Letting Go

This is about my character Ryoki. I'm trying to practice writing with her for a little more. So here it is...

You may comment on it now, or any future part of the story, for that matter...

~+ Letting Go: Chapter 1 +~

A faint wind awakened the girl sitting on the ground, all alone. Her face was pale, almost blending in with the snow that covered her body like a blanket. Her pale blue eyes opened slowly, and she sat up, snow falling gently from her face. She looked around, like she was looking for something frantically. Then she seemed to realize it wasn't there, and she sighed gentily.

The girl stood up, using her nearby sword to help her up. She needed help to stand up, and it had been going on for a long time. She was afraid that her body was weakening, like it was dying. This worried the girl only a little, she would be willing to die, but only after she found what she was looking for.

What she was looking for...was a man, no, an angel. His name was Ray Goldflower, and he was dead.

The girl wasn't one of those people to shun out the truth that somebody has died, but she wasn't looking for his body at all. The Ray Goldflower she was looking for was his spirit. She was looking for his spirit. The girl had only started looking only a few days ago, after that one night when she found out a way to find her deceased lover.

This is the tale of Miss. Ryoki Rytori.

Ryoki collapsed after only walking a few steps, and she fell into a deep pile of snow. Her face was turning a faint shade of red, but as pale as her face was, it stood out. She used her weapon to help her up again, determined to try to go a few more steps.

The teenager managed a few steps out of herself, but it felt like a mile. She fell again, not even trying to get up again. She wanted to stay there and rest some more, yet she feared that she would never awake again. Ryoki had to keep moving.....she had to.....

Yet the call of the dreams that awated her when she slept almost sang a lulliby to her. She just couldn't resist being put to sleep by the same lulliby that Ray had sung to her when she was young. As she began to fade away into the dreamworld, she recalled the moment she started to search for her only person....Ray Goldflower...
