Re: Character List
Approver: Me fellow flyin reptile, Tiroth.
Name: Kiada Inurie Age: Fourteen Race: Argonian Eye Color: Yellow Hair: Orange-brown, runs to the top of her shoulders. When summoning, her hair turns a bright red color, and seems to blow as it would in the wind. Height: I would say about, Four feet, eight inches. 4 ft, 8 inchs. Weight: Uhh... The approver could give me a little help with that please... Personality: Kiada is sincere and caring for dragons and humans alike. Being fourteen she has not yet become war-trained. She has gained little knowledge of loss, her fear for her friends is all that remains. She has a childish personality, but the heart of a mother. Appearance: She has orange hair that goes down to a few inches below her shoulders. Yellow eyes, a dark brown tiara, and a slightly pink lace choker, a dark. A slight pink taint on her long lace gloves, they go to a little further than her elbows. A slightly pink taint on her dress as well, which is a tight, though slightly ruffled, dress that goes down to just a little before the ends of her thighs, with buttons going through the front of it. Dark brown stockings that go just above the knees, covering from there down. The chest area of the dress is covered with a flap of dark brown cloth. The dress is also strapless. The dress continues at the end on the back half of the dress. Going a foot past her feet. She wears a pair of pink tainted high heeled shoes that go up to her ankles. Strengths: Kiada has a strong connection to dragons, giving her immunity to the various rogue dragons, they will not think to even approach her. She has also a great knowledge of wisdom for her age, able to teach, even the youngest dragon, obedience. Her magic skills are high, along with her intelligence, and with her small, slender figure. She is capable of menuevering very well. And she can also squeeze into tight spaces. Weaknesses: She has not many boundries as far as size, and wisdom go. But her strengths and defence are low, making her to be very cautious of where she gets stuck. If not able to summon, her life may be indangered, this has caused her many problems in the past. She has been forced to surrender to her enemies. Or death was surely the only path. Though, she can summon without any problems at all, so long as the dragon has not been summoned, and she has the energy to summon another. Weapons: None Skills/Magic: Dragon summoning, below is a list of dragons she may summon. Each dragon may only be summoned once every twenty-four hours. And she must wait two hours before summoning another. Each dragon also may remain on the field, so long as it hasn't exausted it's power. Kazardi,Kiada's loving Guardian Dragon. Her personality is rather... clumbsy, and stubborn. She even has a different level of emotion from the other three, she may become saddened easier, or even angered easier. Sometimes rather caring and joking at the same time. Being the fire dragon, her personality is also a little cocky, and sometimes foolish. Though she may show a, 'seductive' side. Though, rarely does she around a human. She would do it more around a dragon of the opposite sex. She has tried to fool with Ragath many times, ending with a shameful reply, on her behalf. She appears as a red dragon, with fiery wings, and fiery eyes. Her eyes also reveal her emotion, so when she is feeling down, her eyes' glow is dimmed. When feeling enthusiastic, the glow in her eyes is more joyous. Her tail has a demonic tip as well. Ragath, one of her Guardian Dragons, he is not always there for her. He is a stone dragon, several skills give him supreme power over the earth. Though his power over this element, he is dangerously weak against the element of water. He appears as a normal, brown dragon, to the naked eye. But with careful examination, you can notice stone armor on his limbs and vital parts. Viridia, Kiada's water Guardian Dragon. A female opposite of Ragath. Her mood is allot lighter than Ragath's ever will be. She has supreme control over the element of water. She appears as a sky blue, finned dragon, her eyes are slits with a layer of liquid covering them. Her ears are fins, and her tail has a large flipper on it. Though she has nostrils so that she may walk on land, and she also has gills for underwater. Her wings also look like large fins. Drying out however, is not one of her likings. She is weakened by the element of air. Eurose, one of the many Guardian Dragons on the continent, though he is more of a Guardian for the Dragon's Child, Janeen Karoga, he is also one of the dragons that Kiada may summon. Seeing that she could summon any friendly dragon from her land, had she the skills to do so. He is the air element dragon. He has a tender, and couragious personailty, he will defend any human with his life, were the human good. He appears as a green dragon, with sky blue, feathered wings. And two horns on the back of his head, they are yellow, and look somewhat like a lightning bolt. Biography: Kiada was faced with a dark past, and an even darker future. She was born four years before the Dragon Wars. The second year, after her birth. Her father had implanted a special gene into her blood, giving her the ability to summon dragons. Practically using her as a guinea pig for an experiment. To create summoners whom are able to control dragons. Before the Dragon Wars, dragons were very scarse in the land. Though, something had gone terribly wrong. Her mind called out to a dragon during the operation, the dragon sensed her pain, it came to her in the event of thinking that something had happened. Though, not quite knowing how, the dragon had a mental connection with the girl at all times after that. Her father was killed, along with everyone else in the area. She was returned to her mother. Whom discovered her husband's missuse of the child. Two years later, when Kiada was four. She discovered whom the dragon was, giving her the ability to call upon her at any time for comfort. It was at this time, that an earthquake occured. Kiada went to her mother, in the land of Argonia. The war, was in between the three countries, Argonia, Jouga, and Brandera. This causing a split war between the three, and the dragons that arrived through the hole. Ten years after the devestating war, Kiada had officially become a woman, in the Argonian customs. She may now bewed a man. Only by way of the engagement ceremony. It was that time, that Kiada had fallen in love, and had also been stabbed in the back. A boy, one year older than her, had asked for her hand in marriage. Seeing that the customs would allow any Argonian to marry at the age of fourteen. She soon told him of her gene implant. The boy then laughed at her, and told her to get lost. She went home and lay in her bed, crying for another's comfort. A dragon showed up beside her house, her wings blazing, and her eyes flaming with concern. She had lain outside the door, waiting for the girl to leave again. Kiada in her mind said that she would never trust another human being again, except for her mother. She was the only person Kiada could trust at this point. Kiada left the house, going to her own, small, sanctuary in the woods behind her house. The instant she left the house, she heard a kind, loving voice beside her. She turned and looked in the direction, it was Kazardi, the dragon whom helped her escape her father's treachery. She rano to her and hugged her neck, tears falling from her eyes. She explained the whole situation with her, she had been heartbroken at the boy's insult. Kazardi understood, she wrapped her head around Kiada, and said to words. "Don't worry." Kiada held Kazardi's neck. "Thank you," were the two words she said. She had stood there with tears in her eyes still, her heart broken. Kazardi saw it fit by now to show Kiada the other three. "Kiada, it is time for you to meet the others," she said. Kiada stood back in question, but Kazardi just lifted her head to her back, instructing Kiada to get on. Kiada did as it seemed she was told. And Kazardi flew off. Taking Kiada to a mountain. Once they had gotten there, Kiada got off, and noticed three other dragons, they were standing in a circle around a burning pit of flames. It was cold as well, so they had to stand around the fire. Kiada stood there, a little bit scared. But Kazardi nudged her to move forward. Kiada did, and she sat down around the fire. The other three introduced themselves as, Ragath, Viridia, and Eurose. They said they were the three other dragons watching over her, though Eurose was one more commonly watching everyone, including her. After a small talk, Kazardi took Kiada back to her home, and Kiada went to sleep. It wasn't long before morning came. Kiada remembered the event of the day before, but she payed little attention to it. Putting it back into the dormant, forgetful part of her mind... Or at least... She tried to. ~"I control the harmful, the harmless... I control the angry, the joyous... I control the childish, the mature... I control all that you see before you... Darkness and light... Water and fire... Earth and air... I control... The dragon..."~ She said to herself, though not sure of her words. She stood there, holding a hand to her heart. "I swear, this day, upon the words of a broken heart... Erik Kardain... I will find love again." Role-plays Finished: A Storm in the Meadow. Rising Light, and Guardian Dragon. |

Re: Character List
Approved by Wielder of the Sword Thank you.
Name: Umi Oni (also know as Water Demon) Sword’s Name: Niku Age: 30 Sword’s age: Currently 100, but now lives forever. Race: Demon (To be more specific, he is a devil.) Sword Race: Vampire (The sword used to be a vampire, so I guess you can say a vampiric sword. See history for more info) Sex: Male Sword’s Sex: Female (She was Female and still is.) Hair: Black hair that reaches half way down his back. Eyes: Blood red. Sword Eyes: Very dark blue (The sword’s eyes can be seen on the cross guard) Weight: 200 lbs. Height: 7’ 5” Weapon: Umi wields a wide sword that's he named Niku. The sword stands about 6 feet tall and down the middle of the sword there is a engrave port that runs through the sword. This port is used to unlock Niku’s skills. The hilt of the sword is one foot of the sword’s entire length; that makes the blade 5 feet tall. The hilt has cloth wrapped around it and is sealed there. Coming off the hilt is about a half foot long of her hair, which is pink. The cross guard is in the shape of bat wings and her eyes are also on the cross guard. The whole sword was made out of pure black adamantine. He also has black leather gloves with steel lining in it. Armor: None Strength: He is physically strong and when he gets hit or when his sword clashes with someone else, he recoils little, if at all, it depend on how strong the hit was. He can move his big sword around pretty quickly, almost as if he was not swinging a big sword, but a normal sized sword. His body heals small wounds only. The wounds have to be made by his sword only and the wounds heals fast. He uses his sword to block a lot; and his sword can’t be used against him because when someone attacks him with his sword, it goes through him because Umi’s father sealed Niku’s soul in the sword. The sword can see and talk so it can tell him if someone is coming from behind. The talking is done telepathy so his enemy does not know. Weakness: He does not run fast and he doesn’t evade by moving out of the way much. He is weak to fast moving spell attacks since he can’t evade that fast. Even though he doesn’t have a long recoil time, he can still be cut easily and he bleeds fast because of his sword’s need of blood. Because of the size of his sword and his weight, he can’t jump high and he has a problem fighting in places that doesn’t have a lot of room, like forests and cities. The wounds have to be made by his sword only for it to heal. He’s not good at using his fist, but he can. Niku hates Umi and sometimes lies about someone coming from behind. She is very talkative, so in the middle of battle, she will sometimes start an argument just to make him angry. He can only use his skill a limited amount of time because he will black out from loss of blood. Skills/Magic: All of his skills require the use of his blood to go into the port of his sword. The sword uses the blood to unlock its hidden skills that Niku has remembered. After Umi Oni cuts his wrist or hand, he put his cut over the port and says what skill to unlock. Niku then makes a vacuum at the port so she can get the blood she needs before his body heals him. Umi Oni has not yet mastered his skills or learned what he can do on his own. Niku has not remembered or mastered all her skills yet. Darkness cover - Gives the sword added protection so it doesn’t break when clashing against a stronger weapon. This uses little blood. Blood summon: level 1 - Summons a dog that has black fur, but people can‘t tell because the dog’s body is always bleeding. The dog is weak and is easily destroyed. This is the only summon that listens to Umi. Umi named the dog Killer in hopes that it will become stronger then his level 2 summon. Uses a small amount of blood. Blood summon: level 2 - Summons a wolf with brown fur and has a scar across his eye. This summon is special because it was Niku’s favorite summon when she was a vampire. The wolf’s name is Blood Bath, or BB his nick name. Blood Bath is fast and his bite is strong enough to break bones and rip flesh apart. The problem is that Blood Bath will only listen to Niku and is very loyal to her. He will never make a move with out her ordering him to. Blood Bath’s summoning takes both a lot of blood, so much that Umi some times start to black out, and both Niku and Umi Oni have to want to summon him if one or the other does not have the will to summon him, then the summon will fail. Umi doesn’t like summoning him because BB does not listen to him. Appearance: Umi Oni is tall and has big muscles. He wears a black cloak around him and it has a symbol of a big bat on the back of the cloak. He also wears light material pants that are mostly black, except for the flame design on the bottom of the pants. He wears a white, short sleeve shirt. He also has black leather gloves that he uses to fist fight with. He also has a rope around the back of him to hold up his sword and he has to change it ever time he takes his sword out to fight. Personality: Umi Oni hates everything and he trusts no one. He will attack anyone that tries to talk to him without warning. Anyone that has tried to talk to him is presuming to be dead. The only thing that he trusts is his sword called Niku, but he hates the thing so much. He has a sense of honor and if a warrior put up a good fight, he will let them live. Umi Oni love to fight and sometime will pick a fight with someone just to satisfy his love for fighting. He hates cities so he rarely walks into a them. Swords personality: Niku is talkative and complains, a lot. She hates Umi Oni, but is forced to stay with him because he is the first one to release her from her sleep. She loves to get Umi into a fight so she can satisfy her thirst for blood. She hates to be treated like a normal sword. She has no honor and thinks that all fights should end in death. She loves Umi Oni, but will never tell him that in fear of becoming weak and soft hearted. Biography: Umi Oni was born in the other world, the one people knows as hell. Umi’s father was the devil and his nickname was The Black Devil. Umi’s father was mean to everyone, including his own son. When Umi was born, he did not get a slap on his bottom, instead he was thrown upon the floor to see if he would live. The next day, his father made him wear weights, all the time, on his arms. Umi was not able to move on his own for about four years. He spent his time reading and hearing his father tell him how useless he was because he was unable to move. Umi learned to read from his mother, so he learned to read at a young age. Plus it was the only thing that his father let him do. When Umi was sixteen years old, he found a book that told about a legendary vampire that loved killing and was the strongest person in hell. Then, it went on say how the vampire was sealed away in the basement of his house. Then, the thing that made him happy, in an evil way, was the part that said, ”The vampire was so strong that the only thing the Black Devil could do was seal the vampire in his sword and let her sleep until the end of time.” This is perfect all I have to do is get into the basement and I’ll have the power to kill anyone. That night Umi went down into the basement and found the sword, but was caught by his father. “What are you doing in here son!?” His father yelled demanding an explanation from him being down there. “Nothing father! I’m just here to get the only thing that you can kill!” Umi yelled out and pulled the sword out of the ground where it had been sleeping for many years. When Umi pulled it out, a gust of wind came out of nowhere and the sword’s eyes opened up. The sword saw Umi’s father and she summoned her best friend, Blood Bath, with the last bit of strength she had left. “Blood Bath, kill him now! Don’t hold back go to level. 5!” The sword yelled out. “Yes master, as you wish,” The wolf disappears and came behind Umi father and put a hole through his body with out even trying. Then the wolf sat in front of Umi and said, “It is done master.” “Wait, how did you know that I wanted him dead?!” Umi said wandering what just happen. “He is not talking to you! He’s talking to me, I order him to kill him!” The sword screamed at Umi, “And one more thing, don’t go thinking that I’m a normal sword!” “You mean I now have this kind of power?!” Umi stood there with an evil look. “No, that was the last of my power and some things I've forgotten. You can unlock my power by giving me some of your blood. By the way, you have to give me a name, I forgot my name. One more thing, that was you father right?” she said. “Yes, why?” “Because, you can’t be hurt by me if someone else tries to use me against you, because you are his son, this sword is yours and was meant to protect you,” “Okay, well your name is Niku because I don’t like this sword, that was my father. I would leave you here but your going to make me stronger and my name is Umi.” They disappear for many years to train Umi to be able to lean to use Niku’s skills and to wield the big sword. They reappear after fourteen years to make their name know in history. |

Name: Emily
Race: Dryad Age: 20 Gender: Female Height: 4'0" Wieght: 150 lbs Eyes: Blue Hair: White Appearance: Dryads are a lot like fairies, but almost the size of Humans. She has four dragonfly wings, otherwise she looks like a teenage Human. She wears a skin tight unitard with no sleeves that is light blue. She keeps her hair in a ponytail, and it goes down a little past her shoulderblades. Her skin is dark tan since her race lives in the air, closest to the sun. As typical for her race, she also enjoys being outside a lot. Personality: Her instincts make her very wary of her surroundings, so she's usually looking at stuff, and losing focus on things. When she's in a fight, however, she's very focused. She's always very active; only staying in one spot for more than a minute if she's asleep. She loves to meet people, and often tries to interact with everyone in sight at the same time. She's happy and outgoing for the most part, and often gets scared before she gets angry. Weapons: She uses shuriken in the shape of windmills, so she can control them with her air magic. She uses daggers an other light weapons when close ranged fighting. Armor: She has leather gloves, boots, and a vest that she puts over her unitard. Nothing too heavy that would weigh her down. Skills: She can hover in midair, and fly backwards as well as forwards. She also has very good vision and hearing. Strengths: Great speed, agility, and magic are her strongest suits. Weaknesses: Low physical defence and offence hinders her close ranged fighting ability. She's a bit fragil, which is why she depends on magic and dodging techniques. Spells: Wind Blast: A strong blast of wind. Tornado: An Air move often used for defense and offense Air Tunnel: A move that she uses in combination with noise to disrupt the enemy's sense of hearing and balance Air Wall: A move that increases air friction, and slows down just about anything. A strong defensive move. Vacuum: Removes the air from an area gradually. Nice for suffocating large groups. Unfortunately, she must remain in a certain concentration pose to pull this spell off. Background: Emily's world is broken into four tribes: Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. The Air Tribe hangs above the clouds in cities that sustain their height by parachutes and ancient magic that creates a special type of hurricane. The hurricanes are so high that they don't destroy the land, but strong enough to cause updrafts across the globe. Where the updrafts are strongest, there are cities. In the city where Emily lives, she is an explorer. Her job is to find places for new towns, or nesting sites where birds live that are the main diet of Dryads. If anything of impoirtance is out there, she finds it and takes the information back to her parents. They use the information to help the economy and government. Emily also exchanges information with exploerers from other cities. The tribes have long been at war with each other for territory and resources. One is never able to conquer the other because each capital is guarded by a powerful Dragon of each respective element. These Dragons never attack each other because a fight between just two could drain oceans, and sink continents. So a delicate balance has been kept for centuries. The Fire Tribe poses the greatest threat to the Air Tribe, because they want to use the Air cities to bring themselves closer to the sun that enhances their fire magic. The Earth Tribe poses the greatest threat to the Fire Tribe because they fight over similar territories. The Earth Tribe also poses the greatest threat to the Water Tribe because they want to mine the sea floor. The Air and Water Tribes are reletively isolated, so they don't pose a threat to anyone. They just deal with their respective enemies.

