Re: Character List
Name: Merran
Age: 16 Race: Shiekah Sex: Male. Hair: Shoulder-length, straight white hair with blue highlights on his bangs. Eyes: A light teal Weight: 165lbs. Height: 5'6 Weapon: A refurbished longsword. Iron handle with shadow temple symbol carved into the base of the sword and slightly inhanced with shadow magic energy & it has a steel dual-edged blade. His sword is designed to be lighter then the average longsword for quicker combat. This also makes the sword a bit more fragile and less effective in deflecting attacks. He also carries a black handled wakizishi with a sharpened single edged blade for close combat and emergencies. Armor:Wheres a suit of leather armor. The armor is made of several paddings sewn together and then burnt into place for holding. The leather is darkened and softened to make it less easy to see. If you notice in the corner there are rune markings in the shoulderpads of the armor. These are the symbols of his family which he had marked into his armor as a symbol of his family. He often travels in a large thin cloak with a white rose design on the back with sharp tribal markings surrounding it and the symbol of the lens of truth at the back of the neck. Strengths: Is a strong and effective swordsman. His fighting technique is based on quick critical attacks. He is trained to locate weak points in an opponent and strike violently but accurately. Focuses mainly on slash attacks and backstabbings as thrusting in combat leaves you a little more vulnerable but does it often when attempting escape. Has a very agile and quick witted nature, preffering to fight strategicly over anything else. Can resist dark magics at a moderate rate. He has an accute sence of hearing and strong vision both by day and nocturnally that help him in stalking and recognising enemies while stealthing. He can move at mind-bending speeds but not for more then a few seconds at a time and not for an extreme distance. Aspires to be a master swordsman and assassin. Weakness: Merran lacks a strong defense in melee combat. He never fully learned to use a shield or block effectively with a sword. He is a good dodger but if hit, he will take a good deal of damage from most attacks due to lack of natural armor and stamina. This is a strong contributer to why he prefers stealth kills and being head-on if seen to avoid much resistance. He is strong but not a jugernaught and can't rely on his strength alone by any means. usually lacking companions, if ambushed he is almost forced to try and escape. Skills/Magic: Sword contains slight dark magic qualities: chance of casting a shadow bolt at target for dark magic damage. this has better chance if used in the dark. Also affective stealth abilities. Hopes to eventually learn to create illusions but at this point, has no experience in the matter whatsoever. Appearance: He is relatively thin but still holds definition in his figure. He has a strong and stern face, that is yet thin and shows signs of fault and mortality. Although young, he appears to hold much wisdom in his eyes and often paints his face with violet and blue tribal symbols around his eyes and cheekbones. These symbols represent the scars of battle and the hold they keep on oneself. His skin is deathly pale and he lacks facial hair of any kind. His appearence doesnt really matter to him and he doesnt change how he looks any more then he feel he should. His hair, long as it is, often finds itself in his face, this is why he likes to tie it back while in combat, when not in comabt however, it will be straight down on the sides of his face. He can rarely be seen in public places especially those with a strong town guard working, due to his criminal records. If you do manage to see him however, he will most likely be wearing a large thick cloak with a white rose design on the back with sharp tribal markings surrounding it and the symbol of the lens of truth at the neck. He also wears a black sash with bright teal trim over his mouth and a black silk collorless shirt and matching pants with the same bright teal trimmings. Personality: He is a deep and serious person. Constantly looking out for his fellow man, but only if that man is someone he respects. If you are foolhardy enough to try something dangerous he may not help you out and let justice live out it's part on you. He is cunning and tries to use his wits to defeat an enemy opposed to brute strength or flashy spells. He prefers not to remain in combat with one enemy for two long and sometimes becomes impatient and hostile with his opponent. this he considers his greatest weakness. He also likes to look for the finer things in life and would much rather look out at a sunrise over a beautiful horizon then become famous and win gratitude of others. He tries not to get involved in the affairs of others, and keeps to himself unless someone attempts to speak to him...and even then, he might ignore you unless you have something worth saying to him. Biography: Merran was born the son of a shiekah soldier in kakariko village. His father was a loyalist to the hylian army and would risk his life to keep hyrule's people safe. His mother, was shiekah peasant woman who often struggled and was had been ridiculed due to her inability to learn. Merran loved his mother dearly and often became hostile when others mocked his mother for her lack of strong education. He was constantly in trouble for fighting but was never a bad kid and claimed that he brawled only for self defence. Soon after leaving adolescence, his father began to teach him the way of the sword. All the while, his mother taught him to respect the world and the natural order of things. She may not have been as intelligent as others, but she had a great deal of spirit which Merran respected and grew on. As simple and happy as his life was, Merran longed for something bigger and greater. He constantly dreamed of adventuring and sword fighting duels. He often became so lost in thought that he sometimes slacked on his chores. He also enjoyed wandering away from the village to explore the wilderness, which often got him in serious trouble. He didn't mind the harping though. On one of these wanderings, when he was 10, he found a small cavern. feeling brave, he quickly grabbed a nearby stick and charged headfirst towards the cave. It was dark inside, and he was shivering from the cold. Just when he became tired and started to turn around to go back, he could hear clicking from behind him. Giant spiders erupted from the ground in their dark dwelling in search of the meat that had just waltzed so kindly into their lair. Merran began to run. This to no avail, as the spiders quickly pounced him and began to spindle around him. His screams grew muffled under the sticky thread and his tears, so hot that he could no longer see, began to stop under the pressure of these great beasts. Fighting was futile and only caused him more pain. He helplessly struggled as the hellish creature's talons clawed their way into his flesh and injecting a numbingly painful poison into his blood. Merran inevitably blacked out seeing nothing more but blackness. His eyes hurt as he slowly opened them. His body was stiff and it hurt a little to move. he managed to pull himself to a sitting position and managed to lean against the nearest object he could see. it took him a few minutes to realize he was outside again and that he was in the company of a man. The man's face was veiled by a cloak the covered his body from head to foot. "what is your name, child of Shadow?" he asked in a stern but kind voice. Terrified, Merran could not reply. "i should probably introduce myself, then will you speak to me? I am Blitzkhan, the greatest elven assasin within a hundred miles! as a matter of fact, probably the ONLY elvish assasin within a hundred miles! Please, i mean you no harm. A child such as yourself shouldnt travel through these dark woods unarmed, much less, enter the spider caverns!" Merran couldn't find himself to respond for several minutes. He soon managed to speak however and quickly grew to the company of Blitzkhan. He found it hard to actually keep from talking after an hour or so. Blitzkhan didn't mind. He loved the company and it was almost impossible to not tell that he was smiling, despite the fact that his face was completely concealed. They talked greatly for hours and Merran listened intently to all of his companion's stories of advenure and battles. unfortunately, as the night began to close, It was time to return home. Blitzkhan took him back to the forest's edge as dawn approached and they said there goodbyes. "will I ever see you again blitzhan?" merran asked hopefully to his new hero. he hesitated to answer but then kindly replied "maybe someday when your a great adventurer! and I know you will be." He was then gone, out of Merran's life, maybe forever. These words had sparked something in him though, and that sprak fired his dream to adventure. Unfortunately, when Merran's dream began to come true, it did not come in the way he would have ever wanted it to. Due to an accident while collecting water, his mother had fallen into a well and drowned. Soon after, his father went insane and disapeared over the grief. In a matter of months, Merran was alone with not but a large sum of ruppees left for him to survive on by his father to his name. Merran went out into the world to become an adventurer and maybe someday, a Master Swordmaster and Expert Assassin. |

Re: Character List
Name: Larena Fanaren (La-ray-na Fa-nah-ren)
Nickname: Rainbow Eyes Age: 24 Race: Elven Sex: Female Hair: Blonde Eyes: Rainbow Weight: 67 kg Height: 1.92 m Theme Song: Rainbow Eyes - by Rainbow Weapons: Steel rapier with silver hilt, 94 cm Strengths: Having considerable skill with the rapier, she can easily defend herself in an attack. Being quite athletic, she is nimble on her feet, giving her a graceful agility, a significant advantage in battle. Her heavy money pouch always at hand gives her quite a leverage in any situation, and means that she can just about afford anything. She has an adamant willpower that allows her to put her mind to doing anything she needs to and stand up to anyone posing a threat or defiance. Another attribute she has no fear of using to her advantage is her beauty, but never in a wanton way, mainly because she would loath to be reduced to an object in other's eyes. Weaknesses: Though trained in the art of swordmanship, she has no battling experience beyond sparring matches, therefore a skilled and experienced warrior could overpower her. She may be the adventurous type, but her aristocratic upbringing has meant that she has come to rely on a warm bed and food being available whenever she requires them, thus if she finds herself deprived of such comforts she might find it difficult to cope. The fact that she has no real armour and that her clothes give minimal protection, a weapon attack could cause her significant damage. Her weapon being a rapier also offers her reduced defensive capabilities, especially against a heavier blade. Skills: She is a skilled dancer, knowledgeable and practiced in most popular court dances, including some human ones. Putting her rapier skills to good use, she is a seasoned participant in sporting events of swordplay. She is fluent in many languages, particularly in the Elven tongues, including several human languages and a few dwarven dialects. Having taken horse-riding lessons from a small age, she is now an accomplished rider. Appearance: ![]() (image courtesy of Lineage II : The Chaotic Chronicle) Personality: Larena is not one to hold back, she displays a dynamic personality that causes others to either build up great respect for her or distance themselves from her. The fact that she tends to display a certain arrogance on occasion, due to her royal heritage and Elven identity, usually calls for the latter. She displays a caustic, English-wit humour which permeates her thoughts and speech. She also usually enjoys giving a playful teasing to everyone she meets. Sometimes she tends to be somewhat hot-headed and take insult easily, but only with people she does not know well. It is difficult to discern what she makes of others, due to the fact that she masks most of her personal thoughts behind a tough exterior. She enjoys listening to slow, melodic music, which is probably one of the few times her emotions are plainly apparent. Quite the social type, she easily engages in conversation and is able to hold her ground in any debate. She is generally quite active and lively, though she occasionaly enjoys drifting away and relaxing in peace. She is also the flirtatious type, engaging in courtship whenever given the opportunity, usually in a playful or teasing manner. At this point it should also be noted that Larena is bisexual, meaning that she feels an attraction to both males and females, even though this tendency doesn't surface very often. In other words, there is only a select group of females that she would feel any sort of attraction to. She is in actuality indifferent to men seeing as she's been in a lot of relationships, viewing them more as a hobby of sorts. As a result, her very few relationships with the same gender have been generally more meaningful than her relationships with men. Also, although she would never admit it, she is quite a sucker for compliments. Another peculiar aspect of her personality is her love of good cuisine, indulging shamelessly in all sorts of dishes and never fearing to make her enjoyment audible. Whenever questioned on how she manages to maintain her figure, she attributes it to an undisclosed secret. She is confident in her sword-wielding abilities, and though she is arguably not experienced, she will attempt to defend herself, though she may be somewhat uncomfortable with the idea of killing. History: Larena was born in the elvish city-state of Alduren, her father being the ruler of the city, her mother tragically dying whilst giving birth to her. Alduren was nestled amidst a gentle ravine, adorned with lush and bountiful temperate vegetation, with a shallow stream coursing along it, dotted with numerous waterfalls. At the very heart of the city, the ravine is bordered by tall cliffs which prevent any invading rmies from flanking the defences. Moving further downstream, the cliffs fall steadily in height, until they merge with the ravine and proceed to form a wide valley. Moving upstream the elevation rises, leading to sharp inclines and cooler temperatures, until the cliffs merge with the snow-capped mountains in the distance. As a young girl, she was usually shy and reserved, particularly in the presence of elders, and especially her father. Her bond with him was a strange one, a mix of both love and fear, coupled with a sense of wonder. For her childish self however, he was the world. Even so, when she was on her own, away from the conformity of aristocracy, she was fearless, never holding back. Brave and adventurous, she found herself exploring and playing in the beautiful land of her father, usually in the company of boys. As a result, she was mostly a tomboy, having little to do with the other timid girls her age. She had a happy, carefree childhood, but she was also tutored in various subjects ranging from ancient runes to horse-riding, so she also grew up with a formidable education. Reaching puberty, Larena found it difficult to adjust. She was so accustomed to the presence of boys, that she did not feel anything in particular towards them. And her closest male friends were also so used to playing with her, that they didn't develop any feelings for her. However, as she began to assume the beauty of her mother, other boys who did not know her so well started showing an interest in her, something which only made her feel awkward and confused. As she began coming of age, her best friends started getting girlfriends and spending less and less time with her, and she began to feel left out and unwanted. Maybe that's why her first true love happened to be another girl. Her name was Taenuviel, although Larena preferred calling her Tae for short. At first, Larena felt very awkward around her, even to the point of shyness. But as she let her affections start to show, she was amazed to see that they were returned. Their relationship grew until Larena realised that she was falling in love with Tae, so she decided to let her feelings for her out into the open. Much to Larena's joy, Tae returned the feelings, and they became a couple, even though they kept the relationship a secret from most people, especially her father. For the first time in a long time, Larena felt happy. As she reached early adulthood however, she began to be assailed by countless suitors seeking her hand in marriage, most of them eager to lay a hand on the heirdom of her father's throne. Much to her father's puzzlement and even annoyance, she rejected any and all offers. She loved Tae with all her heart, and would allow nothing to come between them. However, something happened which she did not expect. Lured by the prospect of wealth and power and motivated by lust, Tae started an affair with a young elven noble from another kingdom behind Larena's back, leading up to a marriage proposal. Tae broke the news to Larena in the most blunt way imaginable the day before she left with the noble. She said how Larena had only been a mere pass-time for her all this time, and that she was deluded if she believed that Tae would have settled for her. She wasn't about to give up everything for Larena. Concluding her speech, she abandoned an extremely shocked and heart-broken Larena, and left with her would-be husband. Larena was simply devastated. She spent three days locked up in her room, barely eating and crying almost constantly. Her naivety had cost her greately, and now she could find no solace. In the end, she picked up the pieces of her broken heart and vowed to never let herself get hurt like that again. And from this experience came a new Larena, who had no qualms with flirting with the opposite sex. She used the steady stream of suitors which continued to prey upon her as a chance to become acquinted with being in relationships with men, forming several different ones but never actually considering a serious future with any of them. Needless to say, there were also a few females again with whom she had brief relationships with, and even though they were in general more meaningful, they were, too, not with much forseeable future. Larena eventualy became disenchanted with her constricted life within Alduren and the constant stream of short-lived relationships with boring people, her instinct of adventure driving her to explore the outlying world and see what it has to offer. Much to her father's dismay, she confronted him and let him know of her wishes to leave Alduren. Her father was eager on marrying her off to one of the suitors and securing a heir to the throne, but Larena would hear nothing of it, putting her foot down before him for perhaps the first time in her life. In the end, her father could do nothing but give her his wishes and hope for her safe return some day. So Larenia gathered a few belongings, her beloved rapier, and a large sum of gold, and set forth to see what lay beyond Alduren.

Mesfido, The Fallen Angel.
(Approved by Drewey)
The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity, Surely some revelation is at hand: Surely the Second Coming is at hand.” (Extract from The Second Coming by W.B Yeats.) Name: Mesfido Age: 8562 Race: Angel Sex: male Hair: Mesfido has fine, blonde hair. Thin, crimson streaks taint its chaste strands, dark red fragmenting the blonde all the way to the very tips. The fallen angel wears his hair in three tight plaits, the largest falling between his elegant wings, reaching down to just above his lean waist; the others drop down before his cobalt eyes, ending about his chest. Eyes: Mesfido's eyes are normally cobalt blue but when Venalis takes control they turn dark, almost navy, blue. Weight: 114kg Height: 6”7” Weapon: [The Sword of the Pact; Venalis] The Sword of the Pact is a huge sword. Its blade is over five feet long, the handle adding another foot to that. The blade is made of an ancient metal, harder than any other. It is unknown to even the most accomplished metal workers. A pitch-black substance covers the metal in places. The weapon’s edges jut out in several spots forming lethal ripping tips. A large glowing ruby called the Crimson Blood is embedded near the point of the sword; a smaller octagonal sapphire is fixed at the base of the blade near the hilt. There is also a small thin black onyx rooted into the pommel. The hilt itself is made of steel, the handle is formed from of a soft wood like substance with leather wrapped about it for grip. The Sword of the Pact was the first blade ever created. It is said that the blade was forged when the Creator and Lucifer formed a pact; this was the pact that lead to heaven and hell, right and wrong, sinners and righteous men. The huge sword symbolizes the coming together and agreement of good and evil, therefore it contains both pure good and pure evil. When Mesfido obtained the Sword of the Pact it took on its corrupt form known as Venalis. This form of the sword is the reason for Mesfido’s evil side. Mesfido’s evil side is also known as Venalis as it is the manifestation of the sword’s evil energies. [The Sword of the Pact; The Crimson Blood] The Crimson Blood, also known as Corpus et Sanguis and the Body Seal, is the ruby embedded in the blade of the Sword of the Pact. The mysterious gem gives Mesfido complete control over his own body. With it he can manipulate his organs, blood flow or any other body function. These powers give him the ability to do things such as breath through his skin, heighten a chosen sense or stop his heartbeat along with many other endless possibilities. The powers of Corpus et Sanguis were unlocked during Scion’s possession of Mesfido. The huge rise in power triggered the awakening of the gem’s dormant powers. The Sword of the Pact: Facts unknown to Mesfido. These facts are by no-means to be used by anybody other than myself in any RPs which Mesfido partakes in. The Sword of the Pact has tainted Mesfido’s body because it is the keeper of the balance between good and evil, since Mesfido was an angelic being it balanced his body’s energies by pouring evil into him. Mesfido’s body now contains two minds, his own and that of Venalis. Mesfido’s spirit is the one unchanged feature of his being. The sword’s balance can be upset and changed. Since Mesfido’s body “bonded” with the Sword of the Pact he has become the supplier of its energies. When Mesfido commits either good or evil acts he feeds the sword either good or evil energies. Only through experience, vigorous metal training and several other unknown events shall Mesfido be able to lock the true powers of the Sword of the Pact. The Sword of the Pact has many forms other than Venalis. Mesfido has actually experienced one of these forms: Ventum. While the sword was in this form Mesfido was momentarily able to tap into some of its hidden powers. It was the brief truce between the feuding minds of Mesfido and Venalis that led to the sword transforming. Ventum is one of the three balanced forms the Sword of the Pact. As the Sword of the Pact currently stands bound to Mesfido nobody but the fallen angel is capable of wielding it. It repels all other beings. If the Sword of the Pact were to become completely absorbed by good or evil energies it would turn Mesfido into a being of complete good or evil. Armour: Mesfido doesn’t wear armour but the majority of the right side of his torso is covered in a dark, rock hard substance. Sparing Armour A simple training outfit that Mesfido received from Kenjin during his training. Its special properties mean that the Encorna can use it to change the weight of Mesfido’s body. The Sparing Armour covers most of the angel’s body. A pitch-black sleeveless shirt is worn across his chest with a white undershirt beneath it. A section of the black substance that covers part of Mesfido’s right side is still visible on his right arm. There are two holes in the back of the shirt from which Mesfido’s wings protrude. A yin-yang symbol is visible in the lower left hand corner of the shirt. Two white bands are wrapped tightly around his forearms. When wearing the Sparing Armour Mesfido’s usually tan coloured trousers turn black. Thin white zigzags wrap their way around his legs down to where the trouser legs meet his new black boots. Strengths: Mesfido is incredibly strong and also very skilled with a sword; he can cut through most substances with a quick swing from Venalis. Parts of the right side of his body are covered in a dark, rock hard substance that helps protect him from harm. He has the ability fly. He can also use wind, fire, light and shadow magic. Corpus et Sanguis gives Mesfido complete control over his own body allowing him to manipulate it at his own will. The Crimson Blood’s skills give Mesfido the ability to implement a wide variety of tactics. The fallen angel has a high pain threshold meaning that he can often fight on unhindered by most of his wounds. Weaknesses: Mesfido lacks any proper armour. Mesfido’s split personality often causes him to suddenly change his mind. The concentration he requires to contain his dark side puts massive strain on his mind and body. Mesfido’s high tolerance for pain, albeit a strength, can often be a weakness. It means that he will occasionally use large amounts of energy and strength without feeling the full damage that it causes his own body, this means he will sometimes push himself too far past his limits. Skills/Magic: After living for so long and having experienced so much Mesfido has picked up many skills and is also a master of hundreds of different languages. Being an angel he is also capable of speaking with animals. He also possesses the skills to perform holy rituals and rights. He is a skilled craftsman. Mesfido can use wind, fire, light and shadow magic. Wind Magic Name- Incantation- Effect Blast Breeze-“Flatus”- Fires a strong blast of air at the target sending them flying backwards. Entwining Tempest-“Typhon”-The air around the target begins to swirl about them and makes them do a sudden quick spin launching them several feet into the air. Used to knock the opponent off guard and daze them. Sky Slasher-“Caelum Ferio”- Launches several blades of air at the target, slicing at what ever it makes contact with. This takes 30 seconds to cast. Whirlwind Safeguard-“Typhon Massa”-Creates a small blast of air used to knock projectiles out of the air. Fire Magic/Skills (none of these require incantations.) Passive Skills Manipulate Fire- This skill gives Mesfido the ability to manipulate fire outside and inside his own body. Fire Amalgamation- This skill gives Mesfido the ability to absorb fire element into his own body. When he uses this skill the tints of red in his hair and wings are set alit by tiny flames. Normal Skills (Mesfido must have absorbed fire element to perform these skills.) Igneus Aestus (Fiery Surge)-Mesfido releases all the fire he has absorbed in either one gigantic wave of fire element or several much less powerful waves. Exardesco Ardens (Zealous Flame)-Transformation-Fire erupts from Mesfido’s body coating him in flames. The Sword of the Pact is covered in a swirling white-hot inferno. This skill