Days of the Hyrulean Royal Knights
Okay, this is my character fiction for Judo. Read these little stories to follow good ol' General Judo and his epic adventures as the commander of the Royal Knights of Hyrule. Characters that should always appear are family members Kelli, Mayula, and Link, the deputy commander Conan, Princess Zelda, and the King of Hyrule. Let's begin with part one of episode one. :]
Episode 1 Part 1: The Mysterious Explosion "Oof! Dad, come on now, I'm never going to get this right!" Mayula, a young 13-year-old girl exclaimed as she fell down from attempting to learn a new move from her father, a swordsman of a knight. General Judo was the commander of the Royal Knights of Hyrule, the strongest fighting force in the kingdom. Judo himself, whether he commanded or not, was the strongest soldier in the land and had won more battles than anyone else so far. He never gave up until success was reached, and now he was going to teach his daughter to do the same. "Sure you will. Practice makes perfect," Judo encouraged. "Now come at me again and remember to get a good idea of where you might land." Mayula sighed and nodded her head as she got up. She raced towards her father and leaped to his chest level, struck the chest plate with her swords, flipped backwards, and as she began to go towards the ground, landed on her feet, though she almost lost her balance again. "There, you did it!" Judo said with a smile. "I know, it's tough landing after this. I mean even I still need to work on it a little before I decide to use it in battle, but you'll get the hang of it. I think it'll be useful for larger enemies. "Yeah, I think you're right. But hey, what about Mom? Shouldn't she learn this too?" May asked. "Oh yeah, I showed her earlier," Judo replied. "Now let's continue with simple sparring until your mother gets back from town." Mayula nodded with a smile and started towards her father again. Her mother, Kelli, had gone to Hyrule Castle Town to run some errands. Just as Mayula jumped again and started to attempt a Helm Splitter on Judo, a boom so loud that it shook the ground, sounded forth from the direction of town. Mayula, having been right above Judo's head at the time, was startled by it and came crashing down on top of him. The two fell to the ground as a result. "Ack!" Judo exclaimed as he landed, Mayula following with a plop on his back. "Dad! Are you alright?" she asked as she quickly got up hoping she didn't hurt her father. "What's happening?" Judo scrambled to his feet and brushed himself off before answering. "I'm fine and I have no idea, but that explosion came from town," Judo pointed out. "...Your mother is in danger!" With that he motioned Mayula to follow him and the two alerted Kelli's cousin Link, the deputy commander Conan, and the King of the incident in case they hadn't seen where the explosion occured. Conan and Link joined Judo and Mayula in the search for Kelli and once they raced down the path away from the castle, smoke had begun rising from the town square ahead. Although Kelli had armed herself in case of emergencies, an explosion could happen anywhere and kill people on instant. The group could only hope she wasn't at the explosion site. Knowing this, Mayula began to feel tears build up in her eyes. When she sniffled, Judo sensed her feelings. "May, don't cry just yet. Your mother was supposed to be returning by now and may be away from where the bomb went off," Judo comforted. Mayula nodded but was still very worried as the four warriors entered Hyrule Castle Town. Yeah, it's short, but the next part will be longer, I promise. Comments are allowed and appreciated in here. :]

Re: Days of the Hyrulean Royal Knights
And here's the next part. Enjoy! ^^
Within the town walls, frightened people were panicking about everywhere. There wasn't a place any of Judo's group could look that didn't have someone cowering in fear. The smoke was coming up from over half the buildings in town, suggesting that the bomb was so powerful, it nearly blew up the whole town. Chances of Kelli being okay and umharmed were now slim, and the warriors looked around everywhere to see if one of the panicking townsfolk were her. However, the young female warrior was nowhere to be seen. Judo's fear for the safety of his wife only grew with each passing minute as sweat began to fall from his forehead. He wiped it off before speaking. "Kelli!" he called. "Where are you?!" "I don't see Mom anywhere, Dad!" Mayula cried. Tears were by now falling down her cheeks as she clutched Judo's arm in fear. "Kel! Can you hear us?!" Link yelled through the chaos. But there was no answer. Judo had to think fast or the whole town would burn down along with a number of people. "Blast! She isn't anywhere out here!" he exclaimed, trying to keep his cool. "This is bad," Conan said, biting his upper lip. "Don't worry, we'll get this all under control," Judo replied. "Conan, go back and get some