Name: Trevor Viso
Age: 19 Race: Celestial Sex: Male Hair: Black Eyes: Green Weight: 190 lbs Height: 5'10 Weapon: Trevor carries the Blade of Zeus, a sword of godlike proportions. It looks like a Japanese sword only with a phoenix on the bottom of the blade before the handle, and is surrounded at all times with a celestial energy. Armor: Trevor is wrapped in the veil of Hera, which is actually an invisible barrier two millimeters above his skin. It is highly protective against bullets, sharp edges, and some weaker types of magic. Strengths: Trevor is incredibly skilled with his sword, and can also effectively wield the different types of his elements, light, & fire . He is actually quite agile, and can strike out multiple times without wasting any energy. Weakness: Trevor is weak against the elements of air water, and also dark magic. Though he is good with his sword, his skill with other weapons is not so great. Though he is fast, his blows don’t do a great amount of damage and when he is attacked during using his magic he can't perform it because he has to charge his magic power to bring it out okay. Skills/Magic: He can manipulate the three elements of water, ice and fire, as well as his own celestial energy into different forms, such as throwing them in balls, or imbuing his sword with them and when using magic he has to charge it and it takes a little while as well as when using it it is a little bit slow when being shot at the enemy. Personality: Trevor always tries to make friends and is a friendly outgoing person, but at times he does like to be alone. He treats whoever he meets like equals. He is not quick to anger, but can be if someone disrespects his mother or father. His gentle nature can sometimes get him into a lot of trouble, but he doesn’t mind, and will never stop being optimistic, even in the face of danger. Appearance: Trevor is the kind of person that would blend instantly with a crowd. His hair is quite long and is tied back in a ponytail, with a few strands of hair falling over his face. His eyes are a dark emerald green, which are set above his nose, which has the look that it has been broken once or twice. His teeth are quite white and evenly set, giving his face the overall handsome look. His arms and legs are unnaturally long, and he wears a set of grey trousers and three different shaped grey shirts, set off with a pair of black shoes. Around his neck is hung a small silver necklace, and he sometimes wears a pair of opaque shades. Biography: Trevor was born in Los Angeles, California, and he was supposedly born human. He was a happy child and grew up in his small house on the outskirts of the city, and had two brothers and one sister to play with. Until he was twelve he lead a normal life, except he found it hard to make friends, but he did have one, a girl called Abby. One his twelfth birthday his mother and father held a spectacular birthday party for him, which went great until he the cake arrived. As he was about to blow out the candles, half of the house exploded, killing one of Trevor’s brothers. Once the smoke had dispersed, a man dressed in black was stood there, his face blank. Without waiting for anyone to say anything, the man drew a sword and killed Trevor’s sister and brother, and then turned to confront his mother and father. But instead of trying to defend themselves, the two fell to the floor and began to pray, muttering strange words. Taking no heed to what they were doing, the man sliced off their heads, the headless bodies falling at his feet. Turning to Trevor, the man wiped his sword of the blood and prepared to kill him, but as he raised his sword a bolt of lightning shot from the heavens, striking the man’s sword and sending him flying into another wall. Another bolt of lightning followed, this one striking the ground in front of Trevor, and a man dressed in white and a woman dressed in grey appeared. Moving his hands in an intricate pattern, the man’s hands began to glow, and soon became balls of lightning. Gesturing to the small boy to follow them, the woman and the man began to walk away. As they left the ruins, the man in black ran out, but before he could near them the man in white turned round, and two balls of lightning shot from his hands, striking the man in the torso, sending him flying back into the ruins, which collapsed in on him. Sticking his hands in the air, the man watched as another bolt of lightning stuck them, this one making the three disappear. Closing his eyes as intensely white light surrounded him, Trevor fell to his knees, but moments later the light receded. Opening his eyes, Trevor found himself in place that looked like it was made of clouds. The woman helped him to his feet, and told Trevor that she was called Hera, and that the man was called Zeus. The names were instantly known to Trevor, since he had learned them in history lesson. They were Greek gods, the two most powerful of them all. Zeus informed him that his life was in danger, and that from now on he was to live with them. When Trevor asked why the man had attacked, the two just ignored him and told him to get some sleep. When Trevor awoke, he could hear the two gods talking, but he just ignored the talk and starting dressing himself. When he walked out of the room, the two looked at him, a nervous look on Hera’s face. Zeus told him that in order for Trevor to be able to beat what was trying to kill him, he must become a celestial, a type of lesser angel. His mind still filled with the images of his dead family, Trevor agreed. Zeus tapped him twice with a bolt of white light, and suddenly Trevor felt power coursing through him. For the next few year, the two gods taught Trevor how to fight and how to wield his magic, and also equipped him with the Blade of Zeus and the Veil of Hera. Once Trevor turned 17, Zeus told him that it was time for him to leave. Thanking the two for what they had done, the celestial left the place, returning to earth.[/quote |

Re: Character List
Name: Its unpronounceable alien name roughly translates to ‘Coldeye.’
Age: Unknown to anyone (176) Race: Translates to ‘all-knowing phantoms’ or ‘sipep’ (SY-pep) Sex: None. It reproduces by splitting (approximately every 500 Years) Eyes: Very dark, change colour when seeing in a different spectrum. Weight: 90 lbs Height: Seven feet tall, with a one-foot long neck. Weapon: Two nearly unbreakable silver-coloured spikes. Armor: It’s cloak is partially woven together with the metal used in the spikes, creating a nearly untearable fabric. Strengths: Extremely quiet when it wants, almost too quiet for human ears to pick up. It can see in multiple spectrums: thermal, x-ray, and visible light. Weaknesses: Due to it’s light weight, it can be tossed around easily. Warm places are hazardous to it’s health. If it’s blood temperature rises above 60 degrees it will rapidly decrease in energy and die within ten minutes. Skills/Magic: Coldeye has the ability to communicate with others telepathically by heating and cooling different areas of their body. It also has a cold aura around it, which can slow down opponents in close range. The control over thermal energy gives it the ability to control the temperature, making it drop, but only by 60 degrees. Personality: Coldeye keeps to itself, and will either avoid a fight, or kill the person it fights. It does not make friends, and follows the moto ‘non-interference is the prime directive.’ It is an all-around passive creature. Appearance: It has a long, narrow face which points at the chin. The face is featureless save it’s two dark narrow eyes, which change colour depending on what spectrum it’s seeing in. It’s neck is about a foot long, and is almost always at a low slant. All along the top of it’s neck is decorated with dark blue tattoos, which creep up part-way up the back of it’s head. The rest of it’s body is covered with a neutral grey robe, covering a thin, flexible body, and two silver-coloured spikes, which when wielded point down. It’s back is covered with the sharp, intricate tattoos displayed on the neck, and creep down to it’s boney wrists. It’s hands each have five fingers, plus an apposable thumb, equaling six in total. It’s feet resemble talons, with three toes at the front, and two protruding from the back. It’s skin is a very pale sky blue (which to the normal eye seems to emit a glow, though it does not), it’s tattoos a few shades darker, to make them stand out. It’s eyes are nearly always staring directly ahead, as if concentrating on something in the distance, and while stationary, it seems like a statue. History: All humans have goals. The scientists and researchers of Glaciterra XII had one particularly difficult goal, which was to reach absolute zero, the coldest temperature ever conceived. And what a better place to do it than an ice planet? They had read on their various devices and scanners a very cold area was present on this planet, and so they strapped on their bulky heat suits, and started a trek towards the super-cooled ‘splotch’ of pure, solid black on the digital map they carried with them. There were three, a female, a younger man, and an older male. It wasn’t very far, for the frozen planet was very small compared to Earth, but once there, the three found a cave, with odd grooves carved along the sides. They couldn’t discus what their next move would be, because that would waste oxygen and heat, so they all just went in, delving into a cold darkness. Once in, they turned on special glow receptors which used their own energy to power themselves, but the artificial light only stretched a few feet ahead of the group, only enough to avoid tripping, or running into a wall. They walked down the circular tunnel, until reaching a large, perfectly circular room, ceiling held up by four very dull-looking pillars, either coated with, or made of, a shining silver substance, which, after being struck by a diamond-pointed chisel, wouldn’t scratch. The young male pulled out a small device, similar to today’s blackberries, or palm pilots, and started taking notes on it. The other two decided to explore the rim of the room, and once there, found odd statues. Their faces were blank, save two eyes which seemed to stare endlessly forward. They had long necks, which protruded from robed bodies. The female took out her chisel and pounded on part of the statue’s long robe, and heard the sound of ice cracking. She hit it again. Another piece of ice broke off, fully exposing a square inch of the cloak. It was dull grey in colour, and felt like a manufactured cloth. The two explorers, plus the one who was scanning the pillars, set to work chiseling the entire statue out from the negative fifty degree ice. Once they were done, they sampled various sections of it’s body, prodding them with the ends of highly sensitive thermometers. The older male poked what they believed to be it’s forehead, and a bright flash appeared in front of his eyes, as well as the others, and they were suddenly in a massive city, made of pure ice. They could not move, or rather, someone else was in control of their bodies, as if they were watching a movie in a first person perspective. The first thing they saw were hundreds of biped creatures, not unlike the statue they examined beforehand. They all wore the exact same thing- grey hooded robes with seemingly no partings for arms. They all just walked doing their jobs, like robots, but with actual intelligence. Nothing seemed to excite them, and they seemed to communicate through some sort of telepathy, or by a very hard-to-see body language. Another flash in front of the researchers’ eyes lead to the same scene, but the whole thing was a lot gloomier. The creatures’ faceless heads were much droopier, and their once sky blue faces had a greyish tint. Their narrow eyes had a bored, tired look, and the scientists detected a decline in the social unity of the place. The creatures ‘conversed’ less frequently. Something very depressing must have happened, perhaps there was a war... Fwooosh! A small ball of what seemed to be fire blazed into a crowd, and exploded. The creatures not caught just kept walking, those who did accepted death. Whatever controlled the explorers’ bodies turned so they could see the attacker, or rather, group of attackers. They looked like flames with limbs. They were biped, as well, and their heads were hidden in their fiery-looking coat of hair. These are what caused the depression in their city. Another flash, and a battle scene came before the scientists’ eyes. They were in the same chamber they were before these illusions started, but a giant flaming creature, like a lizard, with one of the attackers from before mounted on top, waited in the center for the statues, which were now obviously frozen corpses from this fight. A veil took place around the researchers’ eyes, and they could see the thermal spectrum. Black streams, emanating from the blue creatures’ six-fingered hands (which stuck out from the front of the cloak, through an unseen slit or opening) signified cold, and one of the ‘statues jumped at the creature, sending cold from all around it. A ‘black’ explosion occurred, and the fiery beast and it’s rider were frozen in place, the temperature of the ice probably approaching -200 degrees Celsius. But all the ‘statues’ were frozen as well, and another bright wink brought them back to reality. They looked around, and instantly noticed an eerie blue glow produced by the frozen corpses. They walked up to the beast frozen in the center, but didn’t make any contact with the ice, and found that there was an imprint of a biped creature punched into the frozen obelisk, and they all felt chills slither down their spines. Then, suddenly, the glass of their helmets shattered, and they were quickly consumed by the cold. They had revived Coldeye. ~ Thanks to Alek and his inspiring ‘Mysterious Being’ sketch, and Tiroth for approving. |

Re: Character List

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Selenanth Aria Title: Princess of the Feroth Royal Family Nickname: Sele Age: 220 (22 in dragon years) Race: Royal Water Dragon Gender: Female Hair: Light, almost-white blue Eyes: Light blue as human, yellow-green as dragon Weight: 125 lbs as human, 725 lbs as dragon Height: 5’ 8” as human, 9’ 8” as dragon Weapons: Her teeth and claws mainly as a dragon though she can create weapons out of ice as well. Armor: None as a human but her dragon skin is hard to pierce. Strengths: While she doesn’t have the absolute brute strength of a male dragon, she can still easily take chunks out of something with her claws. Her real talent is in her maneuverability as Sele can easily out- swim or out-fly an opponent, using hit and run techniques to cause damage. She also is able to use her innate abilities with ease. Being a princess, she was trained to be able to find nonviolent answers to problems. Now, Sele simply uses that training to talk people into doing things for her that they might otherwise not do. Weaknesses: Selenanth was never formally taught how to fight so she doesn’t have the experience most warriors would have. She also tends to pick fights if a person offends her in anyway. The dragon has a large weakness of any kind of electricity, which can easily hurt her. Her human form can hardly fight leaving her almost helpless if she can’t change into a dragon. Dragon Anatomy: A normal dragon has actually two sets of lungs, one set for breathing and one set for breathing fire. One of the extra lungs takes in oxygen from the blood, and also water. The other lung is like a reverse vacuum, forcing the oxygen and water out of the mouth. On the way there, a small gland in the back of the throat ignites the oxygen, getting rid of the water, and the ignited oxygen shoots from the mouth, giving the impression that the dragon is breathing fire. In Selenanth’s case, her species is completely different. Like normal dragons they have the extra set, but the body keeps these lungs at sub-zero temperatures, freezing the water and cooling down the oxygen. The vacuum lung expels this out of the throat without it being set alight, since her species do not have the ignition gland. In short, water dragons can’t “breath” fire but can “breath” water and ice instead. Skills/Magic: Breath-Taking a deep breath with the first of her second set of lungs, she uses the other to breath out ice shards at her opponent. The ice breath can also be used to freeze a small amount or area of water. By allowing the ice to melt in her mouth, Sele can also breath out water at the opponent, though not quite as forcefully. Icy Torrent-Another breath attack. First, she allows ice to melt in her mouth and form a large amount of water. Then she takes another deep breath but doesn’t allow that ice melt. Using the force of the breath, she expels the ice and the water at the same with a high pressure. The water to mainly to prevent the opponent from blocking or dodging while the ice shards do the bulk of the damage. However, building up enough water for this attack is time-consuming and, if constantly attacked for a short period, she will accidentally open her mouth and let the water out. Forge- The only magic she can use in human form. Using her lungs to breath out super-cooled air, she can freeze the water particles in the air into any weapon ranging from a dagger to a spear. However, the ice weapons will break under enough pressure and can melt if the temperature is too warm. Sele only uses this skill if she or Drakon cannot change into their dragon forms. Whirlpool- Sele can only use this attack if she is near a large body of water. By swimming at high speeds in a circle, she can create whirlpools that hopefully drag the opponent underwater and drown them. However, this is her most time consuming attack since it requires a long time to create the vortexes. Swimming at such speeds also wears out Sele quickly, a dangerous prospect if the opponent isn’t vanquished by the attack. Melt- An ability that can only be used while submerged. Selenanth can absorb a large amount of water into her cells to the point were they are ready to burst. Because of the expansion, the cells can’t retain their pigment and become clear. The effect is that she can become almost invisible underwater. This allows her to make a quick escape or easy sneak attack. However, because of all the water, she becomes even more vulnerable to electrical attacks. She also becomes a larger target and not quite as fast as she usually is. Appearance: As a human, Selenanth wears a beautiful black dress that shows some of her cleavage and had a slit down the side to allow her move with ease and also to show off her body. Four strands of black beads that cross over her left shoulder hold up the dress. There is also a decoration of white beads that goes across her abdomen. She has an unattached sleeve on her left arm that is also black and ends with a decoration of black and white beads in a circle pattern. She wears black, high-heeled shoes that are easy for her to walk in and not uncomfortable. Sele has white bead earrings on both ears and her long, light blue hair is held in a ponytail by a black beaded holder. ![]() As a dragon, her true form, Sele has light blue skin-like scales. Her eyes change from a light blue to a yellow-green. She had a line of light blue fur that travels from her head all the way to the end of her tail; it is mostly to protect her spinal cord but provides some warmth. She has horn above her eyes that are yellow-green in color and her claws are also the same color. She tends to walk on all fours but can also walk on only her hind legs. Sele’s feet have some webbing in-between to help her swim quickly. Her wings are thin but long and allow her to fly with great speed. By folding right next to her body, her sinewy form allows her glide underwater as well. ![]() Personality: Being born as a princess, Selenanth carries a regal air around her, whether it is how she talks or walks. She is also a very proud dragon but not to the point where she is self-centered. Sele also has a strong hatred of humans and a dislike for those who easily mingle or even resemble humans. Even though her tolerance for humans has increased since she is forced to live in a world where they rule, seeing a human suffer brings her pleasure. The only person she feels comfortable around is her guardian, Drakon. She has secretly fallen for him, however, because she is only able to marry other dragons that are of the same status as her, she can never proclaim it or even show it slightly. The princess will also never announce who she is unless the circumstances absolutely call for it, instead simply being referred to as “Sele”. Biography: Selenanth Aria was born on a planet known as Trason, which was fourth-fifths covered in water but the earth was covered by ice, making it almost uninhabitable. It was under the water that she was born in the dragon city known as Feroth. The city covered about one-fourth of the underwater surface and was covered by a clear dome itself. Here, the dragons lived as masters while humans were slaves to their whim. Sele was born to King Dramas and Queen Merina. She had only one sister who as year old and named Arananth. The younger princesses lived a luxurious life, always with other dragons over her class and attended by humans. However, she was a little adventurous for the regal life and always wondered what it was like to live outside the dome. She had heard stories of humans who weren’t under dragon dominion and lived to bring them down. She spent a large amount of her time romanticizing about battles against these rouge humans. One day, to her excitement, a new dragon was brought forth before the royal family to become a guardian, her guardian. The younger dragon went by the name of Drakon Atha and he had apparently been rescued from humans when a draconic force attacked their headquarters. There was something different about Drakon that attracted her and she instantly took a liking to him. The princess would frequently ask him to tell stories about being around the humans and what they were like. Though he seemed a little reluctant, he would always entertain her. During the times that Drakon was away to train to be a better guardian, Selenanth was also trained to use her innate abilities, though just to know how to use them and not to fight. Over the years, Sele began to fall in love with the younger dragon. However, guardians were recommended not to marry and the royal family could only marry others who were of similar stature, which Drakon was not. She was actually supposes to marry Kiras Mehoin, a regal dragon from another city, Niroth. Both their parents wanted the marriage to help the relationship between the two cities, which wasn’t going wrong at all. Selenanth was disappointed with the arrangement but only told her sister and even then wouldn’t tell her exactly why. Then came the day that Drakon was to receive the mark of a guardian of the royal family. Sele was infinitely pleased that he was now a true guardian but couldn’t help noticing that he looked grim during the proceedings. However, he wasn’t that way during the celebrations afterwards and they danced together a great deal. After the party, she and her mother and father gathered in the throne room to discuss this new addition to the guardians. However, before they barely started, a might explosion ripped a hole in the palace’s ceiling. From came dozens of humans, all carrying guns. The guardians that had stayed with them immediately attacked the humans but only killed a few before being gunned down by the massive artillery. Her own father even tried to protect them but was felled and her mother soon followed. Her sister, however, was nowhere to be found that night. Growling fiercely but knowing attacking would be futile, Selenanth backed away from the advancing humans into a corner. They didn’t fire upon her, probably wanting to take her prisoner. Fortunately, Drakon burst into the throne room. He glanced at the humans for only second before advancing on them and killing them all. After the battle, the last guardian checked to see if the last member of the royal family was unhurt before evacuating her from the palace. He told her that it would be best to leave Feroth and to travel in a human, both which Sele agreed to. But as they fled the city, Sele was able to see the force with which the humans were attacking the great dragon city. The rouge humans didn’t have much of a force to begin with but the slaves rose up by seeing the victory over the royal family. Selenanth wanted to turn back but Drakon knew that would only lead to her death. He convinced her that leaving now and returning another time would be better than trying to head back now. She departed from Feroth almost in tears and followed her guardian up to the surface of the planet. From there, the two took a series of hidden portals that led them from Trason altogether. Now living on a planet that isn’t her own, the last princess promises her people that she will come back one day to see the city restored. For now, she relies on her own strength and the strength of her guardian.

