Rein said telepathically, nocking an arrow on Desperae and pointing it right at his head. He loosened the arrow, and it flew. Rein smiled cockily and sheathed Boraku. This fight was over. All that remained of Nenshou was a cloud of dust. But, of course, Nenshou is pretty much no longer existant, seeing as any and every sign of consciousness was completely erased. Rein, who had his back turned the whole time, felt something tightening around him. He was now completely bound. He looked down at his body, startled, and saw what was grabbing him. A huge black hand. Miles and miles away, Nenshou stood, two tails protruding from his abdomen and ears from his head. "You bastard," he said in a deep, evil voice that made even Rein's spine tingle, "I'll destroy any and all remnants of your very existance!" he finished, and yanked back on the giant black chakra hand. Rein flew straight towards him. The chakra sank back into his arm. His hand was completely black, and it looked like the aura of darkness around it was growing. Throwing his fist back deeply, Rein still shooting towards him, he waited. Just as Rein was three feet away from him, he shot his arm out with all his strength. It hit Rein right in the chest. He flew unbelievably far, and was in even more unbelievable pain. Nenshou threw his head back and screamed, arms raised, and charged a chakra bomb. "Die," he yelled in his deep voice, whipping the bomb where Rein landed. The huge amount of compacted chakra exploded. Nenshou, though, was too sure of himself. The dust cleared very slowly as Nenshou struggled to find the remnants of Rein. "You aren't dead and you cannot hide from me!" He shouted. "Son of a *****!" Rein shouted from above as he swooped down upon Nenshou. The boy turned around at the sound of Reins voice and jumped straight into a savage gore. In mid-flight, Nenshou felt his spine snap in several places as Rein released him and flung his body upon a cliff. His body went straight through it all and came out several miles on theother side. Rein stood up and wiped blood off of his mouth, "that little bomb trick came close..." Nenshou once again was pulled up by th Juubi, even with a broken spine he was able to move from the chakra. Suddenly a gigantic hand came out of the ground under Rein and grabbed him. A smil crossed his face as the hand dragged him through the cliff and straight towards Nenshou. In Nenshou's other hand was a spiraling odama rasengan. "Heh, bye bye," Rein hissed as the rasengan penetrated his chest and caused a gigantic explosion. Nenshou growled when he saw that he was boxed in by a cage made of pure dark matter. "That little thing you just hit was a trap, not the real me," Rein explained from behind, "prepare for death!" Nenshou slammed his fist into the darkness but it didn't work. He had no idea what was coming next; all he could do was give the look of death to Rein. A smile crossed the demon's face as the huge black cage shifted shape into several hundred spikes and totally converged on Nenshou. No sound came from the bloody heap. All Rein could see was the disfigured naked boy in the middle of it all. Before Rein could even smile, another tail sprouted from the body... Nenshou did not say anything, and was now standing on all fours. His spine was healing extremely fast, and any bumps, bruises, and gashes faded away. Rein gasped in astonishment and tried to back up, but it was too late; Nenshou rammed Rein in the chest head-first. Rein coughed up blood before thrown into a rock hill then rolling into lava. "I'm not done!!!" Nenshou said with pure hatred, jumping in after him. In the pool of lava, Nenshou grabbed Rein's neck with another chakra arm and used the Oodama Rei Rasengan. Rein's stomach was completely torn out as he was shot straight out of the lava. Instead of hitting hard rock, his chest burst straight through a stalactite. Another hand of chakra came, one larger than Rein's body, and crumpled him up into a ball. Nenshou then spun the hand around and whipped him into a nearby wall. He was struck a mile inward. "Damn-" Rein almost managed to slip out, but white fire washed completely over him, burning away all of his skin. "I'LL KILL YOU!" Nenshou screamed, throwing a chakra bomb inside the indent Rein had made. There was a humongous explosion, and then a scream. Nenshou bore his demonic, powerful fangs in triumph. Black chakra swirled defensively around him as Rein, persistent as ever, crawled out of the hole. "What the hell are you, you bastard?" Rein panted. His aura was now gold. "If I weren't 100% pissed, i would take the time to say I wish I had a son like you...****, I said it," Rein cursed, realizing that he was an idiot. The new golden scales covered up the previous wounds and stopped the hindrance, but the pain and blood was still there. Nenshou dashed on all fours straight into Rein and slashed him with his claws and sent him flying backwards again. Rein did a flip as he put his hands together, "I have no choice but to..." Nenshou stopped as he felt a blade penetrating his back. A silver shadow demon stood behind him, holding Boraku. Rein stood in front, still holding Boraku as well and still golden. "GRAAAGHH!!!!" Nenshou yelled as jumped up and tore the blade out of his back. Nenshou didn't notice at all and began charging Rein again. Rein jumped back and watched as the other Rein, overcome with disgust, kicked Nenshou to the dirt and threw Boraku¨through his stomach. Nenshou let out a scream. "GRRAAH!" Nenshou growled with rage. Rein looked at him as he strung an arrow, "It's too late." Nenshou panted heavily as the arrow pierced his remaining arm, destroying every cell of it. Nenshou screamed in pain as the Juubi released a large wave of chakra, knocking both Reins far away. He stood there as a tear leaked, the pain was excruciating, but he could not give up. He jumped up in the air and launched chakra at both Reins and knocked them into the ground. Then he shot forward with all of his speed and might and slammed a foot into each of their chests. Both of the demons were instantly crushed and Nenshou watched their eyes roll back into their heads. The copy instantly melted and dispersed, and the real Rein sank back into the soil of Hell. "It's finally over..." But it wasn't over, for a laugh was heard in the distance... "I love shadow substitution," Rein laughed as he drew Boraku and flew in for the attack. Rein's sword was blown out of his hands. His bow was blown away also. Rein himself stopped completely, landing on firm ground. His eyes were wide and his body in complete shock. More power than Rein has ever seen was compacted into a head-sized ball of blackness. All FIVE of his tails, seeing as two more sprouted, and his mouth, were all pouring cascades of chakra into the ball. "What the hell are you doing!?" Rein said. It had enough chakra now to take out all of Hell, but Nenshou had other plans. The most evil-looking eyes stared blankly at Rein, and then looked back to the gigantic ball. Nenshou now looked like a full grown wolf, a pitch black one. "Answer me! That thing could destroy you as well as me!" Rein said. Nenshou continued to pour chakra into it, and Rein was still too stunned to go near it. After awhile, Nenshou's mouth stopped feeding it chakra. "Die!" Nenshou said gruesomely, and launched the Black Chakra Orb. ****... Figures I would have to do something like this once you got this strong," Rein curse as he summoned a black void that surrounded the two of them. Nenshou payed no heed to it as he slammed the huge black ball straight into the face of Rein. Within the black void, what seemed like a neverending flurry of chakra was bursting around. Neither of the two were in there. Rein stod outside panting, holding Nenshou's arm. "GRAAAAHHHH!!!!" Nenshou shouted as he realized that Rein had pulled them both out of the void and the ball had hit a substitution. All of that chakra wasted. "Calm down kid," Rein shouted as he backhanded Nenshou, knocking him back. "You are dangerous. Rein called Boraku to his hand and formed a seal in the dirt below him with the blade tip. Nenshou studdered to his feet and dug his claws into the dirt. "I can't allow this to go on anymore," Rein said as the seal exploded and enveloped Nenshou. He struggled as it swallowed him. Rein snapped his fingers and watched as the darkness subsided, and with it, the chakra. Nenshou stood normally in front of the king of demons. "Rahh!!!" Nenshou shouted as he was overwhelmed with the pain that he hadn't felt in the other forms; he fell to the ground sobbing. Rein walked up to him and drew Boraku, ready to end it. "Insolence! Stop!" Sarrea yelled at Rein. "It's not even his time to go, I'm not even sure why he's in Hell. Don't kill him!" she yelled. Rein thought about it for awhile. "You're absolutely right, angel. Take this boy up to Heaven, for he doesn't even deserve to die at the hands of the King of Hell," Rein said, flashing back into human form. Although it didn't sound it, Rein really didn't want to finish Nenshou. "Tch, what did you do, rape him?" Sarrea said, unfurling her wings and flying the naked boy up to Heaven. "*****! I should've killed you when I had the chance just then, since all you do is piss me off!!" Rein yelled at her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ When Nenshou came to, he was floating on a cloud. "Are you okay?" said a beautiful angel, leaning over him. "Y-Yeah, thanks," he said to the cleric. "Where am I?" "Sarrea Elestrune, our leader, saved you from the Demon King known as Rein. "Oh, I see..." Nenshou responded, realizing slowly that all of his clothes were back on and his shuriken and kunai holsters were all in place and full. Shaking the dizziness out of his head, he stood up. "Where's this Sarrea Elestrune?" he asked the cleric. She didn't respond, just pointed to a nearby castle. Nenshou walked up the winding stairways and long corridors of the castle until he came to the very top middle tower. Inside it was a beautiful angel holding two maces, a crown atop her head. "Ah, you must be the Nenshou kid!" she said, picking up a mop and bucket with bleach in it. She shoved them in the ninja's hands. "I expect the whole castle cleaned by tonight," she said, smiling. "What the ****?!" he screamed. "Shut up and do as your told!" she yelled back. "Damn it, bring me back down to Hell!" he yelled. "Be grateful I saved you, runt!!" she screamed back at the top of her voice. Hehe, that battle was between me and Vane Dayrose, so, full credit to Rein goes to him. Battles: Death and Decay [Zorolo]

Re: Character List
NAME: Kagan (kay-gan) Arisu
AGE: 16 GENDER: Male RACE: Human RACE SYMBOL http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n33/avyuir/human.gif CLASS: HawkEye CLASS DESCRIPTION: Rather than using daggers as much as Treasure Hunters, the Hawkeye threatens his opponents from afar using longbows. He becomes an even more powerful force when joined by a group. The Hawkeye's aim is accurate against single opponents, while he attacks groups of enemies effectively with Burst Shot. THEME SONG: Bodies by: Drowning Pool HAIR COLOUR: blonde EYE COLOUR: brown WEAPONS: One dagger and one bow. These weapons are called, Dark Elven Dagger and Elven Bow of Nobility. The dagger is very sharp and deadly. Its slices are precise and accurate. No one wants to fight Kagan when he pulls out his dagger. The bow is very precise as well, so long as the wielder who is aiming the bow, is shooting for a noble intension. This bow will not aim as precisely if the wielder has a dark intention. ARMOUR: Kagan has one set of armour. Dark Crystal. STRENGTHS: Kagan has a sturdy build. He is not easily knocked over nor easily hit. He is fast due to being a HawkEye. He fairs in both long ranged and close ranged combat. WEAKNESSES: Although Kagan has a sturdy build, being heavier can be a disadvantage. Quick opponents make it harder for him to hit. And even though Kagan fairs well both long and close ranged battles, it takes time to switch out his weapons. Switching out his weapons puts him into a vulnerable position. SKILLS: Double Shot: Allows two arrows to be quickly fired. Stun Shot: Stunning attack that inflicts shock and damage Burst Shot: Exploding arrows inflict damage on multiple enemies at range. Lethal Shot: Shoots a potentially deadly arrow. After this arrow is shot, Kagan will not be able to use this skill for at least 10 minutes. Backstab: Attacks an enemy from behind, inflicting a very painful wound. Deadly Blow: Attempts a potentially deadly attack. Only works if the enemy is crucially weakened. Mortal Blow: A potentially deadly attack. Will weaken enemy if the enemies back is turned and the attack was not fatal. Lethal Blow: A potentially deadly attack. After this attack, Kagan will not be able to use this skill for at least 10 minutes. APPERANCE: Kagan http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...Kagan/9_36.jpg http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...Kagan/9_26.jpg Sorry for the black and white. I had to do sketches this time. Couldn’t find the right pictures unfortunately DarkElven Dagger http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...gansDagger.jpg Elven Bow of Nobility http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n.../KagansBow.jpg PERSONALITY: Kagan is mostly laid back just like his mentor, Emir. He is protective over his friends but not to the extent like Emir. He’s usually just himself, cool, calm, and collected. He enjoys having his mentor be Emir although they are completely different. Emir is used to training with heavy weapons while Kagan is used to bows and daggers. BIO: Kagan had been training along side Avyuir on how to become a Palace Guard as well. He had been training since he was only 11 though. He had met Avyuir when he had just become a Rouge so he had been training much longer than she had. Although, he loved to play tricks rather than actually train. His first day, he had almost been expelled from the training grounds. “Kagan, I can’t believe you would do that. Those are real explosives. They could have hurt someone. Your almost 12 and yet you play like a 7 year old.” “I’m sorry Emir. I thought they were fake. Why would you use the real things? I mean, you said yourself, people could get hurts.” “That reason is for the dwarf race. They use them. And plus, you knew they were real, because I told you they were. No you were lucky not to be expelled. Come on, let’s get you home. Your parents will be worried—“ Instantly, Emir knew she had said the wrong thing. Kagan had lost his parents when he was only 4. And Emir knew that feeling having lost her parents when she was young. “Kagan, I am sorry. I merely forgot. Let us get you back to Scryde.” “No. I don’t want to go back to him. Please Emir, let me stay with you!” “What happened between you and Scryde? You had told me things had been bad this past week. Something must have escalated to worse things.” “Yes, but they are things I wish not to talk about. “ “That is fine, let us go home to my house then.”(OoC: Ryoko and Emir had not met each other yet and Emir still lived in Aden at the time. BiC) Kagan had been solemn the entire way to Emir’s house. Emir had kept glancing back to make sure he was still walking with her. “Emir, can I ask you something?” “What is it Kagan?” “When will I become a Rouge? I want to know. I already have my sights set on what I’m going to take up!” “Already? But you just started. You can’t just jump into being a Rouge. But if you must know, I’d say about fourteen maybe fifteenish. But that’s only if you stop messing around and actually train. And what do you plan to be?” “I promise I’ll train harder than before. And I want to be a HawkEye!” “You always did like using a bow more than a dagger. And you better!” True to his promise, Kagan had begun taking training much more seriously than before. He still played pranks every now and then, but none such as bad as the explosives prank. He trained extensively, pushing himself more and more. He trained much harder than the rest of his fellow trainees. He became a Rouge when he had just reached the age of fourteen. By the age of sixteen, Kagan had met Avyuir and Emir had met Ryoko. Emir had become a Warlord and Ryoko had become a BladeDancer. Kagan and Avyuir were both the same. They both wanted to reach the same goal, becoming a palace guard before anyone else. And they had nearly achieved there goal. Both Kagan and Avyuir had become a higher class than expected, while the other trainees had just become the middle class.(OoC: what I mean by higher, middle, and lower is beginning(just applied to become a palace guard), intermediate (becoming a Rouge, Warrior, Elven Knight, or Palus Knight.), advanced(Warlord, HawkEye, BladeDancer, SwordSinger) BiC) Having graduated much earlier than the rest, some began to blame Kagan and Avyuir for cheating. But Emir and Ryoko easily denied it and everything went as normal, or it would have, had Emir not been banished. After that had happened, many of the other trainees sneered at them for being “teacher’s pets.” Kagan had nearly had enough of this and was ready to teach them a lesson or two, but Avyuir stopped him. She had told him that it wasn’t right and that if they just ignored the comments, it would go away. Unfortunately, it did not stop. The shred comments got worse and worse. Kagan had finally reached his limit. “I can’t take this anymore! There all jealous and there such fools! They have no idea of the exertion that we both put up with to make it to this level.” “Kagan, there is no helping it. Yes they are jealous, but they do have a point. We did graduate much earlier than expected.” “Avyuir! How could you possibly be so calm at times like these?!? I can hardly stand it!” “You learn to live with it Kagan. Unfortunate for us, it is. Now would be a good time to have Emir back.” “We need to find Emir. I’ll go find her, while you find Ryoko. Maybe she can help us, if she isn’t too broken.” Avyuir had stayed at the palace after Kagan had gone straight to the King ask if he knew as to where he might think Emir may be for she knew that it would be very useless to go now. They still needed Avyuir to help with training sessions. But when he got there, he found the King very distressed. “Lionna, what am I to do? Antharas has awoken and is on his way to our city. There is no way we will be able to save our city.” “Send word to Ryoko. She could help. But that is all I can offer Teon.” “That is what I am to do! But whom to send?” “How about Kagan, he’s standing right out of our doorway.” Kagan gulped, had Queen Lionna known he was there the entire time. Kagan slipped into the room silently, under the eyes of the King and Queen. “Kagan, you are the only one right now who is not training, correct?” “That is true Lord Teon.” “Then you must take this piece of parchment to Ryoko.” King Teon quickly wrote a simple letter to Ryoko stating an attack of emergency. It read Dear Ryoko, I am issuing a state of emergency. The demon Antharas has awoken. Please, bring with you your strongest armour and your strongest weapons. We will need your assistance in this battle. May the wind travel with you. Your Lord Teon Kagan quickly delivered the message to the broken Ryoko, only to find that her spirit had not yet been shattered. Ryoko had been quick to jump up and grab her things when she read the letter. Ryoko and Kagan had ran all the way back to the castle, only to learn that Ryoko would be going without the assistance of Kagan or Avyuir. “But what do you mean I can’t help! Those are our people dying out there!” “Kagan, I understand where King Teon is coming from. You are still a young one. Please, stay here and guard the younger trainees.” “But I don’t want to guard them! I want to fight along side you Ryoko!” “No Kagan. Stay here, please. You would only get in my way.” “NO! I will not do such a thing! I do not want to feel like I let Emir down!” “By protecting the younger ones, you will not be letting Emir down. I will be going alone. And Kagan, try to follow me, and I will send you straight back! Understood!” “Yes Ryoko understood. . . .” Kagan watched Ryoko leave, only feeling the irony that he had let someone down. Why am I always the one left behind. It’s not fair. They always get the fun. Later that day, Kagan was dreading over Ryoko. Ryoko should have been back by now. He stood on the lookout that overhangs the palace outer doors. He noticed two figures coming. One was Ryoko, and the other, looked like someone familiar, but who? Who is that? She looks so—Emir! Kagan ran down quickly to help Ryoko, only to find Emir unconscious and a very large wound that was releasing blood, very quickly. “Kagan, thank goodness you’re here. Help me get Emir to the infirmary.” “So it is Emir! What happened to her?” “It’s a long story. (OoC: I’m really not in the mood to do the whole story again. Just look up Clash in the satrap Amphitheater. BiC) I’m sure that Emir will tell you once she wakes up.” Ryoko, Avyuir, and Kagan had been completely worried about the recovery of Emir. It had taken a week for the warlord to recover finally. Avyuir and Kagan had hoped that Emir would stay, but they found out that both Emir and Ryoko were leaving. "Ryoko!!! You’re leaving!! Please don't!" "Avyuir, calm down. You'll do fine my dear SwordSinger! Kagan, promise me you will take care of Avyuir." Of course Ryoko." Kagan saluted. "And don't worry you two. You’re ready now." "Good luck, to both of you. May you make fabulous guards and be even better than Emir and I!” Kagan had continue training the way Emir had taught him. He even started training some young trainees. Kagan had accepted the fact that he didn’t need Emir for everything. And that even he, the worst prankster for his time, could become a great guard.

Re: Character List
here are my two.
