Weapon: Secured upon his right hip is a disturbingly-sharp, long, intricately designed sickle that is attached to a chain at the bottom of the hilt. This weapon was crafted by the most hated demon in the Abyss. It was made with a substance known as Venuc, extracted from large boulders from the ocean shores of the Southern Abyss. The leather wrappings of the handle are dyed crimson from the blood of his countless victims, and the blade is kept spotlessly clean, allowing one to see themselves in the gunmetal-gray of the scythe. Along the outer curve of the blade there are elegant engravings deeply cut into the metal at such an angle that the blood spilled upon the blade sinks into the pits, as if the blade is attempting to quench a thirst.
Armor: He is able to summon a pair of large, black, and very thickly feathered wings that have a span of about 12 feet. The process of them ripping open his skin and surfacing is painful, but is worth it seeing as they are of great use. His wings could be considered armor because if in a fight there was someone who could throw a flurry of weapons, or a magic attack that sent out a torrent of matter, the wings would be there to block it.
When outside, Sheeroo wears a long, black, heavy cloak that is similar to Knives, and made out of the same material, but more thick to last through intense weather. Like the cloak that he made for Knives, it is made out of the silk of a rare abyssal spider, and also has several souls fused into it to ensure its durability. Arrows, swords, or even bullets cannot penetrate the cloak, and even time seems to be unable to touch it.
Strengths: Fear. He has the upper hand in battles when he has his opponent scared out of their wits. When he brings fear into the game, it is easier to bend people to his will, which gives him more power over his enemy. He has the tendency to do things to intimidate his opponents, for instance, in one fight he willed demented illusions of himself to appear and distract his enemy. Sheeroo has been desensitized so any possible gore will not affect him.
The most disturbing thing that he and his sister have in common is their ability to turn pain into power, and perhaps even enjoy it. It could be called masochism, or it could be called insanity; either way, it permits him to tolerate large amounts of pain without seeming to care, or even show that he’s in pain.
Weaknesses: Sadly, his biggest weakness is his sister. Sheeroo tended to put himself between his Father and Knives during their younger years, and as a result he has scars on his eye and cheek, but he has yet to regret such a move. He is only half-demon, and while his power is not as great as Knives’, he has the knowledge and the tactical skills to make up for it.
Since he is of Abyssal Raven blood, it is necessary for him to feed off of the souls of the dead not only for nourishment, but to retain his powers. If he is deprived of this supernatural energy for extended periods of time he enters a sickened state, in which it is possible that he may fall into a deep coma. This has never happened, and to keep it from happening he goes on normal bouts to reap more souls to keep a fresh supply.
In battle he tends to block out every other primal instinct other than killing his opponent. This can render him vulnerable in some aspects due to his attention being only on one thing rather than the other things he should be focusing on, as in evading attacks to save himself some pain and healing. His apathy toward pain causes him to ignore when he is hit and drive through everything else to his opponent, no matter the cost.
Fear Storm – His greatest power, and the least used, the Fear Storm is a once in a lifetime experience—quite literally for his enemies. The Fear Storm is an actual storm, but what falls from the sky isn’t water, but blood. Gallons, and gallons of it. During the Fear Storm the things that people fear the most come to life. They are material, and able to harm, if not kill their bearer. Sheeroo himself has a fear to face each and every time the storm is summoned, and escapes with but a thread of his life every time. The Fear Storm uses not only Sheeroo’s life force but also the life force of the environment and of the specific targets and any life forms in the surrounding area.
Razor Wires – Much like Knives’ ability to summon Armegedon and morph it into a solid substance, Sheeroo has an assortment of wires stored in the inner pockets of his jacket. Using telekinesis and Shadow Magic, he is able to make the metals expand and control their movement. When the wires are loose, they are still razor sharp, but when the wires are taut simply bumping into a wire could trigger the rest and slice a person in half. The metals were forged by none other than Sheeroo himself, and out of metals found deep within the Eastern Mountains of the Abyss.
Macabre Illusions - Using shadow magic which both Knives and Sheeroo have the ability to wield, he is able to conjure up grotesque illusions to both disturb and distract his target. The illusions can range from scents and sounds to images and sensations, and are used to toy with his opponent’s mind.
Soul Extraction/Absorption – The ability to extract the soul from a person and absorb it is a trait unique to his race of Abyssal Demon. For the process to work properly the victim is to be seduced into a state of security and stillness. From there Sheeroo is able to urge out their spirit, and either compact it or absorb it for sustenance. The process is unbearably painful but depending on the strength of the victim, the weaker they are the more paralysis sets in and renders them unable to move, much less speak. It also depends on how far they were drawn away from their conscious minds and more into the trance-like state Sheeroo is able to put people into.
Soul Gaze – Soul gaze is another unique racial trait that grants Sheeroo the ability to gaze into a person’s soul. He is able to delve as deep into the person as he wishes once he is either granted entry or has forced his way in, and can access memories that even the host has forgotten. The purpose of the Soul Gaze is to gather information on his target, to use for such things as illusions, bring up guilt to cause great emotional distress, or to simply surprise them by knowing more than a stranger should.