Re: Character List
Aproved by Linkmastersword. ~
Name: Amy Amandil, The Elemental Guardian Summoner Age: 18 Race: Human Sex: Female Hair: Medium length, raven black hair with a parted fringe Eyes: Green Weight: 54 kilograms Height: 5’6 Weapons: Eltrialad- A heavenly angel broadsword enchanted with the power of righteousness. It can harness and conduct elemental, demonic and angelic energy. The blade is strong and virtually indestructible, and it has an almost reflective surface. The blood canal thickens near the base of the blade. The top part of the hilt is gold, and the edges are fashioned to make angel wings. Lining this part are 6 perfectly shaped gems-a ruby, a sapphire, an emerald, an amethyst, a topaz and a diamond. The lower part of the hilt is platinum with silver wire which wraps around it. The pommel stone is a small zircon. Taintria AAD/6- This weapon appears to be a projectile weapon of some sort, but the purple haze around it makes it almost impossible to see. This is in fact handgun that fires orbs of shadow energy at lethal speeds. It is a weapon influenced by demonic force. Strengths: Amy firmly believes that she can beat a male in something if she believes she can. The summoner excels at her summoning techniques even though she has not possessed this power for long. She is an expert at defensive tactics with both sword and magic. Weakness: Amy is overly confident that she can best any boy or male in battle to a certain degree. This trait is not something she notices when up against a 7 foot demon. Amy is also kind of slow and her sword skills aren’t too special either. She isn’t that tall so that provides a weakness in battle. She is only able to summon one guardian at a time, and she relies on them mostly instead of her own skill when she needs to use it most. Abilities: Amy has the ability to call the Great Elemental Guardians from their respective sanctuaries. The Guardians can only be summoned if she has enough strength to do so. The summoning process is complex and can very easily be interrupted if her concentration is broken or if she sustains a major wound. This process must be done exactly right but she has taken time to master it to a degree. The summoning consumes quite a bit of Amy’s energy, rendering her vulnerable for a short time after. The Guardians also have a set amount of time they are allowed to remain outside of their domains. Once that time is up, they are teleported back to the sanctuaries once again. The Dragons each have a unique, powerful attack they can use. However, once they use it, they automatically return to the elemental sanctuaries. Also, once a Dragon has been summoned in a fight, it cannot be summoned again for the duration of a full 24 hours. Elemental Guardian Summons: Water Guardian - Deepcoiler (male) The deepcoiler was thought to be a complete myth- the giant sea serpent is capable of shrinking down to the size of a worm and being carried away with the tide to a closer water source. The deepcoiler has a long, thick serpentine body which is blue. Green spikes protrude form his back, and the tip of his tail looks very much like a glove; though it has 6 blood red spikes on it. The deepcoiler may look vicious, but it has a kind nature and was praised for this by residents of Scotland- though, they changed his name to the loch-ness monster and mistook him for a girl. -Signature attack - Tidal Vortex – A consuming surge of water is spouted out from deep coiler’s mouth, which then leaps across the land and hits opponents. Fire Guardian - Blacksmith (male) The blacksmith appears as a man wearing a torn brown singlet and a green tunic, but underneath his transforms into a towering demon of fire. He ahs a grey beard and black hair, and wears simple boots. He also holds a hammer with a fire symbol on one side. This is called steel death and when it comes into contact with a metal, it will explode into millions of pieces. -Signature attack – Inferno Assault – The blacksmith draws great amounts o fire to him, and then he unleashes them upon the enemy in great swipes of his hammer. Air Guardian - Zirlcrane (female) Zirlcrane has often been depicted as the queen of phoenixes. She is indeed very much like one- besides the fact that she is much larger. Her feathers are very light blue- on her chest they are blue with a darker shade surrounding it. Three long and curly feathers protrude from her head. These are blue, and her tail is rather similar. When she spreads her wings it is seen that they are at leats three times as big as her body. -Signature attack - Whirling Maelstrom – Huge gusts of wind slice at opponents with razor-sharp accuracy. Zirlcrane then zooms in and crashes into the enemy. Earth Guardian - Pixeria (female) Pixeria is extremely small and almost unbeknownst to man. This tiny fairy flits from flower to flower, constantly caring for them. Her wings are pink with strange decorations of purple. She wears a green dress with a brown suit underneath. In her hand she holds a miniature sunflower, her wand. She has long brown hair and holds the essence of “cuteness” This is but a façade of her true form, though- she becomes a giant at will, with her nails becoming sharpened daggers and her arms transfigured into actual branches of a tree. Below her knees are the same, and her feet end in roots. Her skin is rock hard -Signature attack – Death Blossom – Poison Ivy zooms from the ground and entangle the opponents. This is followed up by boulders which zoom into the sky and explode, showering enemies with shards of earth. Shadow Guardian - Sirodan (unknown) Sirodan is mysterious No one knows what it looks like, its gender or its shape- it has never removed the deep mass of darkness surrounding it and all that can be seen Is its red eyes. They say that only a true guardian summoner can control Sirodan, for shortly after being summoned it may escape and go on bouts of terrifying people. Amy has yet to tame this beast, however. -Signature attack – Darkness vengeance – A mass of shadow envelopes opponents, rendering them sightless. The darkness blocks out all air as well. Sirodan then summons multiple imp demons to assault the opponents, and then it fades away. Light Guardian - Mathiel (male) Mathiel is the very figure of angelic heroism. This being towers 16 feet high, and his face is covered by a golden mask. His great sword Finality was once held by great warriors residing on earth. Now, it ahs come to rest in Mathiel’s hands. He has white blond hair that reaches his shoulders, and wear s long white robe, covered by a white tunic, He also wears an elaborate silver breastplate. -Signature attack – Radiance myriad – Mathiel holds his giant sword into the air and a ray of light flies down from the heavens to hit his sword. Mathiel then points the sword at the opponent and multiple beams of light are fired from it. Appearance: Amy is a reasonably short young woman. The summoner has raven hair that flows down to her shoulders. Her fringe is parted in the middle to reveal her face. Amy has dark green eyes and her expression is most often serious; however she will most often be smiling. Her eyes may often be squinted for an unknown reason. Amy is strong for a girl and she has a rather thick build. Amy will usually wear a striped long sleeved t-shirt that is coloured red and yellow. She will either wear long dark jeans or blue long pants. Amy wears a diamond in her pierced ear which has tiny other gems in the middle of it. This is circled by gold and Leliel wears the other. This is not that apparent. She looks much “built” not muscular, a heavy body shape, though not fat. Personality: Amy is strong-willed and is a strong person, inside and outside. She is humorous mostly but has an air of obedience around her. She is perfectly capable of taking care of herself and others. She may be classified as a rebel in many aspects. Amy will do anything to protect those that she cares for. Her friendship is something that is not to be passed off lightly- thus why she makes such a good team with Leliel. She is very tough for a girl, as well. Biography: Amy’s story is a complicated one. Her memories of before have all but vanished from her mind- The first thing she can remember is of her stepping into a light and appearing in a plane of reality that is almost surreal; The landscape of it was seemingly blank except for the atmosphere which was like she was underwater. Figures, those not unlike herself, sat down on the hazy white floor and stared into nothingness. Several times Amy attempted to wake them up, but they stared at her, sighed, and then went back to whatever they were doing. For days, Amy wondered this wretched plane of existence. Many times did she witness creatures appear out of nowhere and bring someone through where they came from. Amy had a hunch- perhaps it was where you came to die? Her suspicion was incorrect, though not far from it. 3 days after she had entered there a white holed opened up in front of her. Appearing out of nowhere. Thinking of nothing else to do, Amy shielded her eyes and stepped into the light. Before her was a small chamber. Roman pillars supported the marble room, and there was no visible exit. This was not her primary concern after her entrance to the mystery place, though. Before her was a magnificent sword- it was suspended in an ornate glass cabinet, and small steps led to it. The cabinet lay on top of a small pillar, which was small and decorated with pictures of angels. Amy could think of nothing else to do- she walked quietly up the steps and reached her hand towards the cabinet. Upon Amy touching it, though, it vanishes and all that was left was the sword, hovering above the pillar. The girl reached for it, and it floated into Amy’s hand. Amy could feel the power flowing through her; this was a special sword, she could feel it in her veins. Her thoughts were interrupted by a flash of prismatic light that blinded her…. She was above the clouds. White mist swirled lazily around her ankles, making it seem like she was on top of a mountain. Standing directly in front of her was a towering figure- Fog swirled about it, and as it cleared, Amy could dimly make out the shape of a human body. This was no human, though. It was a giant- It was about three times Amy’s height, at least. Amy stepped forward and the edge of a gargantuan blade landed in the ground (or was it? Amy couldn’t tell) and the fog disappeared completely. The giant wore a golden mask, fashioned strangely to show no emotion. The sword was held in the cupped hands of the giant, and it wore a white robe with a similar tunic. It looked down at the tiny being before it and a booming voice rang out across the great space. “Welcome, Amy, Wielder of the great Eltrialad.” Amy was dumbstruck by the being. It answered with a great authority, and she felt honoured that it had addressed her so. The young woman brushed a stray hair out of her face and replied quietly. “Hello...” The being nodded solemnly seemingly impressed by the simple and unworthy comment. “A great task has been granted to you, Amy. Your destiny is written- though you can change it with a simple flick of the sword you hold so readily in your blessed hands.” Amy gripped the blade tighter and looked down at it. It was indeed a wondrous thing- The hilt’s top was gold, and the edges ended into the shapes of wings. The handle was entwined with silver wire, and the handle itself was platinum. In the space between the two golden wings were 8 indents. The great being in front of her held out his sword and pointed at it. “Your task is clear. This sword holds the power of elements and light. You must gather the elemental guardians and bring them together. Each holds a great gem in their power- you must gather these gems and place them in the sword. The sword will lead the way to the guardians themselves.” Amy looked up at the giant man and bowed her head, thinking of nothing to do. The great angel standing in front of her lowered his clenched hand and opened it, revealing a small perfect topaz. Amy reached out and took it, fingering it in her fingers. She could definitely feel the power flowing from it. The angel leaned down and stared Amy in the face. “Every time you gain a new gem, you will obtain the power to summon one of us guardians to your aid. I am the leader of the guardians- Mathiel, the radiant. Finished is this meeting of destiny- you will descend to earth and travel far to bring us together, and unite the forever separated powers so the darkness shall not prevail. Now farewell, and may the light always shine on you.” After that Amy did indeed descend to earth. She was in a different place, though- She was standing on a ruined castle situated in the clouds. How she would get down she had no idea, but the idea was dizzying. As she watched a stray white bird flutter curiously out of nowhere- Amy blinked, and then did it again. How in the world could a bird survive up here? It was practically in the middle of the heavens. She looked over the edge of the floating castle and saw a cornfield as a small dot. She turned to watch as the bird surveyed her, its blue eyes never leaving her. That was when an idea struck her. maybe it is one of the guardians. Mathiel didn’t exactly describe them. She walked up to the bird and her sword hummed with energy, a sign that it was nearing its next goal. The bird opened its beak, as if it was tired, and words entered into Amy’s mind. Telepathy. so the wielder has arrived. Well met. Amy was in a state of shock so the bird followed up his own thoughts again. another mortal…strange, the choices Mathiel makes. But I can sense you are strong in mind and will- and you are a female, like me. We can’t go wrong this time. There was an ear-piercing boom, and before Amy stood a colossal bird. It was the same as the little white bird that was before her earlier except its head had many curly feathers on it and the same with her tail. One of the tail feathers held a diamond in it, the feather flowing lazily in time with its breaths. It flicked the diamond high into the air, and without warning, Amy’s sword flew towards it and they combined. The diamond flew into one of the indents. Amy noticed that the topaz she had received earlier was in one of the indents as well. The great bird winked slyly at Amy. Now that you have it…It is time for you to take your leave. I can assist you in that. Eventually Amy learned that the bird’s name was Zirlcrane. The magnificent white phoenix flew Amy on her back to the ground, where Amy searched of the rest of the guardians. She persuaded deepcoiler to part with his gem, then summoned Zirlcrane and repeated the process with the rest of the guardians. It eventually came to pass that Amy would have to enter the drasqueli veronic, the cave of impending death, where the darkness guardian lurked. Amy was surrounded by the beats, but eventually the guardian surrendered, impressed with Amy’s courage. She then swayed and fell to the ground, utterly exhausted by her effort. It was there where she met Leliel. She was healed by the angel and she sensed a strong power of righteousness exuding from her. Leliel entrusted Amy with an encrusted earring, saying that it would be something that would let her summoning power flourish in this realm. She also told her that she was a witness and victim of the darkness that had supposedly been taking over the land. They decided to travel together, and neither of them has regretted the decision. To their dying days they will forever be friends, unknowing of the real meaning of their undying partnership. Name: Leliel Age: 24 Race: Wind Angel Sex: Female Hair: A very similar haircut to Amy’s, though slightly shorter and wavier. Her hair colour is blonde, and almost white. Eyes: Sapphire Blue Weight: Her weight is 58 kilograms, but she technically has no weight when she has her wings showing. Height: 5’7 Weapon: Bloodsteel- This finely crafted blade was made specially forged for her by the village blacksmith Grouse. The blade itself is made of steel with a mithril tip. The hilt is red, with a striped of gold on it. The upper hilt is pure gold. This blade holds no magical properties or historical significance. Leliel often binds the hilt with grey cloth for grip. Leliel is also capable of wielding Eltrialad, and has used other blades in the past. Armour: Leliel has used chian mail frequently in the past and does so when up against a formidable foe or when in a war. Over her chain mail she will wear elaborate pieces of plate armour, and grey cloth over the torso. She also wears steel gauntlets, decorated to look like angel wings. She wears similarly styled boots. Strengths: Leliel, being an archangel, is strong against the forces of darkness and shadow. She can fend off demons easily and she has quite some skill with using Bloodsteel. She excels at using healing magic and using wind and light magic, though defensive and retaliation skills are her forte. Weakness: Leliel is frail and physically weak. A hit from any weapon can cause major damage to her. She dislikes hurting people very much and will only use her power in defence or if she is assisting Amy. Leliel has a slight fear of the opposite sex and will either become extremely shy when in their presence or ignore them. When in battle this makes her very nervous, affecting her battle skills. Being struck by a demonic blade will cause her to fade into nothingness in exactly 6 hours, 6 minutes and 6 seconds. (And 6 milliseconds...and so on) Magical Skills: Spirit Soothe- Leliel can heal a troubled spirit or heal a damaged person who has been struck by a demonic force or if it has escaped from the body by unnatural means. A swirling light blue aura emits from her hands when she uses this. Angel’s Whisper- Leliel blows softly into the air, and a wind erupts from it- causing all who is in it’s proximity to be battered by it. The wind is coupled with light magic, so this is also effective against dark magic users, undead and demons. Light Command- This ability gives Leliel the ability to absorb light from the atmosphere and throw it at an enemy. Before releasing it upon the enemy she will concentrate it until it is powerful enough. This is quite strong and considering she draws it from the atmosphere, it does not take up much energy. Serenity Deflection- Leliel creates a small shield of magic which is the absorbed into the shield. The shield resembles water, as it ripples when a spell touches it. She then encases the magic inside the shield, thus adding it to her own magic. She must expel this newly acquired magic from her body quickly lest it mingles with her own power inside her body. She can mix the magic with her own once it is outside her body, though. Of course she can only hold certain amounts of the magic itself. Extend Wings- Leliel’s wings protrude from her back, and her hair grows one foot longer. This reverts back to normal after she chooses it to. Another detail of this transformation is that her hair grows by about a foot. Angelic Abilities: These abilities are usually only useable by Leliel when her wings are showing; and are abilities granted more of her angelic traits, not her actual magic skill. Saint's Agility- Gives Leliel the power to zoom through the air at terrifying speeds and attacks the enemy. This form only lasts for about 5 seconds and is mostly used for one strong attack. This helps in confusing the opponent as well. Taint Cleanse- Heals all kind of demonic curses or afflictions on somebody. This also applies to wounds caused by the undead and any kind of evil thing, to a certain extent of course. Fly- Leliel takes to the skies. Leliel surprisingly dislikes flying and when she is travelling with Amy she has to fly at the same speed she walks, so it is handier to walk herself. Creators Invocation- Leliel summons the power of god to banish a demon or unholy creature to either hell or the azure prison of the unholy- the places where demons with terrifying power are held. This of course is extremely tiring. Divine Intervention- Leliel calls upon the gods to heal her and anyone in the vicinity of all wounds, diseases, maladies and conditions. The gods exact a price, however; Leliel will age ten years temporarily, (she will steadily grow younger again) and she can only use this 3 times every day. Appearance: Leliel is the very picture of angelic innocence. She is 5’7 and has wavy blonde hair that is almost white. Her hair rests neatly on her shoulders and it shines brightly when in the light. Leliel has blue eyes and very smooth and innocent facial features. The angel has a somewhat small thin body, and wears a long white robe with golden decorations at the endings of the sleeves and the bottom of the robe. The robe also has a hood with the same golden designs on it though she doesn’t often wear the hood. Under this she wears a silky translucent dress with no sleeves. She wears a large silver cross attached to a golden chain beneath her robe. Her wings are pure white, and they are transparent unless you “activates them” by making them visible. Her wings are about 4 feet long, but she can expand them to 7 feet. Her ears are slightly pointed and are longer than average. In her left ear she wears a diamond with tiny other gems in the middle. It is outlined by gold, and Amy wears the other. Her ears are ever so slightly pointed. Leliel- ![]() Personality: Leliel is one of the purest beings to walk the earth. She is kind to everyone and has never sinned once in her life. She only dislikes a few things, namely killers, evil beings and demons. Leliel is also rather shy, especially around men. She did not grow up with a father so she has little to no understanding of human males, but her assumptions are that they are the complete opposites of the male angels she has met. She is a very innocent person overall, and in a fight she may give mercy several times before deciding that she must beat the opponent. Biography: wind blew mercilessly over a single strand of grass, battering it to the ground. Like its green companions, it stood no chance against the assailant, and was forced against its will. Yet it held in its place; with all its power, it held, and endured the wind. No one would witness such a simple act- yet what it displayed could be found in greater form not far away. An elf, going by the name of Fanelius was sorely wounded. The elf, the last survivor of a tribe of wind elves, had been ambushed by 6 dark elves. The possessed beings fought like madmen, but they were no match for the skill of a wind elf warrior. For all he knew, he was the last of his kind, and there would be none to carry on the traditions and customs of the wind elves. It was a sad sight to behold, but such was life. He would fall to the earth for the air to carry away him into the wild blue yonder. What he saw next was strange- there was a house, and a sparkling light drifted through its windows. It was the only house among many others that did so. To Fanelius, this represented destiny standing amongst a great number. The wounded elf limped slowly towards it, his two amber sword gripped tightly in his calloused hands. As he approached the house he realized that he had completely forgotten what the basic courtesies of entering human houses. He had not seen or been inside a human house for an age, let alone viewing a human village. The sight was very coordinated and peaceful, yet he was wounded and needed tending to. He finally decided that he should simply open the door and go inside. Malyon was a woman with no real significance in the world. She had once dreamt to be a great dancer- but her dreams were shattered by her parents dieing in a fire which destroyed their whole house. Malyon had been forced to purchase a small cottage on the edge of the village of Hiltree. It was lonely and uncomfortable- it was only a three room house and no space for extra luxuries. Her daily rituals involved cleaning, shopping, and then cooking. She would then sleep for the rest of the day, then night; fantasizing about what her life would’ve been as a dancer. Her life was miserable and uneventful. Right at the moment Fanelius the elf burst into her home she had just fallen asleep. The elf, satisfied with his effort, collapsed in a heap at her feet. After the sun had risen she yawned and stepped off of the couch she had slept on. Yawning, she looked down to see Fanelius unconscious at her feet. First she had screamed at his alarming appearance- not only was he tattooed from head to toe, he bore many injuries and the only piece of clothing he wore was a cloth around his waist and some boots. Malyon had limited healing capabilities and so did the town doctor, unfortunately. So Malyon did the bets she could. She treated his wounds, doused his brow with water and gave him the rest of it. Shortly after he recovered, pale but still alive. The elf did not understand the woman’s thick accent, and neither did Malyon. But they both knew it- they loved each other, and no words were required. The young woman took care of him to the best of her capabilities Many days after the two slept together. It was bound to happen soon, but it eventually did. Right after that, the elf left. He had given Malyon one last look before his departure. He had not really spoken to her since they had met. Malyon eventually went to look for him, and much to her dismay found that he had left. The last ritual for him to perform was to scale the highest mountain in the vicinity and lay there until he died. The line of wind elves would continue- he had exerted his spirit into the production of an unknowing baby. Fanelius sat on the top of a mountain, his legs crossed and his mind at peace. His eyes jerked open for a moment to see Malyon standing next to him, her clothes ripped and torn. She had climbed the mountain to be with him. So they kissed, and embraced each other. For nothing could separate their love, even if they didn’t really understand each others words. The elf and the woman spoke about the future of the wind elves and their customs. Malyon ignored the freezing winds whipping at her and listened. Eventually came the time that Malyon would depart, and she did so, by Fanelius’s orders. She walked home and slept again, her mouth twisted into a smile. Fanelius died that day. The greatest warrior of the wind elves. But the legacy would continue, for Malyon had heard enough of what they did to pass on to her child, though she did not know it. Months passed, and Malyon had a baby- a beautiful baby girl. When she emerged from her mother’s body, something wonderful happened. A corona of light swirled around her head for five seconds before disappearing, and transparent wings protruded from her back. Malyon took this as a blessing from the gods. An hour later, when the midwife had had left to leave the baby and Leliel alone, five strangers materialised into her house. Three wore white robes and the other two had tattered brown one. The white robes threw off their hoods to reveal angel- wings and all. They said that they would grant the child three blessings, for this one was a chosen child, bound to follow god’s will. The first one blessed baby Leliel with the power of purity shielding, the reassurance that no one could harm her heart and spirit. The second granted her the magic of light and healing. The third blessed Leliel with Anglicism, so that Leliel could always serve the greater good of the people. Malyon’s joy was short-lived, though- the brown robes threw off their hoods to reveal two hideous faces- one had the face of a giant crow and the other of a woman with one eye and blotches of red twisted around her face, never stopping. The two cursed Leliel so that if a demonic sword were to touch her, she would die in 6 hours, 6 minutes and 6 seconds. They also cursed her so that the only way to heal it was to become forged with the elements, and they said no more. Before the angels could catch the perpetrators, they vanished into the night. The angels and the mother grieved, but then the beings put their power together to form two earrings, encrusted with jewels. If Leliel gave one to someone, it would form a partnership consisting of angelic power and elemental power, making the two stronger. It would also stop Leliel from dying due to any demonic wound. After Leliel’s ears were pierced by their means and the earrings place din them, they departed for the heavens. Years passed. As predicted, Leliel became a girl full of wisdom, courage and spirit. Not once did she sin, and would be careful to help anything that needed it. Many times did she risk her life to saving someone, and as her age developed so did her magical prowess. The village blacksmith, who was bout the same age as her mother and a good friend, once offered to make her a sword and teach her swordplay. She gratefully accepted and is now a skilled swordswoman. Grouse the blacksmith forged a sword by the name of bloodsteel. It was one of the finest he ever made, and eventually made a beautiful scabbard to go with it. Leliel possessed remarkable healing abilities, and eventually took over the role of village nurse. She healed the young and the old with her angelic powers, and soon became a town hero. After a time Leliel decided to leave the small village of Hiltree for adventure and searched for a clearer truth. She promised to return to the village every so often, and went on her way. She brought a small pack with her also, to carry her armour; she could live off the land for a while. A fateful encounter with the demon Zelxriel was unexpected. The two met on a path to the cave of the lost, where the demon had surprised her into a battle. Zelxriel had a cursed dagger, and every time it hit Leliel, it sapped her power. Eventually Leliel smote her and thrust bloodsteel through the demons’ chest, but the demon flowed through the sword and into Leliel’s body. Leliel had been partly possessed, and the demon resided in her, leeching off of her power. Leliel crawled half blind and half dead to the cave of the lost. Darkness was closing in on her, when she was someone. It was a girl, and she had collapsed. Leliel stumbled over to her and healed her, hoping her final act would be righteous. It was then that she spotted the sword she held- It sang out to her mind with a word. Eltrialad. This was definitely an angelic sword. Leliel knew what she must do, and placed her second earring in the girl’s ear. It was a wise choice. The demon inside her screamed and was banished form her body, but no with the same one she was defeated with- Leliel regained her original look but the demon was a tainted copy of her. The demon flew away, cackling madly. Leliel was healed, and introduced herself to Amy. She explained her predicament partly to Amy, not mentioning that she had almost died and she had been cursed. The two remain friends now and are both hearty adventurers.