men to help put out these fires! Link, May, and I will continue the search. Hurry!" "Understood," Conan obeyed. He rushed back towards the castle as fast as his legs would carry him. Judo, Mayula, and Link began scoping out the buildings and alley ways of town for Kelli. If she was nowhere to be found around the square, chances of her being hurt or dead rose even more. Conan was back in no time with a squad of knights and began to put out the fires with buckets of water gathered by the townsfolk. Following them, however, were Princess Zelda and her own daughter, Vira, whom was Mayula’s best friend. Asking Conan for directions where Judo went, they found him, Link, and May within minutes. May, however, had noticed something the others didn’t and went off to investigate a small shop in the alleyway. "Judo! I’m glad we found you!” Zelda exclaimed in relief. “Zel, what are you and Vira doing here?” Judo wondered. “It’s too dangerous for all of us to be putting ourselves in peril!” “Don’t worry about us, we need to find Kelli!” Zelda replied. “Vira, go help your father while I join Judo and May. That way each team will have someone with a bow and a sword.” “Good idea, Mom. See you later!” Vira replied and went to her own father, Link. Judo looked around and saw Mayula already looking around for Kelli and joined her by checking other places. The rest of the group started searching as well. However, Mayula finally saw the door of the shop she was standing at budge a little and peeked through the window. On the floor, partially covered in soot and smoke, was a blonde woman in an aqua green tunic: Kelli. May gasped quietly and threw open the door. Kelli tried to get up, but she was too weak and began coughing quite a bit. May kneeled to her mother’s side to help her and turned to get Judo. “DAD!” Mayula called so loudly Judo almost jumped. “I found her, but Mom is really sick!” “Ugh…Blast…” Judo replied and rushed to his wife and daughter’s aid where Mayula’s voice was coming from. “Kel!” “Ju-Judo…” Kelli stammered, trying to speak. However, coughing kept getting in her way. “I’m…sorry.” Judo immediately picked Kelli up in his arms as the others joined him to see if she was alright. Her body was covered in soot and her hair was dirty and tangled. Kelli’s sword, the legendary Sun Sword, was in her hand, but also got dirty. “Sorry for what? You’re going to be alright!” Judo assured. “This…happened. I was doing…my errand when some bombs suddenly…went off,” Kelli struggled to explain, but coughed in between some words. “You mean there was more than one bomb?” Judo inquired. Kelli nodded and coughed some more. "Yes...monsters appeared not long...after.." she finished. Suddenly she began to cough worse than before, worrying Judo more. "Kel, shush now. You're wasting your strength," Judo insisted firmly. Just as he was trying to think of a way to get Kelli to safety quickly, Conan showed up in the alley looking for his commander. The deputy commander stopped in shock to see Kelli's weak and dirty state. She was now close to unconsciousness and breathing very slowly. Feeling so weak, she could barely move at all, Kelli just lay in Judo's arms, the soot covering her hair, face, parts of her clothes, and much of her legs. Bruises had started appearing on her left arm as well as her left leg, suggesting she'd fallen on something hard. "Holy cuccos..." Conan said. "Conan! Excellent timing. I need you and a few of the men to get Kelli to safety," Judo ordered. "Then leave a squad to guard the castle entrance. The rest of us will investigate here." "Will do!" Conan obeyed. "What about Yaku and his men? Shouldn't they get reports of the incident as well?" "I'd prefer not to get too many of us involved unless things get serious," Judo explained. "I'll send for Yaku if it becomes necessary." Conan nodded, took Kelli in his arms, and joined a pair of knights outside of the alley to escape back to the castle. General Yaku commanded Hyrule's other military force, the Royal Guard, who included the castle guards who patrolled the courtyard and castle itself. Judo and company then left the alley ways to see that no buildings were completely razed, thanks to Conan's efforts with the other knights. The group that Conan left behind was awaiting Judo's command in the town square. Judo stepped in front of them with Mayula, Vira, Zelda, and Link behind him. "Alright. From here on out, we split into groups and search the field for any sign of these monsters Kelli reported," Judo began. "I want one group to remain here. Two others will go to the field. Send for me immediately if you find anything." "Understood, sir!" the men replied with loyalty. "Now let's go monster fishing!" Judo exclaimed. After letting out a small cheer, the knights separated into their groups. Three men went with Judo and the others while the rest of the knights made the other two groups. Judo's group headed for the field to begin their mission.

