The Legend of the Weapon Master

The Weapon Master of Soridisan legend is a wielder of great power. There have been many who have given their precious time, and even shed blood, to hone the skills worthy of the title of Warrior, but the combined efforts of those individuals pale in comparison to what it takes to actually become a Weapon Master. Not only must he have drive, ambition, and the neccesary skills, but he must be one selected by the hand of Destiny. This individual, when his full potential is unlocked, will weild near god-like powers. No mortal will be able to inflict harm upon him, for then he will be immortal, feeling no pain. However, such an individual will not be able to exist in the mortal world. So upon achieving immortal status, by using his powers to uphold the cause of righteousness, the Weapon Master will leave the physical plane, to enjoy his eternal life in a state of bliss. However, if the Weapon Master were to use his obtained powers for personal gain, and the exploitation of his fellow creatures, then will his spirit be severed from his body, his vital force drained of him, and his prosperity defeated, by the next Weapon Master, chosen by the hand of Destiny.

There is a prophecy handed down from generation to generation, with signs that will follow the next weapon Master, chosen by the hand of Destiny

The one who will wield the power,
Will be born in a Sordisan Tower.

His guardian will become very sore,
at his attraction to the ways of war.

One day, while he hones his skills,
The domestic peace he will kill.

Lonely and alienated from home,
The adventurer will find a Dome.

Led by his spirit's voice and light,
In the Dome he will learn to fight.

He will run and cleave to destiny fast,
guided by a monster to his first task.

Over time, his power will increase,
and his fervor for battle will never cease.

He will promote the cause of good,
As all chilvarous warriors should.

Years will pass and he will recieve the power,
in the city of Blake in the noonday hour.

The power will be rewarded to him,
by defeating the fell beast of Klim.

His legend will transcend space and time.