Full name: Iyasis Alula Namaru Gender: Female Race: Fire Unicorn (but is in human form) Her immortal spirit form is a winged fire unicorn, which is basically just what it sounds like. A giant unicorn the color of firelight, the mane and tail being made of fire. the wings are enormous feathered wings, with red and silver patterns and designs all over them. (Her wings can also come out in her human form at will.) This is her spirit form, which she can release to take over her body, then go back to her humanoid form at will. They have amazing endurance and can run and fly at speeds well over 150 mph. Hair: Blood red with silver tips, down past her shoulder blades, almost to middle of back Eye Color: silver, turn gold when working with fire magicks Height: 5' 10'' Age: 50,676 (appears about 18-19) Weapons: mainly her bonded sword, called Aroklia, but also occasional staff. Aroklia holds some magickal ability, but Iya's power is not based on it at all. She rarely uses it for magick, only as a regular sword. it was forged when she was very young, with her help, to be her bonded sword before she set out to become a warrior. It is 'bonded' because it was infused with her own energy and 'life force' if you will, so when she fights with it, it moves like its a part of her; follows her slightest breath, her slightest whim, like it reads her mind and body; which is why she is such a good swordswoman. She can summon it at any time, though it usually remains at her side, and it can never cut or injure her no matter who is wielding it. Armour: chain mail under a plain shirt, leather vest Magicks: is a master Fire Mage, earth magicks, general magicks (general meaning a little of everything) A few spells commonly used: Vines: she can summon vines from beneath the ground to wrap around enemies Levitation: the can levitate things around her and herself in fighting moves in a battle Fire Wall: pretty self explanitory, a wall of fire Fire Spiral/Ropes: Streams or ropes of fire to lash at enemies Trademark Move: Iya can break apart her body to fuse with the shadows around her, making it feel like she's everywhere at once. She also can apparate (aka teleport) and use various types of shields. these are just a few of her most commonly used spells. Strengths: Very skilled with the sword and in magick, feet make no sound or footprints, can sense enemies from afar, flying, speed greatly surpassing humans Weaknesses: her fear of hurting those she cares for or putting them in danger, and she can be distracted easily or can loose focus. And attacks from a distance Iya has a hard time defending against; she is a much better fighter close-range. using a great deal of magick at once can also drain her. Personality: Iyasis is a strong person, who likes to keep mostly to herself. she's very quiet and calm most of the time, immortality hardening her a bit over the centuries. She is an observer, and doesnt like to be the center of attention; as modest as she is. She's a very kind and compassionate person, despite her heart of Fire and her warrior status. She, like i said, is usually calm and collected, but is very easily angered when someone is committing ill against her loved ones. She's very loyal and protecting of her friends, once made. She can be a little untrusting of people sometimes, at first, after all she has seen humankind do over her time. She mostly hides the fact that she is an immortal from people, since she and her family have been treated very badly once people found out about them. She likes helping people, and is a firm stander in mercy. She hates to kill, even as a warrior, but will do so to save a life. History: Iyasis was left by her family at birth with a large temple of monks on a planet called Sakora. She was taken because she and her twin sister together made up half of a spirit that could lead to the Apocolypse. To avoid the prophecy coming true, her eldest brother Serenth took her away, giving her to these monks. The prophecy, in short, was that Peace and Destruction would bring upon the end of the world. Iya's sister Sagira was the embodiment of Destruction for this prophecy, and the spirit of Peace was split between Iyasis and her twin sister Kiara. So, Serenth thought if the Peace spirit was separated, the prophecy would not come true. So Kiara grew up with the family, and Iyasis was dismissed. So there in the temple forest she grew up in the safety and bliss of a sacred forest and temple, learning everything she knows from the monks. A vast majority of her teachers were mortal, so Iya had to bear the weight of immortality and watch as they slowly died. But the monk who cared for her more than any other was also an immortal, Iyro Halaria, who helped her move on. After a few thousand years, Iyasis was given her Bonded Sword and set out to become a warrior. She moved around battalion after battalion all over Sakora for most of her life. In doing so, she mastered many of the arts of war. Then she finally returned to the monks and stayed for another few hundred years, honing her magicks and becoming a Fire Mage. Then she left for the last time, as she finally set out to find her true birth family. It didnt take her long, for she stumbled upon Kiara. Kiara took her to the rest of the family, which consisted of 5 brothers and Sagira. And so now she lives with them, but often wanders for no reason, particulary in forests. ~~~~~~~ Name: Kasumei (kawh-soo-may) Gender: Female Race: Dragon child Age: 13 Height: 5' 3'' Hair: long, silver-white Eye color: Sapphire Blue Weapon: white sword, one her of most vital channelers of power (see pic below) Armor: none Commonly used Spells: Dragon Fire: summons her familiar's power through the sword and blasts heavy amouts of white-hot dragon fire through it Illuminate: Calmer spell; illuminates her sword with a steady white glow to light dark places Dragon Scale: Hardening her body and the air around her as a shield against enemies Sister Chant: calling dragon spirits to aid her in battle or trouble True Form: Kasumei has a dragon form within her, which she can release to manifest her body. Even unmature, this form is obviously extremely powerful. In human form, her magick is strongest and her phyical power is weak. In dragon form, it is vice versa. Her dragon form also isnt fast at all, and the belly is vunerable. This form also has a hard time against long-range fighting. So an attack with great speed or great distance would cause a lot of damage in this form. Her dragon form in appearance, is a young dragon, considerable smaller than adult dragons obviously, white in color. Her eyes are the same color as her human form, and she wears a golden collar-breastplate around the base of her long neck. Strengths: Kasumei is very powerful in magick despite her small size. She is very fast and very clever. She doesnt let anything get in her way when she's out to do something, even emotions. Weaknesses: Where she excels in magick, Kasumei is weak physically. Without her magick, she is just short of helplessness, save for her speed. Also, without her sword, she is considerably weakened. From tragic childhood events, Kasumei is also deathly afraid of fire, thus vunerable when in contact with it. Personality: Kasumei is usually serious, but is not afraid to smile. Though so young, she speaks as if she as lived for centuries, inheriting some of the Wisdom of the Dragons. She doesn't easily make friends, and spends most of her time alone with her familiar, Luminar. (the dragon in the pic below). She's competitive, and determined. She's very set on proving herself, not so much to others, but to her dragon ancestors, and to herself. To prove that she is not just a half-breed mistake. She spends little time around others; mostly just alone with Luminar. Appearance ---> ![]() Usually is wearing this white dress, and the black ribbon choker necklace, even in battle. Occasionally wears a silver cloak when she needs to carry her sword with her. Otherwise she simply calls it to her hands magickally when she needs it. Luminar is her guardian, and her only friend. He has been with her since her birth, and at her side is where he will remain throughout their immortality. History: Kasumei was born from a half-dragon half-elf father, and an exiled dragon 'princess' for lack of a better word, mother. Her parents ran away from their dragon realm to have their child, knowing that she would not be accepted, being born by such an unholy union. They fled to an outer desert, where Kasumei was born in the middle of the night. They named her Kasumei, for the moonlight, that seemed to hang around her. There the small family stayed for the first year, until the dragon armies came for them. The dragons, in human form as well as true, came bared with weapons, and fire. Everything the family had built, and everything they had spent creating in that year, was set to feed the hungry flames. These sights, and the sounds of screaming, running.. marching, have scarred Kasumei, instilling her with a great fear of fire. The dragons didnt stop there. They killed Nahrana, Kasumei's mother, and even her father, Brytalisys. But on Nahrana's last breath, she sent a desperate cry to an old friend of hers, who was still young, but had helped her many a time. It was Luminar. He answered her call, and obeyed her order to take her daughter to Earth, and watch her until she knew the dragons would end the hunt for her. Luminar quickly turned the frightened and confused Kasumei away just in time to not see the dragon's savage and bloody murders of her parents. "Go, child. Mommy has to go now... dont cry... Go with him, he'll protect you... like i never could... I lov--" her mother's last message was cut from her throat by a blood-soaked maw of a dragon. Luminar would not let Kasumei turn around when her mother didnt finish, but rushed her away to a nearby portal. And so Luminar has stayed faithful to Nahrana's orders and to Kasumei herself, ever watching over her, and helping her understand her powers and making it through her abnormally long life as a dragon child. She is still young, and is only beginning to realize the pains of such long life. To this day, the dragon child barely remembers what happened that night, but just remembers fire, and her mother's voice fading away. She tries to shut it out as best she can; crying now will change nothing. She remains in hiding, though she doesnt quite realize this. She already ever questions Luminar, so again, she doesnt even know that she is in hiding. And this way she shall remain until Luminar sees the dragons move on, or forget... |

Re: Character List
Seeing everything that everyone has, I feel kinda outclassed. Oh well, mine is to be developed over the course of time anyways.
Name: Lamalas Age: 17 Race: Vetalykn Sex: Male Hair: His hair is a shade darker brown. The hair is fairly long, but but it doesn't reach the shoulders, so it's not that long. Extending to the base of the neck, and some stray hairs covering the eyes, it is quite messy and unkempt. It also has a gleam to it, for some reason. When he was first found, though, his hair was of a whiter shade, which dissapeared upon the morning of the next day. Eyes: Hazel, though, when found, they were white slates. Weight: 210 Lb Height: 6'1" Weapon: Nodachi-Tusu' kake. A keepsake of Lamalas father figure, he will never lose, nor replace this sword. This is a very large blade. Due to it's size, normal men can only wield it with two hands, but because of Lamalas 'uniqueness', he can weild it one handed, though it tires him far easier then it would using it with two. The metal is unknown, but extremely rare, as it was found in the bowles of Death Mountain. How it was obtained, Lamalas was not told, but he knows that it was forged by a great swordsmith, so the quality is absolute. The blade is silver in color, with a blood groove going down the center. The hilt is wrapped in black, with a small, red gem at the end. At 5'6" for the blade, it is a formidable weapon. Armor: Nothing Strengths: Lamalas is a skilled swordsman. Training since his young years, it's been his life to follow the way of the blade. Because of his training with his large blade, he also gained a good stamina, so wearing him down takes awhile, seeing as he's had to make sure he can last in battle. He can also use his blade at astonishing speeds, though, he rarely does, for it drains more energy. Along with this, he's much stronger then an average person, allowing him to move much more, and carry much more. Weakness: Because of his nature, he cannot lie, at all. This could be bad, seeing as sometimes, the truth is not what needs to be heard. He also becomes docile, and sympathetic when he sees someone in need, which could be used against him. Unlike many people, he has no fear of monsters, except one. Redeads are the only creatures that would make him shudder, though the fear quickly passes as it comes toward him. Skills: Quick Strike:If Lamalas' blade is sheathed, he can reach for it, and bring it out, swinging it at a quick speed, despite it's size. It's usually a surprise attack, so unless it's the first move in combat, it's useless, unless the person is unable to stop the force of the sword. Wave Sword:Lamalas will quick off of the ground, entering a spinning motion. After spinning twice, he will come back around with his sword, slamming it into where his enemy is/was. Should he miss, the impact makes a small tremor, which could make the enemy lose footing for a moment. Lightning Blade:Lamalas' first magic skill is used in conjunction with his blade. Very simply, it begins sparking, and lighting envelops the blade. The duration is short, but it increases the blade's strength by 2, allowing him to deal much more damage then normal. Rift:Lamalas second magic skill is purely defensive. It cannot stop anything physical, but it is used to stop, or lessen the effect of magic against him. This is his only defense against magic. Parry:Lamalas has mastered defense, and he could parry an enemies attack for hours, if need be. Though, no battle will probably last that long. And thanks to the material in his blade, he won't be hurting it. Three Stage Attack:Very simply, once an opening appears, Lamalas will initiate a three staged attack. First, horizontal slash, then upward diagonal. Lastly, a strong downstrike. Spin Attack:Lamalas doesn't quite know where he learned this. He just knew it. Very simply, he will enter a defensive position, and suddenly releash his energy like a tornado. Combined with magic, this becomes a deadly wirlwind of electricty. This can also be preformed in the air. Feet of wolves:Lamalas cast a magic ability on his legs, which release all pain, and renew them. On top of that, it also will allow him to run much faster. The duration is decent. More abilities will come with the passing of time. Most importantly, those he will unlock that lie deep withen his soul. Appearance: Lamalas is clad in a black outfit. It is much like a tunic, but the lower section differs greatly. As it reaches the waist, and decends slightly, it splits, and goes down to his ankles. Around the back, it has a slit at the very back, making it resemble a coat. The sleeves of the upper half are also quite long. He has a white undershirt and pants underneath his outfit. A leather strap goes across his body, with the scabberd of his blade attached. The way it is connected to the strap allows it to move from it's place, allowing Lamalas to draw it easier. He wears commoner boots and gloves, alogn with a belt. His face is generally calm, devoid of emotion, but he smiles often. On his back, which is hardly seen, unless battle has destroyed his clothing, is a symbol. It faintly resembles a V, with various markings around it. Most prominantly is two parts extending from the sides, resembling wings. Around his neck is a pendent, with the Triforce engraved withen the gem. It is valuable, and he never takes it off. Personality: Lamalas is quiet, but with a big, just heart. He doesn't talk much because he knows that sometimes it's best not to talk, except with his blade. When he does, he tries to make sure it is not foolish, and what he says has a meaning and some worth. He hates evil completely, and will not stand for it. When meeting someone, he makes sure he knows their allignment before continuing on. He also has a thing for those in need, and will stop to help anybody, but should you betry his trust to this, he will remember it for all time. When battle comes, he is skilled and calculating. If facing a magic user, he will make sure to conserve his magic for his Rift ability to lessen their blows, and should it be a fighter, he will pour his magic into his blade, conjuring electricity. He, however, is not aggressive, unless an opening arises. He parries much, until his opponent makes a mistake, allowing him to strike. When dealing with normal people, he is courtous, and if they ask a favor, he will do his best to help them. Though, if the subject ever arrives about him, he shys away. He also seems to be looking for something at all times, but what it is, no one knows. Biography: Lamalas is an enigma. His race, the Vetalykns, are even more mysterious. What is known is that Lamalas arrived in front of a well known knight, and swordsmith at the age of three. Where he came from, no body could ever determine, but it happened sortly after the destruction of some towns in another nation, caused by moblins. When found, he had a cut across his forehead, which swelled. Later, the deteremined he had suffered a concussion of sorts, which is the reason for his memory loss about the event. But, if he had came from one of the destroyed villages, how did he even make it this far into Hyrule? It was many leagues, and he appeared far too quickly then any boy could treck that, and how he would've avoided monsters is unknown. He was raised by the master knight, who gave him his blade, Tusu' kaka, and taught him to use it once he was big enough to carry it. The man was astonished at how fast he developed his skills, and eventually called him his son. However, this happiness was not to last. After his foster father was sent to a war far off, Lamalas recieved word that his father figure had fallen in battle. In his grief, he ran away, and hid in the forests nearby. While there, he, by chance, came across a Great Fairy. She pitied the boy, and took him in for a time. Teaching him various things, including stuff about nature, and the history of the world, she also taught him about magic, blessing him with the ability to use it. To her surprise, it came quite naturally, and he soon developed to spells that would aid him. After spending six years with her, he told her he had to leave. Before he did, she blessed him, and told him someday, he would find what he seeked. Lamalas was perplexed, for he had nothing he was after, but she said no more, and vanished. Now 13, he decided to return to Hyrule Castle. Things had changed, but he remembered it mostly. His first order of business was to visit his old home, and upon finding it, saw it was looted. Many an artifact resided here at one time, trinkets and trophies of war his 'father' collected. Enraged, Lamalas tore the house apart, but stopped himself before hitting what was left. Knocked out of it's hiding place during his rage, he saw a small pendent. It was belonged to the man that raised him, for he had seen it before. As he gazed into it, he saw a holy symbol appear withen the core. It was a symbol of the Triforce. Upon seeing it, he had remembered what he was told about it, and it's powers. He quickly snuck into the temple withen the city walls, and began teaching himself to read as he examined scrolls. After determining what the Triforce was, and what it could do, he knew it could solve his problems. If he could find it, not only could he bring back the man who raised him, but he could also find out what he was. He knew though, many died on the quest for this golden power, and many went mad, and even turned evil. He pledged himself not to follow that path, and sat out, leaving Hyrule for four years, honing his skills. When he returned, he was ready to begin. He didn't know where to start, but he would figure out. With the Tusu' kaka at his side, and the Pendent around his neck, he could not be stopped. However, he still has yet to learn of the terrible power that lies withen his flesh, with the key lieing withen his birth mark on his back. It will all be revealed over the course of time. |

Re: Character List
Approved by: Ranarath
Name: Crystal Age: 143 Gender: Female Race: Reploid Hair: Blue. Eyes: Sky blue Height: 5'5 Weight: 201 Ibs Appearance ![]() Personality: She acts a little childish some times, but she tries to act mature at others. She is easy to make angry or upset. Though she is a reploid, she acts human, but has few emotions. She never cries, she wasn't programed to have those kind of emotions, but getting mad, she cannot help. She always tries to help humans that are in danger. Weapon(s): She uses chackrams for her weapons. The blades glow an ice blue color, and their element is ice. They have a futuristic look to them. Her creator gave them to her, so they are important to her. Her creator also gave her a buster gun, that she uses allot of the time for long-range combat. Armor: None Skills: Crystal Shards, Celestial Ice. Crystal Shards: Crystal will flip into the air once, and when she lands, two shards of crystal will appear in front of each chackram, and fly in the direction they are facing. (Only able to be used with chackrams) Celestial Ice: Crystal throws her chackrams in the air, and while they are in the air, she crouches, and pushes her hands to the ground, creating ice in the direction she faces. (Only able to be used with chackrams) Weaknesses: She hates to watch people suffer, and can't stand it. She loves her creator, even though she has already died. Any elemental attack is pretty much a weakness, other then ice, and water. Fire is the strongest element against her. The crystal on her head is her weakest point, if destroyed, she would die. Strengths: Ice is her elemental strength, water isn't very effective. She can handle being hurt a little, she doesn't mind pain, she mostly ignores it. Watching her enemies die in battle isn't her weakness at all, especially if they are mavericks. History: "She'll be awake soon." A woman said, walking into the room. Crystal blinked her eyes as she began to sit up. "...?" The woman smiled, "I see, Crystal. You suprised me a little, how fast you responded." the woman said, as she began to walk to her. Crystal turned over, and sat down on the bed, with her legs hanging from it. She looked confused, and tilted her head a little. Looking at the woman, she gave her a rather confused look. The woman chuckled. "Don't worry. I am a scientist, by the name of Siana." She smiled, and looked at Crystal, "I created you." Crystal opened her eyes widely, and looked at Siana. "My..mother?" She asked curiously, looking at Siana. Siana chuckled, "Call me what you like." she said happily, she sat down next to Crystal and smiled. "We'll need to run some personality tests, and things like that, if it doesn't bother you?" Crystal shook her head, "No, its alright. I can handle it." she said, looking at Siana. Siana smiled. "Very well then, can you please fallow me?" Crystal nodded, and the both got up, and walked to a different room. Crystal sat down, at a table with two papers laid on it. "Those are the tests, the pen is right next to the papers." Siana said, she sat down across from Crystal and watched her as she filled the papers out. After Crystal finished, Siana looked over them quickly, and smiled. Her personality seemed to have fit perfectly for the weapons she was going to soon give her, and she skills she had programed her with. "I want you to take these weapons, you can turn them into chips, and put them away any time." She gave Crystal a buster gun, and two chackrams. Crystal nodded, and took them. She placed them on the table, then pressed a button that was on top of the gun. She looked at it, as it turned into a chip. She took the two chackrams, and pressed a button on each, they also turned into chips. WARNING, WARNING, WARNING! "What the!? They're attacking, run, Crystal!" Siana shouted. Crystal shook her head, "Not without you!" she shouted, grabbing the chips and putting them away, she took hold of Siana's hand. She began to run, with Siana behind her. They had gotten into a truck, and Crystal drove them to Area Zero. "...Crystal, why did you do that? You could have died." Siana said, looking at Crystal. Crystal shook her head, "I don't care." she looked at Siana. Mavericks surrounded them, they had obviously fallowed them from the lab. Crystal took the chips of her chackrams, and turned them back into charckrams. "Get away!" She shouted, taking her chackrams, she threw one at one of the mavericks, and it returned to her. But there were too many, and they shot Siana. "NO!" Crystal shouted. She shook her head, and looked at the mavericks. "I'll kill you...ALL!" She yelled, and turned the chackrams back into chips, she then took out the buster chip, and turned it back to a buster. The mavericks began to shoot, but a Relploid dashed in at that time, holding a beam saber, he slashed them all in half. Crystal looked at the Reploid, but didn't have time to say a word, before he left. ----- "...Mother, I promise, I will avenge you." Crystal said, walking down a path with her eyes closed, her hair blew in the wind. She walked to the lab that was up ahead. The scientists that lived after the attack on the lab she was created in, fled to a different lab. When she got to it, she opened the door and looked around. One of the scientists noticed her. It was the reploid Siana had created. "Crystal, you survived." He said, walking over to her. Crystal nodded, and looked at him. "I need to know about mother." She said blankly. "Oh, Siana? She was wonderful...she wanted you to be special, so she created you to be different from other reploids." The scientist replied. "I see...I will come back later, sometime." Crystal said, turning around to walk out. "Very well then...anytime you like." The scientist said, just before she left. Crystal walked back down the road, heading to Area Zero. |

Name: Kaede Eriko
Age: 14 Race: Human, Japanese Sex: Female Hair: Cropped short and black Eyes: Watery grey-blue Weight: 54 kg Height: 5’ 3” Weapon: Long, honey-coloured wooden staff adorned with a lumpy, uncut crystal at the tip. Strengths: Kaede isn’t physically strong, but her intelligence and arcane skills are what make her stand out. Also, Kaede is scared of almost nothing. Weakness: Kaede is the weakest person she knows. Her frustration at her physical abilities can overwhelm her at times – she tries so hard to improve them – which make her temperamental and moody. Also, she has a very soft spot for animals. Very soft. Skills/Magic: Kaede channels natural energies through her body and turns it into solid things. The crystal at the top of her staff helps to control this power, as when unbridled it could destroy her. Kaede is very young, and understands little of the magic, but can do a few major spells that work very effectively. Appearance: Kaede isn’t gorgeous, but her almond shaped eyes and creamy Asian skin add an attractive semblance to her appearance. Her short black hair is cut short, as to be out of her way, and involuntarily flicks up at the ends. Kaede’s small nose is countered by large lips and a sharp chin. Her small and plump (or as she likes to call herself, ‘petite’) frame holds almost no muscle, and allows her to be steady, which is useful for holding such a long staff, as light as it is. Kaede hates the tight kimono which her family encourages her to wear, and instead usually wears a breezy silk robe in the same style as the kimono, but much looser. Her favourite colour to wear is gold, and in that fashion wears gold jewelry too. Personality: Kaede can get very angry at specific times, and is affected greatly by peer pressure. When she sees animals being abused, or when people tease her about her bodily weakness, Kaede sees red. This is very bad for the power she wields, because a part of it is directed by emotion, and a few choice bullies have run home with singed eyebrows. But her quick-to-anger nature is offset by a kind, intelligent and level-headed side that emerges in the direst of times. When Kaede is alone (as not to give people the impression she is weak by nature too), she steals away to the mountains to spend time with the wild animals, that seem to be attracted to her. Biography: Kaede has never stood out much from the people her own age. Growing up in a traditional Japanese family in the heart of Hokkaidō, she grew accustomed to the cold climate and thusly isn’t bothered by cool weather. Her father used to lightly beat her and her three sisters when the played up, but loved them deeply all the time. It wasn’t uncommon for fathers to treat their children this way where Kaede came from. It didn’t change her love for her father either. She was the second youngest daughter of Hitoshi and Masumi Eriko. The family was naturally wealthy, being one of the nobler houses of Japan. Hitoshi conducted the business of his land and the surrounding village in a large ikke, or house, in the middle of the village. The actual household Eriko was at the north tip of Hokkaidō, amongst the mountains. Kaede and her sisters Yukiko, Ume and Misaki used to play in the snow every day of winter and in the summer would visit the beautiful lake near the village. When Kaede turned ten, her father tried to send her to a form of a convent, to become a true Japanese lady. Young Kaede, who’d always hated tight kimonos and itchy make-up, threw a tantrum and blatantly refused to go. This was the first time Kaede’s natural magic began to show. As her father picked her to put her in the carriage, heat exploded from the child’s small body, making her father yelp and drop her. Kaede scurried away in fear and anger, to the tip of her favourite mountain. Her youngest sister Misaki, who was eight at the time, followed her up the mountain and comforted her as she wept. Misaki had not seen the magical outburst. Kaede was very confused at this time about her magical power. Her father had to go away on business for a few weeks, and Kaede used this time to explore the extents of her magic. Sometime during the week she found a staff lying in the snow outside her house. Kaede was mesmerized by the unusual crystal at the tip, albeit the fact that all her sister’s told her that it was ugly. Before her father came home that week, Kaede decided that the life set out for her wasn’t what she wanted, and so took as much money as she could carry, clothes, and her staff and prepared to leave Hokkaidō. She said goodbye to all her sisters, who understood her reasons for leaving. Yukiko, eighteen at the time, told her that their mother would understand and promised to help Kaede out whenever she knew where the girl was. Kaede made her way to Tokyo relying on her money, and once there found a magic-user like herself, named Nami. Nami taught her about her skills and provided a home for the girl. Four years later, Kaede Eriko is trained enough to make her way in the world. She welcomes any challenge against her power… --- Thankyou for reading!