Re: Days of the Hyrulean Royal Knights
Oh hey, thanks! :]
I'm sorry it's been so long since I last posted here, I was in writer's block. I have the next part ready. ^^ The three groups of knights whom had gone into Hyrule Field immediately split up and headed into three different directions. The group that included Judo, Mayula, Link, Zelda, and Vira took a path that headed towards Gerudo Valley. Upon passing by Lon Lon Ranch, Judo eyed it cautiously, hoping none of the monsters had reached that area before any of his knights could. The rest of the group simply carried on their way towards the valley, which was right beside Lake Hylia to the south. Upon approaching the entrance, the ongoing silence was finally broken. “What do you think, Judo?” Conan asked once they arrived. “Should we start in the valley itself or head straight into the fortress grounds?” Gerudo’s Fortress was up ahead on the other side of the valley. The Gerudo, a tribe entirely comprised of women except for the lone male born every hundred years, made their residence there. “Hmm…I say we start here. Monsters could be practically anywhere right now,” Judo pointed out. “I also suggest we take a look around individually, but be careful.” “Right,” Link and Zelda agreed. Mayula and Vira teamed up while everyone else was on their own in the valley. Link crossed the bridge and went around the area near the tent that stood on the other side. Judo and Zelda stayed by the waterfall where a small plank spanned the pond it fell into. Conan stood right on the bridge that flowed across the valley and kept watch for anything in the sky. Mayula and Vira walked along the valley cliffs and peered down into the depths below, as far down as the river. For awhile, nothing out of the ordinary was discovered, and everyone hoped things would stay that way. However, minutes passed before Mayula spotted moving figures deep down over the river. “Psst! Vira! Look down there!” she pointed. Vira peered down where her friend was looking and easily made out the same figures. “Aw! Monsters!” she exclaimed rather quietly. “Shhh!” Mayula replied. “I don’t want the others to know. I want to handle them myself with your help. Are you with me?” “What?! May, we have no idea what those are!” Vira pointed out. “Are you crazy?!” “No, I’m not. I know what I’m doing. I don’t know why, but lately my mom and dad have been getting far too overprotective,” Mayula explained. “I want to prove to them that I can take care of myself better than they think. Now are you coming?” “Well…alright fine, just so you’re not alone,” Vira reluctantly agreed. With that, the two quietly stood at the edge of the cliff and, when none of the others were looking, they dove into the river deep below. Judo and Link had taught their daughters to swim a few years back, so the depth of the water was not an issue. Once the girls splashed into the current, they grabbed onto the single platform on one side of the valley and climbed up. However, the monsters they’d seen had already gone ahead, as they were not down there any longer. Vira spotted them following the river up ahead. “Hey, they’re heading for Lake Hylia!” she exclaimed. “Let’s let the current take us there too!” “I wouldn’t do anything else right now,” Mayula agreed. After the two girls immediately jumped back into the water, the fast and rapid current quickly carried them straight into the clear blue Lake Hylia farther down south. After the river spit them into the vast lake, the girls immediately made for shore and scanned the area for the monsters they were pursuing. However, none were to be found anywhere. It was almost as if those monsters never existed at all. “That’s funny,” Mayula commented. “I could have sworn they came this way.” “Well, we tried. Let’s go back to our parents now,” Vira insisted. “No! We have to stay and keep watch. They could come back,” Mayula protested. “Fine…” Back in Gerudo Valley, Judo was busily finishing up his analysis of the area he was searching. Zelda had gone to join Link while Conan was still keeping watch of the sky. Nothing appeared to them, however, and soon they began to think it was inevitable that they would find nothing if the group just waited there. Surely the