Hair: Scruffy greenish brown hair, reasonably short.

Height: 5 Feet 2 Inches

Weapon: Yew longbow, never strung, always at the ready, Standing at 153cm tall and taking down to 60cm at each limb, his bow features padded material on the inside of the limb recess to prevent damage between the riser and limbs . Carrying only 36 Broad Headed arrows, at any given time. He is also equipped with a set of 4 throwing knifes in the shapes of leaves.

Armour: Huge green-brown cloak enchanted to be as light as a feather, covering him, and making him blend into his environment with ease. Underneath, very light leather that would hardly prevent any attack. Gilbert feels safe having some sort of protection underneath his cloak.

Strengths: Gilbert is exceptional in the arts of concealment and Archery, he is very skilled with a bow, preferable his yew longbow, he is able to shoot an arrow at the blink of an eye with the arrow being as accurate as ever. Gilbert has also trained to be incredibly skilful with throwing knifes being able to throw them in an instant. Gilbert is very strategic and an exceptional tracker. Exceptional hearing from being blind for so long, sounds are projected though his head as if he was actually seeing what was there, the lighter the sound is the harder it is for him to “see”. Gilbert has a dog, named Er - Pronounced "Eaer" which helps guide him and tell him of his surroundings.

Weaknesses: Because Gilbert only wears light leather he is susceptible to any attack especially if the enemy is stealthy. His main weakness would be magic as it would usually be faster than he could move. Gilbert is a true believer of Chivalry, and would never seek combat with a woman. Gilbert is blind which makes him unable to notice the obvious day to day things.

Appearance: Gilbert is a small and wiry man with muscles mainly in his shoulders and his legs, his face which is rarely seen is small, sinister looking and half shaven, if you got to see it. His eyes are fogged and are only white, he almost always wears his huge green-brown cloak to cover his face as he likes to be unknown his hair is known to be scruffy, uncut and a mix of green and brown, his clothing attire consists of Gilbert’s green silk shirt made to be 2 sizes bigger than he is originally and matching pants.

Personality: Gilbert is an observer, a man of few words. Throughout his life he has managed to remain quiet and listen to what people know and what they think before acting. This also applies in battles, where he quickly thinks every single option before engaging the enemy. He likes to think of all enemies’ he does not already know, to be stronger than him, to not get too “confident”. Gilbert gets very agitated by the rash, ignorant people who rush into decisions without thinking of the consequences.

Pet: Er - Pronounced "Eaer" is like Gilbert’s guide dog, she tells Gilbert of his surroundings by her small croaky barks. Er has undergone special training provided by Gilbert and his Mother.

Strengths: Er is extremely good at surveying the area and stealth, he tells Gilbert about the surroundings by small barks. She has a strong sense of smell and provides great guidance for Gilbert.

Weaknesses: Er has not been trained in combat, which makes her unable to help her master if the need arises.

Biography: Gilbert was born in unfortunate circumstances into a village called Lantedyme. His father died before he was born in the war of Hiamnsa, and he had a complication in birth that leads him to be permanently blind. As he grew up, he was surrounded by very few, but close friends, the others not even acknowledging him for his pledge to becoming a Ranger. Rangers are feared by normal people because of their almost supernatural abilities. This didn't include Gilbert. He was fascinated by it from a young age.

Gilbert was accepted into the rangers by his master Hailey who taught him how develop his exceptional hearing, his developed sense allows him to “see” objects that create noise. During his intense training he also learned how to be an exceptional archer and perfect the use of his yew longbow; he also learned the ability of stealth, to blend in to his surroundings with his green-brown cloak. Another of the useful skills Gilbert learned was how to be tactical.

Now Gilbert travels the roads, gathering all the information he can, being aware of everyone and thinking of everyone being stronger than he, looking for people to employ him either as a tactician or to get information. Whenever his business takes him to a town where any of his friends live he always takes the time to drop in and have a brief chat.