Re: Character List
Approved by Ranarath. She, Ranarath, is incredibly great and brimming with awesomeness just for approving my character. :3
. _ . _ . _ . _ . _ . _ . _ . _ . _ . _ . _ . _ . Just a warning... She is fairly long. ^^;; ~ ~ ~ The Elite Illusionist and Tamer of Dragons Race: Seelie Faerie- Aristocracy- Trooping Race Explanation: Faeries are generally classified into two categories: the peasantry and the aristocracy; trooping and solitary. It is a distinction that separates their life styles and their ideals. It even caused some unforeseen things. (Read Bio for more info on that) The more humble of the two groups, made up of solitary faeries which descended from spirits said to control and manipulate nature to their every whim. Although they had some of the same powers as their more esteemed relatives, such as being able to become invisible and change shape, they were known to be more wild and unpredictable. The Faerie aristocracy was very different from their cousins. They were known as trooping faeries because they traveled long distances. They vary in attitudes and sizes and can be large or small, friendly or malicious. The second basic classification was between the Seelie and the Unseelie courts. The Seelie, or Blessed, Court was made up of those who were neutral, or rather kindhearted towards humans. Although the Seelie were the 'good' ones, they were just as unpredictable and often without morals, just like the Unseelie. The Unseelie were the 'bad' ones, those which acted malevolently towards humans. Sex: Female Age: 26 years old Hair: Purple, the color of amethyst Eyes: Blue, the color of turquoises Weight: 144 pounds Height: 5 feet 8 inches Weapon: None Armor: None Accessories: She prefers to have accessories over weapons and armor. Infamous Brooch of Illusions: This is a small brooch that she pins to her shirt, right where her heart is. It protects her in the sense that whatever illusion techniques or form of trickery that others use against her, she will see right through it with ease. Ironically, it absorbs her own illusion magic to function. When she doesn’t feel like wasting her energy on it, she simply takes it off. The brooch itself is silver and has many intertwining strands of silver, forming into a complex rose. There are little stones here and there, all multi colored and having a beautiful sheen to them. Silver Crown of Dolarneusa: This is more of an attack based accessory. It heightens her magical abilities ever so slightly, sometimes giving her the small edge she needs in a battle. It helps her perform some of her more difficult spells that she wouldn’t be able to accomplish otherwise. Like her brooch, it uses her illusion magic to work. Though she doesn’t like having her energy drained, like most anyone, she rarely takes off the crown for fear that her magic wouldn’t work without it. She’s come to rely heavily on some of her more complicated magic, thus become reliant on the crown. The crown is a thin silver hoop at about one inch in width. Its diameter is undetermined because it morphs to the diameter of the head it is rested on. It has next to no engravings on it except the name Dolarneusa in an extremely fancy handwriting. So fancy that, somehow, most people can’t read it. In fact, the only reason why Meghana can read it is because she was told what it said. All in all, it is a very simple accessory. Strengths: First and foremost, Meghana is a skilled magician. Her magical abilities dwarf even some of the most powerful of sorcerers. She never hesitates to use her magic seeing as it is her only means of attacking and defense. She knows many advanced spells and incantations. Not to mention that her ability to fool people with her magic is unlike any other. A rather large advantage, in both the literal and figurative sense, that Meghana has is her dragon, Mindgleam (whose profile is further down). With a single command, Mindgleam would come to her side and do her bidding to the best of its ability. All the strengths and weaknesses that Mindgleam has are basically also Meghana’s. This is possible only because of how connected they are and how often Meghana calls Mindgleam to her side. In general, dragons are quite obedient toward her. Another strength she has is an imagination. Her imagination helps her expand her magical abilities beyond what she normally would have been able to. She thinks that this is her most important asset. She knows that anything is possible if one is just to belief. If there is one thing that Meghana most looks for in someone when she first meets them, it is an imagination. She uses her imagination to write her own spells. (see abilities) Meghana’s interaction with others could be considered a strength. No matter what anyone says, she is not fazed. That does not mean she will never fight for what she believes in. It just means that she would not willingly show how bothered she is. Though, if someone asks her to fight, she never turns them down. She thinks of this as a strength as well because it shows that she does not fear anyone. Weaknesses: She has trouble discerning the difference between reality and her own dream world. Her frequent connection with all things that defy reality, has taken away her love for the real world. If she could, she would spend all her time in her own little dream world, where nothing would affect her. She’s nearly lost all ties with reality several times. Her physical strength leaves quite a lot to be desired. But she finds that she doesn’t need a weapon if she has a grand enough imagination. Still, she can’t deny that she is quite vulnerable to brute force and the likes. She doesn’t believe in carrying around weapons or shields for the excessive extra weight and rather carries around accessories. This leaves her without anything to use for blocking purposes or to use immediately in combat. Still, she doesn’t mind. She thinks that this weakness defines her and she doesn’t plan on getting a weapon or armor any time soon. Another problem with her style of fighting is her attire. She feels like battle clothing is overrated and such, doesn’t wear the usual more movement friendly clothing. She wears what she feels like wearing, even if it means that it gives her a slight disadvantage. Abilities: All of Meghana’s abilities are associated with her mind and creativity. She merely focused all of her energy and mind on the single thing she is imagining or hoping for into her fingers. The only way that she can use her powers is to use her mind to create the words in the air, though occasionally on the ground to be a bit more discreet. Her mind simply materializes the words into the air. The text describes what she wishes, occasionally in rhyme, but always it is written by herself, for she is a writer as well. The words appear as a multicolored purple, cursive-like sentence, or sentences… All depending on the complexity of what Meghana wishes to say or think. Not that there aren’t limitations to her abilities. Her abilities always have the boundary that whatever she wishes to happen, Meghana must have some form of compensation for it. She cannot cast a spell without the materials to follow through with it. Though, she often carries around what is required for some of her more commonly used enchantments and illusions. Simplistic Twist: This is her simplest incantation, as implied by the name. What she needs is whatever she wants to twist to her own, supposedly more fitting, way. If she wants to make a stick into a sword, she does so. It’s simple, but it is effective. Due to her lack of physical ability, she stays away from creating weapons. Yet, as with all of her attacks, she mustn’t try to create something that expends all of her magical energy. If she tried to make something large out of something of miniscule size, than it would use more of her energy, leaving her tired. Unlike her other attacks, this is normally not an illusion. In this one, she actually uses all of her skills as a magician. Holy Blessed Trickery: In order to use this spell, Meghana needs to have some item pertaining to religion or that has been made holy. She comes up with a rhyme or paragraph that has to do with what she wishes and how it has to do with what she plans to do, and then, quite simply, she creates an illusion making it seem that it is so. Though it must be within her magical and physical limitations. She does not have an endless amount of energy. Hoax Energy Protection: Anything durable or remotely rough is needed for this ability. It makes whatever she is using, seem like it has become a rugged shield, allowing nothing penetrate it. In reality, it is another one of Meghana’s complex illusions, but often times, it works quite well. Most people, unless trained to detect such magicks, are very easily fooled, therefore, she is not attacked. Image Phantom: With this, the illusionist needs a photograph. However meaningless it is, a photograph is required. What she does is, once again, come up with her own original spell of sorts, and then infuses her magic into the photograph, making whatever is in it come to life. Though the larger the object is, the more magical energy she is using. If she wants to bring a rabbit to life, it won’t make her nearly as exhausted as bringing, say a building. An inanimate object, such as a building, may come to life, though it all depends on how much energy Meghana decides to put into it. Delirium of the Spirit: What is required for this is occasionally too hard to come by, so many times, this move is unattainable. All that is needed is information. Yes, information. This information must be about her opponent’s history or life. Using this data, Meghana makes it so that whatever emotion or images that this person felt in their times of need or depression, then they relive it. When she can do this, she sometimes doesn’t. She feels that a warrior is better left unscarred, but when she must, she does. It can leave people sad and grieving for a while. Sorceress’ Cascade: For this, some kind of liquid is needed. She uses her incantation to make it seem that the liquid is encasing everything around it, often times creating a sense of panic among the people experiencing it. It is completely an illusion, just made to fool her enemies. Though, often times when she over does it with the magic, she may create it so that she actually IS encasing all around her with liquid, the liquid varying of course. This requires a lot of energy, which may leave the sorceress tired. Appearance: This witty magical girl's narrow eyes are the color of turquoises. Her long, wavy, fine hair is the color of amethysts, and is worn in a complex style, each strand being intertwined into countless thin braids which flow down her back, only contributing to the wavy texture of her long locks. She has a graceful figure and moves more like a liquid than anything else. She has long, strong legs, but by no means burly. Rather, they are elegant and so much so that they nearly demand attention. She has long, thin arms which have never felt the weight of a sword or weapon. Her hands are unscarred and unaffected by nature and weapons alike. They have a thin frame, as does everything else about her. Her nails are round and painted a light blue. Her face has a diamond shape with plump pink lips and rosy cheeks. She has a small fine nose and thin eyebrows. Her ears are small and slightly protrude from the sides of her ears. She is not cute, or pretty, but rather gorgeous. She has a regal air about her. Everything she does with absolute confidence and poise that she is regarded as a beauty in herself. Her posture can easily be mistaken as perfect, but Meghan really doesn’t try. She was just raised to be proper, giving her a quality that some people lack. She seems to flow instead of walk, as though reality bends to her every wish. She wears a very flowing dress like outfit. It is all the same pattern and cloth, which can be found here. It has a low V-neck line and no back, showing her pale skin. It shows her shoulders completely, making it seem like there are no sleeves, but the sleeves are not attached to the main garment. They are actually separate pieces strapped down by gorgeous pieces of lace. The sleeves are lengthy and flowing. They reach from her elbows down to the tip of her fingers. There are two thin straps of cloth that wrap around her neck, going straight down the sides of her back to her skirt. The skirt is connected to the first piece of her out fit with a plain black belt. The skirt is long, layered, and reaches to just below her knees, having a one inch long border of lace. She wears knee-high multicolored stockings, reaching down to tight fitting, long, white leather boots. She wears the Infamous Brooch of Illusions over her heart and the Silver Crown of Dolarneusa placed elegantly around her head. Also, contrary to popular belief, not all faeries have wings. Meghana is one of those few without wings. And, now... presenting... AN ABSOLUTELY WONDERFULLICIOUS DRAWING OF MEGHANA! Done by the ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT HitokiriChibi. :3 ![]() Personality: The illusionist is a very imaginative person. If there is an abstract solution to something, she thinks it up. What’s more, due to her natural ability to morph reality, she often times finds that her imaginary world is much more satisfactory than the real world. For the most part, Meghana is a very introverted person. She’s by no means shy, but most often she is found reciting rhymes of her own design, completely isolated from the real world. She does love altering reality to make people see but a glimpse of the world she covets. Due to her consistent ventures into her mind, where all the peaceful and occasionally harmful thoughts reside, nothing truly surprises her. While she may be considered fearless, she does have her share of worries. Then again, who doesn’t? Still, there isn’t much she is afraid of. Meghana can’t really be considered a fun loving person, considering she always has fun in her mind. Everything that brings her joy, she merely thinks it up. Therefore, the real world doesn’t bring her much value. When she fights, she normally finds it boring and even exhausting of her willpower. Not meaning she’ll give up. She’s rather competitive, seeing that in her mind, she is wonderful and unsurpassed. This does not make her egotistical, but she does have an ‘I’m better than you’ air about her. She likes meeting new people because, to her, these are just more characters in her life that she can manipulate to make the plot work. She considers that she is writing her own life with everything she does but that the world in her head, determines everything she does. That being said, she does not believe in a god of any sorts. Meghana feels that she can do whatever she wants and she’ll pave her own pathway through life and through the intricate stories she tells herself. Though, speaking of stories, she rarely trusts anyone enough to let them listen to one of her complex tales. If she does trust someone enough, she may even let them glimpse into her mind by telling them a tale or two. To tell once she accepts someone, it can be determined by whether or not she’s told them about herself and if she’s told them a story or two. She does not mind demeaning people or fooling them. She wouldn’t be much of an illusionist any other way. She ridicules her foes quite often and teases them to no end with some of her simpler illusions and abilities. When it comes to the ever popular subject of love, Meghana finds herself to be indifferent. If she were to find the perfect person for her, than so be it. She isn’t looking for anyone, and as far as she’s concerned, no one is looking for her. This is one of those few areas of her life that she’s really willing to not try to make her story change. If it happens, she’ll accept it. Being an aristocratic Seelie, she is kind toward humans. Yet, unlike some of her kin, she is slightly less unpredictable. Though with her powers, she is always looking for new and exciting ways to surprise her foes. When something concerns her dragon, she becomes extremely overprotective of it, considering that her dragon has become nearly part of her. They share thoughts and feelings, she can’t let anything happen to Mindgleam for fear of harming herself. Dragons make her feel oddly at home. She has the ability to get along with them and tame them. She is very mature, despite being in her twenties. She’s very good at judging people for what they are. While not smart in the book sense, she is an exceptionally intelligent person. She hates it when people think of her as out of touch with the world. She considers herself well acquainted with the world, at least enough to know she doesn’t like it very much. Still, people telling her she is an escapist and doesn’t know anything about the world would just get her mad. The reason being, that she knows this, and doesn’t always like this about herself. Overall, Meghana is a quiet, respectable person. She seems very polite and not outspoken in the least, though once angered, getting out of her way would be advisable. She’s very long tempered and does forgive easily, just to get away from whoever she’s forgiving. Her patience leaves