Name: Hanshin Daimyou (Pronunciation: hahn-sheen Die-moo-yoh)
Age: 26
Race: Human (thinks of himself as Demigod)
Sex: Male
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Neon Green
Height: 6 ft 3
Weight: 200 lbs
Side: Fights not for the works of righteousness, or for the works of evil; he is a loner that belongs to no one.
Weapon: Six foot long Masamune named Gunshin (Pronunciation: goon-sheen), which means War God in his native tongue, Japanese. When he rushes into battle upon his white stallion, he unsheathes the blade from the sheath tied on his back and charges in, but when he reaches the battlefield, he quickly sheathes it and pulls out another, shorter Masamune named Chigatana. This is his primary weapon of choice. Although, when he faces an obscenely tough opponent, he will unsheathe the Gunshin and use it against his foes.
Armor: The Aura that emits from Hanshin (see history) is one of great power, and with that aura surrounding him, normal civilians and such cannot penetrate it.
Strengths: Fighting against large quantities of warriors at once (yes, that IS a strength), using the power given to him by the Demonic Warrior, Naoru (See history if your wondering why he accepted something from an evil guy), attacking full force.
Weakness: Aim, Weak spot on his upper-left back, Light Magic, Fast attacks.
Skills/Magic: (see list below)
1. Radius: In this attack, Hanshin takes the Chigatana and swings it up and down forcefully, then he swings it from side to side in the same fashion, finishing it off with a swift spin attack.
2. Void: In this attack, Hanshin ironically steps back away from his foes quickly, and waits for them to rush. When they do, Hanshin takes the Chigatana and jumps into the air, spinning the sword as he does so. When he reaches the peak of his jump, the Chigatana's speed has increased with Centripetal Force, and begins to create a suck hole. Using his free hand, Hanshin fires a large beam at his foes that are on the ground, sending them into the air as he falls to the ground. Then, if his timing was right, his enimies are sucked into the "fan" of the Chigatana and struck viscously by the sword's sharp edge.
3. Hellfire Chorus: In this attack, Hanshin rushes in on his opponent and lashes out with multiple strikes, then he instantly freezes. As in any case, his opponent takes this opportunity to strike him, normally hitting him over if not sending him a few feet away. This is all part of Hanshin's plan, in which he looks at his foe deviously as a sea of fire encircles them. Then, he springs up from his spot and jumps into the air above the flame circle that he created around his opponent and throws down..... Papayas! (

) In their shocked state, Hanshin's opponent doesn't understand why he threw down papayas of all things, but, when Hanshin lands, he snaps his finger instantly, causing the flames to move in. To make matters worse for his opponent, when the flames touch said papayas, they erupt in a fiery explosion, causing double the pain!
4. Spirit of Gunshin: (Strongest attack to date) In this attack, Hanshin raises his Chigatana and thrusts it down upon his opponent. Then, he sheathes the sword and the aura (see history) surrounding him glows intense. At this moment, he reaches behind him and unsheathes his six foot long Masamune, the Gunshin. Then, simply put, he glows in many dark shades of assorted colors and attacks his foe wildly with his ultimate weapon; each strike more powerful than the last.
Personality: Hanshin is a man of many facets, and desires two major things: To discover more about himself, and to conquer his enemies, the Kyô Army. He usually keeps a neutral face while in battle, but despite that, he is very comedic off the battlefield.
Appearance: There wasn't much I could describe him by, seeing as he's a difficult character to do so with. The closest thing I could link him to would be
Keiji Maeda of Samurai Warriors. (Just substitute Keiji's spear for Hanshin's Gunshin.)
History: Hanshin was born into the family of Miyato Daimyou, leader of the Daimyou clan. This clan had already conquered much of his world (which ironically isn’t Earth, seeing as they like to speak Japanese) so naturally, this caused Hanshin to be raised to fight. At the young age of thirteen, the boy was given a sword, and a mission to follow it. This mission would prove to be the turning point of his life: He was to attack Miiazu Castle and storm up the stronghold to confront Tokumaru Kyô, the son of Khayoro Kyô, who was at the time General of the Kyô Army.
The siege went perfectly, and Hanshin ascended Miiazu’s castle with great morale. But, when he reached the top and confronted Tokumaru, who was at the same age as Hanshin himself, they engaged in conversation as opposed to battle.
“Lord Hanshin.” Said the thirteen year old Tokumaru calmly. “I know why you have come here. You seek my head, is that not the reason?” Hanshin nodded. “Alright.” continued Tokumaru. “I must tell you something before we fight. Feuds are not the answer. Our clans have been fighting for years, but we are the generation to change that! Join me and unite our clans into one singular force!”
Hanshin grunted incredulously. “Words like your are pathetic. You think you seek the optimist path, yet, can you really call it optimistic? If our clans joined, more feuds would start. Friendly fire would break out. I won’t have my people killed by you and your pathetic clan.” At that moment, he unsheathed his sword. “Your head is mine!”

