Weapons and defenses:

Lex lost his right arm in combat years ago, as well as his left eye. His greatest strength and weapon is the new bionical eye and arm created by supiorior alien technology. He went with lesser human technology for quite a while, a cumbersome, too heavy cybernetic arm and eye patch, but for his deeds in battle the Telani, a race that controls military equipment traffiking in the megaverse gave him both his mechanical warrior suit and eye and arm as a gift. (and a kingly gift at that) The eye and arm is controled directly through his nervous system, while the human technology, while highly advanced compared to twentieth century technology was an interface system that had to be reprogramed every day to keep up with the advanced signals of the nervous system. The eye and arm take a good deal of time to get used to, they were developed specifically for combat and actually work off the subconcious, to do what the person would actually do if he had time to react. Once in a while it twitches seemingly involuntarily to the person, only to realize he has managed to stop a bullet and is currently holding it between his fingers! The eye contains infrared, motion detection, ultraviolet and emp wave capability and makes those spectrums part of the person's everyday life, in addition it contains a heads up display that controls both the arm, reloads the gun Lex uses automatically and controls the thrusters on his boots that I will get to in a moment. The eye also contains a radio that connects to his ear that connects to most wavelengths, the eye is packaged with platelets that pull over his face to alternately go over his other eye to look like a pair of sunglasses, through which he can stand the direct rays of the sun, over his mouth to give him the ability to breath under water for about fifteen minutes, and can pull back completely into his socket to look like a completely normal human eye! The arm is a peace of work as well, as sleek, simple design that is completely bullet proof and mostly indestrutable, he uses it quite extensively for blocking sword swipes, bullets, and all but spread damage ballistics and missles. The arm contains a grappling hook, three foot extendible (but very light) blade, and a blaster on top of the wrist that tucks away when it's not being used. The arm contains no real weakness, containing surperior joints and hydrolic systems, as well as a support system that goes under his clothing that supperts his spine. He could essentially stop (but not lift) a semi coming right at him with one hand. His other two weapons are his all purpose rifle, and his boots. His gun is as vesatile as Sam Fisher's is in Chaos theory, with attachments that make it alternate between a tripple shot battle rifle, a shot gun and a sniper rifle. Lex prefers sniping, and he's an excellent shot. His boots aren't quite as durable as his arm, but no less effective. They sport three large talon like claws on the endof each foot, used for combat as much as attaching to cliff walls and the sides of buildings. They have a superior suspension system about as powerfull as a car's and thrusters. The thrusters run off an internal powersupply that fully charged, will allow Lex to fly for about two hours, at just under Mach I (at that speed his face mask comes in handy, supplying oxygen.) Also he wears a large, thick trench coat, a rather archaic form of bullet proof clothing. However it covers his body well enough and is thick enough that if he squats down to cover his legs and lifts his collar he can swallow the blow from mini missiles and fierballs, as long as they don't crate too much concusion. Lastly, his mechanical warrior suit: Lex's first occupation is that of pilot, and what he prefers is his mechanical suits. He has had many over his career, but this last one is a beauty. It's fifteen foot tall and Lex fits into the chest of it. It was origianlly designed for claw footed aliens, so he uses the boots to operate it. The suit has an internal nuclear power supply, and it will basically last fifty years if used and battled withe every day with no recharge. Lex uses the power supply to recharge his boots, which takes about fifteen minutes. In this world he is marrooned in his ship, and his considerable weapon systems in the mech are reduced to a gattling gun with limited ammo and a sword for melee. Lex uses both sparingly in this world, the sword uses a lot of the mech's energy, and the gattling gun ammo must be preserved, he uses the mech mostly for shelter and for storage. He has stim packs that will sustain himself with no food or water for about a year, and for a group it could even last three months. The stim packs also quicken healing.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

Lex is a pragamatist and was a special interest commando, as such his first goal is to survive, and his second is to complete missions placed before him. As such he has very little in the way of dilusions of grandeur or desire to prove himself to anybody, as a swordsman, a great warrior or anything else. In combat he has no interest in fighting fair, and little interest in killing, the first thing he will do is try to disarm/injure his opponent enough to break the fight from him, and then he will escape the conflict alltogether. Additionally he decidedly works better alone, and in many missions he has a view of the end goal to the exclusion of all else, including teamates, and if a course requires him to go off on his own he will not hesitate. This doesn't mean he is evil or has no sense of honor, and if a teamate is in trouble he will certainly come to his aid, unless doing so will put the mission goal in jeopardy. In fights he has no interest in using his blade for any reason than a quick suprise attack, and he will use his blaster just as quickly against a good swordsman. His real bread and butter for close combat though is his boots, which he uses to do some spectacular flips, thrusts, jumps, twists and slashes with the great taloned claws. It need be stated that despite his considerable repuituar of technology he is just a measly human, and a bit weaker than even a body builder. Throwing him agianst a wall, stabbing him, cutting off more limbs will likely kill him as not, so his first goal is not to be hit. His other major weakness is he is not the strongest team fighter.