quite a lot to be desired, as she sees the world moving so slowly compared to the worlds in her mine. Meghana doesn’t care that many don’t know much about her, but as she travels and comes to know the world, she’s trying to break out of her magical shell. Still, until she comes to terms with the world, it is likely many wonders will escape her. Bio: Before coming to live in the realm that she is currently roaming, Meghan lived in the Realm of the Magic Wielders. More specifically, in the empire of Resaren, this empire had both Seelie and Unseelie Faeries dwelling there. Often times, this difference caused difficulties. This expansive imperium was recognized for its advanced art, literature and architecture. It was a very fanciful place, with some of the most unimaginable things. Unfortunately, it was devastated by a civil war, in which Meghana had quite an important role in, despite being so young at the time. This war took away many cultural things, but it was stopped before too much damage could occur. (Read rest of the bio for more information on that) She had a loving father, for the most part, her mother having died at the time of her birth. They lived together, though not always getting along. His very outgoing personality felt like somewhat of a pushy character in her book of a life. She considered him nothing more than that. Almost as though indifferent to her own family. When she was young, at about six years of age, a plague, known only as “Death's Agony”, overtook the empire. While many took this event as a tragic and devastating occurrence, those who look back on it, such as Meghana, while not remembering much, think of it as the way that Resaren became what it was. Without the plague, many advances in medicine and other fields would not have happened until later in the empire’s existence. Therefore, this cataclysmic event paved the way for the empire that Meghana knew and loved. It was during this time that Mindgleam came into the picture. Before her dragon arrived in her life, the illusionist remembers nothing, as though this connection was more important than the life she used to know. Not that there was much to being six year old. The rest shall be told in the typical tale sense, focusing around important events in her life. ~ Meeting Mindgleam ~ “Spread out your hands and close your eyes, then I may just give you a grand surprise,” the familiar voice of her father rang through Meghana’s ears, her eyes closed as she was instructed to do so. She felt something cold and metallic make contact with her palm and her face broke into a smile. The girl and her father were in their courtyard, enjoying another typical Saturday morning. Though today was a special occasion. It was not only Meghana’s birthday, but it was the day that her true nature would be revealed. “Daddy? What is it?” the six year old was hopping up and down joyfully. “You’ll see…” came her father’s teasing reply. “Alright… Open your eyes.” The young girl looked eagerly into her hand to see a small brand like thing. “What is it?” was her cross response. “It’s an emblem. You see? There is a little dragon in the center. That’s not all though… Look up.” Her father pointed up to the sky, with a bright smile. Above, there was a grand shadow, looming other everything underneath it. “Woah! What’s THAT?” asked the child, obviously caring more about this than the emblem in her hand. With a smile, her father answered, “It’s your present. A dragon.” “A dragon!?” the girl began to jump up and down, her eyes brimming with joy. The wind around her began to pick up, creating a great gust. After a few circles around them, the giant winged created landed but a couple yards away from the two Faeries. “Daddy, daddy, daddy! This is awesome!” “I was hoping you would like it…” the cheerful tone was now draining from his voice, for he knew what was about to happen next. “This dragon shall shape you Meghana… It shall make you your true self. I’ll probably never look at you the same way… But it is your time. Heh… Good bye, darling…” “Huh? Daddy’s talking weird talk!” “Oh… How I wish that were true.” With a whistle, he called the massive dragon over. It stomped its way through, its sparkling gray scales radiated in the sunlight. Its narrow eyes looked at the man, knowingly. “Meghana… This is Mindgleam… Once it touches you with its nose, your true self shall be awoken. You’ll fulfill what you’ve been destined to become… A dragon tamer.” “Is that what that tattoo was for? You know, the one on the back of my neck?” Her father raised an eyebrow, “Nothing escapes you, eh? Yeah… That’s what it was for.” The child smiled and said, “Will this be fun?” “Certainly. Well, for you. Most likely not for me… You see, I like you the way you are. Even if it isn’t what you’re supposed to be.” His deep eyes looked to the floor momentarily, but immediately he glanced back up, so as not to make his daughter feel as miserable as he was currently feeling. “Haha! Daddy, it’s okay. I don’t mind.” The girl squealed and ran up to the dragon, taking the emblem in her and pressing it against its nose, as though already knowing what needed to be done. A bright light shone throughout the courtyard and nearly sent Meghana off of her feet. Yet, she stood strong, making sure that her hand was not to waver. After a couple of seconds, she removed her hand, only to find that the emblem was no longer on her hand, but rather infused into the dragon’s nose. Her face was solemn, and the dragon’s eyes were wide and soulless, as though waiting for an order. Her father looked at her, tentatively reaching forward to place a hand on her shoulder, “Have you become a dragon tamer?” “Yes. I do believe I have.” Her tone was polite, strong, and oddly mature. “Though… Who exactly are you?” Tears began to fill her father’s eyes, not only for the joy of his daughter being a dragon tamer, but at the fact that his daughter was nothing like how she was before. That bubbly tone had left and that joyous smile was gone without a trace. Her memory was gone, a completely clean slate was left. “Something wrong, mister?” “Nothing… Nothing at all…” He said through sobs, “Call me… Daddy.” Meghana nodded, seeing what had occurred. “Very well, father. It seems that my memory has begun as a new story of my life… I wonder what happened to all of those chapters so long ago…” “Story? Chapters?” her father assumed a worried tone, “Are you okay?” “I’m perfectly fine… And this would be?” She pointed at the dragon. Once more her father could not hold back the tears. Anything she knew before the flash of light would be gone from her mind. “That’s your first dragon… Call it Mindgleam.” “Very well… I think I shall like being a ‘Dragon Tamer’…” A very serene smile overcame her face, her mind function at the speed of light to write the first part of her new life, “And with the brilliant flash of reality, my former self was no more. I am now a brand new individual, writing my life at mere three years of age. What wonders will the world show me?” What the girl didn’t understand was that in time, even a matter of days, she would realize that the world would offer her nothing that her mind could not provide with greater ease. ~ “Death’s Agony” ~ “I’m six years old, and yet my brain functions so rapidly. I write poems, literature, and find it effortless. And yet… Faerie nature escapes me. Could it be that this complex and torturous world pains me? But how can I say this when the entire world around me crumbles with a single touch? The plague has fallen. I only hope that Mindgleam and I don’t succumb to this infantile disease. Though my immune system does leave much to be desired… I must rely on Mindgleam’s strength.” “Meghana, when we walk outside, be sure to not touch anything. You never know where infected people have been.” Her father crouched down low, looking at her sternly. The young girl spoke oddly courteously, “I know father. I’m not one who touches people.” Her father looked off into the distance and added, “Or associate with them…” “What was that father?” He quickly returned his gaze back to her and spoke, “Nothing, nothing at all.” They began their venture through the city, seeing people lying against walls, slumped and sick. Others were bandaged to prevent further infection. Some were weeping, others seemed as though the life had been drained out of them, their eyes dull and opaque. “When will the plague pass, father?” Meghana asked, though usually she ignored the world, when it was in such a state, one couldn’t help but fear it. He gave her an awkward glance, but answered her question none the less. “We don’t know… I just hope that it does pass… And that all the medicine they are creating isn’t for naught.” They continued to walk down the crooked streets with grim faces. “I feel like writing a story about this.” “Don’t you always…” “What was that father?” She asked yet again, knowing all along what his snide remarks were. He shook his head and gave an apologetic smile. “Nothing, nothing at all.” “Very well…” She returned the smile, though all the while gathering all this animosity towards her father… ~ ~ ~ “I still cannot believe that the plague lasted two years… Well, nothing good comes without sacrifice, right? It is times like these where I question my own morals… Though the plague may be other, I can sense another trouble brewing. The Seelie and Unseelie are not getting along like they used to. Like this plague created a gaping hole in their relationship. I wonder what this means for Resaren… I can only hope that we haven’t gotten out of one dilemma only to step into another, worse one. Though I must say, things are also turning for the better. The disease has inspired many artists and writers to go where no other has before them. I eagerly await the results of this. Images of a utopia fill my mind…” ~ A Path of a Different Kind ~ “Father has become pushy. Not that I didn’t know this before, it’s just now he’s making it blatant so as the entire world may see it. He wants me to follow the path of the usual Dragon Tamer… I don’t feel that desire. At the young age of nine I know my life’s dream. I wish to be an illusionist. I’ve studied all of the books pertaining to this field of magic, and I think it suits me well. Though, with father, he won’t allow it. Something about dragon taming being my destiny. I don’t think that way. Illusions and such are what I feel is my path… I’ll train in both to please father… Yet my emphasis shall forever be on the hoaxes that full the illusionists’ power. With time, I’ll become Elite.” ~ Civil War ~ “Mindgleam, I was right!” the young girl exclaimed, “Civil war! Between the Seelie and Unseelie… The Trooping Faeries against the Solitary Faeries… The humble against the aristocracy! Isn’t it brilliant?” She turned to her majestic dragon, as though actually expecting a response. “I know, I know… I shouldn’t be happy, but come on! This is exactly the material I need to understand the Faerie’s mind and nature. Exactly what I’ve been lacking in my stories due to lack of interaction with my own species, and it falls right into my lap.” She spun around, facing the creature with a smile unlike any she’d had in weeks. “And guess what? I’ve been chosen to help the illusionists! Yes, I know I’m not an official illusionist, but I don’t care. I get to help. This is terrific... That is when you ignore the fact that the Unseelie are destroying a lot of valuable and advanced things…” -an unnumbered amount of months later- Meghana entered her house, happier than ever before. “Guess what happened today, Mindgleam?” The huge creature sat at the entrance just as it had every day after her return, at least since the young girl had been assisting in the war. “I helped. They said that my thesis on Faerie nature helped quite a lot. Something about coming to terms with the other side. I really don’t care, but it did give me an audience with many Elite Illusionists. We talked, and well, they thought I had much potential. I’ll start my training once the treaty between the Seelie and Unseeli is completed. I guess I should feel accomplished in the fact that they are attaching my thesis… And that I stopped the two kinds of faerie from completely destroying Resaren… But really, I only care about the chance to be an illusionist.” The faerie sat down on the floor, not caring about the fact it was dirty, “I seriously couldn’t be happier.” Within moments, Meghana was lost in her own thoughts, making up stories within the confines of her mind. -in a couple of weeks- “My training had begun. They say that I show much promise. They’re definitely taking into consideration that I stopped a civil war. Before long, I’ll be exactly what I’ve always wanted to be. Mindgleam seems happy for me. Or rather, I’ve made it seem happy for me. I’m still a skilled dragon tamer, but this path is more suitable for me. Someone with an imagination such as myself should not waste it in their mind.” ~ Elite Illusionist ~ “The initiation shall commence tomorrow. Of what you ask? I’ve become an Elite Illusionist. A title I can at last be proud of. I’ve been told that I’m the youngest to have become an Elite Illusionist. None other has been able to master such techniques at the age of 12. I take pride in that fact. My father tells me it is due to my training as a Dragon Tamer and my background as an aristocratic Seelie faerie. I blow his theory away. I made it through sheer talent and creativity. Speaking of father, he won’t be attending the ceremony tomorrow. He’s too proud to have a daughter that is an illusionist. I would just tell him to go to Hell… He’s become upset over my vocabulary too. Still, I’d prefer to think of my father as just one of those minor characters in the story that unknowingly affects the plot… Right now, I’m trying to ignore him. I’m focusing on the brilliance that shall be the ceremony. Tomorrow… My life’s goal shall be completed.” ~ The Beginning of the Rest of Her Life ~ “I’m leaving Resaren. Or, more accurately, the entire Realm of the Magic Wielders. Father has become terrible to the point of wanting to never leave my mind. After the whole fiasco where I officially became an Elite Illusionist, which took place over 2 years ago, he pretty much shunned me. He refused to consider me his daughter. Not that I mind. I stopped thinking of him as a father the day I became my true self. No matter, he doesn’t care that I am leaving, and I don’t care that he doesn’t care. We’ve become more than cold towards each other. As I have become cold toward the world. My mind is my friend… Yet as I think this, I realize this isn’t as it should be. Which is another reason as to why the Realm of the Magic Wielders had become more of a prison to me than anything else. I feel restricted within myself, but content at the same time. It’s an odd feeling, which I don’t all together like. I want to leave the faeries, both the Seelie and Unseelie. I want to leave the Dragon Tamers and Illusionists. This isn’t what I wanted at all… I wonder why it can’t just be like my dream world. Where everything is to my wish, completely blissful and perfect. No matter though. I’m going to explore, met people, and get away from this realm and its people.” Theme Song: Imaginary (FFX AMV) Meghana’s dragon Gender: Neither Race: Dragon Age: 652,879 years old Weight: 928 pounds Height: 11 feet Wing Span: 16 feet Personality: In a sense, Mindgleam has none. It feels what it is told to feel. Like a mindless slave. Strengths: Mindgleam is incredibly strong and skilled when it comes to flying. Weaknesses: It has a weak underbelly, and if it is in mortal danger, it cannot move unless it receives direct orders from its master. In this case, Mindgleams master is Meghana. If Meghana becomes incapacitated or injured, Mindgleam is like a punching bag, almost quite literally. Abilities: None, other than the ability to fly and spit fire. Appearance: This dragon's scales are a shimmering gray. It has an elegant and flowing body. On the end of its tail is an axe-like extension. This dragon has long, thin limbs with five digits on each foot that end in very long, sharp claws, each at about 6 to 7 inches. It has fanlike wings that stretch between its limbs. This dragon has a large, thin mouth, reaching from “ear to ear” or so to speak. Every tooth, other than the canine's, is about 3 to 4 inches, canines at about 5 to 6 inches. Its lips are incredibly thin, giving it a very wise looking smile. It has narrow mirror-like eyes that are a gorgeous and glossy silver. A mane of spines sprouts from the back of its head, trailing down to the ax extension on its tail. Flaps of skin allow it to completely close its nostrils. Two fangs protrude from its mouth in a very menacing fashion. On its nose there is an emblem of a dragon on it, representing the connection between it and Meghana. Bio: Meghana’s dragon has no recollection of what happened prior to its enslavement to its master and as far as it is concerned, it doesn’t matter. Its past has been completely erased now that it has a new master. After that, everything that Meghana has gone through, Mindgleam has gone through. Simply read Meghana’s bio to understand Mingleam’s past as well. Re: Character List
Approved by Ranarath, coolest person on the intarwebs.
