I'm probably gonna sound like a stupid n00b, but I just have to post it. I just gotta let this out, no one has to bother to reply to it.

There are six characters (excluding Shrub's) that haven't been posted in at all. The earliest was posted on the first, the latest on the nineteenth. I'm not really worried about the latter though, I'd still give it a few days. But I think someone should get to looking at those.

It's Christmas time. People are stressed, and with their families.

Turns out councilors have lives too, who would've thunk it.

Like I said, it was just bugging me, so I just had to post that. That was actually my theory about what was happening. I should probably be quiet now, if I don't I'll probably accidentally offend someone or make myself look even stupider than I already have...

What we need in this place are/is councillors/a councillor who are/is dedicated to character approval. From what I remember of a question asked to the councillors ages ago, none of them are particularly keen on the task. :/

We do have those. They are called Mediators. Puck and Ciroton are examples.

Then they need to pay more attention to this place. Even out of holiday season at least half of the profiles go without being approved or unapproved for at least a week, and most of that half never get it at all. :/

On top of that, I very rarely see Puck approve at all, and only doing so for established BAers as far as I've seen. Ciro's better, but I've seen Cookie and Shrub each give their thoughts on potential characters more than him (albeit not by a particularly wide margin).

Battle Arena. Previously, the Escapists' Haven was know, in it's entirity, as the Battle Arena. However, the name got changed with Battle Arena, being reserved for the forum where player character v player character fights go.

However, some oldbies (meself included) still call the whole thing the BA as a force of habit... or stubborness, which is pretty much hand-in-hand here. =P

My lord its been, an age, since I've posted here. Much change has occurred... could anyone point me in the right direction with regards to where my character threads have gone?

Well, there's the search function if you remember your characters' names. And then there's the character list thread, but that has a similar problem.

Several hours ago. You only posted a day or two ago you just have to be patient, they have lives and things they have to do as well.

Suggestion one: If you feel like your character is being overlooked, ask a BA Councillor to look at it. Puck (aka. Robin Goodfellow), Ciroton and Cookie, and perhaps others I currently forget, are meant to look around this place semi-regularly anyway.

Suggestion two: If you have a real intention to participate in the Escapists' Haven, I strongly suggest you use correct grammar and punctuation all the time. In the post I've quoted alone I can spot no less than 7 errors, and only around half of those could be excused for someone who doesn't know the English language very well. (Not to be mean to you personally, but bad spelling, grammar and punctuation really bug me. :/)
