Name: Boltasar/Balthazar. His parents called him Balthazar, but because of the bolts in his ears he was quickly called Bolt and Boltasar. Eventually everybody, even his parents, called him Boltasar.

Skin Color/Complexion:Black Very Short Fur, from a distance it looks like latex, but up close you see it is most definitely hairs.

Appearance: A mythical creature bearing resemblance to both Jackals and Foxes. Very short black fur with yellow rings on all four of its legs, one on his tail and both his ears which he can light up. He also has a bolt on his forehead, the same color and glow as the rings. His mouth is only visible when he opens it, making smiling a very hard thing to be noticed.


Weapon(s): His claws can be lethal, but he prefers to use his magical powers.

Armor: His fur can resist several elemental harms but is almost useless against most physical attacks.

Carried Possessions: A pouch around his neck filled with Berries and money. A magical scarf with 5 colors: Purple, Black, Light Blue, Light Green, Red/Yellow/Blue (this one changes from time to time) which is tied around his left paw.


Powers/Magic/Skills:
Bolt is able to summon purple glowing balls of dark energy.
The energy balls go in a straight line

He can become invisible for a very short period of time.

The moon restores his energy and increases his power.
He is much weaker during the day.
His rings will glow when at max energy and power.

He can lock ones movement with an illusion of big glowing red eyes, this is because of both fear and a magical block in the nerve system of the victim, that makes them unable to send new commands to their limbs.
This only affects creatures that actually have a nerve system and wouldn't work on creatures like E.G.: Slimes. Unless the creature is easily frightened.

He can preform telekinesis by focusing all of his energy.
He can't move while using telekinesis.
His eyes glow blue and the things/beings that are affected have a blue smoke surrounding them

Thanks to his mutation he can create and control small bolts of lightning.
The attack takes two seconds to charge.
Static is visible on his forehead while charging.

He can run like the wind and he can charge himself while running to cause extra damage when tackling someone.
The charged tackle hurts himself too.
He gets surrounded by electricity all over his body.

When his friends are endangered he can create a protective barrier so they can look for cover.
He can't hold the barrier very long, especially when under heavy fire.

Limits: All of his skills tire him, some more than others. Skill specific limits are in Italic
Side-Effects: Overusing skills can make him faint. Skill specific side effects are Underlined

Battle Strengths: He is a loyal companion to his friends and the best watchful eye you can have during the night. He can manipulate objects during fights and is very useful against water and metal beings and beings who wear metal armor. He can endure quite a bit of voltage, low voltages even charging him instead of hurting him. He can make his rings glow at will and he has improved eye vision during the night. He has a dog's hearing.
Battle Weaknesses: He gets tired very quickly during the day. He can take few physical hits. He has decreased eye vision during the day.

Other:When people hear his name but don't see his appearance people tent to think he looks like a Bulbasaur. He hates it when people call him Bulbasaur. He can communicate with humans through telepathy. He is based on Umbreon except for his mutations making him an OC and not a Cannon Pokémon. I didn't want to call it a Pokémon but it might just be better to explicitly say it is indeed a Pokémon.
He lives on an island on earth that was until recently unknown to humans.

Personality: He is a very serious type and also very shy. But when one becomes friends with him he can be very loyal and joyful. He has always had problems with serious relation ships and tries to avoid these because of his past. He prefers to stay in the background unless his friends are in danger or being bullied.

Likes: The Night, Full moon, dark areas. Watching the moon on top of hills and trees.
Dislikes: A bright sun, heat, smoke.
Fears: Losing even more friends.
Virtues: Will always stands up for his friends.
Vices: He can easily get annoyed, especially when strangers pet him. He doesn't like idiocy. He hates loud noises. Most jokes don't fall well.

History: After he was born he was always being bullied because of the bolts in his ears. When he accidentally did his first charged tackle he knocked his only friend Criss out cold. She was unconscious for almost 2 days. After his specialization he and Criss left their home town, afraid of the imminent war, during their travels they met several other individuals and with some they became friends. When they gathered 3 other friends, Amumu (a messenger who was sent to find other tribes to come aid the Eevees), Daisu (a showoff who loves to fight and can get annoyed if they loiter around doing nothing for more than 2 days) and Eon (an experiment by humans who knew to escape and swam through the pacific ocean for months until she stranded on the island), they created a team and ventured back to Bolt and Criss' homeland to aid in the war they fled to begin with.. After the war was won the friends set forth to become mercenaries. During one of their missions Bolt and Daisu got into a huge argument about Daise never following through the plan. Daisu and Eon (since they were explicitly in love with each other) left the team. A few months later Amumu got killed in a war against humans. Bolt and Criss fled through the caverns near the sea. Criss fell in a canyon. Bolt walked down to the river and looked for her, hoping she wasn't dead. He found her footprints and some footprints of a creature he had never seen before, in the direction of the sea. He has been looking for her since.

You know it's funny, I was reading appearance here and thought "Huh, this sounds like an Umbreon" and what do you know I get to your sig and boom. There we are. Anyway. On to the profile. While your overall character profiling is good, you have a few nitpicks we need to address.

Now I'm not sure, as I'll continue to explain later, if you are using Umbreon here, or if it is a creature based on Umbreon. Is this a pokemon universe? You'll understand my confusion in a later question, but that's something you need to address with me, just so I can advise you further so others aren't confused. Purple glowing balls of energy, now, is this electrical energy? Or just pure energy? You mention electricity a lot so I'm just wondering. Sounds like Shadowball. Big red glowing eyes as an illusion to freeze others is interesting, but why would that freeze others? Out of fear? Or is it part of the magic? Sounds like Mean Look or Stare or whatever that move is called. Again, this is... not a pokemon universe? Or is it supposed to be? I just wonder.

Just a nitpick. You might want to list the weaknesses/limits in the same order as you originally listed powers. You might also want to make them more separated and easier to read therefore, like in a bullet point or list or

Water and metal users? So is this pokemon world or are you referring to people/beings who manipulate metals and water? Nitpick, it would be "dog's hearing" rather than "hearings". You don't have to change it if you don't want to as small spelling mistakes don't really affect your character.

This is where you see I'm really confused. Why would he hate if people call him Bulbasaur if he's not an Umbreon? If he IS an Umbreon, why don't you just say that somewhere? There are a lot of people familiar with pokemon and if they are not, saying it will help them reference. Is there a reason people would call him Bulbasaur? They don't exactly look alike and it's never mentioned in history.

Mhm... mhm, okay... tackled... knocked friend out, nice... met others, cool... wait, war? What war? When did this happen? Why did Bolt and Daisu get into a huge arguement? About what? Wait, why did Eon go? What are the other footprints Bolt saw? Did he recognize them? You've got a lot of questions you raise with no answers, can you expand a little?