*** Name: Kaze (pronounced KAH-zay) Age: 20 Race: Human/Sylph Race Description: Sylphs are spirits of the air, similar to elves but taller. They have light colored, often white, hair and watery blue eyes. Their skin is pale, and they can easily look sickly because of their thinness. Magic and divination come easily to them, and most are telepathic. (This is a collective description from various sources.) Sex: Male Hair: White, black bangs Eyes: Grey Weight: 130 lbs. (Not thin, sylphs don't weigh much, though is being half-human makes him a little heavier than most) Height: 6'0'' Weapon: Twin daggers that can act as catalysts and wands for certains spells to direct them at their target. Armor: Leather jacket, steel-toed boots (though he must shed them in midair to prevent having to use hurricane-force winds to lift himself). Strengths: Agility, quick reflexes, can easily avoid ranged attacks. Weakness: Easily distracted, gullable, weak physical defense. Skills/Magic: Aerokinesis, limited flight, and basic magic skills. Knows a few small spells regarding the elements of earth, fire, and water, but obviously specializes in air. He doesn't use telekinesis, but can manipulate the air to move objects for him. As a sylph, he has psychic powers, but his humanity has dilluted them some, so it's mostly limited to the occaisional dream-premonition and a strong skill with divination equipment, especially Tarot cards. Personality: Distant to strangers, and shy with new people, but when you get to know him he's extremely friendly. Never one to pick a fight, his battle style is mostly defensive because he doesn't like aggression. He's noble and honorable, not to mention polite. He doesn't hold a grudge, and can easily forgive anyone, as long as an apology is given. Sometimes, though, he's forgiving to the point of gulability, and can be easily decieved. Appearance: ![]() History: He was raised by a single mother and grandparents, and was always taught respect from a very young age. They held a high status, and had easily been able to cover their daughter's unexpected pregnancy. No one had known Kaze's father, who had given him his white hair and strange name. Even his mother, Danielle, wasn't too familiar with him. He was merely a drunken one-night-stand, and after he impregnated her he seemed to drop off the face of the planet. When Kaze reached adolescence, two things happened to change his life forever. First, he realized he was homosexual. Second, he realized he could control the air. The former he hid from his family, but the latter he showed his mother and grandparents with great pride. Of course, that turned out to be a mistake, because as prestigous as his grandparents were, they wouldn't allow themselves to have a freak for a grandson. So they sent him to a school for magic in another city miles and miles away, where his teachers taught him to hone his gift. They also taught him some basic magic as well, and how to fight. In all truth, Kaze was grateful for the chance to leave. He'd never been a social butterfly, and the only person he truly cared about in their town was his mother, and she would be able to visit him every once in a while. When he graduated, only his mother arrived for the ceremony. She had saved up money from the time he was sent away just for this event, and what hadn't been used to pay for transportation to the school was spent on his gift. She had talked to a local blacksmith who forged two special daggers for him. They were simple, but elegant, with ivory handles and two streaks of ebony down the sides. Everything else was made of steel, and they had black leather sheaths with streaks of white down the sides in direct negative to his dagger handles. After he graduated, Kaze decided to find his father. He knew nothing about the man, except that his mother told him that he looked just like him, save for the black streaks in his bangs and the grey eyes, both of which came directly from his mother. He's been travelling alone for the last two years, barely staying fed, other than the few times a month he gets to stay at a hotel and get money from his mother.

________________ Name: Trisha "Shrapnel" Jarvis Age: 17 Race: Human Sex: Female Hair: Brown, with died red streaks, cut short. Eyes: Blue Weight: 60 kilograms Height: 150cm Weapon: Various denomitations of Australian silver coins and the occasional New Zealand 20 cent piece. Used as projectiles and to occasionally to add more pain to a punch. Armor: Belt for holding the change. Has specially made Gauntlets for carrying the small five cent pieces on both arms. Strengths: Incrediblely accurate and aglie Weakness: Dislikes close range combat, not physically powerful Skills: Can always spot dropped spare change on the ground, usefully when she needs to resupply her amunition. A well thrown Fifty cent piece can leave a mark on an oppent. Appearance: A fairly normal looking teenage girl. Usually seen wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a comfortable looking pair of sneaker which could have been purchased from anywhere. Her hair is probably a defining feature with its red streaks and short style. She would be described as having an athletic build although when not fighting she usually slouches and appears more lazy than she is. Having blue eyes with her hair colour gives her what appears to be a vacant or at other time a soul penitrating stare. Most of the time she wears a little smirk. When displaying other emotions she often contorts her face to extremes unless they truely are heart felt. Personality: Usually Amiable even during fights. She sees everyone as a potential ally until they give her ample reason to think otherwise. It is then she gets pissed off and her anger can only be dispistated by ending the battle. By winning or losing she doesn't care because after that she can forget her opponent and get on with her life. There are occasions when she enjoys fighting against an opponent, in these cases she usually will attempt some witty banter. It doesn't always come off right due to her inexperience. Her fighting style also becomes cheeky. In her dealings with the general population of her world she is often to sure of herself due to her dealings with her mentor and his adventures. She feels she knows more than the person the street, hence her usual smirking expression Despite this she likes to help the underdog and will always lend them a helping hand. If pressed she will admit to being a follower of politics. Biography: Trisha Jarvis was just like any other High Schooler's. School, tests, hanging out and helping out with the running of the family chores. Her favourite hang out was the local Arcade. If she had a day off you could find her there playing pool with friends or just playing the DDR machine. As this was her favourite place she always saved any spare change. Her friends however would just use it at the earliest oppurtunity so it didn't take up space. Or in the case of her male friends see how far it would fly and see you would be desperate enough to pick it up of the ground. Trisha did pick this loose change up but always threw it back at them. Soon she could hit them from one hundred metres away and leave a mark. These boys soon learnt to be more careful with money. During one visit to the Arcade one of the staff started calling her Shrapnel, a slang term for loose change, due to the amount of silver coins she always handed over to change into the dollar coins the machines take. It caught on a soon everyone was calling Trisha by this nickname. A few short months after that there was a crime spree in town. Video rentl places, fast food outlets and small retailers where being robbed on public holidays, of which there is a steady stream during the first half of the year in Australia, and on the Queens Birthday holiday the Arcade was targeted. This was also the day that Shrapnel's live would change from the ordinary. The masked man entered through the front door, brandishing a syringe filled wih blood, he had chosen his moment well. Other than an employee and Shrapnel there was only one other person in the store. The masked man ignored Sharpnel, who was finishing her final dance on DDR, and went Straight for the counter. He threatned the empolyee and asked for the cash. It was then that Shrapnel turned around and saw the scene. The employee was reaching to open the register but seemed to be completely calm. He seemed less harrassed then he did when Shrapnel had exanged some coinage earlier. She could see a glint of flame in his eye. Thats when she decided to help the employee out. She grabbed a twenty cent piece from her pocket and hurled. It struck the armed robber on the hand. He dropped the syringe and cursed. It obviously stung some what. The employee turned and said he had the authority to kick the armed guy out. A ball of flame shot from his hand and knocked the masked robber clear out the door. It was then that Shrapnel realised that the employee was Fireball, a figure she thought was only suburban legend. After the police arrived, gathered statements and gave them both lectures on not taking stuff into their own hands Fireball thanked Shrapnel for her help. He than suggested he could help her hone her skills. He was having less time to do things these days and it would be handy to have another hereo in town. After the rush of the armed robber Shrapnel immediately agreed. Since then she has been fighting low level crooks with enthusiasm and accompaining Fireball on the odd jump to another dimension or three. She's still inexperienced but you will be in trouble if you get on her bad side. |

