Re: Character Policies and Guidelines
First, the "Father: Link, Mother: Navi" is freaking me out. But that's just me...
Seccondly, things that drasticly change the canon story is a no-no. I guess that since it's not mentioned what happens after the game ends, it's not canon, but it's still pretty drastic against the set story. But I'm no counsilor, so I have no say in this cause. except that you SHOULD! change the "Father: Link, Mother: Navi" thingy.. Because that would mean... Ugh... edit: ninjaed - Kaching |

Re: Character Policies and Guidelines
I feel a imminent sense of doom hanging over me.
![]() And I never really considered trying to add canon characters to the site. I just threw out the quesiton for the hell of it. And you know, what in her bio really goes aganst the established canon? Each major event takes place after one game or another without interfering with their storyline. |

Re: Character Policies and Guidelines
Well I'll tell you a few things that we touched on. Firstly and most importantly: Link is a Hylian, not a Kokiri, he is a Hylian in every game he has ever been in. Secondly: Navi is a fairy, a small one...how exactly did they create a child, furthermore: Cannon aside each Link is a different person, and none are immortal, assuming this is OOT link there is no way he could have survived the great flood, also: Hyrule was destroyed in the aftermath of WW. Kokiri aren't weak to fire xD
ALSO! You are not allowed to use the Master Sword. Everything else can be explained, or looked over, but she cannot have the master sword. Edit: On second though, someone mentioned that she had the Master Sword, but looking over it again I've seen no mention of it @)@ In either case I will take a more thorough look over it later, =3

Re: Character Policies and Guidelines
I honestly forgot to edit the Master Sword part out. I had to use an older version of her bio for this which I forgot to edit.
And on the subject of Link's immortality, Navi's growth, their appearance in a Hyrule thousands of years in the future...that stuff all takes place within the story that Karin is eventually going to be a part of. Link's immortatlity is the result of his marriage to Navi. (Prepare for lots of fanon) During the Fairy Unification Ceremony, a ceremony used for any interspecies relationship involving fairies, half of the said fairy's magic is passed over to their mate. This essentially binds the two's life spans. As long as Navi lives, Link lives. Navi's growth is more of a quick explanation. In the (fanon) aftermath of Majora's Mask (of which it is never explained how Link and Navi reunited, hence keeping all those complaints about my alteration of it subdued), they have been romantically involved thanks to the Great Fairy's ability to enlarge Navi within the fountains. This led to, well, stuff that couples do when they're really, really close. During that time, Saria and the other Sages had managed to concoct a potion that would permanently simulate the effects of the Great Fairy Fountain on Navi's body. She drank it and got big. The residing in the post WW Hyrule is a much longer story. Let's just say that their accidentally stumbling into it directly relates to Zelda becoming the villain. And depending on what timeline theory you believe in, LoZ and AoL take place after WW. And why wouldn't the Kokiri be weak to fire? They were born from the Deku Tree, so wouldn't that make them part plant? |

Re: Character Policies and Guidelines
That is a lot of Fannon...but not technically unimaginable, just put it in your bio to help people.
Split timeline, which actually would make it more confusing...wha'eva. And Kokiri are not part plant xD They are just like elves things...no fire weakness. It doesn't matter because Link was Hylian not Kokiri neways >_< Thank you for clearing that all up =3

Re: Character Policies and Guidelines
Alright, but it makes an already long bio even longer, so I might have to submit it as a story to get it accepted
And you know, I never said Link was Kokiri. It's even said that Karin's half Hylian. The weakness to fire is just something she developed from living the exact same lifestyle as the Kokiri. STOP QUESTIONING IT!!! |

I have to question it, it's my Job. The weakness to fire needs a better reason that that, savvy, =3

Re: Character Policies and Guidelines
Hello! There are a few questions I would like to ask.
First of all, can we use multiple characters to make them one large character. For example, there is a team of two and they work together to battle. If this sounds confusing let me know. I was thinking about creating a character where two people must work together in order to fight. My next question isn't really a question, instead it is more of a plead. I don't want to sound impatient or anything, but can you (B.A. Council) review my character soon? I'm going on a trip over Winter Break, and I would like to fix anything that is wrong before then. (That is, if anything is wrong to begin with.) Edit: If you can't (dis)approve it before that time then don't worry about it. I'm sure my younger cousin will bring her laptop with her. Take as much time as you need. (okay, not really...) That is all... okay, bye.

- Of course. Look around and you'll see plenty of characters that are two people together, or familiars, or what have you. Just make sure you don't make them too strong, and we're all good. =D - I'll go take a quick peek, but keep in mind for future refference, if you feel you've been overlooked by the council, simply PM one of us and we'll take a look as soon as we can, savvy? Keep in mind we have families and lives too... I think. >_> I mean, the others could just be all robots for all I know... Or I could be a robot for all YOU know. ... I think I'm beginning to scare myself. Beep. ![]() You heard nothing. *Trots off*