increases the power of Mesfido’s Fiery Surge skill and adds fire element to his Entwining Tempest and Sky Slasher techniques. Mesfido can only maintain this form if there is an abundant supply of fire element nearby. Light Magic (only usable when his good side is in control.) Sun Blast-“Sol Clangor”- This creates a blast of extremely strong light that temporarily blinds the target. Holy Bolt-“Iaculum Sanctus”- Creates an ethereal bolt of pure light energy that is highly damaging when used on the undead and demons. Shadow Magic (only usable when his evil side is in control.) Dark Cloak-“Dissimulo Tenebrae”- Wraps the target in a coat of shadows temporarily immobilizing them. This takes 30 seconds to cast. Shadow Fist-none-Strikes out with his right hand causing reasonable damage. Sword Techniques Venalis Tempo-“Venalis Impetus”- Mesfido begins to swing his sword madly at speeds he can’t normally reach. Venalis Judgment-“Sententia Venalis”-The Sword of the Pact begins to draw power from all the nearby shadows and light. Once it has absorbed enough power it releases a potent orb of magical energy that is extremely effective against both angelic and demonic beings. It takes 2-5mins to cast. The Crimson Blood The power of the Crimson Blood gives Mesfido complete control over his own body. With its powers he can manipulate his body’s blood flow and organs. An example of its less spectacular powers would be the ability to stop his body bleeding thus stopping blood loss. Another example would be the ability to breath through his skin or to stop his heartbeat. The Crimson Blood Skills Bloody Influence- Mesfido can direct his blood flow towards any area of his body increasing the efficiency of the muscles in that region. The downside to this technique is the fact that when pouring blood into certain muscles the rest of his body runs low on blood causing it to weaken and slow down Bloody Influence, Examples: If Mesfido directs the blood towards his legs he becomes capable of running faster, to his wings increases his flying speed, to his arms increases his attack damage and speed. Blood Clotting- Mesfido can instantly clot small wounds and cuts. Scorching Blood- The blood in Mesfido’s body begins to boil causing his speed to increase to high new levels. He can’t maintain this for long as even with his high pain threshold it still causes him sever pain if he attempts to. Miscellaneous Skills Angelic Touch-When he touches another living thing with his left had he can will his energy into them, healing them. Demonic Touch-When he touches another living thing with his right hand he can slowly drain their energy and use it for his own (this doesn’t heal him just replenished his magical energy.) Healing Stone-Mesfido has a small marble touchstone with the angelic rune of healing on it. When he sits in a mediating position and holds the stone between his two hands he can begin to slowly heal his own wounds. This requires over two hour’s concentration before any healing actually begins and then an additional x-amount of hours depending on the severity of the wounds. Personality: Mesfido has what many would call a split personality. The dark energies from the Sword of the Pact have tainted his body and created a dark side within him, this dark side is known as Venalis. His mind is always under the mental strain of trying to contain Venalis; a simple lapse in concentration can cause this evil side to come forth. His evil side is utterly insane. It knows no good. Venalis will do what he wills and never feels remorse. He is a sadist and unmerciful. This evil side is quite literally a killing machine. The good Mesfido is quite a pitiful man but he is a kind man. He has a great sense of integrity. He will always do what he can to help others no matter the price. He often tends not to reveal himself to the people he helps. Mesfido normally distances himself from humanity and rarely visits populated regions. The fallen angel can seem like a rather cold person but once he gets to know someone better he may open up though he will always be cautious of his own actions. Mesfido is beginning to become more open and now seems stronger in himself than the pitiful man he was becoming, though occasionally he will return to his shell of sorrow. It is the friendships of people like Jaina and Rex that have helped Mesfido overcome his self-loathing. Mesfido has never really known how to act around women; their actions often confuse him. When around certain women, especially ones he is attracted to, he will become rather clueless almost like an ignorant child. He only really shows this more normal side of himself to people he trusts and feels comfortable to be around. Mesfido can often be over trusting and can sometimes be easily manipulated. If someone doesn’t manage to obtain his trust it is always for good reason. He will always treat people he distrusts with a mild neglect. Mesfido is always willing forgive and will always admit his mistakes if he judges someone wrongly. Appearance: ![]() Unbelieve pic of Mesfido drawn by the mighty DekuQueen, and coloured by me. Mesfido is tall and muscular. His most striking feature is the dark, curved, tattoo like markings that cover nearly his entire right arm and right side of his chest. These strange marks started at this right hand and then spread up his arm and onto his torso and the very base of his wings. His wings are massive, a span of about eleven feet, white with streaks of blood red and feathered. They jut out of his bony shoulder blades, almost like feathered extensions of the limb. Mesfido has long blonde hair with crimson streaks running through it; he always has tied into three separate plaits. When Mesfido is in control his eyes are light cobalt but when Venalis is in control they are an extremely dark, almost navy, blue. Mesfido has quite a thin face with a prominent jaw. He wears an earring with the angelic rune of courage on either ear. The Sword of the Pact is always in its enchanted sheath that is held to Mesfido’s back with a thick leather cord that crosses over his bare muscular chest. The glow of Corpus et Sanguis can often be seen radiating through the magic sheath’s tough leather. His deceased friend, Expertus, made the sheath especially for him. The sheath has several angelic runes on it that enable it to help restrain Venalis. Mesfido only wears a pair of tan coloured trousers and a thick pair of leather boots for clothing. A tough, golden band, from which he hangs his healing touchstone, holds up his trousers. The ends of his trousers are always tucked into the tops of his thick, leather boots. Sparing Armour- See armour section for a description of Mesfido while he is wearing this outfit. History: -Mesfido was a man over eight thousand years ago. He was one of the first settlers in Europe. -He was the leader of his clan and was respected by all. -He was killed during a hunting expedition by a huge beast with a lion’s head and dog’s body. The beast had already destroyed his village, which is why his hunting group was tracking it. -The beast killed him when he jumped in front of his best friend to protect him from it. - He was resurrected and reborn as an angel, a reward for his selfless act. He was given the name “Tueor” meaning to protect. -Over the next thousand years he served his masters to the full of his abilities. He was given the title of Archangel. -Tueor led the angelic forces to many victories over the forces of Satan. -Tueor fell in love with a roman woman called Celina. -Celina and her family were killed by a group of bandits. -Tueor requested for Celina to be reborn as an angel. She was. -After the fall of the Roman Empire Lucifer’s forces grew dramatically. This led to a thousand year war between Heaven and Hell called the War of Alliance. This was the cause of the Dark Ages. -The angelic forces were under massive threat of being defeated during the War of Alliance. Tueor and Celina were two of the generals in the angelic army. -Tueor’s commander, Famulus, believed that the only way to defeat the demons was a direct assault on hell. -Tueor tried to convince Famulus that an assault on hell would not work but Famulus refused to see otherwise. In the end Famulus gave Tueor three days to come up with an alternative. -Tueor was forced to make a bold and dangerous move. - Tueor and Celina set flight for Bethlehem. A truly powerful weapon was hidden there. It was known only as the Sword of the Pact. -Tueor and Celina located the sword after much difficulty. The angelic forces had begun the assault on hell and were suffering heavy casualties. Darkness was spreading. -They found the Sword of the Pact hidden within a massive cavern deep beneath the town. -The sword lay in a massive stone pedestal. There was an inscription on the pedestal. I am benevolence, I am One, I am All, I am the bridge that connects the sides.” -Tueor pulled the sword from the pedestal. -The lion headed beast that had killed him when he was human appeared. It attacked the two angels. They managed to fight it off. During the fight they discovered that it was in fact Satan himself. -When the fight began a mysterious black substance had begun to spread up Tueor’s right arm. Once they had fought off Satan it had spread across nearly his entire right side. -Suddenly he turned on Celina. He began to laugh insanely. “I AM VENALIS!”With a massive battle cry he struck his partner’s head from her shoulders. -Tueor quickly returned to the battlefield, his dark side in control. He instantly turned the tide, spreading death wherever he passed. -After defeating the demonic forces he turned on his fellow angels. He killed many hundreds of them but eventually they managed to restrain him. -They attempted to remove the sword from him but no one could touch it, it repelled everyone. -After Tueor was restrained his good side regained control. He became plagued with guilt. He was imprisoned for years and made no attempt to escape. -After over two hundred years of imprisonment his friend, Expertus, visited him. Expertus brought a magical sheath with him. The sheath was designed to help contain Tueor's dark side. -Once Tueor had placed the Sword of the Pact in the sheath, he was summoned to the Council of Angels. -At the council it was decided that he was to be exiled from heaven, but he was given one final order- He was to protect the sword from falling into evil hands. He was also given a new name, Mesfido, which is taken from the Latin for mind and split-Mens and Findo. -After the council Mesfido’s darker side broke free momentarily, it killed a few angels including Expertus. Mesfido managed to regain control of himself. He quickly fled heaven and returned to the earth. -Mesfido spent years on earth cowering in his shame. He was becoming a truly pitiful creature. His entire being was focused on containing his evil side. -When Mesfido was at his most pitiful Lucifer came to him. Lucifer had claimed Celina’s soul when Mesfido had struck her down. She was now one of Satan’s most loyal followers. -Satan offered to return Celina to Mesfido if he did his binding. -Mesfido accepted. -For the next few hundred years Mesfido served Lucifer. His dark side was in control most of the time. -Mesfido learnt much about the Sword of the Pact from Lucifer. He learnt that the sword took on different forms depending on its owner. Since Mesfido was an angel the sword had taken on one of its evil forms, Venalis. The sword had then pumped its evil energies into his body until he had become a being of balanced good and evil. His evil side was in fact the manifestation of the evil energies within the sword. -After Mesfido had been doing Lucifer’s deeds for over a thousand years he stumbled apon something that caused him to leave the devil’s service. He discovered that Celina was in fact in love with Satan himself. After that he realized he had been doing Satan’s work for no reason. He would never be able to win back Celina. -Mesfido’s good side managed to regain some slight control and he left the fiery pits of hell. He was now hiding from the forces of both good and evil. -Celina often visits Mesfido. She is always trying to make him turn to evil. He now loathes her. He despises her with every part of him; even Venalis has a certain dislike for her. -Mesfido now travels the world trying to atone for his sins. -One day Mesfido arrived in the Dome, seeking strength. -One of the first feats Mesfido had to overcome in the Dome was opening the doors of Kenjin, the Encorna’s private dojo. Mesfido only just managed to open the doors by tapping deep into the powers of the Sword of the Pact. This was the first time he had been able to access some of its hidden powers. -After Mesfido opened the Encorna’s doors Kenjin decided to take him on as his student. -A week passed and Mesfido's powers grew. After witness the death and revival of his dearest companion, Jaina, Mesfido left the Dome, putting his training on hold. -After leaving the Dome Mesfido came across a young man named Rex. -Rex carried the burden of the demon of deceit and fire, Scion. -With Mesfido’s help Rex expelled the demon from his body. -During the fight that followed, Mesfido was possessed by Scion. -Scion’s possession of the fallen angel awakened the powers of the Crimson Blood and also imprinted some of the demon’s control over fire into Mesfido’s body. -Finally, after tracking down the demon, Rex and Mesfido defeated him. -Feeling stronger, Mesfido returned to the Dome, ready to face his training once more. Re: Character List
Name: Naomi (Goes by Kitsune in some places)
Age: 16 Gender: Female Race: Sorta Fox-Girlish (see bio/apperance) Height: 5' 7" Weight: Dunno. Apperance: Personality: Really nice, spunky, and always looks on the positive side of things. She doesn't like to fight, but if provoked, she will give it her all. Naomi has a fierce temper in combat, and constantly tries to talk her opponent into giving up with derogatory statements. Also, she's politically correct all the time. If you say "I see I need to pee." she'll correct you, saying "No, you feel the need to pee." She also has a not unfounded paranoia of crowded places, seeing as she was always abused and an outcast, though not overly prominent. Weapons: A red guantlet with two curved steel blades. The guantlet fits over her hand like her gloves do, leaving her fingers exposed. The metal prongs are scimitar-shaped, with the sharp edge on the inside of the blade. Naomi can be quoted on her choice of the unusual weapon: Quote:
Strengths: She's pretty agile. Constant running and hiding from the authorities (and angry peasants) has lead to her having above-normal hearing and reflexes. Weaknesses: She really hates crowds. As in, you get her in a crowd, she might start to panic. But more on the combat issue: She's fairly weak, and relies on speed to do damage, which doesn't always work on heavily armored foes. Bio (As told by Naomi): "Well, I guess it all started way way back, when I was a kid. I lived in this little alley between two homes in the middle of downtown Galesburg. They really didn't notice me, because at most they would yell out the window 'Oi! Stupid cats...' I lived there, living off of scraps, until some police officers came by and arrested me. I was about ten when that happened. They tried to take me away, but I got away. I don't really know how, but I guess I must have fought them off somehow. Anyway, some random townspeople started chasing me aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall around town. It was kind of fun, really. Anyway, they never caught up with me. I ran off into the woods, and hid there for a year or two. Later on, I became a wanderer. I traveled from town to town, looting the rich people for my own benifit. Of course, I gave a lot of it to the poor. One distinct homeless family I remember in particular. It was a japanese family, consisting of a little girl and her mother. Apparently, the father was out looking for scraps. Anyway, I really felt bad for them, so I gave the night's haul to them. Although they didn't speak English, I think one word really stuck out to me. The little girl didn't talk at all, but when I was about to leave, she said "Kitsune." I really like that word. Since then, I've still been wandering around. I guess it's here that I found a place to call home, there are a lot of stranger people around. Plus, I just like the title, 'Battle Arena...'" |

... Name: Tantin (no last name he wasn’t assigned one) Age: 27 Race: Human Sex: Male Hair: Short messy white hair, that seems to be tinted silver. Eyes: One blue one yellow Weight: 137 lb Height: 5’8 Theme Music: I Stand Alone-Godsmack Weapon: Tantin weilds two short sword, the longer one (at about two feet long) goes by the name Volo. it is a curved single edged blade, designed specificly for the task of decapitating. The other, by the name of Volatus, is about a foot, and a half long. Its has serrated edges on both sides, and a sharpened point. Armor: None Strengths: He has insane speed, and agilty, to the point that at his fastest he is nearly invisible to the human eye. He is a highly trained warrior, who stops at nothing to defeat his enimes, as quickly, and efficently as possible. He can spot flaws in his enemies fighting form, that they themselfs didn't even pick up, untill its too late. Weakness: He is easily overpowered in a match of strength. Also he has a tendency to be thinking to much about his attack, without taking into account that fact they may attack as well, leaving him open to counter attacks. Also he has no long range attacks, so that could be considered a weakness. Skills/Magic: tardus vicis: Moves at a speed so fast that everyone around him appears to be moving in slow motion. He can only use this for thrity seconds at a time due to the extreme toll it takes on his body. Pause: He stops time for a few second, allowing him to gather information on what to do next in an intense battle. Chronus Aperio: Reverses time for two seconds (Can only be used six times a day). Appearance: While his skin is suppsoed to be a tanned white, it is riddled with black scars that cover up almost half his body. He wears a tann tunic with one arm ripped off. He wears black cloth pants with a red spiked pattern going up the left leg. His boots are made of leather and a well-worn in. the right side of his face has black burn scars going up it in a weird pattern. His eyes look like eyes that have seen much happiness but if you look deeper they are hollow and almost empty. Personality: In battle he has no emotions. He is focused, and deadly, atacking full force without any regard for his opponent, or himself. It was how he was trained, its all he knows, to fight without emotion, without sympathy, is the way of the warrior. out of battle is completely different, having been trained as a war machine, he has next to no social skills. he speaks bluntly, and without empathy. He fails to see the meaning behind metaphors, and sarcasm. He has emotions, but he is hopeless on how to use them. And though his intentions are good, he often goes about them the wrong way, because to him then ends justify the means. Biography: “Do you have the money?” “Yes” “Then he is yours” These are the first words Tantin ever heard. This is odd because he was only three at the time. He was born in the year 3045 but his new owners where born over 3000 years earlier. You see the men who Tantin was owned by where from the past. The men after years of searching found the palace of time and where able to control it. There plan was to use technology from the future to train warriors to take over the past changing the course of history. Using a mix of holograms and machines they trained men to be machines of war against there own will if they had to. After the infants where recruited they where put through a series of test to see what class of training they where to be in. The classes where power, speed, thought Tantin was chosen to be put in the speed class. The rest of his life was a blur of pain and hardship. If he failed a training course he was put into the fire room, if he tripped he was beaten, if he talked when he wasn’t supposed to he was sliced with a sword, If he even blinked without permission he was beat. Here he was trained to be a warrior. Five hundred infants where put into the center. Only three hundred and fifty men came out. Some of those men where out into the elite class and where taught the ways of time magic. Out of the twenty who where taught the ways of time magic only five where able to utilize it. Tantin was one of them. One week before they traveled back in time they where told there mission. Tantin was appalled all he could think was “All the pain and suffering they put us through only to out others through the same pain. Dose the chain stop when will the pain stop coming when will people be able to live without suffering what I have suffered. It isn’t fair just because I have suffered dose that mean everyone I meet much also feel the same pain.” He decided to escape that night and try to stop what was happing in the past. After easily getting threw the motion-censored traps designed to keep him in line he almost made it to the portal to the past when he saw him the man in charge there. Tantin approached the man known as sinit and drew the sword given to him. He charged at sinit but he was know match sinit defeated him effortlessly but before he could kill Tantin, Tantin used the time magic to slow time down enough to escape and reach the portal. He was teleported to the middle of the desert where he began his journey to keep the past and therefore saving the future. Soon he was met by an intangible soul, who called himself the master of time. he sent him on two disticive journey's both to teach him something very important. The first was a battle against a man called Soledad, it was used to teach him to not let his emotions get the best of him. the second was far more important, it was orignaly supposed to teach him not to underestimate people, but it turned into something else entierly. He fought a young girl, with cat like features, and ubknownst to him, his heart swayed at her sight. After intense battling the two where joined in a kiss, but it was not to be. Tantin had to leave, and the girl had to stay. He will always remember her, and he hopes to see her again. Then came a dark time for him, not two weeks later he was brutally assulted by a hord of golden haired warriors, and their queen Anastacia. She infected the man, and turned him into her slave. However whilst on a scouting mission Tantin came across a strange man. What happened was foggy, but when he awoke he had his senses back. He was ordered via a note to Tell a man named Tsuukai Ita about Stacia, which of course he did. He then setted out on his journey to stop any and all evil forces, so no one would have to endure pain anymore. Re: Character List
Approved by Drewey
Name: Nicoli Carak Age: 25 Race: Human and Elf mix Sex: Male Hair: An assortment of pitch-black and gray Eyes: Dark brown Weight: 160 Height: 5 ft. 11 in. Weapons: One thin, but sturdy, short sword and a ‘very unique’ weapon. The latter is one steel bar, about a yard long, with a wound leather grip attached in the middle. On either end, there is a bade very similar to that of a scythe with gently curved edges. Concerning an individual example of the blade, the left side curves the most, but not quite as much as its farm implement cousin; whereas its right side barely curves at all in comparison to the near ninety-degree angle of a scythe. Both of these attributes form a blade similar to a scythe-ax hybrid; having the range and toned down angular features of the first, while having the considerable mass and inertia of the latter. The steel of the entire piece is very smooth and reflective, especially the blades, which act as a rough mirror. If Nicoli uses his specialized abilities (see ‘skills/magic’) while holding this weapon, which he affectionately calls ‘The Windmill’, a pattern containing two interweaving spirals appears on each of the blades. It is a strategy and technique oriented weapon. If you are untrained and attempt to use it, you are apt to cut off your own head in an effort to twirl it about your body. However, if you are trained well in its use, it is very effective in warring and even more so in one-on-one battles. Armor: A pair of steel plated leather gauntlets and similarly made steel forearm braces, both made to withstand and absorb with a power equivalent to that of a shield, as to rid of the need for one, since shields take up too much room on his back for Nicoli’s taste. The symbol that appears on ‘Windmill’ is etched onto both pieces. They also have a defensive/offensive strategic purpose, as does every other piece of equipment he dons. Strengths: Nicoli is a primarily analytical fighter, essentially exerting nearly all of his mental strength into observing and reacting to his opponent(s) movements. In his mind, during a battle, it is as if nothing except for a rough semicircle around himself, his opponent(s), and the general area in which they are fighting exists. Everything else is silent, nondescript, blackness. Because of this, all of his senses heighten concerning anything within that perimeter. His reaction time is also beyond what is capable for a human, not only because of his mental strength, but because he is part elf. Weakness: Because of the above ability, he is nearly incapable of detecting anything that is happening outside of that circle. The exact opposite of his strength is true; none of his senses will detect anything, no matter how strong, if it is outside of the circle. Albeit, the circle can expand or contract depending on his mental state. (If he loses concentration, the circle expands; if he gains concentration, the circle contracts) It's, in a way, ironic. If he loses concentration, he'll be able to sense more of his surroundings, but his reaction time directly against his opponent will fall. If he gains concentration, he'll react more quickly to his opponent, but his ability to react to his surroundings will decrease. You might, with a certain amount of preplanning, be able to fake a movement. For example, if you make a large movement, and then a smaller movement, Nicoli will probably focus primarily on the smaller movement, thinking that you are trying to conceal you intentions. Take this as you will. Also, because of all the weight he carries on a regular basis, Nicoli cannot quickly change his physical position in a battle. Skills/Magic: Excluding the above, Nicoli’s one “magical” ability is that he can slightly expand the physical characteristics and abilities of the weapon he is using, or anything else for that matter. For example: Nicoli is attacking you with his Windmill and you are a foot away from the blade. He suddenly lunges at you and spins his weapon with increasing ferocity. He barely misses your jugular, over rotating and off target by about six inches, much to your relief. But when you put your hand to you neck, there is a deep gash, spilling out crimson. Essentially, he can place/extend an object or himself to a limit of a few feet without the thing being effected changing appearance. If he uses more energy, he can extend the range of this, but the effect becomes weaker. This is the primary ability of Nicoli’s second classification; he is a Wielder. “A wielder of what?” you ask. Well, anything that he