At the end of that day, Hanshin had wounded Tokumaru badly, and fled from the castle as to avoid retribution.
Within the next few years, Hanshin had his sword remade by the famous Blacksmith, Rio Cerberus. It was then that Hanshin acquired the Gunshin. But this was not the fearsome Masamune that everyone would come to fear in the near future.
After Hanshin had celebrated his nineteenth birthday, his father, Miyato, fell ill and died. This put Hanshin in control of the entire Daimyou Army. In his memories of Tokumaru, he realized that the wound he had inflicted upon the Kyô Lord would not have killed him, and so, he plotted an attack on Miiazu Castle once more, to finish the job.
On the eve of the attack, Hanshin was confronted by a cloaked man bearing a glowing sword. This man would turn out to be the second turning point in Hanshin’s life…
“My boy,” the cloaked man said. “You seek to destroy Kyô, do you not?”
Hanshin looked at the man in suspicion. “Remove your cloak, and I might answer…”
With a chuckle, the man removed the hood of his cloak, revealing crimson red irises within his eyes. “I am Naoru Aurashino, Demonic Warrior. Lord Tokumaru posses a piece of something I need. Will you assist me, young one?”
Hanshin looked into the cold, red eyes of Naoru; he knew this man was evil. “Wh, what will I get from this venture?” He said, stuttering under a subliminal fear of this strange Demon Warrior.
Naoru held his sword up to his face. “Not only will you conquer the land, your power will also be increased, making your resolve…… absolute. But, Tokumaru is not one to take lightly, as he has gained power over these years. Only with my strength combined with your will you be able to defeat him.”
Hanshin’s mind raced. Before he could use his good sense to say no, the primal fighter within him, seeking absolute power, spoke for the warrior. “Y, yes. I will do as you say.” Hanshin said, cursing beneath his breath at the decision he had made.
Without words, Naoru summoned the power of his sword and fired it at Hanshin, causing the late-teenaged samurai to fall to the ground. “Now…” said Naoru. “You have been enchanted with the powers of the Iyxirus, blade of Hellfire. Your powers have been enhanced tenfold.” He then paused. “But be cautious. If Tokumaru’s Sword is to pierce your skin, the shock could kill you, for the powers of his blade and mine are polar opposites. Now go. Bring me Tokumaru’s head, and his sword.” And with that. Naoru disappeared unto the darkness.

Hanshin lay on the ground, motionless. Everything made sense to him now. With this power, he could conquer any foe, not just Tokumaru. These Demonic Energies within him were trying to convert him into being an evil soul, but he fought them off, while still keeping the power……… and his sanity. But, much to his dismay, a dark aura constantly surrounded him. But, much
not to his dismay, his Gunshin had increased in size, and was now six feet long.
“Th, these powers…” said Hanshin slowly as he rose to his feet and walked into his tent. “I could never slay the honorable Tokumaru like this…” He fell upon his bed, and in his last breath of consciousness, muttered, “There… there must be………… another way…”

For the rest of his life, Hanshin would be cursed with the demonic powers that Naoru had given him. But he swore on the Gods’ name that until he could find a different power, he would not kill Tokumaru. And to this day, he searches the land, waiting for headway towards a righteous path…
