Dybia seems older than he really is. His hair is black and shows signs of graying. The black symbol on his back is very noticeable against the khaki jacket he wears.
Strengths: Close combat is his major strength, and he has great speed and strength.
Weaknesses: No armor off of his hands, and not good at ranged combat. If he's severely wounded the electricity's power is severely cut.
Magic: His ability to focus lightning through his gauntlets and sword. The enchantment on the gauntlets mentioned earlier is what lets him do this and he can only focus lightning bolts through his sword but can still shock the hell out of anyone else by grabbing theirs. He can also focus the electricity through the steel soles of his boots to power up his kicks but he does feel a small jolt going through his legs each time so it takes a little out of him each time. The electricity of the gauntlets is drawn from Dybia's natural energy, not an arcane spell. His body is changed, not like a normal human's. It creates the electricity naturally.
He also has the ability to stimulate every muscle in his body, with the electricity from his gauntlets, giving him near super speed and strength ,but this burns power from his electric attacks for moment and only lasts a few minutes.
Bio: He was born and raised in a mining town in the west that exported iron mainly. At one point the town got lucky and found artifacts of an underground culture. They found riches not only in the old fortunes, but from museums who bought the artifacts. One day they struck the wrong wall releasing a noxious gas left by the ages of rotting corpses and other contained gases in the mining tunnel. Many were killed from that day including Dybias father.
Those that got out had to abandon the town because the gases seemed to stay in the tunnels never dissipating. Moving from mine to mine always running out, never getting lucky like that one time. Most were able to support themselves for many years from the small fortune they had gotten. Dybia was still scarred from then, so he simply kept digging, never socializing much. He left the other people to find some new surroundings, and just get back to mining.
At the age of 21 he was on an archaeological dig, Dybia had been at the dig for three days for the 6 months it had been going on. On the third day he struck the wall of what looked like an altar chamber. He walked forward to the altar where his future weapons layed. There were skeletons laying through the room of all types, man, beast, monster, and some carrying weapons. As soon as he touched them though the skeletons in the room started to come to life one by one. At just that moment one of the other diggers walked in with a look of awe at the large room.
"Run!!" Dybia yelled darting for the entrance with the gauntlets and sword in hand. "What?" the man said with Dybia passing him a skeleton caught him in the head with a scimitar. the miners had installed points of explosives in several points in the mines and with the skeletons preoccupied with the many miners that were too slow to react. all Dybia had to do was set it off. When he made it to the entrance he slowed down to carry and place one more set of dynamite at the entrance with only five other diggers coming out from behind him, he jumped to the plunger setting off the dynamite. If not destroying but trapping the undead skeletons in the tunnels.
When the six of them were leaving to report what had happened to their employer Dybia decided to put on the gauntlets. As soon as he put them on, he was given a vision from a forgotten god. Giving him great power from within the weapons he took from the altar. It seemed a god of transference and refinement rather than raw power. He gave Dybia something all living things possessed deep down and the ability to use it.
He left the diggers to pursue new objectives with his new power. He kept fighting and getting more powerful and skilled with his new weapons. Over the 25 years from then, he did many things. Not much of which was for enjoyment. Out of necessity he did horrible things in his seclusion. None he regretted though. He would have considered not doing these things suicide, and that is something he hates.
He has few people left he really cares about. The only family member he has kept in touch with is his younger brother Atton. He only sees him about once a year, if at all. Atton was only ten at the time of the mine incident so he was not old enough to work there. Atton stayed with his and Dybia's mother when Dybia left. Atton has large brushy hair, tends to walk around barefooted, and usually wears blue jeans and a jacket over a white shirt.
He is now a servant of Zaros, Zaros does not take the weak's help. Not because he despises them, but because he would get them killed. Zaros is an age old god, or "Demi-god" of great power. He was there before the creation of all that is. He watched the true god create the universe, and he loved the true god's creation. He eventually saw the development of humans in this universe.
He saw himself reflected in them and he wished to see them flourish, but seeing the course they took he could only see horrible things for them. Some wanted solemn peace with no conflict, and others wanted far too much conflict. They lacked a sense of balance. The god that created them refused to interfere.
Zaros went down himself to help balance the world of humans. For centuries he kept the world in balance, and never letting on to his presence. He had the ability to destroy nations with the flick of a finger, but such exercising of power would destabilize things horribly. He had to make things seem like the world was taking care of it's own problems.
His methods began to be a little hard. Subtlety was kind of hard to maintain, soon though there were mortals that approached him. Some seemed to understand his purpose. They miraculously had the clarity one would need for the job. The first one who could truly help Zaros achieve his ends, and it was a man of the east. He came to the small lair that Zaros kept under a small mountain.
He promised the very few that could help him "Balance this world my friends, and our goals will never let you die. This is a job that cannot stop. Our balance, It will never stay, but you can live on, and keep bringing it back when the fools of this world try to take our balance away.
Dybia has never heard of them. He's never met them. Zaros has never spoken of them. Dybia has also never met Zaros physically as they did. Dybia doesn't understand it, but he does not question it. Dybia has no purpose other than what Zaros tells him to do from time to time. Dybia waits for the day he meets Zaros in person, to find out what happened to force him into a place where he could not come meet his hands in the world.
Personality: He is not a social person. He doesn't reach out much. He does however have a hard conflicting definition of what's right. His past occupations, he gave an oath that he wouldn't break anymore.