Re: Character List
Name: Sadriaen
Other Names: When in Angel form, she is called Sadri, and in Demon, she is Riaen. Age: Unknown Race: Half Demon, Half Angel Sex: Female Hair: As Sadri, her hair is short and slightly choppy, pearly, and feathery. It angles around her face. As Riaen, her hair is long, straight, and black, with a black rose pinned in her hair right above the ear. Eyes: As Sadri, her eyes are the purest of silver and as Riaen, her eyes are the navy blue of night. Weight: If she was human, she would weigh 105 pounds. Because she is not, and is Half Angel Half Demon, she weighs around 75 pounds. Height: Unknown. It differs all the time, but you can never notice her growing or shrinking. This does not affect her weight. Weapon: Nothing. Strengths: Sadri excels in healing and white/holy magic, and can (for the most part) manipulate objects (to an extent) in the sunlight. Riaen excels in poisoning and black/devil magic, and can (for the most part) manipulate objects (to an extent) in the nighttime. Weaknesses: Sadri is very frail in both daytime and nighttime, but is even more vulnerable during the night. Her powers are significantly dulled when in darkness, and being exposed to it for too long is damaging. Riaen is very frail and both daytime and nighttime, but is even more vulnerable during the day. Her powers are significantly dulled while in sunlight, and being exposed to it for too long is damaging. You could also call Sadriaen somewhat of a schizophrenic because of her two forms constantly agitating and fighting within her mind. Appearance: Sadri has very delicate features, with Asian facial traits. Sometimes it seems as if you touch her she will shatter into a million pieces. As Sadri, she never smiles, but somehow still radiates a feeling of security. She wears a light grey tank top, with small striped indents, and inch wide straps. It fits her figure nicely, and sometimes has a light blue shine to it. Surprisingly enough she wears dusty and white-tainted blue jeans, with an intricate dull red flower design on the left leg. She wears no shoes. Feathery white angel wings protrude from the back, and seem to change size all the time. Riaen, like Sadri, seems very delicate at first and also carries Asian traits. However, the more you are in her presence the more you feel as if she could break you in half. Like Sadri, Riaen never smiles but has a menacing look in her eyes. Black eye shadow surrounds them. Riaen also has a darker complexion that Sadri, however it is not too drastic. She wears a tight black leather tank top that is etched with many intricate designs. Runes are tattooed into the arm below the shoulder, and leather gloves cover from her hands to right above her elbows. The tank top is cut on both sides up to a black leather belt, and flares out in the fashion of a tunic. Like the rest of her clothing, her pants are made of the same black leather, covered in intricate designs like the tank, and have a few chains dangling. However, the chains never make any noise. She wears black combat boots, and small black bat wings protrude from her back. Skills/Magic: Sadri: Heal-Sadri can use this ability to heal even the worst of injuries. She can heal anyone on the brink of death, but not anyone dead. She can bring anyone who has not died yet back to full strength, but the amount of time needed to complete the healing depends on these things: how close the subject is to death, how serious the injuries are, and how much energy Sadri has left. Light Bend-Sadri can manipulate light to do most things she pleases. She can increase it, or decrease it. It is hers to control. The more being made or used, the more energy it takes. Pinpoint-Sadri creates a blinding flash of light, literally blinding anyone she hasn’t blessed with immunity. Once this happens, the light determines the exact point the enemies are located at, taking her to them. If this makes you go blind, it should never last for more than ten minutes, unless you have been exposed to it multiple times. This can only be used sparingly, as it is very painful for Sadri to create. Shield-Sometimes the light acts on its own and wraps itself around Sadri, protecting her from any oncoming attacks. It is impossible to know when it will work or not, because it acts on impulse and at the speed of light. This can stop most physical attacks, and most light magic attacks, including some normal magic attacks. Blade of Light-Sadri can use the blade to slash through random points in the air, cutting anyone it connects with. The blades are virtually invisible. The more power poured in, the more and bigger blades. Blessing-Sadri can give blessings, but it is very rare that she does as it takes a lot of energy out of her, even the simplest ones. Blessings last for eternities. Riaen: Poison-This sends a wave of poison to the target, infecting them by them just breathing it in. It isn’t strong enough to kill most people, but can cause dizziness, confusion, and immense frustration. It is possible for this poison to connect with others, and Riaen can also ‘curse’ people to be immune to that, though it is considered more of a ‘blessing’. However, Demons do not give blessings, so it is referred to as a curse. Shadow Bend-This technique can trap people in the shadows, holding them in place and causing irrational fears. Riaen can make shadows into virtually anything she wishes, but they last for no more than an hour. Pinpoint-Riaen can turn everything dark, and once again, send an irrational fear though people under the influence of it. They freeze up, and Riaen can detect them by sensing fear. People usually last under the influence for no more than one minute. Like Sadri’s pinpoint, this takes much energy and must be used sparingly. The effects can be warded of with a ‘curse’. Shield-Sometimes the darkness creeps up to Riaen to form a shield to protect her. It pops up at random times, and can deflect most physical attacks, but is much more defenseless against magical attacks. Blade of Shadow-This creates random blades within the air that do not need to be used physically and can slash though at random points. The more energy used the bigger blades and the more in the air. The blades are virtually invisible. Curse-This ability is relative to a blessing. However, demons cannot give blessings so even if a something is given that is good, which would make sense to be a blessing, is a curse because it is impossible for demons to give blessings. Personality: Both Sadri and Riaen are very reserved and quiet and try to stay out of most deals. Riaen, however, is a little more outgoing and states herself very boldly when needed. Sadri is the less daring one, and cares about others more than she does about herself. She does whatever she can to help others. On the other hand, Riaen is extremely self centered and cares mostly about herself. Sadriaen also argues with herself quite a bit because of these two completely different personalities. Background: Sadriaen is the daughter of God and the Devil. She herself does not understand how she was conceived. One of the only things she knows about her past is that a kind woman named Lara found her on her doorstep and took care of her until she was ten years old. When she was ten, she began to notice small buds on her back which were white in the daytime, and black in the night. Lara also noticed that Sadriaen seemed to be much more…demonic, for lack of a better word, at nighttime. And one night her wings sprouted. She painfully turned into Riaen, the demon, and crept into Lara’s room to slit her throat. Lara woke seconds before she was going to be killed, and manage to talk some sense into Riaen. Lara said that she had been sent a dream about who Sadriaen really was, and had been instructed to let the little girl go into the world on her own. Riaen refused at first, but as dawn neared, she reluctantly agreed. She left the home of Lara, loosing touch with her foster mother. She hasn’t seen Lara since the day she left. Sadriaen aged until she looked about 25 years old, when she stopped. She never really kept track of time and, eventually, learned that Lara had died. She was enraged and roamed around the world for what seemed like decades (thought it could very well be centuries), looking to come to peace with the fact that the only person she had ever loved was gone, and that she was a child of the Devil. She still searches for this, and struggles to rid herself of Riaen. Ontop of all this, she is still struggling to understand how she ever came to be. Even in the form of her demon self, she cannot always control herself. She searches a never-ending search.

Re: Character List
Approved by Drewey, Thank you so much for that.
...................... Name: Kowai Shinu (means the terror of death or scared to death in Japanese) Nickname: Shinu, or The Terror of Death. Age:does not have a specific age. (looks like a teenager) Race:Specter (A mix of negative human emotions and an ancient evil demon. read bio for a better explanation.) Sex:male Hair: dark Gray and Short, almost like a buzz cut Eyes:where human eyes are white is bloodshot red, the colored part is a light gray. Weight:160 pounds Height:Six feet tall Weapon: Amulet of Aizi: (has Two Forms) Amulet form: wears it normally this way to hide it’s power. The amulet is diamond shaped. The main part is light blue in color and has a golden encrusted square outlining it. Inside the golden square is a black cross with a large emerald embedded right where the “X” crosses. The emerald is where the demon that was trapped inside was held until Zorlo grabbed it. Used in this form for magical attacks. is the physical medium used to channel the dark magic and can be transformed to become a weapon that can be used in either melee or long distance combat. Weapon Form: Can only become one weapon called the Eight Ways to Kill, which is a circular hand guard with a handle running the diameter of the hand guard from the top blade to the bottom one. The hand guard and handle are black. The blades set around the circle are all purple and shaped like a spears tips. At the base of each blade, the symbol of Aizi is embedded. This form is balanced out for both long and short range combat. (can be used from throwing the weapon and having it return like a boomerang) Armor: Robe of Aizi: A purple robe that has the magic of the ancient demon Aizi. Weakens attacks of the dark element by a good percent. Weak to light type attacks. Takes balanced damage from all other elements and can provide some protection from bladed weapons depending on how hard the strike is. Strengths: Skilled at dark demon magic. The two forms of the Amulet of Aizi allows him to switch up combat styles almost at whim. Can transform the Amulet when either he or no one is holding it. (Example: someone grabs it in weapon form and throws it at him.) Weakness: Weak vs. light magic and thunder. Because he is almost pure evil, he enjoys flaunting his powers and can depletes his power fast. When his amulet is in weapon form, he cannot use magic. Weakened by Zorlo’s conscience which he carried over when the two separated, causing him to begin to have an internal struggle over what he has done. Is weaker at close range than at distance. Skills/Magic: (Magic can only be used when the Amulet is in it’s Amulet form.) Form change: Changes Amulet to weapon or vice versa. (only technique capable of using while in weapon form.) This takes a little time. Must say “Convert” in order to begin the change. Takes about four seconds. Shadow bolt: Fires a bolt of darkness from the amulet that harms his opponent. The attack takes the appearance of a small black orb emanating from the emerald. This technique is not very powerful but can cause medium damage to an opponent of the light element. Does little or no damage to an enemy of darkness. Rapid fire or overuse can result will result in magic burns on his hands. Takes about half a second to produce this attack. Shadow Seal: Creates a seal on his opponent that weakens the skills or magical energy that the person has. He presses the Amulet into his opponents skin and it leaves the imprint of the “X” with an emerald that forms in the center of the seal and creates on his opponent. The stronger the darkness in the person’s heart, the stronger the seal. This skill has no effect if his opponent has a massive quantity of a positive emotion the emanates from them. Nightmare Flash: Fires a stronger version of Shadow Bolt. This technique takes more energy and has the same stipulations of Shadow Bolt. When using this technique, the energy becomes large ball of dark energy which if overpowered will backfire. This technique is generally used as a last resort and leaves him drained of almost all magic after he uses it. Takes about five seconds to create. Tentacles of Darkness: A power learned after many battles, and thanks most in part to battling large groups. This power summons tentacles of darkness from his feet and bind and can crush anything they grab ahold of. Shinu decided whether or not he wishes something to be crushed and can control many of these at a time. This is one of the magics that can be used while his blade is in its weapon mode. Dark Platform: Not really an attack, but very useful for traveling. This power releases darkness from his feet and produces something he can walk on to cross water or protect him from traps such as spike pits. It is very useful in moving around but steadily drains energy, same as Tentacles of Darkness. Personality: Very maniacal and enjoys to flaunt his new freedom by ending others or causing chaos. Is by all means a chaotic evil person (D&D terminology, what), or a person who enjoys causing chaos for no reason. Enjoys a good opponent almost as much as Zorlo, but prefers to kill anyone whom he fights to prevent them from standing in his way later. Part of Zorlo’s conscience was brought over during the break and cause him to sometimes hesitate from killing a person or doing something bad. Speaks in a dual voice because he is a unity of two souls. Can speak with one voice when one of the spirits desires. Thoughts are generally done between the two rather than as one voice. Appearance: His eyes always appear as though the whites of the eyes are bloodshot and the colored part of his eyes are a light gray. His skin tone is a medium gray that he hides his skin with his robe which has a hood to cover his head to conceal his identity. The amulet is around his neck on a golden chain when he is not in combat and is covered by the robe. He wears a white shirt under his purple robe. The robe stretches down to about his feet and is tied at the center of it. The pants he wears under his robe are black and a simple design. He wears navy blue gloves to cover his hands. He is of medium build and is not overly muscular. Those who know Zorlo mistake him for Zorlo if they look at him from a distance. History: The story of Kowai Shinu begins with the story of Aizi, the demon who sought to change the balance of power between humans and demons. Aizi was born in the last age before the fall of the demons from power. Aizi was born in the Village of the Nightmares, which was a city who lived under the rule of humans during a time of demon domination lived in a city that fostered hopes of becoming a friends with their conquerers. Aizi despised human and began to study the dark arts of demons before him. He began to strike at the human overlords and the demons of his clan had to exile him before he caused to much damage to the relationship they had been trying to forge. As an exile, Aizi traveled to find a powerful master of the dark arts to make him stronger. His travels brought him to a small island where he met an Orc Shaman called Niger Storm-shroud. The Orc taught him about how they had first gained magic from the demons and now he would teach Aizi the lost art of the sealed demon magic. After several years in training, and fully mastering the art, Aizi killed the aged Orc and returned to his home and destroyed it without much in the line of resistance. The other demons power paled in comparison to the grand power Aizi had gained over his years in training. Aizi next attacked the city that had captured his now destroyed home. The battle lasted many months, but finally, a few members of the Wizards Guild managed a sealing spell. Aizi killed all but one wizard before he was finally sealed by the magic. The one remaining wizard took him deep into a cave and locked him away there to never see the light again. Aizi sat in the amulet to rot there for all eternity. The wizard filled the cave with many traps and hazards to stop intruders and left one warning to any who approached it. The traps had a magical reset so that when they were tripped, should someone set them off, they would be ready for the next traveler that headed in. The warning read, “All who make it here, turn back to avoid a fate most horrid.” One day, many long years after the battle in the lost city, a cartographer found the cave and drew a map to it and told everyone that there was treasure in it. After many failures, the village finally gave up on trying to obtain the prize, and stashed the map. Two years after that, the village was ransacked by two monstrous demons and the map was stolen as they began to hunt for the treasure. The demons were far to stupid to have any hope of finding the treasure but looked anyways. Next is the turning point of the map to the hands of The Alliance of Tasogare. After an intense battle between the four members that would form the Alliance between each other as strangers to the final slaying of the two demons who had the map as a team. After the battle, Nikudemon and Tsukineko left the other two members, Zorlo and Celia to get the map. The two survived the treacherous traps and the dangers of the cavern and finally made it to the treasure. When Zorlo grabbed the amulet, Aizi awakened and sought to combine himself with Zorlo first. When Zorlo resisted, Aizi took note of Celia, but was stopped by another, almost as evil voice. That voice was the darkness that Zorlo had created through his lust for vengeance that he had given up. Zorlo's darkside had formed his own personality and grew in solitiude. The two sealed horrors combined into a being made of pure negative energy. Shinu seeks the aid of evil, powerful others to help him crush the Alliance of Tasogare. He is bound by his desire to crush all who stand in his way. Aizi's escape signs his hopes of reviving his dreams and destroying any who stand in his way are part of that path.

Celina Augustus, the White Temptress
(Approved by Drewey)
Name: Celina Augustus Age: 1683 Race: Demonic Angel Sex: Female Hair: She has stark white hair with a tint of silver. It reaches about half way down her back and is normally worn loosely. Eyes: A pale gold. Weight: 68kg Height: 5”11” Weapon: Invidia and Incestus (The Swords of Vindictive Oath) Invidia and Incestus are sometimes known as Satan’s Hands. The two blades were forged from an oath made by Lucifer’s. They were given to Celina; they are the embodiment of sin. The two blades are not of the physical plain; they are ethereal objects. Celina can summon them whenever she deems necessary. Invidia is a long double-ended sword. Its shape is very unusual. Between the golden hilt and the point of the sword the blade widens and is decorated in golden and black designs laid on a crimson panel. Then sword then narrows towards the pinhead point. A small thin blade protrudes from the base of the weapon Incestus is equally unusual. The blade curves like spirals that end in jagged points. The shining blue blade has its name inscribed on it. The hilt of the sword is golden and has a leather cord wrapped around it for grip. Armor: Celina wears no armour. Strengths: Celina is fast and excels at close quarters. Her magics are powerful as well. She specialises in ice and healing magics. With her sword combination of Invidia and Incestus she can strike out quickly and forcefully. She uses enchantments to disable the opponent. Weaknesses: Celina’s light weight makes her easy to toss around. Her aggressive fighting style can also leave her very open to attack at times. Her lust and carving for power is often her downfall. Her lack of armour means physical attacks are very effect against her. Light magic is her largest weakness. Skills/Magic: Celina specialises in healing and ice magics. She is also known to be able to travel on the northern winds. Her true skill lies within her enchantress abilities. Ice Magic Frozen Wind-Celina freezes the moisture in the area and then uses the pieces of ice as projectiles. Hail-Celina summons a massive hail storm. Pincers of Ice-Celina makes long spikes of ice fire out of the ground beneath the target. Freeze Water-Celina has the ability to freeze water. The amount of energy required varies depending on the amount of water that is frozen. Healing Magic Satan’s Blessing-Dark energies are poured from her body into the target. This heals demonic beings. When used on non-demonic beings it unlocks the darkness within the target’s heart. Requires physical contact. Demonic Redemption-Celina has the ability to make her fellow demons rise from the dead. This can be used even on demons that have died thousands of years before hand. The amount of energy used depends on both the strength of the demon and how long they have been dead for. If the demon is truly powerful and has been dead for thousands apon thousands of years she is required to make a sacrifice and also requires the help of another demonic sorcerer. This spell takes a minimum of 20mins to cast and maximum of 2 weeks. Enchantress Skills Hypnotism-Hypnotises the target and puts them under her influence. Only effects weak targets. Song of the Siren-Her ancient Siren ancestry allows her to sing the song that they used to lure so many sailors to their deaths. It affects nearly every male. It doesn’t affect any women. Slight Hand-Celina begins making strange movements with her hands. The movements captivate the target and make them believe she is still there, waving her hands when she has in fact moved. This skill can be used to make escapes or to sneak up on people. Personality: Celina is deceptive by nature. She is by no means trustworthy and is always trying to benefit herself in what ever way possible. In battle she is extremely misleading and aggressive. She will often confuse the opponent with her illusionary skill and then finish them with a few rapid and precise blows from Invidia and Incestus. Celina craves power and is driven by her lust for it. She is always trying to put herself in the highest possible position of power and does not care what sacrifices must be made to reach it. Appearance: ![]() Celina is a beautiful temptress. Her looks have lured many to their painful deaths. Her slim figure is covered by a long white robe that reaches to her feet. Her pale white skin is riddled by many long curving tattoos, much like vines and of a similar colour. Her light wings spread from beneath her soft robe. Her wings are as magnificent as those of any other flying beast. Her slender feet are always bare. History: -Celina was born to a Siren over 1500 years ago. -The Siren abandoned her and left her at the doorstep of the Augustus family, a roman family. -She was raised by the Augustus family and treated as one of their own. -At the age of sixteen Celina came across an angel called Tueor. -She fell in love with Tueor. -Three years later, when Celina was only nineteen, she and the Augustus family were killed by a group of thieves. -Tueor debated with the Council of Angels and eventually they decided to resurrect Celina as an angel. -Tueor began to train Celina in the way of the warrior, as a war with Lucifer’s forces was imminent. -One hundred years later a war broke out between Heaven and Hell. -This war was called “The War of Alliance” -During this war the demons were overpowering the angels. -Tueor’s commander wanted to make a direct assault on hell but Tueor disagreed. He was forced to find an alternative. -Tueor came across records of an ancient sword; the Sword of the Pact. He decided it was the only option. -He told Celina to wait as he went to search for it. She refused to let him go alone. -The two angels set off to Bethlehem, where the sword was supposedly hidden. -After much difficulty the angels found the sword in a massive cavern. -Tueor claimed the sword. -After Tueor claimed the sword Satan appeared. -The two angels managed to fight off Satan. -During the fight the Sword of the Pact had begun to take over Tueor’s mind and body. -He turned on Celina, laughing insanely and then swung the sword. Her body fell limp to the floor. -After Celina’s second death she appeared in an empty darkness. -This darkness was completely empty, empty of sound, empty of life, empty of smell, empty of feelings, empty of taste, empty of memories. It was total darkness. -While Celina lay floating through this darkness she was visited by Satan. -Satan placed his blessing apon her. -His blessing meant that his power became hers, so to speak. -Celina was given a new body, a demonic body. -The Devil explained to her that she had had one purpose in life, and that purpose was to become his lieutenant. -But she could not fill her role yet, she had to claim the Sword of the Pact from Tueor (who was now Mesfido). -To do that the blade would have to become a full vessel of evil and for that to happen Mesfido would to have to become a being of pure evil. -Celina and Lucifer began to make plans to acquire the blade. -The two demons visited the fallen angel on one of his most pitiful nights. -Satan offered Celina to Mesfido. Mesfido would have to do the Devil’s deeds if he agreed. -Mesfido had accepted. -Celina continued to play along, seducing and tempting Mesfido, getting him to do evil and feed the Sword of the Pact the evil energies with his deeds. -Several years later Mesfido discovered that Celina was in love with Lucifer. -He left the Devil’s service. -Lucifer was outraged; he swore to pry the sword from the dead angel’s hands. -Lucifer formed a seal apon this oath. The seal was, or rather were Invidia and Incestus. -Now there were weapons that could stand up to of the Sword of the Pact: the Swords of Vindictive Oath, Invidia and Incestus. -Lucifer placed the swords in his most trusted general’s hands, Celina’s hands. -With that Lucifer and Celina set about tricking Mesfido, the fallen angel. -At every turn of the angel’s back they are there, watching. Armor: Breastplate, Kite shield, and helmet Skills: Tracking and strategy. He knows how to fully utilize what he's got. Strengths: He's calculating, and often goes for the quick kill. He has a lot of stamina, and can go days without food or water. He can stand heat well, as well as cold. Weaknesses: He doesn't do well when surprised or all alone. He doesn't like being over waiste deep in water, even though he doesn't mind cold temperatures. Smoke: Breathing smoke is a good defensive meneuver. Background: Derrel's world is broken into four tribes: Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. The Fire Tribe resides along the equator of the world, among deserts, volcanoes, and other hot climates. Derrel lives in one of the largest deserts in the world, surrounded on three sides by a mountain range, with the sea on the far side. Derrel is a Liutenant in the Fire Tribe military, and helps train the trrops fresh out of the academy. He gives assignments out to squads, and holds down the main base that protects the desert he lives in from Earth Tribe soldiers. While he uses both magic and weapons, he's partial to weapons. He began training in unarmed combat when he was seven, and upgraded to armed combat over the years. He has recently been training in spellcasting to become more balanced. The tribes have long been at war with each other for territory and resources. One is never able to conquer the other because each capital is guarded by a powerful Dragon of each respective element. These Dragons never attack each other because a fight between just two could drain oceans, and sink continents. So a delicate balance has been kept for centuries. The Earth Tribe poses the greatest threat to the Fire Tribe, because they fight over similar territories. While the Air Tribe doesn't pose as great a threat, battles in the sky are waged for the Air cities that the Fire Tribe desires. They could use the Air cities to enhance thier magic and attack the Earth Tribe from above. The Earth Tribe also poses the greatest threat to the Water Tribe because they want to mine the sea floor. The Air and Water Tribes are reletively isolated, so they don't pose a threat to anyone. They just deal with their respective enemies. __________________

