Name: Alya
Age: 1 year and 3 months since death (looks around 20)
Race: Ghost (Human)
Gender: Female
Hair: Light Brown
Eyes: Purple
Weight: light as air (looks about 120)
Height: 5' 8"
Weapon: None
Armor: None
Strengths: Since she doesn’t have a physical body, Alya can’t be harmed by physical attacks. She also can’t become fatigued. As a ghost, she is able to fly through solid objects and easily escape whatever is after her. Alya can use her rudimentary psychic abilities to fight either with other objects or by attacking the person’s mind and she herself has hardy mental barriers. She is sensitive to the presence of other ghosts, people that have more-than-usual spiritual powers, and other psychics. Her ability to float also make her extremely agile and fast. And, obviously, she can’t die.
Weaknesses: Because she lost her physical body, she can’t harm a person physically, either. However, she has no defense against spiritual/magical attacks. Alya also doesn’t really know how to fight, opting for random and haphazard attacks. Since she can’t feel pain or die, she has a tendency to jump right into a situation without thinking too much. Also, being just a spirit, she can’t heal like a conventional person. She must enter the Spiritual Plane and meditate for awhile, the exact length of time depends on the size of the wound.
Abilities:
Telekinesis- Telekinesis is the ability to move objects with one’s mind, which is exactly what Alya does. She can move about ten small objects at once, usually just to throw them around in random directions. Alya can’t pick up anything bigger than a small chair and only one of those because of the size. The larger the objects, the less of them she is able to manipulate.
Barrier- Alya can create a small barrier of psychic energy to defend against weak magical and physical attacks. Moderate strength attacks or several weak attacks can breach it, though.
Invade- Using is ability, Alya attacks the opponent’s mind with her own, causing headaches and, if she pushes long and hard enough, unconsciousness. If a person has mental barriers, though, she would first have to get through them to cause any damage. She prefers not to use this too much, however, because memories or emotions can sometimes leak through during an attack, both hers and the opponents.
Possession- Just as it sounds, Alya can take over a person’s body. However, they must either have weak willpower power to begin with or either have it worn down as she can be easily pushed out. The easiest people to possess are unconscious or sleeping ones. She prefers not to do this, either, the reason being the same with attacking an opponent’s mind, that memories can slip through. Also, most people panic when they realize they are possessed and that is a horrible feeling for Alya.
Invisibility- Alya has the ability to become invisible to people. However, she can’t use any of her other psychic abilities when using this one as it take a large amount of concentration. She mainly uses it to scare people or slip away easily.
Material Body- Using this, Alya can create a physical ‘covering’ for herself so she can become solid. However, this is used only to interact with physical objects or people. It’s not a real body so it doesn’t bleed or anything when harmed. In fact, Alya is still unable to feel anything and usually runs into quite a few things when walking around.
Plane Shift- This allows her to travel between the Spiritual Plane and Living Plane. She can also use this to transport other living peoples’ spirits back and forth but is extremely risky as one mistake could cause the death of the individual.
Spiritual Plane- This plane of existence lies underneath the Living Plane. The two planes cannot interact unless under extreme circumstances. It is a place where earthbound spirits and remnants dwell. Spirits can interact with each other much similar to living people as they are solid on the Spiritual Plane. While the geography of the this plane is almost exactly the same as the living one, the appearance is usually very different due to remnants. Remnants are lingering emotions, positive or negative, that are left from people when they experience a strong emotion. There are third different kinds of remnants: common, item, and memory. Common remnants effect the look of the Spiritual Realm and come from emotions directed at something general. Positive ones can make a place look inviting and well-build while negative ones make a place decay and rot. Item remnants take the shape of an item and come from an emotion directed at a specific person or a small group of people. Usually, it’s a mundane item like a diary or locket, something important to the person that left the emotion. Memory remnants are the rarest and are actual memories that are played over and over. They also come from an emotion directed at a specific person and are usually fairly powerful. Powerful remnants can sometimes effect the emotions of people on the Living Plane though usually not strongly. For example, people walking into a place with a strong positive remnant might feel at ease and comforted.
Appearance: Alya wears a white turtle-neck sweater, lavender sweat pants, and white tennis shoes. Her light brown hair reaches to her lower back and is allowed to fly freely, sometimes getting in her way. She had a rather petite figure that make her look fragile. Alya is usually wearing a smile when people see her and has equally cheerful eyes. The necklace she wears is very important to her, though she can’t remember why. The golden chain isn’t actually made of gold, it just looks that way, while the red pendant is actually red jade. Also, since she is a ghost, Alya is semi-transparent. A person can see the outline of whatever’s behind her but not the whole thing clearly. She also floats about an inch off the ground. (The pic is when she was still alive.)
Personality: This ghost tends to act relatively happy and carefree. She usually spends her time either exploring the Spiritual Realm, talking to the people who don’t run when they see her, or haunting people, which she finds rather fun. Alya usually stays away from other ghosts, most she finds are rather depressed or angry at their deaths or don’t want anything to do with her. When the ghost is on the Living Plane, she tends to hang around areas such as sidewalks or transportation places like subways.