can hold in his hands. The blades of the Windmill also act as shields to magic. Personality: Nicoli is very sarcastic, almost to a point where you have to know what he used to be like and/or know his life story to put up with it. He barely trusts anyone with important matters, with the exception of the people with which he has shared his story. (Those being his beloved fiancé, Eliza, his commander, Donik, and his fellow comrade in arms, Kloog [a polar bear]) In their presence, especially Eliza, he is much more laid back, and has been know to crack a joke or pull out a tin whistle at the dinner table. His normal personality isn’t reserved, but he only speaks when necessary, taking his time to say something meaningful. He is very duty oriented. If you give him an acceptable reason for carrying something out, he will do that with every fiber in his being. Though, of course, the definition of the word ‘acceptable’ is up to himself. Nicoli also has a very soft spot in his heart for anyone who is oppressed, especially children, as he was in a situation similar to theirs as a child. (and is still, in a way) The personality that he dons as a front while on the road is a very gruff, darkened, stubborn, unsympathetic (with a few exceptions) demeanor; made to ward off anyone who may interfere with the task at hand. Appearance: Nicoli wears a long black cloak, covering most of his body, which gives him a very dark and menacing appearance. He makes a point of taking it off in the presence of Eliza, as his dark personality is, in part, a front. (The cloak being a part of that front) He has many scars from the various battles and missions that he has been assigned to, one of the reasons why he wears the cloak. He has brown eyes and his hair is a mixture of unkempt black and gray strands. It normally lays a few inches above the neck, and on days that it is a tad too long, he ties it in a short ponytail with a string. He usually keeps his short sword at his left side. The scabbard is black, to blend in with the cloak, and the crest on the pommel is the same as the symbol that appears on the Windmill. He has two leather sheathes tied to either end of his cloak; the top one being easily removed for easy access to the weapon. It hangs at an angle, so that Nicoli can reach the leather grip. Nicoli will always wear his armor on the road, but he doesn’t at any other time. Underneath the cloak, he wears a light wool shirt and pants, which is his normal casual attire. History: Nicoli was born to Nick, a half elf, and Mary Carak, a human, two former mercenaries. He also had a little brother named Stephen. His family owned and operated a farm in the far northern end of Dunbar, which seemed to only pull in enough profit for them to live on the next year. Yet, his parents never tried any harder to improve their farm’s turnout. This always puzzled Nicoli, not knowing that his parents built the farm as a place to settle down and retire from a long and successful carrier in an expansive organized mercenary group. As a child, Nicoli was taught the basics of swordplay by his father. When he got older, they moved on to more difficult aspects of the art to improve his reaction time and strength. Nicoli excelled in this, waiting in brimming expectation for each new lesson. When he turned nine, he was sent to a smith in the Northern Mercenary Territory a few hundred miles south to learn a trade other then farming, since he showed no interest in it. Once he reached there, he was greeted with disapproval. Nicoli was the youngest apprentice in the history of the smith, among the typical thirteen to eighteen crowd. He was teased and made fun of by his fellow workers, that is until the annual swordplay tournament. Entering, and winning the tournament; he gained the much needed respect he deserved. After he was given a short sword by his master and newfound mentor, Chris, he returned to his home to find disaster. The cabin he was born and raised in was torn into with gigantic claw marks, the unmistakable work of the Eastern Cavaldun Bears, also known as the Rebel Bears; who had made it their mission to rid the world of the growing menace known only as, “The Wielders”, who were said to be able to rip the fabric of space and time apart. The Bears were known to make brutal, unprovoked, attacks on the homes and businesses of those who they believed were Wielders. The destruction of Nicoli’s home was one of these such attacks. Eventually, he was found by his grandfather’s former student, Donik, a mercenary leader. Seeing that Nicoli was understandably traumatized, he sent an urgent message to the Mercenary Chancellor, writing him that, “There is only one Carak descendant left.” Sending off the message to the mercenary's capital, he took Nicoli to the Chancellor himself. Once he got there, Nicoli was taken into the Chancellor’s care and given the proper treatment; from that point onward, Nicoli would have almost any resource he wanted. Before he left, Donik gave an odd looking weapon to the Chancellor, saying that Nicoli should be taught how to use it when he came of age. Nicoli met a beautiful freckled red haired girl named Eliza, the Chancellor’s only child, in the palace. She was very careful not to upset Nicoli, knowing what horrible things had happened to him, but was trying to restrain her joy that she finally had another child to play with. Nicoli found someone in Eliza who would listen to him and actually understand. He confided in her all of the things that happened to him, and all of the things before. They became fast friends and had a grand time in the palace. Even so, he always bore a scar on his mind from these events. The traumatic experience leaving much of his innocence and childhood in the dust. For a long time after that, life was sheer bliss. He was living the life of a prince. The Chancellor treated him like a son, and Nicoli began to view all of the staff and, especially, Eliza, as his extended family. Nicoli and Eliza were both aspiring talents with the sword. They trained together and sparred daily, mostly in draws. His affection for her grew every day as he began to mature. Once he turned 16, Donik returned and told Nicoli of the weapon that he was going to learn how to use. For the next year or so, Donik trained Nicoli in the use of what Nicoli later dubbed, The Windmill. Also during that time frame, Donik told Nicoli of what he discovered happened to his parents and brother after they were attacked. The three, he said, were taken into the Eastern Bear’s territory, killed in a most bloody fashion, and then sealed away in an unknown corner of their fortress. Henceforth, Nicoli began training with an indefinable ferocity. Once Nicoli mastered the complicated use of the Windmill, Donik began teaching him how to concentrate his thoughts on demand in situations other than battles, if necessary. After a few years of this, both Nicoli and Eliza became full-fledged mercenaries; Nicoli going under Donik’s command, and Eliza under a special operations unit. Since then, Nicoli’s regiment has been called up on numerous missions, giving him many months of experience under widely varied conditions. Through this, he met Kloog, a defector from the Eastern Cavaldun Bears. During a brief hiatus, Nicoli returned to the palace with the intention of proposing to Eliza. She said yes, and once they reach retiring age, he said they’ll settle down somewhere around the warmer plains of Western Dunbar. From then on, Nicoli has fought in Donik’s regiment as a heralded mercenary; stationed in an outpost in the small snowy Western Cavaldun trading town of Waeo.

Name: Winston Alexander
Age: 43 Race: human Sex: Man, and a whole lot of it. Hair: His hair is brown, short, and messy, but it can’t be seen since he always wears a cap sporting the words "Einstein’s Toiletries" in big black letters. Eyes: His eyes are hazel, but are covered by his thick glasses. Weight: 160 pounds Height: 5' 10" Weapon: A full bottle of Windex glass cleaner. It burns the victim’s eyes, thus making it unable for them to see for a short amount of time, though the burning lasts a while. The Windex bottle never runs out of Windex. The thanks goes to Dr. Vallent, whom was Winston’s uncle. He also has a mop. A plain, old, brown mop. One day, while Winston was busy doing his daily chore of mowing the lawn, he stubbled upon this bottle, laying in a heap of dead grass. Turns out Dr. Vallent had mixed the Windex with a sort of chemical, causing it to produce the amount that was excreted. This way, it never runs out. But little does his uncle know he took it. Strengths: Years of mowing, dusting, plumbing, washing, and massaging made him quite flexible. He can weave himself out of a sticky situation just by ducking or by running and screaming, his trademark. If you ever happen to meet this guy in the grocery store and you happen to be eyeing the same ham as he is, you’d better grab the nearest turkey leg and prepare for a battle. You can thank his skills that he picked up while grocery shopping for his uncle. You don’t want to come home empty handed when you have Dr. Vallent for an uncle. He is an excellent melee fighter as long as he has some kind of household appliance, or an object used for cleaning. (i.e. brooms, blenders, microwaves) Weakness: Well his weakness would be he is germ-a-phobic. In any hand-to-hand duel he would freak out and roll himself into a ball. Hand-to-hand would make it way too easy to catch some kind of disease carrying germ. The closer you are the higher the risk of infection. Needless to say he would basically lose the fight if he had to actually hand-to-hand duel his opponent. Unless his opponent is a robot. They are so shiny and metallic. No way they could carry any germs. Also, he is at a disadvantage in any outdoor fight. He is afraid of insects, grass, his neighbor lady’s mustache, and, of course, germs. He never leaves the house without his GERM-OUT-A-SUIT. While the suit protects him from germs, he is still weak against hand-to-hand combat and is less flexible. A ninety pound suit does that to a person. Appearance: He is five foot ten and 160 pounds. You can recognize him by his thick, black glasses and his bleach white hat with the name “Einstein’s Toiletries” written on it in black letters. He wears a belt, which he calls his “CleanMe Belt Mark 2.” Equipped on the belt are normal everyday items. Such as dental floss, toothpaste, a car jack, hairbrush, extra undies, and even a map of the Western Hemisphere. But, those serve no significance in a fight; merely stylish. His Windex bottle is holstered on the side of his belt, ready for action. He wears a t-shirt with the words “Talk Nerdy to Me” in Japanese on the front. He can’t speak Japanese and thinks the words mean “Anyone for Tennis?” That is why you should never go to Mexico. And yes, I meant Mexico. His mop is sheathed in a extra large Pringle’s container on his back. He wears your everyday jeans. Though his have bleach stains everywhere on it. And to top it all off, he is wearing worn out construction boots, Diehards to be exact. Only conformists wear Timberlands. O_o Personality: Well, like I said earlier, he is germ-a-phobic. In battle he is always afraid of making physical contact with the opponent, and tries to avoid fighting at all costs. But, once he gets hit, his alter ego takes over. He becomes a fierce competitor with an undying desire to win. His alter ego’s name is Antonio, and would prefer if he was referred to as that for the remainder of the battle. Or at least until Winston takes over again, which can happen at any moment in time. Biography: Winston P. Smith was born in Terrioki, Operia; one of the filthiest places to live. The “P.” in Winston P. Smith stands for Jacob. He was raised by his uncle, Dr. Vallent. He was a test tube baby, and as a result, has no belly button. Poor guy. The question “Why was he a test tube baby?” can be summed up in one word: “Coconuts.” You see, his father worked at a pina colata stand in New York City. But, he never had any coconut. He wasn’t even sure if there was coconut in pina colatas. One thing he was sure of was that he wanted to have a son by means of a test tube. So, he gave a tall Chinese woman, he found standing over a hot dog stand, a pina colata. After she had enough, he asked her if she could donate an egg for him. She happily obliged. Then, after Winston’s father had put his men into the cup, he was smacked in the head with a frying pan and died, courtesy of Lucy from I Love Lucy. Apparently she was filming a commercial for Pam, the spray you put on your pans, and she was accidently shoved by a man named Dr. Vallent. He felt bad and took in Winston as his nephew. Winston was an only child. He never had a single friend, since he was always too busy cleaning his uncle’s lab. He had a pet rat once, for about a minute or so. The rat died from ingestion of bleach. Winston confessed to the murder two months later after hearing the sound of a squeaking rat coming from his attic. Winston knows nothing of religion. In fact, Winston knows nothing about anything, except cleaning of course. Winston is on his way to the laundry mat. Though on the way he keeps getting into various duels with strange people. He blames it on his no good dirty rotten pig stealing uncle, of whom he loves with all his heart. Winston loves to clean. Winston hates everything else, except his uncle. Duh. Winston’s goal is to make it to the laundry mat and still have enough time to go down to Starbucks and buy himself a double chocolate cookie. His favorite. Winston does not know what death is. If he was asked what it was he would respond in the following way: “Yes, it is the salesman whom uncle buried in the backyard underneath Oprah...right?” Einstein's Toiletries is the name of a famous cleaning crew that cleans all the important monuments of the world. Right now they are cleaning out the inside of Lady Liberty's ears. You think her outside is green, wait until you see the inside. Ugh.

Re: Character List
Name: Cassidy Vesta Driscol
Nickname: Cass Race: Human Age: 32 Birth date: Beltane Sex: Female Hair: Cass’ hair is a rich black color, and reaches down to a bit past her shoulders. On top of her hair, she almost always wears a red witch’s hat that has a black loop above the base, and is bent in a crooked way at the top. Eyes: Deep Hazel Weight: 134 pounds Height: 5’7” Weapon: A small gnarled staff which is about as long as her arm. It is carved in a spiral pattern, getting thinner as it goes down. The head of it is carved in the shape of a dragon, and is wrapped around a small green orb. The staff is made of a rare wood that has been carved out of the petrify tree. The tree is found in the Fortrylle Wood, surrounding the small village of Eventyr. The reason why it is so hard to obtain is because, the moment the tree becomes mature enough to use as a magical wood it almost immediately petrifies itself. Therefore, the wood must be cut from the tree within that minute time frame. This wood boosts Cass’ magic power and spell strength. The green orb is slightly see-through, and has no power except that of putting the un-petrified wood at ease. Cass also has a fairly thick spell book that she will read sometimes. This allows her to learn new spells, and if she is not in a result, she will consult it. Companions: Mushu the baby dragon is the basic shape of a one. I won’t spoil how she met Mushu—this will be described in a fiction. However, Mushu has a real talent for pick-locking and discovering supposedly ‘secret’ information. He is small enough to sit on Cass’s shoulder, with each wing about the size of her face. His head is slightly bigger than her flat hand (including fingers). He is about ten years old, but still a baby in dragon terms of his kind, for they live for a thousand years. Mushu’s skin is usually a thick reddish-brown, but it changes with his mood. When he is ‘under the weather’ his scales will appear gray, happy will appear brighter red, calm or serene will appear blue, excited will appear an orangey-yellow, mad will appear blackish, irritated will appear dark purple, and some others may be described later. Mixtures indicate both moods. Skills/Abilities: Potion Making and Herbalism Cass tends to be extremely skilled at this. She claims that her nose can ‘smell’ herbs, even from far away, and her mind just has a sense of knowing how much of what to put in. For this activity, she requires a few sticks, stones, a handmade clay bowl (handmade or nature-created always boosts magical power), mortar and pestle, herbal water (water with sprinkles of plant leaves), and any of the herbs and extras listed. Here are two of her most often made potions, though she has many more memorized. Name: Healing Potion Uses: This healing potion will heal skin and muscle wounds such as gashes. It cannot repair broken bones. Each vial has about three servings in it. Items Needed: Sticks, stones, handmade clay bowl, three stacks of kingsblood, one vial, herbal water, mortar and pestle Directions: Spread the sticks in a circle, stones on the outside. Place the clay bowl in the middle. Pour some herbal water up to the brim. Light the sticks on fire, and leave till boiling. Grind the kingsblood in a mortar and pestle, and sprinkle in until a sparkling green color. Let cool for two minutes, pour into vial, and let sit for half of an hour. Drink the vial. Name: Sleeping Potion Uses: This sleeping potion will let you work while catching up on rest. Your mind is getting the sleep it needs, yet you are awake and able to function. Each vial has about two servings in it. Items Needed: Sticks, stones, handmade clay bowl, two stacks of passionflower, one vial, herbal water, mortar and pestle Directions: Spread the sticks in a circle, stones on the outside. Place the clay bowl in the middle. Pour some herbal water up to the brim. Light the sticks on fire, and leave till boiling. Grind the passionflower in a mortar and pestle, and sprinkle in until a deep purple color. Let cool for four minutes, pour into vial, and let sit for forty-five minutes. Drink the vial. She does not appear to have her bag filled with all the supplies she needs plus many herbs. However, with the use of a tiny bit of magic, she can instantly summon it or send it away. Magics Having studied at one of the top schools in the world, Cass knows relatively every type of magic. Her favorite to use is fire. Manipulate Elements – Cass has learned how to control and manipulate many of the elements. This does not include creating them, however. She is able to manipulate fire, water, ice, earth, rock, metal, thunder, and air. The larger the quantity, the more power needed. Deviate Fire – Fire being Cass’ strongest element, she has mastered being able to create fire out of thin air. The larger the quantity created the larger amount of power needed. White Fire – This is easily Cass’ strongest ability. The fire encases her, and can blind you if you look at it directly for more than five seconds. It can burn you from four feet away, and gives Cass a boost of energy until she runs out of it. This takes up about half of her power when she is at full. Other Abilities Speech – This ability is born with very few people, allowing them to speak and understand any language spoken. This includes any language by things like dragons, gryphons, animals, and languages other than her core one. Mythical Creatures – She has a knack for mythical creatures, and can communicate with them mind to mind, as it is her area of magical study. Many, if she asks, will do her bidding. Strengths: Cass tends to do better at long ranged combat as well as humid and hot places. She has quite a bit of magic in her, and it can last for a long time. She is also extremely brave and almost never gives up on a challenge. On top of that, Mushu can be very helpful. Weaknesses: Cass is terrible at close range combat, as well as physical combat. Her body is more used to sustaining magical attacks, not physical, so will take great damage under a physical attack. She tends to slow down her reaction time in cold places. Appearance: Cassidy and Mushu ![]() Personality: Cassidy Cass is one of those sassy women who you’re not supposed to mess with. She has a problem of thinking mostly about herself. For her close friends, however, there are major exceptions. She thinks too much about them, worrying and fretting every second. She is also a very studious person, determined to pass with flying colors from the School. In battle, she can be extremely brave and never gives up, especially when it comes to fighting for loved ones. She also talks a lot, which happens to annoy a lot of people. Mushu Mushu is your average little baby dragon. He’s cute, he’s cuddly (almost), and he’s playful. He and Cass have an extreme bond, and are practically inseparable. He takes after Cass and can be quite arrogant sometimes, but never ceases to worry about Cass. If she asks him to do something, he always does—basically, he follows all her orders and is the prefect and most loveable companion Cass could ask for. Biography: Born in the market and port village of Oakenin, by the Fortrylle Wood, Cassidy was definitely the most energetic child in her family. She was conceived to Fiona Driscol, her mother, and Denali Driscol, her father. At the time she was born, she already had a brother, who was three, named Diarmuid. When she was just three months old, Diarmuid would play with her all day long, and the two quickly bonded. They were inseparable. Two years later, Cassidy and Diarmuid’s mother was pregnant again. The two were bouncing off the walls, eager to see if it was a boy or a girl. Cassidy hoped for a girl, and Diarmuid hoped for a boy. Cass was in luck, because nine months later, little Jada was born. Diarmuid was five now, and was sent off to a school of magic, much to his dismay. He was reluctant to leave Cass. The years passed by quickly for them, as Cass once again began to bond with siblings—this time with Jada. Her parents, still at a high point in their relationship, decided to have yet another little one. They were content with Diarmuid, Cassidy, and Jada, but they couldn’t help wanting to take care of another. This time, Diarmuid’s wish was granted, and Kieran, a little boy, was born. Cassidy, now five at the time of Kieran’s birth, was now sent off to magic school with Diarmuid, now eight. At first Cass learned about all the different types of magic, mythical creatures, and geography. For the first two years of school, the First Year and Second Year students were to discover which area it was that interested them, and be separated into different groups depending on preference in Third Year. Diarmuid had taken a liking to Dark Defense, and was now studying all types of spells, herbs, and techniques to defend anyone and anything against the Dark. He took this very seriously, and became somewhat reserved, ignoring everyone. Cassidy, however, began to take a liking to the study of magical creatures. She was placed into this course after second year, learning much about the different mythical creatures, other races, ways to feed the creatures (including extensive herbology) and a mastery of elemental magic for dealing with the creatures. She was just about the best student in her class. At five, Jada was sent off next. Cass was seven, and Diarmuid was ten. Jada took a certain liking to alchemy and herbology, as the loved the outside. She had already begged her mother, Fiona, to plant a garden when she was the mere age of four. Her mother had already taught her some simple and harmless tricks, and Jada already showed much skill. Next it was Kieran’s turn. Jada was eight, Cass was ten, and Diarmuid was thirteen. Kieran took a certain liking to the history of magic, as well as the many language that lay un-deciphered, and the many artifacts that remained hidden. He was taught deeply of the magical lore and language, and studied all different types as well as how to find traces of it. Each of the Driscol children took their work very seriously, and studied hard for their graduation in Twelfth Year. Diarmuid was now seventeen, and very handsome. He had chocolaty brown hair, which was cut to a medium length. It lay choppy and was slightly curly, sometimes hanging in front of his face. His eyes were a jade and turquoise color, mixed. He placed second in his class. Afterwards, he left for the best university for Dark Defense the land could offer—Winderkin University. When Cassidy graduated, she had long and sleek black hair, down slightly below her shoulders. Her hazel eyes were striking, and transfixed almost every man. She graduated top of her class, very serious about her studies. This achievement immediately placed her into the top Magical Creatures school in the lands—Arrowtor University. Next to come was Jada. She looked a bit more like Diarmuid than Cassidy did, with chocolate brown hair, slightly wavy, and down to her mid back, complete with crystal blue eyes. She was scrawny and pale-skinned, despite her being outside all the time to tend to her plants. She had an immense love for her area of study, and came first in her class, also, going straight to the best herbology school—Ostachel University. And finally came Kieran, seventeen and graduating, with Jada now twenty, Cassidy twenty-two, and Diarmuid twenty-five. He had pure black hair, much like Diarmuid’s, but not wavy. He had lovely emerald eyes, which caught almost every girl’s attention. And though he loved his subject like his other siblings, he was exceptionally lazy, causing him only to place ninth in the class. Nevertheless, he squeezed himself into the second best university of history study, Blacken University. Cassidy advanced through Arrowtor with flying colors. After her third year there, she was sent off to a dragon reservation beyond the Fortrylle Wood, embedded in the mountain side, called Winded Peak. There were at least one-hundred dragons there of all types, all abilities, and all ages. Cass was first instructed to take care of the baby dragons, to which she had a close bondage. After four years of this, not only baby dragons, Arrowtor had her sent off to a gryphon reservation to help in the study of gryphons, to learn everything about them, as they were fairly unknown. She stayed at the gryphon reservation for another four years, when she was sent off to tour other places to learn more about the other minor species. Before being called back to the University, she decided to get herself a decent magical staff. Having read about the Petrify tree, she left for Eventyr, a village around the Fortrylle Wood, and got her staff created. (See weapon description) Soon after, she was called back for one more year of intensive studies before she would receive the highest degree of Magical Creature study, therefore free to go and do whatever she wish. She finished the year quickly, and passed the final exam with a perfect score, now twenty-nine years of age. Meanwhile, Diarmuid was quickly rising to be a well known Master of Dark Defense, having accomplished many tasks. Jada’s potions were the best around, and Kieran still continued to study. Most in his class had already finished university—despite him being lazy, he made up for it and now spent all his time studying, determined to find an artifact that was lost in the sands of time so long ago. The rest of Cassidy’s bio will be explained through fictions, as well as when she got Mushu.

