General Appearance: He keeps his hair long and shaggy and generally looks very unkempt. Always wears his poncho that looks like a pair of wings folded over from his back. Underneath his poncho he wears a black Kevlar vest most of the time. Under that he wears a long sleeve cobalt blue shirt. He wears a pair of black denim pants.

Armor: Wing Poncho, Kevlar Vest

Carried Possessions: Keeps a phone and a radio on his belt and a small bag of extra clips for his gun.


Powers/Magic/Skills: After Charlie receives a mortal wound of any kind he will die for the length of only a minute. His poncho will spread open and revive him and slowly heal all injuries.
Limits: The effect can only be used once ever 2 hours, and only while he is wearing the poncho. He will stay dead for the rest of the two hours if he is killed again. The poncho needs to be on him for the power to work.
Side-Effects: When he comes back to life he is greatly weakened. His strength is sapped, his vision is blurred, and his actions confused. He can hardly lift his pistol much less shoot it straight.

Battle Strengths: Is skilled with his weapons, and is experienced enough to keep himself alive in normal battles.
Battle Weaknesses: Will often find himself in battles that are not normal. He will charge enemies that could slaughter his teammates to take them out, often dying in the process.

Personality: He takes a great interest in other peoples lives, but tries not to do anything unless he is asked. Lazes around and watches things go down when not asked to help. Treats others lives as stories to himself. Likes to give very short responses to people if not just a grunt or sigh.

Friendly with the people in his company, but beyond that is slightly reclusive. He will observe people before speaking with them. Even if he finds a person interesting he will not trust them. His lack of social skills keeps him from telling if people lie to him easily.

History: Was a close friend to and subject of an ex government scientist. The project he was involved in ran after a failed cloning project and focused on high speed regeneration. It's goal was eventually a form of immortality, but was eventually deemed too wasteful. The project only ended with Charlie as it's proof of concept.

The system used to bring him back after he is killed is limited as it only works with a special cloth poncho, and it can only work once every couple of hours. Because of chemical changes that had to be made with his body for it to work the poncho only works for Charlie.

The scientist in charge of the project thought it was safe to turn Charlie loose with the poncho since they knew he wouldn't understand how it worked, and they had made it in a way that kept it from being reproduced. After he left he met a man named Luke Green who ran a private military company called LMK. When he told Luke about his ability Luke knew he would be able to use him well. From then on Charlie found several good friends within the company, and knew each time he was sent out their chances of living were increased.

There was always nothing Charlie loved more than a good story, and each of his teammates gave him something interesting to think about. To have a little fun with them, he decided not to tell them about his immortality. All they saw him doing was running off on suicidal missions and coming back tired. He almost always came back with good results as well.

Has been reported dead by enemies so many times, he's gotten the nickname Angel. He's worked as a mercenary for just over ten years, and was primarily used either to test enemy defenses or long range solo missions in hostile environments. Usually assassinations or rescue missions to either extract or mercy kill hostages. His boss Luke liked to take advantage of the fact Charlie wouldn't stay dead.

FIRSTLY HOW MUCH AMMO DOES HE KEEP ON HIS PERSON? SINCE HE CAN ONLY USE HIS REVIVAL POWERS EVERY TWO HOURS, WHAT IF HE GETS REVIVED AND THEN KILLED AGAIN WITHIN THE TWO HOUR LIMIT? DEATH?

Seven shots a clip, one clip in the gun and four extras. As long as he has the poncho it's death for two more hours if the poncho is removed he's dead unless it's put back on. Not that any enemies are gonna jump to the conclusion "It must be the poncho, get it!" I'll expand on the personality a little.