Name : Thade Durgunian Benedicte Age : 172 Race : Vampire (Of the Shadowspire region) Sex : Male Firnune : Velvet Alignment : Neutral Hair : Sleek, short bottle black hair with long bangs that hang down to his neck. Eyes : Wine Purple Weight : 174 lbs. Height : 5’11 Weapon(s): Benediction : So named after its wielder’s last name, Benediction is more an amplifier of energy than a sword. The thin, seemingly flimsy blade is formed by strange metals that grow similar to ore around Jadame. Its appearance is of two blades that lie parallel to each other, thinning as it reaches out to strike an enemy. The hilt is of the same structure, with the handle forming a double helix; this is of a slightly different metal of the blade, allowing the user to concentrate magic through it. Verity’s litany - Used mostly through direct combat, the two parallel blades on Benediction grows wider and joins together, becoming one full blade. It also extends about 2 inches. The power of the blade is increased, though by doing this, Benediction looses most of its potential to concentrate energy. However, in exchange, benediction gains the effect of being able to dispel magic. Armour: Serendine’s Preservation – A mage known as much for his frailty of body as for magical prowess, Serendine of Freehaven built this leather armour to make the most of his strengths and the least of his weaknesses. While offering good use in defence, the leather provides bodily endurance and the ability to slowly recover energy lost in the process of spell casting. Strengths : Thade’s most notable ability, considering his vampiric heritage, is his enhanced speed and strength. In this case, he does not use these. Other than this, his dark magic has been pushed to the limit and in his later years he took it upon himself to practice swordplay. An experienced swordsman could disarm him in a moment, so he sticks to quick kills with necromancy when necessary. Viremorph : A small characteristic of his vampire blood, Thade transforms into a bat when he sleeps. This is entirely different to a healing slumber, which focuses on life threatening wounds and keeps the body in a humanoid form. Weakness : Like most vampires, Thade is susceptible to such things as holy water and crucifixes. He ignores all trace of superhuman tendencies he possesses, most likely another addition to his mysterious way of honour. Having gained the ability to use dark magic, light magic poses a far greater threat to him than it did before. Hand to hand combat is practically new to him, even though he does enjoy it more than black magic, so therefore overpowering him in that way would be much more effective. Resistances : Elemental magic seems to harm Thade less than the attacker would have imagined. If the spell is pure and untarnished by any outside influence (and if it is a focused attack) Thade will be hurt more than usual. The vampire’s mind and body are his secret sanctuaries, and attempting to harm them would be useless; he is utterly immune to all tricks trying to misguide the mind, particularly. Dark Magic : Taught by none other than Sandro, Guild master of the necromancer’s guild in Jadame, Thade has many necromantic spells at his disposal. The most notable is the ability to control undead and summon them, though the vampire has memorised a large array of other mysterious and devastating abilities. Drawn-Out explanation of Reanimation: The minions' strength will vary depending on who he is reanimating, and he has limits. He can only summon an undead from time to time; the spell has a recovery rate. Considering huge and strong beings have never really crossed Thade's path, he would not know if he could summon them or not, though it seems likely that it would take huge mental strain to summon something god-like. He also has limited control over them, as they are clumsy, dull-witted and literally without a brain. They usually follow Thade, though often very slowly and with uncoordinated movements. Depending on the amount of mana the vampire has stored, the monster may seem stronger than usual or less. (this also has a limit; If he was all-powerful, the creature he would be summoning would be at its prime (comparative to when it was alive) Though nothing beyond that. Otherwise, it would either deform or spontaneously combust from Dark Magic overuse. Past Summon experiences - Dark Elf peasant (female) - Human Peasant (male) - Naga - Naga warrior - Naga Queen (Slightly difficult to reanimate, though it lost it's ability to throw blades in the process.) - Dragon Hatchling - Centaur Warrior Vampire Ability : Thade has all the typical traits of a vampire, such as life draining, mistform, charming, hypnotizing (though to a lesser extent), and most importantly, regeneration. His skills as a necromancer have strangely reduced his vampire abilities to a dull skill instead of a deadly technique. Appearance : The most distinguishing feature about Thade is his face. His unique hairstyle, dark eyes and quaintly fanged teeth all add up to a look that would grant nightmares to even the bravest of men. His hair, blackest as night, hangs across his sides in long drapes, the bangs notoriously longer than the rest, with the left side reaching to his chin. His eyes are always open to alert, and they also serve the purpose of adding to his image. His fangs are abnormally small for a vampire, though he extends them whenever he wishes. A strange effect is that whenever his pupils dilate, so do his fangs shrink. Overall, his face is rather long and he has a squarely set jaw. Thade (as mentioned above) wears a stunningly crafted leather outfit coloured a deep blue. A beautiful diamond has been worked into the leather, just centimetres below the collarbone. The cuffs are laced with silver velvet, and the same material creates a lining around his waist, where a peculiarly placed flap is located. A flowing black cloak adorns his shoulders, almost a definite sign of a Shadowspire necromancer. His boots are crafted by the Alvarian dark elves of Jadame. These are made of thin, black chain mail. ![]() Accessories : Nightshade amulet- A creation of Thant, a guild master of the necromancer’s guild, this amulet allows vampires to stay in the sun for as long as they wish without burning or anything happening to them. The enchantment on it seems to be able to store mana in it also. Personality : It would be infinitely hard to evaluate Thade’s persona in a single word; to come close, one would have to describe it as surprising. His name, an anagram of death, has earned all kinds of terrifying tales across the land of Jadame and Erathia. His looks, enough to freeze anyone in their tracks, are merely a façade, as is his twisted history. Though cruel, sick and disgusting in a sense, Thade has a lighter side, though not so much that he would put another’s life before him. In most situations, he will spare the lives of children when he chooses to relive his boredom by going on a massacre. Women are useless to him. The female vampire seems equally strong to their race, and Thade’s revelation is that this should apply to the Human race also. Thade is also considered quite eccentric, and unusual. He has been known to build a manor with his own hands and used it, much like a dummy, to work his dark arts on. These quirks are one of the reasons that Sandro chose him as his pupil. He never laughs at anyone’s humour aside from his own. Anyone who laughs at this along with him Thade labels as shady. Biography : Please stop this… No. Get to your feet and fight, Whore.” The human female was battered, bruised, and generally in a bad way. Her dress was in tatters, blood leaking form the corner of her plump, red lips; though, despite her pitiful appearance, she was most likely picturing the man standing in front of her bare naked. The being in person frowned in sordid displeasure as he imagined this himself. The disgrace at his feet appeared to be inching away, dragging her already torn dress along in the dirt with her. The creature observing her was baffled; how stupid was she? In an instant, the lady was dragged back into the same position by invisible ropes and bound by the same magic that had done so. Thade bent down and placed his head alongside hers, his long bangs brushing against her heavily perfumed skin. “Your charges? Attempting to lure Thade into your own self-seeking desires. Now you regret your decision. Do you think that is enough?” The prostitute nodded frantically, a bead of sweat exchanging into the vampire’s hair. Thade sighed, almost sorrowfully. Slowly bringing his hands up to her face, he paused as the human flinched at the coldness of his touch. A strange, violet miasma seeped from Thade’s fingers, creeping upwards into the cavity’s of her nose. The vampire slipped his hand away from her, binging it up to his waist and lightly brushing it across his clothes. With one last look at the now demented human, he turned and started to walk, the city of burnt out lights behind him unimportant to his conquest. --~-- Thade was not always a cold-hearted vampire; something that would have been guessed, though not believed, by his victims and colleagues. The frightening student of Sandro was a peculiar child, though he never sought to harm anyone. Like always, it was influences that brought this upon him. Thade was brought up in the town of New Sorpigal, a town in the land of Enroth. This land was ravaged by monsters of all kinds and magical happenings, though it was brought on by the Ironfist of…Catherine and Roland Ironfist, the king and queen. After departing to Erathia to aid against a war with kreegans, extremely destructive and powerful demons, the land was left unattended. Therefore, they left their young prince Nicolai along with the captain of guards and good friend of the king, Godric. New Sorpigal was generally the quietest town in Enroth, and was a perfect place to bring up children. The only problem was a goblin fortress constructed not far from the town entrance that usually intervened in passing merchant caravans…And this was where Thade was brought up. Thade was an excellent school student. At this time, his parents were living in Erathia, a long way away. In fact, Thade had not seen them since he was four, having been taken away by the bank keeper of new Sorpigal. He was a close friend to theirs, and he had promised a peaceful childhood that was not like the war ravaged lifestyle of Erathia. His parents had originally christened him as Krandul, though after 10 he took a name for himself that appealed to him. Thade was intelligent and actually grew to be quite handsome by the age of thirteen, according to the girls closest to him. In fact, he found the company of females more exciting than that of boys, as when he grew older, so did his lust, and he made sure that it was satisfied. After a while, teenage Thade started to grow tendencies of high self-absorption and his lust grew to be more than just that; he wanted to know everything and he wanted the power to do everything. Ones closest to him think it as improper upbringing- Thade almost never saw his surrogate father as he was always busy with work. The tie between him and his adoptive father was lost when Thade turned 18. After his father had been taken by the goblins and imprisoned in their fortress, Thade thought it was necessary to rescue him. In truth, he wanted to observe these goblins and possibly form a treaty with them. Stories had been told that the goblins had very strange ties to much higher deities and races. Driven by this, Thade ‘borrowed’ an iron cutlass from the village blacksmith and assailed the goblin’s fortress. The goblins did not stand to reason and rushed him with unearthly growls as soon as he entered. His expectations ruined, he took the monsters by surprise, easily dispatching the leading guards and taking a key from one of their pockets. He crept through the weathered castle, taking note that the goblins were sleeping, and found a strange manuscript. It was thick, and the writing was illegible in most parts; the readable bits told of the danger of using dark magic, and that necromancy could let the wielder live forever… Thade forgot all about his past life and his ‘father’. Leaving new Sorpigal behind him without a trace, Thade travelled across the land of Enroth, searching for anyone or any clue as to how one could wield dark magic. He found in his travels that many sorcerers could wield it, though they were either unwilling or very unskilled in it. It had been three months when Thade crossed the border between Enroth and Erathia and came across the town of Nighon. The city was in fact separated into tunnels, and strange, dark creatures wandered the halls. Thade was mystified to see that many dark priests and necromancers took residence there, and was impressed by their power to hide from the outside world. Taking knowledge from select few of the wizards, he learnt to harness dark magic. He was still unsatisfied, though, and came to live in Nighon. It was not long before he was requested by an unknown council to meet them. When he walked through the giant set of doors that separated the council from the underlings, he was shocked to see that they were in fact skeletons, oddly garbed in mage robes. They explained that they were liches, necromancers who had forsaken their skin and flesh for immortality and extreme magical power. They suggested that he travel to Jadame and seek the counsel of Sandro, the greatest Lich in Erathia and Jadame. They provided him with a ship, under the control of a vampire crew. Thade experienced vampirism first hand when he went on a trip with the vampires. He became enticed with their enhanced senses and long life; in particular, a 19 year old vampire had captured his fancy. Eventually, he begged the captain to convert him to a vampire. Though puzzled as to why he would want this, he turned him and presented him with a nightshade amulet. By doing this, Thade ended up wooing the 19-year old vampire, who went by the name of Verity. At this moment in time Thade was 26 years old. By the time that they had arrived in Jadame, it had been three weeks. Thade and Verity were then madly in love and they proposed to live together. Leaving the vampire crew, Verity came with Thade and left the region that they had landed in. Unbeknownst to Thade, the two had been travelling deep into the Murmurwoods without them noticing. This holy sanctuary was host to Jadame’s temple of the sun, which had been newly built. Stumbling upon the local village where the temple was, they received an unwelcome greeting by the priests and clerics bustling about in the town square. Thade and Verity were instantly attacked with holy spells, severely damaging the two. Thade managed to dispatch a few acolytes while they were escaping, though in the process, his sword snapped and all that was left was the hilt. Covering Verity from attacks, Thade fled to the far corners of the woods. Tired, hurt and thirsty, the young vampire happened across a run down shack. Without hesitation he entered and found a soft bed, which he laid the wounded Verity on. After an hour of tending to her wounds, the door of the shack burst open and a strange old man walked over to him. Not bothered at the leats by the arrival, he explained that his name was Malcolmus and that he lived there. He was a skilled alchemist and sorcerer and brewed a potion that helped with Verity’s wounds. After doing so, the mage told them that eh was a former priest of the sun. He had abandoned his faith after discovering that they were all quite evil in the sense that all they did was doing foul acts of self worth under everyone’s noses. He also explained that they were at a ‘holy war’ with the necromancer’s guild of Jadame. Telling Malcolmus with his experience and how he wanted to get there, the old wizard took Thade’s broken blade and forged a newer sword. The hilt was apparently made of a strange Enrothian metal, and he himself created a blade of Jadamean ore. After the blade was complete, which had only taken two days; he presented it to Thade and gave it the name Benediction. The blade was separated into a double sword, and inscribed upon both blades were the rods: ‘Broken I was by corruption; by renewal I will exact vengeance and show the darkest Benediction.’ Taking the sword, he left with Verity without a final word to Malcolmus. Thade and Verity arrived in Shadowspire a month later. The appearance was foreboding; the ground was scorched black, a result of extreme magical release that had occurred on the same ground many years ago, and on top of a hill overlooking the entire village of twilight like a sentinel of evil was the necromancer’s guild. Thade took to meeting Sandro right away. The Lich was pompous, and for the most powerful Lich in Jadame, not surprisingly evil. He was, in fact, very proud of the power that necromancers wielded and regarded other mages as a laughing matter. Sandro marvelled at the potential Thade possessed and privately tutored him. All the while, Thant looked on and observed Thade’s endeavours with much interest. One night, Thade had returned to his manor at the base of the guild to find that no one was home. He turned to find a hastily scrawled parchment pinned to the oaken door. To my Dearest, Thant has sent me to consult with the mad necromancer Zanthora north of here. I am not sure why he is doing this, though I am scared of what Zanthora may be capable of. Nonetheless, if I do not return, I want you to have my nightshade amulet. I have imprisoned a fraction of my soul inside; if I return I shall obtain it into my soul once again. If I do not, keep it and know that a part of me will be with you always, and inside your blood. I love you. Verity Thade traversed across the skeletal filled plains of Shadowspire, slaughtering half of them and arrived at Zanthora’s lab. He did not get past her guards; skeletal dragons littered her laboratory and managed to disarm him with relative ease. Shocked at these new creations of Zanthora’s, he was surprised even when he was confronted by the mad necromancer herself. The mad woman needed no words. She merely threw Verity’s arm on the floor, followed by her mangled body. Thade recalled screaming over and over again before he blacked out. Recovering outside of the lab, covered in tar and grease, he had staggered back to Shadowspire and had informed Sandro and Thant about the incident. Thant hurriedly told him that Zanthora had sided with the priests of the sun and did that on their orders. Furious, mad with grief and blinded by the guild master, he pledged his life to the service of wiping the temple of the sun from the face of the earth. He imbued Verity’s soul fragment within his sword, granting it strange and destructive power. Thant had smiled in victory. Re: Character List
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (On a side note, this character was slightly inspired by the character "Assassin" from the game Diablo II - Lord of Destruction Expansion Character...so if it's too similar or anything I am more than happy to edit. And just to let you know it was inspired. That is all.) Isaku’s Profile. Name: Isaku (Pronunciation: i-sa-koo) Age: 13 Gender: Female Hair: Thin, long silky black hair down below her waist. When she’s in a fighting appearance it’s all kept back in two braids, and when she’s in a casual appearance she lets it down flow behind her back. Height: 152 Centimetres (5 Feet) Weight: 6 Stone (84 Pounds) Eyes: Purple Skin Colour: Skin Colour (As Japanese, White?) Race: Shanoki/Krori Alignment: Good Element: None (Sort of Darkness and Shadow) Companion(s): None (Unless you classify a shadow as a companion :|) Status: Coujai (Sort of like an Assassin or a Ninja) Language: Known to speak English, but her main language is Japanese apparently. Wearing (Appearance): A Black non-sleeved vest which is held on with a collar which goes up her neck. Downward she wears a tight pair of black pants, where at her knees have thin red material tied around it. And around her upper arms is coiled around a few times material which seems like bandages, down to above her elbows. (Drawn by me (Oh Lord, looking at it I just realised you can see my comics in the background ¬¬; )) Family: Unknown Quote(s): • “It wasn’t me who did it, they told me to…” • “Why is there such thing as love if there is betrayal, anyway?” • “It’s so dark…perfect…” • “Oops! Did I do that?” • “They will never see me coming…” Weapons: 1) Two Katars/Claws - Nothing special about them, she just uses two katars which are silver plated across the backside of the blade, when on the other side plated gold. The handles are nothing special either, plain black, worn out from battles. 2) Needles - Again nothing special, just needles which she throws. 3) Two Katanas - One silver and the other gold. Nothing special at all, just two steel Katanas. Weaknesses: • Isn’t strong at all, and her attacks are weak • Is a bit squeamish and naïve • Can’t use weapon attacks very well. • Sleeps more than the average person as needed, and when she does, nothing can wake her up besides herself. • Doesn’t know how to plan ahead very well. • Is really light, so she can get thrown around very easily. • Not much resistance to most attacks… • Falls into peoples’ ploys a bit too easily • Gets confused very easily. • Being a Coujai, which is somewhat similar to a ninja which is of the dark, light causes her body to feel a bit stiff and compressed, as if she was bound in a thick layer of high pressure air. • As one of the Coujai, when she’s hit in a certain spot on their body (Perhaps will be discovered later in the BA ) she gets a splitting headache, her body feeling like it’s on fire, and she starts to see illusions and everything looks inverted. Lasts for a few minutes.Strengths: • Insanely fast • Very good at martial arts and the such • Has a very good blockage skill against a few melee attacks. Can also dodge very well. • Has a very high spirited frame of mind, so most of the time while fighting she won’t really take it seriously, more sees it as “playing” in a funny way. • Even if she’s unconscious, she has an automatic sort-of defence thing where she uses her arms to block melee attacks, although she can do nothing against magic attacks. • Quite accurate and clever. • Has strong patience. • Likes to bluff a lot, to confuse her enemy. • Rarely gets angry, fearful or hesitant. • Once she starts attacking, it’s quite hard to get out of her cycle of attacks, as they are very fast. • Refuses to be bribed into anything. • Quite hard to knock her unconscious. Likes: • Sleeping • Friendly fights • Rainy days • Listening to people’s problems • Training • Talking • Martial Arts • Being around friends • More…but FIND OUT! XD Dislikes: • …you know what? I can’t think of anything at the moment, because she doesn’t really dislike things, except of course pain. Personality: One of those little chatty girls who like to talk a lot and share her mind and opinion, as well as socialise. Has a sort of “blank” expression and a mellow attitude, always with a smile on her face. Without really wanting to remember her past, as there is no real reason to have to remember it besides inner pain, she lives her life on, with no real reason, except to help people, and keep out of real trouble. She doesn’t really act serious whilst in any battles, which she tries to avoid getting into anyway. After a while she occasionally realises that she’s supposed to get serious during battles, but she’s not one of those people who get serious over things. She enjoys going on quests, mystery, and learning things she never knew before, and making strong friends. She would never give up on a mission she begins and never let a friend be lost. And to finish all this heart warming stuff, enforcing the fact that she will most likely fall for any traps and be tricked into many things, but no way would she let herself be bribed into things, is her somewhat stubborn side, but not a bad one, surprising to say, if you know what I mean, though. Magic: Weaponary Skills & Finishing Move: 1) Thrusts of Thunder – As she uses Mana, unlike her fellow Shanoki, this particular spell costs 10 Mana out of her 300. Being a charge up move, after a full release, the Mana will begin to drain to use again. There are three charge ups, which may be finished with the finishing move. Using any of her blades to charge it, the result when it’s released is a wave of shock, with multiple lightning strokes spin out from within the wave. 2) Claws of Ice – A charge up move, similar to Thrusts of Thunder, except with a Mana cost of 20, and instead of a wave of shock, a spray of ice will plague the air for around six yards. 