Soul Divulsion – Using Soul Gaze: Once he has ventured deep into a person’s soul, he has the ability to part the soul from the body and manifest it in the form of a “ghoul.” The Ghoul is no different than the body, except for the fact that their normal coloring disappears and is replaced with the color of their aura. Also, the Ghoul, or separated soul is not fully transparent but ominously glowing their unique color. The body can be pronounced “dead” but is revitalized once the soul is returned to the body.
Master Puppeteer – Using Soul Gaze: When Sheeroo has infiltrated his target’s soul to the point of control, he is able to control the person’s body depending on their mental barriers, and any other defense mechanisms their soul might have. Their body, and even their speech can be manipulated. If the person has a strong enough will to break through his control and speak they could most likely push him out of their mind, but so far that has never happened. After a person is released from Sheeroo’s control they are weak, and it takes a bit of time depending on their stamina to recover.
Flight – Due to his mother being a full-blooded raven empress, he inherited a large pair of wings with which he is able to fly with.
Shadow Merging - With the inherited power of his Grandfather, he is able to meld into shadows, whether it is the shadow of a demon, or a human, any being's shadow. He is also able to transport through a locked on aura's shadow, and appear back to back with the being. Another way of using this skill is staying within a being's shadow--a way of following--but not actually having to move.
Personality: At a glance Sheeroo would appear much like Knives, calm, quiet, and constantly in thought. Instead of the stoic expression that his sister prefers to wear, he wears a slight smirk on his pale, similarly shaped lips. When it comes to socializing he is a people person, completely unafraid of showing what he is, even to humans. This earns him quite a bit of ruckus, but he deals with it accordingly. He finds the pain of others amusing, but would have to seeing as he has to kill to survive—constantly. Around complete strangers depending on the situation, Sheeroo would either be reserved, or trying to draw the other person into conversation to try and mess with them, because it’s what he enjoys doing. He gets a feeling of superiority from scaring people, not to mention he’s good at it.
When in battle he is completely ruthless, not taking into consideration the other person’s physical or mental state. He will not stop, or be merciful in any way, shape, or form if he is fully intent on killing his opponent. Sheeroo is the type of person that is extremely tactical. Before a fight even starts, the gears in his head are working out what he can and can’t do, and the possible outcomes. What he enjoys the most in fights is playing mind games with people and getting reactions. If there is some sort of obstacle in his way, there is no doubt that he will find a way to get passed it, even if it means mass killings—it just means more fresh souls for him.
Around his sister, Knives, one could say that he becomes a different person. His facial expression and voice softens, and he feels the need to constantly be close to her. He is very affectionate around her, and urges her to return it. Although she didn’t receive a lot of affection during her childhood, she is surprisingly loving around Sheeroo. There is no doubt that Sheeroo would give up his life on a whim for his little sister, and has put his life on the line plenty of times in the past by putting himself between her and his father during their fights.
Biography: His mother was the Empress of the Raven Clan, and his father the Overlord of the Abyss. Due to his Father being half-demon and his Mother being full, he ended up inheriting his Fathers’ half-blood, and looks, and his Mother’s grace and knowledge. He was also graced with the ability of flight, but by painful means. Since he was the first son of the Overlord he was kept, but his father cast him from him, and would have almost nothing to do with him. Eclipse, who was the royal advisor of his father, ended up taking care of Sheeroo, mentoring him, and training him in the art of Shadow Magic. Once Knives was born from a different mother, and also rejected by his father he didn’t feel as alone, and felt the need to be as close as possible with his sister. He gave her all the affection she never received from their father, nor had the chance to receive from her late mother. He watched her grow, seeing the massive potential and resenting their father more and more as years passed. How dare he treat her like that? She was full-blooded, and far more deserving of the throne than he.
Not but a week before his sister's 14th birthday, Sheeroo was banished from the Kingdom. His Father wanted to make sure that he would not interfere with the Awakening Ceremony, or the betrayal that would follow. After he was expulsed from the realm, he began plotting his father’s demise. He gathered followers, having them range from first to third class demons, and training them in the art of ruthlessness, for that would be the only way to get through the guards of the palace of his homeland. Sheeroo? He would be the one to kill his father. There was no doubt about it. The man—no, the monster deserved to die. He vowed to pass over any possible hurdles fate might throw at him, and kill his father with his own two hands.
Not having seen his sister in approximately 6 years has driven him deep into a pit of depression, in which he has had irrational fits of anger and a short fuse on his temper. He learned of his sister’s betrayal from a letter that a good friend sent him by means of magic-transportation, and knows that she is no longer home, but out on her own somewhere. It added another goal to his checklist: Give Knives her long awaited throne and reside there with her, through anything and everything.
He has promised to find her, and once he does never leave her again.
. Cookie is my loveslave . Quark is my Necro-Loving-Fiend .
This is a battle character, eh? Well then I need at least one battle weakness before I can approve. I am a little heasitant to approve him already due to the fact he is very powerful, and I think the soul Gaze thing breaks an unwritten rule, so make his weakness a good one.
The reason I require such a weakness is because the weakness you mentioned cannot be exploited in battle, meaning they are all but pointless to mention.