Re: Character List
Name: Nekome Nagisa (Neko for short)
Age: 21 Race: Cat-Girl Sex: Female Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Weight: 130 lbs. Height: 5ft. 11in. Weapon: Kiseru (Pipe) and Claws Armor: None Theme Song: Billie Jean Strengths: She’s very lithe. As in, she can move quickly, quietly, and with grace. Without much effort, she can move silently through the shadows. Naturally, this would make her primary strength the ability to sneak around. That talent for sneaking combined with her Ninjutsu make her a dangerous opponent. With her ability, she’s regarded as an excellent Ninja, and takes the rank of Chunin, the middle Ninja. As most Kunoichi are, she’s very charming. Her ability to smooth talk is quite high, even for her Ninja rank. Altogether, Neko’s an impressive Kunoichi on and off the battle field. Supplementing her learned skills, she has natural cat-like qualities, such as good hearing, heightened reflexes, and enhanced senses. Weakness: Despite being such a smooth talker, her big weakness is that she can be smooth talked by anyone. She tends to believe what anyone tells her, unless it’s a blatantly obvious lie. Her next character flaw is that she has a very short build to anger. As many cats do, she doesn’t like large bodies of water. Whenever Life Force is consumed, her movements are hampered for a short period after the Jutsu wears off, as her body compensates for the loss. Nothing major, but her top movement and reaction speeds are noticeably cut down. While the Nekokotsu slows her down for a few seconds, the Rifudou slows her down for a few minutes. Skills/Magic 1: Ninjutsu is a martial art used by Ninjas that consists of eighteen different skills. Additionally, a Ninja can focus Life Force Energy into these skills to perform speciality techniques called Jutsu. 18 Ninja Juhakkei: Seishin-teki Kyoyo (Spiritual Refinement): Though her spirit is elevated above that of an average Chunin, she remains unrefined. Speciality Jutsu: Rifudou, a healing technique. Effective short of a severed limb. Consumes one fourth of her usable Life Force Energy. Taijutsu (Unarmed Combat): Though she is very skilled in this field, her Bojutsu skills tend to be a little better. Speciality Jutsu: Nekokotsu Jutsu, a basic supplementary technique. Increases speed, flexibility, and reaction time. Consumes one 128th of her usable Life Force Energy. Kyudo (Bow Combat): If she owned a bow, or carried one around with her, she would still not use it due to a severe lack of skill. Speciality Jutsu: None. Ninja Ken (Sword Combat): Though her skill with a Shinobigatana is above that of an average user, it remains a subordinate talent. Speciality Jutsu: None. Bojutsu (Staff and Stick Combat): Of the 18 skills, she is most proficient in this field, even though her primary weapon is shorter than a normal stick or staff. Speciality Jutsu: None. Shurikenjutsu (Blade Throwing): Much like her Ninja Ken skills, she knows how to do it, but it remains a lesser talent. Speciality Jutsu: None. Sojutsu (Spear Combat): Though this skill is similar to Naginatajutsu and Bojutsu, normal spears are too long for her to use well. Speciality Jutsu: None. Naginatajutsu (Naginata Combat): Though she does not actively use this skill, she does switch to Naginatajutsu whenever she uses some of her heat based Jutsu. Speciality Jutsu: Enkoukiseru Jutsu, a utility and offensive technique. Ignites the end of her Kiseru, releasing a great deal of heat on contact with a solid object. Consumes one 32nd of her usable Life Force Energy. Kiritori Enkoukiseru Jutsu, a utility and offensive technique. Envelopes the end of her Kiseru in heat, allowing her to cut by using the heat to melt objects. Consumes one 24th of her usable Life Force Energy. Kusarigamajutsu (Chain Weapon Combat): Much like her Shurikenjutsu skills, she knows how to do it, but it remains a lesser talent. Speciality Jutsu: None. Kayakujutsu (Fire and Explosive use): Though she knows enough to put together small bombs, she dislikes taking the time to find the components. Speciality Jutsu: None. Hensojutsu (Disguise and Impersonation): Due to her distinct physical features, she is effectively unable to use Hensojutsu. Speciality Jutsu: None. Shinobi-iri (Stealth and Infiltration): Her basic Ninja training stressed stealth. Resultantly, she excels at this. This is added onto by her dark clothing. Speciality Jutsu: Suichoku Jutsu, a movement technique. Sends a surge of Life Force to her feet, allowing her to latch onto walls. Consumes one 128th of her usable Life Force Energy. Bajutsu (Animal Riding): Being animalistic by nature, she quickly finds balance on any variety of animal she may need to ride. Specialty Jutsu: None. Sui-ren (Water Training): Though she dislikes large bodies of water, she remains a competent swimmer, her physical features giving her more control than ordinary. Specialty Jutsu: None. Boryaku (Military Strategy): Despite her appearance as a simpleton, her tactical knowledge is actually quite wide. Specialty Jutsu: None. Choho (Espionage): Following suite with Boryaku and Shinobi-iri, she works very well as a spy and information gatherer. Specialty Jutsu: None. Intonjutsu (Escaping and Concealment): Her basic Ninja training stressed stealth. Resultantly, she excels at this. This is added onto by her dark clothing. Speciality Jutsu: None. Tenmon (Meteorology): Her heightened senses give her an advantage when predicting the weather. Speciality Jutsu: None. Chi-mon (Geography): Though she travels often, she is seldom in one place long enough to learn the specifics of the landscape. Speciality Jutsu: None. Skills/Magic 2: Chakras are seven points on the body that regulate the flow of Universal Life Force Energy to different bodily functions. The placement of the Chakras on the body go up along the spine, beginning at the very bottom of the pelvis, and ending at the very top of the skull. They are, from the bottom up, Muladhara, the base Chakra, Swadhisthana, the genital Chakra, Manipura, the solar plexus Chakra, Anahata, the lung Chakra, Vishuddha, the throat Chakra, Ajna, the third eye Chakra, and lastly, Sahasrara, the crown Chakra. Each has their own associated number, physical and mental function, color, and element. While the lower Chakras focus on concrete life functions, the higher ones focus on the abstract. Though certain amounts of Life Force Energy flow through all the Chakras of a normal being at all times, the bulk remains trapped in the bottom Chakra. Although, through spiritual refinement, higher Chakras can be fully reached. When a new Chakra is reached, a higher state of being is attained. First Chakra (Four Petals, Red Lotus): Always active, grants no special traits. Second Chakra (Six Petals, Orange Lotus): Active during times of intense physical sensation. When in use, she moves as if permanently affected by the Nekokotsu Jutsu. Additionally, her mind becomes more active, allowing her more creativity with her techniques. A downside is that she becomes more prone to distraction, especially when it comes to sexual desire. Third Chakra (Ten Petals, Yellow Lotus): Able to be willed into activation. When in use, her all around physical condition improves based on her emotional state. During times of extreme determination, she could outrun and outmuscle virtually any human opponent. A downside is that she will sometimes have severe mood swings when using the Third Chakra. Activation of her highest Chakra will immediately activate any below it. Currently, the highest she has attained. Personality: She’s a very up-beat, care free person, despite her grim and violent duty as a Ninja. When going around in public, she gives off a distinct positive energy. She’s fun loving and is quite free in the way she thinks. It doesn’t do much for her obscurity, but her unique physical appearance puts the eighty-six on that right away. Always, she has a zest for life and treats every day like it’s exciting. She’s even commonly known to “party.“ But it’s not like she’s hyperactive or anything, she just has a lot of personality. And even though she’s energetic around people, she’s very calm and drawn back when she’s alone or just with Sukoshi. It comes from a lack of stimuli and her desire to be more mature when it’s just her friend. In battle, she’s very arrogant and taunting. Not to the point where she would be bragging, but to where she would be irritating. Needless to say, it doesn’t take her too long to get really involved in a fight. Appearance: Starting from the top. Her hair is big, long, and black, and it comes down to cover her back. Instead of regular ears, she has fuzzy cat ears. She has a beautiful face that would look perfectly normal if her teeth were less fang like and her eyes were less cat like. Not that her features are completely feline. She merely has slitted pupils and slightly pointed cuspids. She’s very well made, a muscular while still rather thin girl, with the exception of her hands and feet, which are slightly larger than normal. She wears a blue vest and a loose fitting pair of blue pants with a hole cut in them for her tail. Under those, she wears that see-thru material inlaid with nets that you see ninja wearing every so often. She has a black belt tied around her waist, which she normally has her Kiseru tucked under. Her hands, wrists, ankles, and feet are fur covered. She has five fingers and four toes, with a dull, pointed claw/nail at the end of each. And with the exception of her rear, fur covers all of her private areas. History: Konnichiwa. Namae wa Neko da ne. Nani? Jaa, Eego de hanasu. Afternoon. I’ll bet you already know, but my name is Neko. This is your look into the exciting life of me! Oh, but first, let’s get a look at you. My, aren’t you a handsome man. Let me put my fingers on you for a second. Oh, I like that. How about we get out of here, and… On second thought, no way. Just in case you’re actually a woman, I think I’ll stick to the interview. The first thing you’re probably wondering is: “Cat-girl?” Well, that’s simple. My dad was an oversized cat. I know, it’s creepy. Let’s not dwell on that part. Besides, being half cat is one of my best qualities. It’s what gives me my animal good looks. Of course, I’ll bet you could tell just by reading about my appearance. Whoever wrote that, though, is totally off. They didn’t use the word “hot” enough. “Perfectly beautiful if…” I am so getting a new person to do my profiles. What? Oh, but look at me, I’ve gotten sidetracked. Where was I? Right. I was born in a middle class village not too far from the middle of nowhere. I always called it the village hidden in absolutely nothing. Back there, it’s a tradition for every kid to learn Ninjutsu. Hm? Oh, Ninja Techniques. I happen to be the daughter of the head ninja, and resident master, my mother. Has anyone here ever met her? No, trust me, you don’t. All you need to know is that she plays around with cats. Wink. Right. I studied my Ninjutsu under her. That’s how I spent my early years. You know, I wasn’t always as popular as I am now. Oh yeah, as a kid, I got picked on a lot because of how I look. A lot of kids don’t know how to appreciate the finer facets of feline facial features. What… That was really stupid. Who’s writing this crap? As I was saying. I spent most of my time as a kid working to become a great ninja. It wasn’t until I got a little older that I got popular. I had to develop a bit before I got any positive attention. But, as soon as I developed, boy, you should have seen it. The amount of horny guys that followed me around was more disturbing than anything else. At the time, though, I thought it was flattering. Of course, that was before I got into… Huh? Well, what else can’t I say? Oh, go **** yourself. Let’s just say, it was before I got involved in the wide world of pocket monsters. I’ll tell you this. The pussy jokes were relentless, back there. A funny joke can get very annoying very fast if you hear it every day of your life. If I wasn’t bent over, or on my knees, uh, looking for things on the floor, so much, I probably would have killed someone. Even now, if you call me a pussy cat more than once, I swear I will punch you in the face. Oh, and I might as well dispel the rumors right now. This girl is easy. If you’re looking for a fun night out, all you have to do is find me. No losers, please At sixteen, you could see I was turning into the person I am today. It was at that age when I first met Sukoshi. This nameless boy started hanging around my house, one day. The first time I talked to him, we just clicked. Obviously, he’s not of age, but that can’t stop us from talking to each other. He’s very mature for his age, and I don’t think I have to hide anything from him. Since he didn’t have a name, I decided to call him Sukoshi. Hey there, little bit! Oh, this just came back to me. Later that year, my mother taught me how to mix catnip. You ever smoke a blunt? Do Acid? Shrooms? Well, it’s not quite an acid trip, but you get the picture. Just throw a little into the bowl of your pipe, light up, and sit back. Oh, but don’t ask for any. It’ll get me high, but don’t expect it to do the same thing for you. I try to keep a few packets on me all the time. It’s really easy to mix, but not everywhere has the stuff you need. Never know when I’ll need some. Skip ahead a few years, and… No, before that. How about I let you answer the questions, then. Good. As I was saying, I had just turned eighteen. Even though every able bodied man in the village was trying to, um… I hate euphemisms. Help me do some work on the floor? The tedium of village life got pretty boring. So, you know, I went out to see the world. It’s just me and Sukoshi. And I’ve been having fun. I’ve, like, met some cute guys, seen some really interesting places, and other cool stuff. So, the interview’s over? Okay. That was fun; we should do it again some time. See you later, handsome. Completed Battles: A Fuzzy Distraction, Bejeweled: Ijinken and the Wielders of the Sword, Leaving the Sandbox: Black Cats, Black Clothes, and Black Business, _________________________ Name: Kyo (Sukoshi) Age: 37 Race: Cat Sex: Male Fur: Black and brown Eyes: Yellow Weight: 9 lbs. Height: 1 foot Weapon: Claws Armor: None Theme Song: Yamato Bamboo Forest Strengths: He’s small, so he can escape easily. Weakness: He’s a cat. Skills/Magic: Does pretty much anything Neko tells him to do. Personality: He only speaks in soliloquy form because his normal speech is meowing. He’s very stern, with a strong sense of duty. He has a soft spot for Neko, so, even though he’s often critical of her, he finds he can look past most of her quirks. He’s come to terms with being a cat and is happy to act like one. Concurrently, he finds it extremely irritating that Neko talks to him like he’s normal, and gets angry whenever she does it. Appearance: He’s a black cat with a few brown patches. Most notably on his chest and paws. One side of his face is black, while the other is brown. Besides that, there’s a few splashes of brown here and there on his fur. History: Sukoshi, originally known as Kyo, was once a powerful warrior. His signature wooden armor, and power over the elements gave him the nickname, the Earth and Water Samurai. A keeper of the peace, he traveled from region to region, wiping out the troubles that affected the people. But, one day, he went on a mission that he never came back from. He had been turned into a cat by the evil he had went up against. Unfortunately for him, no one knows how to change him back, or that he is even still alive. Because he was a Ronin, he had no home to return to, or family to take care of him. He’s continued to age at the normal rate, and all signs tell he’s doomed to be a cat the rest of his life. He accepted his fate. On an occasion two years after his transformation, he was captured by a woman with multiple eccentricities, and held with many other cats. It was during this time that he learned how to act like a cat. Whom was apparently the woman’s daughter, a half breed named Neko, seemed to tell that he used to be normal, though. She talked to him and treated him like he was in no way feline. Whenever she left the crazy woman‘s home, she would always take him along. Finally, when she left for the last time, he left the crazy woman‘s home forever. So, Sukoshi, as he’s now called, has been traveling with Neko. He is a happier man. Also, now that she is in an alliance, she’s found that friends can be powerful allies, despite her previous thoughts on the subject. She can easily sense opponents and has no trouble discerning if they are a threat. Weakness: Despite her fearful appearance, she quite very annoyed of people who are happy, joyous, or basically normal. The reason being, that she has always been cursed with being alone and never been able to be happy. She has nothing to protect her in battle. Luckily, she can use dark energy as a shield if the need arises. Her companion Zorlo has recently become a weakness for her. Whenever he gets beat up or attempts something and fails, then her normally serious demeanor is shattered and almost makes her cheery. Light magic can deeply harm her since she focuses on darkness and has enveloped herself within it all her life. Skills/Magic: She is powerful at dark magic yet knows next to nothing about white magic. She can control dark energy into force. She uses her staff to control her magic. The dark energy takes the form of a large bat that swoops down upon her enemy. In order to unleash her dark magic, she must feel a strong emotion such as hatred or at times longing. She knows the following attacks: Dark Force: A dark energy that she forms with her staff that can inflict much damage on humans especially. She forms it out of hatred mainly. This often takes the form of a regular bat. The problem is that once she runs out of emotions or is emotionally exhausted she tends to lose control over this move. Dark Cloud: It's a move that, unlike dark force, doesn't damage enemies, but paralyzes them with fear. It also requires for her to use her staff to manipulate darkness. She forms a large cloud of darkness that engulfs her opponent so that they cannot see. The problem is that the clouds are easily blown away and they require a strong sense of corruption, but she is trying to hone her skills in perfecting the move. It’s become easier for her to feel corruption and therefore this move is more of an option. Dark Shadow: It is when Celia creates a massive amount of sadness into a powerful attack that confuses enemies into thinking that they are as lonely and miserable as her. It doesn't work very well with happy and/or cheerful people. Dark Shield:When she is attacked, she normally has no form of defense so she uses her staff to create a dark barrier around herself. The barrier is weak against a rapid repeating attack and light magic. Celia requires a sense of protection to activate this move. Terror Blast: When she is fearful of something, or she senses fear within her opponent, she uses that fear to create a purple arrow that flies through the air to the source of her own fear or the fear she senses. Rather like dark force, but it strikes the ground before her opponent creating a blast at their feet, making them unable to move for a couple minutes due to the fear that grips them. Hence the name. The blast radius can be quite large, so she must use this move at a distance. Deceptions of Darkness: This move allows her to absorb the darkness around her. Then she redirects the darkness toward her enemies. The darkness then makes the target see hallucinations for a little while. This doesn’t effect what else they see, but it does make them see things that aren’t there. The thing that appears depends on the person it is being used on. Generally, it would be something the person treasures or despises so as to distract them. This requires a feeling of deception as the name implies. Personality: She considers herself to be unlucky and has many issues with herself. She is quite serious, never smiles, unless it’s to taunt her opponent, and hardly frowns for that matter. She merely stares with a look that makes her seem distraught and confused. She is trying to find her way in life. She isn't happy with herself or her world. During fights, she is calm and focuses on her goal. She will go through anything to get there too. She shows no emotion and no mercy. Celia tends to sense when an enemy approaches yet when the enemy reaches her she is often unsure of what to do. She can control her emotions well. If she couldn't, then many of her attacks wouldn't work. She has considered killing herself several times, yet has always felt that she's even too weak to kill herself. She knows that death might not be her only choice so she never actually kills herself. Celia would only consider death seriously when her goal has become impossible. She treats every human the same: with distain. She treats fellow demons the same as she treats any race other than humans: calmly, collected, and serious. She has no religion and, in fact, feels hatred toward all religions. She’s an atheist proud and true. In her mind, God is nothing but something hopeful people created out of the figment of their imaginations. She thinks nature gods are possible, but highly unlikely. Since the demons that lived in her city were definitely not religious, she’s been this way her whole life. She may kill others, but she doesn't do it for fun. She always kills for a purpose. If she doesn't need to kill someone she lets them be and moves on. She finds that many people aren't even worth her time. She also knows when someone is way out of her league though. She knows to only fight the good fights and leave the rest for when she is stronger. My character isn't easy going. She is always on edge and never trusts anyone. To her, keeping her friends distant and her enemies close enough to kill is top priority. The only person she ever trusted was her brother whom she's lost all contact with. She dislikes humans and wishes peace for herself and her family. Unfortunately, she finds that it's easier said than done. She also dislikes light. It is the only thing that can appose her dark magic and she doesn't enjoy light in general at all. She was fond of a small baby bat she found once while traveling. She took care of it and let it go. Occasionally, she sees it one her travels and it seems like the one thing she believes she did right. Appearance: ![]() ![]() Celia is a gorgeous demon girl. Her hair is long, straight, and dark. Her eyes are deep and red. It seems like they could tell a thousand stories. When looked into they seem to have suffered a lifetime in the short years that Celia has been alive. Her left arm is bandaged with soft, yet sturdy cloth. Underneath it is a wound that she prefers to keep hidden, not to the world but to herself. She wears a purple suit that covers as much as any one piece swimsuit, but unlike a swimsuit, it is loose and comfortable. She wears a hood on her head that seems very much like a rag, but serves its purpose. She mainly uses it to so as people will be unaware of the fact she is a demon and to shroud herself further into darkness. She has neat purples shoes that weren’t made for fighting. They don’t look nearly as worn as they should. They are comfy and she’s very glad she has them. On her long legs, she wears leg stockings that are ripped in several places. She doesn’t care much for what she looks like, but she has been considered cute by many. History: Celia was born in a time when many demons were unsure of what to do. Humans disliked them and treated them horribly which is the probably what started her hatred for humans. She was born in a large city which consisted of both humans and demons. They lived peacefully for a while under demon rule, but Celia never realized that humans secretly hated demons. Celia grew up with her aunt because her mother had gone to fight humans that were rebelling against demon rulers. Her father had disappeared when she was two and she didn't know anything about him. Celia had an older brother that she had lost all contact with soon after he was old enough to leave their aunts house. Celia had one friend that was dear and close to her. Yet when she was 15, when they were traveling along the river near her aunt's house, her friend slipped into the river and was swept away. That has always been a sore spot for her since they never found her friend's body. Her childhood was a calm one, where she was absorbed in her own thoughts. Other than the comfort from her friend she lived in a world full of unhappiness. Her aunt was a sick person that couldn't help Celia whenever she needed help. Her aunt was always in bed. They lived in a normal house, but to Celia, it seemed like the house was so large it would swallow her up and she would never be heard from again. Her child hood was lonely and something that Celia doesn't care about. She knows that her childhood shaped her, but she leaves her past behind her as she moves forward. Her familiar has been a bat. She's always lived with bats and when she learned magic she decided to focus all that energy into her favorite creature. She feels close to them and thinks that they understand how she feels: Dark, lonely, and feared. She even took care of a baby bat when she was younger. She’d found it in the recesses of her aunt’s creepy house. She is traveling away from home to get away from her sadness and find someone who can understand her other than a bat. She is looking also for the one human that she doesn't feel absolute hatred for. Her goal is to finally be able to find someone she can trust and someone that she can believe in. She doesn't want to be lonely any more and she wants to fit in. In order to achieve that goal, Celia has found herself put up to a trying task. She has been put in an alliance. One that has humans in it. With them, she has fought countless enemies and made some almost friends. Zorlo, a fellow member, has attempted to make her open up. She is trying to deny all of his attempts, but still cannot escape the fact that some humans are not as vile as she first considered. She has gone on some adventures with people making her realize that despite being human, some people can really put up a good fight. Pathetic, but good none the less. In this alliance, she has faced some difficulties. On her quest to find the Amulet of Aizi, she and her companion had awoken a dormant demon and allowed him to take a human form with the aid of Zorlo’s dark side. She’s also begun many adventures with others on quests to battle and to find wonders. Celia found that sometimes allies were best not killed, but rather backed-up. She’s prepared to give her all for her goal and if going on countless quest and facing perils with the alliance is part of it, then so be it. Re: Character List