When around other people who she’s interested in communicating with but aren’t dead, Alya usually uses her material body since she’s realized people are somewhat nervous when she floats around. If they’re alright with her ghostly form, though, she spends her time like that. She tends to be a klutz sometimes, both unintentionally and on purpose, leaning against walls and then falling through them or maybe even doing flips in mid-air. Alya also likes to help people when she can and isn’t picky about who she makes friends with.
Despite the cheerful front she puts on, she’s very susceptible to bouts of depression. The fact that she has little to no memory of her past life disturbs her and she sometimes wonders if she was ever alive in the first place. One of the weak memories she has concerns her necklace which she knows to be very important to her and it can rile her if someone make a rude comment about it. Also, she can’t feel anything physical or do most things that living people do such as sleep or eat which she kind of misses. Alya tends not to hand around people when they are doing said things. She’s also rather lonely and doesn’t like when people talk about love or emotions like that.

Biography:
Uhhhnnn... Ohhh...
Where am I?
I can’t remember a thing...
...
Wait... I can’t remember a thing!
...
Uh oh...
Yep, those where the first thoughts I had when I woke up. Nice ones, huh? I couldn’t remember one scrap of information. Where I was, who I was, or what had even happened. I was... confused, to say the least. Anyway, other than my lack of memory, and I first noticed that the sky was a light grey color, like it was about to snow. Now I was thinking what in the world was I doing lying down outside. When I stood up, sort of, I realized I was in a graveyard. Heh, that freaked me out. And then, to add to the weirdness, I noticed I was floating. Now, I my not have known anything about myself, but I know people don’t float. Needless to say, I freak out for a couple of seconds. Well... maybe it was a few minutes. Okay, it was probably more like a half hour but details don’t matter, all you need to know is that I freaked out. I kind of ran, er, floated around in circles panicking until someone else came up and calmed me down enough to tell me what was going on. Apparently, I was dead. Yeah. After bluntly telling me that fact and that I was in a place called the Spiritual Plane, this male ghost glided away and left me to digest this new revelation. Well, after thinking about this for a bit, I did the most sensible thing I could think of. I balled like a baby.
Ahem, after pulling myself together, which I have no idea how long that took, I decided I should at least explore this place I was at. After doing that a bit, I realized I recognized it slightly. It was a large city, no clue how large exactly. But I did recall the names’ and shapes’ of some buildings. Though, I couldn’t remember why I knew them. I became pretty darn frustrated over that. Ghosts supposedly stay because they either have something to finish or want revenge for their death. Or, at least, that’s what all the movies and things like that say. But, if a spirit can’t remember their life in the first place, why hang around as one? That’s the dilemma I get to think about. Anyway, I noticed that the buildings also looked strange. Some parts would look rotten and decayed while others looked like they had been repaired and made new. I later learned that remnants cause that. Oh, nasty little things those are. Remnants are okay if you walk into a positive one but those are pretty few and far between. Negative ones are just freaky, not to mention potentially dangerous, too.
Well, after exploring the Spiritual Plane for a couple months, I finally figured out how to get into the Living Plane. I thought that once I got there, someone might be able to help me. Heh, was that a joke. First person that saw me ran away. Most people aren’t accustom to spirits, understandably enough. Thankfully, I didn’t appear right in the middle of a major place. That would’ve been pandemonium. After wandering around in the Living Plane for some time, I figured out that I could go invisible. Best freaking thing in the world, invisibility. If only I wasn’t dead... Uh, any-who, after I figured that out, I spent most of my time just watching people. Doing that added a whole new level to my depression. Though, I did figure out some more of my psychic abilities and used them to pass the time. Though, instead of passing time, most people call it ‘haunting,’ hehe.
Eventually, I made my way down to an abandoned subway stop. Well, not really abandoned. Homeless people had made themselves a place to live there. I thought it would be interesting to... startle a few of them. I found one alone in a subway car but, did he run when are started moving stuff? No, he told me either to stop it and show myself or get the hell out of there. Well, I was certainly surprised that he actually talked to me, though a little ticked at what he told me. Well, I showed myself and then told him off. Then he proceed to tell me off, too. And, after awhile, we got to talking and became friends. Huh... now that I look back at it, I’m not quite sure how it happened. Regardless, I was beyond happy to have a friend. I even got to know most of the others that lived down there. Though, I was kind of surprised they stayed there, the remnant in that area was pretty fierce. Anyway, Jake, my buddy, was the one who directed me to Madam Ambrosia. One of those people that are supposedly mystics but everyone thinks is crazy. I’m pretty sure Ambrosia isn’t her real name, either. She’s blind, too, but when I entered her shop, she knew I was there. Astonished me, to say the least. Apparently, the elderly mystic is visited by several spirits, though none as interested in talking as me. Madam was the one who gave me my name Alya. Better than anything I came up with, which was nothing.
Well, nothing too interesting has happened after meeting with her. I’ve done some more exploring of both planes Though, even if I am a ghost, the Spiritual Plane can get pretty creepy. Um, yeah, nothing really interesting has happened. I have no idea if I’ll ever get my memory back which is kind of depressing. Oh well... Huh? What’s wrong? Heh, you look like you’ve seen a ghost.
