Strength: Dante's speed allows quick, and successive blows. His hand-to-hand combat is excellent. He is also a good hunter (of his enemies). Dante has a knack for being able to outwit, and psychologically terrify, his adversaries. As mentioned in skills, Dante has exceptional eye-sight.

Weakness: Garo magic inflicts severe mental and physical damage;either driving Dante insane, or ripping him inside out (thus, you should dispose of them quickly). Dante holds back on women, children, and the elderly; this gives enemies an advantage in sending assassins, of the three types of people above.

Skills/magic: Dante is a great marksman with daggers, and has exceptional eye sight. He sometimes goes to unnecessary measures to kill someone. Dante being who he is, likes to play mind games with his foe. His abrupt appearance into thier world, strikes an uncanny dread into his enemies. Dante can also harness ancient Ikanian magic, which he learned through a sorcerers records.
Magical Abilites
Lightning Strike: A devastating attack with scatter abilites.
Seeker Spells: A spell that allows a tracked targets location to be revealed.
Healing Magic: Magic that allows minor (and some major) wounds to be healed; the worse the wound the more bodily energy needed.

Appearance: A strong, rugged, and slick man with a stubble. Always has an angry, yet calm-looking face. Has the looks of both a king and his peasant. His muscle has an equivalent ratio with his height, giving him an "average strong-man" appearance. His skin is clear of scars, and acne (despite his hard living), but is pale and gives him a grim look.

Personality: Dante sometimes feels a lust in battle, and zones into a feral force to be reckoned with. He does not like talkative, or fearful people, for he is very independent. Dante is always down to business, and never jokes. He also has a liking for animals; they were the only things he grew up aside. Dante does not care if he dies (it will only bring him closer to his family), but still has the desire to complete his ultimate objective of revenge. His social life is vague, and he speaks rudely to strangers. Dante has self-reliant common sense, and only judges through peoples actions; not by who, or what they are.

Biography: Long before clock town was built, Ikanian miners found an underground river, and a mysterious door below thier camp. Eventually, Ikanian colonists decided to explore beyond the door. In this group of colonists was lieutenant Desiderius Ikana. He was the nephew of the Ikanian king, and grandson of the king before his uncle. They appeared in a forest, and after much walking (and some losses;they turned into an impish-thing) they came upon a land which the locals called Hyrule.
Desiderius came upon a ranch in the middle of "Hyrule Field", where he fell in love with a farm hand. They had a child named Dante, a powerful name in Ikana. But, the Ikanian colony was doomed. When the colonists had to leave Hyrule, Desiderius took Dante, until he returned too smuggle his lover.
But when Desiderius returned, Dantes mother was dead, attacked by looting Garo ninjas, who would eventually sack Ikana Castle. Dante was trained in his childhood to be strong and smart. He led a happy life, until Garo's started skirmishing the Ikanian border. On the night of an annual festival, Dantes life would be turned upside down.

The night of the festival(of time), Dante was having sort of a family reunion. Suddenly in the heart of the party Garos attacked the farm. Dantes family tried to fight back but were overpowered. He almost got himself killed , trying to save a cousin (then dead), but got away. That same night Ikana Castle was infiltrated and brought the mighty Kingdom of Ikana to its knees.
The Garos hit and ran, looting the kingdom. Dante survived off of farming, and hunting skills. He eventually went into an isolationist state. He couldn't leave Ikana Canyon; everyone else thought anyone coming out of the (former) kingdom was a Garo.
Dante read and increased his knowledge. He also looked at maps for escape routes. The castle armory had very interesting weapons in it; Dante acquired his maces there. Taking money from the treasury, Dante escaped Ikana Canyon by knocking out Termanian sentries. Although he was totally capable of this when he was younger, Dante was afraid of death, and afraid of leaving his sanctuary.
After only a bit of searching, Dante found the secret door under Clock Town described in Ikana Castles vast libraries, and historical records. He now had a link between his mother, and fathers worlds. After entering Hyrule Dante met an old man who, coincidently, was his uncle (on his mothers side). His uncle happened to be The Duke of Kakariko, who relayed Dantes story to the King of Hyrule.
The King employed Dante as a mercenary. Instead of rupees as his pay, Dante gets special information on the Garo Kingdom. He plans to tear up the Garo throne harder than they did his life.

Now, Dante is on a personal quest for revenge. He is Dante the Avenger.



This was my first character, and he may be almost the exact opposite of me. He has some personality connections with me, but thats it. Also, some of the information in Dantes story is based off of the belief that Garos may actually be Subrosians (access to both Hyrule, and Termina from underground, and appearance similarities). And, no I didn't get Dante from Devil May Cry.

Hmm...I'd like to see a little more detail in the abilities section. If you could, possibly explain the specific healing spells, etc. that he can harness.