monsters could guess that they were a threat to them by the armor, swords, and other weapons and items they carried. However, before Judo could speak up about this issue, Conan had left his post to bring him some very displeasing news. “Judo!” he exclaimed as he raced straight to his commander. “Conan, what’s wrong?” Judo wondered, a feeling of worry running through his body at instant. “May and Vira…they’re not here anymore!” “WHAT?!” Judo boomed in great shock. “…No! Mayula better not have persuaded Vira to go off with her alone!” “It could have been either that or monsters I’m willing to bet,” Conan replied. “My apologies for this.” “It’s not your fault,” Judo assured. “Just help me find them!” “Find who?” Zelda asked, having wandered over. “May and Vira. They’ve disappeared,” Judo explained. "What?!" Zelda gasped in concern. "But why--? How--?" Zelda was unable to finish her sentence due to the worrying feelings running through her veins. “Stay calm, Conan and I will look for them," Judo assured. "You and Link stay here and keep watch for anything suspicious. I’m willing to bet anything those girls snuck off alone.” “Alright, but be careful,” Zelda warned. “Of course,” Judo replied. “If either of you two see the knights, let them know what’s going on and have one or two report to his majesty.” “Will do,” Zelda promised. With that, Judo motioned Conan to come with him, and the two departed the valley as quickly as their armored legs could carry them. They knew they could not move very fast in armor, so all they could do was hope that they would find the girls before any of the monsters would get to them first.

Re: Days of the Hyrulean Royal Knights
Finally, I'm updating this again. Sorry for the long wait, whoever's reading.
![]() For some time, Mayula and Vira stood next to the Lakeside Laboratory situated on a cliff that overlooked the entire area of Lake Hylia. The lake looked just as peaceful as ever, but the two girls were not going to let anything catch them off guard. Those monsters had to have gone somewhere and they couldn’t have gotten very far in such a short time. Listening hard and carefully, Mayula and Vira stood their ground and were careful not to make any noise themselves whatsoever. Just when the two were beginning to get bored, however, a splash of water spouted from the lake nearby and out of the waves emerged a Zora, one of the fish-like aquatic people of Hyrule. He looked at the two girls standing on the cliff above with confusion. “Hey, you!” the Zora called out. “What are you two young girls doing out here by yourselves?” “Watching for some monsters we saw go this way,” Mayula replied. “Did you see them too?” “No, but that reminds me of a couple rumors I recently heard about this place,” the Zora explained. “Come down here and I’ll tell you. It’s best you ought to know while at the lake.” Mayula and Vira agreed to listen and ran down to the edge of the water where the Zora awaited them. They opened their ears when he was about to speak. “Listen carefully. Since you’re armed and you’re watching things here, I should definitely tell you this. Rumor has it that sea serpents have invaded the lake,” the Zora began. “Sea serpents?!” the girls exclaimed at the same time in great shock. “Shhh!” the Zora warned. “I don’t want anyone else to hear us. We might cause a panic.” “Sorry,” Vira apologized. “Anyway, the rumors also say that one of these serpents…is a spirit.” “A spirit, eh?” Mayula replied. “That’s not gonna scare us off. Right, Vir?” “Right,” Vira agreed. “It’ll take way more than that to even make us nervous, let alone scared.” “Well, you two certainly are brave,” the Zora complimented. “I’ve always wondered if the rumors were true, so I’ll wait here with you.” Mayula and Vira didn’t mind this request, so the Zora floated there in the water nearby while the girls resumed their watch. However, still nothing appeared after awhile, and Mayula was finally thinking about giving up and going to find Judo and the others instead. Just when she was about to propose this new plan, a rumbling in the water sounded forth from somewhere near the Water Temple, the temple on the bed of the lake guarded by the Zoras. In mere seconds, out leaped a