The demi-god's soul was trapped inside 'Shadow' , a sword that Kandred stole from Thrinmoore, and then 'Shadow' changed. Thrinmoore is a broadsword that Kandred can only wield when he completes an ancient sword ritual, which he completed in Valkyrian, and it is as light as a feather in his hands, but in anyone elses, it weighs a tonne, due to energies that are inside the blade. Appearance: Kandred wears a jacket, which he made himself, that goes down to his ankles. The sleeves, when the wrastle cuff is unbuttoned, go over his hands, but when the wrastle cuff is buttoned up, they go down to his knuckles. The coat has buttons down to his waist, and the jacket is made of proofed leather. proofing is also called gaulding, and is a way of making leather stronger than chainmail. The leather is dipped in gauld, a dark brown chemical, and it hardens when dried. Kandred's jacket is black, and is over a hooded cloak. When he is fighting or running, he will unbutton his jacket, and the wrastle cuffs, for it looks impressive as it swirls around. When travelling, he will put his hood on, and button his jacket up completely. When in formality, he will button up the wrastle cuffs, and button the jacket down to his belly button. Over his legs he wears proofed leather pantaloons, which are black to go with his jacket. His face is long and beautifully angled, and he is quite dashing and handsome. The tail is long, and whip like, and has spines down the middle. The end of the tail is the shape of a spearpoint, with a spine at the end of it. Kandred's wingspan is 12 foot wide, and his tail is six feet long. Personality: Kandred is very cheerful, but doesn't mind being alone. He's the typre of guy who'll let you in if there's a storm. On his ninth birthday Kandred saw a group of travellers passing the village and asked his parents if he could go and talk with the strange people, but his parents said that he couldn’t go, as the people were most likely dangerous. Kandred disobeyed his parents and went out to the party of people. There he met a young Badgerden named Ricco, the Badgerden were a group of badgers the size of trolls and could talk, but they were nearly extinct. Ricco and Kandred became good friends and when Kandred’s mother Ferentin found out that he was playing with the mysterious people, she went out to their camp. When she got there the people removed their cloaks, revealing that they were Badgerden of the Greenhall clan, and they bared their claws and ran after the Elf mother. Ferentin ran as fast as she could, but the male Badgerden chieftain cornered her in an alleyway, and then spoke, “If Oi were correct Oi could swear dat ye were the mum o’ that liddle Elf boy. He would be our dinner t’noit if’n you hadn’t come and distoibed us’ns and awerr doinin’ on dis noit, ’n’ now Oi’m gonna it you up!” the chieftain bared his teeth and charged at Ferentin, who ran through the legs of the Badgerden, she ran back to her home. When she got inside the walls of her home she quickly told Kandred’s father, Johans, what had happened, and then the Badgerden chieftain smashed through the wall and demolished the entire house. Johans pulled Ferentin’s body over his shoulders and limped out of the ruin of their house. Johans saw his son limping across the ruins of the entire village, which had been destroyed by the all of the male Badgerden. “Come here my child, we must flee!” yelled Johans across the ruined town. “No, I want to stay with Ricco!” “Come, they nearly killed your mother!” “No! I am staying with Ricco and his family!” “Come! They want to eat you! And they nearly ate Ferentin!” “They nearly killed you and mother? Then I will finish you two off!” Kandred ran at his father and jumped on him, removing Johans’ short sword and then raised the blade under Johans’ chin. Kandred flicked his wrist and slitted his father’s throat, killing the man. He crawled over to his mother’s body, he picked up Johans’ sword belt and slipped it over Ferentin’s neck. He pulled hard and then he heard his mother’s neck crack. “Kandred? Where are you? Oi’m gonna foind you!” Ricco climbed over a pillar that was once part of the town citadel, sword in hand. Ricco ran at Kandred swinging his sword violently, and nearly decapitated Kandred. “There you are y’liddle mongrel!” Kandred ducked another blow, slipped the belt off his mother’s neck and pulled it tight over Ricco’s neck, the Badgerden gasped for air and then fell to the ground silently. Kandred ran off into the night. For four years Kandred wandered marshes killing fish that swam in the water and occasionally hunting fauns and dears for food, until he saw a hamlet on the horizon. He ran towards the grouping of ramshackle houses, he crossed a farm and stole a horse. The horse was a girl, and Kandred named her Ferentin. At nightfall, Kandred set up camp and tied Ferentin up to a post. He sat there trying to remember what happened on the night that his village was destroyed for the first time in four years. He could only remember the houses being destroyed, and before hand when the Badgerden chieftain gave him some soup. Kandred realised that either the soup had been drugged and made him forget what had happened or he had merely forgotten what had happened. At dawn, Kandred burnt his tent and rode off towards the hamlet mounted on Ferentin. When the houses appeared to be half a mile away, Kandred saw an orc war banner up above the houses. He could just make orcs out in the distance, they were burning the small village. Kandred was angry that the orcs were just ending so many lives, and they did it for fun. Kandred bared his teeth, and snarled, he spurred Ferentin in the side, and she bolted. As the hamlet came within bowshot, three or four arrows whizzed passed his face and one landed in Ferentin’s side. The horse’s body buckled and sent Kandred flying. He landed on a knoll and his nose cracked, blood poured from his nostrils. He stood, and noticed that he had sprained his ankle. Still, he walked onwards towards the village. More orc arrows flew at him, he dodged most of them, but six of them landed in his left forearm, Kandred screamed, and charged the orcs. He drew his father’s sword, and decapitated twelve of the vermin. He picked up an orc helm and placed on his head, to protect his head from arrow shots. Kandred sought out a house that was not damaged. It appeared to be the house of a woodworker, and Kandred took a bow and a quiverful of arrows, he then found a quiver. The quiver and bow were of Elven make, and the arrows of Dwarven. An orc chieftain walked past the house with two hyenas on leashes, Kandred jumped out of the building behind the chieftain and shot him in the back of the helm with an arrow. The orc dropped dead and the hyenas were let go, they chased after Kandred as he ran between housing, rubble and ruin. He ran into a group of orcs who grabbed him and pulled him into a building. “Should we give him the drop?” said one to another. “Yeh! See how he likes that!” replied one of them. They dragged him up three flights of stairs and then climbed on to the roof. Kandred was walked up to the edge, and he looked down. He saw about four feet of razor wire below. Amid the wire there were pikes, swords, and scimitars. The orcs threw Kandred off the building into the deathtrap below. Kandred screamed in extreme pain, then an orc said mockingly, “D’y’thinks ’e’s dead?” “Nah, ’e’s only pained! Let’s drop baronstones on ’im, then we’ll burn it all!” responded another. The orcs threw red rocks down on the wire deathtrap until the entire pile of wire could no longer be seen. Then, an orc dropped a torch off the top of the building and the rocks set on fire instantaneously. At midday the flame subsided and a blackened form crawled out of the ashes. Kandred had been lucky that the flame had not caught onto the razor wire, else he would have been killed. His clothes were all ripped, but his sword belt and quiver had not been damaged at all. Kandred retrieved his sword and bow from the embers, sheathed the blade and placed the bow over his shoulder. The sun was hot and burnt his skin. Ferentin’s remains were about ten yards from the ruins of the village that had been raised. Kandred grabbed his saddlebags and put them over his shoulder. He turned east and began to walk across the rocky ground, his shoes were burnt and cut from the harsh, rocky ground below. A wave of hunger came over Kandred, he turned back towards Ferentin, he tried to bite through her rough hide, but it was to no avail. Kandred picked up a stone and put it in his mouth, he began to chew. He chewed for over four hours and then he removed the rock from his mouth, it was the same shape, but wet and covered in small indents. Kandred felt his teeth, the stone had had the desired affect, and Kandred’s teeth were sharp and filed down to a point. Kandred now walked back to the horse’s remains, she had been slightly burnt under the hot sun, and from the heat of the flame that lay close by. Kandred placed the corpse on the embers and left it there for a few minutes, then he pulled it off and took a bite out of it. It tasted quite good, at least better than what Kandred thought it would taste like. A piece of parchment flew passed and Kandred grabbed it, he read it, and it said that you could obtain powers if you ate the flower of the Ganzhen plant. It had a picture of a plant on it, Kandred assumed it was the Ganzhen plant, and he saw a small shrub nearby that matched the picture perfectly, he ate a flower of it, and then he felt a strange tingling feeling whenever he touched an object. For a week and a day Kandred pondered this predicament. On the eighth day Kandred learnt to levitate stones as big as his fist, and push boulders across the ground with his mind. Kandred took some more bites out of his horse, then he set out into the scorching desert. Kandred continued along the ground, heading ever east for six more years until he saw a giant silver dome in the middle of the desert, “The battle dome.” Said Kandred to himself. He entered the complex and found himself amidst thousands of warriors. “This is where I belong.” Kandred felt something at his feet, an egg had rolled across the floor and stopped at his foot. He walked outside and lay the egg on the ground, then the egg hatched. Out walked out a dragon hatchelling. The dragon was blue and about the size of Kandred’s two fists clenched next to each other. The dragon flew up onto his shoulder and perched there, Kandred levitated it onto the ground, but then it flew onto his shoulder again. “You’re not going to go away, are you?” said Kandred, the dragon shook its head. “Ok, stay there.” Kandred walked back inside with the blue dragon perched upon his shoulder. Whilst he was walking through the bustling halls of the battle dome he said, “You need a name, don’t you?” the dragon nodded, it understood. “Ok, you’re blue, so, we’ll need a name that suits the colour, hmmm. I can’t think of any names that suit your hue. How about, Sckitter?” the dragon nodded. “Ok, so, skitter, what do you want to do? Eat?” the Sckitter nodded violently, it appeared to be smiling. “You’re a he, right?” the dragon nodded vigorously. “Let’s get some food!” Once they had some food, Kandred and Sckitter walked through the halls together, exploring various doors, making friends, making enemies, and eating some more. They pretty much did that for another year, and by then Sckitter was the size of Kandred himself. Kandred and Sckitter began to go outside and fly together, and then Kandred learnt Clairvoyance, he also taught Sckitter to stand on his hind legs and walk like human or elf would, and to use Clairvoyance. One day, Kandred took a nasty fall from Sckitter’s back, and when he hit the ground he ripped all of his scars from his encounter with the orcs open. His Psychic Aura began to leak from them. Purple tentacles began to swirl around his scratches, and he began to die. Three weeks later the scratches became scars once more, and Kandred got better. Sckitter and Kandred began to practice fighting, and Sckitter used a sword, which he had found. One day, Sckitter began to talk, and he got slowly better at having increasingly complicated conversations. Kandred learnt to fly using Levitation, and his nails slowly turned into claws, and he learnt to breathe fire. At the end of the year Kandred had become as much a dragon as an elf, and Sckitter became as much elf as dragon. Sckitter and Kandred were best friends ever since and they flew over the desert together, ate the same food, drunk the same drink, and fought the same fights. One year, Kandred was slain. A month later, he was resurected as weaker form of his previous self. He also retained his powers, but they were much weaker. Re: Character List
Upgrade of Blaze, courtesy of tiroth. And aerixeth for letting me have the upgrade.
Name: Blaze Bodylifter, The Glacier Druidess Age: 14 Sex: Female Race: Human Weight: 48 kg Height: 5’5 Eyes: Hazel Hair: Really long (almost up to her waist) which is a light golden brown. She has black streaks running through her hair. Weapon: Perpetual Zephyr: small bow that can shoot the arrows great distances. It has wind runes inscribed on it. Briardeath Shards: These are two short daggers. The blades are made of obsidian, and strange vine-like symbols curl around the handle and blade. This is made of silver, and the handles are simply steel. Appearance: Blaze is a 14 year old human ice sorceress that weighs in at 48 kilos and is 5'4 high. She has long golden brown hair that is very long, and when it is in the sun it lights up at the tips. She will often tie her hair up in a ponytail to keep her hair out of her eyes, and she is concentrated too much on other things to care about something as trivial as her hair. Blaze wears a blue tunic laced with silver, and wears a lighter blue underneath. She wears black stockings and a black long shirt underneath her robes. Strengths: Blaze is very good at using her ice magic. She’s excellent at dodging things and can run kind of fast but she isn’t really strong. She also has some skill with the bow, and she likes mixing magic with melee combat (like making her arrows ice arrows) Her specialty is defnsive and tactical magic. Weakness: Since she doesn’t wear any armour, she gets hurt more easily than others, and fire sorcerers would be her weakness as well. Blaze also hasn’t fully learnt her ‘Ice Magic' properly, so she cant use very strong spells and uses them mainly for self-defence. Her emotions can often get the better of her, and she may give up when the odds are against her. Skills/Magic: Well, she has her ‘Ice Magic’ which can heal certain wounds (mostly burns and stuff to do with fire) She can use earth and wind magic as well, which she has potential to unleash to a devastating stage, though she is unaware of this and sticks to her favourite element, ice. The other spells are here.... Ice bolt (Often called Snare): a weak bolt of air that freezes anything it comes in contact in, but not lots of ice results from it. Things that aren't living when hit by it will occasionally actually turn into ice, instead of simply freezing over. Enemies can easily break through the glass though, if they are strong enough. (or it melts off) Ice thaw: heals burns and other wounds caused by heat and fire. Frost slam: hovers in the air gathering power in her hands, and then slams to the ground, letting out a ring of pure frost energy that will freeze everything in a 2 meter radius. This drains blaze a lot because she isn’t as skilled in magic, plus she can only hover in very short periods. Things that aren't living when hit by it will occasionally actually turn into ice. As usual, enemies can break out of this, and it is useless against a fire being. Radori quake: She forces wind energy into the ground, disrupting the layers of earth and it causes a miniature earthquake that covers only a 5 metre radius and may destroy most of the things around it. Razor Gust: She creates a whirlwind that branches from her hands to her target. It cannot cause much harm at the moment, so she doesn't use it that often. Frost Enchantment: Blaze gives a weapon or artifact the ability to hold ice magic. This causes the weapon to freeze or make things cold upon contact. When she enchants necklaces and amulets, her magic can be held in it for future use, where it will increase the strength of her magic. Glacier Shield: Blaze summons up water from deep within the ground which then frezzes as it reaches the surface, thus creating a large sheild of thick stalagmites to protect her from an attack. This is a very fast spell. Dark Blizzard: Blaze creates a sudden rush of strong, icy air which whips at the opponent. Snow and ice batter the opponent senseless for a few moments until Blaze decides to stop it. While she is It is quite draining on her. Corruption freezing: Blaze gathers immense magical power in one finger and touches something, freezing it over completely. This ice will crawl into the opponents body and attempt to freeze an opponents vital organs. The power consume din this is unkown to Blaze, so often she can suddenly lose a great amount of energy afterwards. This cannot be used against certain creatures (such as things that have no actual organs) Personality: Blazes personality has changed since her dark leverage. Blaze can sometimes get depressed and quiet at the oddest of times. She has troubles hiding some emotions like anger, depression etc. but this is not a big concern to her. She is often very quiet and shy around strangers. Biography: Blaze was born in Adelaide, a large city in South Australia. This was situated in Australia, which was opposed to all the other countries, because Australia did not have many heroes in it. Blaze was a happy baby that was very emotional and always made her parents smile. Her birth name was Debbie. She started school when she was five and made lots of friends because of her kind and caring nature. She progressed primary school quite easily and eventually found herself in high school, with no friends of her own to hang out with. Soon, though, she found a few friends, including some boys (as she went to a school where most of the boys are jerks) Because Debbie was not as self-conscious of her appearance like the other girls (who were taller and richer than her) she was treated with scorn by many, and no one really cared about her feelings like her friends at primary school. Year 8 passed quickly, and in the holidays something very strange happened. Debbie was dreaming...In the dream, she saw two enormous citadels. One was a dark colour and the other was very light and was hard to distinguish. Debbie soon realised that one was wreathed with dark flames, while the other was sparkling with ice. In the distance between the two citadels was an army of people, who appeared to be casting spells at each other. Large, hideous beasts were in the fray as well, clobbering all in their path. Above all of them were two figures that were floating on clouds and were trying to calm the combatants by one creating small cyclones and sending them ripping between the middle of the battlefield, while the other was zooming across the two parties and pushing them back to their respective sides of the battlefield. Debbie felt the strongest urge to be there, to be amongst them and settle their differences. She reached out her hand... Whumpf. Debbie rubbed her eyes and looked forward. She gave a small scream as she realised where she was. She was in the place in her dreams. However, she was too far out of eye sight range for any of the spell-casters to see her. Dusting off her nightgown, she crept slowly towards the huge ice citadel, hoping that it would be able to help with her dilemma. As she approached the citadel, she felt very dizzy. The monstrous building reached further up into the sky than the eye could see.... Mmmfff! A hand suddenly clamped around her mouth. She looked to her right and saw a girl dressed in a tattered blue robe holding her hand across her mouth. Debbie narrowed her eyes and struggled to get the hand off of her mouth, and finally she prevailed. The girl stared at her. "Who are you? You don’t look like a sorceress; otherwise I would have sensed your power by now. What are you doing here?" Debbie took a deep breath. "I was teleported here or something, and now I’m right in the middle of a battle! Do you have any idea where I can get back home, beca-" The girl silenced her again. "Be quiet, or people will here you. I have no idea how to get you back to your home, but hopefully the captain will. There’s only one option, and that’s to train to become an ice sorceress. They should have some new recruits in by now; all you have to do is line up. By the way, my names Kaylis" Debbie nodded. Kaylis took her inside the citadel (which was covered in head to foot in ice sculptures form the inside) and they walked threw three corridors until they arrived in a teachers office, along with five other sorceress hopefuls. Debbie saw a girl jump into the air and rush right past the way Debbie came, a look of joy upon her face. The line dwindled until it was Debbie’s turn. She stepped up to the desk, and before she could say anything, the teacher was speaking. "It's Blaze, isn't it?" Debbie shook her head in confusion. "Sorry, it’s Debbie-" The old lady waggled a finger at Debbie. No, now it's Blaze. There is a name for each of or students so they remembered out teachings here" Debbie thought that was a bit extreme, changing your name so you could train. However, she thought nothing of it and asked, "Well that's it then?" "Far from it. I need you to read out these words, and focus on this orb at the same time" Debbie nodded and reached for the paper with the words. "Iciclius ovreeka!" A beam of magic shot at the orb from Debbie’s finger and wrapped around the orb. It was lost to sight for a few seconds, then when the mist faded; all Debbie could see was a ball of ice. Debbie grinned in happiness and clapped her hands; however the teacher merely frowned and scribbled something down on her clipboard. She looked up. “Your room is on level five, room 57. Do not be late for training." Debbie grinned and raced out of the room. For the next three months Debbie trained at the citadel. She rarely went outside, even though the citadels had called a temporary truce. Debbie never learned why they were at war, but it had something to do with betrayal of some sort. After her training she snuck away unnoticed, taking with her a few memoirs of her training. She was going to find out what had caused this war, and settle it, if it meant the lives of a million people. Blazes travels took her across many places, even to another dimension. She engaged in fights with many people and did not understand the reasoning of it. She joined a guild entitled the Ice Paladins- where she joined fellow ice users to battle many unspeakable evils. In a fight with a demon, it posessed her body and took control of her mind. When it did so Blaze's hair turned black and so did her eyes- then black angel wings sprouted form her back. Her companions fought her off and expeled the demon, but a hint of the corruption remains in Blazes body. She is now rather depressed and a side-effect of the demons posession on her appearance was that black streaks went in her hair. She also obtained some of the demons powers, making her stronger. She now travels the land with a few members of the ice paladins, seeking a purpose to her corruption. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Re: Character List
This describes everything, though, obviously, the format is a tad different. This is a rough draft. I'll fix grammatical things and other flaws like that later on, but the actual character will stay the same:
Name: Seryth Abaddon (aka: The Phoenix) Age: 30 Race: Blessed Human- A human-like species that is slightly taller and bulkier (muscle-wise) than a regular human. They are typically stronger than humans and possess the elemental skills that few humans do. They also don't show aging as much so as humans. Gender: Male Temper: Over the years, Seryth has learned to control his temper. He is not affected by anger causing comments, but pities those who attempt it. Sense of Humor: Seryth is known to pop a joke every now and then and to have a good laugh. But in battle, it all changes. Basic Nature: Seryth is an over all good guy. In battle, he is as serious and focused as ever, but out of battle, he is known all over the land. Prejudices: Those who try to affect their opponent in battle with just words. Philosophy: Do not forget your past; it is what shapes the rest of your life. Height: 6'4" Weight: 230 lbs Build: Strong, though not bulky, very defined Skin Color: Tanned lightly Eyes: a flaming red tinge Hair: Long flowing whit hair. (better shown in appearance image) DOB: 7/10 Alignment: Neutral Elemental Affinity: Fire Weapon Specialty: Long Sword ::Guardian Aeon (pet):: Name: Roec Description: Roec is a powerful Griffon that is only and will always loyal to Seryth. Seryth had encountered Roec when he was held down by hunters of his enemy. So, Seryth calmed the beast and let him go. Since then, Roec has been there to protect Seryth as much as he can. He can fly, bite and claw with incredible strength. Appearance: http://www.jaestudio.com/Griffon.jpg ::Appearance:: http://img119.echo.cx/img119/4282/guys1083qk.jpg Sometimes he will wear no armor and no cape. : ersonality:: Seryth isn't a very talkative man. He prefers solitude rather than a group of friends. Although he does have some friends, he does not see them much because of his continuous traveling. Thus, he prefers trying not to gain friends as he moves on. In battle, Seryth will no talk so much for his weapons do most of it. He does not make snide remarks or anything of the sort. He just lets the battle decide his future. ::Weapon(s):: Name: The Adaru Type: Long Sword Description: This is Seryth's final weapon, and a good one as well. Many people have sought the power of this blade though those who tried to overpower it have failed. This sword is what you would call 'enchanted'. It is able to ricochet weak to medium powered energy attacks or absorb them to give it more power. Appearance: Can be found in appearance. Name: The Twin Baruku Short Swords Type: Short Swords Description: These are Seryth's secondary weapons made to execute lightning quick attacks effectively. They can absorb small energy attacks and if thrown or out of Seryth's hands, they cannot be held in any way by the opponent and come straight back to Seryth. The same goes for the Adaru. Appearance: http://www.argoth.co.uk/acatalog/ucyuc1297abnb.jpg ::Accessories:: Old Dagger- This is Seryth’s beloved keepsake. After the fire at his home, this was the only thing intact and in good shape. It seemed special because the blade did not melt under the flame. http://www.gagedesigns.com/Flame%20blade.jpg ::Special Abilities:: Being a Blessed Human, Seryth naturally has unprecedented fighting and martial arts skills. --Deshantaru (Crushing Force)- An attack not triggered by fire, but by mind. It is invisible in being performed, therefore the opponent does not know if it is being brought up. Seryth simply looks at his opponent for only a few seconds and the attack takes place. It is an invisible, crushing force brought onto his opponent. It's like invisible diamond (which is unbreakable unless you can find some diamond of your own), pushing into its opponent farther and farther, crushing their whole body. Once complete, the attack has already taken out 50% of the opponent's health. It can only be used twice in one battle, and must allow three posts of recharge before using it again. --Gyaretto (Strong Spear)- This technique is quite powerful. Flaming metal spikes the size of Seryth's sword form in thin air, reaching very high and wide (large majority of playing field) and are sent forward with blistering speed. If hit (which is VERY likely), the opponent is hurt greatly and is temporarily not able to use any of their abilities for three of their posts and takes out 50% of the opponent's health. This can be used twice. --Naasir (Protect)- Seryth is now covered in a large mass of flame. This is a protective spell, so Seryth can avoid many attacks. And if an opponent attempts to break it by means of magic or physical strength, he or she is hurt and sent flying back. This can last for four of Seryth's posts and is unaffected by barrier breakers or anything of the like --Flaming Trap- With this ability, Seryth uses a few flames cast from his sword to send his opponent to a wall, the ground wherever, but when finally stuck, the opponent cannot move at all and cannot use their abilities. After all, their hands and whole body are constricted. The fire keeping them on the ground cannot be broken out of and constricts the opponent for three turns, taking out 10% of their health per turn. --Disabled Flame- This is a pretty simple attack, really. With a mild normal blast of flame contacting the opponent in any way will cause he/she/it to be frozen completely. The flame is just like any other that Seryth could send out so the attack is very unexpected. The opponent can't move, attack, use their abilities, blink, nothing for three turns except breathe. This gives Seryth the upper hand to attack and deal mighty damage. This may only be used three times per battle. : io::Years and years ago, it was said that a blessed child was born every 1,000 years. And this blessed child was not like any human that was seen before. These blessed children possessed the power of one given element. They would be born unto normal humans, and by some special supernatural force, they would be lead to a large, forever abandoned castle. This castle was hidden away deep in the mountains, unseen to any living being but the Creator. And it was there that this child would come to life. In describing blessed children, they are largely shaped by their given element. In their speaking, physical appearance, emotion, and personality. If a baby was to be born with the element of thunder, they would grow up to have a deep voice, a "shocking" personality (no pun intended), and would be angered easily. The child's physical appearance of thunder would be large and muscle bound. Getting to the meaning of this message, there was one blessed child unlike any other born unto this world. The first to be given the element of fire, and the first to be able to defy it. This child's name was Seryth Narovoy. In the castle he was born, his eyes a flaming red tinge. His parents were astonished. How would they come to treat a blessed child? They knew nothing of magic and spells, or even fighting for that matter. They were clueless and very questioning. Why was it them? Who did it? How did it happen? These questions were never answered, and they never needed to be. There were qualities of these parents that were suitable to raising a blessed child that they had not discovered. Though they did not feel that this was to be their fate, they carried out their mission to raise a blessed child of flame. They left the castle in a hurry. Seryth was crying and it was raining heavily upon the land. It could have caused death to do this. And death occurred. It just so happened that at the precise spot and latitude, Seryth's father was hit by a large blast of lightning. He screamed out in pain and slowly fell to the ground. Seryth's mom could not comprehend what was happening. It was such a beautiful day out before. It was as if Seryth being born caused this. All she knew was to find refuge. She ran and ran, but could not find any means of a good hideout. Lightning struck again and again, missing and missing by inches. Before too long, a large cave was in eye's view. Seryth's mom ran in with her baby wrapped in torn cloth and looked at him. He seemed so peaceful, as if the weather had nothing to do with his emotion. This was quite unusual, but nothing was very usual lately. Seryth's mom began to nurture him. . .and smiled at her young boy's peace, wishing that only she could feel it. Years passed and Seryth grew up to the age of ten. He was a very lively boy. He acted at the spur of each moment and did not plan well. He would run around in the woods and play with sticks and would come home to a sizzling plate of dinner. The world knowing that Seryth was a blessed child, they brought him and his mom to the greatest care the ruler of the land could offer. Seryth was happy. But there was one thing that he questioned. One day, out of the blue, without warning Seryth asked the one question his mom thought he would never ask: "What happened to dad?" His mom was cleaning some dishes and at the sound of each word, her eyes grew wider and wider. She opened her mouth, but was speechless. Seryth's mom had never prepared for this day. She always thought it would never happen. What a fool she had been. "Rain. . .lightning. . ." his mom answered. Seryth was confused but still intrigued by this question that burned inside his heart. He needed a solid answer before he could do anything. "What, ma? What happened?" Seryth asked. Tears began to flow down his mom's eyes as she told the story of Seryth and his destiny. Hours passed and Seryth was only more interested as time wore on. He came to find out about his heritage and about how his father was once a great warrior who never gave up. Even once against one whole army and only but a few hundred men, he stood his ground and with great wisdom, he won the battle. Seryth come to love his dad even though he never knew him; how his father was such a nice man, loved to have a laugh an dloved to spar. His father was most noted for the amazing battle he had with a whole army as mentioned before. The story was over and his mom was crying. Seryth hugged her and comforted her. "It's alright mom. . ." Seryth cared for his mom at that time but his mindset was now at growing to the potential of his father. He wanted to be a fighter stronger than his dad and he wanted to surpass him in any way possible. The next day, Seryth received a wooden sword from the local blacksmith and from that day on, he would watch the city guard practice training. Later on, he would begin training on his own. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Seven years later Seryth was fifteen years old and was a natural born fighter. Already at this age he was able to send small fireballs through the sky or create a small flame. It was unusual, of course because he was a blessed child, of course. He would seclude himself from the other children to train and spar with even some of the city guard members and would defeat them with his skill and prowess. He had received a real sword now, though kept it sharp. Seryth loved being a child of flame. He just never knew that he would need to exploit these abilities so soon. . . Only a few days passed before Seryth could hear the rumblings of thousands of footsteps. None of the townspeople knew except for Seryth because of his keen senses. The night came as thunder and lightning formed and took shape. The night sky that was once peaceful and welcoming was a forbidding dark shade of blue with great gray clouds coming in quickly. The footsteps were louder and were only about a mile away from the town. Seryth could now take the precise number of enemies there were. Well over 2,000. He needed to tell someone. He needed to tell the guard. Something had to be done. While in his dwelling, he left his room unseen and unheard and left with his sword. He ran to the town guard as fast as he could without being seen. He came and told the commander- Trint. "Commander Trint! We are on the brink of battle! We must do something!" Seryth yelled out. Trint was in his seat and desk, working out battle tactics. "Yes, that's amazing, Seryth. . ." Trint answered, unaffected. "Commander Trint! I can detect over 2,000. It is a powerful force and must be dealt with! Take a look through a telescope and you will find across the lands there are swarms of some horrible creature gathering to attack the town!" Commander Trint gripped his telescope and looked through. He brought it down quickly and looked at Seryth and nodded. After, he walked in a hurry yelling out: "Gather all the men able to fight!" "YES SIR!" a soldier agreed. He ran out and announced it to all the people of the town. A great battle was about to begin. . . The battle took place and every man able to fight was armed and ready to battle. Hundreds were posted at archer barricades across the East end and West end. The rest were posted in the middle and at the front city gate, awaiting the coming of their life or death. As the enemy came closer, their identity was given away. They were knows as ‘Flesh Keepers’. These were powerful creatures- black in color and glowing blue eyes. Their upper bodies were large and powerful and their limbs were small. They had a head that resembled that of a wolf except their fangs showed through, long and constantly dripping with blood. Seryth was at the front lines. He did not seem worried. Though is mom was very worried. She did not know where Seryth was though had the strong feeling that Seryth was out there, raring to fight. His sword was drawn and was set aflame as he stood next to Trint. “Looks like it’s your first real battle, eh Seryth? Scared?” He chuckled. “No. I want to defeat my enemy. That is the sole purpose in any battle and I intend to stick with that one philosophy.” Trint only ignored the comment as the first wave of creatures came forward. “Archers fire at will!” Thousands of arrows went flying into the air and glided, falling down to go through the tough hide of the monsters that were attempting to break through the town walls. All guards and warriors ran forward, Seryth in front ready to kill their enemy. It was a funny thing, though. The youngest was the strongest. The least experienced turned out to be the most experienced. Though Seryth had lived less a life than those behind him, he was in front of the line and ready to die for his home. The creatures thought of Seryth as easy meat and went for him first. Three Flesh Keepers jumped on him, though were blown away in flaming pieces. Seryth’s eyes were flaming as he jumped up high and cut three more Flesh Keepers down. It went on like this for a long while until Seryth spotted the leader of the army. It was an Elite Flesh Keeper. Twice as tall, muscle all over, and carried long, sharp claws on its paws. Seryth had his mind set to killing it. Killing the leader would cause less order and would weaken the enemy. Both warriors met eyes. They were both ready to kill their opponent. Seryth jumped, though feinted the Elite by landing behind it and sending a ball of flame to its back. It screamed out in great pain as it pushed Seryth hard to the ground. He grunted as he was bleeding at his chest. This pain only seemed to make him more determined. Seryth stood up and brought his sword downward. The attack was too quick for the creature to dodge, and soon the Elite was left with one arm. “Die scum!” Seryth yelled out. The battle wore on for hours and Seryth was always ahead. Seryth was truly a blessed human. His clothes were ripped and torn and he was bleeding in many spots, though not greatly. His opponent was weak, and was open for a finishing blow. Using this chance, Seryth jumped up and his sword cut away the Elite’s head. He lifted it high to show to his people. Though Seryth won his battle, the battle at the city gate was not in the town guard’s favor. At showing the Elite’s head, the guard grew in motivation and cheered. They fought harder than every as Seryth continued to fight as well. Trint, with his twin swords drawn ran towards Seryth, cutting Flesh Keepers down on his way and stood at his side. He was speechless at Seryth’s victory and did not know what to do next except run in honor of his homeland. Both warriors cut down many monsters as they plowed through. One spark of hope was all that was needed in order to win this battle. It was won, though left great damage. There would have been more if it weren’t for Seryth’s warning. Days later from resting, Seryth awoke to his mom smiling. She had been worrying as Seryth was asleep for days. She hugged him and began to cry. “Oh, you blessed child. You have saved me and the rest of the town. You have shown me who you really are. You are truly someone to be honored to be with. You are my child and I am so glad the Creator chose me to have you.” The two rejoiced at their happiness. And as that day passed, Seryth was presented as an honorary citizen of the town. The townspeople cheered and the king blessed him. Seryth still kept a serious outlook on this. Seryth was not satisfied with his accomplishments. All he did was become a brute and destroy those in his way. He had no reason except to protect his home. No one questioned why the Flesh Keepers came. It boggled Seryth’s mind. He decided he would investigate. At the age of 20, Seryth had learned very little. But this little amount of knowledge he gained was very valuable. He knew the dwelling of his enemy now and he intended to destroy every last Flesh Keeper. Leading an army of over one thousand, Seryth marched on. From dawn 'till dusk, the army walked, through forest and and mountain until they came upon the Flesh Keeper's dwelling. It was located inside an old abandoned mine deep inside the Hirono mountains. The stone door was there in front of the men and Seryth. All they had to do was enter quietly and siege it. The army was nervous. "You don't mean 1,000 strong do not mean to tell me that you are scared of Flesh Keepers?! We defeated one army, we can do it once more." Seryth drew a long line across the front of the army with his sword. "I am willing to die for my home- are you? If you walk across this line, you tell me you are brave and powerful. If you do not- I have nothing left to do but let you die." A compelling speech, every last soldier took a step across the sand and drew their swords and bows. "Are you ready?!" Seryth yelled out. The billowing battle cries of the army were heard and resonated throughout the land as they ran forward ahead of Seryth. Seryth smiled and ran ahead and into the hollowed mountain. The footsteps were loud as the men ran deeper and deeper into the mountain. And there they were. One thousand strong Flesh Keepers, their claws drawn and in fighting position. They roared as they took the initiative to charge. The men were happy to hear them. They were motivated- and ready to kill. They ran hard, one barricade with long spears ready to plunge through the first line of Flesh Keepers, the second with their swords drawn to take those leftover, and the line of bows and arrows to kill from a long distance. Seryth was ahead of the pack and he was screaming out all he had and ran at a very powerful force, his sword aflame and his empty hand ready to throw a few fireballs. Slashing and hacking, the Flesh Keepers went down- dead. The men were winning, though this was their darkest hour. There were more roars as another wave of Flesh Keepers ran, blood dripping from their claws. To accompany them were three, large, powerful Elites. This could mean the death of a whole army of men. Seryth knew better. Through searching and searching, he discovered the Flesh Keepers' weakest point. It was a spot just at the end of the ribs, in the middle of the chest. The spot was small, but Seryth knew that his sword would not fail him. He ran and ran with all his might until he reached one of the Elites. The Elite sent a claw hurtling downwards, but Seryth jumped away, took aim and flew forward with the might of a great warrior and straight into the Elite's chest. It screamed out in pain. The sound could have reached for miles 'round, even with the walls of the mountain. It stopped breathing and slowly fell to the ground. "One down, two to go." Though the two leftover saw the death of their comrade, they were emotionless, save for the fact that they were roaring at Seryth and sending their sharp claws down on Seryth every which way. Seryth dodged most, though was nicked every now and then. Once the two Elites' rampages were through with, Seryth sent a Single Gyaretto speeding into the Elites'. They had nothing to do but fall over and die. The men cheered for Seryth, though this angered him. "Fools! Focus on your targets, not me! You'll get your head cut off in an instant!" Seryth yelled out. As he said this, two Flesh Keepers jumped at Seryth. Seryth jumped back and sent his sword forward horizontally to send them both bleeding to the ground. Though Seryth had achieved these three victories, he knew that his men were beginning to deplete. He needed to find a way to take out a large mass of the Flesh Keepers- and there was only one way to do it. Seryth called out to his men: "Run this way towards me! Try to gain as much distance as you can from those morbid beasts!" Seryth's army then ran, leaving their enemy behind. Ignoring the questioning of his men (he knew what he was doing), he closed his eyes and focused- focused hard. The Flesh Keepers were getting closer and closer. Seryth had to be quick. His eyes opened wide abruptly as he yelled out. He sent his free hand forward with a jerk and by then, a large blast of fire hit a substantial part of the mountain wall. The stone fell down with a crack and overtook most of the enemy. Those who survived ran away. The battle was won. The army cheered under the command of their leader- Seryth Narovoy. He saved his town and avenged it. He was now satisfied. And for once in a long while, a full smile formed on his mouth. Seryth and his army marched away from their battlefield and went home to receive recognition from the King of town and every citizen living there. It was a great time for him. He felt good. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Days turned into weeks and love had invaded Seryth. A girl of the age of 18 had charmed her way into Seryth's heart. Her name was a Ada-Riku (appearance can be found in family). She was a beautiful girl. Able to wield a bow and wield it powerfully- and Seryth knew- she was the one. As if in some twist of fate, Ada-Riku was caught by a large band of thieves deep inside the Great Forest of Somcha. It is not known as to how Ada-Riku was saved, but Seryth had done it. They had done it together. Weeks passed and it was destined for Ada-Riku and Seryth to meet and court. Seryth loved her and she loved him. And the night came. . . The destined couple were both sitting out at the high tops of the castle Seryth once lived in. They were alone and the time came where it happened. They kissed, and through that kiss showed the couple's destiny. A light red aura began to glow around them as they both floated lightly into the sky. Their eyes were wide, both not knowing what was happening. All they knew was that they loved each other. They both fell down lightly, holding them in each other's arms. Their destinies were intertwined and there was nothing they could do about it. Seryth is now 30 years of age and Ada-Riku 28. They are both happily married and had moved off to a large, rural area filled with tall grass, trees, forest and a small lake. This was the best place for the two to live. Alas, this paradise was short lived as Seryth was quickly sent off by his home town army to help in the defense of the rest of the land. He chose not to lead an army, but to go about it on his own. He only knows that the enemy is multiplying and are much more than some Flesh Keepers. Ada-Riku wished to come with her love, but Seryth refused. She then took it upon herself to go alone, to help save her homeland. She could fight, and that was exactly what she would do. . . |