Name: Frost
Age: 21 Race: Elemental Sex: Female Hair: Short, straight, black Eyes: Black Weight: 54.43 kg Height: 162.56 cm Strengths: Frost is the last Ice Elemental. She can create and control all forms of Ice. She cannot be hurt by any form of Ice. Frost is an expert in defense and dodging. She is able to block hand-to-hand attacks and dodge magical spells. Frost rarely suffers a direct hit. If she gets hit, she can shift her body so that the impact is lessened. Weakness: Through some intense training, Frost was able to overcome her Elemental weakness of Fire, but her main weakness of not being that strong holds. She never engages into hand-to-hand combat. The only time she does is to block her opponent’s attacks. Frost’s defensive skills cannot deal with speed. Frost relies more on her Elemental abilities than her hands and feet; so naturally, almost all of her attacks are long distance. Skills/Magic: Throughout the years, Frost has trained to strengthen her Elemental skills by enhancing older ones and developing new ones. Icicle – Frost’s signature attack. She lifts her hand in front of her face with her palm facing her. She then separates her fingers and a small ice ball forms above each finger. She launches them towards her opponent and in midair; they form into small, but sharp icicles. Frost can continually create an unlimited amount of Icicles, but the Icicles themselves do not do much damage. They feel much like getting a needle shot. Icicle Barrage – A variation of her Icicle. She first makes a fist with her right hand and then places her left palm over her fist. Small icicles start to form all around her body. She then releases them and they fly off in all directions, nearly impossible to dodge. Just like her Icicles, this attack does not do much damage, but it does hit at multiple areas. Ice Skin – Frost’s secondary defense. A thin, strong, undetectable layer of ice completely covers Frost’s body. The layer is insanely hard. Although one direct hit will crack the ice, it takes a lot more to actually destroy the layer and damage Frost. This ice is able to automatically follow Frost’s movement and move accordingly, so her movements aren’t constrained. Unfortunately, if the any part of ice layer is broken off, it takes a lot of her own Elemental energy to reform it, since the Ice Skin takes at least 24 hours to reform completely by itself. She can usually reform a patch of ice the size of her fist without getting tired. Anything more of larger than that will tire her out. Chill – Frost breathes a breath of cold air that covers the area surrounding her and her opponent. This thick fog is hard to see through and can sometimes freeze parts of the opponent’s body. Derived from her sister’s Mist. Freeze – Frost grasps her right wrist and holds her right palm straight out. Her palm starts to glow light blue. She then fires a beam of Elemental Ice energy. This beam freezes anything it comes in contact with. Frost usually refrains from using it mainly because she cannot maintain this attack for long. She mostly fires in short beams, rarely in long sustaining ones, which makes this attack easier to dodge. There are four forms an Elemental can reach. In each form, an Elemental’s appearance, elemental, speed, and physical strength change. Also, depending on how strong their battle spirit is they can lose control of their mind in different forms. Meaning they will not have control of their body, all they will think about is destroying their opponent. At the moment, Frost has a medium battle spirit. Elemental Base – This is an Elemental’s first form. In this form they look like they regularly do. An Elemental can use their element and have the regular speed and strength they normally do in Base form. This is the form an Elemental starts out with. No matter how weak an Elemental’s battle spirit is they will always maintain control of their mind. Elemental Boost – This is an Elemental’s second form. In this form their iris and changes to the color of their Elemental aura. In Frost’s case, they turn light blue. In Boost form an Elemental’s element, speed, and strength increase by quite a lot. In order to achieve this form, an Elemental must be completely surrounded by their element. If an Elemental has a weak battle spirit, then they will lose control of their mind. Elemental Ascended - This is an Elemental’s third form. In this form their hair turns into their element. In Frost’s case, her hair turns to ice. In Ascended form an Elemental can summon or create their element anywhere they wish. In Base and Boost form they can only create their element near them. Also their element, speed, and strength increase proportionately. In order to achieve this form, an Elemental must be in Boost form and then insert their element inside their body. An Elemental must have a strong battle spirit to keep control of their mind. Personality: Frost is a complete worrywart. If one of her friends goes missing for even five minutes, she will go out and look for them. If it’s Blaze, it only takes two minutes. Frost is extremely clumsy and carefree. She is very clueless at points, but at the same time, she is quite smart when it comes to battle strategies. Appearance: Frost has short, straight, black hair that cuts off at her shoulders. She has a petite frame, but has well toned muscles in her arms and legs. She wears a light teal tank top with a dark blue miniskirt and light brown, knee-high boots. She has the Chinese symbol for Ice tattooed on her left arm and a teal colored Glacier Marble stone necklace. History: Frost was born on the planet Force. Frost’s Mother was a 22 year old Ice Elemental named Permafrost and her Father was a 24 year old Water Elemental named Aqua. Frost was born with a strange ability. Soon after she was born, Ice appeared and wrapped around her small body. At first the doctors were afraid that the Ice might constrict her, but it was the complete opposite. It surrounded her body and protected her. This Ice acted as a second skin. It seemed like it was not even there. A short while later, it was alerted that the North would attack the South. This startled the nation insanely. Many protested against it. A while later, it was announced that the Northern army and the entire Southern population was completely destroyed by four Elementals, dubbed as The Outcasts. The Outcasts were composed of Alloy, the Metal Outcast; Echo, the Sound Outcast; Splinter, the Wood Outcast; and Gravion, the Gravity Outcast. The Elementals created an eight-layered Elemental barrier around the northern cities. A few months after Frost’s first birthday, The Outcasts broke through the Elemental Dome. The Elementals in her neighborhood gathered together with eight escape pods. They decided to send an Elemental of each element to preserve their race. The Elementals to go were their children: Blaze, Lily, Frost, Lumis, Shadow, Zephia, Tidra, and Flash. Lumis and Shadow were the oldest at the time so they were put in charge of the other six. Shortly after their departure, Lumis had entered the wrong coordinates for three pods: Zephia, Tidra, and Flash traveled in a different direction. So now, Lumis and Shadow were left with Blaze, Lily and Frost. After a year through space, the Five Elementals landed on an unknown planet known as Earth. Lumis and Shadow looked around for some shelter. Lumis and Shadow were both six years old, Blaze and Lily were three, and Frost was two. There was an old abandoned house a few 100 meters away from their landing site. Upon further inspection, there seemed to be a town about a kilometer away. Fourteen years passed and the five Elementals gained experience and enhanced powers. They were even able to reach the second Elemental Form. It was at this time, Lumis decided to look for the three Rouges. Shadow had kept the coordinates and Lumis was able to change them accordingly to find the planet the other three were on. They each went to their individual pods and set out. After a month in space, they landed on a planet called Warlob. It was a barren and empty planet. Animals still lived on it, but hope began to grow thin that the three were still alive. The five began to wander around the desolate planet. Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew them away and knocked them down. Lumis immediately got up and stated that must have been the Wind Elemental, Zephia. They continued waking when they saw a girl with brown hair and tattered clothing. Lumis said that this was Zephia. Lily questioned him and asked how he knew. Lumis pointed out the Chinese symbol of wind on her left arm. They began to approach her. When she saw them, she attacked with a large burst of wind. The others were knocked down by the windblast, but Lumis was able to dodge it. He ran up to Zephia and showed her his tattoo. She immediately stopped from attacking. She recognized it was Lumis and hugged him. Lumis asked her where Tidra and Flash were. Zephia pointed over the horizon and said she would lead him to them. Lumis woke the others up and they continued to walk with a reunited friend. Zephia stopped and told the others to stay, while she would get Tidra and talk with her. She knew that Tidra might attack the five like she did earlier. A few minutes passed and Zephia walked back with Tidra. When Tidra saw Frost, she ran up to her and hugged her. At first, Frost and the others were very confused. Lumis reminded the others that Tidra and Frost were sisters. Frost burst into tears when she heard this and held her long lost sister. Shadow interrupted and told them there was still one more Elemental left: Flash, the Lightning Elemental. Lumis agreed with Shadow, but Zephia and Tidra warned them about how dangerous Flash has gotten. The now 7 Elementals continued to walk on when suddenly a bolt of lightning struck down and knocked out Lumis and Shadow. The others looked up and saw Flash on a large mound of rock and dirt. Zephia and Tidra asked Flash to come down and talk. Flash just shook his head and knocked them out with another lightning bolt. Now only Blaze, Lily, and Frost were left standing. Flash sent down another bolt, but Lily and Frost shielded it off and they were both knocked out. When Frost regained consciousness, she saw Blaze and Flash laughing. Blaze helped her up and explained how Flash was just testing him. After the others awoke, they left Warlob. The Elementals were reunited once and forever more. Back on Earth, Lumis explained how the Outcasts were very powerful and that they needed to at least reach Elemental Ascended in order to fight them. Shadow noted that staying in a large group might hinder training. The others nodded in agreement. So the eight separated into three groups: Blaze, Lily, and Frost; Lumis and Shadow; and Zephia, Tidra and Flash. Ever since Frost was reunited with Tidra, they began to hang out a lot more. Frost looked up to Tidra and even developed a move based on her sister’s. Tidra would often visit her sister to help her out in her training. Frost and Blaze began to develop a loving relationship. They went off on their own and sometimes Lily would catch them and force them back into training. Frost and Lily would always hang out, while Blaze often disappeared to avoid training. Frost would worry insanely about him, but Lily would tell her to calm down. Frost continued to train her defensive stances, perfecting them to every last detail. Soon, Blaze and Lily weren’t able to even hit her once. Five years of intense, and some not so intense, training had passed when Lumis contacted all the Elementals and told them to meet at the landing point. All of them had reached the third Elemental Form and Lumis said it was time for the next level. When they were all there he showed them a piece of paper with writing on it. It said: Use these stones. We will come to Earth when you have fully mastered their power, The Outcasts. Lumis opened his hand and revealed eight necklaces. Each one had a stone of a different color. Lumis gave them out to the corresponding Elemental. Shadow explained what these necklaces were. They were made from a mineral called Elemental Marble. There were eight forms of elemental marble: Volcano Marble, Flint Marble, Glacier Marble, Day Marble, Night Marble, Zephyr Marble, Beach Marble, and Surge Marble. These marbles were used to reach the final Elemental form. After six more months of training, five of the eight reached the next level: Blaze, Lumis, Shadow, Tidra, and Flash. Although, only two have mastered it: Lumis and Shadow. Frost continues training with Blaze and Lily so that she reach the next level and become like her sister. |

Re: Character List
After 5 months, another upgrade.
Name: Tsukineko Alias: Neko of Blades Age: 20 Race: Neko Race explanation: A Neko is a cross between a human and cat creature(in this case a cat demon) Sex: male Hair: Semi-short black hair Eyes: Left is blood red, right is gold. Both are cat-like Weight: 120 lbs. Height: 6' 0"(6' 3" if you count his ears) Weapon: -Twin Swords of Kurenkento: The Original twin short swords Kurenkento used that were given to him by his Mother, the Goddess of Temptation; Macha. After being separated by Sakuraneko and Zorlo, they have now come to the ownership of his son, Tsukineko. Having chosen him as their new master, the can change form at the will of their master to become virtually any sword/dagger-like weapon from a Stiletto to a Zanbatou, but must be used carefully as the weight increased/decreased in proportion to the size they assume. Indestructible and unwieldible by any other. Their hilts are engraved with a hunting tiger, its claws unsheathed and teeth bared, surrounded by forest with a ruby embedded at the end of the hilt. The sheaths are red with the black outline of a Neko wielding two short swords in a full charge; its arms held bent behind it, ready to strike. The Neko is in mid stride with a determined look upon its face. The blade themselves are double-edged and shaped perfectly to both slice and pierce with ease. -Necklace of 8: Explained in skills. -Gate of Blades: Tsukineko's most used weapon. Explained in depth in skills. Armor: -Shi no Kyoufu: Magical black armor crafted specifically for Tsukineko by an armorer in the Temple of Macha. When not active, it take the form of black pendent emblazoned by a blooming rose in front of a full moon. When active, black armor completely covers his body (except his head and tail) in demonic, black armor. Black metal gauntlets cover the Neko's hands and forearms like a second skin while black, matching greaves cover his shins and feet the same way, both including curved blades along the arms and shins. Dark plate-mail covers his body, shoulders, and thighs almost like dragon scales with a Blooming rose on the chest and the full moon on the back. While activated, it gives Tsukineko a more fearsome, evil look and even makes his hair spike wildly during use. Made from the the pendent manifesting his pure shield energies into a physical form, the armor weighs nearly nothing and doesn't restrict his movements in the least. Activated by running his shield energy into the pendent, it renders his Wall shield unusable while in use, but protects him to the same degree. When inactive, it repairs any damage it has sustained on its own and can activate on it's own accord if It senses Tsukineko's life is in danger. Starlight and Moonlight: A new set of gauntlets and greaves crafted for him before he received The Shi no Kyoufu armor pendent. Starlight is a pair of Gauntlets that can link to his Necklace of 8 to help absorb elemental power and to help him focus elemental attacks. The fingertips of them have a small opening just big enough to allow His claws to extend through for use. Moonlight is a matching pair of greaves that have the ability to form a powerful shield that block the most intense of attacks once every few hours. The shield actives only if Tsukineko is nearly helpless, making it unreliable. Starlight and Moonlight are completely black with white, glowing lines running its length. Both are crafted for magically reinforced steel and will never break of rust as long as he uses them. Strengths: Being half cat demon, he's stronger and faster than most humans and has a natural ability for magic. He has great running and jumping ability and can even keep up with horses for periods of times. His red eye can see magic disturbances(like when someone starts casting or charging a spell) and has increased its abilities to training. His close-combat abilities have increased greatly, making him a force to be reckoned with if you give him a even a moment to gain ground. Also thanks to his training, he has increased his stamina a bit, though not much. Weaknesses: Even though he has the speed to keep up with horses but can't hold it for long during fights since it takes energy he needs to cast spells. Because of Tsukineko being half cat demon, he has a weakness to water elemental attacks and will dodge or block water first even if it leaves him open to attack. It's an instinctive reaction due to being a Neko. Tsukineko also has a fear of being engulfed or surrounded by fire because of an event in his childhood and can even panic to the point that he wouldn't be able to think straight in any way. Skills/magic: Magical Scan - One of the hidden abilities of those that carry the red eye of magic from Kurenkento's bloodline. It gives improved magical sight beyond the normal red eye, allowing sight to see magic hidden away then the normal sight couldn’t see and lets one see the caster form the magic before its casting, giving more time to react. When activated, the pupil shrinks and four black stars appear in the iris surrounding the pupil. Causes almost no drain on those with two red eyes and a tiny drain on those with one red eye. Aero - A wind manipulation style Tsukineko gained from her fight with Rika Kaza Oni. Thanks to her her, he learned how change the wind resistance around an object or person along with other things like forming the wind into cutters and manipulation of wind-energy attacks. Shield Modifiers: Through study and hard work, Tsukineko learned to temporarily add special effects to his Wall shield. Noticeable by the color each one turns his normally clear Wall shield. His current Modifiers are: - Pain Bringer: As the name suggests, contact causes tremendous pain, but no actual harm. Use turns his Wall Shield a light, see-through gray. - Concusser: Counters with a blast of concussive force when struck by an attack. The stronger the hit, the stronger the blast. Use turns his Wall Shield pale yellow. - Elemental: Changes the Wall shield to absorb the elemental power of a specific element, but becomes far more easily broken by the opposite element. Appearance differs depending on the element to be absorbed. Wall-This places a medium-strong shield to any direction. This shield can block powerful strikes like those from axes and boulders and middle level magics, but will shatter if hit with anything stronger causing damage and a good amount of pain to Tsukineko whether the attack that shattered Wall hits him or not. Since each hit weakens this shield, holding it too long will quickly drain him. He can also cast multiples of this to protect 360 degrees around him. This shield is his most versatile shield, able to be kicked off of or stood on even in mid-air. It can also be multi sized, from the size of Tsukineko's feet to the size of a large wall and while it can't be turned, it can be moved forward and back or allowed to free fall with gravity's pull, though not pushed over. Looks much like a sheet of glass under normal use. Smashing Shield- This very strong shield can physically damage back with the force it was hit with and will absorb most magic attacks to help fuel the shield itself. This shield is extremely demanding of energy, so it can't be used or maintained for long without the (unloving) help of the enemies magical attacks. Because of the way this shield damages, it's nothing more than a waste of energy against physically weak enemies unless they use a lot of magic. Recently, Tsukineko discovered that if a force were to overwhelm and shatter this shield, the backlash would stop his heart. The necklace of 8- A necklace of 8 crystallized elements. Each crystal can be used 7-10 times a day to fuel his various elemental needs, but takes a day to recharge on its own if fully drained. Claws of power-Basically it's his natural claws, but made as strong as steel by infusing them with magical or elemental energy. These claws can cut through anything a sword or axe could but causes a slow but steady drain of energy to use. He's also learned in the race to the Master of Combat to wield multiple elements at once and to infuse his gauntlets and even greaves with this same element though its more draining when used that way. He's beginning to use this less now due to his other learned skills. Hyouringeki-A Special attack created during the Master of Combat race in his fights with his clone and Boomer. He builds up a single hand with one or both of his solid elements (Ice and/or Earth) until it formed a spire around his lower arm with a very sharp point starting at a foot in front of his fist and slowly widening to the size of a basketball at the end. After which, Tsukineko then runs two or three more elements, most often Light, Dark, and Wind before running full speed at his foe to attempt to impale them. Uses a huge amount of his stored Elemental energy and can't be used if he's already out of earth/ice element with no place to draw more. Gate of Blades- An inherent ability Tsukineko learned to unlock and use from a Gate Master while training to become a Mage Warrior of Macha. This gate produces any bladed weapon Tsukineko calls for, regardless of size or shape. The weapons are made of a mysterious red crystalline material that doesn't seem to break no matter what and are extremely light weight. The weapon(s) must drawn from the gate since only the hilt comes out at first and each weapon returns to the Gate if lost. The gate is blood red and forms anywhere the user wishes, but is based at the palms. Multiple weapons can be formed at an opened Gate if so desired. Tsukineko’s most called weapons are a set of single edged swords, a broadsword with a blade that much resembles his sister Sakuraneko's Tsukiyomi, and a large scythe Though other weapons aren't too uncommon. Shunpou -Special movement technique tuaght mainly to the best in the Temples of Macha, Priestess and Mage Warrior alike. Through minute build-up and release of bodily energy through the feet and legs, the user can almost seem to vanish from sight in high speed bursts. Can be performed in both mid-air and on the ground and becomes easier and less costly as one gains in ability. As a comparison, someone horrible with it might wear out after 3-5 times while someone extremely great with it might take 100's or 1000's of times to begin to tire. Tsukineko has proven to be exceptional at it though it is still new to him and takes several dozen to really feel it. Runs on Stamina usually instead of Magical power. Elemental Cannon -Tsukineko gathers a ball of Elemental energy and fires it at his enemy. The more element, the bigger the ball and the stronger it is. If over powered, it’s likely to backfire and explode so if possible he never forms it bigger then a softball. He can also just slam the formed ball into a foe without launching it. Each element attacks differently. Appearance: Wears black pants with red Scythe-like designs going up the side of each leg and a black, sleeve-less shirt with This symbol on the back. Over this he wears a long, black, sleeveless Kosode with the symbol of the Mage Warrior force he commands, the flame with crossed swords that represents the 11th Unit. It open at the front to show his necklace and pendant and has two semi-hidden pockets on the lower front of it. On his hands and feet he wears the Starlight and Moonlight gauntlet/greave set. On the of his left and right hips, sit his twin short swords. Around his neck sits the Necklace of 8 and the Shi no Kyoufu pendent while numerous scars from previous fights decorate his arms, chest, and back with one running down his face across his red eye from a slash that came close to blinding him. He has an average but cat-like face with 3" long cat ears instead of human ears and inch long sheathed claws on each hand under his finger nails. Tsukineko is somewhat slim and not very tan even though he spends most of his time outside. His black, fur covered tail is able to reach up to his shoulders. Personality: Tsukineko is a loner, mostly just roaming the countryside doing odd-jobs and looking for a