snake-like monster that was at least twice the size of a Dragolfos, a humanoid dragon warrior and the largest common land enemy seen in Hyrule. “It’s one of them!” Mayula gasped. “Vira, this thing is huge. We’ll have to work together to destroy it!” “Yeah, but what do we do?” Vira wondered. “I’m thinking.” “While you two work on your plan, I’m going to report back to Zora’s Domain. I’ll return here when I’m finished to see if you’re alright,” the Zora decided. He immediately raced through the water and down into a portal leading to the Zoras’ home. Mayula and Vira eyed the giant-sized sea serpent as it roared loud and mighty, towering above the lake’s surface. It moved with great speed through the water as it suddenly lunged for the two girls standing near shore, only to miss when their own agility allowed them to dodge. As the creature rammed itself into the edge of the water, Mayula had glanced at Vira’s quiver of arrows while the beast’s superb speed was on her mind. A possible solution was coming to her. “Vira, your arrows! It can only seem to hit us up close!” Mayula cried to her friend. “Yeah, but that thing moves so fast and I don’t exactly have excellent aim,” Vira protested. “Don’t worry, if you miss, I can redirect your shot with my powers,” Mayula assured. “Are you sure? I know your telekinesis is a powerful ability, but…” “Just trust me on this!” Vira then nodded and readied an arrow on her bow. The creature had just now shook off the blow from crashing into the lake’s edge and eyed the girls once more. Vira fired her arrow as quickly as possible, but it had barely bypassed the creature’s upper flesh. Mayula then instantly allowed her eyes to glow completely white and encase the still flying arrow in a white glow as well. It suddenly changed its course and drove itself into the beast’s scaly skin. Upon the impact of the arrow’s sharp arrowhead, the serpent bellowed in pain and stood at a fairly noticeable angle, now facing the opposite direction of the girls. Mayula took this this as an opportunity for her to launch her own attack and started running up the creature’s back as if it were stairs. “Vira, keep firing arrows when I give you the signal!” she called to her friend. “May, I hope to Farore you know what you’re doing,” Vira replied as she readied another arrow and waited. Once Mayula had reached a steeper part of the beast’s body, she thrust both her blades into its flesh and began to climb up as if she were scaling a cliff. However, she could only manage a few stabs due to the creature trying to shake her off upon taking the pain and roaring once more. As she hung there, being swung around in different directions, May turned her attention to Vira’s waiting arrow. “NOW!” she hollered as loud as she could. Vira then began stringing arrow after arrow towards the serpent’s flesh once more. Mayula redirected every arrow that missed as promised, which had only been about half the shots. With the monster standing more still than before, Mayula climbed up to its head with her swords and leaped into the air with her swords held sideways in front of her. She came down right towards the beast’s neck and let both her blades slide right through, severing its head from its body. Mayula dropped down towards the shore below, rolled, and landed upright on her feet while her blades pointed outward in opposite directions. The sea serpent’s remains fell into the water below and sunk into the depths of the lake. “May, we did it! You’re getting really good at this!” Vira complimented. “You’ve really taken after General Judo, haven’t you?” “Well, he does teach me everything he knows,” Mayula replied with a smile. “But now that this beast is taken care of, can you go get my father and the others? I’ll wait here for the Zora and keep watch in case anymore of these serpents appear.” “But are you going to be alright by yourself?” Vira asked. “Don’t worry about me. I’ll figure out something if I have to battle again,” May assured her friend. “Besides, one of us has to be here when the Zora returns.” “True. Just be careful. I’ll be back as soon as I can,” Vira promised. She then darted off to the lake’s entrance in hopes she would find Judo and the others still in Gerudo Valley.