Re: Character List
Seeing as I've done some heavy editing to his profile I give you: The New and Improved (Biographically) Soledad Marquis!!
Name: Soledad Marquis Age: 21 Race: Human Sex: Male Hair:Black hair, spiked up so it stays out of his eyes Eyes: Dark brown eyes Weight: 155 lbs Height: 6 ft. 1 in. Weapon: A short sword with no special powers. He also carries a dagger with a magical jewel in the hilt that gives him the power to call it back to him. The hilt is gold and the short blade is serrated. The further away it is, the more he must concentrate to call it. Not only can he call it back, but he can also control its movement in the air. UPGRADE: A ruby found in a treasure cove on The Island of Waterfalls gives the dagger the ability to drain energy from any living thing that touches the blade and gives it to whatever touches the ruby next. This means that it can even drain Soledad, and it can give energy to whoever touches it first, Soledad or not. Armor: A simple light chain mail shirt. He avoids heavy burdens in order to stay quick and silent. Strengths: He was found to be skilled at sneaking and thieving, so he has taken the job of an assasin. He is great at hiding in the shadows, so he usually only goes out at night. Weakness: Since he's not usually out in sunlight, his skin is pale and he can be stunned by a bright light. He is usually weaker during the day. He is also no good at hand-to-hand combat because he's not too strong. Skills/Magic: Has the ability to cloak himself, making him invisible to even the well-trained eye. This works better in shadow, for in light he runs the possibility of being seen. In direct light his form appears as a shimmering version of whatever is behind him. Appearance: He can usually be found dressed in a black shirt, dark green pants and some black shoes. His shirt and pants have no design, but his shoes have magical symbols to imbue them with the power to help him stay silent and quick. He usually carries a sack on his belt to keep healing herbs and other useful items. His sword sheath is across his back and his dagger is kept out of sight most of the time at his waist. It is usually concealed by the a heavy black cloak that he usually wears over everything. In most circumstances, the hood is found pulled up, covering his face as the cloak hides his lean figure. Personality: During battle he will kill, but only what/who he needs to. He values life and does not believe that it should be wasted by killing needlessly. If he is threatened he will only defend himself until his life is in danger. In everyday life he is stand-offish. He does not like to talk, and he will answer things with as little talking as possible. If he gets annoyed he will sometimes show his dagger to get them away. He's not mean, he just likes to be alone and contemplate the world. Biography: He grew up in a large city with his parents and his older brother. It was a regular life, at the beginning. He always looked up to his brother, like any other small boy. He grew up in relative peace. His life was made simple by the fact that his parents had money. He lived comfortably all throughout his boyhood. Soledad was a good boy, but his brother always got bored. When he got into his teens, he began experimenting with other kinds of fun. Eventually he fell into the wrong groups and when he started getting into bad things, Soledad followed in his footsteps. His brother managed to get major debts, and Soledad's parents became suspicious and cut off his money supply. That's when his brother turned to more illegal methods of acquiring money. When his skill in sneaking was found out, Soledad was exploited by his brother and his friends. They used him to get the things they wanted. His life changed on one routine theft. "Come on Soledad," his brother prodded. "Do it for me." That line always worked, and it succeeded this time as well. "Alright," the young boy caved. Jumping quickly up a row of boxes, Soledad reached a high window and opened it with a small knife. Jumping down into the warehouse, he landed silenty and carefully, not tripping any alarms. Looking across the room, he noticed a master switch. Before moving, he kicked up dust all around him and revealed the trip wires all along the floor. Walking carefully, he easily made it over and disconnected the traps. Calling to his comrades, he opened the door to let them in. They charged in rowdily, ready to claim their spoils. In their eagerness they failed to be careful. Soledad had missed some traps and they were triggered quickly. Everyone dropped what they had and ran, trapping Soledad under a heavy dresser. Unable to move, he called out to his brother. "Diego! Where are you Deigo?" His calls got no reply. His brother had failed him. When the authorities had arrived, they brought him to his parents. They were immensely ashamed, and sent him off to his aunt's. She lived in a far-off village, and Soledad looked to his brother for support. Once again, he was let down. Soledad never told, and his brother never confessed. Off at his aunts, he trained himself in swordplay. A local sparring place gave him a place to train and learn. The open wilderness allowed him to hunt for himself and explore to his heart's content. But none of this gave him true joy; he always felt the stinging pain of his parents' rejection and his brother's betrayal. That never left him, even in the happiest of times. His aunt was a kind woman, allowing him freedoms he could never have had in the city. He could go wherever he wanted and do whatever he wished as long as he was back by dark. He exercised this freedom every day, often choosing to go off into the wilderness and support himself for the day. This seclusion led to his later personality...and his special weapon. One day while exploring in a cave near the beach, he saw something washed upon the shore. When he went closer to examine it, he found it was a treasure chest. He opened in eagerly, but saw nothing but a ratty, old map. When he brought it home to his aunt, she was surprised. When he asked her about it, she told him a story. "Do you know why I'm widowed?" she asked him, the firelight from her hearth illuminating her face. Soledad nodded slowly. "It's because my husband, your uncle, went off to sea and never returned. You see," Soledad hung onto every word of her tale, "your uncle was a pirate." She began to laugh, and Soledad dismissed it as a tale. A few weeks later, he noticed the map on his desk. After examining it closely for the first time, he noticed landmarks from around the area. Realizing that it was more than just a story, he followed it eagerly to the "X". When he reached the spot, he dug. After more than a day of digging and resting, he was just about to give up when his shovel hit something hard in the ground. Digging it out, he found another chest just like the one that had contained the map. Positive this was the treasure he knocked off the lock and opened it. Inside was no gleaming treasure, just a faded dagger and a small note. "The Dagger of Destiny. May the wielder find all of its powers and use it for good. When you complete it...it shall be the Ultimate Power." Soledad didn't understand any of it, but just picked up the dagger and examined it closer. It was nothing out of the ordinary. Just a golden hilt with a small, serrated blade attatched. Turning it over, he noticed a small blue jewel embedded in it. He attempted to pull it out, but it was set firmly. Giving up, he brought the chest and all to his aunt. When he showed it to her, she merely smiled and patted his head. "Take care of that dagger," was her only comment. When he got to the age of 19 he set off on his own to make an honest living. His aunt waved him off merrily and reminded him of his fate. "That dagger holds secrets neither you or I can imagine. Your uncle staked his life on it. Take good care of it." He could never hold a job, for his skills had only been developed in fighting and sneaking. For most of his life after his aunt he just kept moving from town to town. Finding no other alternative, he was approached by a shady character in a shady town. In a back alley, he got his first taste of his future. The man had an enemy, one he wanted dead. Soledad took the money and hardened himself for his kill. Unfortunately, something went horribly wrong. Forced to be on the run, Soledad continued doing the only thing he was good at. Now he travels around the world looking for another job so he can get some food and a warm bed to sleep in. UPGRADES: See Weapons. Approved by WOTS.

