History: Valhelm grew up in the 'suburbs' of the forest, with a lot of space and piece and quiet. His father was an old military veteran, and taught him how to use a bow effectively. When he was a young age of 125, orcs attacked his small village and burnt it to the ground. He, and his friend Zegre were the only ones to escape. They moved closer to the center of the forest, and he lived there for 75 years.
The forest of the elves was overpopulated. To much noise and people, for Valhelm. He left the forest when he was 200, and he has a lot of life to live. When he got to the outlying village, he bought himself a house on the edge of town. In the house, he found the bow with a note saying: This bow is now yours. No one had signed the note, and nobody had known the previous owners. He decided to keep the bow.
The next morning, he went into town for some food. He bought the food and went down a side street. He passed a small dojo. While watching through the window, the sensei cam out and asked, "Do you want to join, or are you going to stand out here all day?" Valhelm said yes, and he started doing the special mix of martial arts.
He excelled, and in 5 years, he had the black belt, which no one had ever gotten while the sensei had taught
His skills are too vague. Why can he only use the kick once in a battle? How powerful is it, and the punches? Can they break through rock? Or just knock a human male back? How strong are the elemental arrows and how does he imbue them with the power? How long does it take to do so? He also needs a few more weaknesses to balance out his strengths. Does he perhaps have bad stamina, and that's why he can only use his skills sparingly?
I'd also like to see the personality section fleshed out more. You haven't told us much.
After you make these first edits, let me know and I'll have another look and see what more there is to work on.