Appearance:

Lex has the handsome highlander look, the long, distinguished face with long blonde thinning hair. His civis are a pair of durable army blue pants and a wife beater, and his thick, usually muddy trench coat. Meeting new people he almost always puts his cybernetic limb and eye away, his arm has platelets just like his eye, which create a look just like a real arm, and he can also put a polymer over it, equipped in his mech that feels just like real skin.

Personality:

Lex always seems to be deep in thought about something he doesnt have the best people skills, and can lose his temper somtimes. he grew up into the army so he takes such things very seroulsy. Transversly he's allways had a sarcastic humor that comes mostly from the ironies of life. he is a gentleman and respectable to all. if someone has proven themselfs as skilled or more skilled than he, Lex will have a large amount of respect for that person. Lex used to be in love with a girl, but she was killed during their relationship, right when she started into the pilot academy. He's had a hard time opening his heart to people, especially women ever since then. He has a very business like drawl, but then he gets trivial and light hearted about things at random and makes jokes about things that shouldn't be joked about.

Biography:

Lex is dubbed the last cowboy during his tenure in Alkasar, the main trading hub of the megaverse, a mile high structure of ancient rock and metal. He was given this title by his commrades after he learns that he is actually american, that his family moved to Germany about twenty five years before the apocalypse. Germany, specifically Munich, at the time was creating research for great mechanical piloted warriors, and relied completly on their technology during that difficult time. The apocolypse happened at the end of world war three on earth, the rulers decided that no nuclear weapons should be used in that war, but hundreds of millions died in that war. They say that the rifts opened up because of all the death, and the earth spewed her wrath, swollowing whole cities into dimensional gates and forever changing the face of the land. In addition, demonic and alien beings came up from the rifts, spurred on by a hunger to suck up the souls of those millions who had died. During this chaos the spine of theUnited States, then the most powerfull nation in the world was broken, and great travelers of space came to rule their, their slaves becoming human and american, errecting great temples and reducing the land to scorched earth and grasslands. Quite far away from that conflict, Lex's family found themselves in Munich, the one nation that would survive completely unscathed from the cataclysm. Their new technology, the scouts or pfadfinder in German, became the tool of their success, organizing into hulking armies of metal and steel against 20 foot giants and wyrms and dragons, and their first target was the Gargoyles, who had stolen Berlin and made it their central nest. The armies of Munich continued to gather and steal resourses, with a human supremist attitude that said those resourses rightly belonged to the native humans. And they continued to errect their machines untill their army was built up to eighty percent readiness, to point they were certain they could purge the land of alien rule and secure earth for the Humans. That is untill the Bajor came. The Bajor were spiked at the back and neck, about seven to ten foot tall, and had a technology that was vastly superior to humans as well as the trappings of magics. Lex's story came in at this point. He broke through the human supremist movement and made contact with the ancient builders of Alkasar. As it turned out the Bajor's central target was Alkazar, the central trading hub of the megaverse and a place with a vast network of portals that led throughout the galaxies that Alkazar controlled. One of these portals happened to be one to earth; the Bajor had secured it along with other protals that led to other parts of the galaxy, everywhere they found access to another world they sent a battalion to secure that trading point as well, and many smaller worlds they tried to conquer completely. Lex becomes instumental in closing that portal, one of the first controlled portals to actually be closed in thousands of years, and he does it with the help of the high elves, the original creators of Alkasar. After the portal is closed, the High Elves make a plan to open another portal to stratigic places in the Bajor defenses, and Munich sends its considerable force to Alkasar and wins the war for the Alkasians. Soon after, ties sour between the elves and the humans, and the human government goes back to its theories of human superiority. In the jumble Lex is cut off from his military ties, being touted an alien lover, and he chooses to stay in Alkasar, and becomes earth's diplomat.

Well, quick_silver, I can’t really see any major problems with this character. Your paragraphs could use some spacing in them to make them easier to read and you have a few spelling errors but other than that...