place that will teach him more defensive and offensive spells. He's very curious of things to the point it almost did kill the cat but hasn't learn to control it much. Because of his low contact with people, it takes him a long time to trust anyone and will stop trusting them completely it they break his trust but will fiercely protect anyone he calls a friend(the main reason Tsukineko has a lot of his scars) and since he has dealt with insults his entire life, they don't even bother him anymore. Thanks to his dealings in the Alliance of Tasogare, the race to the Master of Combat, and has 5 months of training as a Mage warrior of Macha, he's lost most of his dislike of fighting and is even enjoying many of the fights. Even so, he still tends not to kill anything but animals to eat or unless he is forced to or believes it is justified. History: Tsukineko was born to Sakura Yasashii, a human woman in a small village in the countryside. Because of what he was, Tsukineko and his mother were shunned by the village and even attacked on occasion by some but usually didn't do much too hurt the two of them for fear of angering Tsukineko's father and possible making him attack the village. At the age of 5, the village finally made the decision, they all decided it was time to get rid of Tsukineko and his mother and in the middle of the night they set fire to the house Tsukineko and his mother lived in. With his mothers help he made it out but she couldn't make it and died that night. Before she died she told him to leave the village and head to his aunts house in the close-by village from their house and don't come back. Run as fast as you can and you'll make it. This is the last time Tsukineko saw this village as the house collapsed on his mother and he started to run. After running for several hours, he arrived at his aunt's house where he collapsed and was unconscious for several days. When he awoke and remembered what happened, he vowed to never let someone innocent die because of what he was. He spent several years with his aunt helping out and learning his first magics from the village mage until this village started being violent toward Tsukineko and his aunt. At 12 years old he left the village fearing his aunt might also be killed like his mother was and started roaming from village to village, trying to learn new magic and doing odd jobs to survive, always leaving at the first sign of violence toward himself and the people he stayed with. Eventually, he found a swordsmen to stay and for the next 4 years he learned how to wield a short sword and move with a weapons attack to keep from getting hurt or to minimize injury. Over the years, through all the fights and training, Tsukineko learned how to fight with his natural claws and to strengthen them with his own magic power or that of nearby elements so that he could fight when unarmed or to surprise foes that are close to killing him. He also has started to learn a unique style of close range combat using both his claws and short sword to try and gain an upper hand against foes, but this is still far from being a great help. Due to this, he has acquired a great many scars for his trouble. Afterward, he roamed for another 3 years, looking for a place to learn new magics and improving old ones he knew until he, by chance, found an abandoned mansion. After searching through the mansion for anything of value, he happened to see the necklace of 8 on a dust covered pedestal. After picking it up, he quickly realized it was a trap and just barely made it out before the place collapsed. Believing he was meant to have the necklace since a normal human wouldn't have made it out before the place collapsed, Tsukineko decided to keep the necklace instead of selling it and has never taken it off since. Soon after, he discovered the Necklace of 8 holds elemental power to be used by it's wearer and slowly learned to draw out it's power with more control. It wasn't until the race to the master of combat Tsukineko truly began to change. Having to fight against not only His newest comrade Zorlo, but the Elven warrior; Illdian, and the Meta-Goron; Boomer. Through a vast desert, across an ocean, over a mountain, He raced the others while wondering if her could truly fight the others. He made his way through a blizzard with the temporary aid of Boomer before meeting up with the others at the final hurtle, a poison Swamp. Making his way through, the battles commenced, not with each other, but first with a clone of them capable of using everything they can possible do with their powers. From this first battle, is were Tsukineko learned to use multiple elements, super-charge elements, and created the Hyouringeki attack. The next fight with Boomer taught him new ways to utilize his abilities and let him master this Hyouringeki. His bare loss at the hands of the Goron showed him just what power truly means and after a week of thinking, he decided for himself that he need to get over his dislike of fighting and become stronger. Both to strengthen himself and to be able to protect the one's her cares about and Joined the Temple of Macha's Mage Warriors under to service of Haineko, 'The Priestess of Ash and Flame. It's been a little over five months since his defeat at the hands of Boomer, since his decision to change himself. It has been a long and painful road for the Neko after his training began, but his Priestess' beliefs of his potential proved true. Tsukineko has become leader of the Mage Warrior's 11th unit and gained a Name among those that know of him now. To some, he is respected. To others, he is feared as the powerful; "Neko of Blades" from his skill with his choice weapons and the unique Gate of Blades he now wields. Now he travels to catch up with old friends and Search of the Sacred Cathedral of Macha, a legendary place that holds power for those that can enter it. It is here that you rejoin Tsukineko in his life.

His parents gave him up, as was rule in Yanyu, because law only permits you to have 2 children, and unfortunately he was born third. So at the tender age of 5, he was adopted by a traveling musician that taught him to use magic through song using traditional instruments like the pipa, erhu, gu zheng, dizi, and yang qin. He was given his gu zheng to continue his practice before his mentor had sent him off to the central music conservatory. He felt it was important to use what he was taught, so while attending the prestigious acedemy, he went straight to the head of his class. But it was required that he take magic for at least a year, something he was never really good at. He only got to learn a few spells, but before he could learn the others, he and 4 of his classmates were summoned by the Emperor to entertain him. The emperor was cruel, harsh, and was both feared and loved by his people. Emperor Fuxie would beat the children if they did not play to his satisfation. On one occasion, one of Zhou's guzheng strings broke; the then infuriated tyrant grabbed him by the hair and shoved him in the cellar without food or water for 2 days. He swore to himself that he would get him and his friends out of that horid palace. So he, Jaing (the erhu player) Liao (the dizi player) Zhang (the pipa player) and Ma (the yang qin player) all devised a plan of escape. To their advantage, they made it out and called on the aid of many others to help otherthrow this evil ruler. Then 13, he didnt know what to do, so he waged war. His plan had failed, and he walked from the battle field bloody, with his beloved friends instruments in hand. Some said the look in his eyes made you want to kill yourself, it was that empty and hopeless. He dissapeared quietly into the forest and noone was to see him untill the 4 year "aneversary" of that fateful day. An all grown up Zhou was more than just a shock to the vilagers, but a celebration. So after a weeks recovery, he was taken to a memorial in his friends honor. He fell to his knees and lay there silent. Over and over again he reminded himself of his plan to revolt, he realized the only way he culd be successful in his plans would be to attend the Battle School. The towns people presented him with their most valuable posession, which wasnt much, considering the village was poor. He took the Kusarigama he was given, and set out on his way to the school...

Re: Character List
Approved by that Sith Dragon, Tiroth.
--------------------------------------------- Name: Flux Age: 29 Race: Coleric Home Planet: Aquarius Sex: Male Eyes: Blue, though they are never shown. Weight: 198 lbs. Height: 5' 10" Equipment: Class-Beta Coleric ArmorSuit- Flux’s armorsuit is the latest in a long line of Coleric advances. It has most features standard to Coleric armorsuits: nuclear power cells, neural integration, various weapons, life-support system, water mobility, and minimal defensive shielding. The suit’s speciality is that it is made of the alloy known as Hytlux, stronger than most but not the strongest of all. The neural integration allows most changes in the suit to be done solely by thought, mainly with weapons. The defensive shielding creates a field around Flux that can take minimal damage before the suit itself is actually hit. Also, his visor can display information such as ammo content and power readings. Class-B Weapons: High-Energy Blade- Flux’s primary and only melee weapon is a energy blade that emits from the right arm of his suit. Despite it’s name, it is the least taxing on the power cells of the armorsuit. The blade is an icy blue and able to cut through weak metal easily. (Note: Even though I put that, I’m not going to have him slice through anybody’s sword.) Photon Gun: This weapon is on his left hand and fires light blue energy bullets at opponents. The gun does have it’s own energy cell which lasts about 30 shots, after which it must drawn on the main power cells. The shots don’t go through someone if they hit but rather cause painful burns on flesh. As a result, a foes might not even feel the shots if they don’t hit skin. Photon Cannon: A cannon is hidden in the back of Flux’s armorsuit. The large blasts fired from this weapon are enough to immediately kill and unprotected enemy. However, the shots require a large amount of energy from the power cells, leaving this weapon as a last resort and only if Flux knows it will take out an opponent. It cannot be used if the main power falls below a certain point. Strengths: The Class-B Armorsuit greatly increases all of Flux’s physical attributes. It’s life-support system allows him to survive in extreme environments for days and even without food and water. The defense of the suit is it’s largest quality. Only strong attacks can breach the Hytlux metal, resulting in an almost-impenetrable exoskeleton. He is also adept at melee fighting without a weapon so that he can preserve the power cells of his suit. Weakness: The armorsuit adds a total of 95 lbs to Flux’s body weight, which makes no faster than an average human. Time is probably the biggest concern; the suit’s nuclear power cells will only last for so long. The use of his weapons creates a greater strain on the cells which can result in a shutdown is overused. If a shutdown occurs, Flux will be helpless. Electrical attacks are another concern. Even the slightest shock can cause some system to malfunction and electricity is deadly to Flux himself. Also, the joints are the least protected of his suit and are more easily pierced than the rest of his body. Support Systems: Sonar- Most of the time, Flux keeps the visor of the armorsuit covered. Instead, he uses sophisticated sonar to ‘see’ the world. It’s an effective approach as he can find enemies even if they use some kind of optical cloaking. However, there can be an information overload if there are too many things moving at once. Crowds usually aren’t a big deal unless they are huge. In fact, what causes overload the most is insects since the sonar even picks up their movements. It also has about a 30 millisecond delay, which can cause problems against very fast opponents. Appearance: Flux’s whole body is a shiny, blue color due to his armorsuit. The joints are made of a black material to allow easy movement. He has a spherical chest which his two arms branch off of. They are relatively thin but durable with a elbow and wrist joint. His hands have only two fingers and a thumb, all of which are sharp. His right arms has a protrusion for his blade while the gun on his left is a half-oval shape that hangs over his hand about three inches. His helmet his square-shaped with rounded edges except for the front which hangs in front of his neck. There is a circular visor in the middle of his helmet for his three triangle-arranged eyes to look out of, though a thin covering is usually kept over it. The visor is lighter blue in color and only one way. He has a small cylinder-shaped waist that lead to spherical hips from which his three legs branch off of. His legs are jointed in three places: a third of the way down, two-thirds down, and at his feet. His feet are little more than flat disks with a little bit sticking up to connect to his legs. However, his three legs and odd feet give him great balance. Personality: Flux isn’t really a good person or a bad person though he does bend a little more to the good side. As a mercenary/bounty hunter, his job entails large amounts of knowledge about other planets, species, and fighting abilities. He will kill who or what he was hired to, though he doesn’t take too many jobs such as that. He prefers missions that involve protection or even discovery. The Coleric isn’t one to talk to much in battle and focuses on what needs to be done. However, he is comfortable having discussions with others who have similar personalities. Insults don’t mean much to him though a few can set him off. As a Coleric, he is most comfortable in water environments and is unsettled by hot or electrical ones. Biography: Colerics are a race of insect-like beings that make their home on the planet known as Aquarius. Aquarius is about 85% covered in water, making Colerics a perfect race for the planet. Their flat feet allow them to skim across water and even stand on it if need be but only for a slight amount of time. Coleric diets consist mainly of aquatic animals that resemble fish but they have been known to eat the many insects that inhabit their planet, as well. Despite being a fairly peaceful race, they are also one of most advanced in terms of technology. Their technology resulted in a race of mostly peace-keeping insects. Flux, which isn’t his real name as his Coleric name is almost unpronounceable by other races, was born into this great society. Both of his parents became soldiers for the protection of Aquarius which led him to do the same. He entered at the age of ten, relatively normal for Colerics. At first, his military training only revolved around studies of other planets, races, and politics that are envolved as they viewed themselves as peace-keepers. Eventually, at 15, his studies began to turn towards military plans and strategies. During that time, melee combat was taught. Flux was fairly adept at combat which gave him high scores and good references. Then, at the age of 20, came the test that most cadets look forward too: armorsuit training. Amazingly, very few are able to use armorsuits well due to the physical at mental strain that the suit first produces. Flux was able to over come this obstacle and found armorsuits to be pleasant experience. He excelled in his training and was one of the first to graduate and fully become a soldier. His first, and last, mission sent him and a group of five others to make trade agreements with another race known as Racs. Racs greatly resemble upright, earthling salamanders but are a great deal crueler than other races. Most crimes in have some roots in Rac interference, even through several layers. However, as a peaceful race, Colerics weren’t to disturbed by Rac dealings unless it was with them. This mission would set new trade laws and taxes between the two beings and most Colerics thought agreements like this would eventually bring the Racs around to do less harm. The meeting went well as new laws were set between the two. It seemed like just a routine talk until the Racs turned and shot down at Flux’s group. Surprised by this turn, most of the group tried to reason with the attack but were easily shot down. Flux did managed to escape and fly away from the Rac spaceship but didn’t return to his home planet. Instead, he drifted for several days, questioning his teachings. He was taught to promote peace and only resort to violence last but after seeing his comrades so easily killed the Coleric wasn’t sure about that teaching. Eventually, he decided that reasoning was flawed and would only lead to the death of his race. But rather than go back to Aquarius and try to convince the others of the problem, which would never happen, the insect remained in space. Flux became a bounty hunter and mercenary to earn money since it was the only thing he was taught. He became rather well-known and soon did not have to scrap for money. However, he still holds a grudge against the Racs for the attack and won’t deal with them at all. Perhaps, if he can earn enough fame, the Coleric can return to his home planet and convince the rest of his race of the flaw in their philosophy.

For example; Arina can only transform into a white falcon) Gender: Female Eyes: Light purple Hair: Long and light purple Height: 5 feet, 3 inches . Weight: 104 lbs Weapons: None Armor: None Strengths: (Human form) She is light, so she can jump very high and far, and run very fast, also, for some reason, she was born with a unique white glow, which can help light her way a little when traveling under the cover of night. (Falcon form) She can fly, and her falcon form also emits the white glow. Also her eyesight is extremely sharp. Weaknesses: In both her falcon and human forms, her bones are lightweight. Which means they can break easily, and she is easier to throw around. The white glow makes people think she is some sort of demon, she can also be easier spotted because of this. She also has no fighting skills whatsoever. Magic/Skills: Arina can use her wings (even in human form, she can stop the transformation midway.) to cause a blast of wind that pushes her attackers a little way back. Telepathy: When in her falcon form, she cannot speak, and therefore sends messages from her mind via telepathy to who she wants to communicate with. Appearance: ![]() Arina is a beautiful young saurian. She was envied by other young saurian girls because of her beauty. She has long purple hair and deep, absorbing purple eyes. She wears a sort of cape around her waist, which looks like a blue dress from the back, but it is open in the front. The cape reaches her ankles which is covered by a pair soft brown boots, that reach up almost halfway on her shins. Her incandescent glow can only be seen in the night or when she is in dark areas. She also looks a little younger than her age, which is seventeen. Personality: Arina is a shy and quiet person. She never talks to anyone she doesn’t know. If she does, it’s very few words. She is humble and easily hurt, both physically and emotionally. She is also obedient to her parents or those in authority. But, although she is shy and humble, she will bravely stand up for her beliefs. Character Biography: Even from the time she was born, her parents knew that Arina was unique. Her glow was present even when she was first put to sleep by her parents. Her father was nervous about it, wondering what would happen if anyone else would find out about his daughter’s eerie glow. Her mother thought the glow to mean something special, her father thought the glow to be weird. Arina was an only child. She used to watch, on evenings after her lessons, her mother turn into a falcon and fly off to somewhere unknown to the girl. Her father could have turned into an eagle, but he was too lazy to do anything other than sit around the house all day. The aeoleansaurian race lived in the valleys of a small island, not far from the land of Taraine. It was tradition, that when a teenage aeoleansaurian reached the age of seventeen, they would turn into their bird for the first time during a small village festival. It was also tradition, that if the teenager did not turn into their bird form on the same night of the festival, the teen would be exiled from the village, never to return. By and by, time passed. Arina had bloomed into a beautiful young teenager. Her father never let her go out at night, for fear of someone finding out about her glow. But, he knew, in the back of his mind, that his efforts were futile. Arina was coming of age, and the night of her seventeenth birthday would be her unveiling. His brow creased from worry, his hair grayed. His wife constantly asked him what was the matter, but he never responded. Arina herself was never bothered about her glow, it was something that she had all her life, it just became a figure in the corner of her eye, and given some more time, it faded completely from her mind. It all came too soon. The night of her seventeenth birthday was upon her. Arina’s father started to panic. He covered his daughter in as much dark clothing as possible, but, this night was different, she glowed brighter than ever before. It shone through her clothes. The time had come, the festival was ending, a proud mother and a worried father watched as the door opened on the house and Arina strode outside. There was a silent sigh of relief from her father as the torches cancelled out the glow. The mayor of the village was met with all smiles. Arina was shaking in her boots. Her clothes muffled the sound of her knees knocking together. Can I really pull this off? , she thought, Can I really turn into a bird? The music of the festival tore through the air. And it echoed along with the mayor’s shout. “Stop!” The music ended, Arina stood in the middle of the festial, nervous and shaking. “Arina, of the aeoleansauria, now is your time to spread your wings, and feel the wind beneath them…” Arina closed her eyes, and concentrated. Her eyes were shut tight, she shut the sound of the mumbling crowd out. She stood there, concentrating for a while. The mumbles of the crowd grew stronger. “I… I can’t,” She sighed, finally, “I can’t change…” “Then the sentence is passed, you are hereby exiled from your homeland.” Her mother shot up, the crowd gasped. Arina’s tears met the ground. She cried, the crowd started to disperse, those who seemed to be sad shook there heads and moved on. Those who were jealous of her beauty and personality cackled like the witches they were. Her parents watched her silently, sadly. Her cries grew in pitch. The wail grew louder and sharper, cutting through the dispersing crowd and directing their attention back to her. Bright white feathers fluttered through the air. Her wings spread straight out, touching the houses on both sides, her wingspan was larger than her mother’s. And not only that, her wings glowed furiously, unleashing the brightness upon the people who had rejected her when she couldn’t change earlier. Her wings beat against the ground, raising clouds of dust and pushing herself upwards, into the air. She had changed into her falcon form, a brilliant, glowing white. She kept wailing, she knew the mayor’s judgment was final. Her wings beat furiously, propelling her away from the village, her parents, and her home. She flew all night, over the oceans. Her purple falcon’s eyes were filled to the brim with tears. She finally flew over land, she descended. When she landed she turned back into her human form, and continued her crying. It was dawn when she had landed, and, she did not see where, or who she was landing in front of. “Crying ill suits a girl of such beauty,” She heard someone say, it was a calm voice. “Wha..?” She sniffed, wiping her eyes, she looked up at the figure. He was handsome, wearing a suit of black, with a red cape pulled to the side, his sword was sheathed, he was smiling encouragingly. “Miss…?” the young man asked, “You know, you shouldn’t be out here alone, there are thieves and murderers about.” Her eyes widened, she immediately thought this man was a threat. She kept silent, still sitting there. “Well,” the young man started, “since you don’t want to move, I’ll stay here, in case anything happens.” He put his bow and sword down, and sat down with his back against a tree. “My name, mistress, is Raven.” He said, “and what might be yours? But, you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to.” Arina pulled her legs up, and put her knees to her chest, and rested her chin between them. “A…Arina” She said softly. “A beautiful name,” Raven responded, “you also have an amazing power too….” She was taken by surprise. “What?... You… you saw… me….” “Yes, I did. I’ll tell you what, I’m not surprised, I’ve seen worse.” Arina lowered her eyes. She felt something different about this stranger, she felt that he would understand. She relayed her story. “So you were exiled?” Raven asked, she nodded. “Mm-hmm…” “And you’ll be by yourself…” “Yeah…” “Then come with me.” “What? But… but…” “Listen, you can’t travel by yourself, and you have no where to go, so come with me, I’ll protect you, and you’ll lend me your company.” He smiled. Arina, was surprised, she knew she couldn’t travel by herself, and she really did have no where to go. She accepted Raven’s offer. She also knew that she may be able to escape him, if he tries anything. But her last thought was in vain. She had grown fond of her new friend. Both Raven and Arina shared adventures and run-ins with troubles together. Her adventurous spirit was awakened. |

Re: Character List
Approved by Drewey.