3) Blades of Shadow – Yet again a charge up, similar to the other two, but letting off globes of darkness, temporarily binding the enemy’s sight into an eternal darkness. A cost of 30 Mana is required, and the blind lasts for 30 seconds max, depending on the enemy’s strength. 4) Dragon Kick of Paralysis – This finishing move is a ferocious kick knocking back the enemy and momentarily paralyzing them on the spot, along with the effects of the charge up along with it, unless they haven’t been charged. The Mana cost is 25. Shadow Masteries: 1) Cloak of Shadow – With the cost of 10 Mana, for 10 seconds a temporary Cloak of Shadow will blind all enemies surrounding her up to 3 yards, lowering their defence. 2) Shadow Master – Create a clone of herself for a limited time of ten minutes, costing her 60 Mana. 3) Speed Burst – For a mere thirty seconds her movement’s speed will all be tripled. Mana cost is 20. Skills: 1) To the needles she owns, a certain skill she owns is this one. Adding either lightning or ice to the needles will cause on hit a sphere of ice to explode out for three yards, or sparks of lightning to shoot out for the same distance. Mana cost is 15. On a side note, Mana replenishes 1MP every minute, if that's too short then I can adgust (SP?) it. History (Biography): A world somewhat parallel to our world, although so different, in another dimension as it would seem, is the world of Sugoia. With its strange architecture of unlevelled ground and out-of proportion structures, its appearance is nothing like anyone could try to imagine. Its people are similar to those of our world earth, when in fact, you would know no difference. The world of Sugoia is a small one, its people conclude up to a total of exactly 512 Suugin (The name of the race, although their race name since then has changed to Shanoki, so we’ll use that instead.) The population never changes, and the Shanoki never age over 19 human years. In their world this is a long time, but it does not change a thing. Their stature is the same as the average 19 year old human. Now, if none of the Shanoki age over 19, then how are they created you ask? Who has bore them? It is a mystery, but as you read on, that may be made clearer to you, or stimulate your curiosity. Where this history starts, not all of the Shanoki have reached their full age, so many are at the time still being trained into a proficient Coujai; Isaku as one of them. At the time, her age to us was that of a 12 year old. Honing her Coujai skills was simplicity, speeding through it with ease. Her training was not often, but it was enough to her. Every month or so, a fellow Shanoki would visit her, her…house…if you could call it that…and teach her many new ways of the Coujai. And I’m sure the prior comment has aroused your inquisitiveness. Her home was nothing more than what we would see as a three story shack, with a sort of Japanese look to it, the walls run down, and the wood putrid; but to her it was enough. She didn’t wish for or miss a real home. Her life felt free. All she wished for was peace in her wonderful world, as she saw it. Blue skies, perfectly scattered clouds overhead, many a few, but made it perfect. Many vast rivers flowed around, and under bridges, a deep and lush yet bright blue, as it reflected the glistening sunlight. But, one part of this world however, was far from perfect, very out of place. A forbidden shrine, which lay at the far east of this world; it seemed like a small pool of warm water, surrounded with beautiful fences and decorative figurines and wall decorations, as well as tall candle stands, and incense burners. And at the very back of it, the furthest end of this world laid a gate. A gate which was beautifully carved and had the image of some Japanese royal gate into a castle. But, it was completely sealed and no one could enter. It seemed to have some link to the Shrine, which many began to name Shrine Illicit (Basically meaning a forbidden shrine). A history of this strange gate and the shrine it has. Not long ago on this world, was a man of the Shanoki who had aged passed the limit. And he had committed this by leaving his world and returning years later. This was forbidden. None of the Shanoki were permitted to leave the world of Sugoia without a special reason, but he had done so, and to do this, he had walked through the gate. When he did, he found his way in another world, of which was entirely anew and diverse to Sugoia. However, he found no way he could live in the world any longer as it was completely dissimilar to his real world. He hated it, and sought to destroy it. Although, he would not be able to do so on his own. He would need a skilled “army”. This world was named Suthlen. Its land was black and dry. The life of the people who lived on it seemed to be dull, and just an opposite of his world. Although he had slight hate towards his own world, as he wished to surpass his set age, his hate to this new world was more so. He came up with a new scheme. He would change this world into his own, except with the will to age. The Shanoki Coujai would be perfect for him to help wipe out this new world. Trying to find a way back to his own world was no bliss or quick task. It took many a month. He found an inverted version of the gate he’d arrived to Suthlen with. At long last he’d finally found a return. His wishes were finally following through as he wanted. However, to his shock, he found that he’d made the wrong decision. His sin had been found out. The Shanoki bound his spirit and mind into the gate, and his heart and soul was divided into 512 pieces, and locked into each heart and soul of the Shanoki remaining in the world. The gate would not again be opened; however the Shrine Illicit was forever linked to his mind and spirit, this, however, was a mistake the Shanoki had made. The Shanoki never meant to do so, but it just so happened, because of him leaving Sugoia and living in another world, his remaining mind and spirit latched onto the first thing it could. The Shrine Illicit now is forbidden. And there is a very important reason to why so. Any of the Shanoki who enter the Illicit more than thrice would make a very serious mistake. The spirit and mind of the man who’s name we shall tell you was Kroril, which was tied to the Illicit Shrine, would react to the heart and soul of that in the Shanoki, and something he’d wished to happen all his life since he ended up in Suthlen, would happen. The piece of his heart and soul would return to him and the Shanoki which entered the Illicit Shrine…would lose their soul to him, and under his eternal service. Their body would disappear and lock into the gate with him, and after all his heart and soul pieces were returned, the gate would open, and he would be unleashed to freedom. Those Shanoki would no longer be those who they were, but the Krori, a new race of which Kroril created for his order. But the history which I’m supposed to be telling you of Isaku begins 12 years later. She knew not of the Illicit Shrine, only had heard a few rumours, but she thought of it not at all. She had seen many of her friends entering the Shrine Illicit, and wondered why they did so. They told her how great it felt, as they felt a freedom of some sort in their heart. Isaku didn’t really understand too well to this, but ignored it. Many of the older Shanoki would tell the younger ones that the Shrine was forbidden and to never enter it, ever, forever. But they didn’t care; anything that was forbidden was fun to them. Until slowly, Isaku started to realise her friends were disappearing… There is no large history of how Isaku grew up, so we won’t go into those details after so much has already been written, but where big things started to happen in her life, we’ll skip to there. It was on a hot day after Isaku and her friends’ training sessions that her friends managed to talk Isaku into joining them in the Shrine. Isaku had never done it before, and she didn’t really want to see what it was all about, but she didn’t want to seem rude to her friends either, so she did. Her teacher caught her in the Shrine later, and forced her out of it. Isaku defended herself with her typical quote, “It wasn’t me who did it; they told me to!” She ran back to her “house” after that, and made sure she wasn’t told off or anything, or punished worse. The sky was black that evening, and it was a birthday of one of the leader Shanoki. Isaku had been invited to the party, but she decided not to go. Down at the party, many of the Shanoki were each dared to enter the Shrine. Just for the fun of it, many did it, and realised what a mistake they’d made. The very same day Kroril’s Birthday was. His bondage was loosened by half, and the Shanoki who entered the Shrine disappeared. Many in shock checked in the Shrine to see what had happened to the other Shanoki, but they ended up disappearing themselves. Over 400 Shanoki disappeared that night, into the Shrine, forever. The very next day, Isaku realised something was wrong, many Shanoki were missing, and almost all her friends gone. She was told of the tale by her remaining friends, who in panic begged Isaku to help them retrieve the Shanoki. Approximately 42 Shanoki remained. Isaku as one of them. Her friends explained to Isaku that the previous night many of the Shanoki disappeared from entering the Illicit. Isaku was pretty surprised. Some of the remaining Shanoki had not been there the night before, and decided to investigate into the Shrine, not knowing the danger. The Shrine’s power had become much greater, more so that now it would take a mere step in it to be taken into the gate of Kroril’s spirit. Two of the Shanoki disappeared after the search. 40 remained. But it was too late, it was enough now. Two of the Shanoki who had disappeared were unleashed by Kroril’s spirit out of the gate to help gather the rest of the Shanoki into the Shrine. Isaku lost her friends the next day, and the incident was still unclear to her, her youthful mind couldn’t even begin to comprehend this…no one could. Those Shanoki who were unleashed used needles of some sort coated in the water from the Shrine and thrown at the Shanoki. She would soon meet the same fate. Over the next week, 35 of those remaining Shanoki vanished. Only 5 remained. Isaku started to realise what was going on. This was insane. That night she visited the Shrine, not entering it. A determination to discover what was happening lurked in her heart. One of the dark Shanoki of which had been released happened to be at the Shrine that night, and caught sight of Isaku. She ran. But they chased after her, firing multiple needles of illicit water at her, which missed. She was prepared for this. She took shelter into her house, although not long later the Shanoki found her, and again tried to catch her with a spark from the needles. Desperately blocking many, she trailed her way up and up her house, until they were on the roof. Frantically managing to escape all the needles, she could not move anymore, after using all her energy. She soon discovered she had two of the Shanoki on her now, as it must be that the rest of the Shanoki who were left were no more. She was the only one left. There was no way she could escape now. She braced herself, as the needle hit her. The gate reacted, and opened. Kroril’s heart and soul had been restored. He found himself pulling himself free from the gate. At first he was surprised as he glared around, he was finally free. He laughed to himself and behind him from through the gate the 512 Shanoki followed behind him. He was finally ready for his plan he’d conjured those 12 years ago. Isaku saw everything through her own eyes, but she had no soul, she had no control over her body, she could do nothing but merely watch everything which happened, as it all tormented her mind. Kroril entered the gate, as the Shanoki followed him. They ended up back in that world he’d been at so long ago -- Suthlen. There was a mistake though! As the last to have been returned to Kroril her soul was still partially in her. Why? It was an imperfection. No one actually knows. The world of Suthlen was gradually beginning to fall, and the Shanoki slowly began to weaken. Kroril himself found himself lowering to his limit of energy, and his age was too much for him. The Shanoki were not supposed to age over 19, this was the whole point the world of Sugoia was made, so this race would be able to live on without death befalling them in such a way, his heart was torn apart, and his mind distorted. Isaku felt her body control return to her, until she realised she could move completely. Drawing her Katanas, she slowly made her way behind Kroril, and killed him. He yelled out in pain, as he realised what he had done. An exploding light beamed out of him, and his body blew away into the wind, disappearing. The light hit the Shanoki, and they disappeared, and Isaku felt herself being knocked unconscious. It was a few hours or so later that she woke up, and glared around her. Where was she? In a wasteland? As far as she could see was desert, and dry grass. Nothing around. Her memory was hazy and she didn’t remember anything, except from when she’d entered the Shrine Illicit. Even so it was hazy. She stood up. It was then she realised she was under the horrible illusion spell of being hit in her critical spot. She was not in a wasteland at all; her mind saw it that way. A few minutes later she realised she was surrounded by a new world, of which she knew not of. There seemed to be some battle nearby as she could hear. There were a couple of people in a fight, who seemed to be two sorts of warriors or paladins. She had not seen such a strange sort of style of fighting. After not long, one was knocked to the ground, and the other won. He approached Isaku. She questioned where she was, and they replied, “Who are you to not know?” They walked off, and Isaku was left alone. She didn’t give up hope however. She would discover where she was. Following this, Isaku moved forward, into a nearby wood. The eeriness seemed to taunt her, as every pace she took felt like the ground under her would crack and engulf her into darkness. Cracks from each twig pierced to her heart. The feeling of the air around her was nothing she’d experienced. Rustles from bushes which played with the wind sent cold shivers down her spine, with the occasional swallowing of her own saliva in fear. She’d have to hold strong. One movement came from a tree nearby which apparently hit her to be more than a forest creature. Someone else was now onto her, someone else knew she was here. The grip around the two hilts of her Katars tightened, following a faint heavy breath escaping her. It was all then that the action began. A leap from the tree behind Isaku revealed her opponent, cloaked in shadow from the overcast branches from the trees, as their two weapons came to a clash for a few moments, until each moved back, Isaku took a front flip and an air roll over her foe, a two-motion slice into their back with one Katar swinging after the other. Her opponent flinched, before speaking. “I’m sorry, I don’t mean any harm to you, little girl. Always must be cautious. You seem to have some skill…” Isaku stopped; someone who spoke the same language besides her own kind? She hadn’t leant the language English in depth before, but such another world like this knowing it…she didn’t understand. “I’m sorry, I guess I have to be cautious too…heh.” Owning a small house within the forest, she became known to this person, whose name was Alxann. Her class was named as an Assassin, which Isaku learnt to be similar to that of her own class. It was soon that she grew to have a friendship with Alxann. She was a mere two years her senior and their interests seemed to relate. Telling everything about the world she could, which was known as Earth, Alxann made it her duty to make sure Isaku became accustomed to the new world she was in, only discovering that the world she must have previously been in was similar to theirs, as Isaku seemed accustom to some of the things she mentioned. For the night, Isaku slept at Alxann’s home, if you could call it that, and the next day Alxann felt an urge to teach Isaku all the skills she knew, as she’d learnt Isaku knew no magic spells, although she seemed to wield Magic Power – Mana. Isaku herself never knew she had such a thing either; in fact her race had never had Mana, as they believed Magic was something which should never exist. The next week or so, Isaku spent her entire time learning everything Alxann wished to teach her (She earned the spells which she now wields in the Magic/Skills section), and it seemed to be a breeze. Why had she never known she had Mana? Well, that’s because she didn’t, she earned it from her experience from becoming a Krori. The proceeding night Isaku couldn’t sleep, and contributing to this was the sound of footsteps outside. Not wanting to wake Alxann caused her to investigate herself, and as a folded piece of paper was pushed under the door, Isaku felt something was wrong. Although she felt it rude, she couldn’t resist the urge to open the paper. Upon reading it, this is what it said: “Dear Alxann, if you're reading this I presume you're still alive. We know of the incident which has happened two weeks prior me writing this. I’m going to get down to business. You have two days to show up, or you’ll be held responsible for your crime. We can get you out of it, but only if you cooperate. Signed by you know who. Remember, two days.” None of this made sense to Isaku, but immediately she realised Alxann was more than what appeared on the outside. She couldn’t bear to get involved with her issue, so Isaku forced herself to leave there and then. It was hard, but it was her only choice. A year has passed since then, and Isaku has not heard from Alxann since, nor found a way to return to her homeland ever, and how she managed to leave it, but she hopes one day it’ll all be answered, and she’ll be able to return to her home, but until then, she’s Isaku, without a real purpose for wandering around, except she has realised many things over her life, and she has a purpose now, help whatever needs help in, and not let a same fate happen to anyone else that happened to her, as she understands what it means to lose everything, and the pain one has to suffer to betray a friend. --End of History & Profile

Re: Character List
Approvedeth by Ranarath.
Name: Redrick Volnekien Age: 18 Race: 1/2 human, 1/2 Velean (Veleans are a race of blue-skinned people that originated from the world known as the Chaos Realm, and would eventually open the doors to the Spiritual Realm) Sex: Male Hair: White, but with a tint of emerald Eyes: Emerald green Weight: 140 lbs. Height: 6.9 feet Weapon: He has a dagger dipped in poison known as "Scorpyro". It has the elemental attribute of fire. He also has a crossbow called "Volneiken Wind". Strengths: He isn't much of a power-house, physically. He is thin, agile, but not much of a damage dealer with his dagger (His crossbow is quite powerful, though.) He is highly acrobatic, able to jump long distances. He is strong against unholy enemies, such as demons, vampires, undead, etc. Weakness: Water can potentially nullify his dagger. He can only defeat heavily armored opponents from a distance, with his crossbow. Magic attacks can prove quite effective against him. Skills/Magic: He can summon powerful creatures to help him defeat his enemies. He also has unique weapon skills. Summons (They require Redrick to store up energy before they can appear): Jörmungandr- A sea serpent that can entagle enemies, and cause water elemental damage. It is weak against lightning. Thor- Lord of the thunders, he can cause heavy lightning damage with his mighty hammer. He is the enemy of Jörmungandr. He is weak against water. Níðhöggr- A mighty reptile, capable of breathing fire. He is weak against water. Dagger Skills: Thousand Knives- The dagger duplicates itself, and the copies are fired at the enemy. Poison- The dagger usually poisons the enemy. The degree of how strong the poison is varies; some enemies can be immune, and some enemies can be greatly damaged by it. Numbness- The dagger is striked in just the right position on the enemy's body, causing the enemy to be temporarily numbed, weakening it's attacks. Crossbow Skills (Only used at a distance): Elemental Shot- Fires, with an elemental charge. Charge Shot- Causes critical damage, but it takes a while to charge up. Appearance: He is covered in old, black robes. His face is almost completely covered with robes, except for his eyes. He has long hair, although most of it is covered, as well. Hair can be seen from the back and on the sides. His skin is very pale, but has a slight tint of blue. Personality: He is usually very serious. He shows little mercy to his enemies, and, even though he is generally a good character, he believes that the end result is always worth the trouble. He generally fights for good, but can be cruel and uncaring at times. Biography: He is the son of the known hero, Ralleck. He is the younger brother of Violet, who, infamously, became the partner of Vaion Sithiri. When Redrick was only 6, his father, Ralleck, had been killed, and his sister, Violet, went missing. This had a profound effect on Redrick. Redrick started to hate the Order of the Cleansing, the emperor Callicos, and all of the other things associated with the demise of his father and his older sister. Eventually, this hate caused him to sign up with a group of warriors known as the "Animus Proeliator". This was an organization that had numerous goals- To wage a war against Callicos, and to put an end to the Order of the Cleansing. Now, all of the members of "Animus Proeliator" were required to travel the "Walk of Knowledge", a journey that would take him to many places to acquire Phasmas, or summonable creatures. He eventually completed this journey, and gained the ability to summon three powerful beings. However, as he returned to Animus Proeliator, victorious, he learned that the organization had been destroyed- By the Order of the Cleansing. For a while, Redrick seemed to go in to hiding, and not much is known about him. However, he eventually became known again. One day, he learned of Emperor Callicos's 'quest'- To regain the Grace Stones, and to take control of the Spiritual Realm. Callicos almost succeeded (He temporarily gained control of the Spiritual Realm), but Redrick was there- Redrick defeated Callicos, destroying the evil emperor. However, as Redrick left the Spiritual Realm victoriously, an evil force seemed to affect him. He had visions of a figure made of nothing but blood, and this was Callicos. All around him, images of Malletreya's Domain was shown, all covered in blood and despair. Redrick remembered the word 'Malletreya'- Ralleck and his friend, Vaion, onced stopped an evil demon from trying to kill Malletreya. The demon was destroyed, and Malletreya went in to a sleep-like state- Waiting to be reborn as the leader of the Spiritual Realm. Was Callicos trying to sabotage this? Redrick journeyed to Malletreya's Domain to find out. And sure enough, he saw the same, bloody figure of Callicos, entering the crystalline 'coccoon' of Malletreya. Redrick realized what Callicos was trying to do. Callicos's own body was destroyed when he tried to take over the Spiritual Realm, so he was trying to gain a new body. Malletreya would eventually awaken, and Callicos would awaken insider her body, controlling her mind, and body. Callicos would be made the ruler of the Spiritual Realm, with a new body. Redrick tried to stop Callicos, but he couldn't- Callicos was in a spiritual state, and couldn't be attacked. However, Redrick's old enemy, Vaion Sithiri, had appeared. "If the Spiritual Realm is not Sithiri's, then it will belong to none!" Vaion exlaimed. The spawn of Sithiri had appeared, and entangled the coccoon of Malletreya. Just then, Malletreya awakened, but with Sithiri and Callicos inside her. Malletreya entered the Spiritual Realm, but the minds and bodies and will of Malletreya, Callicos, and Sithiri had melded- Creating a new being, Redrick's greatest foe, Mallitricos. Mallitricos ruled over the Spiritual Realm, until Vaion and Redrick put a stop to this. The Foredemon Mortivan saw the overthrowing of Mallitricos as a chance to take over the Spiritual Realm, and so he did- He became the Archdemon of the Spiritual Realm. Now, Redrick's goal is clear- He must find and defeat Mallitricos once and for all, he must put a stop to Vaion Sithiri's plans to ressurect the Order of the Cleansing, and he must overthrown Archdemon Mortivan.