Skills/Magic:: Trained by his father, Drake quickly became an expert in Vajra Mushti at the age of 15. When he became a werewolf, his speed and strength were increased, as well as his Hearing and senses Biography: Drake was born in the village of Kohami, a quite happy and cheerful community. But there was a dark history behind the village, it was said that every century a young child was poisoned by a demon wolf, However the village people thought this was just a folktale, but that was not to last. One afternoon the Mayor of the village, Roger Thang, simply disappeared, Drake, eager to help the village, decided to investigate, so he set out, into the woods... He spent countless hours searching and he found nothing, it was as though the mayor had never even existed. He looked up at the full moon and realised it was late; “Hmmm...” Drake mumbled, “I guess I better head back soon.” He ran past each and every tree to get to Kohami, but much to his dismay, he was lost! "Umm… Hello?!" He shouted; Echoes were heard across every corner of the wood and fog thinly poured across the trees like a stream. "Is anybody there?!" Again his voice echoed but no reply. Drake ran trying to find a way out of the forest, but the fog turned so thick he couldn't see past the his own hands. Suddenly a dark gigantic silhouette leaped from a tree onto Drake, the dark figures details were revealed as the mist cleared, it was a giant wolf with blood red eyes! Drake reached for a broken branch lying on the floor and tried to hit the figure but the wolf resisted by sinking his teeth into Drake’s arm and snapping the bone. Drake screamed as the warm blood gushed out from his wound. He kicked the wolf off him, jumped onto to it and continued to violently hit it, again and again, somehow he was getting stronger. Eventually the wolf stopped it’s movement. “Oh God! No!” Drake wailed; He stared at the Mayor’s chain around the wolf’s neck and fell to the floor before throwing up, Drake looked up to the moon momentarily, it felt like someone had scolded his eyes. Sweat dripped from his brow and onto the floor and the hair on drakes arms stood on end, soon more hair quickly started to sprout out of his skin. There was a terrible snarling noise. Drake's head was lengthening. So was his body. His shoulders were hunching. Hair was sprouting visibly on his face and hands, which were curling into clawed paws, He then blacked out. The bright streams of morning light shone on his eyes, his clothes were shredded and his head was throbbing with pain, He opened his eyelids and appeared to be surrounded by small Children. "Are you alright?" one of them asked; "I’m...I’m fine" Drake weakly replied; "what happened?" "We found you here" another child replied; "Well Shraft did" "Who’s Shraft?" Drake questioned; The children pointed to another child perched on a rock kicking his feet in a river; "Ah, he’s awake!" Shraft babbled Drake looked around, he wasn’t in the woods anymore; he was far from it, "Were am I?" Drake asked "You’re at the gates of Trelbat" Shraft replied "Trelbat? That’s over 60,000 miles away, it’s the busiest city in the county, what am I doing here?" "You’re a strange one" one of the children said; "You’re a young man yet your hair is grey!" "What?!" Drake roared "Yes, and your eyes, what a strange colour, are they yellow?" Shraft leapt down from the rock on which he was sitting walked up to Drake; "Your clothes are in a terrible condition" He said leaning over; "where do you come from?" "Hey yeah!" responded a child; "Those aren't Trelbatian clothes." Drake responded, but his answer seemed fuzzy "I....I come from a village..... Kohami" The children all looked at each other and then roared with laughter "KOHAMI?!" one of them laughed "The `Village of Werewolves`? That place is a myth!" Confused, Drake got up from the ground and sprinted from the children. Somehow he knew what he had done, he had read the folktale of the Wolf-town hidden in Kohami’s forest. He lay himself on the hard tiled concrete floor and wept, He wept for his village, he wept for the Mayor and wept for himself. There was no way Drake could get back home now, He needed to protect the ones he loved but most of all he needed money, His pockets had been ripped open and the money inside must have fallen out. In a couple of days Drake became a thief and spotted a rich man walking across the streets. He crept over behind the man and carefully placed his hands into his pockets. Drake Grabbed hold of his wallet and yanked it out, but the man quickly felt it, He grabbed Drakes wrist and twisted it into a locked position, obviously this man had experience fighting! "Thief!" he shouted; "There’s only one place for thieves in this world, isn’t there? Prison or Hell!" Drakes eyes cast a glance at the full moon glowing behind some clouds, again his eyes started to burn and he immediately became blind; "No sir, let go!" Drake tried to run, but the man had his wrist firmly clamped, and Drake couldn’t use his Vajra Mushti in his current condition. "So what is it then Boy?! Hell or Prison, should I kill you now?!" the man shouted. The moon Burst out from behind the clouds and Drake fell to the floor; “I am going to ask you one more time” Drake’s voice creaked to a impossibly low growl; “LET ME GO YOU PARASITE!!” Drake’s hand painfully turned to gigantic claws and reversed the grasp the man had on his wrist. “W-wait!!” The rich man panicked as Drake’s muscles began to bulge out from his ripped clothes; “You want money right? Take it!” “I DON’T WANT YOUR MONEY!!” Drake growled; “I WANT YOUR BLOOD!” At that moment his possessed voice finally manifested itself to a mere Growl, His transformation was complete. He picked the man up mauled him up into tiny pieces in the air above him. The next morning he awoke with blood stained clothes; “Oh dear God, No!” Drake fell to his knees; “I need to find an antidote, I can’t let another soul Die!” Drake gazed at the rising red sun over Trelbat. |