Name: Rask Age: 18 Race: Werecat Sex: Male Hair: Sleek black, down to his neck. Eyes: Lime green, cat-like slits instead of pupils. Weight: 150lbs Height: 6’0 Weapon: In human form he wields twin blades named Lef and Eni, each about a foot and a half in length. In cat form he uses his sharp claws and teeth. Strengths: In human form he has fast blocks and speedy reactions. In cat form he makes up for vulnerabilityby his quick moves so is not often hit. Rask is stronger than a normal cat meaning he can take hits like a human thus minimising the damage done. However though he is strong he is also stealthy, he can squeeze through tight gaps and creep around un-noticed. He can transform between forms in a matter of seconds and requires practically no energy. Weakness: He has a great fear of water and sailing and is weak to ice and water magic. He cannot transform back to human form if he wears a collar so avoids being with a master for too long. His weakest point is his tail while a cat and it is less of a quick thinker with a smaller mind. While in human form he is much weaker with one weapon or any weapon that isn’t Eni or Lef. He has a great despise of evil that often gets him into battles. He only eats meat so is in trouble if none is around. Skills/Magic: He learned a few spells from his mother before he left. Elemental Magic He can make a small ball of fire appear in his hand and through it in any direction he pleases. He can also make small balls of water, electricity and wind but doesn’t use them as often. Flaming Steel Lef and Eni’s blades ignited with flames and can leave great burn mark if you are hit with them. It takes away some energy, the longer it lasts the more it takes. Leonaga Ephedra found this while studying the ancient Werecat tribe. If shouted it changes Rask from a normal cat into a great orange beast. It is about twice the size of a normal human and can use an attack called the flame stomp. He leaps into the air and slams his feet back to the ground causing a great ring of fire that flies out in all directions and severely injures anything in its path. This form only lasts a few minutes and then he returns to his normal state in which he immediately faints through lack of energy. These sleeps can last up to nine hours at a time. Personality: He is generally a talkative guy as a human but doesn’t often help to cheer up people with his remarks. He generally thinks of himself before others and would sacrifice his own mother for and extra minute of life. He generally prefers to stay in his cat form and likes to sleep a lot. When travelling with someone else he likes to lie on their head and sleep or take in the sights. He travels from town to town choosing different people to take care of him as he goes, usually women, and never reveals his true identity, preferring to be just a stray cat. He lives of a diet of purely meat and will eat little else but what he has caught himself. He usually eats his favourite dish, mice. Rask has an irrational fear of water and dogs/wolfs and a great love of exploring the unknown. Appearance: As a human he has sleek black hair reaching down to his neck and his ears have small points at the end. He has a scar over his right eye and has large canines that sometimes stick out of his mouth. He wears a plain black cape on his back and a grey shirt on his chest. He has slightly tight pants and large black boots. It is said that among women he is quiet handsome. He has a belt buckle with the head of a silver cat on it and around his neck he has a wooden necklace with a small goblin clasping a white gem. In cat form he wears this too and has a large purple eye tattooed to his forehead. He is a sleek, thin cat and large than most and has very short whiskers. In both human and cat form he has the same shimmering, lime-green eyes with cat-slits for pupils. Biography: Born in the small town of Lufecarg Rask grew us as a normal human child. He was popular among most people and trained at the age of eight with Horst, the town champion, to wield twin blades. He excelled at it and was soon top of the class. At the age of fifteen he beat Horst in a training match and would have been the new town champion if it weren’t for his age. He never knew his father as he left his mother when Rask was yet to be born for another three months. All his life he has wondered who his is and why he ran away, his mother would never tell him anything about him. His mother was the town healer and also cast a few magic spells. On the seventeenth anniversary of his birth he was asleep in his bed when a knock was heard at his door. He awoke to see a cloaked man standing in the doorway before everything went hazy and he passed out. He awoke to find himself bound in a large stone cathedral. It had titanic stained glass windows, six on each wall, showing twelve different animals. Rask looked round to see twelve men, one under each window. They wore long dark cloaks that reached the floor, thick hoods that covered their faces and a necklace with a small wooden goblin on the end holding a gem, each person had a different colour jewel. A flood of memories came back to the boy. He was four. His large childish eyes looked out onto a grassy pathway and with a small footsteps set out walking. As he walked he heard something under his shoe. He lifted his leg and under his foot lay a small wooden necklace of a goblin holding a white gem tightly. He picked it up and tied it around his neck. He had never taken it off in thirteen years. And here stood twelve other men, all walking towards him now, wearing extraordinarily similar necklaces. The men stood in a line and one with a ruby necklace stepped forward and spoke; “You boy wear the necklace of the cat, the darkest and most sly of the zodiac animals. You have the power to destroy all of man kind with the right training. Therefore you must be destroyed and may Laiceps have mercy on your soul.” With that he and the other stepped forward and blades shot out of their sleeves. Luckily Rask had been loosening the ropes on his hands while the man had spoke and now let them fly off all together. He lept back as one of the men pounced at him wearing an orange jewel. Rask gave him a severe kick in the chest, causing the man to drop his weapon and picked up the sword, gave it a twirl and blocked the green jewelled man attack. Blades clashed as one by on the men fell to the ground until only Rask and the red jewelled man stood, the others watching from the floor. He let out a laugh and stated, “Do you really think that is all we are made of? Allow me to show you our true power. Nogard!” As soon as the words had left his mouth he ceased to be human. A tail sprang fro his back, shimmering ruby scales replaced skin and his cloak blended into his body. He was no longer man but a dragon. The beast towered above Rask and fire puffed from its nostrils. Rask turned and ran from the creature. He tripped and saw a snake had its slimy body around his ankles. It had a necklace like that of the men and a green jewel in it. He let out a gasp of surprise and looked up to see the dragon too had kept his wooden goblin. He turned as he heard a voice call “Mar!” and became a fierce-looking ram. Rask gasped once more and realised what the people were doing. Hoping dearly it would work he called out “Tac!” In an instant everything changed. His senses in creased rapidly until he could feel air being taken in and out of the snake’s nostrils , everything grew in size and he was aware of an extra limb running off his back. He was a cat. With his new found claws he scratched the snake’s body and ran as it recoiled. He could move much faster with four legs and lept strait over the rams back, a feat he didn’t think he could do as a human. He continued to run and swiftly squeezed himself under a dog’s soft underbelly and was about to thrust himself through two huge wooden doors when something grabbed his tail and yanked him back. He looked up to see a smug looking spider monkey with its small fist clutched on to the end of Rask’s tail. He gave a hiss of anger and started to scratch at the monkey’s face but it was too fast and leapt out of the way and the dragon walked in front of the cowering cat in his human form. He held his blade by his side and with a swift movement plunged it down into the feline’s direction. With his new reactions Rask managed to avoid the full blow but couldn’t escape a great slash down his blinking eye. The steel tore at the skin and Rask let out a great cry of pain. With new-found anger he leapt onto the man’s face and severally clawed at his until a great amount of blood drew from it and the cat flipped back of. He landed on all four feet and headed towards the door, keeping his bleeding eye closed. As he got closer he wished a great deal to be human again and instantly he was. He pushed open the doors with one hand, while clutching his eye with the other, and was surprised that none of the men’s hands had grabbed him by now. He turned to see them all surrounding the dragon man and didn’t stop for a better look. Outside was a desolate place. The ground was made of pinkish sand and scorched trees littered the area. The sky was a great black cloud and the only other thing there besides the chapel and the trees was a streaming black portal trapped under a stone archway. Thinking he’d better not take the risk of waiting around Rask ran into the portal and in a flash was gone. He didn’t remember muck of what happened next. He had somehow wounded up on the outskirts of Lufecarg, had been found by Horst and taken to Ephedra, his mother. The next mourning he told his story to Horst, Ephedra and the town mayor, all whom had been worried about his sudden disappearance in the night and they listened with great interest. No one knew who the twelve men or the chapel were or how they had come to learn about Rask and his necklace, not many other people knew about it as he always had it tucked safely under his top. Over the course of a year his life changed a lot. He trained more intensively with Horst to get his skills as good as they could be. He started to learn a few basic spells with his mother in case he ever needed them, he excelled in fire magic. It was a month before he could see through his eye again and a large scar was left in the place of the cut. He grasped his new found ability fairly quickly and soon only had to think about it to be a cat or human again. As the months passed his pupils gradually shortened and became slits, his ears grew points at the end and his personality gradually began to change. His mother read about a legendary tribe of people long ago called the werecats who has the great ability to turn into the small felines. Upon deciding that he was no longer human Rask took this name for his own kind and began to think about departure from the town. On his eighteenth birthday, a year after his experience at the chapel, he stood by the town gates for the last time and after saying his goodbyes to his family and friends he set off to see the world and find out who the strange twelve men were and what exactly the chapel was and where. |

Name: Jhans Frenn (Shaanz Fren)
Age: 49 Race: Panserbjørne [Singular - Panserbjørn] (Large armored bear with hands like man's.) Sex: Male Hair: White (I know that polar bear's fur is technically green. Bleh.) Eyes: Ice blue. Weight: 1,800 lbs (2,400 with armour on) Height 10.2 foot, nose to tail. 5.7 foot paw to spine. Theme music; Braveway Weapon: Teeth. Long, sharp, 3-inch predator teeth. Claws. Long. Predator'a claws. Jet black predator's claws. Firmly attacked to the bear's gauntlets are claw brackets -- made from an iron/titanium alloy. These have four eight-inch stylized claws each, blade sharpened to a lethal edge so that when swung in an arc or in a punch, Jhans' paw can easily tear through whatever meets it. Also: A Large, Runic, bear-king maul. Lump of ancient stone on a wooden rod which he slings over one shoulder. has the bear rune (Ice) scratched on the side, letting through the blue glow from within. Seal-skin is wrapped around the handle, and two long, thin threads tail off this. He keeps this on a seal-skin strap, slung across his back. Armor: Rusty-red armour. Made from a dull, brownish metal -- immensely strong and heavy meteoric iron, which is strengthened massively by being superheated when falling through the earth's atmosphere, and then cooled abruptly by being plunged into the arctic waters. Comes in plates down the arms, with large plates covering the back of the paws. Overlapping, dinner-plate sized armor covers his back, with a huge breastplate on the front. Leather belts tie the back and the front together. This armor is exposed to dents round the elbows, shoulders and neck -- dent his neck plates & his head will be jammed at a odd angle... forcing him to remove his neck armor. Removes his amour for stealth anyway. Well-oiled. Strengths: Jhans is immensely strong. He can bend sheets of iron in his hands. Armour. Very good defense. Is able to make any kind of thing with metal. He is very good at hunting seals - as you may expect. Has brute strength - an immense Polar bear. Great sense of smell. All polar bears have. Good swimmer... and the instinct of a mighty hunting animal. His thought patterns are estranged to humans, so he cannot be easily tricked. He fights ferociously and mercilessly. Weakness: Susceptible to heat. Fights best in a chest freezer -_-'. Normal room temperature is too much for him - fights outside whenever possible. Jhans is also slow, large and heavy, and expects his enemies to think like he does. Jhans has obtained a magic bracer which stops him from being affected by heat. Skills/Magic: A polar bear's instinct. Skilled in a kind of martial fighting with claws (Skraelyn). When he was guarding the prince, he was taught how to use a Runic hammer. This is an heirloom of the royal line - used to lead the soldiers into war. When it is swung, it leaves a blue trail in the air, off the runes -- which glow strangely, like candlelight through water. One rune on each side, like some kind of ancient dice. Jhans obtained this from the corpse of t prince -- he doesn't know its origins. It is just a stone on a stick, but the air after it cools amazingly. Swing in the pond before you, and you have ice. If you are hit with the rock, you get hit by a rock. you get hit by the trail, you get hit by Antarctica. He has the ice hammer and the insignia of his kingship around his neck. Ah... the symbol. He is (Was) the guard of the prince. He was loyal to the monarch. This symbol has a power over all the old king's subjects, and other kings alike. The whole of the northern world always is aware of the bear people. They ally themselves with whomever comes - and can be a warring species. The pendant reminds Jhans who he is, and what injustices have been done unto him. It has power over many -- especially those associated with the bears in some way. It holds influence -- it is only given to those in positions of utmost influence in the bear nations -- the strongest, perhaps, in the known world. Personality: Some what gruff - yet majestic in a rag-tag kind of way. He is understanding. He speaks with great sense. He treats his friends with great respect. He has trouble speaking of his past... He believes of valor and nobility. He has strong beliefs. He spends hours alone - and greets new people with an uncaring attitude. But it is sometimes necessary to bend the truth - 'You don't get points for playing fair.' He will shed blood simply and with no regret. He doesn't like saying things that will upset people... but sometimes he must do so. Life's like that. He feels that if a man (Bear) spots something wrong in the world - he should do something about it. It won't sort itself out. He takes things upon himself. The universe, he feels, is his responsibility. He may end up working himself to death working for what is right. He speaks in a low, rumbling but intelligent voice - capable of showing some expression - but not much. Polar bears don't go in for all that. Likes sushi. Deep. He prefers to contemplate in silence than blabber out loud. Appearance: Glossy, immense. (This is really the wrong idea) Polar bear - small by Panserbjørne standards - , rust-red overlapping plates form his armor, with a large, whole breast plate. He can stand on his hind legs, easily. His armor is characteristic - two large, arched, curved metal eyebrows arch over his eyes - while a coned muzzle can be attached during battle. Bright blue, intelligent eyes blaze at you. A large, sealskin cover encases the maul to stop the cold from penetrating. The armor has a pattern on it - of copper vein, with a steel rune on each plate. He is as human as a polar bear can get. Around his right foreleg, there is a temperature bracer. It looks like a scuffed silver ring, thick and large enough to fit comfortably around his leg. History: Svalbard, the arctic circle. Home of the armoured bear nations. The eighteen houses of bear living some scores of thousands strong. The house of Frenn: Dwindling. The last in line, with a she-bear from the house of Aawken had one son. As his parents died, Jhans Frenn -- last of the house of Frenn -- was sent to be initiated into the king's family group, to be nurtured and grow strong as to continue the line. So Jhans grew as a guard bear of Svalbard, he grew up in the same relative luxury as the prince. He almost lived the prince's life, as he was his personal guard and companion. It was unlikely that Inled, the prince, would ever get a sniff at the throne as he had two elder brothers. Humans came from far & wide to speak to the king -- Jhans learned much through sitting through the meetings, people so keen to hold friends with this sleeping power in the north. He was trained in combat, and went to his first war in his new armor -- which he forged himself over many months. (The same set as today - Panserbjørne keep the armor until the day they die - and then it is taken to the king's halls when the bear has been burned). It was an easy battle and a forgone conclusion to some foolish invaders, but both the king and his first two sons were overwhelmed with their foe's superior numbers on a surprise attack on the front flank. When Jhans returned from the war at 19, with his charge & Kilrn (The new crown prince), another bear opposed his rule. This offender was Fritjof. He was from the line of Theoder... the crown Theoder would take the throne if the King had no sons, or to look after the nation until the sons came of age. Fritjof was aging, and had had enough of waiting. He was... humanlike in his ways. Expressive, spiteful at times. He drank excessively, and had his foot brought to him by his housecarles. he was summoned, as head of the house of theoder to join the consul of bears -- who would decide what to do about crowning Inled. And then, one day, he saw his chance. Inled was dealing with a diseased freebear, who'd been found on the plains near the post-war encampment seeing the damage, Inled kindly and swiftly slit the bear's through. Fritjof saw this, and screamed murder. And the world fell from beneath their feet. Inled was sent away to the furthest reaches Fritjof could send him to, then the bear seized the throne, dismissing all the former royal consulates, and forming his own. And the finger of blame needed someone to point at. Jhans Frenn, guard of the prince -- there when the murder happened and who should have known better... he was exiled. Stripped of his position and sent to live on the fringe of the human world. He found himself alone in a despicable part of the world, far away form Svalbard where Fritjof turned the bears into an engine of war. He was fueled by unbearlike things -- greed, envy and lust for power. But the bears remained steadfastly obedient and loyal to him. It's something that's drummed in from the start -- power in numbers. Do not cause trouble. Do not be exiled. Together we are invincible, alone we are a target. Respect your elders. Over many years, the reports of a massive fortress being constructed reached Jhans ears -- and tales of another bear -- Inled, Jhans presumed, living alone on the eastern fringes of Svalbard's ice sheets. And so Jhans gave up what little he had -- tools he'd salvaged and finery he'd found when raking through the human rubbish pits -- to buy passage back to Svalbard. The sailors avoided him, and he was not offered a share of the meal of muton and venison. From there, he spent a whole year scanning the eastern ice sheets -- searching for the sight, or smell, of bear. These were formidable areas of land -- many a time Jhans nearly lost his life to a blizzard or crushed by a snowfall. And then he found the carcass. A rotting fist, gauntleted. The royal mark of the House of Clayton on the shipad. Jhans burnt the body -- which had been killed by a bear-bite to the back of the neck. He had died in combat, and not given his final rites. Anger burned within him. Jhans took the royal symbol and the Prince's ice-maul, and left the armor standing in a cave, having welded the joints still -- as is the custom. The hall of the true king, he thought. And now, with no hope of proving the true heir's innocence and restoring him to the throne, Jhasn wanted nothing more than to leave the country which had betrayed him and run south -- maybe to the fringes of ice to the furthest south of the world. He tried to leave many a time, but Fritjof rules ferociously, and the traders stopped coming to Svalbard -- there were no boats to escape from except those being constructed under the command of the new fortress of granite, blocking the way through to the bear lands from the south. Jhans hunted seal on the eastern fringe of Svalbard, smashing a hole in the ice and diving through -- searching for the silver, greasy flickering of tail or fin. Having spent a long time underwater looking for seal in the icy currents, he approached the hole he came in by -- a flickering mote of sunlight. He had dived further than he thought -- it was in desperation that he reached the surface, panting. And suddenly he was surrounded by humans, who leaped on him and burnt his flesh and shackled his claws and muzzled his maw. Then they pushed this sharp-smelling cloth before his nose, and the world ceased to make sense. He spend what felt like forever being dragged through the dark in a sack by a cart, followed by a period with the rocking of a boat, followed again by the rattlings of road travel. His face was muzzled and his limbs bound, he could not begin to fight back. The sunlight came three weeks later, he was tied to a wooden cross in a slave-arena. Some northern novelty, up for sale in the market of service. but they should have known better. He splintered the post, and massacred the guards -- running out into the dome. And Jhans found himself surrounded by warriors and people of every profession. After some exploration, he found the doorways in the dome lead to... every conceivable place. And as tales of spreading bear conquest spreading from the North, he slowly hatches a plan. Bears are loyal to their king, they don't care who the king is. Gather an army. Remove Fritjof. Essentially, waging war on his own kind. But he'll need money, and influence, and friends. And no-one's going to appear to help him. But the army of the bear nations is the most strictly-disciplined and ferocious in the world. They may have to, before this is over. Update; Grey. Jhans was distinctly against animals keeping other animals. Humans, who keep dog and mule - nymphs who farm fish. So, from when Jhans took the egg from a nest on the way back from the Altari mountain range (See Field Trip) - he swore that the falcon would be his equal and nothing less. Jhans climbed so high that his breath frosted on his fur and the stars shined at his back, despite it being day - and there, in a nest made of stones was an egg. It looked like it was made from marble, catching the light and shining it back like it was filled with a million tiny glisters of brilliance. Just a companion. Hmm. The bird perches nearby - tearing apart a vole. It is about a foot and a half tall, and a falcon - with golden eyes and a peppered grey-black clock of feathers. His wings fold out, seeming to double in breadth, and opened its curved beak. It calls out like a shrill echo, reflecting the call of some creature against a cold, stone wall. And so Grey flies up and circles Jhans, waiting for another prey. •Jhans is a member of the Roleplay Dominion. •Jhans is in possesion of a fine vial of Golden Elixer - obtained from Field Trip. Desciption here. •Jhans' place of abode in the human world is Sondossa -- where he works in the city watch. If you want to relate to this, you can see a description here. •Jhans was given a magic temperature bracer by Cadenza Madrigal, which stops him being affected by heat -- it keeps the air around him cool enough to be comfortable. Description: "This is a temperature bracer my sister Algretta invented before she turned her genius to lesser endeavors. I don't care if you think you need it or not--it'll keep you nice and cool, at your ideal body heat, and you'll find yourself grateful for it." •Kind Miss Altamira drew the big, bad bear himself! Re: Character List
Reposting cause I don't wanna go looking for them in the abyss of this thread... dam joke...