Name: Vane Dayrose (Pronounced like van day-rows) Age: Billions of years since he was a demon, but as a human he looks to be about 30. Species/Race: Used to be a demon, but he gave up his demon forms to greatly strengthen his human form. Now he is pure human. Sex: Male Hair: Vane has long, very slightly curly black hair. It goes down to his neck and he has the bangs slicked back. He also has a goatee that isn’t very thick or long, and the skin beneath it is still visible. Eyes: His eyes are hazel and sometimes change to light brown in darkness. Weight: 147lbs Height: 6”1’ Discipline: Vane’s training was all based on an ancient demon tome that taught very deadly magic and great sword techniques. He was also well schooled in the arts of battle strategy. During his time as a human, he also was trained in the police force, which is where he gained his gun affinity. Preferred Weapon: Probably any type of handgun or katana. He can use any type of weapon, but he is most proficient with a handgun and katana. Being that a new age is starting, it is more likely he would use his handgun. Held Weapons: Red Cell: Vane’s katana. This sword is the legendary sword that he once carried when he was the Demon King. It still retains all of his demon powers from when he was a demon plus his new powers. This sword gains lots of power as Vane advances in his human forms. With each transformation, the sword can gain a large amount of energy, which allows it to strengthen Vane himself even more. This blade is called Red Cell because of the blood-red blade and that the god of basic life(cells), Christof, created it. Black Cell: Vane’s handgun. This is his most used weapon, as it is more effective than the sword in the new age of technology. Unlike any other handgun, this gun’s bullet force can pierce almost any kind of armor, and because of the great speed of the bullets and Vane’s flawless aim, it rarely misses its target. Unlike any normal gun, this one can never run out of ammo and can even sprout a large shield that can cover Vane’s entire front and protect him from any attack. In Vane’s advanced form, a shot from this gun that passes through a mountain can actually collapse the entire thing from the huge force that the bullet puts out. The speed of the bullet can reach 3x the speed of sound when Vane is in his greatest form. This gun is called Black Cell because of the jet-black bullets it fires and the black color of the gun itself. Like Red Cell, the god, Christof, created this gun. Clothing: Vane always wears his long black coat that goes down to the floor. He always wears it unbuttoned and what he wears under varies to whatever he wants to wear. He is a civilized and normal person usually so he doesn’t just wear the same clothes everyday. He can mostly be expected to be wearing something like his favorite white, armless vest under, or maybe even nothing under. Around his neck is a little silver coffin chain necklace. The coffin has a bloody silver cross carved into the surface, but it is hard to see since it is only a little thing on a necklace. Special Abilities: His human transformations are an upgrade over his old demon forms as they have an aura of pain around them and generate a lot more power. His new forms are definitely essential to his victory in battle. Special Attacks/Magic: Sword Control: The simple ability to control his sword while it is not in his hand. This technique is effective for distracting the enemy while Vane tries to make distance between them so that he can use Black Cell. Mad Spray: This is a Black Cell technique where small holes open up on the sides of the gun and bullets fire in every direction, as the holes move all over the gun. He can continue doing this for as long as he wants and the fire is as rapid as he can click the trigger. He mainly uses while in a rapid, mid-air spin so that it has more speed. Gale of Bullets: This is a mix attack that uses both Red and Black Cell. First, Vane will create a large whirlwind by rapidly spinning his sword while flying in a circle at a high speed. This causes a gigantic tornado of wind. Then he will basically perform Mad Spray in the center of the tornado and control the bullets so that they get caught in the wind current. Then the whole thing will rapidly move towards the opponent. This technique is great for regaining energy because the enemy cannot get near Vane while he is in the center of the twister. Fire: Vane can manipulate fire greatly. He can create and manipulate flames that can be from red flames to white flames. After his third transformation, he can even use black fire, which is even hotter than white flames. Darkness: Vane was once a demon whose main element was darkness. Now he can manipulate the element of darkness to a great extent. Most of his dark spells cause corrosion and decay in his opponents and even instant death in weak ones. He only has one signature darkness spell. Nightsphere: This is Vane’s only unique dark elemental technique. This is potentially his most deadly technique. It creates a large sphere that is capable of swallowing a large factory, which makes it hard for the opponent to escape it. Once in the sphere, the opponent is subject to about five minutes of extreme dark shredding and major decay and fatal health problems that can also result from the decay. Some of the most powerful of opponents can actually survive this technique with large gashes allover them and patches of heavy decay on their skin, but any opponent of less strength is most likely torn to shreds. This has been known to cause all types of cancer. Transformations: These transformations have no effect on Vanes appearance except for a light aura around him. There are a lot, but there has to be that many for it to work with his attributes. Yellow Ring Form: This transformation changes the color of the aura to yellow and strengthens it more. This transformation mainly upgrades Vane’s defense; it greatly hardens his skin and will also strengthen the clothes he is wearing and make them somewhat resistant to damage. Like the first and second transformation, it further increases all other attributes, but less on speed. Green Ring Form: This transformation changes the color of the aura to green and strengthens it a lot over the previous transformation. This transformation mainly upgrades Vane’s endurance, which he already has a lot of, so at this point he can basically never become tired. Like all of the previous transformations, it also increases all other attributes, but less for speed and power. Brown Ring Form: This transformation changes the color of the aura to brown and strengthens it a little more. This transformation mainly upgrades Vane’s magic effectiveness. It also increases all other attributes, but less for speed, power, and endurance. White Ring Form: This transformation changes the color of the aura to white and increases the damage and pain it inflicts on an opponent by a lot. The aura also becomes bigger. This transformation mainly upgrades Vane’s intelligence capacity. This transformation will clear his mind and allows him to think at a much higher level than before. This upgrade also slightly increases speed, power, endurance, magic effectiveness, and his skill. Inscarem Ring Form: This transformation is Vane's final and by far most powerful transformation. The ring in this form changes from white, to grey, to black. It also gives Vane a great defensive barrier by becoming a solid defense against physical and magical attacks aimed at him. Just as in his previous form, all of his attributes are once again greatly increased, but his awareness and intelligence capacity seem to be increased even more. Also, Vane gains somewhat of a bloodlust in this form. Unfortunately, after going into this form, Vane can only hold it for three minutes and after it goes away, he cannot transform again until he sleeps. Personallity: Vane is usually good-natured and compassionate. He is very protective of others and can be friends with anyone who isn't evil. He is usually serious, but can be lazy and quite a jokester when there is nothing serious to be serious about. He's the type that would do absolutely anything for his friends and even his enemies if it would change them. His children all claim that he deserves best person in existence awards! Strengths: He has amazing weapons and great skill with each of them. His speed is also amazing normally, but all of his stats can increase greatly after transformations. In his final form, he actually can actually move at twice the speed of sound. Weaknesses: Because of lack of armor, he is rather easily wounded, but that is made up for by his great pain resistance and stamina. He also is rather uncontrollable when he gains the bloodlust from Inscarem ring. Biography: Vane was originally born as a demon; his father and mother were two very prestigious demons in the Silronian Hell. He was originally named Vane Deiros, but he was too ashamed to carry his father’s name so he changed his name to Gaosha Demos. He hated his father with all of his heart and they never did anything but fight each other. His mother on the other hand was his most cherished family member. Soon later, his father became too out of hand and his mother left him for a greater god of heaven in another dimension. She was later charged with betrayal of Hell and was sentenced to death if she was ever seen again. Twenty years later, Vane’s older brother, Wolf Royal was elected as the new god of the Silronian Heaven, and Vane lost all respect he had gained and fell into his brother’s shadow. Vane was appalled to learn that mother had went to a dimension with a different time zone to have a child so that he would grow older than Vane and surpass him. At this point, Vane realized that his mother was ashamed of having a demon child, so he decided to disown his entire family. That ended up not working out very well, and he ended up moving in with his brother in the end. Soon after, a huge war between Heaven and Hell broke out in which Vane and his brother took their pregnant mother (yes again) to a safe place on the Silronian equivalent of Earth. It wasn’t long before the war spread there as well though, and before they realized, they were in danger again. In a final battle, Vane’s mother was savagely wounded right after giving birth to her daughter. It wasn’t long before their mother died and the two brothers were left on their own with their baby sister. Sixteen years later, their sister fell ill and never recovered again, the brothers’ only remaining family were their fathers. At this point, Wolf had gained such power and such a great bloodlust, that he murdered his own father and took his place as one of the great gods of the entire universe, apparently his goal was the highest position of God himself. Vane’s father later returned to him and declared that he disowned him as his son, and went to Wolf. When Vane followed his father, he saw that he was worshipping Wolf and saying that he was the greatest nephew ever. The flattery on the god worked and Vane’s father was appointed as one of Wolf’s royal guards. With nothing left to gain from being with his family, Vane returned to the Silronian Hell and joined the ranks of the demon army. He wanted to be his brother’s equal, in a different way. After a few years of savage training, Vane led an independent assault on his brother and with his ambush, successfully murdered the god, whom was several times stronger than he. He felt pretty hopeless afterwards as high-ranking angels surrounded him, but his top pupil, Braiden Bruschi, rescued him. After he rescued Vane, Braiden became Vane’s favorite student and he even began to call him his equal. The two later went on many missions together for Hell, their biggest mission being the destruction of Sader Torse. Sader had been a great impediment for Satan’s plans, and he had to be taken out. In the end, they ended being defeated by Torse after a four week long battle that moved them halfway across the universe. After their failure, they basically lost all of their reputation in Hell, but that wouldn’t be eternal. Vane lived basically the life of a normal demon for an extremely long time; years in the billion. Eventually Vane’s ambitions fired up again and they were great. He ended up performing a coup de etat on Satan himself. After the successful abolition of Satan, Vane became the Demon Lord. Unfortunately, his reign was short, as a dark demon named Rein Aeria murdered him and took his place. After his death, he spent several years training in the city of Bimalon, the place where demons went when they died. Vane was lucky that he was a good friend with the lord of Bimalon, and he was able to receive great treatment, and was allowed to go back. After his return to Hell, he traversed the great Tower of Shadow’s Veil, which was said to be the greatest challenge of a demon lord. It was built by the current lord of Bimalon, and at the top was said to be the ultimate weapon. There were three necessary items needed to gain access to the tower, but Vane had gotten all three from the creator himself. It took about three whole years to actually climb the entire tower, but when he got to the top he was welcomed by Rein. They battle on the top of the tower in a very intense battle, but Rein ended up winning by knocking Vane into the portal that was the exit to the tower. Those three years were wasted. The two demons became ultimate rivals after that and they encountered each other basically everywhere. It eventually became obvious to Vane that Rein was superior, so he decided to retreat to Earth and live a normal life where he was not in danger of being murdered by Rein. He eventually married and had his first child, Zein. After his son’s sixteenth birthday, he met an evil sorcerer who never gave his name. Vane had locked in battle with the wizard to try and stop him from destroying his home city. Vane came out victorious in the battle, but the wizard put a curse on Vane with his last breath. The curse would cause all of his children to stop aging at the age of 13. He hoped that this would keep all of Vane’s future children from becoming strong assets for the side of good. This didn’t bother Zein at all though, since he had already aged past 13. Vane knew that Zein was a very powerful half demon, but he didn’t enjoy being a demon anymore, since he was becoming normal. He also didn’t want any of his future sons to be demons; he wanted them to live normal lives. He finally made a decision and had the lord of Bimalon take away his demon blood. With that done, Vane began to train in the secret art of aura transformations to replace the power he had lost. He also joined the police force in his city so that he could continue to fight evil. It wasn’t long before he had another son that he named Korou, but this time he wanted to see if he could get around the curse. He took his new son to a dimension with a very fast time flow. Unfortunately it did not work. Upon his return, he had a now 13-year-old son, and only three days had passed in his home. Even though Vane had gotten rid of his demon blood, it turned out that Korou had an ancient demon that had been passed through his genes called the Kasakki. Even though the child had no demon in him, he could summon the strength of the Kasakki in battle to make himself very powerful. Since Korou didn’t mind having the demon, Vane didn’t even bother trying to get rid of it, and it also made his son very powerful, which would be what the wizard that cursed him wouldn’t want. Five days before Zein’s seventeenth birthday, he suddenly disappeared. It was three days later that Vane spotted him on the beach, sitting on a bench. When he turned his son around to look at him, he saw that his left eye had turned yellow and the retina was black. Before he could even react, Zein slammed his fist into his father’s forehead and knocked him out. Upon his awakening, a man appeared before him in a black robe with Zein next to him; he also wore the same garb. The other man introduced himself as Rygo Syzma, and he explained that Zein was now the property of the organization, Ketsueki. Vane was pissed and tried to attack the man, but the man’s pinky finger tapped Vane on the head and knocked him into space. It also had shattered Vane’s skull in the front. Up until recently, Vane never saw any of the men in the large robes again. He later learned that Syzma had cursed Zein and he was totally under Ketsueki’s control. By now, even Silronian technology had advanced and Vane advanced with it. He decided that he needed to put himself together and fight Ketsueki himself if he ever wanted Zein back. He made a trip to Christof, whom had been his father’s old friend and he asked for the creation of his two weapons. He was rewarded with the Red Cell and the Black Cell. With his new weapons, he began nonstop training with Korou. After three years of training, Vane perfected the art of aura transforming and gained his strongest form. Perhaps fortunately, a large percentage of the members in Ketsueki were beginning a rebellion and had recovered the Revenant’s Soul from the Shadow Plane. The traitors urged their master to attack the great City of Bimalon, where Christof and Rael Aeria resided. The leader of the rebellion, Kinesi Shuko, knew that they would have a great advantage in the battle if they had and Aeria and a god on their side. The plan began all too soon and the entire band of ten members found themselves in the center of Bimalon. Christof summoned Vane to aid the city and his call was answered. Vane arrived to see the city in complete chaos. Rein Aeria, who had actually chosen to be an ally of Ketsueki was there waiting for Vane, but because of his delayed arrival, he was unable to meet Rein in battle. The demon lord had seen two of his previous friends in the battle and turned against Ketsueki, killing both their weakest and strongest members within a minute of each other. The battle was over before it had begun, and every member of Ketsueki was dead. The only survivor was Kinesi Shuko, the rebellion leader. After the battle had ended and the participants had taken their leave, Vane learned that Rein had been in the battle and he cursed himself for not knowing. Kinesi Shuko was never seen again, but Braiden later sighted his father, Kinesi Iechi, in the Dark Plane Void. With Ketsueki gone, Zein was also gone, and Vane could only blame himself for allowing it all to happen. Before he could recover from the loss, though, he found himself one day in bed with several women after a large party in Bimalon. A week later he found a baby on his doorstep with a letter saying that it was his. Vane took this as a sign from Ka up in the heavens that he needed to fill Zein’s role with another who could help in the struggle against Rein. Without telling Korou, Vane took the child to the dimension of Nervia where he named the boy Esni, which means “innocence” in Silronian. This name was curious to the inhabitants of Nervia, as they thought that the boy was supposed to be a well-trained warrior that would take down Rein, not an innocent child. What none of them knew was that this child would one day be perhaps the most intelligent mortal in existence. Because he was raised in Nervia, Vane was able to grow him to the age of 10 in only one Silronian month. During the entire period of time, Rein had assembled an elite force of five great warriors that would help him in his plan to destroy Silronia. Upon his return, Vane learned that Rein had found out about the creation of the parallel Silronia by the evil part that had separated from Christof. Rein was now going to use that as a base of operations and destroy his old one: Silronia. Theme Song: Savior by our very own Safer! His arrogance will lead him to do stuff that might severly injure him( run after an oponent into a river) and he is dumb in a manner of the fact that when you tick him off, or injure him, he would do just about anything to get back at you, even if it ment killing himself. He can be crushed, by like a tree falling or something in that way, and a lot of hits to one area would destroy his armour. Skills/Magic: He is agile, and has good aim with his weapons. He can use his sword with great skill. Appearance: He can change metal parts color, yet prefures reds, and black. He is tall and broad shouldered, yet ninja like other wise. You can see the frame of muscle on him, yet not that much. He has two read eyes, and a bald metal scalp. He has a belt on him that can contains amo. and other supplies. Personality: He is arrogant, yet unless you have done something to him in some way, he will not rush into a situation without thinking it through. He is always calm, and does not laugh ( ever) and is ussually angry at everything. He goes on rampages allot, just let some angert out, attacking fortresses, and villages, and forests. He will work with other poeple, yet grudgingly. Biography: As a child on the planet Glake, he was obsessed with robots. He designed a robot butler for his family and soon became a mechanic. He was drafted for an inter planet war at twenty though. He went to war for five years. During the war, a scientist named Colope created an idea for a supper weapon, and Havane volunteered. Colope told him that it would be risky and he might die in the procedure. Havane took the risk, and the idea worked. They mad him a cyborg. Within a week he was back on the front line crushing his opponents in battle, and by the end of the month the war was over. He went home and back to a mechanic. He had been upgraded so his job was much easier. He went home that night, and his parents were shocked. He still talked the samen, yet they did not believe it was him. He spent three hours convincing them that it was him, and eventually they believed him. Then they disowned him for taking such a risk. They were furious with him. Suddenly a complecation broke free and his robotic half took over and killed his parents. Hevane took cntrol back, and saw what he had done. He wept for hours. He fixed the complecation so it would not happen again, and went back out into the world. The poeple of his city soon discovered what had happened and attacked him. He had killed a few of them before escaping himself. He knew that he must find help. He found his way back to proffesor Colope. He pleaded with the proffesor to turn him back to norml, the proffesor said it was impossible. Havane killed him. When he left the building he was surrounded by the army witch he then destroyed in a matter of minutes. He left the planet with the help of his best friend Cansin, and came to a new one. Where he could start a clean slate, or so he thought. The planet he abandoned was taken over, and the invader soon came to this planet. It took two years for him to defeat them with his new poeple but eventually he did. On his last battle the last man to die told them what he had done to the other world. That man was Canis. He yelled at Havan efor abandoning thier planet. Havane killed him, then realized that Canis had not said that at all, he was under mind control. Havane fell into grief. But it was to late. The poeple had seen that Canis was right. He was a monster. They turned on him, and he was forced to leave agian, this time in a rage. He flew off to another planet. Here he learned to trust few. He entered a new world. He then started a new slate knowing that the invaders could not reach him here. Even if they did build up the strength and numbers to do it in. He was safe. Or was he? |

Re: Character List
Approved by Ranarath.
