You know, you don't need to make an "under construction" character thread. You can use programs like Word or Notepad to do exactly what you're doing with those threads, only without cluttering the Characters subforum with needless threads.

But a mac has a wacky writing program. This is a lot better.

EDIT: The free program is wacky. The one you buy is a lot more better.

Then I'd reccomend sending the profiel to yourself in a PM. Just adress the PM to yourself, and send it. I usually do that as it helps with coding the profile (b, i, and all that), and saves it easy. Plus, if you use more than one computer with internet, you can access it on any of the computers.

Would a character be permitted to have, say, Jenova infection? He would, in no way, be linked to Sephiroth or FF7, it would just be a twist on my character.

And would we be allowed to remodel our BA character in the future, or do we have to stick with our first one forever?

It's perfectly fine for your character to have whatever condition you like. It just adds a bit to the whole thing.

And yes, you can "remodel" your character. It's called character development. If you skim through the old characters in the forum you may see threads like "Aronin 2.0" These are character revisions and such.

Also, you're allowed more than one character. While yes you'd need to show that you'd sufficiently used the previous one first, making a completely different and unrelated second character is fine.

An example of the former would be something like... I guess my Tera & Raven fit the description. They are rarely in the same RP as eachother. (Almost as rarely as any random two characters here)
An example of the latter would be something like Devin & Cari, or the Die Sprache der Liebe Symphony. They always RP together.

I first example he gave you would have to made separate. The other one you could make together, but you should look at a few example to see how it done right.

For example, a father-son set? They wouldn't be necesarily allied, in fact, it would be like Luke & Vader.

Sounds like you'd either need two separate profiles, or have one be an NPC. (I mentioned Tera & Raven earlier. They are, in effect, sisters... But still require separate profiles.)

Am I permissed to make multiple profiles then? I suppose that's my question.

Only after using the first character in a few RPs. Take it from me it not really worth having a lot of characters. I have so many I don't know what to do with them all now.

On the flip side of this, I've got a lot myself, and still use them all here and there.

I still use them to. Just they don't see as many rps and battles like I would want them to.

Mainly it just depends on you. I only have three characters...
