Strength of the world. A7X (from HH)
Weapons: His left arm is a plasma blaster and his main weapon, that can shoot a fist-sized ball of plasma. The palm is the barrel and instead of fingers he has two claws and a thumb claw. His claw can detach as a grappling hook with a cord that can hold a ton. His boots have thrusters that allow for quick dashes in the air or for rocketing himself off the ground for a greater jump. He can only leave the thrusters on for a short time or they will over heat. One of his patented move is he’ll kick a guy and then turn on his thruster to do good amount of damage and send them flying.
Armor: J wears a biomechanical skintight suit that gives him increased strength, speed, and durability. The armored part of the suit can deflect most arrows and pullets leaving a small ding. The blue under layer is as strong as studded leather. The suit also provides a slow healing factor and can dull pain. (His arm can get cut off and he can still fight.) and he fatigues quite slowly.
Strengths: With it he is very acrobatic and is able to jump ten feet standing. He can move surprisingly fast and has the strength to lift a small car and throw it. His strength also allows his normal punches and kicks to do considerable damage. A black tinted visor can come over his eyes that displays a heads up display of everything he sees, including highlighting enemies from foes, night vision, inferred, armor stadise, among other things. Display
With the help of his visor, he is very good at staying fully aware of anything and everything wile in a battle, making it hard for one to sneak up on him or catch him by surprise. This also gives him an advantage wile fighting multiple enemies. He can work very well in a team, taking orders from any leader and executing the orders as effectively as he can (as long as he feels the orders are logical). Only if the team has no decided leader he is will quickly take charge, barking orders as he surveys the battle field, using his skill of awareness.
Weakness: In J’s world there is no magic so I suppose he’d have a weakness to that. Water doesn’t hurt him anymore than the next guy but because of the armors’ weight he can not swim and will be forced to remove his armor or drown. His strongest melee weapon is a claw so he can’t very well go toe to toe with any sward wielders. (He can block with the armor on the back of his forearms but it will ware down after a wile so he’ll have to get creative.)
While fighting he’ll sometimes go in over his head, trying to hard against overwhelming odds. Its not that he underestimates his opponents or that he overestimates his ability. J will just get a mindset of doing as much damage as he possibly can in every way that he can to as many opponents as he can and this usually doesn’t end well for J. His armor also has its weaknesses. The under layer of his suit is about as durable as studded leather so a good sword swipe, an arrow, or a bullet will cut right through it. Also the four gems on his armor are as hard as diamond but if any one is broken or cracked, J will lose a fourth of his overall power. When the suit is not activated it is dormant inside him. At first he could only activate it subconsciously but now has full control of the suit. Without the suit he is just a considerably weak human.
Appearance: Tall and thin, rather handsome with slightly big nose and ears. His hair is usually short and spiked forward rather sloppily. He usually wears his armor because it is like a second skin. His armor has a skintight under layer that is navy blue with a metallic chest plate that is red and blue with a big gold gem in the center. His thighs and upper arm are bare besides the under layer. His forearms and lower legs and feet have thick metallic armor that makes his hands and feet appear bigger. His helmet is a tight looking motorcycle type helmet with a ridge down the middle that ends in another gold gem on his forehead. When he’s not wearing his armor he usually wears baggy blue jeans and a red shirt that is rather big on him to mask his skinniness.
Older pic in color Personality: J’s personality out of suit is very much like yours truly, he likes cake a lot and is a very picky eater. He sort of ambles about when he walks with two long legs and anemic features. And he hides behind the cowl of his too large eyebrows when he looks at you, and speaks in a low deliberate voice but he has a dry wit and charming sense of humor that catches you off guard sometimes (oh yeah and he’s a very bad speller.) He is shy and always manages to say something stupid while talking with girls. In suit, a lot of his moves/attacks are reflexive and his attitude is more subdued almost like when he dons his armor some of that latent programming that controls his actions kicks in. A lot of times he even has to restrain himself from further fighting an already defeated opponent, but since his programming was never completed, it’s easily broken if he concentrates.
World History: Everyone on earth 4500ac wears a suit like J’s when they are above ground to protect them from the Xyanide virus. The suits are all individualized and utilize subconscious thoughts to function like an extra skin for their users. Many are very stylized, and they reflect the person’s very persona and character because they are formed by a program that builds off the person’s own imagination. They are given to each person when they reach the age of twelve and at that point they are given the privileges and free access to the outside world, before which they live strictly underground. As well as protection from the virus the suits also provide the wearers with a slight increase in different abilities. (J’s is far more advanced and powerful then most people because of unwanted circumstances) J was one of hundreds of super soldiers designed to overthrow what was left of the government. The technology worked by making clones of people who lived in the early twenty first century who were never exposed to the virus. They found that by injecting the zygotes with the virus in a controlled environment over long periods of time they could make the subjects immune to the virus, and even use the virus to their benefit. The virus was not a virus as they knew it in the twenty first century but a powerful mutating agent that uncontrolled completely changed the form of those infected, creating a world where the only humans that existed in this future timeline were ones that lived under ground or were protected by their technology from the very elements. All other forms of life mutated into monsters, the humans affected generally remained bipedal and just as intelligent but most became savage, warmongering, or very alien to their human counterparts, and some lost humanoid appearance altogether.
Biography: The research in the lab was nearing it’s completion, the production line nearly complete, and when J was 80% complete the lab was bombed and almost every clone was killed before completion. The pirates that had bombed the place then stormed what was left of the lab and captured the few incomplete solders that had survived. J was left under a boulder, cut off from the searching pirates and unknown to them. J, because he was pulled out too soon, was stripped of his final programming, a protocol to erase his memory and replace it with an advanced AI that would have given him superior speed and agility and the knowledge of how to use all of his considerable powers. But it would have also destroyed his memories of the person he was cloned from and destroyed his humanity completely. Instead he gained consciousness in a world not his own with memories from the twentieth century suddenly cut off abruptly and only fleeting subconscious memories of being tested in a lab. He then must reconcile his past with this new apocalyptic world. Also in the lab when he wakes is Roery, who is left completely undisturbed by the tumult. He breaks Roery out of her slumber, her situation memory wise much like his, and the two become fast friends, and together they brave this new alien world. As dangers arise, so arises some of their latent programming, and Roery transforms into her soldier form and defeats some of the monsters that threaten them. In the course of their survival they learn that they can control the latent abilities via their emotions, and learn through trial and error to eventually don their armor at will.
Second Stage, Dragon Armor:
He’s got two long blades on his right arm and his left claws can extend to the same length. He is a good deal faster and a bit stronger. With his blades he can now easily go toe to toe with any swordsman and with his new agility and speed he can pull off incredible maneuvers and sword skill. Obviously he can now use his clawed feet and general spikiness to his advantage. His thrusters overheat slower giving him more airtime. With them he can jump fifty feet into the air as apposed to thirty in his first form. His blaster is also a little stronger. His personality is more subdued and his moves are more fluid, less human. His battle rage is higher, at the same time he fights with incredible focus.
A weakness is that he is more animal like in this form and can sometimes go berserker if he is over raged or stressed. In berserker he moves a little faster and fights solely offensively, with no regard for the safety of himself or others.
He is a lot stronger so I might not use this form in most of my battles. He also has no idea how to activate it and it will only come if the need is dire.
