Congrats on putting together your first character.

As far as advice: Try not to put words into your opponents mouth, unless you are extremely familiar with the character and have permission. Likewise do not try to anticipate how another person's character will react to a situation. If you're not sure, it's more than okay to collaborate with your opponent in order to make the story better by getting everyone's personalities/reactions right.

On a more technical note, please try to at least put your posts through a spelling/grammar checker before you put them up. It's distracting to try reading a fight when you have to wade through a plethora of mistakes.

But, most importantly, have fun!

Yes, but try not to tie it in with other Zelda characters. Just make them originate from Hyrule/Termina/Holodrum/etc., and be one of the Hyrulian species.

If you are just wanting to make a Hylian, you may as well call them human and be born completely away from Zelda-ish lands, but if you want a Zora or Goron (or other hyrulian), then just be careful of what you put in their profile.

You can PM one of the BA coucilors to ask them to look at it. Altamira's probably your best chance of having it looked at, although there are a few other active councilors.

Before you do that though, I think it would be good if you expanded on the character's details in the middle and later sections. Read up on other characters to see how long it should be.

Whether or not you do that is your choice, but when you think it's good enough, PM a councilor and either they will approve the character or suggest areas you could improve him in.

Ok, it's almost a month and nobody has approved my character.

I've already PM'ed someone on the BA Council, but Fishman is still left untouched.

What am I supposed to do? I think it's been long enough...

Try Ranarath, Altamira, and Angel. All three, not just one. Make sure they know, since they're the ones kinda "in charge" of approvals.

I tried them all recently, and still no reply.

More than one.

I don't really think there's an actual number you have to have. The main reason I made one for my characters was because the link I had to a particular post kept messing up. And even if it worked for me, people with different posts-per-page didn't get the right post. So, make one if you think you need it.

I'l make mine when all the chars in my mind actually get on paper.

But yeah, I think the minimum should be 4. Maybe 6.

EDIT: Also, are you aware that you posted your thread twice?

I made a character thread for my 1/2 character/s; half because of the bad linkage if people are on a different PPP, and half because my one character will become six eventually.

Hey guys. Being new around here, I'm a bit curious about something. If you plan to make characters as part of a group (like a team or party), can you submit them all at once or are you only allowed one character at a time? Just a question I like answered before I submit a character to your BA Character section.

If you are planning to have them all equal in terms of strength, activity and development, it is probably best to submit them at different times (still within touching distance of each other, but a short wait may be required).

On the other hand, if one is the obvious leader and the other are weaker, less relevant, etc. then it could possibly be resolved in your favour.

Regardless, you shouldn't take my word for it--PM Honor, he'll tell you what you'd like to know.