Name: Tuariv Knil Age: 19 Race: Hylian/unknown Sex: Male Hair: Brown, messy and uncombed/none Eyes: Blue with slit pupils Weight: 154 pounds to 200 pounds Height: varies from 5' 9'' to 7' 5'' Weapon: Two claymores, one at a time though. Claymores are well known as being deadly because of their strength and light weight, as well as not rusting. (real facts) First one is named the Leviathan. Which is strapped around his back, number two is made of pure crystal, shaped exactly like number one only stronger but it takes a lot of energy to weild, after training for so long though, not so much anymore. It's called The Hydra, brother to the Leviathan, this one is strapped at Tuariv hip. Other weapons are his fists and claws, his feet, his tail, and teeth. Armor: His only armor are his scales, though they are extremely durable and tough as steel. Strengths: Tuariv has heightened senses and superhuman strength. As a human he is much quicker but weaker, ninja like (realistic ninja). He knows how to disappear easily, and can hold himself in a hiding position, above a door for example or hanging from rafters, for a long time. Weakness: Changes often, from slow because of his weightyness in lizard form, to not so strong. Universaly harmed by poison, as a human he wears no armor so not much protection there. As a lizard his blood is cold, so ice will slow him down a lot. Skills/Magic: Twilight: Tuariv creates a bubble that grows in size and covers the immediate area in a bubble of twilight power, it is neutral in the elements and unstable. Its power can only be drawn off by Tuariv. Great Lizard Form: After a Twilight bubble is created Tuariv can utilize this power, it increases his height and muscle mass to double, and increases his stamina, strength, and speed and allows body part regrowth in case of loss. Lizard God Form: Requires immense amounts of power, but once utilized he becomes much stronger than his Great Lizard Form. Faster, stronger, much more deadly. Same as above only far, far better. Defense of the Chameleon: This allows Tuariv to completely blend into his surroundings perfectly, takes a few moments to complete. Heart Burn: Tuariv simply breathes fire for a couple seconds. Tuariv has abilities connected with the very life force of himself, able to heal himself and others, as well as slash away his enemies. Tuariv now has the ability to change in between his regular self, and his human self, at any time, as well as any part of his body. When in his lizard self he can utilize all of the above, when in his human self he has a control of time, but has trouble with reversing it. Also, he wears no armor as a human, but he is speedier. Appearance: Tuariv is a very imposing, he has a chameleon like head and a long tail, covered from head to toe in scales green in color. He also has claws on his hands and claws on his feet, his tail is around four feet long. He also has sharp teeth and a sort of long tongue, all that as a a lizard. In his human form he is mcuh shorter but still quite muscular, his clothes are long black and a black sleeveless shirt. But he keeps a small mask over his mouth and nose, his slit pupils stay the same no matter what however. He wears short boots, good for tough terrain. He keeps his claymores in a leather sheath he also wears a necklace in the shape of a sword which was given to him by his rival Kenjin. Personality: Tuariv isn't all that friendly overall, tending to stick to himself, not afraid to engage in conversation he may be quiet once in a while though. Usually mutters to himself when alone. He's become much more calm with meditation, but can still have a short fuse with fools. Biography: Tuariv has traveled across the land, meeting and fighting many great warriors of many different types. Born in the Village of Toaru he left it, but expected to return, he didn't. Instead he was pulled into the Twilight Realm and forced to learn to battle just to survive, and he did. Faced many strange enemies and beat them, hoping to one day to return. After a few months trapped he finally found a portal out, but was greeted by a most unwelcome foe, a shadow master named Kenjin. Tuariv fought this demon well and lasted a very long time against the demon, but he couldn't fight forever, that's why he lost. His will kept trying to fight but the body refused to go on any longer. Kenjin left him where he was, knowing that Tuariv would be able to heal and fight again. Tuariv did, but the two, now rivals, never did. Instead they strangely found themselves fighting together a couple times. But Tuariv was always out trying to kill Kenjin, even though he was an immortal. A while later he entered into a quest to save the King of Hyrules brother from a neighboring regions fortress, there he was captured and experimented on, when it was done he became a whole different person, Viraut. He killed the lead man within a minute out of pure hatred, his memory had been lost. When Viraut left he began traveling again, searching for a way to reclaim his lost mind, and an answer came in the form of a exclusive training place, the “Dome”. It was in the Dome that he trained under a teacher named Aurora, becoming more and more powerful through what she called lessons. A while later he returned to his previous form, and still fought and traveled while still living at the Dome. One day he and a group of people arrived upon a tower, guarded by a mysterious god. At the very top he sacrificed himself after being mortally wounded, and disappeared. He didn't die however, he lived for what felt like years to him, and he trained. In his pocket stayed a secret key he used in the tower earlier, and that is how he escaped. Name: Zapri, The Gear Alchemist. Age: 15 Race: Human Sex: Male Hair: Brown, long and messy Eyes: Blue Weight: 156 pounds Height: 5' 8' Weapon: Any he can think of, projectile things are harder though. Armor: None. Strengths: Zapri is capable of alchemy which is a science in which one can deconstruct, then reconstruct them into something new. Such as dirt, refined much, much harder into a dagger. Weakness: Initially wears no armor, just simple clothes. Isn't to good at fighting directly against a person, such as sword to sword and such. Plus not to good with any specific weapon mainly because using weapons is not what he trains in. Skills/Magic: Zapri is one capable of using Alchemy, which is actually a science, not a magic. Utilizing it he can change almost anything, such as water into ice, or create a weapon out of the rocks beneath him. He simply claps his hands together and presses his hands to the ground, object, ect. For larger scale things however, a circle is required. Varying from small- ![]() To much larger and more complicated- ![]() So Zapri always carries chalk and a swiss army knife to draw on different things just in case. If an enemy is not of human flesh then he can transmute them. Appearance: Zapri isn't specially clad in any special garments, instead wearing simple sweats, short cut boots and a regular t-shirt topped off by a long fleece. His brown hair is only around three inches long, usually uncombed. A pocketwatch hangs from his belt into his pocket, with a transumtation circle carved on. Personality: Zapri tends to be a real smartass, constantly talking back to everyone, when he's talked to. When not in conversation however, he'll often be quiet, mainly because random people don't just talk to him out of nowhere, and quite a few people hate alchemists is a reason too. If he has to fight then he'll be serious, but may taunt. Though Zapri doesn't like to just fight, and hates killing. Biography: Zapri was born and raised in Central City, the main Headquarters for all alchemists and government. Usually war was going on so Zapri was forced to learn how to use alchemy seeing as how it was the best way for one to survive. It was a hard time because of many warmongerers and the rumored humonculus were running about. After a year of studying the science he was ready to become a State Alchemist. Zapri worked his way through the trials that were required to prove you were capable enough to be a true alchemist. Unfortuantly Zapri wasn't one of the few who passed that year. Another year passed after that, not a week going by without Zapri reading a book on alchemy and trying to be better. When the next chance came for him to tryout, he did, and passed by impressing the judges with his own special move, by creating a working windup clock out of nothing but refined dirt. For this he was given the second name, Gear Alchemist. Zapri was given an offcial State Alchemist pocketwatch, and now carries out order for the governement. Lately however the war has yet to cease, with such problems as even the president being a homunculus, warmongerers left and right, and massive groups of suits of armors appearing out of nowhere. For this reason Zapri has been laying low as of late, though still fufilling (sp?) his duties, but staying out of the fighting best he can. This however still threatens his staying a State Alchemist. Product I.D.: Zero Class- MZ-15 Social Name: Loki Age: 1 Race: Reploid Sex: Male Hair: Long brown Eyes: Green Weight: 237 lbs. Height: 5' 7'' Weapon: Buster- The basic weapon of both Reploids and Mavericks. Both of Lokis hands can be drawn into his arms and then shoot a mild, small, ball of energy. They can be overheated from constant continuess use in which case, recharging their system can take up to two minutes, because of this he'll usually just use one at a time. The busters can be purposly overheated to shoot a larger blast, but this puts recharge time to five minutes. Energy Sabre: A sword weapon made up mainly of simple energy, wielded like any other regular sword. It is stored as just a simple hilt, but when used the sword will eject out of it. Armor: Heavy, stainless, titainium. Basicly his own skin, so he will not often have any of it off. Strengths: Loki, if you couldn't tell, is a robot. He is fairly strong, but not super strong. His reflexes are quick, and movement is extremely tricky, allowing him to first move one way, then another within a couple seconds. On the bottom of his soles he can eject small spikes, these are not often used for battle if ever, main purpose is for slippery conditions. Lokis visibility is top notch and can see in infarred, and night vision. And as a must, he is his own repair man and has a couple tools stored in secret compartments. Weakness: If a piece of his armor is knocked off, then a powerful surge to his skeleton will fry his core. As a backup however, rubber flaps will cut off his backup power holding area. This is not to much though, at least to battle, so Loki must escape to recharge himself. He also can't swim. As well, if his armor is somehow penetrated, a direct cut into his skeleton would great damage him. Skills/Magic: Weapon Snatch: When Loki defeats an enemy he can gain an attack used by it. (robot enemies only) Personality: Cool, near emotionless, and doesn't like to be interupted. He will show what is described as "kindness" however, though he just tends to do whatever he likes. Although a Reploid he almost considers himself neither that nor a Maverick, for both are just names the other uses for the opposites. For good to evil is evil, and evil to good, is evil. But the groups see what they're doing is good. Appearance: ![]() ![]() If I made it bigger it would just blur up, better if you zoom in on it for yourself. History: The fake X has been defeated by Zero and he has disappeared for now, the Reploid Resistance is growing in power with a guy named Elpizo. Zero however has been marked as the strongest Reploid by many, and so an attempt was made to make copies of him while he is gone. Not the smartest idea. And so a small factory was made where careful design was calculated, and parts created. A robot dubbed Zero 2 was made, no problems. Then came more production of these Zero copies. After a while there were no problems what so ever, but later they slowly turned rogue. MZ-15 was one of the last made, and when programmed knew immediatly what the problem was, so on his own, with no orders to do so, he destroyed all production of the Zero 2s. Still though there were many, many left, it had almost been a mass production. Loki is currently the only copy that isn't rogue, because of this he is still being used, but mainly just hunts the remaining copies. So far he has found and eliminated over one hundred and thirty, unfortuantly though, the records leftover from the factory say there was over five hundred.

Re: Character List
Check it! She's FINALLY approved!!!
Name: Anth'dra Keldna Sotor Age: 654 (due to race) Race: Kanta'ien Sex: Female Hair: Long blonde and is always hanging down Eyes: Blue Height: 6"10' (they are tall like elves) Weight: 148 lbs Weapon: Various. Starts out with bow and sword. Sword name: Hara'th Naka (Savior's Grace)-Her blade, Hara'th Naka, was forged by the best smith in the city, and like all Kanta'ien weaponry, is indestructable and bound by destiny. Since it is a Kanta'ien sword, it has mystical powers and can accquire the elements. The elements are 8 special talismans that are the heart of creation. For example, if say the Fire Element shattered (impossible), fire would never exist again. Anyone who has an element has complete control over that force, for example, if you have the Water Element, you can control any water you come across. However, it takes many long months of training for anyone who does not have some control at first to perfect it. To obtain an element, she must go to the sanctuary where that element is kept and rid it of the evil inside. After this, she must face the test of the guardian god/goddess of the element. Once she accquires the talisman (physical embodiment of the element), her sword will be imbued with the mystic light of the element, awakening the power of that element. Bow name: Can'dour Mourna (Holy Protector)-it can fire arrows with great speed and precision. It is specially designed so that only she or someone she allows can wield it. Others are burned when they touch it. Like her sword, it was made by the best fletcher in the city, and cannot break. If she loses it, she can make it reappear by reaching out with her mind. Armor: Kanta'ien grade armor-Mourna Anthara (Heavenly Protection). It is golden and is of medium strength. It covers all of her body except her head, lower chest, elbows, and knees. It has many mystical designs and runes carved into it. It cannot be removed by anyone except herself. Strengths: Is very fast like all Kanta'ien, can use many different tactics and mystical powers, and is able to control the elements she has accquired in her sword. Is very fast with a bow and is a very skilled marksman. As a child, she was educated in the ancient arts of magic, and therefore is spiritually stronger than average Kanta'ien warriors. She was taught fighting techniques by her father, the ruler of the Court. He is the best fighter, and therefore she is a bit more advanced in her skills. What she lacks in attack power she makes up for in speed. She can land enough weak attacks to surpass the damage done by a single strong blow. She also makes up for her low defense this way. She is fast enough to avoid damage and therefore is just as good as a strong person able to take many hits. Weaknesses: She is not extremely strong, and can not sustain a lot of damage. She can easily be killed if someone breaks through her defenses and stabs an unprotected part of her body. Her main weaknesses are basically a low defense and low attack power. Her armor helps a little but not much. Skills: Spirit Guard: Creates a magical shield that absorbs damage. However this is only temporary and it takes a large toll on her mind as she must hold her concentration to keep it up. Kanta'ien Grace: Can transfer some of her mental stamina or life force to another target. As a result, she will become weaker because she directly transfers it. Wrath of the Spirits:charges up a shot with the elements Fire, Water, Thunder, and Earth that counter-act each other, making a deadly blast. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of mental stamina, and therefore she has to train for a long time before being able to use it without blacking out. Saving Light: Revives dead people (cannot revive if they have been dead for over 4 hours) but weakens her because it transfers some of her life force to the target. Transfer is indirect. Holy Light: Heals a person by transferring some of her life force, but is not as much of a strain as revival. Transfer is indirect. Appearance: She has beautiful long blonde hair which she allows to flow back, and captivating blue eyes. She looks like she could be in her 30's in a human perspective. She wears golden Kanta'ien grade armor that covers her legs, arms, and chest. She wears no helmet. At first glance she looks like a woman from a king's personal protection force. Her skin is of a beautiful pale complexion, and she could send a man to his knees with her beauty. From closer up, she appears to be an angel because she is so beautiful. On her back is her bow and quiver which are embroidered with gold designs. At her right hip is her blade which has a golden handle and a silver sheath. Despite the beauty, if you saw her coming towards you in a battle, you'd either run the opposite the direction or drop your weapons and surrender. In battle, her face appears to show complete hatred, although she doesn't feel this way. Personality: She is very serious and is not even slightly laid-back. She is, however, very bright and fun to be with. She always makes others feel happy when she is around. She will never be rude to anyone or hurt someone's feelings. Mostly she is quiet and does what she is told, but in a battle she will take charge if the person commanding is incompetent or falls. If this happens, she will act as though she was always in charge, and return to normal after the end of the battle. Bio: Anth'dra, the fourth descendant of Handara, lord of Mienthro Court. Born in 234 A.D., she has live in Mienthro Court as a princess for all of her life, and Kanta'ien can live for thousands of years. But she is 654 years old and is considered to still be quite young. She is travelling from home because the elders have seen of the evil presence, and have assigned her to the task of joining the Holy Saviors as the Kanta'ien race representative, as the procephy states that: "When all peace begins to shatter, When all the alliances begin to scatter, An evil shall arise to threaten all, And all shall stand together, Or all the world will fall." What it means is that when everyone is becoming hostile towards each other, and distrust arises, an evil power so great that it threatens all existence will arise again. It says that all races that still worship Tomuhaga must ally with each other or else everyone will perish. She was chosen because she is the best fighter. She has a familiar:a small butterfly that always follows her. She can talk to it, and can send messages back to the Court by telling it what to send, then having it return. As a child, her family was normal, but they always trained her in the ways of the fighter, so they were very strict. Growing up was like going through school, as she was always learning new things. She is very intelligent from all her years of education, and can see through lies and deception. She was born with a natural sense of justice which attributed to her studies. She could EASILY take down any normal person in less than 2 seconds, but she is a Kanta'ien and is therefore principled and faithful in Tomuhaga. Life is NEVER expendable! She had no brothers or sisters, and never had time for friends, as she was always deep in her studies. She is not easygoing because of her training and studying. She dislikes evil, and likes justice and life. She treats all others with respect. She has considered death, and it does not scare her because she knows that if she is to die then she cannot stop it and that she has finished her duties in this world. Her only dream is to help to create peace once again and to return home to quietly live out the rest of her life. Now for the BIO part of the bio. *rolls eyes* Anth'dra is a Kanta'ien. She was born in Mienthro Court in 234 A.D. to the ruler Handara III. The first ruler was Handara I, who founded the kingdom. She is the first princess, and will one day be the first queen to have descended from the royal line. At a very young age, the elders of the village foresaw that she was destined to be the Kanta'ien representative in the united force called the Holy Saviors. Her parents immediately began educating her in combat, magic, and other studies such as her history. She was always studying and never had friends. She is very disciplined and will do what she is told if it is not bad. Being a Kanta'ien, she has a sense of justice and righteousness. She can tell right from wrong even when right seems wrong and wrong seems right. She will never hurt another without reason, and she will always try to find a peaceful solution. Combat is her last resort with others. She can make others feel good and is always conscientious of others and their emotions. She is a powerful ally and an even better friend. |

Re: Character List
Name: Bengt Windsor
Age: 26 Race: Half-Hyrulian Sex: Male Hair: Short, light blond hair. Generally he has a messy look to his hair. Eyes: Dark blue, cerulean Weight: 250 lbs. Height: 6'5" Clothing: Mostly wears just dark brown pants in the summer and goes shirtless. During the colder months he puts on a dirty white tunic that he keeps in his saddle bag. Weapons: His horse can be used as a weapon but he has also been given power by Din of great power. Strengths: He is very strong and can lift things and throw them extremely far with incredible aim. He also has almost a human body armor that was given to him by Din where his muscles are harder then steel. He is much more comfortable in large, outside spaces. He is also very, very fast on his feet and can run faster then most horses other then his own. Weakness: Any magic of any kind. His armor can stop physical blows but magic cannot be stopped. Because he was bestowed magic by Din, the fire god, water can weaken him but not much. Also, because he is human, his emotions can often get in the way of what he is doing and making him sad, unhappy, or poignant in anyway can make him weaker. He’s also not very bright and doesn’t have much courage but when he wants something he will use anything to get it. Skills/Magic: His muscles are magical armor that was given to him by the goddess, Din. He was also given a few magical powers: Blazing Sky: He can light up the air around someone setting them on fire if he is angry enough. Inferno: Puts up a small fire shield around him that causes some water, ice, and other fire magic to be temporarily disabled. Can only be up for a few seconds and can only be used twice without having to rest or lay down for a while. Fire Sight: Can see in infrared vision in his right eye when his left is closed. Makes it hard for hot blooded animals to hide from him. Personality: Can be very loud and rambunctious and is usually the crazy person in the crowd. He likes to have fun and has a very good sense of humor. He also loves eating and working out whenever he can, although his strength can never go away because it was given to him but he likes the feeling. He can be quiet though and has a hair trigger of getting sad or unhappy whenever someone brings up his childhood. Appearance: Bengt is a tall man and has a very built body. When people look at him he is actually very inviting and puts off a warm and happy atmosphere around himself. Because he is tall he can be somewhat imposing but his happy-go-lucky nature generally gets rid of that feeling. Bengt has a very handsome face, which is framed by a blond goatee and short blond hair that falls down to his eyebrows. He also never wears shoes, even during the winter when it snows. He also has a horse that he brings everywhere with him named Tille. She’s a black mare with a small white patch inbetween her eyes. She was given to Bengt after his father died. Biography: Bengt was born in a small village in between Hyrule and Holodrum. His mother was a human from Holodrum and his father was a Hylian from Hyrule. His father was a temporary king of Hyrule during the time Ganon was destroyed and Hyrule was being rebuilt but he was soon over thrown by the original royal family and had to give up his thrown. He then left Hyrule establishing a small village a few hundred miles away. He would sometimes journey over to Holodrum to get some supplies and at the general store he met Bengt’s mother. He asked her for her hand in marriage after a few visits and had Bengt only a few months later. As the village grows Bengt grows with it. The village becomes a bustling town but Bengt becomes a small, weak, and generally powerless young man. He is sent to the rebuilt Hyrule when he is 18 years old by his Father to see if he can become a soldier for the Hylian army. Unfortunately, he is rejected because of his small, feeble stature. As he returned home, dreading his father’s reaction, he stops by a small temple to the goddess, Din, to pray. He kneels upon the altar and asks Din for power, and strength so he can never be rejected anymore. He continues praying and leaves the temple and continues walking home. When he reaches half way there he suddenly feels a jolt of power flow through him. He suddenly feels frozen in time and feels as muscles start to develop over his body and his face matures, as does the rest of his body. He is surprised and very thankful. He stops by the side of the road to pray to Din for thanks and continues walk getting sideward glances from other travelers. As he continues walking home, now happy and exited to show his father, he makes a promise to himself that he will only use this power for good and not evil. When he gets home he is greeted by his father who almost doesn’t recognize him but when Bengt tells his story his father is overjoyed and welcomes him home. He continues living happily with his parents until on day his father dies of old age and the village is left in his hands. Later on that year his mother also passed on so Bengt decided he would get a wife. From when he was very little he had know a girl who was the daughter of a friend of his father’s. Her name was Isel. From when he turned 14 years-old he fell in love with her but because of his unattractive body Isel never showed any intrest. But, when he came back from his trip when he was 18 Isel instantly fell in love with him. When his mother died he approached Isel for marrage and she quickly said yes. Soon Isel moved in with Bengt and only after a year they had a baby boy named Jules. Now Bengt, Isel, and Jules live happily in their village as Bengt protects it from the dangers of the outside world. |