Name: Aleena “Luna” Moteiran (Pronounced: Ah-lean-a, Moat-eye-ran) Age: 18 Race: Half-Demon Sex: Female Hair: White Eyes: Sapphire Blue during the day, Silver at night. Weight: 165lbs Height: 6'5 Weapons: Katana Race description: Lunar demons are quite rare, even Half-lunar demons mostly because there are very few male lunar demons or humans that female lunar demons will mate with. Furthermore, potential mates have to look as beautiful/handsome, as the other. In addition, Lunar demons prefer more human-like forms, so they blend in with a crowd of humans then most other types of demons. Finally, Lunar demons are all born with white hair. However, Lunar Demons are the only type of demon that has some sort of religious belief. They believe that the moon goddess, Aska, used to live on Earth during the creation of all things until she could decide what she was going to do for all eternity. During her stay, she fell in love with a demon named Solaris. Over time, Solaris became more aggressive with Aska to the point where she had to escape from him. So, she took to the sky and became the moon. Solaris then took to the heavens and chased after her. This action led him to become the sun. Even today, the two chase each other across the sky locked in an eternal, never-ending chase. Strengths: Although she may not look it, Aleena is actually quite agile. She is used to dodging items or punches, so it is only natural that she would develop such agility. Like most Lunar Demons, Aleena’s strength is determined by the current phase of the moon. Naturally, at the full moon is when Aleena is at her strongest. Finally, she is able to exert some control over gravity, which can be quite useful at times. Weakness: Like almost every type of demon in the world, Aleena is weak against magical attacks. Moreover, she is especially weak against light or holy based attacks because of the demon blood that flows in her veins. In addition, when it looks like a battle is going in her favor, Aleena becomes overconfident. This leads to her underestimating her opponent and becoming sloppy. This usually results in her getting hurt. Like most Lunar Demons, Aleena’s strength is determined by the current phase of the moon. Naturally, at the new moon is when she is at her weakest. Skills/Magic: ~~ Sword ~~ Shockwave Blade As the sword swings it creates massive air pressure. When the swing stops, the air is propelled forward. The shockwave created can blow away lighter targets, and knock over heavier targets. This is a standard spell learnt at a young age. Almost everyone on earth can do this attack. Moonlight Cannon The sword absorbs a massive amount of light, then blasts out while retaining the shape of the blade of the sword. After contact with the target, the light explodes dealing a moderate amount of damage. Moonlight Cannon is a variation of the Light Cannon technique. However, Moonlight Cannon is only one-fourth the power of Light Cannon. In addition, unlike Light Cannon, Moonlight Cannon can be used on anything and anyone instead of a creature of pure evil. ~~ Demonic Skills ~~ Necral Summon This skill allows her to change any shadow into a shadow creature called a Necral. Necrals have razor sharp claws and attack with blinding speed. However, because of their speed, they lose power and must strike a target a large number of times. Furthermore, light, or holy magic can kill the Necrals rather easily. Dark Mist A ball of darkness forms on Aleena’s hand. She then throws it to the ground causing an explosion of darkness that cloaks everything within a ten-meter radius. However, the cloud can easily be blown away by the wind. The cloud itself can hurt the target, but only just a little. Moreover, if the target is light related, or holy, it will have no effect. Aleena usually uses this attack to escape form dire situations. Lunar Flare Light reflected from the sun builds energy and causes a narrow beam of light to descend from the sky. When the attack hits a solid object, it creates a small explosion. This attack can only be used at night, but not at the new moon. Furthermore, the attack has a large chance of missing the target. Transportation: A limited addition remake of the 1958 Plymouth Fury coloured in Ivory White with green trimming. It has been customized to be a convertible and to have a super-clean burning engine using a liquid called Hydrochloricribinucleonicplutoniumuraniumbromide, or HPUB for short Appearance: ![]() Thank you sdafun taking your time to draw my character. Your effort, and the effort of the others, is truly appreciated. Personality: Ever since she was a little girl, Aleena has faced discrimination for being a half-demon. Naturally, because of this she has developed a deep hatred for humans. However, if a human proves himself or herself trustworthy, she will begin to act nicely towards them. She also isn’t found of pureblooded demons because they make some demons and half-demons look like monsters in human eyes. Aleena is in no way shy and will tell someone what she thinks of them down to the exact words. Because of this, she has a habit of getting herself into trouble. Aleena also hates the concept of taking life from a living, intelligent creature, and will try her best in battle to incapacitate her opponent, rather then destroy them. Interests/Hobbies: Aleena’s main interest would have to be history. She cannot seem to get enough of ancient legends, myths, artifacts and places. Another hobby of hers, which her mother thinks is “Un-ladylike”, is the operation of machines. Aleena is fascinated at how they work, and often takes them apart for the soul purpose of figuring out how it works. Finally, Aleena has a love for music. In fact, she loves music so much that she plays two instruments: The A/E (Acoustic/Electric) Guitar, and the Trumpet. Not to mention the fact that she even writes her own music. Family and Friends: Jack Grant Moteiran was once a great explorer and treasure hunter, however, he gave it all up when he me the love of his life, Heather Grace Selain when she saved him from a roaring forest fire. Shortly after, the two began to take each other out to different occasions. Eventually, five years after they met, Heather revealed the fact that she was a Lunar Demon. Jack, however, did not care a single bit and their love continued to flourish. They are now the proud parents of three children: Kyle, Aleena and Sarah. Kyle is the oldest of the three being two years older than Aleena. He can be a bit bossy to his younger sisters, but he is generally kind and caring towards them. Like his father, he wishes to be an explorer later in life. Some of his hobbies include, annoying Aleena with his advanced Demonic Powers, and racing. Aleena is the oldest daughter and the middle child in terms of age. Sarah is the youngest of the three, being 4 years younger than Aleena, and strives to be just as great as her older brother and sister. She looks up to Aleena and her mother with the same respect she would give to an elder. Sarah hope to be a world-famous singer one day, but would settle for being the CEO of an International Corporation. Aleena has two friends, Nancy Jane Enbridge (Vinci) and Josephine Eileen Brooksvale. (Joe) Nancy is a gifted artist and also quite smart and inventive. She was nickname, “Vinci” after Leonardo Davinci because of those reasons. Josephine is a great athlete and is defiantly a Tomboy. For those reasons, she was nicknamed “Joe.” Thee three girls call their tight circle “The fellowship” because they are all considered outcasts form “mainstream” society and look to each other for support. Biography: Aleena was born, and lived the first year of her life in Madorian City, the Capital of Mistalin. However, her parents had decided that the big city was not the place for their children to grow up. So, the packed their bags and moved to a small village name Rockhaven in the Prairie province of Setarin. When the family first arrived the local where not impress with the idea of having a family of like the Moteirans living amongst themselves. In fact, they even tried to get rid of them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| “Order! Order!” cried the mayor of Rockhaven as the entire town was shouting over themselves, trying to display their distaste for the intruders. “We are all upset because of that cursed family, but we all have to keep Order!” shouted the mayor over the two hundred odd people. The town hall was completely packed for the first time since the town was founded thirty years ago. “That family moved next door to us!” cried a disgruntled man in the back. “They scare me and the wife senseless. We cannot even leave the house! The only reason we made it to the meeting was that they had gone out for dinner! Probably to go hunt down some cattle!” said the man ferociously. Then, an elderly woman stood up. “We have to get rid of those Satan-loving devils now! Who knows what they will do to us.” The mob murmured in agreement as the woman re claimed her seat. “Alright,” said the mayor. “It is painfully obvious that you want the Moteirans out. Therefore, it is my pleasure to say that I hereby exile them from the Village of Rockhaven for all eternity.” The crowd cheered as the mayor rose his gavel, ready to make the sentence official. However, at that very moment, the Moteiran family walked into the room followed their lawyer. “Hold it right there,” said the lawyer, opening his briefcase and withdrawing a piece of paper. “By order of his Lordship, Lord Nira, the Moteiran family has been granted permission to stay in the town of Rockhaven for as long as they please.” He then handed the piece of paper to the mayor who slowly lowered the gavel onto the bench. “Very well,” said the mayor. “The Moteirans are hereby allowed to live in Rockhaven for as log as they wish, and are not allowed to be discriminated against at all.” The defeated mayor banged his gavel on the bench, making the verdict official, to the great displeasure of the townspeople. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Over the years, the people of Rockhaven began to accept the Moteirans, finally seeing them as an ordinary family, albeit with little quirks. When Sarah Moteiran was born, the people of the town sent flowers and gifts to them, showing them that they were finally accepted into their large “family” as they put it. When Aleena finally made it to the second grade, she was beginning to realize just how rude some kids could be. Some would stare, point, or even mutter “Half demon,” as she passed. The more violent children would even punch or kick her, or even worse, exclude her from games. She found herself hating humans increasingly each day. However, one day during lunch, something would happen that would change her perspective forever. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| It was lunchtime on a clear April day. Most of Aleena’s classmates where busy playing a game of softball, but like always, she was not allowed to play. Stinking humans, she thought acidly as she watched them have a good time. She was sitting with her back to the wall of the school’s auditorium eating her lunch when a human girl about her age sat beside her. The girl was skinny and pale from lack of sunlight her eyes still adjusting to the brightness of the sun from behind her glasses. She opened her lunch bag and began to pick at her food. The girl looked like she was forced to be outside judging by the look on her face. At first, the two did not say a single word to each other. After a few minutes of silence, the human spoke to Aleena. “So, what are you doing here?” said the girl sheepishly. “Why aren’t you playing with the others?” “They hate me,” said Aleena simply. “Why?” replied the girl. “I don’t know. Maybe it is because I am half-demon,” said the white haired girl “Really? You are a half-demon? That’s so cool!” said the girl in delight. “You really think so?” inquired Aleena. “Yep, you’re so lucky! I wish I was one,” “No, you really don’t want to,” said Aleena darkly. “Why?” asked the girl. “Because half-demons are treated like dirt. Besides, it is better to be who you are then wish to be something else.” “Oh. Well, we could at least be friends. My name is Nancy,” said the girl cheerfully. There was a brief period of silence as Aleena tried to figure out why a human wanted to be her friend. “My name is Aleena,” said the half-demon finally deciding to try trusting the human. The two talked all through lunch discussing all manner of subjects such as their teacher’s weird mustache. Before the end of lunch, Nancy said she was going to get another friend of hers who was currently playing softball. Aleena sat there looking around at various objects, hoping that time would hold out. To her relief, Nancy came running back with another girl in tow. She looked almost the complete opposite of Nancy, she was not thin or pale, and she was quite muscular for her age and had a nice tan. “Hi, my name is Josephine. Nancy says you her new friend,” said the other girl. “Well, I guess I am. My name is Aleena,” just then, the bell rang. As the three rushed to the line to get back in, the three agreed to meet each other at the next recess. -----------------------------------------------------------------------| After that day, the Aleena became fast friends with Nancy and Josephine. Over the years, they began to give each other nicknames for their tight circle that they called “The Fellowship.” Aleena would be christened “Luna” because of her Lunar Demon background. Nancy would be christened “Vinci” because of her intelligence, skill at art, and for her inventive nature. Finally, Josephine would be christened “Joe” because of her prowess at sports and because she was a “tomboy” as the other girls called her. So, the three friends passed the grueling insult called Elementary school, and moved onto Middle school. They faced the inevitable pangs of puberty and changed from girls to young women. The “disgusting”, “filthy”, and “stupid” boys did not seem as bad as they where in the early years, they reached a whole new level of immaturity in the eyes of the girls. However, for Aleena the time was fast approaching where she would no longer be considered a child in the eyes of Lunar Demons. The adulthood ceremony was fast approaching. --------------------------------------------------------------------| The night has come, thought Luna as she changed into the ceremonial robes. After tonight, I will lose my childhood and become a woman. Why can’t they just do it gradually instead of all at once? I don’t want to grow up so fast. She hurriedly put on the rest of the garb and exited the room. The dark, cold stone temple echoed as Luna made her way down the hall towards the chamber where the ceremony would happen. After nearly tripping down a flight of stairs, she made it to the door. In front of her were four others waiting for the ceremony to begin all of them looking as nervous as her. The door opened as one of the elders called the first person in line to come into the room. The wait was nerve-racking as one person left after another until Aleena was the only one still standing in the cold barren hall. The stone doors slowly opened a crack accompanied by a voice saying, “Enter.” Luna walked into the large cathedral-like room. On the other side of the room sat the elders of the Lunar Demon culture dressed in ornate clothes to signal their dominance. In the center of the room was a large circular pool of water underneath a hole in the roof that allowed the moonlight to spill in as the primary light source. Before she had time to take in the historical splendor of the room, the elder in the middle of the long stone bench rose. “Aleena Heather Moteiran, the time has come for you to shake off the restrictions of childhood to be recognized as an adult in the eyes of the elders and the goddess Aska. Now, step onto the pool of water where you shall be judged to see weather you are ready to be an adult.” Aleena then cautiously went down the gentle slope of the room until she came to the edge of the water. She concentrated on being as light as she could and successfully walked on the surface of the water to the center of the pool. For a few minutes she stood there, nothing was happening. Aleena began to fear that the elder would tell her to step off and be humiliated because the goddess would not acknowledge her as an adult. Suddenly, the room began to turn into a white haze, the sound of the room fading into a slight buzzing. It was like her body and soul had become disconnected, wandering in a thick fog. What happened, am I dead? She thought. No, thou hath not passed on, said a female voice. Thou hath only had thine conscious removed from thine body so I could evaluate thee. So you are Aska? Though Luna. Yeah, for I am, said Aska. My evaluation is complete. Thou art worthy of being an adult. When you return to thine body, I shall give you my gift unto thee. Without another word, the white mist dissipated to return the chamber to Aleena’s eyes. There was a sudden weight on her left side, a sword had appeared in a golden light, scabbard and all, and had attached itself to its new master. The elder got up again and addressed the people in the room, “Well, that concludes the ceremony for this year. Now, while they get changed I invite the families to retire to the party camber to indulge in food and drink.” --------------------------------------------------------------| The years began to pass by quickly as Luna learned how to master her blade, but it was a rough road full of cuts, bruises, and tears. Eventually, it paid off when she learned the Moonlight Cannon technique and Shockwave Blade. When Aleena and her friends entered the horrors of High School, they began to get ready for their life journeys, an ancient and sacred tradition as a passage into adulthood. Aleena was not happy with the concept of having to go through two adulthood rituals, but submitted when her parents told her is was an opportunity to travel the world for free. Then, at the end of the twelfth grade, Aleena departed for her life Journey. Her friends Vinci and Joe had already left leaving here at home. Nevertheless, she knew she would see them again … one day. So, as she journeyed the land she found herself in a bit of a problem. Walking had become so tiring, and her foot sported many blisters. So many in fact, that she had to spend a few weeks at a home friendly to those on their life journeys to heal. ---------------------------------------------------------------| Luna hobbled up the driveway of the house, the pain from her feet surpassing her caution. The sign on the front lawn read, “Open to those on their Life Journeys.” However, she had her doubts. Even if the worst case scenario was true, she could easily escape anyway. Aleena pressed the doorbell on the side of the house and met a friendly looking elderly woman when the door opened. The woman surveyed the half-demon from top to bottom, then after an uneasy silence she said, “Let me guess. Life Journey?” Luna nodded politely. “Well, come on in, have a seat,” said the elderly woman. The young woman gratefully took a seat on the comfortable sofa. “Here, let me take your shoes. Oh my! No wonder you were so eager to get a seat!” said the woman. “Harold! Go get the cream!” she shouted to the man in the kitchen. The next day Luna could finally walk around without too much pain, but she still chose to keep of her feet as not to test luck. At dinner that night she volunteered to go to the garage to fetch some soda, after all it was the polite thing to do after all the help she had been given. As she bent down to get the pop; Aleena noticed a large object covered in a tan cloth. She walked toward it and pulled it off to reveal an old, rusted up car. The car looked like it had not been used in decades; many intricate webs laced the figure of the car. Its paint was faded from what must have been a brilliant shade of red, into a soft brown. “That damn car doesn’t work anymore,” said the old man who noticed Luna’s fascination with the automobile. “Iv tried ever single thing but it just won’t work. The only reason it is still here is because it is a collectors item.” “Well … maybe I could try fixing it?” asked Aleena sheepishly. “Ha! A woman fix my car? Fine go ahead. In fact, if you manage to fix it I will give it to you,” said the old man smugly. Aleena worked for days to repair the old car, mostly to spite the old man who she had dubbed, “That sexist bastard,” but also because she needed a car if she was going to continue on the journey. Five days after the challenge had been issued, Luna emerged from the garage during breakfast, grease all over the overalls the mans wife had lent her. “Well, I’m done. What, may I ask, is for breakfast?” “What!? You fixed it? Ha! You probably just painted it pink or something.” Said the old man acidly as he got up from the table. “Harold!” shouted his wife. “You know the rules, once you start breakfast you can’t leave till your done.” The man grudgingly sat back at the table, and did not utter a single word until Luna had finished her breakfast. She then led them into the garage to unveil the car. “Lady and Gentleman,” said Luna. “I give you your new, old car!” She then pulled on the cloth and reveled the car to the astonishment of the couple. The once faded red Plymouth Fury was a brilliant white with emerald green trim outlining some of the features. Aleena then reached into the car and turned the ignition. The ancient car came to life again; sounding like a roaring lion as the pistons began move and the spark ignited the fuel. “Well,” said the old man, defeated. “I guess you are much better with cars then I will ever be. As promised, the car is yours. Just do me one thing?” “What would that be?” inquired Aleena. “Take care of her as you would a child,” replied the man with a tear in his eye. “Don’t worry. I will.” ---------------------------------------------------| The following morning Luna pulled the car out of the driveway. The morning sun shining on the dashboard as she drove away from the house. The roof of the car was gone though, as Aleena had made a few alterations to the car that she never told the old couple about. Now, Aleena continues he life journey, wandering aimlessly, not knowing what she wants to do, or where to go.

Re: Character List
OoC:Here is my n00b character that I will probably fight in two battles than abondon forever type thing. Enjoy. BiC:...
Name: Pentlo Race: Penguin (transformed from human. See Bio) Age: 19 (In human years, not penguin) Height: 3’9” (1.1 meters) Weight: 40 lbs (‘bout 18 Kilos for you non-Englishriffic people) Sex: Male (Usually for penguins it is hard to tell, but his speech and facial features give it away almost instantly) Weapons: None. See “Abilities.” If I decide to develop this character further, I may give him a special penguin sword/staff, but until/if then: None. Abilities: Pentlo is foremost a mage. He uses vocal commands, coupled with concentration and meditation, to cast spells against his enemies: the traditional way to cast spells. He is not an expert but certainly isn’t a novice, he devotees much time to memorization and study of spells, and his knowledge of a vast array of spells is a formidable roadblock to any opponents efforts. I addition to his mage powers, Pentlo also has penguin abilities, such as “tobogganing” and being able to swim adeptly underwater for long periods of time. He is also able to give an extremly cute penguin face capable of melting the hearts of even some of the badass BA characters on this forum. Weaknesses: Pentlo is a penguin. While this gives him some advantages, it also can be his downfall. Pentlo is short, weak, and has a hard time gripping things. He is unable to render any sort of devastating physical attack, his beak and talons are not sharp enough for pecking and clawing, and he cannot wield any sort of weapons. Pentlo knows many spells, as I have mentioned before, but his knowledge of these spells is not 100% accurate. What Pentlo makes up for in volume he lacks in accuracy, so it is not unusual for a spell Pentlo is trying to cast to end up with no or unwanted results. These “unwanted results” can sometimes be advantageous after all, however… Appearance: Pentlo is 3'9", and weighs 40 pounds (he's a bit chubby). He looks like a Gentoo penguin, and has the characteristic Gentoo stiff tail, although he has yellow crests (which gentoos don’t have) and he has some human facial features, such as eyebrows and a curving beak to help him express human emotions. He carries a small, tan backpack with side pockets on his back that suits him quite nicely. ![]() OoC: Riku's_Girl drew this picture, but she didn't draw in the crests, so is doing some edits on it so it will be up soon, hopefully, you never know with R_G. BiC:.. Personality: Pentlo is rather easygoing, but that does no mean he is optimistic. Pentlo is often pessimistic about the present, but tries to be optimistic about the future (“Why be anything else” he thinks). Pentlo is somewhat of a stoic, he is not easily surprised at the misfortunes that tend to befall him, although he certainly wishes they wouldn’t happen. I a battle, he tends to be more afraid than steadfast, so he likes to run away. If he can’t run away, he will take whatever possible measures he can think of to disable his opponent. Pentlo also likes fish…very much. Bio: Once upon a time there was a mage person named Pentlo. He was an average mage person, meaning he did great and magnificent things, as all mages tend to do, making Pentlo quite average. One day he was strolling down the road, thinking about the use of teleportation spells to produce food, when a rather hot sorceress appeared in a puff of smoke right before his eyes. “Oh, Hi” said Pentlo, wondering why a hot-looking sorceress would suddenly appear in the road. “Greetings, pathetic mortal” she said in a very sorceress-like voice, “My name is Circe, and you are my new arch-nemesis!” “Really?” replied Pentlo, after thinking about what this might mean “Well…uh…why? I’ve never done anything to you, and you seem like a likeable person.” “Well, you see, I used to have another arch-nemesis, but I turned him into a fly, and he got stuck on a fly trap, and tore off two of his limbs in a futile effort to escape, and starved to death,” replied the increasingly obviously evil sorceress. “Ah, um…okay…” replied the nervous Pentlo, who thought that this lady was actually quite creepy now. “Alright, so I must do something evil to you now. Lets see…I KNOW! I’ll turn you into a penguin!” said Circe with an evil rasping laugh. Pentlo at this moment was quite concerned, being a penguin might not be incredibly convenient. Then Circe went up and touched Pentlo with her staff, and Pentlo shut his eyes in anticipaton of being a penguin. He opened them, and…NOTHING! Pentlo was relieved. “Ah, so I’m not a penguin now. Hooray!” said Pentlo. Pentlo got ready to do an uber spell against his arch-nemisis, when, POOF! He TURNED INTO A PENGUIN! (Bet you didn’t see that coming). “Oh dear” thought Pentlo, “I’m a penguin,” He noticed he was considerably shorter, but at least his backpack had shrunk with his body. ”HA!” exclaimed Circe”NOW YOU’RE A PENGUIN!”. “I noticed” replied Pentlo, who was still able to speak despite his transformation, “Well, at least I don’t have to worry about tuxedo rentals anymore…” “Damn, I did something good!” said Circe, slapping her forehead in frustration, “I guess I’ll have to counter it with something evil…I’ve got it!” Pentlo watched as Circe cast a spell, and then a leopard seal appeared in front of him! “Hey look!” said Pentlo “it’s a leopard seal! Did you know that leopard seals eat penguins? Hey! I just turned into a penguin...Oh…” Pentlo started running, with the seal chasing him, and he could hear the evil laugh off Circe echoing from the distance, fading and fading. He ran into a hilly area, but in his haste he ran up to a cliff, and was trapped between the precipitous edge of the cliff and the leopard seal! “Wait, I’m a bird…I can fly” he thought to himself, so he jumped off the cliff and started flapping his wings. Sometime during the fall, Pentlo discovered that penguins are birds, but they can’t fly. Thankfully, he managed to lose the leopard seal, but now he had a bump on his head. It was the most adorable little bump, since it was on an adorable looking penguin, but Pentlo didn’t like it one bit, for it hurt him so. Pentlo then remembered that a witch who specialized in animal transformations lived in a nearby village, so he straightened up the pack on his shoulders and head down the road, noticing suddenly that he now had a strong taste for fish. Pentlo had no trouble finding the witch’s house. It was at the edge of the village with many “Beware” signs erected by irate villagers whose relatives had been turned into frogs. Pentlo entered the house and heard a hissing voice say “You’d better get out if you don’t want to be changed into a freak animal!” “Ah, that won’t be necessary” Pentlo replied, “You see I came across this chick named Circe whe-“ “What?!” exclaimed the voice. Pentlo then saw the witch emerge from a curtain. She was quite, eh, “broadly built” as some of the villagers might say behind her back, but certainly not in her face, in fear of being part of her next poultry dish. She was wearing a blue dress that was quite pretty, but it didn’t quite accent her unkempt hair and unshaven face. “You…met Circe?!” the witch exclaimed, unbelieving “Ah…yes…her essence surrounds you, she is, a god, the best of the best. Ah, if I could meet her! She could teach me and-“. At this point, Pentlo was getting rather annoyed, for the witch was poking and prodding all over his little penguin body. “Well, um…I just wanted to come to you to get rid of this dumb enchantment” said Pentlo. ‘Why would you want to do that?” said the witch in wonderment. “I mean, its Circe’s work…but...” The witch then retreated into her kitchen, while Pentlo patiently waited, hoping she was cooking up some brew to get him out of this mess. It’s priceless!”. “That was mean” said Pentlo “So…is there no way to change me back then?” “There’s a way” replied the witch, “Since it is one of Circe’s spells, the only way to remove it is to eat a moly, which is an herb that you normally sniff to avoid her spells…but they’re very rare.” “I suppose I have no other choice but to find one then” replied Pentlo, “See you later…by the way, do molies taste bad too?” “Yes, and Goodbye, and don’t step on my husband on the way out” the witch said, pointing to a rather frightened looking toad that sat in the doorway. Pentlo got out of the house as fast as he could. And so thus began Pentlo’s quest for a moly which would take him on many exciting adventures, of course… OoC:... |
