duel character: Siroon and Maigus Name: Siroon and Maigus
Age: 22 (twins)
Race: human
Gender: male
Hair: sandy blond (s); grey-white (m)
Eye Colour: blue (s); gold (m)
Weight: 250 (s); 120 (m)
Height: 6'5" (s); 5'9" (m)
Weapon: long broadsword (s); staff of magi (m)
Strength : Siroon is gifted with a powerful frame and he uses it well. He is well versed in sword play. Magius is a powerful magic user and he never hesitates in battle. The two blend perfectly sword and magic in a devastating fashion. It is rumored that these two have a psychic link between them that helps them fight as one.
Weakness: Siroon is intellegent but it takes him a long time to get to his usually astute and ingenious answers. Siroon is also protective of his brother, when his brother does anything wrong his brother blindly takes up for him and that puts him in a lot of trouble. Magius, although a powerful magician, is physically frail and cannot take much physical punishment. He is often blinded by his ambition and often that leads him down unsavory paths until his brother comes to his rescue. If these two are separated then the strength and skill of each begins to fade.
Skills/Magic Ability: Siroon is a powerful swordsman, although he has had no formal training, who learned his trade out in the world and from his older brother, Sirius. He uses a 3 1/2 foot long double edged blade and is a powerful contender, armed or otherwise...
*Maigus is a very gifted magic user, the youngest ever to take the Test of magic. He carries a strange book that speaks words that have not been heard for centuries, the ancient toungue of Old Hyrule.
Appearance: At first these two seem like ordinary travellers but it is soon obvious these are in no way ordinary. Siroon is a beast of a man, as strong as a fully grown goron. He wears chain mail underneath his leather armor and both armors were uniquely designed for him to not hamper his movements.
*Maigus is much less intimidating, he is a small unmuscular man in a long flowing robe. He holds a staff with a strange gem atop it. His robe is crimson and his face is always deep within the shadows of his hood, in in the brightest of days. At first glance he seems weak and easily surmountable but his eyes reveal his inner power. A strange fire burns in those eyes, a powerful and unusual sign in magic users
Personality: Siroon is a large man, prone to women and drinking. He can outdrink any man and even hold his own against dwarves at drinking the potent drink created by the subterrainian men, dwarf spirits. He is handsome to the ladies, impressive to the men, but all in all in a good natured jovial man. He is Maigus's conscience and the only thing holding the magi back from failing miserably in death.
*Maigus is completely opposite from his twin brother. He is reserved, not prone to emotion, and a studious learner of magic. His only love is magic and only delicate elven wine (known as grape juice to the boisterious dwarfs) does not make him sick. He spends much time commiting to memory the words that bring his magic to life. He has little time for the antics of his brother, but absorbs much of Siroon's time with his constant sickness. Not much is known about Maigus's sickness but it is known that whatever caused it happened during the Test.
History: These two were born in a small town outside of Hyrule called Solstace. In Solstace, they were raised by their older brother, for their mother had died giving birth to the twins, and were brought up on different paths. Siroon took after his brother and learned the way of the warrior but Maigus envied the gods and sought a little of their power. Sirius was adventuous from the beginning so when he had to take care of his sickly brother he quickly became bored and left the care of the upcoming magi to his younger brother. Sirius was ambitious and when a chance for power presented itself, he did not hesitate to grasp it. An order known as the Dark Brothers began to seek out mercenaries for generals and Sirius joined the evil order to get a chance to rule the land he was born in. Siroon and Maigus, on the other hand, took the path of truth. They openly resist the Dark Coven of Brothers even though they do not fully support their counter-order, the Paladins. They roam the land of hyrule and surrounding areas in search of magic, treasure, and adventure. They do not consider themselves mercenaries, even though they might join into a battle for little or no reason except the joy and rush of fighting.

The staff of magi is not a power all on its own...it has some powers like the crystal at the top lights up (at the correct magic word) but Maigus's magic is a magic of words not of the staff. The staff is only a channel for his power, like water is to electricity... |
